There's a saying I always keep in mind for things like this. Don't let the inmates run the asylum. It's impossible to please everyone, and selecting a few fan things while ignoring others will just cause more of the same thing to happen. I for example have my issues with KH3 but the lack of FF characters was not one of them.

Ok, that is your opinion I guess? I disagree

Saying it is worse than coded is quite the stretch in my personal opinion... I think that the long wait may have blinded you from a more realistic game... It pretty much nailed most aspects of what it was trying to do which is extremely impressive not only for Nomura, but the company itself. Square seems to always fall short whenever there is a lot of pressure on them, and they did not do so with this game. Are there some disappointments? Of course. But saying it is worse than coded is like trying to argue that The Revenge of the Sith is worse than the Holiday Special... Respectfully, Wasabii

Some people may disagree with this being a guilty pleasure, but i always keep a save file ready just before the 1000 Heartless battle so i can play through it whenever I want. A lot of people feel that segment is badly planned and repetitive (my boyfriend is one of them), but I find it so fun!

Hi everyone. So Kingdom Hearts 3 finally came and to most, it was everything they thought it would be. After all these years it finally came and now we know just where the series will go post Xehanort. I want to say thank you for taking this journey with me. I’m glad we were in this together. So one chapter closes and another one opens. Some of you noticed I have been on here rarely, but not posting. I have of course been playing KH3, but also life has come into play as well. Things are changing and I am getting older and going into grad school. I have thought about this for a while too. What I am saying is like the Kingdom Hearts series, one chapter closes and another opens meaning I will be leaving this site. I will come back to see news, but logging on will not be happening anymore. If it does, it will happen rarely like an eclipse, but I won’t be posting. I want to thank this community for taking me in and for the staff that have accepted me. I want to apologize to any members that I have hurt both purposely and inadvertently and I want to apologize to any staff for any bad behavior of mine throughout the years; please forgive this imperfect human being. Thank you to all the fans who read the My Kingdom Hearts Story saga I wrote. I was absolutely flattered that I had so many people reading it. Special shoutout to The Transcendent Key for reading the story and drawing pictures for it. I am thankful we were good friends and for your publicity. I look forward to the next step in my life and in the Kingdom Hearts saga. Thank you all again. God bless you all. May your heart be your guiding key.

When People Compare KH3 To KH2

I agree completely. I noticed pretty quickly that a lot of the complaints I've seen about KH3 were also things that people complained about with KH2 when it first came out. Honestly, if you look at the issues people are pointing out, a lot of them are issues that the previous installments had too. And this isn't me saying, "yeah, well Kingdom hearts 2 sucked too, guys!" Kingdom Hearts 2 is a fine game. I don't think it's the best in the series (honestly I think Kingdom Hearts 3 was better), but it is solid. What caused this backlash was one simple thing: Hype. All the hype kind of crippled Kingdom Hearts 3 right out of the gate. It was just sooooo built up and people developed these ludicrously unrealistic expectations for it. I think this problem will be remedied. What will remedy it? Simple. Time. People need time to simmer down and look at the game objectively. Again, this same thing happened with Kingdom hearts 2 when it first came out. It was not seen as a masterpiece upon release. People had major issues with it. I think the same thing will happen with Kingdom Hearts 3. Give it time. People will come around.

