  1. I definitely agree with you that there must be some significance with those Keyblades that have the eye of darkness in them.  However, I don't think that the ones who wield those Keyblades are going to be the ones who become the thirteen seekers of darkness.  The black cloaked figures that we see at the end of Dream Drop Distance already had Master Xehanort's heart in them.  So, why would Master Xehanort choose not to go with them, but with completely different people?  Since most of them have not been revealed yet, it is possible that some of them are the Foretellers, Luxu, or the Master of Masters, and that Master Xehanort got to them the way that you suggested that he did, but other than that, I don't know about him using the Keyblades that have the eye of darkness in them to find the rest of the seekers of darkness.  How do we even know that all of those Keyblades currently have Keyblade wielders that are wielding them, since we only saw them after Sora, Riku, Terra, Aqua, or Ventus obtained those Keychains?  It might sound like I am just being negative, but I am just pointing out where I think that there might be holes in your theory.  I do think that it is a really interesting theory that you came up with, though, and you may be on to something with those Keyblades.

  2. I was surprised when I watched this teaser trailer on YouTube, because, after reading the comments, it seemed like a majority of people were actually looking forward to the movie after seeing this teaser.  A lot of them even pointed out how they weren't interested in this movie until they saw this teaser.  I was just surprised, because I was expecting to see pretty much nothing but hate in the comments.  Maybe this movie will end up doing better than everyone thought.

  3. I loved absolutely everything I saw in the trailer.  The only thing that I might have had second thoughts on when I first saw the trailer were the enchanted objects, specifically Lumiere, but after watching the trailer a second time, I loved them too.

Really, if there was anything that I don't understand, it is the fact that people keep complaining about how the Beast looks.  The two complaints about him that I have heard the most are that the CGI for him looks bad and that he looks too much like a goat-man.  In my opinion, I don't think the CGI looks bad at all, and I don't think it matters what the Beast looks like as long as he looks like a monstrous animal.  Maybe it is also because I am usually a little more open to different interpretations of characters and stories that I don't care about the way Beast looks all that much.  The good thing is that the appearance of characters seem to be the only things that people have been complaining about so far (that I could find), which means everything else must look good to them.

  4. Even though things may seem dark and uncertain as of now, all of you have to stay strong and keep faith in the one known as God, whom you all humans believe in! Have faith that he will guide you through the darkness!  And who knows? Trumpy might not be that bad, but we won't know until he's actively working full time as president! Transcendent is afraid of what the future might hold, but at the same time, he has faith things will turn out okay in the end! So that thinking should apply to you all as well! Even if the country flips itself upside down, try to stay right side up and smell the roses! For every bad thing that happens, there eventually has to come a good thing to light up a person's hope, am I right?

I don't think that I can say anything more than what you said right here.  So, I will let Stephen Colbert say something instead, because I think that this is one of the most beautiful and American videos that I saw come out of this election that I am sure will get everyone's hopes up:

  5. I have looked at pictures of every Disney castle from the movies, from the parks, and from Kingdom Hearts that I know of, and none of them look like the castle that appears in this cinematic introduction.  I don't know if I am just seeing it wrong, if it is a redesign of one of the castles, if it is a new castle, if it is just some random castle that Square-Enix made for the cinematic introduction that isn't actually important, or what.

Yes, there are some similarities to known Disney castles, but none of them look just like this castle.  To my knowledge, there are no Disney castles that I could find that are on an island surrounded by water with a stone bridge leading to it, has towers with no spires, is surrounded by a wall with many spire-less towers on it, and has its tallest tower in the front center of the castle.  The Disney castle that I think has the most similarities to this castle is Cinderella castle in Walt Disney World, which many have pointed out already.  However, there are still some design differences, and it looks like parts of the castle were switched around and put in different places.

But that is just the result of my research.  I could be wrong.

  6. I don't mind it that much.  It's more of a game to explain to us why things are the way they are.  As a Kingdom Hearts fan, I really liked finding out the reason behind a lot of what had happened in the previous games as I played BbS.  I still think we got good characters and a good story.  It was just approached in a different way.

