this is such an awesome guide I think! I'll definitely have to do another run someday too see if I can find them all or not. looking back it now, I honestly find it weird how the original kh never had a treasure chest list, and wasn't even fixed with the final mix version. which would've made the most sense. either way, fantastic work!

this is a very good summary you've written. I have to agree with what you're saying. it definitely can't be easy writing any story and you don't know how people will react to it and their opinion until that product actually comes out. you can't always predict the future sometimes.

As the title suggests.
The tutorial section at the beginning was actually set in the present. Everything from Sora's departure to Olympus, to the disastrous battle with Terra-Xehanort and the Demon Tide was a flashback. In fact, the seven hearts the voiceless narrator is referring to Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Riku, Lea, Aqua, and Ven. And the voiceless narrator could be Kairi's heart.

personally I don't hate it by any means, but it's definitely the game that really turned the series on its head by introducing more new law elements such as time travel and the execution of the Disney worlds felt really lackluster, but the Pinocchio world was definitely the best cause of the different settings for both characters. it kind of contradicts things that happen in earlier games and make them feel really pointless and unresolved in the first place. But without it we would've have III. I love how characters from the world ends with you were included into the game as it was something I never really played all that much but did find interesting. and I hope they reappear in a future game someday too. Overall, this game sent the series down a dark path that it'll never be able to recover from, for better or for worse.

I'm honestly not surprised about this, ever since the final battle trailer and radiant garden not being a playable world, but hopefully they might appear in future games.

Vexen. I don't really understand the hate this guy gets. People think he's a creep, but he's not much worse an asshole than the rest of the Organization. He's smart and has common sense, and he strikes me as a kind of guy who would be respectable on his own merits if he didn't demand it from everyone (then again, considering his coworkers...).

Nintendo Direct got delayed now. But people's lives from an earthquake is more important. Hopefully it won't be too long before it gets rescheduled. Was really looking forward to something for Bayonetta 3.