We know ultimately that it’s all Three Terra, Aqua & Ventus. but Imo It’s Ventus. 1. the Game starts with Ventus as He Dives to the Heart (just like Sora and Roxas), and he’s mainly the Main controllable character in the Prologue. 2. Most artworks of BBS has Ventus sitting in the center 3. The story of Birth by Sleep is mostly about Xehanort wanting to forge The X-blade (Ventus) in order to take control of kingdom hearts. the only reason he even needs a younger body (Terra) is just to make sure he can see his plans come to fruition before his old body gives out. 4. Vanitas and the Unversed came from Ventus, Xehanort tasks Vanitas to spread his Unversed everywhere just to lure Ventus to the outside world, and it also forced Eraqus to send Terra and Aqua to the outside world as well. 5. Ventus has a big connection with Sora and Master Xehanort. 6. He’s at the center of every conflict, everyone is either after him or worried about him. Terra and Aqua trying to protect him, Eraqus is trying to dispose of him for the sake of the world, Xehanort wants him for his big plan, Vanitas wants to fuse with him to obtain the legendary χ-blade. 7. He saves worlds and many people on his journey, and he doesn’t leave any mess behind (similar to Aqua). 8. He Has the most epic flashy cinematic final boss battle among the Wayfinder trio. 9. His heroic sacrifice stopped the X-blade for good. 10. Ventus goes through character development and even faces his obstacles and conquers them, he faces Vanitas and succeeds in destroying the X-blade and ruins Xehanort’s plan (Terra meanwhile does also have some character development in his story, but he fails in conquering his obstacles and gets possessed by the villain and becomes the main antagonist of the Series. and Aqua is like the hero of the trio, but she doesn’t go through a clear character development until the sequel game 0.2, and also in her debuted game she like Terra, failed in conquering her obstacles cause she couldn’t save Ventus from the X-blade, and she let Xehanort roam free with Terra’s body)

    Favorite worlds for world design?

As the title says, what are your favorite worlds in terms of the design? Not factoring in story or characters, purely the environments you walk around in and sometimes interact with. Maybe it's just really fun to wander around in, or it's a faithful recreation of your favorite Disney film. Perhaps it's ambitious in terms of what you can do or how you move about. Dream Drop Distance is quite good at this, with the help of reality shifts. The Grid where you can manipulate coding (and the code that appears upon completion of the reality shift makes logical sense in computer terms), or Symphony of Sorcery's unique soundscape and the way Melody Catcher opens up new paths. Atlantica, mainly the first game is a world I admire the ambition in because while the underwater controls and combat aren't entirely intuitive, it's at least ambitious and makes the areas more three dimensional without resorting to platforming. Not to say that platforming is bad, but swimming offers variation. For sheer size and beauty, the Caribbean. It properly feels like exploration and you immerse yourself in the islands and the water. The islands are visually distinct, it's not the same basic asset copy and pasted for quantity over quality.

Well, folks, this is it. It's hard for me to believe it, but we are finally in the epilogue and the closure of the RP. It is three weeks since the events of Isopolis, and it is during the coronation of Prince Jynn. Feel free to insert your character(s) however you wish, filling in what happened after Isopolis, if you desire, or skipping right to the present day. You can even write *after* these events, if you wish. I'm thinking that this scene will be brief. Your characters also do not need to be present for the coronation. They could have gone their own separate ways after Isopolis. It is entirely up to you. This has been amazing, you guys. Thank you so much for being involved with this and participating!

I do get a little tired of people saying they aren't necessary to the game so they shouldn't be there. They also claim that there wouldn't be space for them with all the KH-related stuff going on. If that's the case, why is there space to let Elsa have her little sing along session? Or any of the Disney plots? We should just be getting the Xehanort plot done as fast as possible with no extras, clearly.

