  5. So I was thinking, we all saw that Master Xehanort was reassembled in 3D and the one question on everyone mind was, why Master Xehanort? Why not Apprentice Xehanort? And I have a theory: What if when Ansem and Xemnas where defeated, Terra and Xehanort's hearts where somehow separated and each returned to their original bodies, restoring both Master Xehanort and Terra in the present day? The problem with this of course is the lack of proof that Master Xehanort's original body ever became a Nobody. There are those ominous quotes about "many roads" and "something left behind" that may allude to an, as of yet unknown, Nobody of Master Xehanrt's though even if such an entity exists it has yet to be discovered, much less defeated, rendering complete restoration impossible. But if this where the case it would mean that Terra is already out there somewhere, searching for answers as to what happened to Ven and Aqua (as it is unlikely he remembers anything from his time under Xehanort's thrall) So, there you have it, a baseless theory with no supporting evidence and a ton of holes. Have fun tearing it apart. P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. It just seems lie KH3 woudl be the only game significantly affected by this theory.
  6. As 2015 progresses, we still lurk for information and fragments of the Kingdom Hearts series, specifically Kingdom Hearts 3. I, like everyone else here is a fan and I'd like to contribute some of my work to you just as an entertainment piece to hold us a little bit longer. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEmqansKsXM
  7. So, as we all (should) know, in the KH3 teaser trailer, Sora was seen back in Twilight Town, being attacked by a swarm of heartless. Many people have thought that Twilight Town's story was pretty much wrapped up, but for some reason multiple trailers have depicted it. So, the question is: Why the hell are we back here? Well, I have two theories: 1) The Old Mansion. When we look back to the first trailer, the place where Sora is fighting the heartless is right next to the hole in the wall that leads to the Old Mansion. Now, I'm not sure why, but it might have to do with the memory pods, that's the only big reason I can think of for going back there. Now, if we're sticking to the memory pod thing, the reason they would be going back would be to restore someone's memories. Who's? Well, I think it could maybe be some of the members of the new Organization, such as Terra and Saix. It isn't confirmed that anyone norted would lose their memories, like Riku for example he was ansemed/norted, but that only affected his behavior, and his eyes weren't turned to gold until his battle with Roxas, where he turned into Ansem, but retained his memories. Then again, he wasn't personally norted by Xehanort. 2) The Key to Return Hearts Ok, this is more of an obvious one, they're either looking for the key to return hearts, or the key to return hearts is there. Now, you're probably asking "why would the key to return hearts be there of all places?" Well, honestly this is a really loose theory, but if you look at Twilight Town's name, you'll surely see the word 'Twilight'. I'm thinking the key to return hearts is neither light nor dark, although I do not have evidence of this. So what's both light and dark? Dawn, dusk, and twilight. Now the reason I'm saying twilight is because dawn and dusk both have their primaries. Dawn being light, and dusk being darkness. Twilight (I think) is an equal amount. So, if this is true and the key to return hearts is neither light or dark, would it make sense if it was in twilight town? Well that's just a theory, A GAM- Hahah, thought I was rip off game theory, didn't you?
  8. You would not believe how often this occurs. You know, when websites which have absolutely nothing to do with Kingdom Hearts or Gaming in general post False News Articles claiming many things about Kingdom Hearts III. ChristianPost, Kpopstarz and many others are the main culprits in this spreading of utter lies and baseless theories such as Release Dates, Features in the game, Worlds being featured, Characters, Keyblades, Story, hell even it's Platforms! A video from TheGamersJoint (Aka: Cynical) shows just how stupid these websites can be: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYmV_mBxaJ4 So please, I implore all of you, only check for News for KHIII from reliable sources such as here. I know that we're on the website to begin with but still, doesn't prevent us from seeing such false info and believing it to be true and then posting here, I'm sure it's probably happened before. That is all.
  9. Disney has announced a Kingdom Hearts fan event for the lead up to D23 Expo Japan 2015, called Kingdom Hearts―The Theater. This event will take place at Tokyo Disney Resort on November 3, 2015, 3 days before the actual expo. Here's Disney's description of the event: At the last D23 Expo in Japan, D23 Expo 2013, Kingdom Hearts III was featured with a new trailer. Could this year's event be where the next Kingdom Hearts III news is shown?