The game also is meant to introduce us to the true main villain of the series.  To me, the way the characters were handled in this game showed us just how dangerous Master Xehanort is.  From the moment the game started, everyone (except for Aqua, who just found herself stuck in the middle of everything until the end when Xehanort used her to push Terra over the edge) was a pawn in Master Xehanort's plan.  He had the entire thing planned out, and it almost worked, which I think can sum up all of Xehanort's plans in a nutshell.  He may be a brilliant man that has backup plans for everything, but they never end up succeeding in the end.  It's like Ansem the Wise said, hearts are unpredictable.

  7. As many have already pointed out, we were told that there would be no new Kingdom Hearts III news until after Kingdom Hearts 2.8 is released.  We were also told that the most recent KH 2.8 trailer that we got would not be the last one.  There is not much time left until KH 2.8 is released.  So, I think that we will get another KH 2.8 trailer, possibly the final trailer.

I suppose it is possible that a collector's edition for KH 2.8 will be announced, but I personally think that they would have announced it by now if they were going to announce one.  So, while a collector's edition for KH 2.8 may still happen, I think that a new KH 2.8 trailer is the most likely possibility, if we get anything new at all, that is.

  8. All of them!  The one I want to see return most is Twilight Thorn.  I think it would be really cool if we fought Darkside and Twilight Thorn at the same time!

Also, even though this will probably never happen, I think it would be really cool if we saw World and Chaos and World of Nothingness appear in the final battle (or close to the final battle).  It would make Sora (and whoever else is with him) feel even more epic and powerful if he (and whoever else is with him) got to defeat both of them at the same time!

  9. I don't think anyone wants a remake.  If anything, people want more remasters.

I think that the definitions for "remake" and "remaster" have become confused.  The definition of "remake" according to Merriam-Webster is "to make a new or different version of (something, such as a movie, song, etc.)".  The definition of "remaster" according to Merriam-Webster is "to make a new copy of (a recording or film) with the sound or image improved".

For years, people were begging Square-Enix for a remake of Final Fantasy VII.  Finally, Square-Enix gave them what they wanted: a remake, making a new or different version of the game.  At first, everyone lost their minds and were super excited because it looked just like Final Fantasy VII, except for next gen.  Then, once everyone found out how different the remake of Final Fantasy VII would be, they all started saying, "We didn't want this!  We wanted the game to remain exactly the same.  All we wanted was improved graphics and sound (which is the exact definition of a "remake")."  Except that's not what they asked for.  They asked for a remake, not a remaster, and they got what they asked for.

I just felt like I had to point this out so that people aren't shocked if Square-Enix does end up making a current gen remake of Kingdom Hearts, and it is almost completely different from the original.

  10. I think that they should do a combination of Dead Man's Chest and At World's End.  They are the next two movies in the series and (to my knowledge) are the most well known of all the movies in the series.  However, I don't think that you could cover these movies individually unless you changed them or did a combination of them.  Those two movies are basically just a part one and a part two of story that wouldn't make sense if they were told separately in Kingdom Hearts.  It wouldn't work to just do Dead Man's Chest since this is supposed to be the final chapter of the Dark Seeker Saga, and it wouldn't work to just do At World's End because of how the movie starts.

If you can visit the worlds twice like in Kingdom Hearts II, I think that the best thing to do would be to cover Dead Man's Chest during the first visit and At Word's End during the second visit.

  11. I guess it's not necessarily a full game per say, but I am saving up for the LEGO Dimensions Year 2 packs.  We just started getting new Story Packs, Level Packs, Team Packs, and Fun Packs.  Not to mention we are also getting new Adventure Worlds and Battle Arenas.  I have always been a fan of the LEGO videogames, and so far LEGO Dimensions is my favorite one of all.  Tt Games normally puts a lot of detail into their LEGO videogames to make them as faithful to the source material as possible, but they have really gone above and beyond with LEGO Dimensions.  Everything that has been released for it so far has been great, and I can't wait to see what's next.

