FF13 allowed you to rotate between 6 characters and FF13-2 was basically Serah's spotlight. Sure, love seeing Lightning again but, how do you feel about the her being in the third game? On a side note, I felt the series should of finished right before Serah dies and the continuation would be a paradox ending.

Does anyone else think that FF9 was better than FF7? I mean, FF7 was supposed to be the best ever, but FF9's plot just hooked me more, and the gameplay was better. I think the only thing I like better was Sephiroth as a villian. I dunno, something about Kuja just felt... Not right.

Okay, so Final Fantasy Versus XIII is a no show again this year... But wait, a thought! What if all this delay is to generate hype so that Versus XIII will immediately sell well, and generate a higher sales percentage than Final Fantasy VII managed? What if it's been finished for years and we're just not getting it so they can sell more?

Something I've been thinking about is how Garnet seems to have more reason to hate Kuja on a personal level than Zidane. Kuja basically screws her over for her entire life, from using the Invincible on her first home to corrupting her mother to blowing up both her kingdom and that of her uncle. Yet they never seem to delve in to how Garnet feels about Kuja, or how they might relate to one another in spite of having a very long past. Should FFIX have focused more on a Garnet vs. Kuja story as much as Zidane vs. Kuja?

Simple question: which song in Theatrythm gives you the most trouble? For me, it's the Battle with the Four Fiends on Ultimate. My records tells the story: eleven tries, two passes. And I still only walk off with an A grade.

A reeealllly old Final Fantasy tribute video, like FFX was just coming out old. The title pretty much says it all. Was FF XIII-2 really necessary for Square-Enix to make? I, for one, don't think it was even necessary to make a sequel to XIII considering how a lot of people hated FF XIII. However, I do admit that the story in XIII is great and the ending was just perfect. But then they had to screw with the ending and make a sequel out of it. Honestly, I don't see why it was even necessary to even make the sequel if XIII's ending was just fine. if anything, I think all Square did was just add more to things in XIII-2 that wasn't even necessary story-wise. I mean XIII's ending was perfect. No cliff-hangers or anything. it was just fine the way is was. But now look, Square made an unnecessary game, with a new unnecessary character (Noel), and made an unecessary ending that left people wanting to know more and demand a XIII-3. Imo, I don;t think Square should have made XIII-2 because now people want XIII-3.Plus, they decided to make alternate endings in the game that don't even connect to the true ending at all. Which is why the plot in XIII-2 is even worse than XIII. A game with multiple endings in it is going to be bad plot-wise. I learned that from playing Shadow the Hedgehog and StarFox Command. And to tell you the truth, I don't like Noel all that much. He feels like a random FF character to me. He feels like another "Silver the Hedgehog" to tell you the truth.

The producer of the title has confirmed that the game will not appear at the Tokyo Game Show 2012, but that we look forward to it next year. This is the first time we've hear of anything with a date relating to Versus XIII in a long time, hopefully they won't let us down. Not to go off-topic, but I personally think TWEWY2 will be revealed at TGS. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn have been confirmed to appear at the TGS as well and might turn out to be a rather interesting show after all. ---- I had that slight feeling it wouldn't show up. Oh well.

What do people think? Discuss ~ I hear ppl say its gonna be similar to Majora's mask in terms of the 'given X days to save the world' - will it have a time travel component? Time slow/haste component? I hear that the battle system will be changed so that you can move Lightning around during battle as opposed to her prancing around ~ Will Lightning make future KH games? ~ What of Noel, Serah, Fang, Vanille, Hope...etc?? I don't bite (much) ~

All we've gotten about the game is an announcement and a now old short interview which just confirmed it was a remaster. It's not even going to be at Tokyo Game Show 2013. It's a horrible comparison but Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection didn't take long. In fact it was quicker than I thought.

A website has been launched teasing the announcement of something Final Fantasy XIII related on September 1st. http://finalfantasy13game.com/astormgathers/ It's pretty simple, just a bunch of clouds with the phrase "A Storm Gathers" in the middle, and a bunch of stuff talking about how the team is ready to announce something on September 1st. Alright, despite my neverending desire to see Versus before anything else, I'm willing to say that I did not hate FFXIII as much as everyone else did, and I actually enjoyed XIII-2 a lot, since it was definitely a vast improvement over the original game. Whether this turns out to be FFXIII-3, which seems likely given the incredibly open ending of XIII-2, I don't know, but let's hope Square knows what they're doing.

This is to raise awareness for the game FF Type-0. It is an awesome game that has currently been unannounced for Western release. Since it's announcement, we've had this. And this And this And this And not this... Even then, at least we've heard about Versus on and off.