  10. Look, I don't have anything against SkywardWing, but this idea just makes me cringe. Its so tired and cliche, even for Kingdom Hearts standards, and based on the premise behind it, It just seems like something that would only go down at the last minute just to create some extra drama or something. He probably shouldn't have made comparisons to Sora-Riku either, because that just drags it down even further. Also I guess Sky forgot about the Armor fight in DDD, which technically was a fight against Sora.
  11. 1. Badass Kairi. 2. Badass Kairi. 3. BADASS SEXY CUTE KAIRI Hmm...I think I'm becoming more Javelin-ish. Eh. Seems good. Seems legit.
  12. I've come up with this theory and I've been itching to share it. I decided to put it up here on KH13 because the social websites I put it up in don't have a lot of KH fans to discuss it with. Also my first post on this website, so please be nice ;v; Note: This theory is not spoiler free. It contains spoilers for all the Kingdom Hearts games so if you haven't played it yet and don't want to be spoiled, it is recommended you don't continue on. Everyone knows how cheerful Sora can be. In situations where it’s clearly time to be serious, he goofs off without a care in the world. This has some fans annoyed out of their wits and sometimes they call him a Mickey clone. I tend to agree with how childish Sora can be sometimes, even when the situation is really serious (even though he is my favorite character), but recently I have come up with a theory will explain why he is so ‘childish’. He may not even be truly childish at all. Like a regular person, Sora has his own personal darkness. His darkness is rarely shown in the series and is sometimes overlooked. He is not a perfect person; he has a light and dark side. Most of the time, Sora chooses to think positively instead of negatively. Rarely seen truly sad or angry, it’s hard to think that Sora even has a negative point of view. However, just because he acts and sees everything positively doesn't mean that the negative view of things doesn’t exist to him. It still does, but he avoids it. Sora hates the darkness. It’s done so many bad things to him. Sora dislikes people who use darkness, but he acknowledges it to a certain point. That’s why Sora doesn’t take selfish and cowardice actions easy. He berates anyone who was once selfish, one example being Iago in Aladdin’s world. It took him quite a long time to trust Iago, but is willing to forgive to an extent anyone if they helped him (i.e. Maleficent, Ansem --actually Riku in KH2 when he saved Kairi--, etc). Sora doesn't like the people who use darkness and considers it to be ‘evil’, though he seems to have admitted (not really overcoming it; he simply acknowledged that he has darkness in his heart) that the “darkness had gotten to [him] too." Before I delve any further into where I’m getting at, I’m going to make a statement: Sora has never overcome/conquered his own personal darkness on his own or really by his own will. Unlike Riku, who had to struggle with the darkness in him for so long before finally overcoming it with light in KH3D (on his own), Sora always needed some form of help or events to get over his darkness. When Sora becomes a Heartless in KH1, the only reason he came back is because Kairi wished it to. Although Roxas is not technically an evil Sora, when merging with Roxas (first time I thought he was sora Sora’s evil side), Roxas only merged with Sora out of his own will. In KH3D, he was tempted by the new Organization 13 and finally gave in. He was only saved by the darkness by Riku. It irks me, it really does, that when I realize it. Noruma engineered almost everything so that whatever Sora does, it can be explained because of someone else linked to him and that he can be considered ‘not really special’ at all. Sora is using Ventus’ fighting style (not really, Sora has his own style, I'm just mimicking the people who think it's true)! He can’t really wield a keyblade either! It’s Ventus’! Sora can’t really duel wield, that’s really because of Roxas (or whatever, duel wielding originates from)! The keyblade Sora uses is not his! It’s Riku’s! He also can’t pass the Mastery Exam because he got kidnapped! Sora’s actually not special at all! Dangit Noruma, toss Sora a freakin’ bone already. Let him do something cool that isn’t because of someone else. Anyways, I wanted to get this idea out. To be honest, Sora finally overcoming darkness on his own seems like a plot element in KH3. Now back to my theory, most of the time, negative thinking can be considered a part of darkness. Think too negatively all the time, you’ll spiral into depression or something like that. From personal experience, depression is a very dark part of your life. When someone is pessimistic, we tend to encourage that person to be optimistic and such. Donald and Goofy give this advice to Sora when they try to get him to come with them to