Went on 4Chan to check stuff out and apparently the leaks are indeed fake, and have been posted multiple times. "he's been changing his leak every couple months posting under the same image. He messed up by claiming simba isn't a summon in one of them and completely forgetting about the MoM box every time he posts it" - quote from a thread best to stay vigilant just in case though -

Thank you for throwing yourself into battle for us. Really though, I did not expect them to be true but with leaks being a reality we've got to deal with, it wouldn't be a surprise if something would be posted way before the 25th. The Monstropolis leaks at least had a more credible source with the public server actually being there (though we couldn't be sure it belonged to SE), and images of the quality that were shown would be hard to recreate. But I guess I'm exceptionally cautious for anything story-related. If we think about it, a lot of fans will probably have guessed certain things right since it's not the first KH game and there are theories galore, but claiming it's a leak has me cautious to read it because it's hard to determine whether it's true or not without reading it but you can't erase it once you did. I would also be careful at least 1-2 weeks before the release date. Many people know of ways to get the games earlier through contacts or some stores just not caring, and if the games are meant to be on the shelfs on time, they would probably come in earlier rather than at the last second to manage that reliably. 2.8 was out a week earlier in most western countries because stores didn't care about the release date and there are always those who receive earlier copies and then go online with their Let's Plays, Playthroughs, etc. That's how it was with 2.8 and I doubt they can stop it occuring for KH3... For example, I know the owner of a really small store and even his orders usually come in 3-4 days before release and he sold me copies because we're acquaintances. If someone is in the industry or connected to it, they will get it earlier than the 25th/29th and not all of them are opposed to spoilers. -

Even if this leak is obviously fake, that shouldn't stop most of us from be careful around leaks especially now that we're so close to release. Most leaks of this caliber are usually fake, but there still that slim chance that there might be a leak like the one that spoiled the Monster's Inc. world too early. It's best to tread with at least some caution. -

Having read the leaks so y'all don't have to, and reading over a few different forums here and there, it sounds like wishful fan-fiction at best and straight up trolling at worst. I wouldn't worry (to the curious) about these being in any way legit, plus apparently the leak that everyone is talking about today was posted last week and no one paid any mind. The real leaks to worry about are the ones that come in the 4 days between Jan 25-29. Anything before that take with a grain of salt. Stay away thou if you don't want to take a chance, they say you give a monkey a typewriter and it'll put out Shakespeare eventually.. -

So far, only the leak with the assets and the screenshots was real but after FFXV got leaked many months before its release, I'm not taking any chances either. Trailers and worlds are one thing because those were something we were meant to see before release anyway, but story is a huge nope for me. -

But she hasn't voiced her for years. Asking her first, someone who had to abandon the role, would be a slap in the face for the person who has been recast. It's not disrespectful because she doesn't own the character and frankly, Disney/SE can't wait for people to get better if said person is suffering from a condition where no one knows how long it will take and what kind of effect it will have on her performance. It may sound cruel but for them, a recast is very likely final. I think it would be disrespectful to Stoner to move back and forth just because Hayden Panettiere is better again. After all, they had to cast her with the intention of becoming the new permanent voice for Kairi and not as a temporary stand-in because Panettiere's condition is one of those where you don't know how long it takes to get back on track. They may even have a contract with Stoner based on that. I have a lot of sympathy for her situation and her condition. It's not like she could do something against it very quickly, but it's not disrespectful for a company to decide on someone else and ask that person again who is available and did not just get back on her feet. Let's put it differently. Imagine you're working for a company. One of your colleagues gets sick with no set date when they can return and you get handed the project they've been working on because they can't wait for their return. Now you're working for it, may have even done something for the next step and suddenly, your co-worker is better and gets offered the project again, even though they haven't worked on it for years, completely disregarding you. Wouldn't you think that's disrespectful to you as well? I think it's okay if you prefer Hayden over Stoner, but it's really not disrespectful to go to Stoner first instead of Panettiere, considering she's been out of the picture for years. 2017 wasn't so long ago as well and by that time, I think the main cast was already decided on. It doesn't matter that she's been part of the games and no one is diminishing her work for them either, but they had to move on. It has nothing to do with disrespect but rather being respectful of Stoner who had jumped in when Hayden couldn't.

So two more trailers left! That's good because I think we don't need any more trailers in January. Plus, I rather have more interviews in January before the release date. So pretty much the playable worlds and playable areas in KH3 confirmed are... Olympus (Hercules) Twilight Town (Original) Kingdom of Corona (Tangled) Arendelle (Frozen) Toy Box (Toy Story) Monstropolis (Monster's Inc.) The Caribbean (Pirates of the Caribbean) San Fransokyo (Big Hero 6) 100 Acre Wood (Winnie the Pooh) Realm of Darkness (Original) Cloud World (Original) Nomura's Favorite World (Original) I'm really excited to see the new trailers and I'm hoping for one or two more New World announcement in one of those trailers, especially the movies with princesses. However, I'm keeping my expectations very very low. I don't want to hype myself and then get disappointed in the end if they didn't reveal a new Disney or Pixar world. But if that's all the Disney and Pixar worlds in KH3 than I'm happy with the World Roster we got. Well except 100 Acre World. I'm very excited for the new trailers in December, but yeah I'm keeping expectations very very low. -

I'm not one of those people that can sleep during a car journey so I don't think I'd enjoy it much - but breaks would make it easier for sure. One of my siblings went to Uni in Sheffield actually. Anyway I'm probably rambling on a bit now lol. Welcome to the site ?

I respectfully disagree about images, gifs I can understand from a bandwidth pov. Signatures are more often than not somebody's stamp, and so many of them are custom made. Plus, you'll render @Weedanort signatures thread useless ? I do love your sig btw -

I'd like to apologise for my past behavior

So, I'm pretty sure I first logged in around development of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, & some of the things I said were not very nice. Of course, this is because I was new, & I was scared, & one thing that everyone needs to know about me being autistic is that I'm not always aware of my actions' cause & affect, I truly do not mean any harm. It's just that I've had to deal with a majority of personal things in the past, like getting picked on at school more than twice, moving from Monroe to Baywood Heights, fearing I may not see my friends again, as well as the death of my Golden Retriever, Daisy, in 2015, & even losing my grandmother in 2017 due to terminal cancer. Now, my cat, Justin has a tumor on his right-front leg that's starting to burst through his skin, & he'll be treated on Monday, but even then, I'm worried about whether or not we have to choose between amputating said leg, removing only part of the tumor, or even as far as putting him to sleep, just like Daisy. So, with that in mind, even though that's no excuse, I still would like to apologize. I'm sorry. -
