The whole situation is cheesy
-
Here we have Aerith writing a song in the literal last minute of chapter 12 before the date, and then somehow is allowed to sing it in the literal last minute with zero preperations
-
Having the voice actors actually singing won't change it being more cheesy
-
And I am saying the whole situation is cheesy from the beginning
-
It doesn't matter if Brianna didn't want to sing, it was a decision by the directors and I honestly think it was a dumb one
-
An actor having to sing isn't a farfetched thing, especially as a one time thing
-
Yeah and in this game you have had Yuffie singing constantly, and so many characters humming the theme song, or characters voicing as monsters
-
Yeah it absolutely is, it's why it's a qualification as an actor too
-
Sucks for the voice actor if they have to sing but that's part of their job if they get it
-
All I said is that Aerith having this angelical voice that doesn't sound anything like her in any dubbing is a dumb way to do it
That's cheesy too but in a bad way
The whole thing is cheesy but it's all about how you do it
-
I don't get this comparison at all
-
I never said it was or wanted that
-
Would have added to the charm 🤷
-
He was really annoying in the first DLC
-
Ugh
-
Yeah then I would just prefer the lip syncing version instead of this
Ah well
Not like it was bad or anything, just didn't find it to fit as well
-
That's true
-
Yeah I was hoping for that
Apparently in every single dubbing
Aerith just magically knows English out of nowhere
-
For the first tweet I kinda wish
it stayed in the ending. I honestly found the whole thing to be so cheesy and not in a good way like the rest of the game has done.
Like if the whole thing was like the original where the stage was just some cheap props and cheesy dialogue then yeah I would be more fine with it. Especially it would fit as Aerith just makes a whole ass song in the literal last minute and is somehow allowed to perform it. Here while everything is still cheesy dialogue, it's insanely high production value and I honestly found it to not be a good fit.
I also would have preferred the actual voice actors to sing the song at least during this part and have the actual singer for the ending. Aerith suddenly having that voice singing just did not fit. In the trailers I thought she was lipsyncing and I so wish that was the case here

Nah you can still move around in the beginning. It's when you hit a certain point while travelling where it's a no point of return
-
You can finish off the proto relic quest now
-
KH4 won't have the same expectations
-
KH3 had a two decade build up to it's release and then kinda bungled it
-
I am not expecting KH4 to sell as much as KH3 did

It absolutely was, at no point before did we see her prepare a song