find the king. Specifically, they said “No Frowning, No sad faces.” Sora seemed to have taken this to heart. The sadder and more emotionally disturbed you are, the happier you should be. When Sora feels a great amount of negative emotions, his mindset automatically clicks to a positive thought so he won’t have to deal with it. More specifically, he doesn’t want to deal with the darkness that comes with negative emotions. So basically, when Sora is expected to react negatively, but reacts positively (the example I used is in KH1 when he’s supposedly depressed from losing his world and then suddenly smiles like some deranged lunatic) he’s really overacting so he won’t feel so bad and that he avoids the darkness. They say that if you’re really good at lying, you’ll be able to convince yourself of the lie. In truth, Sora does feel broken and sad in times where it seems like he’s not, but he’s trying to protect himself by acting happy. Sora’s lying to himself about how he feels. DiZ compares Sora’s light to an innocent child, and what to children do when they encounter something they don’t like (or afraid of)? They avoid it. When I was young, I didn’t like TinTin (I like it now though because of the 2011 movie), and I ended up avoiding everything TinTin related growing up because I was disturbed by one episode when I was younger. Like me, Sora had bas experienced from Darkness from Ansem (Xehenort’s Heartless) and has developed something real strong against it. So in reality, Sora knows the seriousness of the situation and switches his perspective accordingly so he can fabricate being happy; to keep the darkness away. He only vents his anger/sadness in small outbursts when it’s too much for him. Maybe he (subconsciously?) knows that if he is too negative, the darkness in his heart would take over in a moment’s notice. When Sora was about to stab himself with the keyblade, he smiles, not because he’s happy, because he’s really sad, probably afraid. The real reason why Sora is so ‘childish’ and so darn happy all the time is so that he can protect himself from the darkness. Sora can’t overcome his darkness, so he tries everything he can to make sure to avoid the darkness at all cost. The reason why in KH3D, he reverts to being super childish is because he’s in a lot of pain. Disturbed by the New Orgs’s weird questions, he tries to brush it off and plays off as childish person so he can deal with it with how scared/troubled he feels. When he was forced into a dream within a dream (or whatever happened that caused Sora end up in the inception limbo), he saw so many visions of Roxas, Namine, Xion, Ventus, Terra, Aqua. So many emotions he can’t understand. The pain from those connected. Sora doesn’t want the darkness to get to him. He literally describes the feeling of his heart ‘aching’ and Sora being Sora decides it’s time to remain positive. He clings onto his friendships and pushes forward, but still falls in darkness away because it was a part of Xehenort’s plan. Later after he is saved, he wasn’t the least bit bummed out that he failed the Mark of Mastery Exam. Why is that? I mean I’m pretty sure, no matter how positive you are, you would at feel at least a tad bit discouraged or bummed out when you fail something you put your heart and soul into. I was expecting Sora to be a little sad or something, but no, he’s just explodes in naïve happiness over the fact that Riku had succeeded. If my theory is put into play, Sora’s actually overreacting because he feels bad. He’s happy for Riku and decides to emphasize that emotion so he can drown out the bad emotions he’s feeling. He actually feels really sad, perhaps guilty for making him put his best friend through thick and thin for him. It’s evident because Sora immediately departs for another journey. I’m not sure whether or not he’s thanking the Dream Eaters or training, but Donald and Goofy state that he has been gone for a long time despite the fact that Sora said that he wouldn’t be gone for long. I believe he’s training or such, to make up for failing the Mark of Mastery Exam. Anyways, as many instances proven to us, running from darkness doesn’t make things the least bit better. When Riku tries to avoid darkness, it only gets worse until he manages to conquer it with light. Sora has been doing this emotional mechanism for a long time now and running from darkness will only work for so long. It’s a possibility that Sora is going to give into the dark in KH3. It may even be possible for Sora to be ineligible to be a Guardian of Light. After all, Xehenort has his eyes set on Sora as a new vessel and it doesn’t seem like he’s the type to give up that easily. The plot twist seems right up Noruma’s alley and he’s clearly obsessed with trying to prove that Sora’s just a normal kid (technically a young man since he’s about 18 in KH3). In one interview, he says this: Read the Article here: