It absolutely was, at no point before did we see her prepare a song

The whole situation is cheesy

Here we have Aerith writing a song in the literal last minute of chapter 12 before the date, and then somehow is allowed to sing it in the literal last minute with zero preperations

Having the voice actors actually singing won't change it being more cheesy

And I am saying the whole situation is cheesy from the beginning

It doesn't matter if Brianna didn't want to sing, it was a decision by the directors and I honestly think it was a dumb one

An actor having to sing isn't a farfetched thing, especially as a one time thing

Yeah and in this game you have had Yuffie singing constantly, and so many characters humming the theme song, or characters voicing as monsters

Yeah it absolutely is, it's why it's a qualification as an actor too

Sucks for the voice actor if they have to sing but that's part of their job if they get it

All I said is that Aerith having this angelical voice that doesn't sound anything like her in any dubbing is a dumb way to do it
