  1. So this is just a little simple suggestion I have for maybe the next Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer coming out in the future that it would be nice to have a new score for the trailer or they could just mix Rage Awakened with a new score. So I listened recently to DDD's soundtrack and I found myself very drawn to this score https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt4SJJ2kOAk&index=2&list=LLtVJggFXGOGRwHHTvmL7eUw and I thought for a sec that "Wow this would be a great song to use for a KH3 trailer" I know Nomura won't listen to me but I wanted to know what you think about maybe having a new score or why not have a mix of both, but the reason why I think the score fits is because if there will be a new combat trailer or world exploring it could really fit.
  2. At the Albuquerque Comic Con 2016 event in New Mexico, Jim Cummings, voice actor in the Kingdom Hearts series (Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pete, etc.), held a Q&A panel where fans could ask questions about his works or anything in general about him. Throughout the Q&A panel, held on January 9th, a fan asked Jim Cummings about the recording process for video games (Kingdom Hearts in particular) and how it differs from TV and movies, and he replied stating that he has finished his part for Kingdom Hearts III and goes into detail on the process of voice acting for the Kingdom Hearts series. You can check out the video below (Kingdom Hearts is specifically mentioned starting at 5:15) in which he replies to the fan concerned on his work for Kingdom Hearts III. Thanks goes to YouTube user StephanieWorld for capturing the footage.
  3. We've seen Neverland as a world in some form three times now: as Captain Hook's Ship/London, some tiny islands dotting an open sea, and as a majority of the island featured in Peter Pan. Tinkerbell was rumored to have dialogue in 358/2 Days before it was scrapped, so do you think it's possible that Pixie Hollow, from the Tinkerbell movies, could be an accessible area of Neverland if it is featured again in Kingdom Hearts III? What do you think of Sora and company as fairies? Thoughts?
  4. Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, as you all know, last night we were witness to a very interesting bit of news regarding Kingdom Hearts III! While we know it's just a rumor, I can't help but wonder...could it be true? Anyways, in the following video, I give my two cents on what I think about this! Brought to you by The Friendly Neighborhood Webhead! Enjoy! Gahhh, WILL THIS RUMOR PROVE TO BE TRUE!?
  5. Hey there everyone, how's it going!? I BET YOU ARE ALL EXCITED FROM THE NEWS WE GOT YESTERDAY ABOUT SQUARE PLANNING BIG SURPRISES FOR THIS YEAR, HUH!? CUZ I'M SURE EXCITED!!! X3 Good God, I'm getting the feeling that this is going to be a really good year for us Kingdom Hearts fans! I obviously needed to hype up, and so, as the Friendly Neighborhood Webhead, I present to you with my video on the subject! GUYS, THE HYPE IS REAL!!!
  6. Hi all! I'm not sure if there's anything in the rules against posting this here, I couldn't find anything in regards to the rules in that regard, so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules or anything. Anyway, I'm looking for someone to do art for my YouTube/Twitch channels. I'm a very small time youtuber, nothing big or anything, but my channels DESPERATELY need art. I did go to Deviantart originally and I had found someone, however, they haven't gotten back to me and they made several mistakes in terms of what I wanted so yeah, I thought it was time to find someone else. So I thought I would come here since one of the big things I'm looking for Kingdom Hearts/Disney inspired artwork for the channel. In terms of what I need, well I guess to put it simply, I need everything, lol! I need an avatar, I need banner art, you name it, I probably need it. So if anyone out there is interested, please reply or PM me with your prices and some samples of your work. And please, please, PLEASE, let me know how often you are able to communicate frequently or not. I don't want to wait another 7 months (no, I'm not kidding, that's how long the other artist kept me waiting and replies had started getting few and far between the longer it went on) for the art. I understand all too well that stuff in real life comes first, but I would rather be told something will be delayed than be left hanging in the dark and wondering if you vanished, lol. So if anyone out there is interested, please feel free to reply or PM. I look forward to seeing everyone's work.