http://www.khinsider.com/news/A-Look-Back-Director-s-Secret-Report-XIII-4883 When I read this, I got really excited The translation for the report had just come up about two months ago (I was a l late reading it, ;v; ) I’ve always seemed curious to why Sora’s turning into a heartless has been somewhat ‘overlooked’ since it’s appearance. Clearly Noruma has something planned for Sora’s darkness. Since it's still an unresolved issue, the problem still persists. It wouldn’t be a surprise to me if Sora was actually a Seeker of Darkness rather than a Guardian of Light. Of course, this was said roughly 8 years ago and it could be referring to Sora’s fall in darkness in KH3D; however, I believe that this is a crucial plot element to KH3. A large portion of the SoD (Seekers of Darkness), are unknown. It’s hard to believe that Xehenort will not waste such an opportunity as Sora. It’s probably quite difficult to round up the correct vessels and Xehenort had to resort to time travel to get the remaining vessels. There was a reason why Xehenort decided that Sora was a suitable vessel. Although it's been stated that he merely 'move down the list', there is a reason why Sora was on the list in the first place. Both Roxas and Riku had become inadequate vessels because they both managed to overcome their darkness. Sora still hasn't and thus why Xehenort had put him on the list of potential candidates. It would be strange of Xehenort if he didn’t try to ‘recruit’ Sora when he’s at his weakest in KH3. There has been some speculation regarding whether or not Sora will lose the ability to lose his keyblade when he awakens Ventus by giving back his heart. Noruma seems to thrive on proving Sora is just normal (HE IS CLEARLY NOT :U) . It certainly seems like a strong possibility and it would open up a chance for Sora to step into darkness. Without a keyblade and the loss of the connections to his heart (He would've saved most everyone by then), he would be ‘normal’ again (except that he can probably do magic with or without the keyblade). Discouraged that he was no longer of ‘importance’ and that he was unable to do anything might drive him over the edge and into darkness. I expect some conflict with Sora’s darkness in KH3 or I will be very upset. Edit: There's a counter-argument against the fact that Sora will lose his ability to wield when giving back Ventus' heart. This is because if Ventus is the true source of Sora's keyblading abilities then it should've been lost with Roxas when Sora turned into a Heartless in KH1. Other people claim that the reason behind this because Ventus is still out of commission and did not need the keyblade. Technically, Roxas is tethered to Sora so even if Ventus went with Roxas, supposedly, the ability to wield will still be distributed through both of them; mainly because Sora and Roxas were using the same two keyblades at the same time during CoM and Days. But hey, that’s just a theory... A Game KH Theory! Thanks for reading! There's bound to be some loopholes or contradictions in this theory and this is purely speculation concerning Sora's childish attitude and such. If ya find something contradictory or something, please tell me. I want to revise this theory to the very best I also love to discuss this further. I've also never played CoM (the card fighting system screwed me over), Coded, and BBS so there might be some important cut scenes I have missed. I only got my information from this games via the internet. So yea thanks again for reading my theory
  13. I grew up with many Disney movies and The Jungle Book was one of my favorites growing up along with so many more. The Jungle Book is known for being a world that been scrapped in the KH universe for quite some time now. First was going to appear in (Kingdom hearts 2002) but was later deleted for already having Deep Jungle in it. The biggest chance we would see The Jungle Book in a Kingdom Hearts game was in Birth By Sleep when hacking through the game's code Terra, Ventus and Aqua could enter a Jungle Book themed world that however looked to be in early stages of details. It didn't really look like a world without King Louie's throne room that was the most detailed area in the hacked world. It's unknown why the world was not finished or placed in the game but that's another story. Here's my idea on how Jungle Book could be put in into Kingdom Hearts 3 and I have long been wanting to see this movie featured in the game as a full world but now that Kingdom Hearts 3 is developed with the unreal engine 4 I see many possibilities of a beautifuly detailed world. World The Jungle Book World Name / (Jungle Of Necessities/ Mysterious Jungle/ Indian Trees or Trees Of India/ Jungle Of Ruins) I can't decide but here you got some names for the world. Inhabitants Mowgli, Baloo, Bagheera, Shere Khan, Kaa, Colonel Hathi, Hathi Jr, Elephants, King Louie, King Louie's Henchmen monkeys, Vultures, Shanti, Wolves and other jungle animals as npc's