I feel just as many others do in this thread: terribly conflicted. I supposed I should start by explaining why I like the FF characters in KH1 and KH2 so much. Just a warning, this may get long, so bear with me. I was never a Final Fantasy guy. Not because I didn't want to, but because I never had the appropriate conditions to play those games. The only one I got to play was FF6. So I'm not a FF savy guy. Still, I absolutely loved their inclusion in KH1. They really felt like part of the game's world rather than feeling like shoehorned-in cameos. I love their interactions with Sora, they just felt like great characters to hang out with. They were the ones who understood Sora, who also had their world taken by the darkness, and who were also on a mission to make things right again. They were the "cozy" part of KH1, everytime we finished the crazy Disney worlds, they were back there in Traverse Town, ready to help you out. Other characters like Cloud in Olympus Coliseum also helped make the world feel grander and more connected, seeing as how they were from the same place but scattered to different worlds. Things like that made KH1 feel more like and adventure rather than a movie sightseeing tour. In other words, the FF characters in KH1 felt like a sort of family to Sora, and, thus, to me as a player as well. I could relate to them, just as Sora could too. In KH2, they are relegated a bit more to the Radiant Garden Reconstruction Committee b-plot, and didn't have much involvement with the main plot. But the essence of what made me like them was still there. Even after Sora's 1 year absence, they still treated him like they had just seen him yesterday. And even though they were minding their own business most of the time, the reconstruction sub-plot was very interesting so it was still very entertaining. I, as a player, wanted to help them out, because they truly felt like a family, united by bonds, caring for each other. The newcomers like Tifa and Auron also helped with that. I also really appreciated everyone that was in Twilight Town. Sure, they were mostly cameos destined to pleading fans, but they still were somehow involved in the story, and that's what made it work. In other words, I guess what I am trying to say is that the Final Fantasy characters don't feel like just Final Fantasy characters. Their backstory, slightly different personalities, and involvement with the plot at different levels made them feel more like actual Kingdom Hearts characters to me. As for BBS, yes, Zack is awesome, but seeing as his dynamics with the TVA are very different from the other FF characters with Sora, he felt more like an actual cameo than all the others. This takes us to Kingdom Hearts 3. And this is where things get complicated. Look, I'm not gonna beat around the bush. The FF characters are not necessary to KH3. The plot could, and most likely will, work out just fine without them. But why do we only need things that are necessary? The Cloud subplot in KH1 wasn't necessary. His story with Tifa and Sephiroth weren't necessary. The inclusion of Seifer, Raijin, Fuujin, Setzer and Vivi in Twilight Town wasn't necessary. But it was still welcomed. They had their cool moments, they had some connection to Sora, and they all had their own little arcs that felt satisfying. That's why I wanted FF characters in KH3, more specifically the ones in Radiant Garden. They have that connection to Sora, they feel like home, they are likeable and they have their arcs that I wanted to see completed in KH3, the end of the Xehanort saga. To not see them in KH3 makes me sad because it'll feel as if one piece of what made me fall in love with the series has vanished. Those characters that made KH1 and KH2 even more special will probably not show up. Hell, we'll be lucky if they even get a mention. To see them just abandoned in KH3... it almost feels like downplaying the role they had in KH1 and KH2 - something you can see many fans doing already. Many are trying to justify the roles they played in KH1 and KH2 as to justify the fact that KH3 is almost removing them; something I think is really disingenuous. But oh well. I suppose that's the biggest take away from the situation. FF characters are like socks. Sure, you don't need them. But some people like using socks, and they'll miss using socks if they can't use them, while others won't mind. Weird comparison, I know, but it fits, I think. I'm the one who likes socks. Sure, I don't need socks. I can still walk, run and jump freely without them. But when I'm not using them, I feel a bit sad, uncomfortable and awkward. I'll still greatly enjoy Kingdom Hearts without FF characters - or at least without the Restoration Committee. But I can't help but think that my whole playthrough will be affected by a constant feeling that something is missing. KH3 will feel like home, but not the whole family will be there. And that makes a bit sad indeed. End of rant, I guess lol.

    KH3 rushed?

Rushed is not the word. I think Demyx is on the money here, KH3 is gonna be the first main console game in a sub-generation, and the first one made by Osaka team, there was bound to be a difference of feeling between KH3 and the other two. And the delay had almost nothing to do with the status of the games completion and almost everything to with an international release, that still isn't simultaneous but that's for another day. KH games have never been super long; you can finish most of them even as a kid in under 30 hours, it would be a mistake imo to expect something more than a 50 hour game maximum

Honestly although I enjoy playing as Riku it was predictable and we have already played as him. It will be a completely wasted opportunity if it turns out no other characters are playable when we know Nomura could have worked in more characters and knows there's a hugely popular demand for them. I am still holding out that this is still the case and there are others playable as well. It could've been fit in the storyline and on the PS4/Xbox1 capabilities so really there's no excuse in my opinion.

