I don't want to get rid of Disney. That's part of the magic of Kingdom Hearts. I just want the Disney/Pixar elements to matter and play a larger part in the overall story. I think KH3 did some elements pretty well, such as Vanitas using the screams of the Monster inc world to revive himself, the replica research and how they tied it to Toy Story, Baymax, and even kinda Davy Jones with the whole "being able to be active with his heart and body separated" thing. I wanted deeper relevance for sure but I wouldn't say they were irrelevant.

That’s the brilliance of the Lingering Will. He seems unbeatable at first. You keep get bodied with every match. But then you start noticing patterns. You start actually getting a few bars down. The more you go at it, the possibility of beating him keeps getting closer and closer. It took me what felt like 80 times or more.

Good luck! Which game difficulty are you playing on? I really like the data battles in KH2FM. Not too easy, but not too hard either. Roxas is pretty easy actually, you just have to remember his different moves. Hint: guard ability is your best friend in this fight. Ah yeah same. I’ve never managed to defeat that thing, lol.