  12. First you have to find medals that pack a good punch, like KH II King Mickey or SP Axel. My main keyblades (Starlight, Treasure Trove, Lady Luck and Three Wishes) are all level 20-21

What I do is always have a buff medal for strength in the first slot and then I distribute the medals according to the multiplier in the slot. I also keep one medal with a special attack for a single target and the rest is for all of the enemies.

And of course, grab the most suitable friend medal to use ( don't get the buff and debuff ones, their special only lasts for their own attack, since the round finishes right after you use them.

That's pretty much what I do. I've finished mission 450 and only 10 quests aren't complete with 3 Mickeys.

    I have three questions:

(1.) Do you keep one Medal with a special attack for a single target in addition to the buff Medal?

(2.) Did you do anything special to your Medals?

(3.) Did you have to spend any real money to get your powerful Medals?

  13. Spoilers for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]:

At this point, I think that the traitor can be literally anyone.  The point of this post is to give reasons for each of the foretellers, Luxu, and the Master of Masters being the traitor.  I hope that this can spark discussion on who the traitor is.

First off, in the end of KH χ, here is what Gula told us that the Book of Prophecies said about the traitor on the lost page (or at least what Gula revealed to us about the traitor from the lost page):

    Unable to permit disharmony,

you will be disappointed by fate,

and lose sight of true strength...

    Misreading the truth,

you will venture forth in secrecy...

Gula went on to tell us about what the sign for the beginning of the Keyblade War will be, but I don't think that is connected to who the traitor is.

Before I focus on the individual characters, I would like to point out something that most of them share:

It seems as though all of the foretellers are "disappointed by fate".  So, I think that we see that fulfilled in each of them.  I don't think that we have seen that in Luxu or the Master of Masters though.  At least, not yet.

Now I will focus on evidence we have seen in each of the foretellers, Luxu, and the Master of Masters that could point toward any of them being the traitor:

    (1.) Ira

In the two latest KH II.8 trailers, we have seen Ira talking with the Master of Masters.  This could be Ira venturing forth in secrecy to talk to the Master of Masters alone.  Also, in the newest trailer, it seems that Ira is talking about the seven guardians of light saving the world.  It is possible that, since all of the foretellers, Luxu, and the Master of Masters working together equals seven, that Ira was trying to convince the Master of Masters to work together with all of them to prevent the end of the world.  In other words, Ira might be "unable to permit disharmony".

    (2.) Invi

In KH χ, after the Player's first encounter with King Mickey, we see that there is someone standing on top of the roof, presumably watching what is happening.  Some people have already pointed out that the design on the bottom of the robe matches the design of Invi's robe.  In addition to that, in the newest trailer, we hear Ava saying to Invi, "Didn't you think for a second that your actions could be making things worse than they already are?"  Could these two events be connected?  Could Invi have been the one who brought King Mickey to Daybreak Town, maybe in an attempt to fix things?  Whatever the truth about these two scenes are, right now it seems that these could be the result of Invi venturing forth in secrecy.

    (3.) Aced

As we were nearing the climax of KH χ, Aced revealed to Ira and to all of the Keyblade wielders present that he had shifted focus from collecting Lux to collecting powerful Keyblade wielders.  Since this seems to be the first time that he is revealing this, this could be proof that Aced ventured forth in secrecy to achieve this.  He seems to have the idea that only the ones who are physically the strongest will survive the war and rule the world.  This could be proof that Aced has lost sight of true strength.  Also, in the newest trailer, we see Aced suggest an alliance between him and two of the other foretellers, one of them being Ava.  Ava responds by saying, "But alliances are forbidden Aced."  In addition to that, we see Aced grab Gula in the same trailer and tell him, "But we don't even know who the traitor is yet!" Could both of these scenes be Aced failing to prevent disharmony?

    (4.) Gula

In the previous trailer, we see Gula standing alone when he sees Ava and Chirithy run past him and look around.  In the newest trailer, we hear Gula, who is standing by himself, say, "Trust no one but myself."  Could both of these events be proof that Gula is venturing forth in secrecy?  Even more proof of that seems to be that, other that Luxu and the Master of Masters, Gula is the only one who knows what the lost page says.  Could he have found this out by venturing forth in secrecy?  He also said in the end of KH χ that he was keeping his eye out for the sign of the traitor.  Could this also be proof of him venturing forth in secrecy?  Finally, he said to the Player, Skuld, and Chirithy, "I had my eye out for it, but in the end I couldn't stop it.  Maybe I was actually looking out for the wrong thing."  This seems to be proof that Gula misread the truth.