running around in the world areas. As you know I like creatures and people running around so it feels like a world I don't want another empty savannah like The Pride lands. Party Members Bagheera and Baloo. How many Bosses/ 5 Final Boss Shere Khan Heartless Design Of The World: Tiger, Monkey, Rhino and Wolf like heartless. Now enough on the small details and let's get into what we are supposed to do in the world. The Story If I would set up a scenario for The Jungle Book in Kingdom Hearts 3 it would take place right when Mowgli's been kidnapped by Louie's monkeys where the trio arrive and runs into Baloo and Bagheera. You arrive by the waterfall area from the movie where Mowgli's been kidnapped by the monkeys. the area is filled with trees, rocks and flowers. There's a checkpoint inside of the waterfall if needing to save. The trio introduces themselves to Baloo and Bagheera but Bagheera quickly interrupts them and says they haft to go and save Mowgli. But before they can run off they are attacked by heartless BOSS: Heartless #1 OBJECTIVE: Defeat all the enemies and a huge like Rhino heartless After defeating the heartless they all rush to the ruins to save Mowgli. PARTY: Baloo and Bagheera has joined your party. You can either choose to have Bagheera or Baloo. As you reaches the ruins you run down the similar edged cliff you can see on the BBS hack area where the ruins are located. When you reaches the ruins you enter the temple and it's kinda of like a labyrinth you follow the sounds of music where Mowgli is located. I see a hilarious moment when the team have different opinions on how to save Mowgli and while they argue Baloo starts to dance along to the music while Sora, Donald, Goofy, and Bagheera plans on how to save Mowgli from Louie. PARTY: Baloo has left your party. OBJECTIVE: Try to get to Mowgli without being seen by the monkeys or Louie. If you get seen by the monkeys they throw fruit at you and force you to begin from the beginning. If Louie sees you he starts to rage and you once again haft to start over. The trio and Bagheera are busted after Baloo's fake disguise is revealed by the monkeys. The trio saves Mowgli from Louie and flees. However before they can escape the ruins, Sora and Baloo are stopped by Louie's monkeys and haft to face off the monkeys and Louie. BOSS: King Louie and his Henchmen Monkeys #2 OBJECTIVE: Defeat the monkeys by teaming up with Baloo and face an enraged King Louie before the ruins falls and blocks your exit. After defeating Louie Sora, and Baloo flee into the jungle meeting up with the rest. After a little argument returning Mowgli to the man village Mowgli runs away feeling betrayed by Baloo and the rest. The gang split up to find him. Baloo goes with Goofy while Sora goes with Bagheera and Donald. PARTY: Bagheera has joined your party, Baloo has left your party You reach an open glen full of flowers the one where Shere Khan first appeared in the movie when he was on a hunt for a deer. Sora, Donald and Bagheera runs into Hathi and the other elephants. This is the place where you can save the game there's a checkpoint and the elephants are npc's you can talk to with speech bubbles. The npc's are Hathi, his march and his son Hathi Junior. If you speak to Colonel Hathi he will come up with an excuse that Mowgli was foolish running away, and also mention Shere Khan is several miles from their jungle. If you speak to Hathi Jr you are ready to continue so the whole area where the elephants are is an area that prepares you for the second and final battle. The second battle Sora, Donald and Bagheera finds Mowgli hypnotized by Kaa. BOSS: Kaa #3 OBJECTIVE: You are facing Kaa at the top of a tree and Kaa will try to swallow Mowgli. With Kaa's hypnotizing he can create illusions for our heroes and can separate them from each other making it harder to defeat Kaa. Once you defeated Kaa Mowgli has escaped and Shere Khan shows up. Sora Donald and Bagheera have already run off after Mowgli. Shere Khan and kaa have a conversation similar to the one in the movie. As you run to the swamp where Mowgli is, you enter 3 different parts of the jungle. The first area is very light and green but the second area is more dark green and the third area is very dark as you enter the swamp. The swamp is dark and openly with only like three dead trees and a dark lake. There's no checkpoint since the elephant area was supposed to prepare you for the worst. A cutscene of the vultures meeting Mowgli is shown before the trio arrives. You end up in a swamp, where you find Mowgli with the vultures. However the moment is interrupted by Shere Khan who attacks Mowgli. Baloo comes to the rescue with Goofy and pulls Shere Khan away from Mowgli saving him. Try to take out Shere Khan and keep away from Mowgli. To be correct (protect Mowgli from reaching the damage meter full as Baloo is trying to hold Shere Khan back) The gang keeps fighting Shere Khan but however