It does kinda suck they have made Maleficent such a joke villain. She's still cooler then half the original villains honestly. This just makes me feel bad for her when I should either be intimidated or finding her awesome and cool. I'm hoping KH3 does something interesting with her that't not her being just a puppet again but I doubt it.

I don't see her as a "Joke" in the overall series except for KHII where she was left kinda behind. I think she regained herself in her BBS, Re:Coded and DDD role although not as much as in KH1. For me this is comprehensible since I believe Nomura intentionally did this to let Xehanort be the real villain of the series, such in a way, that even a great evil force as Maleficent was used as a mere pawn by him. I don't see her as a lesser villain but this really put MX in a higher...

Yeah I guess there is potential for 'mini-worlds'. In fact, mysterious tower could be one of them rather than being attached to TT. I guess we'll know for sure by the end of January

Green Sparrow Nomura did say there were a few Disney worlds left. He did not say how many more, but that should mean at least two more.

That's right Merilly! Zimomo I know it's hard for the game story to end before KH3 but at least the parts that are to be discussed in KHIII should appear before to get the maximum understanding but my point is that the last original story update was the Leaders entering the Foretellers room, before that it was Lauriam appearing and the logo of the game being presented, which in the KH series appears mostly at the beginning.

So yeah, time is passing and we have quite a while with no story updates for the game's story itself. On the other hand Nomura DID say that we will reach a entirely new world in the series and from there the story would move totally forward and kinda fast, maybe it's because of that comment I'm so unpatient :v

I really hope it does pick up the pace a little. I recall that he said a similar thing about season two starting a year back or so when it was renamed and we haven't seen anything particularly groundbreaking since then, as you said. Though I guess they will have to if they really do plan on having KHUX's presence noticeable throughout at least portions of KH3. Can't do that without any important updates, right? Let's hope for the best.

Yeah, but will they release the english version with the game on January 29th or before? That's what I'm wondering. And from what I read, Nomura is thinking about putting it in KHIII but it's not official yet.

It’s coming to the Japan website around this month and probable to be included in the game! It’s been said for an english version to “not be recorded yet” so that confirms it some way
