  1. Well, what can I say? "Dark Road" was a fitting name for this story, with a very sad ending. However, there are a few things to comment:

1º) Almost everyone died in the end. However, I'm pretty sure we will see them again somehow. If we consider the case of Strelitzia, who turned to be alive on KH IV's trailer, anything should be possible.

2º) 13 Darknesses: 7 (the most powerful ones) inside the Lost Masters, 4 trapped in the cable of Wreck-It Ralph's data worlds, and 2 destroyed. This last one is a lie, as we now one survived inside Ventus and eventually became Vanitas. But how about the last one? It was the darkness that corrupted Valdr? I'm confused about that.

3º) Not surprised from the fact that "Bragi" was actually Luxu. I mean, "Bragi" is almost identical to "Braig", who then became "Xigbar".

but we have no idea how they're going to address them yet

We have the Four Elements living together in the same world/city. That's what it has been revealed for now and sounds a lot like what happened in the Avatar's series; more closely what happened in Korra's series, because benders of all 4 Elements lived together at Republic City.

Not really as @ocean's rage previously mentioned the four elements of Water, Earth, Fire and Air existed long before Avatar: The Last Airbender so this is nothing new.

I know the concept is way older than "Avatar", but the way this new movie seems to address them reminds me of the way they did it on "Avatar".

So Yesterday, Pixar announced their 27th Animated feature called Elementals, where the synopsis describes a city where fire, water, land, & air residents live together, a fiery young woman & a go-with-the-flow guy will discover something elemental: How much they have in common. So basically "What if the elements have feelings".

This could make an interesting world for a future KH game, and Sora could have an air elemental form for his world form if he ever visits it, but it's likely that this film is going to be saved for the next KH game over Kingdom Hearts IV.

I don't know. Isn't this very similar to Avatar? You know, the Four Nations of the four elements living together in harmony or something.

Also, the name of some characters in KH could already reveal their elements: Sora is "Sky" (air), Kairi is "Sea" (water) and Riku is "Land" (Earth). Just the same as Ventus (Air), Aqua (Water) and Terra (Earth).

That's not quite accurate IMHO. Things don't exactly cap off happily in KH3's Pirates of the Caribbean world given that Will and Elizabeth are left forced to mostly be apart and Sora's definitely the type to have wanted to fix that for them somehow, but he doesn't get a chance to from the devs. IMHO if a world is meant to have a less than happy or even a tragic conclusion they're going to let it happen regardless of Sora and co being inserted into the equation.

The ending of PotC 3 was definitely sad, but not as much as the one from PotC 2. As far as I see, the other two movies, IV and V could work as future adventures of Sora.

Yes actually he could. They've done stuff where they cover multiple points in time for a world. I.E Beast's Castle (After the events of KH1 we see what Beast and Belle are up to in their homeworld in 358/2 Days (there is a reconnaissance mission with Roxas and Xaldin in this game where Xaldin first gets the idea to turn Beast into a Heartless so the organization can recruit his Nobody) and then we get the aftermath of the events from 358/2 Days in KH2).

Then there is the absolutely blatant example of how they couldn't be bothered to care about jumping around timeline wise featured with Pirates of the Caribbean where they skip an entire film between KH2 and KH3's takes on that world. Also this is a series entrenched in time travel and world line shenanigans at this point so it wouldn't even be surprising if Sora ended up meeting both a young and old version of someone. Heck Xehanort himself says hello many times over on that front.

The Pirates of the Caribbean's thing is understandable. I mean, the second movie had a bad ending when the Kraken devoured Jack and the Black Pearl, taking them into Davy Jones' Locker. If Sora would have been in this movie, he would have definitely changed the movie's ending, no matter how much the rules forbids him from doing so. And after seeing Jack Sparrow perish, he wouldn't have left the world until he rescues Jack. That's the kind of character Sora is, don't you think?

  7. After what it was revealed about the possibilty of Endor in the trailer, and considering the high quality of the new graphics, one thing is for sure: In this side of reality, Sora will have to visit CGI worlds or Live Action worlds. The groups are like these:

    1º) Disney Live-Actions remakes:
    + "Alice in Wonderland"
    + "Maleficent"
    + "Cinderella"
    + "Beauty and the Beast"
    + "Aladdin"
    + "Mulan"
    + "Dumbo"
    + "The Lion King"
    + "Christopher Robin"
    + "The Jungle Book"

    > Ironically, Sora would have counterparts of some of the original Princesses of Heart: Alice, Aurora, Cinderella, Belle and Jasmine. Missing only Snow White and Kairi.

2º) Disney Worlds around "alternative realities":
+ "Lightyear" around the reality of "Toy Story".
+ "Ace in Action" around the reality of "Chicken Little".

    3º) Worlds "Not-So-Disney":
+ Worlds based on the games of "Final Fantasy", like Midgar from "FF-VII".
+ Worlds based on Star Wars' places (like Endor).
+ Worlds based on MCU's movies (like "Marvel's Avengers").

  8. As long as Sora goes back to his classic self once he returns his own worl, I have no problem with this change. I mean, he really looks great, but too "real" in my honest opinion.

What bothers the most, however, is the fact that he looks TOO much like Yozora right now. Don't tell me you haven't noticed how much Sora looks like Yozora with this look.