  9. Grammar/Error Warning Undergoing Reform RIKU IS THE REAL HERO (THEORY) I wanted to make sure this theory reaches as many people as possible. If you aren't to keen on reading here's the original video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEOZyPxtOmg If you'd like to read the theory though. Let's begin: In this video I want to propose or convey an idea not many have proposed if at all. So as you all know Kingdom Hearts has always followed Sora and made him out to be the HERO some destined Keyblade barer until we reached Dream Drop Distance 4 years ago. We'll what if I also told you Kingdom Hearts 3 and what we know thus far also supports this theory? (I know I'd get ignorant hate because quote "We haven't played it yet how can you know?! I'm so... triggered! ) Yes, what we know actually does coincide with my theory. To understand the ending we must start from the beginning starting with the previous then current Generation. Birth By Sleep In this game we have our previous trio interact with the current trio and they develop connections. These connections are as stated (Terra-Riku] Aqua- Kiari, Riku, Sora] Ven-Sora). But someone's connections are not meant to be Sora's! (As we know from the know it all himself Mater Xehanort in DDD) In this journey the most important visits to Destiny Islands is connected to Terra and Aqua's portions. In Terra's visit he bestows the power of the Keyblade to Riku do to their outlooks on "what's really important" being highly relatable. As he states in the ritual "So long as you champion the ones you love" (As we know Riku admired Sora a lot when they were children.) The second most important visit: is Aqua's! Where we can concur that Aqua would've bestowed the power to Sora do to Riku having the power and darkness looming over his shoulder. So she instead asks Sora to "Protect Riku" be by "his side" and "guide him if he wanders a dark path" (Please keep this in mind as we go along.) Now Terra also made a statement that tripped me out "Aqua, Ven, one day i'll make this right." what if this is connected to the seed he sowed by gifting Riku with the keyblade? Just something to think about sense Nomura hinted the person in Terra's heart isn't actually Eraqus. Kingdom Hearts 1 In this game as we know the journeys of our current trio begins. But do to KH usually following Sora's perspective we'll be going into Riku's instead (Remember the Guardian Role Sora Plays). In this entry Riku was supposed to be bequeath the Kingdom Key but do to his wavering heart the keyblade moved along, or at least we were lead to believe that. Overtime this journey solidifies what it means to wield the Keyblade and Riku displays the complete opposite demeanor. Showing disdain and jealousy for Sora during our interactions with him. Most noted time was when he calls Sora a "delivery boy" and when he lets Ansem into his heart just to gain enough strength to put Sora beneath him. Going against the rituals line of "Championing the ones you love." though surprisingly in the end Riku returns to that boy that cared for his friends taking his heart back from Ansem and secluding himself in the Realm of Darkness. Kingdom Hearts Chain Of Memories In this entry Riku is called to Castle Oblivion to take on the trial of gaining control over his darkness and choose a path of Light or Darkness. But on his journey Riku learns that darkness does not need to be snuffed out. But instead it can be controlled and used to help him reach the light again. After fighting a few Organization members he finally takes on his inner struggle Ansem. After overcoming the battle it is discovered Riku possess an ability never before seen. The ability to balance the light and darkness in his heart making him immune to corruption on both ends! Kingdom Hearts 2 After the events of chain of memories Riku has left to learn how to control the darkness's hold on him. So out of fear of not being able to face Sora and Kiari thinking they would hold his actions from KH1 against him. Until he learns they've forgiven him and have been searching for him. After he rekindles that bond with them he's bequeath the gift of a new keyblade which he secretly struggles with accepting. Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance You all should know the premise of this game, if not, SPOILERS AHEAD! Sora and Riku dives into the hearts of the worlds to awaken them from slumber as their "Mark of Mastery Exam". Whoever dives into the worlds hearts and return unscathed will gain a new power and will be crowned "Master". We learn a few things about our two heroes. Sora: 1) Is prone to darkness of high levels like Xehanorts. 2) And Sora is actually a dull ordinary boy only powerful because of the connections in his heart. But he would never be chosen by a key. Riku: 1) Riku is immune to even the deepest depths of darkness which he's dived into twice 2) and Riku possess the power to save people from the darkness Now if you'll recall I said DDD exposes a lot about the theory? You should see what I'm eluding too. Sora can't fight Xehanort off. But Riku, however, has done it twice. Also, in the end Yen Sid says that "THEIR FATES REST BEST ON RIKU'S SHOULDERS" Kingdom Hearts 3 So of course things get a little bit flexible and interpretive here but let me explain why this coincides with my theory thus far. In the 2013 announcement trailer () we see Sora pick up the "Master Defender" as we know from Nomura Aqua will find out how to save Ventus and Terra in "A Fragmentary Passage" words from Nomura himself! But at the time Sora picks up this Key he shouldn't be a Master seeing as his clothes are still the KH2 duds. Leaving only one Master to be picked by the key "Riku". Think about it! Aqua knows Riku/Sora's home is Destiny Island meaning she could've sent the key to them the same way she lends Terra her Key. As a symbol of her will being left in Terra's hands. Secondly, take a listen to Young Xehanort's words to Young Eraqus in the E3 2015 trailer "On that land shall darkness prevail and light expire" If we've already established Riku's immunity to darkness since CoM it would make sense he'd survive the event of darkness consuming the light. During the 2nd key blade war. Lastly, think about Xehanort's goal in KH3 "13 darkness's and 7 lights whose final clash will beget the prize I seek...The X-Blade!" As we know the X-blade is a wavering key meaning it would connect to Riku because they're wills are the same and as we know a key can renounce a wielder if their hearts do not relate to it's will. The same way Riku lost the Kingdom Key. Look at the way to dawn keyblade and look at the X-Blade the Heart emblem is evidence. The X-Blade emblem is safe guarded by two Kingdom Keys but I think that symbolizes "Defender of Kingdom Hearts". So what do you think? 12. I believe Kingdom Hearts 3 will end with the death of all 7 Guardians of Light... ...Okay well maybe not "dead" dead, but here me out... There has been a lot of chatter that the 5 "Lost Masters" are actually: [it is believed these are the lost masters due to color scheme comparison, height equivalents, and the use of the same voice actors, I would recommend looking into this more yourself if your skeptical (Rebirth Theory w/ Pics = http://forums.khinsider.com/kingdom-hearts-iii/194630-rebirth.html and GamersJoint voice comparison https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8rGI_Yzr2cI ] Aqua = Anguis Ventus = Leopardos Riku = Unicornis Terra = Ursus Kairi = Vulpeus ...with the sixth lost master being missing It is also believed that the missing final page in the Book of Prophecies is also the page that states that darkness will triumph over light... Now here's where my theory begins, what if the Book of Prophecies was written by "people" from the future in order to try to prevent the outcome these "people" had faced (darkness defeating light)? So as to say, the Book of Prophecies is actually less of a prophecy written by the foretellers, but more of a recollection of past events the foretellers/"lost masters" actually experienced? This would mean that the "people" who wrote the Book of Prophecies only knew what happened up to the point of darkness defeating light, NOT what happened afterwards. I emphasize this because it seems as though the Book of Prophecies is incomplete and limited (the prophecy ends at a point that I