How do you think Union Cross and Kingdom Hearts III will connect?

Kingdom hearts ll was the first game with which I got acquainted with this series.
I really liked the story and I always thought it was the best game of the series. Also all my friends believed as well.
However, recently I came across one commentator on Youtube who assured me that KH2 is good only in terms of gameplay, and the plot in it is not very much and that all other fans love this game only for the gameplay.
He also assured me that only KH1 has a good story, and in all other games the plot is bad.
Of course, I did not agree with this and tried to prove to him wrong, but looking for an opinion on the plot of this game I often come across the fact that many (Not all) really believe that KH2 destroyed the series, which made me very sad and upset. I do not even know what to say to the person with whom I started arguing.
And what do you think? Is KH2 really not very good in terms of the plot? Did the history in this game ruin the franchise? And is there only a good story in KH1? For I do not really agree with this, but if most can so consider my opinion, nothing will mean and I will have to go with the rest of the rest. If this statement is not true write, well, if all of the above is really true, then explain why? Maybe I'll reconsider my priorities and I will not be such a hardcore fan.

I would like this to be posted on the community.

Hey!  I should have probably done this months ago, but finally here is my introduction. You can guys can call me Darth, Rev, or Revan if my name is too long. As you can see from my username and profile picture, I am a Star Wars fan as well as an avid Kingdom Hearts, Disney, Anime, cartoon, and video game nerd. I write and draw in my free time. Even though I used to watch my older brother play Kingdom Hearts when I was younger, I completely forgot about the game series until I was about 8-11 years old and I didn't become a KH fan until I was 11. I guess you can call me a Spring chicken. I've been waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 since I was 13 in 2013. So, it's been about a five-year wait for me. My best friend calls me the "Kingdom Hearts Encyclopedia" because I'm always informing him of new KH information that comes out. I'm really shy but I've been told that I'm pretty nice! 

Has anyone seen the film Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg? if so, anyone fancy doing a RP based on the film maybe? i'll make a poll asking everyone if they want the story of the RP to be set before, during or after the events of the film.

Need I answer this one?

So, I've been streaming most of the KH series on my youtube channel, sorakeyblade99, and well, tonight, just a few moments ago, I just finished clearing up Radiant Garden...and attempted to fight Sephiroth at level 40...On Critical Mode. Of course, the first round went about as expected, instant dead.. But the second round...I no damaged the fight. It was a mixture of good blocking, good item use and good use of the trinity limit. I feel so accomplished. 
 
He didn't even get to use his meteor attack, which would have probably killed me. Now, I am not sure if I can link to the livestream from here, or if I have to wait until it's uploaded as a video after, but I will attempt to post it here. No commentary, just gameplay.

Enjoy! This is probably never gonna happen again...at least with me.

So I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, obviously. However, I'm worried that the game will turn out like Final Fantasy XV. I don't want the game to come out uncompleted and have sections of the worlds missing. The only reason I'm worried is because Square Enix stated in their last financial meeting, they would like to move to a system where they release the base game, and add to it in the coming months/years after the game is released. There's nothing wrong with adding DLC to games after it comes out, but if you leave out crucial game-play mechanics, important story segments, and release a "Royal Edition" a  year after the base game, then I think you're screwing over your customers who bought the game on day one. What do you all think? Are you worried KH3 might end up like FFXV?

It's not an opinion, it's actually fact, they did use the Card system as a base, they simplified it and improve it to create the Command deck.

After trying to make the Peter Pan D-Link for a while on Level 1 I just settled for the Spellweaver tactic.  I THINK the Peter Pan D-Link works better on the PS4 version since the PS3 version just loves to slow down.
 

 

So, I beat KH2FM's main story mode, then I just beat all of the data battles & the Lingering Will, & I did the Mushroom XIII before those 2. Am I missing something here, or should the second secret ending unlock? I'm asking here because it seems like someone will be of help. I posted the same thing on the KH Reddit, but as usual, no help at all there.

I need help finding magic upgrades, i need cure to change into cura and i dont know where to get them.

Okay so I just noticed this the other day while I was playing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix collection. Each Absent Silhouette is placed in a specific location for a specific reason. Here are the reasons for their locations:
 
-Marluxia Is placed in the beast's room near his flower because Marluxia's element is flowers.
 
-Larxene is placed on Isla de Muerta in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, because similar to a pirate, she is a traitor to Organization 13
 
-Lexaeus is placed in the Sandlot where the struggle battles are held to determine who is the strongest person in Twilight town similar to how Lexaues is the physically strongest Organization member.
 
-Zexion is placed in the Underworld because he mostly resides in the basement of castle oblivion and uses dark magic and the power of illusions to fight.
 
Now the reason for this thread is I cannot figure out why Vexen is placed in the peddlers shop in Agrabah and I haven't found the answer on google. I was wondering if anyone knew why or would like to discuss why. Also I'd love to discuss the other absent Silhouette locations to see if anyone else noticed this.

I just clutched Armored Xemnas 1 with an Anti-Form that came out of nowhere, lol.

Lately I have been hearing that alot of people actually like re:com, im currently at the alice in wonderland world and i still havent enjoyed a moment of the game yet it just feels boring.

I think maybe the reason that people hated Atlantica was because Sora's skillset was drastically reduced underwater, to the point that he could only use his basic attacks and magic, and not attacks like Strike Raid or Ragnarok and the like, ya know? But given how physics and water work, it would be hard to make Sora use those moves without it looking unrealistic. But then again, this is an RPG, and characters can be pretty powerful whatever environment they are in, ya know?
 
As for myself, I never hated the world. I didn't like the KHI version that much because of what I stated above, because I couldn't use Sora's advanced skillset. But other than that, I liked exploring the ocean, and I loved that clams were the replacement for treasure chests! I also like that there were numerous pathways to explore, ya know? In Re:Chain, it's really nothing more than generic rooms, because of course, being inside Castle Oblivion means the worlds can't actually be recreated to scale with the original worlds, but hey, it's good for leveling up!
 
I actually loved the KHII rendition of the world the most, because it being a musical actually tapped into the spirit of Disney films in general, because Disney films for the most part have various musical numbers in them, so I was pleasantly surprised that Atlantica in KHII took that approach! To me, at least, it was enjoyable, and as you stated, it was a peaceful break from all the action, like the 100 Acre Wood!

Yen Press has delayed the English release of the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days novel to November 13, 2018. The novel was originally reported to come out on June 19, 2018.
 
The novel is still available for per-order for the paperback from Amazon, Barnes & Nobles, IndieBound for $20.00 USD and Indigo for $23.14 USD. Digital copies will be sold as well by Amazon and Barnes & Nobles for $10.00 USD, and Indigo for $12.99 USD. Both versions will be released on the same date.

While checking the secret ending online for the PS3 and PS4 versions I couldn't help but notice that the graphics look generally worse in these cutscenes when compared to the entire game. Aqua is clearly still in her original PSP form... so is it safe to assume that this cutscene was pre-rendered?
