I enjoyed listening to your arrangement of "Dearly Beloved. I thought that the orchestration that you used was nice. The addition of new melodies to the piece created an interesting polyphonic texture in several areas of the piece. I thought your use of the brass section at the beginning of the piece was different. It added more of a maestoso feeling instead of the traditional soft beginning we usually hear at the beginning of "Dearly Beloved." I also like how the flute played the main melody along with the piano as well. What kind of cadence did you use to close the piece? The only aspect I would have liked as an addition to your arrangement would be different dynamic levels. You can create a variety of expression and drama through the use of different dynamic levels. You did have a decrescendo from forte to piano at the end of the piece, which I enjoyed. Anyways, nice job keep up the good work!

I am currently a music major in college right now. I am working on getting my bachelors degree. I plan to teach music in schools and privately once I have my degree. I hope to share my love of music with the world, and show others how music can have a positive effect on their lives. I am a music major student currently trying to earn my Bachelors degree. My areas of interest are music education and music therapy. I am hoping to earn a doctorate in music someday. I want to show people how music can be an enriching experience, whether you are learning how to play an instrument or simply listening to it. I would also like to explore how music can be used as a form of therapy for patients. It is going to be a long road, but I think it will be worth it in the end. :smile:

I got Aqua, which I would agree is a fair comparison to my personality. I was satisfied with the overall structure of the quiz, because it was not entirely predictable.

Congrats on your five years here at KH13! :biggrin: I have not known you for long, but I am sure that you have grown as a person throughout your five years of hard work. Even though you may have made some mistakes along the way, you learned from them right? I think learning from your mistakes made you a stronger person. We usually had fun conversations, even though you could be a bit immature sometimes. :rolleyes: Your work here is appreciated and I hope that you will continue to work hard in whatever you do in the future. Me and my family always wait until Christmas to open our presents. I love to see their faces when they see what I bought them. Even though it is not much I think they like their presents. :happy: -

Quite honestly if I could have absolutely anything I wanted for Christmas I would want a Yamaha p-155 keyboard. :happy: I really enjoy playing the piano and I could use a new keyboard. However, it is just a wish because they are too expensive to ask for. I will just have to earn the money for it.

I usually try to do my best when I want something. For me most of the time that is achieving a goal, like playing a difficult piano piece, receiving good grades, or saving up money for something special. ^_^ -
I mostly use the internet for research for my college homework assignments. When I can I like to watch videos on Youtube, especially anything having to deal with music.

That's quite an accomplishment for KH13! I am sure there will be many more members to come in the future. I am happy to see that despite how many members are present, everyone is treated like they matter and that there are people here who will listen to them. I think you should take a moment to reflect and think about all of the things you are grateful to have. We tend to take many things for granted and don't realize how truly blessed we are. For example, most of us take for granted that we have a place to live, food to eat, clothes on our backs, or that fact that we may be without an illness like cancer. Also, most of us have people we can turn to when we are down like family, friends, and KH13. Just the fact that we all have a computer or a laptop is something to be grateful for. When you feel like lonely you should talk with a friend or hang out with your family. Trust me material things are not important! Material things will eventually break or become obsolete, but the relationships you form with the people you care about will last forever.

To use the chat system all you have to do is click on the chat bar on the bottom of your screen. Then a list of all the members currently available to chat is shown. All you have to do next is select the member you would like to chat with by clicking on his or her username. Now you are already to chat, just type your message into the text box and press enter or send. Then most likely someone will message you back and you can chat. You can also select the options button and request that you are offline of you are currently unavailable to chat or you just don't feel like talking. I hope this helps, have fun chatting!

Yes, I usually obey my grandparents because they love me and because they are wise. I love my grandparents, they have always treated me with kindness and shared their wisdom with me. ^_^ I also think you should try to respect your elders.