    (5.) Ava

In the previous trailer, in the scene where Gula sees Ava and Chirithy running past him and looking around, that could be Ava venturing forth in secrecy.  Also, the reason that Ava forms the Dandelions, which seems to at least start in secrecy, seems to fulfill Ava being "unable to permit disharmony."  However, she did refuse forming an alliance with Aced, but maybe that was before she became "unable to permit disharmony" and decided to form the Dandelions.

    (6.) Luxu

I think it goes without saying that Luxu ventured forth in secrecy.  We have only seen Luxu appear twice: once in his conversation with Ava in the end of KH χ, and now once in the newest trailer.  He was only seen at all in KH χ because Ava went out to look for him.  It could also be that Luxu misread the truth.  Yes, the Master of Masters told him what he needed to know, but Luxu also knew what the Book of Prophecies said, so it seems very possible that he could have misread the truth, especially because he does not seem to know completely what the Master of Masters wants or what the outcome of his mission will be.

    (7.) The Master of Masters

Unlike the fortellers and Luxu, it seems to me that every line of this prophecy could be talking about the Master of Masters.  Since all he has (to our knowledge) is knowledge on what the future holds or could hold, it is possible that he thinks that he is "unable to permit disharmony", even if he tried to.  Because of this, he could be "disappointed by fate" and, because he thinks that the fate of the world is set in stone, he could have lost sight of true strength, which could explain why he tells Ira in the latest trailer, "You telling me that you think that the world can be saved by just seven people?"  It is also completely possible that he misread the truth and thinks that the end of the world is unavoidable.  Finally, the fact that he disappeared alone is proof that he could have ventured forth in secrecy, but there is also even more proof for him venturing forth in secrecy by the fact that he gave a secret mission to Luxu.  Now, while Luxu does seem to reveal that all of this was the Master of Master's intentions and that he wanted Luxu to make sure that the Keyblade War was fought, it is possible that he felt that all of this was fated to happen, so he made sure that it happened, possibly thinking that it was his fate to carry it out or something like that.  Maybe he just accepted it as his fate, even though he may have been disappointed by that, and didn't think that there was any other way, since it had already been written.

That concludes what I think is all of the possible proof that we have received so far as to who the traitor is.

My thoughts are that Ira seems the least likely to be the traitor to me (at least right now).  I think that Luxu is the second least likely person to be the traitor.  Also, while it does look to me like the Master of Masters could be a strong candidate for being the traitor, I don't think that it is him either.  That leaves Invi, Aced, Gula, and Ava as the remaining candidates for the traitor.  Even though Aced has a lot going for him, I think that it would be too obvious for him to be the traitor.  So, I am taking him out of the running.  From what has been revealed so far, I feel like I should take Invi out of the running, but something is telling me that it still might be her.  So, I am just barely leaving her on the list.  It seems to me like Gula and Ava best match the description of the traitor (other than the Master of Masters), so I am leaving them on the list.  So, for me, it comes down to Invi, Gula, and Ava.  I feel like the end of KH χ really wanted to convince us that Ava is the traitor, but since, to me, it seems like it tried so hard to convince us of that, I don't think that the traitor will end up being Ava.  So, it comes down to Gula and Invi.  It seems to me like the facts are pointing toward Gula, but I just have a feeling that it is Invi.  To me, Invi seems the least likely to be the traitor, which is why I feel like she is the traitor.  She is the only one of the five foretellers to not appear in KH χ outside of the Keyblade War (unless you are a member of her Union), which seems like attention is being drawn off of her for some reason.  Also, the fact that she is possibly the one who summoned King Mickey to Daybreak Town might have something to do with her being the traitor, because who was standing on the roof has not been officially revealed yet.  I don't know how, but something is telling me that it might be.