Shere Khan attacks Baloo who is still holding on to his tail and Baloo is wounded in the process and collapses. BOSS: Shere Khan Final Battle #5 OBJECTIVE: Team up with Donald, Goofy, Mowgli and Bagheera in the fight against Shere Khan with the vultures who helps as well. Help Mowgli reach with a fire stick and don't let Shere Khan summon heartless Tigers that sucks your health from the fire. After defeating Shere Khan they all notice Mowgli crying over Baloo who is believed to be dead. A similar scene like from the movie has Bagheera comforting Mowgli and brings out a speech about Baloo until he is interrupted by Sora who notices Baloo is alive. They share a happy reunion however it doesn't last so long when Mowgli is drawn to a girl who is singing by the river to the man village. You all know what happens next Mowgli decides to move into the man village with the girl Shanti but before he goes off he waves goodbye to the trio, Baloo and Bagheera and thanks them for everything. As the trio is about to leave the world Baloo gives them the keyblade Bare Of Necessities and Bagheera wishes to see them again and they are welcome to come back whenever they want. That's that hope you liked it
  14. After watching so many YouTube videos about the series, reading many of the threads here on the site, and learning about the story of Chi and AAAAAAALL of the theories out there, I have come to one conclusion: I am utterly lost when it comes to the KH lore now. Like stupidly lost. Like, I'm playing a game whose story is just slapping me in the face every second while I like it. By asking the following questions, I know I'm probably gonna get the classic, "why start a new thread, all the answers are ______" ; " so and so already answered ______________" ; "here's the link to find out ___________ and __________" etc. But at least for my sake and love of the series,I guess I'd like to have once single page to get CLEAR and maybe DEFINITIVE answers to the mind boggle I have right now. Here goes: 1. In KH1, Sora could only WIELD the keyblade because of Ven's presence in his heart. I know that Sora never got his OWN k'blade, but by the end of the game, the k'blade CHOSE him over Riku due to Riku's entanglement with darkness even though it was initially Riku's keyblade. True or False? (if true, then sora won't lose the keyblade that chose him even if Ven's heart leaves him in KH3?) 2. KH1: When Sora releases his heart to release Kairi's with the Keyblade of People's Hearts, his Nobody Roxas is formed. Right? Right. But does Ven's heart get transferred into Roxas or does it stick around with Sora all the time? Just want to make sure... This also reminds me of something I read on this site: 2b. Since Roxas=Sora's Nobody and Nobody= Body left behind by Heartless, I read somewhere on here that after the events of KH1 and all through out CoM until Roxas merges with Sora in KHII, Sora is theoretically a "walking heart" since Roxas has his "left behind body" until the end of Roxas' story? Or does Sora recoup his body as seen in KH1 and Roxas... also keeps his body...? Does that have any merit or am i really just out of my mind?? 3. Roxas dual wields because of Sora and Ven, or because of Sora and Xion? And Sora can dual wield because of Ven and because he got the synch blade ability from Roxas after merging, right? 4. I played DDD when it first came out and im fuzzy on the story as of now: So Roxas and Xion grew their own heart after a while and there's a possibility of them coming back as their own people person in KH3? 5. ... If 4 is true.. does that mean that Sora, as of the end of DDD, is housing 3 hearts: Ven, Roxas, and Xion? Or does the fact that Xion is at this point a forgotten memory made from memories disqualify her from ultimately coming back? (Which, incidentally, leads me to another question: IF Roxas & Xion grew a heart, then that means Axel did too. If Lea is back due to his HL/NB being destroyed.. does that mean that Lea would then house Axel's new grown heart in him? or does the new heart thing not apply to his happenstance and is still just one heart?) Too many questions. Gonna go lie down now.
  15. As of today, Leonard Nimoy (Master Xehanort's English voice actor) has died at age 83 from Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California. For those of you who don't know, he was born on March 26, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts. He began his career in his twenties, teaching acting classes in Hollywood and making brief TV and Film appearances. Leonard Nimoy was perhaps best known to the public and Sci-Fi fans as Spock from Star Trek. Many Kingdom Hearts fans were hoping to see him reprise his role as Master Xehanort in the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, but sadly it was not meant to be. His final tweet said "A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. LLAP" He will be missed. Live long and prosper.