I’m curious if you could pick any songs to add into Melody of Memory what songs would you choose? as much as I would like to add every song that wasn’t in the game, I’m only going to pick a few which would be: Face My Fears Sora’s Sacrifice ( I know it could be counted as another version of Simple and Clean but it still considered it’s own song) Hearts as One ( Again I know it’s just the Other Promise and Vector To The Heavens combined and both are already in the game but once again it still counts) What songs would everyone else pick?

Thank you very much! I'm so glad to hear that's the impression you took away from it. Yes, I really get turned off by any argument that's rude or over-the-top negative. Ideally I want anything I write to be constructive and purposeful, even if it is a critique (something I haven't really written before). I'm sure it helps that I do like KH3 and see so much potential in its ideas; I just consequently see a lot of confusing choices and missed opportunities, especially when viewed through the lens I apply to my own work as a game designer. Thanks again! =D

    Marluxia's role in DDD

Where does it say his power is sleep other than him using is on Sora that one time in KH3? And where was it said that Marluxia spent many years in the Realm of Dreams? I've never heard of this. The reason Marluxia still is in Organization XIII is due to the Ancient Keyblade Legacy that Xemnas mentioned.

Elia sniffled, looking up into Henry's brave, determined face. Her smile was infectious? It delighted her to hear this, and yet it tore at her heart painfully. "Henry . . . why . . . ." The raven-haired fairy fell to her knees, gripping the ground as sobs shook her entire form. Many were grieving, whilst others simultaneously rejoiced at the return of their precious sacrifices. Everyth watched in horror as Henry gave himself up. She extended a hand, its wrinkles fading before her very eyes. Youth flooded through her body, her spine straightening as her white locks turned dark once more. "Henry," she whispered, unable to make it to his side before he was gone. A tear rolled down her cheek as she watched the Source of All Life fade from existence, and Henry with it. Carefully she brought a hand to her chest, chin lowering. "You've taught me how to be human again. You have shown me courage, compassion, love. And you have even saved me from death, at the cost of your own. Thank you . . . Henry." The human princess let out a yelp at about this moment, the weight of a person crashing down and bowling her over. In a tangle of auburn hair and limbs, Athena found herself looking face-to-face with her beloved knight, whom she squeezed with all of her might. "ARTHUR!" she returned, as though the two were in a squeaking match. "You're here! You're alive! Oh, I'm so sorry. In my sacrifice I had to give up ever seeing you again! I made you vanish . . . didn't I?" Clearly, she was clueless about Arthur's own sacrifice, giving up his humanity so that the rest f the world may be saved. Meanwhile, Yevgeni stared down, incredulous, as Nergal begged for forgiveness from the others. "I wouldn't go that far," he drawled, shaking his head. "We're the villains. They're going to execute us, lock us away, or worse, banish us to the depths of Isopolis and the torments within. We do not get happy endings. They won't forget our crimes that easily, nor should they." The blond noticed Aqua fold her arms, seeming exasperated by everything that went on that day. He couldn't help but laugh. "Someone who looks how I feel," he said, before offering her a smile. "Come, you're going to have to seek apprenticeship from someone else after all of this. Your mentor has failed, and I do not think we will be able to practice our magic like we once had. I am sorry." A frown furrowed his brow, as though recollection suddenly hit him. "But I realize that I owe you something. Wasn't there something that you sought from me, before we arrived here in Isopolis? I do not know what will become of me, but seek me out and I will do what I can to help you." ----------------------- As the warden of Isopolis, Soren would know how to guide them to safety, out of the depths of the Forbidden Shrine and back on to the island whence they came. They would find that the halls which they once crossed had changed, everything anew and foreboding. And yet, it somehow had an order to it, which Soren would show them through with ease. At last, adventurers, it is over. To get here you have had to endure hardships and suffering, and yet despite that some of you have found love, joy, warmth, and friendship. Life isn't about the destination, it is the journey, and how you embark on that journey is what brings that life meaning. You have accomplished the impossible, the restoration of the human world, and have erected a new era of unity and peace between the human world and that of the fey. It has been a long journey, and the road to recovery will be longer even still, but in allowing your hearts to guide you, you will surely find your way home. ~*~Epilogue~*~ It was a momentous occasion. The halls were decorated with great splendor, and Kilkis Seres was flooded with tourists. Today was the day that Jynn Venas, the crown prince of Kilkis Seres and son of Shiva de la Alexandria, was being coronated and officially recognized as the true king. Three weeks had passed since the events in Isopolis, and everyone was processing it in their own way. Elia stood meekly among the crowds of people, though her normal warmth and joy was not present that day. She would smile when people would comment on her dress, or try to praise her heroic deeds on that fated day. However, it was a false smile, as no joy spread through her heart. She could not celebrate when she was grieving the loss of a friend. A hero. A warrior, who sacrificed himself so that his comrades could be whole once again. Earlier, she had wished upon Rufus, asking him to restore Henry. The djinni had done his utmost, and yet Henry was nowhere to be found. Athena stood alongside Arthur, wherever he may be, grasping his hand tightly and offering him a warm smile. "Imagine this being you one day," she said playfully. "That is, if you succeed in receiving my father's blessing . . . !" Other faces, too, were present at the coronation, one being Everyth Castanova, who stood silently on the sidelines, as well as King Alderon, who was exchanging jokes with Draksis, if he were there, and Alastor, if he were listening. Yevgeni Malachite was not present, though his whereabouts were not known by the majority, nor did the majority care.