What do you guys think of all of this?  Who do you think the traitor is?

  14. So Nolan North is the voice of Master of Masters, and possibly Drake Bell (Eraqus??) is voicing Luxu.

Maybe.  I have never been that good at identifying voice actors.  All I know is that the voice from the hooded figure in the previous trailer seems to match up best with the voice of the Master of Masters in this trailer and that I have never heard Luxu's voice in any of these trailers before (to the best of my knowledge).  I am sure that someone will do an in depth comparison of all of the voices from each of the scenes with hooded figures in them that we have gotten so far and be able to tell which character is speaking in each scene and will maybe even take a stab at who their voice actors are, but until then, that's all I can give you.

  15. I'm getting confused by who is who, I know there is Master of Masters and Luxu xD, but the one that was talking to Ira in that one scene sounded alot like Nolan North (the guy that plays Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series). It'd also make sense because Master Ira sounded alot like, Troy Baker, and judging by those two's relationship earlier this year, we can all assume they take a crack at voicing together in BackCover. Gives me the chills thinking about it, both of those guys are awesome voice actors and it's awesome to see them play these roles if they turn out to play as them.

But... again, confused xD I assume Luxu was the same guy speaking to Master of Masters and was holding the Horned Blade. He did sound a bit like Jesse Mccartney or Drake Bell at that part, a shift from Nolan North's tone. I don't know. We're going to have to wait for official announcements from people to see who plays who. I'm strongly thinking Nolan North has a part in this though.

I think that the Master of Masters is the one who was talking to Master Ira in this trailer and the previous trailer.  I think that this trailer is the first time we have heard Luxu speak so far.

  16. I actually think that there is a possibility that it might be hinting at Terra and Ventus becoming vessels for Master Xehanort.  I am not sure that it is, but it seems strange to me that this trailer would show their Wayfinders, with a trail of darkness coming from behind them, falling in front of Where Nothing Gathers, unless it was hinting at something.  Not to mention that it immediately followed with both Terra and Ventus in their possessed states.  So, yes, I think that this may be hinting toward something like that.

  17. We're also assuming that the three new worlds coming to Unchained χ are part of Season 2. What if it's not? What if Unchained χ is basically a remake of χ[chi] with some additional contents like the new worlds? So Season 2 is not confirmed to be releasing in January 2017. What we know now is that Skuld and the Foretellers will be introduced starting January 2017 and will then be followed by Castle of Dreams, according to the letter from the development team (but there's no mention of the other two worlds).

You may have a point.  I decided to look over Nomura's comment again, and he does not say when Season 2 will begin.  What he says is, "The other is a big development regarding the story.  The start of season two is still some way off, but the events leading up to it will begin as main story.  And, to go with that work on three new worlds has already begun.  The third will be a new world starting from season two, and it will be a new Disney world that has not appeared in the KH series so far."

Now that my head is a little clearer, I think that if Castle of Dreams was part of Season 2, he would have made it known when the announcement of the world was made.  He also said that main story will lead up to Season 2, but he did not say that those events will be the Keyblade War, like we saw in KH X.  In fact, this seems to imply that new main story will be added other than what KH X had that will build up to Season 2, but is not included in Season 2.  Finally, it seems like he is saying that Season 2 will begin with a new world that has not appeared in any KH game so far.  So, since only Castle of Dreams has been announced as a new world (unless they are just keeping the others a secret), it seems more and more possible that it is actually not a part of Season 2.

So, the more I think about it, the more I think you may be right.  That being said, I still think that Season 2 has a possibility of starting before the Keyblade War and the other events that ended KH X.  I still think that it does not make sense otherwise (as of right now, that is).

  18. Huh. So I guess Back Cover won't answer many questions then.

Well I hope whatever happens in KHx and KHUx is also summarised in KH3 for people who have no idea about those games.

I think that Back Cover will answer a lot of questions, just not necessarily about Season 2.  However, it is an hour long movie, and since we haven't seen much of them in KH χ, it could also cover stuff from Season 2.  We won't know until we see it.
