For anyone who was hoping that this would come to the Switch, there's still hope! The developers said that they'll port it over in the future if there's enough demand.
As long as Xenoverse 2's Switch port does well, I'm sure that we can prove that Nintendo fans want this game too. I was hoping for a Switch version from the start, so I'm really excited to hear this since it's the same exact thing the developers of Rocket League said and that's now been confirmed!

What kind of game is this one?
Oops, sorry. It's a platformer and a sort-of reboot of the original Blaster Master game on the NES. It's a retro platformer with some more modern conventions mixed in too (Controls are tighter, it's a lot more forgiving than a lot of older games, etc.). It also has some pretty cheap DLC that lets you play as characters from some other games published by the same company (Azure Striker Gunvolt and Gal Gun to be specific), and they both have completely different playstyles from the normal protagonist, so I'd assume that adds more replay value as well. I haven't tried them out yet, but they both look really fun to play as.

Adding in a couple others:
Fire Emblem Fates - Yeah, it gets a lot of hate from series veterans, but I really enjoy what I've played of Fates (Finished Birthright, making decent progress in Conquest). I consider it to be a step above Awakening in terms of gameplay mechanics, and while Conquest's story gets a little frustrating with how dumb Corrin is sometimes, I liked Birthright. Some people expect every game to have a super deep flawless story, but I thought Fates was fine in terms of writing. Not the most emotional story ever, sure, but I liked it.
Blaster Master Zero - I just picked this one up today on the Switch, but I know it's also on the 3DS. I've been having a blast with it so far (pun intended). It feels like it'll be a little on the short side, but it's pretty cheap and there's a new hard mode that was recently added in too.

Definitely all of the Xenoblade 2 news!

I'll add to the above recommendations with the Dragon Quest games. I haven't gotten around to picking up VIII yet, but VII is a complete remake of the original Dragon Quest VII on PS1 (Dragon Warrior VII outside Japan), and it's an absolutely incredible RPG.

I really can't wait! I'd much rather have Sly 5, but I'll be happy to see a show too, especially since they said they're aiming it at fans of the original games along with kids!
Huh, I never knew that Sly had faded away from popularity. I always assumed that the next sequel was just being kept under wraps!
So, a cartoon, eh? That's pretty awesome! I'm sure that it'll boost Sly back up into popularity, and then it won't be long till a fifth Sly is announced!
It's been said that there are no plans for a Sly 5, so odds are that the series could have just ended off on the cliffhanger ending 4 had if this cartoon wasn't being made. Sucker Punch stopped caring about it after 3, Sanzaru got the rights and made 4, and now they don't want to make a fifth. Hopefully this can get popular and make them change their minds.

As if Xenoblade 2 wasn't enough, Nintendo had Kirby, Yoshi, a mention of Pokemon on the Switch, FE Warriors, Mario Odyssey gameplay, and, of course, two Metroid games! No one else brought in as many exciting games as Nintendo did.

They hate any of their franchises having a fan-made game
Actually, they would have taken it down even without the game being in development
They were pretty generous with AM2R, given that they waited for the game to be released and have a day or two to distribute before shutting it down. At this point, people have made all sorts of mirror downloads and pretty much everyone interested in the game has it by now. And Nintendo isn't the only company that shuts down fangames, it's something that has to be done to protect their IPs.

Oh, great... Advent Children Cloud, my favorite version of the character... at least that's just in story mode, I guess.

From Nintendo:
Xenoblade 2 (duh)
Super Mario Odyssey
Yoshi
Kirby
Pokken
Metroid Prime 4
Metroid: Samus Returns (Already pre-ordered the special edition!)
Rocket League
Pretty much everything else they showed except for Rabbids, not touching that.
Sony:
Spider-Man
God of War
Dragon Ball FigherZ (Not in their conference, but I'll get it on PS4 anyway)

Your avatar says your emotion .
Yeah I missed Crash and Spyro. Although I'm expecting CTR in 2019.
My favorites were Monster Hunter World and Skyrim VR.
Crash was in their pre-show.
-
The worst part about this is that the gameplay looks solid, but I despise Rabbids and they were totally unnecessary in this. Why not have it be a Rayman crossover instead of bringing in the gaming equivalent of Minions?
-
I haven't noticed any bugs (other than the playtime clock reset; not complaining about that one). What happened in your copies?
Multiple crashes, awful loading times, and frequent audio skips are the most memorable.

Well, uh... that just happened? Zelda/Skyrim stuff was cool, but... not much else I can say.
-
"Kingdom Hearts III is canceled. There will be no further news."
-
Are they actually going to fix any glitches, though? Because if not, then I'm still not interested.
-
The game will receive a closed beta for PS4 and Xbox One players this coming summer, with more details to follow soon.
I was hoping this would be on PC as well, since I doubt I'll have a PS4 by then... Oh well.

I wasn't really all that happy with the trailer, but I do like that the party size has been expanded to four. Having to kick out Donald or Goofy to bring in a special character was really annoying, I'm glad that's fixed now.
Sendou Aichi reacted to this -
Actually, it is "DragonBall FighterZ" as in "DragonBall Fighters with a 'Z' instead of an 's'" because of course a DragonBall game would use that pun, I'm surprised it hasn't been done before already.
Anyways, that trailer:
VEGETA
WHAT DOES THE SCOUTER SAY ABOUT THIS GAME'S HYPE LEVEL?!
YAAAAAS BITCH, LET'S F*CKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Holy smokes, baloney, fudge and mustard, stop the presses, stop the internet... I gotta say something about this.
My God, that was intense. Every goddamn thing in this trailer on was on-point, I don't give a damn about what anybody has to say.
The graphics/art style looks exactly like-no not even exactly like, it looks better than any of the anime or animated movies or whatever that has come out of the series proper. It is gorgeous to look at, it uses that 2.5D perspective that the dev team is known for, and everything from movement in-game, in cutscenes, just to posing for something, it looks clean af, man. And the gameplay itself? Even if it didn't go as crazy as it could have for a DragonBall level fighter (in the time it was allowed that is, it is just a less-than-a minute and a half trailer, not much you can do about that), it looked hard hitting, especially combined with the ki blast deflection, the dashing, the attacks, particle effects, 3v3 action, and of course, the goddamn ultimate movie cutscenes, which again, clean af. And on top of all that, we have confirmation that there will, in fact, be DBS content with that small snippet of SSJ3 Goku fighting Golden Freeza.
Oh, be still my beating heart. I need the Dragon Balls right now because I need to make a wish to make the year of 2018 get here right now.
I saw it written both ways, wasn't sure which to go with. ._.
Either way, I agree. I love the art style of the game, and it looks fast-paced and really, really fun. A lot like Extreme Butoden (which makes sense given it's by the same team), but with a lot more polish and even crazier things to do in battle. I really can't wait to see more footage of the game, because what we've seen already is fantastic! I really can't wait until it comes out... although I'll still need to get a PS4 to play it.

If this makes the games playable, then I might look into this version. I have the PS3 collections, but they're so buggy that I lost the drive to keep going in them. I'd love to get them on PS4, but save crashes are an instant no for me.

There is no II.9!
There is, there was an E3 leak involving it. The logo leaked out, too.

The trophy list for the trilogy has been released, and it looks like they hint at what the announcement will be. I'll keep it in a spoilers tab for now.
It looks like Coco will be playable alongside Crash in all three games! Each game has a trophy where Coco must use a special move five times. I get the feeling that this is the teased announcement. Given that multiplayer was teased a while back, maybe there will be co-op?