can't possibly see as being the ending) and I think that's because its not the ending, but rather, just as far as the "lost masters" were able to make it before getting sent back in time! (Maybe through the power of finally achieving Kingdom Hearts) Now I want to quickly focus on the term "LOST masters". What makes the masters "LOST" and if the Lost Masters are the Foretellers, why are the Foretellers LOST??? I believe its because after the great war/clash between the 13 SoD and 7 GoL, 6 keyblade masters in the fight disappeared, not to a new location, but to a different time. So what if, at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3, Xehanort had finally captured Kingdom Hearts and the world fell to darkness, but as this happened, somehow Aqua, Ventus, Terra, Riku, and Kairi were sent back in time (along with the other unknown master) and became the foretellers. [Here's where the theory becomes a bit difficult to explain since we dont know who the GoL or the missing foreteller is, soooo from this point it's more random speculation than a theory backed by context clues] The crazy thing here is that Mickey, Axel/Lea, Sora, and Xehanort (not accounting for Vanitas, as I believe he may be defeated prior to this point) are all unaccounted for. I speculate that it could be possible that Mickey, Axel/Lea, and Sora are presumed dead by Xehanort, who finally achieves Kingdom Hearts. I speculate Sora and Axel/Lea "die" first. Then Mickey, in a last ditch effort, somehow manages to send Aqua, Ventus, Riku, Terra, and Kairi to the past to prevent the future, and "dies" doing so. Thinking they are all dead, and knowing the 5 were sent into the past, Xehanort goes into the past as the 6th/final foreteller(lost master) to steal the page from the foretellers as an attempt to prevent the world from knowing the truth that the events in the Book of Prophecies would lead to Xehanort's victory (so as to prevent anyone that were to read the full Book of Prophecies from ruining his plans). This would allow him to orchestrate a long drawn out plan manipulating even his younger self into following in his footsteps by mentoring Young Eraquas and Young Xehanort as his pupils. He would then use his ability to time travel to points in which he existed to return to the battlefield at the end of the game to finally sit on his throne ruling over the darkness in the world. However, I believe Axel/Lea will have died shielding Sora again (but this time he dies for real), and Mickey isn't dead but seriously injured and can't move. This would leave Sora and Xehanort to battle it out for one final showdown after the annihilation of the entire crew, the Book of Prophecies to have been fulfilled and for the Xehanort saga to be entirely tied up of loose ends. This would also account for Sora continuing on in his journey in the next installations of the game as the main character (as Nomura had stated would be the case) and would leave Kingdom Hearts X as more of a "side story" with the final page within the book of prophecies to actually be fully canon (which is what Nomura had stated would be the case of Kingdom Hearts X in relation to KH3). I also recall Hashimoto or Nomura, earlier in KH3's development, saying that they planned to make the ending sad, but Disney told them it was too sad and that they wanted a happier ending. And I believe this ending is sad enough for Disney to speculate it. OKAY SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? Do you guys think this is plausible? Do you think this makes a lot of sense but maybe a little different? (such as Axel/Lea actually being the 6th Lost Master, but is Killed by Xehanort and framed as a rebellious lost master?) (Or even the 6 Lost Masters are the 7 Guardians of Light minus Sora?) Am I missing anything such as the use of the X-blade in KH3? Is there anything you'd add or subtract from this theory? Please let me know!! ^_^
  13. All of the above. I would love to finally see a Final Fantasy world be implemented in the game, since there are literally NONE at all. To clear it up, Cloud is a card summon. Hollow Bastion is a compilation of a lot of things, and is not a proper Final Fantasy world.