Truer words were never spoken. Hype can be extremely dangeorus for any form of media, especially when the wait is super long like with Kingdom Hearts 3. The more time passes, the more people develop theories, opinions, ideas, attachments, you name it. This also leads to a drop in logical thinking when excitement starts to dominate people's thought processes (this usually happens after the title in question is announced to be in development). I've said this several times, and I'll say it again. At a certain point, a highly anticipated title enters a stage wherein the hype is just so high that no title can ever hope to live up to it. As a result, when people finally get their hands on it and their countless theories and ideas are disproved, the disappointment is so much worse than it should be. I would also like to point out that other games in the series had a response similar to this one upon release. I'm pretty sure KH2's fan reception wasn't super high at first, but once people started thinking about the game's events and characters and how it all came together, the game gained a strong reception. People need time to come down from the high of anticipating the game, as well as some more time to recover from the disappointment. This results in the return of logical and realistic thinking. I imagine that fan opinions of KH3 will improve in the next few months, once people have time to process the game's events. I certainly don't think it will retain the intense hatred some fans are giving it.

IMO -- the gameplay and the Disney stuff are pretty enjoyable, but the Square/main stuff is definitely a mixed bag (quite a few parts are indeed BS).
  34. 4 points
well that's a very personal opinion for sure.

Yes, but many retailers need to get authorizations from their parent companies or internal heads to sell. So things like EBGames and GameStop can’t just sell anything just because they get an email. They have to make sure all their ducks are in a row so to say. Sony and Microsoft have their own authorization channels they have to utilize to enable digital downloads to begin. Basically just because one part of an organization gets the go ahead from a publisher, doesn’t mean that they’re able to tell everyone in control of distribution to go ahead and allow sales early. It has to go through specific channels, which can take a few hours to even a couple of days from the initial request. Edit: Game for those in the UK and other regions that might have it in my examples of retail stores, sorry I don’t know many other regional game shops. Also they have to deal with their computer systems themselves, and there’s also the marketing concerns and events that have to be considered which might cause people to take issue with moving back the release dates. It’s actually a massive logistical situation even if they have the inventory already

