In a recent interview with GamesTM magazine, Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, answered a few questions about Disney's influence on the series and the possibility of having multiple playable characters in Kingdom Hearts III. In short, Nomura claims that Disney has never stopped the Kingdom Hearts team from doing something they wanted to do. At most, they've suggested having a lighter tone or happier endings, but unique story elements of Kingdom Hearts were never disagreed upon by Disney. The interviewer also mentions a theme to the numbered titles in the series, noting that Kingdom Hearts had one playable character and Kingdom Hearts II had two playable characters. The interviewer asks Nomura if the trend will continue with three playable characters in Kingdom Hearts III. The full interview can be read below: His response, and the fact that Birth by Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- was originally in Kingdom Hearts III seem to hint that we may be controlling more than just Sora in Kingdom Hearts III! Do you want multiple playable characters in Kingdom Hearts III or do you just want to stick with Sora? If you do, who do you want to play as? Let us know in the comments!

I haven't done a really good Kingdom Hearts picture in a long time. At least, not a finished one, anyways. In that case, I've set out to make one, and ironically enough, it took me 2.5 hours to make! A progress video lapsed into 14 minutes: Just a friendly reminder that Terra's still out there somewhere.

I was thinking if you have played 1.5, 2.5, and 2.8, in KH3 after Sora gets his new clothes, the bonus you get is a pallet swap for Sora's new outfit that represent each of Sora's clothes: KH1 Sora, KH2 Sora, and KH3D Sora. Of course, to make this fair for the people who hasn't played them/didn't get a chance to, they can be achieved by doing some challenges within the game.

What I mean by Disney animated movies are like The Proud Family Movie, or Kim Possible: So Not the Drama/Sitch in Time, and Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension. Kim Possible, to me, can fit Kingdom Hearts the most but I can also see The Proud Family work too.

We know that one of the Guardians of Light will have to rescue Ventus from the Castle. Castle Oblivion, that is. Doesn't have to be Aqua, but anyone. So it is pretty much confirmed that CO will be a world, Either way, I was watching the Re:Coded movie and I really enjoyed the castle oblivion segment. Which made we wonder that if Castle Oblivion will have the same music from the previous games? (KH:COM, KH:Re:Coded, KH:ReCom etc) The Castle Oblivion theme is one of my favourite tracks from the Kingdom Hearts franchise, mainly because of the mysterious conditions of the song and the oblivious feel to it. I would love if they kept this track the same as the field track from Castle Oblivion. What do you guys think?

How many hours do you think it will take to complete the main story of Kingdom Hearts III? With the recent news that Birth By Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- was originally supposed to be featured in Kingdom Hearts III, and was since removed because there was too much content in Kingdom Hearts III, I'm curious to know how long you all think the main story will take to complete. I personally think we're going to get a huge game. Maybe not Skyrim or Fallout level of hours, but I think the main story will take between 40 and 50 hours to complete. For reference, the main story of Kingdom Hearts II takes about 30 hours to complete.

During his latest interview with Dengeki PlayStation magazine, Tetsuya Nomura revealed that Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage- was originally intended to be included in the beginning of Kingdom Hearts III. He further explains that one of the reasons it became its own game is due to an increase in material for Kingdom Hearts III. Seeing as its coming back as main travel means id like for it to be expanded on a little more. KH2's Gummi Ship segmants were such an upgrade from the first game but in the 3rd maybe there could be some open field, all range mode kind of feel like for Star Fox, towards the end of a certain mission youll encounter a giant intergalactic Nobody or Heartless ship. And multiplayer could maybe somehow be implemented for dogfights, given there be a balancing system for custom ships.

Hi everyone! I wanted to ask a few questions about what is known thus far about Kingdom Hearts 3's development. I was having a discussion in a shoutbox on another site with someone and they told me a few things I did not previously know or was mistaken about: Kingdom Hearts 3 has only been in development since 2012 The Osaka team has been developing it the whole time since the release of KH: 3D Only certain mechanics from 3D were being explored/looked at for implementation in KH3 prior to 2012 Osaka is the main team working on KH3 (I thought there was another "main team" working on the title before Osaka) I do my best to follow updates and news releases for anything Kingdom Hearts, so I apologize if these facts have been long known by the community. I just thought that KH3 had been worked on since at least 2010. Any clarification on the validity of the above points would be greatly appreciated. P.S. Are there any hints from Nomura and co. as to exactly when KH 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue will release in 2016?

Towards the end of his interview with Famitsu Weekly, Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura gave some details about what the atmosphere of Big Hero 6's world will feel like. Sticking with tones from the movie, Tetsuya Nomura describes it as a world set in the near future but in a cityscape that doesn't feel much different than modern times. He also explains that the heavy action aspect of the movie as well as the fun themes are what made Big Hero 6 stick out as a great choice for a world in Kingdom Hearts III. You can read the quote below, thanks to KH13 News Team member soraspromise. He also discussed the original Baymax left in the portal at the end of the movie that is taken over by Heartless, first shown in concept art during Big Hero 6's world announcement at D23 Expo 2015 in Anaheim, California. He also revealed the he, as well as co-director Tai Yasue, are both very excited about this dark version of Baymax. Knowing that the events in Big Hero 6's world will take place after the movie, what do you hope to see in Kingdom Hearts III's Big Hero 6 world? Let us know in the comments! In an interview with Famitsu Weekly, Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, was asked questions concerning the HD collection announced for PlayStation 4, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. One topic in particular was brought up about Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-. In the discussion, Nomura explains the distinction between "0.5" and "0.2". "0.5" was supposed to be a whole new volume, as hinted at in the Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Final Mix ending of the secret episode. The reason why "0.5" was bumped down to "0.2" was because Kingdom Hearts III is still a priority and did not want to affect development for it, however Nomura wanted to give fans a taste of Kingdom Hearts III with it's new technology, which is used for Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-. You can read the quote below from the Famitsu Weekly interview thanks to KH13 News Team member soraspromise. Click here to view the article

Famitsu Weekly had the opportunity to interview Tetsuya Nomura, director of the Kingdom Hearts series, about the recently announced Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. In the interview, Nomura jokes that the mysterious Kingdom Hearts 2.9 is not going to be released, at least not until "after Kingdom Hearts III". Additionally, fans have been wondering why Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue will not be released on the PlayStation 3, and Nomura explains that it is because Birth By Sleep 0.2 -A Fragmentary Passage- uses Kingdom Hearts III technology, and creating titles for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 would make a difficult situation for the studio to handle. The full Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue interview with Tetsuya Nomura can be read here, thanks to News Team member soraspromise. With the news that Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is the final title to be released before Kingdom Hearts III, when do you think Kingdom Hearts III will be released?