  15. Did you know that KINGDOM HEARTS III did not switch engines because they were not able to get what they wanted with the Luminous Engine? Of course it is part of the reason since Nomura said so in an interview, but Square Enix actually did not want to let the Luminous Engine be used for any games besides FINAL FANTASY XV. According to the french website Final Fantasy World, Julien Merceron, a french technology director who helped with the development of the Luminous Engine, had to apply one of his rules before any other game was made with the technology Luminous provided. The rule states that a first game has to be completed with a certain technology before it can be used for other games. "The first game acts as a test" according to the Final Fantasy World article. Because of that, the Luminous Engine stayed exclusive to FINAL FANTASY XV and thus, games like KINGDOM HEARTS III or FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE moved to the Unreal Engine to pursue their development. Once FINAL FANTASY XV is released,in 2016, more games could be developped with the Luminous engine. Here's the Final Fantasy World article (if you read french) http://www.ffworld.com/?rub=news&page=voir&id=3180

  21. New Kingdom Hearts III gameplay footage debuted towards the end of a new Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue trailer that premiered at Jump Festa 2016. This new footage featured the use of magic, the return of Shotlocks and Nobodies, new Heartless, as well as a new Attraction Flow named "Shooting Ride". The footage begins with a cutscene of Sora, Donald, and Goofy in the Kingdom of Corona, seemingly heading towards Rapunzel's tower. From there, the cutscene smoothly transitions into a battle against the dandelion Heartless that were initially revealed at E3 2015. As Sora battles with the Heartless, he uses several magic spells including Aero and Fire. When these spells are used, they effect the environment as well; Aero will move the individual blades of grass while Fire spells will leave tinder marks on the ground. While the Heartless are somewhat spread out in the beginning of the battle, the smaller ones begin to circle around the bigger Heartless and begin to work as a group, as detailed by Tetsuya Nomura in a past interview. In the next scene, Sora encounters several Nobodies floating down in a valley. These Nobodies twirl about through the air while showering petals of light below. With the use of dodge roll, Sora is able to avoid the petals before being launched into the air with the help of Flowmotion. The design of these Nobodies seem to heavily suggest the return of Organization XIII member, Marluxia. On Mount Olympus, Sora, Donald, and Goofy are walking along a path when they encounter a group of flying Heartless. The HUD starts off blue when in a state of peace, but turns orange as the group encounters enemies and as Sora summons his Keyblade. From there, the screen zooms in and enters a Shotlock mode, an attack tactic featured in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. The player is given two options: "Shot Flow" or "Athletic Flow". Athletic Flow is chosen for this battle, and Sora launches into a high speed attack, easily moving between the flying Heartless with a technique that seems similar to Flowmotion. In order to keep the attack going, the player must push assigned buttons as they pop up onto the screen. Sora is surrounded by a blue glow during this period and unleashes a powerful spinning attack to finish off the Athletic Flow. When a Shotlock command is used, this will deplete the yellow bar featured above Sora's health and magic bars on the bottom left portion of the screen. Though buttons are not assigned yet, it can be assumed that each button will lead into a different Shotlock. Moments later, Sora falls into the river and is swept away by the current. In this state, it seems that Sora is defenseless against enemies, but the current is moving so fast that he could potentially escape without damage. As Sora is swept away, we also catch our first glimpse at a treasure chest. The next scene features a battle in Twilight Town and focuses on new Nocturne Heartless. These new Heartless use elemental attacks, just as their predecessors, but feature a ring around their bodies that they include in their attacks. Sora uses magic skills as well as classic maneuvers such as dodge roll, guard, and air slide against these new Nocturnes, Large Bodies, and Soldiers. Lastly, the new footage ends at the Mysterious Tower. As the trio enters battle, Sora raises his Keyblade and creates a portal from which the Shooting Ride Attraction Flow appears. Sora, Donald, and Goofy all jump into the car and Sora puts on a pair of glasses. Once the glasses are on, the screen changes into a sort of first person shooter state. From there, the player can send out short blasts that will launch enemies into the air. Once the Heartless are launched into the air, the player can do more damage with these blast attacks. Just like the Shotlock attacks, the Attraction Flow attack Shooting Ride also ends in a powerful finisher, featuring a bright swirl of many lights and launches several Heartless into the air at once. The Shooting Ride also keeps a record of the points the player gains while shooting down enemies. Just as it will do more damage, the player will also earn more points for shooting enemies that have already been launched into the air. Taking advantage of the finishing attack will also help to give players a higher score. After showing off dodge roll, magic attacks, as well as physical combos, Sora performs a Shotlock attack once more and starts to use "Shoot Flow" before the trailer fades into the Kingdom Hearts III logo. 22. Ok I basically made this to ask about preferences on the stories for the worlds. I would like to know if people would rather the worlds follow the stories of their respective movies with no relevance to the plot similar to the later games or if they would want the worlds to have their own unique stories with slight references to scenes from the movies, and have the worlds actually have importance to the plot overall. I'm not sure if BH6 is going to be relevant to the plot, but I do know that it is going to have it's own story.