  16. With Chikao Ōtsuka gone and Leonard Nimoy hospitalized, both voice actors for Master Xehanort will have to be replaced. Now since i know the voice acting auditions take time to do it will be a while before we get a confirmed new voice actor for Xehanort. now i have thought about this a lot and think that it may postpone Nomura's Intended release date for the game, I have a Speculation that the Game may be released Late 2016 early 2017. I think this mainly because of the voice acting auditions, these take from hours to days to weeks to months the be completed. And if it comes to that Japans release date will be pushed back farther and farther. Now for North America we have the luxury of having the voice actor - Leonard Nimoy - still around but hospitalized, if his conditions get any worse and he, and lets hope not, dies we would have to replace him but it may take even longer to produce the game. tell me what you guys think. do you think it will be postponed, pushed back, or stopped?
  17. SoftKeychains

    Half Norted

We probably need to get used with this sad possibility
  18. Now, Flaming lea has already provided evidence debunking this theory, namely that Nomura specifically said this wasn't the case but I felt this theory was too good to share, even if it is wrong. What’s the meaning behind the several puzzling images in Terra’s chapter where we cross over into his mind?"Firstly, when he hears the name of the masked boy from Master Xehanort at the mysterious wasteland, and we see an image of Aqua and Ventus defeated, that’s a hint of the future. On Destiny Islands, when he makes Riku his successor, he has a special view of him and catches a glimpse of his future. However, this isn’t to say that Terra has the ability to see the future—it was a directive nuance intended to portray the future connection between Terra and Riku." -BbS UltimaniaSo while replaying BbS, I remembered that there are hints toward Terra having some kind of precognitive power, the ability to see glimpses of the future.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=C2OiE3T9lX4As seen heart Terra seems to get a vision of the events at Keyblade Graveyard.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mncdm144uUUHere it appears that he gets another glimpse of the future. Now for Xehanort.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BYzaeOQ7ayMAs seen here young Xehanort says that even though he'll forget his journey through time, these events will lead him down the destined path, after all, CoM, KHII, Days, Re;coded and 3D all show that memories never really disappear completely. So, while Terra may not have precognition, what if Xehanort has some form of pseudo-precognition in which his memories of this travels through time occasionally surface, giving him glimpses of the future that seem like visions? This would explain how he's been able to plan for every possible contingency. Add in the Book of Prophecy, and it's no wonder he's always been one step ahead. But if that's the case, this may be how he finally fails once and for all. Young Xehanort said "It is the future that lies beyond my sight" His visions only lead up to the climax of 3D, meaning in KH III, Master Xehanort won't be able to rely on them and so he won't be able to form any more back-up plans. Unless he gets/has the Book of Prophecy, he can't see the future anymore.
  19. Ok, so. You might see some weird stuff in here but bare with me for a moment. I did check the previous thread (which is a year old) to make sure it wasn't a totally duplicate thread. Anyway, here we go. This is also the order of rank I think they will be. Master Xehanort Master Xehanort* Terra-Xehanort Young Xehanort** Xemnas Xehanort's Heartless (Ansem SoD) Riku-Xehanort (Ansem SoD)*** Vanitas**** Xigbar Braig***** Isa ???? ???? *Think about it for a second. MX already exists in the present since both his Nobody and Heartless have died. So that means YX could still get MX from the past. **I saw in the previous thread that someone mentioned that there might be another "Young" Xehanort which is a little bit older than the one in DDD. That's clearly impossible since when Ansem SoD went back in time to teach YX all that stuff, YX left after that on his quest. ***Technically Riku-Xehanort is a different version of Xehanort than Ansem SoD. Just like how Terranort is also different than MX. The only reason his eyes aren't amber/golden is because they probably didn't think ahead that much. Also, Repliku wouldn't make sense since he isn't an incarnation of Xehanort. YX's mission was to travel through time and gather all the incarnations of Xehanort. **** I was thinking of adding Ventus-Vanitas but that would be impossible since Ventus was fighting Vanitas all the time they were merged so it wouldn't leave an opportunity for them to use him. ***** As someone else said in the previous thread Braig IS a different being than Xigbar since Xigbar is his nobody. Anyway, I do believe that we've seen the 12 SoD's throughout the series since they were already there at "Where Nothing Gathers".