    KH3 HUD Icons Art

One of the many constants in the KH franchise has been the use of the head icons to represent the character you're playing as, along with your teammates. Up until 0.2 all of these head icons had come in the form of drawings, but this would change as the franchise moved onto new engines and evolved its overall style. Some really like the new and current 3D head icons, while others are sadden by the change. I personally don't mind the new take but kinda miss the old style as I felt it was part of giving KH its unique identity. As a fun exercise I thought it would be fun to try and use the KH3 concept art for Sora, Riku, and Kairi and turn them into head icons similar to the ones we used to get. As a fun bonus I also made one of Master Xehanort using one of BbS's promotional artworks as a base. I hope you enjoy, I sure had a lot of fun making them!

Learning ASL (American Sign Language) has been on my bucket list forever. I've seen how happy people are when another person shows that they can communicate using this, and I would love to be able to offer this as well. If this is for spoken languages only, though, I would love to learn Bulgarian. I already speak French, so I have no real need to learn any more languages. But one of my coworkers speaks Bulgarian and it sounds so cool. Japanese would be nice to learn too.

While I get the desire to know more about the motivations of the antagonist, I sometimes don't need to know everything because each answer can make new questions surface into an endless cycle, like a child asking 'why?' for every answer given and demanding even more detail. At some point we just have to accept that not everything can and will be answered without drifting off into territories which are simply not important anymore. To be honest, I am absolutely fine with Xehanort not needing a motivation but rather hearing a story and a prediction for the future and wishing to fulfill it. Might be simple, but not every villain needs to have a terrible past to justify their behavior. Sometimes it's the characters who do things just because they can that are the most interesting. Not to mention that it wouldn't surprise me that he knows about those means through the stories his master told him. No Name was basically hanging on the wall, too. I don't need to know how it got there in detail, considering Keyblades can be passed down. Still, I also wished to have more here and there, especially for those parts which are likely not going to get picked up again in the future. I agree though that the hate is very excessive and not all of that seems justified in my opinion. I saw a lot of hate which wasn't formulated in a way of legitimate and civil criticism but rather just ranting about every single little flaw while praising the glorious KH2. I love KH2 but I find it hard to criticize KH3 for something and then proceed to compliment KH2 for the same procedure in the very same sentence. It's nonsense to insult one game for empty areas but claim they were so much more alive in the other when in reality, they weren't. I remember people complaining about exactly that issue back in the day and suddenly KH3 is that much worse? Just to give an example. Every game has flaws. I have no issue with addressing them or seeing them addressed, as subjective as most of them tend to be. But what KH3 is suffering from are the high expectations and all the fan ideas what the perfect conclusion should look like which is simply impossible to achieve. Which is not to say that KH3 doesn't have flaws galore. Just as all the other games had. Speaking for myself, it's not actually worse or better than the rest of the franchise but simply falls in line with what Kingdom Hearts has always done, both in negative and positive aspects. I think most of the hate stems from overblown hype and expectations and a huge blindness resulting from nostalgia. A lot of fans compare it to the numbered titles which they have first played years upon years ago and quite frankly, nostalgia is a powerful force which lets us forget the issues we would have seen if we were to play it now for the first time. There are things I don't like, things I would have most certainly done differently, and there's no denying that they may have tried to do too much and lost focus of what they actually wanted to accomplish, but for me, the game is still a Kingdom Hearts title at heart. But no one can tell me that they hated every minute of it. And that's where good reviews can be told apart from bad ones. Regardless of score, they should always mention the good and the bad. No game is perfect but in this case, I find it hard to believe there weren't any enjoyable parts either. I hope that what some of the others are saying comes true and that the initial disappointment because SE/Disney didn't cater to a lot of people's overblown demands dies down a little and that they can see things in a little more diverse fashion. Flaws as well as some opinions can't be changed and I won't blatantly disregard them either, but views do change over time in all directions for the more subjective points. For example, the pacing of the KH titles will forever be off for me as I structure my stories differently, but I still enjoy what we get, despite longing for more coverage of the original plot lines and character exposition. I personally decided not to take part in too many discussions and just keep my enjoyment quietly to myself and my closest friends. I won't let my overall positive feeling be crushed by unnecessary hate which completely ignores the same issues in other KH titles. One does not have to be ignorant of the flaws to ultimately enjoy something after all. In the end, most KH games had their outrage. A lot of the fans have just forgotten what they initially disliked about the other games they celebrate even more now and I think the same might happen to KH3. Or do I have to remind everyone of all the complaints the extremely long prologue of KH2 received? The barren rooms at times? How disconnected some Disney plots were from the overall plot? Atlantica? How a lot of fans criticized mashing triangle for fancy moves they otherwise had no control over? Or how the story also only picked up more around the 50-60% mark? Cutscenes following after taking a few steps for things which really weren't all that necessary? And so on and so forth. I remember that clearly. But a lot of that criticism apparently is now forgotten with acquiring a new target. In the end I'd say let the people hate the game as much as they desire. Just like you can't tell others to see the flaws, you won't change anyone's opinion if they have made up their mind. For those two extremes, there's seemingly no option for a civil discussion and I'd rather not get involved with unnecessary bashing or over the top glorification. In the end, it only matters what you personally thought of it. There's always the possibility to take other opinions into account to look at it from different perspectives but if you feel uncomfortable about it, there's no use in trying to talk something worse that wasn't bad to you just to fit in. After all, likes and dislikes are personal and if you enjoy something, I'd hold onto that. There are tons of bad news and stressful situations out there that you don't need to deliberately ruin something for yourself just to understand those who hate on the game, especially when you were mostly content. It yields much more enjoyment to prevent needless arguments and just love the games you do and only discuss it with those you feel comfortable with. Games are made to be fun. If it wasn't, then too bad but at some point, it's easier to move on if it only upsets them. There's little pleasure to be found if they can only talk about the bad and that's why it's sometimes easier to just indulge in your own fun and keep away from negative outbursts. As much as I cherish the franchise, it's still just a game and I don't need to get into arguments over this if a friendly discussion is impossible from the start.

