A* students are overrated (Y) Congrats what are you looking to do next?

Work has began on the PS4, but they won't announce anything til they have truly ground breaking technology to present, but since development is most likely underwraps, I could see (and fear) the game might be released alongside the PS4 (if they have made a lot of progress and just aren't announcing it yet) as one of the opening games. Hopefully they're just at a concept. I hope its not released though. Although I love Sony, I only was able to buy a ps3 the start of this year when i'd been saving up money from my EMA after I got a laptop. I won't be able to just go buy a PS4, thus I wouldn't be able to play the game for a good while (probably years tbh unless I manage to get a job, which I've been failing at). Even sony has said the true ability of the PS3 hasn't been achieved yet, so I think they should take advantage of this and make KH3 on a console people are more likely to have since it's been out 6 years and can be bought (used or new) for around 80-120 quid, whereas the PS4 would be more 400-500 pound mark. I don't have that laying round for one game.

Old post, but I just had to point out remember in KH1 the Keyblade chooses Sora (instead of Riku who inherited it) when Riku choose the darkness. It's the light within Sora that allows him to wield it.

Well the next game will be about the Keyblade War, and maybe if another one is held Kingdom hearts will reform? I know it disappeared after the first, but still... Only near logical way I could see for it to just suddenly be there

Ah, COM is the one game I haven't played (want the re:make but need to mod my ps2) so I don't know much about replicas, just that Xion was basically data and discounted by most Organization members as not existing. I haven't read it but it sounds interesting o.o I literally got the idea of breaking out from kairi to fight if kairi were to fall from re-watching the videos, when she transforms just before fighting, but I have faith that Kairi will actually be able to fight and not immediately transform so I got the whole battle scene in my head I think she would be amazing with magic, but due to the reasons I've mentioned before it's just so easy (for me) to see her with the keyblade, like the fan-made one (Lunar Eclispe) that was in this video. I could also see her though fighting with a book... Like Zexion? But that's just stealing his weapon now, tut tut. I don't think the scene (or one similar to it) would happen in the next release, cause it's what i'm expecting but I think it would be good in one title, or once in the game near the end after we see her capabilities, maybe he could have Kairi's fight A LOT of enemies and maybe nearly becomes comatose (like in KH1) where Namine steps in to save her. It's be nice for me to see Namine save Kairi ^.^ But I really think that the whole scene I picture is just wishful thinking for me, if anything Namine would probably come back and just work in a tournament area replacing a moogle ): EDIT: I could also see Namine just stepping out and using a sort of holy shield to block an attack at Kairi, smile friendly at her and disappear after, a much less prominent roll. Either way I wanna see a GIRL fight like this, with a wing of keyblades. It looks too awesome to not play it

True, just think how powerful normal keyblade wielders are, a POH who can use one I think would just have extraordinary results

I understand what you're saying, though Xion has no heart and was nothing more than data yet she could weild the keyblade so I think it'd make sense for Kairi's nobody to have that ability too, but I'd rather if she had it see her use it more as a staff with magic. Since she is a nobody of Kairi, and Roxas is the nobody of Ven/Sora it seems logical to me for that to be her weapon, maybe a Paint Brush/Pencil styled keyblade and when she slashes it either paint of crayon temporarily appears (much like the way skulls appear in halloween town, music notes with SoS keyblade etc) I still think it'd be awesome to see either Kairi or Namine fight like this, after rewatching the video (I saw it months ago) and finished 3D I think it would be pretty neat for Kairi to be hurt (I really sound like a Kairi basher and she's my favourite female ) and for Namine to step out, and fight, even if it's just one battle. It would be fun, least to me, to experience that (: I think if Namine was to become a full on brute fighter though, she'd need more of a story where you see her struggling to overcome her fragile state of being and developing her own self (and ability to not be so easily manipulated): possibly by becoming friends with Kairi and being able to feel. Maybe by being merged with Kairi, she will experience and learn from some of her training while she's with Yen Sid. I think it's inevitable for Kairi to fight, even partially in an up-coming game (Namine fighting is purely my wishes and imagination gone wild ) considering the secret ending. I think it's about time she actually learnt how to fight and defend herself, cause it was ridiculous that Axel could "kidnap" her by simply dragging her by the wrist effortlessly. I think it could be possible for Namine to be possessed, if she becomes her own self and allows herself to be easily malnipulated, but Kairi, no. Exactly if she knew she could wield a keyblade early on, she could have at least put up some sort of fight against Axel kidnapping her and surely with this wonderful keyblade she could unlock the bars that confined her in the cell. It's nice to see Kairi-fans! So many people started putting her down before they even saw her training I wonder if maybe cause she inherited the keyblade from a Keyblade Master, if she would get a special power or be a quick learner with her training.

