square enix put up another announcement today reminding people that the game will be undergoing maintenance on 10/08 from 10AM to 4PM JST. it looks like you'll have to update the application itself after this maintenance is over, and they urged everyone to back up their accounts just in case an error occurs.
 
you can back up your account through square enix's cloud service, square enix bridge. my apologies for constantly linking my own blog, but i have a brief tutorial on how to do so over here!

Okay no problem

I have a pretty good feeling Oath would be more helpful than me, but what the heck. When's the deadline for me to type everything out?The basic layout for my little fanfic is basically: emotionless defender is assigned to princess, breaks multiple parts of an oath to uphold another part, is in a constant state of debating if it was a good idea, gets mad, hurts princess, realizes what he's done, tries to right the wrong, fights himself [in a sense] and eventually is forgiven and given a lecture on the heart, life, love, etc...If you're no longer interested, then I understand xDIf you still are... Well I guess I better start cracking at a keyboard

Actually, I think that's who it's supposed to be! 
Since KH uses younger versions of FF characters a lot, that would make sense. Even if it is fake. 

best 11 years of my life

I've been playing since the very beginning, though in actuality I never owned a Kingdom Hearts game until a couple years ago when I bought 358 for the DS. I always borrowed the original Kingdom Hearts from my cousins when I was little, and by the time I was old enough, I realized that there were Final Mix versions released only in Japan, which really hampered my motivation to buy the English games. So I bought all of the spinoff games in the meanwhile to make up for it. (besides DDD) 
 
Of course, then I learned that there was a Final Mix of Birth By Sleep and...well, I kind of put off Kingdom Hearts for a while. 
 
Then 1.5 came out and my interest regrew and my love for the series continued as I was finally able to witness the Final Mix for the first time, and can't wait for 2.5 to come out. 

I've only been playing since Summer 2012.

This Christmas will make 11 years for me! ^^ Man I miss the old times

All 11 years. I've been there since the start, and I'm still going just as strong, if not even stronger! I now own every game released in the US except for 1.5 HD ReMix, which I plan on getting soon. It's been a great 11 years, and I've been able to watch the series grow since the very start.

Basically all except Beast's Castle. His story is already over, he turned back into a human during the credits for Kingdom Hearts II. There's pretty much no reason to go back to that world, even if it would have been fun to see Gaston, the guy who can no one can do anything like.

Nice theory It could actually work!
 
Then again it may be an inside joke... Or
 
MAYBE THE SECRET DOOR ACTUALLY LEADS TO THE FF UNIVERSE AMD THE DRAWINGS ARE JUST THING WE WILL FIND IN THERE, A CHOCOBO!

So the other day, as I'm playing Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD remix, I noticed in the secret base on Destiny Island there is a crossed-out Chocobo drawing on the wall. I stared for a good while, and asked to why that was there. I remember reading a doujinshi about Sora finding a baby Chocobo, taking care of it, and paying attention to it instead of Riku. Sora even drew the Chocobo on the cave. So Riku (due to his jealousy) actually killed the Chocobo (well he in-directly killed it, he lead a cat to it and the cat attacked it). That maybe one reason (or fan-fic reason) as to why that Chocobo is there. However my theory is a little bit different and may make more sense. The reason why I think that Chocobo is there is that Sqaure Enix was originally gonna be put a Chocobo in Kingdom Hearts. Maybe due to time restrictions, it didn't fit in the KH universe, or its a inside joke. But in the end, the only related Chocobo is the Metal Chocobo Keyblade. 
 
 
So what do you think of my theory? Do you have your own theory? Or do you know why its there?

I'm just replying to say that this seems like a detail that has some purpose: like a Hidden Mickey or something.

OMG. That's awesome and the game looks fantastic! Thanks for the update!

I just got finish testing the new game and though I upload some of the pictures I took. 
 
I took some video too, but there in poor quality. After a while playing, every time I were to enter into battle the game would buffer. Then the producers of the game said on the board that a game error has occurred so I stopped playing after that. 
 
Other than that I really enjoyed the game. Can'y wait til they fix the error to go back and play again.

That's great news, but still no word on an American or Europe release. Come on Japan share your Kingdom Hearts mixs with your good friends.
