I would have thought being the traitor meant going against MoM's wishes.

perhaps, but so far hes not been shown to do so

You're right. I don't think they died during the Keyblade War. My point was that, if the darknesses are already trapped within them, why not just end them now instead of reawakening them in the future? Unless there's another way to defeat the darknesses without ending the lives of the vessels that is.

Sorry, I messed up. I think I was confused by Brain giving the Book of Prophecies to Ephemer at the end and telling him that it was meant for him. However, Ava still gave the Book of Prophecies to Brain hoping that he could change their fates, which it looks like he mostly succeeded in doing.

That is what the Master of Masters implied, but I wasn't sure if he was being honest, especially since Luxu seemed unwilling to accept the Master of Masters' willingness to sacrifice them all. True, Luxu has been carrying out his role perfectly, as far as we know, but that doesn't mean he isn't planning something in the future. Maybe I'm wrong, but the fact that he told Luxu that the traitor was a ruse, and then called Luxu the traitor after he had left the room and could no longer hear him made me think that Luxu would become one in the future.

well we'll have to wait and see

  2. well was it ever actually clear that the foretellers died in the keyblade war? if not the the darkness inside of them wouldnt have been destroyed. also wasnt stretliza the one who was supposed to get the book of of prophecies not ephemer? ava's role was to form the dandelions so theres no denying she fulfilled that regardless of what else she did. also even though luxu is the traitor he seems to have done everything the master asked him to and the master seemed to imply that the traitor was a ruse to allow the darkness to enter their hearts and luxu only claims to be the traitor in order to start the keyblade war.

I honestly don't see why everybody's blaming Player for everything Xehanort did. Xehanort is a completely different person. In DR, he says concerning the dreams of Player's life:

I don't think he would be saying that if he were 100% Player.

im not blaming the player i just think its really sad that in their next life they hurt so many people connected to their friends

my question is where is skuld

odds are she either ended up in quadratum and became the nameless star or ended up as subject x and was experimented on by the reincarnated spirit of a close friend possessing the body of a close friend of another one of her close friends

And since Xehanort is dead now, does that mean that

the player gets the chance to reunite with the rest of the Dandelions?

yes but none of them will want to talk to them because theyve become a horrific monster

Hey kingdom Hearts is a sad series, sadness, pain, and hurting is a part of it. All good stories have to have some loss.

    no they dont

  6. i hate that it seems the player became xehanort. the idea that someone so good is reborn as someone so evil just does not sit well with me.

and i really want luxu to get a beating that freaking body thief

although as brain was shown ending up in some version of scala ed cailum it makes you wonder if he some how got his body back after luxu stole the next one

so it seems the master's plan has been to use himself and a bunch of others to destroy the 13 darknesses from the x-blade, which i guess means the foretellers may act evil deliberately to goad sora and co into destroying them.

i guess one of those darkness became vanitas perhaps. and if he indeed reabsorbed into ven at the end of bbs when may need to kill ven afetr all

of course this being KH sora will probably find a way to enter a persons heart and destroy the darkness thats sealed within without the need to sacrifice anyone

so does this mean that emphere is eraqus' ancestor or perhaps brain became eraqus after he reappeared?

i guess thats more signs that subject x is perhaps skuld after all but who knows

my thinking is the next saga will be about defeating the 13 draknesses

    This got......pretty heated.......

Well anyway, what I got to say about it:

Yes. Vanitas did bad things. Terrible things. He's a being of pure negativity. But he says himself that he chose to be darkness, so that was his choice, and that's a main factor of why he did those things. There is also Xehanort's influence and all which definitely affected him.

I'm really glad you brought up the importance of forgiveness in your argument. Key doesn't seem to understand a deep forgiveness like forgiving a murderer, but I can't blame them for that, because I myself struggled with that for a long time and I still kind of struggle with it. It's hard to understand and accept.

Throughout the Kingdom Hearts series we see Sora loving and forgiving his own enemies; how he talks to some of the Organization members at their 'deaths' in KH3 is evidence. Despite his enemies kidnapping or hurting his friends, he ultimately forgives them. All of them. That's a huge thing, something that defines Sora.

I totally think that Vanitas can be forgiven. Sora would, and I know he already did.

but vanitas didnt want to be forgiven.
