Sora smiled at the girl he loved, his eyes locking onto her. "Just when I thought you couldn't get anymore beautiful," he said softly, looking at her standing in the flowers. She was stunning right now, wearing casual clothes and lingering amongst the flowers.

Lightning was confused about the feelings that impacted her heart--feelings of hurt. She briefly glanced over at Riku, but all she saw was the smirk. If those weren't his feelings that impacted her heart, then were they her own? Why'd she feel them? "Right," Lightning agreed after a moment, her gaze returning to Sora and Kairi. "No problem."

I'm glad they're coming out with stuff again! It's been, what, three years since Awake came out? And that album was a bit of a disappointment... American Noise and Sick of It don't blow me away, but they're better than the last album so we'll see if Rise is going to rise up to be the next Comatose or Collide. (:

It's interesting that X has a lot of parallels to Christianity (you know, with the main villain being named "sin"). Then one god--Yevon, being evil and all that. But as a Christian, I can say I really don't care that they have a lot of Christian parallels and an evil god. Stories always have some higher being being evil, so they're bound to have gods as villains every now and then. The games aren't a critique on religion itself; I think in X it's a critique of ignorance. Not all people who believe in a god are ignorant, despite what many people seem to think. X could critique religious systems too, but it's not a direct attack on Christianity for me. It's an attack on Yevon. X is its own universe--it doesn't have to line up with reality.

By the way, I didn't watch the video. Just sayin' my thoughts.

I don't think it's anti-religion so much as it is anti-institution. A major recurring theme in Final Fantasy is taking down a power structure and promoting individualism, so in the case of things like Yevon, it's not so much that it's a religion so much as it happens to be in a position of power, and is abusing said power.

The theme of spirituality is actually presented in a very positive light, for the most part. If anything, the religious aspect seems to be the thing that falls victim to villainous forces. The Ancients who protect the planet are destroyed by Jenova, the Espers are made victim of technology and corruption, etc.

Well, Vaan especially got on my nerves. He was just so dimwitted and I didn't see why he was a part of the story. Then the game involved so much running around that it was easy to lose track of the story because the length of time between events. Since I play games for the sake of a good story, that was why XII frustrated me so much.

FF VII. I've played all three but I enjoy the story of VII the most. Maybe because I played it before those two or because I just like the characters a whole lot.
X and XIII are my next two favorites.

Very true. Basically everyone in the KH universe went through a major change in a year. How did Riku's hair get so long?! And height differences! Way too much for a year. That always irked me.

And don't forget all of the great songs in the game such as this

    and this

Sure, the soundtrack may not be as good as the KH games or maybe even FFVII, but it still holds a special place in my heart.

It's not too popular, but it's one of my favorite Final Fantasys. From gameplay to characters to storyline, everything was just incredible. It was different from the two more scientific Final Fantasys before it, so I think that's why it wasn't received as well and was considered below VII and VIII. I'm a big fan of VII as well, but for different reasons than I love IX. They're so different I can hardly compare them. But I'll say this: IX made me cry. VII didn't. So yeah, I love IX a lot. (:

Brotherhood is better if you prefer a deeper storyline and more heroes to follow. The older series is better if you like bawling your eyes out because it will break your heart and give you many many feels. Personally, I liked Brotherhood better for the story because it didn't have any fillers and it was just more intense. FMA is a more touching story emotionally. So depending on what you like more (epic story or emotions), you'll like one series over the other.

I'm absolutely freaking out. About time a game focused on Lightning again! That's why we wanted a XIII-2 in the first place, to give her a happy ending. And since SE botched that up pretty badly, at least they'll (hopefully) fix that with this game. I just hope some of the told characters return. Caius was too good a villain to disregard.

Peanut got a reaction from Number XV in Zelda vs. Final Fantasy: Which has the better music?
For me, it's Final Fantasy. But that could be because I have a more emotional connection to the games and that helps me notice the beautiful music more. With Zelda, it's rare that the music becomes anything but background noise. Fitting background noise, but still, I don't often listen to a Zelda song outside the game unless it's this one:

"Oh, oh!" Sora exclaimed, rushing over to the free chair. "Shoot a portal to the upper left area!" He was getting into this game now, stalling from their true purpose of coming here. He wanted to see them beat this level, so he plopped down in the chair in time to hear Serah tell him that the area he was referring to was where they just came from. Oh well, at least I tried to help.

"Hmph," Lightning hummed with a small smirk of amusement. She got to him, apparently. Why wasn't she surprised that he walked away from her? First off, she knew she wasn't the easiest person to get along with, but she knew there was also a problem from his side. She already realized he had quite an ego, and if she insulted him and called him paranoid, it was going to annoy him. Oh well; she didn't regret it. Now she could eat her lunch in peace.

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows more deeply in disgust at Riku's wink, and his comments. This guy had a serious ego, and some illogical conclusions. If he thought this was such a serious threat, why was he only starting this Guardian Corps thing now? Still, he looked like he was leaving instead of observing in this class, so she'd gladly let him leave. Hopefully she wouldn't have to see him again.

"You seem like you're not okay," Light said softly after a few moments without moving. Riku was quiet, and clingy. She knew she was the one to scoot closer to him just now, but he was the one who held onto her so tightly when they were still on the glider. Did she miss something, or was he just upset about all that occurred with the villains?

You're one of the few people I've seen who are in favor of the battle system being more like KH. I'm sure there are plenty of KH fans who feel the same, but a lot of purely FF fans are complaining because it's not like the other turn-based battles of the old days (XIII ran into a lot of criticism for that). And yet FF fans who are excited for the game say that Versus will take it back to the roots of FF. If anything, it's the opposite (as proven by the battle system). Fans with that line of thinking make no sense to me.

I feel like I'm the only person who isn't hyped up about the game. Yes, the graphics look terrific from what we've been shown, but so what? Why are people so excited for a game that we've been told about for years, yet we know almost nothing about it? You know, I think I may be anti-versus just because of all the undeserved hype it gets.