  20. Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well then, last night I saw the Re:Coded story cutscenes with my best friends/soul brothers Jonathan and Dennys,(and we fanboyed a hell lot with the hype building!) and well, when this little scene came into light, I was open mouthed and fanboying like crazy! Take a look! So, it seems that Maleficent and Pete will probably be searching for this Book Of Prophecies in Kingdom Hearts III, and if they got their hands on it, then damn, things would be total chaos! Now that I've begun to see the KHX walkthrough, I'm excited to learn more of this Book Of Prophecies! What do you all think? Will Maleficent and Pete find this book in Kingdom Hearts III?
  21. Given that we'll be getting more KHIII news this year, maybe even a trailer, and we will all be hyped I felt I should do a Public Service Announcement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4Twe410Qk-wRemember these gems?https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kdZAOtcuvBcRemember how excited they made us?https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9GSlOGzQqrsRemember how almost none of this material made it into the games unaltered, if at all?https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=l4AQnzLDFnkMy point is, whatever we see, take it with a grain of salt. For your sanity.
  22. I mean, let's look at this from this point of view. Frozen was a unbelievably large commercial success, it was loved by children and adults alike all around the world, it has been translated into many languages, and it features a song so catchy and iconic, that the entire world kept singing it inside their heads for a while. Its plot is interesting and fascinating, and features a message so new to Disney movies that no other has had it in the past. There are many interesting and diverse characters, both protagonists and antagonists, such as Elsa and Anna, or Hans and the Duke of Weselton. So, how will all that apply to Kingdom Hearts III? To begin with, given its success, Disney will be wanting to feature it in the game, if Nomura is not already on his knees begging for them to let him use it. A Frozen-based world will appeal to all audiences, young children who are being introduced to the series and adults or teenagers who have been fans since its release in 2002. "Let It Go" is so great it could be converted into a beautiful background track, along with "For the First Time in Forever". The plot is flexible and could fit in a single world while being altered to include Sora and the gang, features a message no other world has taught Sora so far, (i.e. Love does not only come from a partner) all while exploring the diverse landscape of Arendelle, from its seaside plains to the snowy mountains and so on. Another key element of a successful world is its character roster. The heroes of Frozen are mainly four: - Elsa, the Ice Queen. Who can imagine a Frozen themed world, where elsa is not a party member. Her powerful ice attacks could put heartless to shame, featurring advanced Blizzard spells like Deep Freeze or Ice Barrage. A useful ally nonetheless, but also an important character, undergoing serious self-discovery issues. Through her, Sora can be taught the importance of accepting yourself. - Anna of Arendelle An important character undoubtedly, she could serve as a cheerful introduction to the world, meeting Sora in the mountain and asking for help in order to reach her sister and save her homeland. Not much useful battle-wise, except for something like a protect quest, where you have to protect her from the Heartless while climbing the mountain, total downer. -Olaf Who doesn't love Olaf? This cute, cuddly, goofy supporting character is the perfect comic relief for this world. Innocent, yet protective of his friends. -Kristoff Not much to say about Kristoff, only that he would appear as a supporting character. So you can see that Frozen seems like an interesting pick so far for KHIII. What one could debate about is how they will fit fighting in this setting. The answer to that is simple. Greed. You all know it, one of the seven deadly sins, it is what our two villains represent, Hans and the Duke of Weselton. The greed in their hearts gave birth to darkness, and in turn allowed them to summon the Heartless, hence, Sora is needed to see through to their destruction. Another boss battle could be Marshmallow, outside Elsa's castle, either with him being possesed by Heartless, or simply denying Sora access to the castle during his first visit. I'm not sure if anyone needs more proof that Frozen is a mandatory option for KHIII, however, there is one thing that could cripple all of Frozen's possibilities... TURNING IT INTO A MUSICAL WORLD LIKE ATLANTICA FROM KHII!!! I actually loved atlantica from KHII, however Frozen is a world so versatile it could be anything.... Just let it be anything but that.
  23. Last time we saw Namine in her older appearance/KH2 she reunited with Kairi but the answer Im searching for is do you think Namine will have a greater role in KH3. I have always liked her character in the series. Is it possible for Namine to wield a keyblade and what do you think will happen to her could she possibly be one of the seven guardians of light.