That would be interesting to see as well. Though many of the moves that were used in this video could be considered magic based (floating keyblades that fly like lasers for example, reminds me of the Raid attacks)

It's not a game far as i'm aware, it's a fan-made fighting series with characters from Dead or Alive and Final Fantasy. They're pretty great videos (: I think it's no.4 you first see Kairi in it (: I think it'd be great if Kairi could pull something like this off in the next game, so many people have no hope for her it's be an underdog story Yes, I love Aqua, but there are 7 male keyblade wielders (quickly counted in my head, may have missed someone) and 2 girls (Kairi and Aqua + a replica who I wouldn't really count unless she comes back as her own self), so more girl wielders is good

The first time I played I did standard and just went on, to see the game and what it was like. The second time I played I levelled up on the island thinking "those friking heartless will be so easy if I level up here fighting Riku" Got to level 13 I think before I got bored. I also tried playing the games with cheats (I have a cheat disc) so I started with full upgraded health, mp, all synthesis items (so I got the ultimate weapon), highest level he could be (can't remember if it's 99 or you could go into the 3 digits). Was fun playing with the ultimate weapon early on.

It's Kairi. Looks like she's in beach wear (bikini top and floaty skirt covering the pants). Which makes sense. Since she's like. Near a beach.

It's a pretty good game, though having played KH2 first myself, I found it lacking in comparison to it (which is expected though since I played the newer, shinier, most technology advanced sequel before the first game). But it's still worth the play (: Traverse Town is irritating though, when you first try to find Donald and Goofy. Spent ages with nothing ._.'

I liked DJ but it wasn't my favourite, but I think if they made a HD collection of KH1+2, it wouldn't make sense to have it left out. There'd just be a gaping hole since I know it's meant to be there. I was thinking that. Could have finished the world a lot faster with flow motion

We haven't really seen Namine fight, so who knows what her fighting style could be like if she tried. And seeing as Roxas can bear the keyblade cause Sora could, maybe Namine can do the same since Kairi can weild one. I think it would be nice in the next game if Kairi was playable, if she was to get hurt or feel depleted she'd transform into Namine to fight similar to this. Though she would be very over powered I think, still would be an awesome addition to have more female keyblade wielders

It has to be Disney-based mainly cause they're making the games in collaboration with Disney, they won't have the rights to use anime worlds or anything unless they pay for them (hence why there's not gonna be another Tarzan world, the rights were stripped away from the family)

I think KHIII is next (after reading, hoping a lot that it is ) but I don't think it'll be the last game in the KH series. Just cause it's the end of Xehanort, doesn't mean they couldn't create a new evil for future games. It could do a Zelda and have the ending send you into an alternate universe where you battle ice cream and all heartless work as dress makers. Who knows.

I agree completely, I found out about Axel's getting the keyblade before I even got the game and was disappointed, I love him but his weapons were so awesome, and when you saw how he also fought with 2 frisbees in BBS it just made the chakrams suit him more. ): And even if Kairi isn't gonna be a guardian of light, I hope we get the chance to fight with her. Maybe if all the POH had some training in fighting they wouldn't be so easy to kidnap and used in the antagonists plans ,__,

It might be risky of him to do that. Considering so many fans who got the first games on release and have been waiting for KH3 since the end of KH2 6 years ago are already aggravated and annoyed by the side games, especially when they keep releasing them on new platforms not all fans have the money to buy. I think though even if KH3 is next, it won't be the last Kingdom hearts game, just the end of Xehanort.