I'm just along for the ride. To be honest I never thought Kingdom Hearts was a well told story. I love it for the characters really. They were the main reason I got hyped for this game. Now that doesn't mean I accept bad storytelling, as I'll call out something if it doesn't fit. But I am use to KH changing it's plots around. Nothing they have done so far has offended me in terms of these retconnings. I'm just playing to see the characters and their cheesy and corny power of friendship

Day 24: I love all the trio but Sea Salt Trio is definitely my number one favorite trio of them all. As I said before in one of my previous comments in this topic, the Sea Salt Trio are my favorite because I absolutely love the story and character development between Roxas, Xion, and Axel. One of the reasons why I love Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days was because the game develop the friendship between Roxas, Xion, and Axel from beginning, middle, and end. You get to see how their friendship was form, developed, and tested. Throughout the whole game Roxas, Xion, and Axel had been through so much with each other. They get along, they have fun, they argued, they reconciled, and defend each other. To me outta of all the trio in the Kingdom Hearts series Roxas, Xion, and Axel have the strongest friendship as a trio. That's why I love the Sea Salt Trio and I hope to see them again in Kingdom Hearts 3. I hope those three get a happy ending and of course the others as well.

It was really funny and a bad marketing. Lol. Seeing the KH fan reaction in the Amazon chat was hilarious.

They better bring all the original worlds back. KH3 wouldn't feel complete if we won't get to play in Radiant Garde, Twilight town and Traverse Town
