I find it to be criminally underused, since you can only use it in the Final Episode, and you barely even get it. And when people DO get it, they act like morons and never do it correctly.

Other than the main keyblades (Terra,Ven,and Aqua's keyblades,both beginning and second form keyblades, as well as Eraqus's), which keyblade from BbS is your favorite? It can be stats-wise or looks-wise, just put your reason why you chose that. My favorite keyblade is probably the Sweet Stack keyblade, mostly because all of its hits are critical hits.

So, I keep trying to beat Mysterious Figure, and about halfway through the battle, he just disappears! It happens with every character. It must be a glitch or something, but every time I try and redo the battle, it just doesn't work.

Would anyone know where I could find a map of Radiant Garden? I found other levels' maps on KHWiki, but not this one, which is strange. EDIT: By the way, I am looking for maps to look at, not in-game maps.

Has anyone just gotten Break Time as Ven, put on some music from your, MP3 player, phone or tablet and played it as Ven used Break Time? I have...and it's pretty cool.

Anyone got some advice for the last few Unversed battle missions with the highest rank? I'm doing them with Aqua and need help with Deep Space, Neverland and Keyblade Graveyard.

I need to defeat 9,999 Unversed to unlock the Secret Episode, what's the best place for defeating as many Unversed as possible in the shortest amount of time?

Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, I'm very excited and very happy because today I platinumed Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and well, here I want to show the results of my work! Gahhh, I'm so happy that I got the Platinum Trophy!!! This was worth it! Now, I just need to watch Re:Coded and read the reports, and I'll have officially gotten all the trophies for all the Kingdom Hearts games I own on my PS3!!! (I had watched Re:Coded about two months ago at my best friend/soul brother Jonathan's house, so since I watched it there, I decided I'd focus on KHII FM and BBS FM and then head back to Re:Coded!) Gahh, I feel so accomplished! :')

[Mild spoilers for Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep - Final Mix] This holiday I picked up a preowned PS3, KH 1.5 and 2.5, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 with some money I received. I played KH2 on normal and beat it, and then started BBS and decided I wanted a challenge. So I started it on critical as Ven. It was not particularly hard or easy, it seemed to be a good balance of both. I mean I grinded a lot and got about 10-20 levels higher than the world's level. But then I got to the second to last Vanitas boss fight. Dear Lord, I kept on getting floored and losing thirty seconds into the fight. Eventually by some stroke of luck I was able to defeat him, and then I started the last boss fight. I take back that last fight being hard, that was a piece of cake compared to this fight. My last attempt was January. I would have completed it by now, but I have been at college. So studies come first. But finals are next week. So you can bet that I am going to finish this game soon. So that was my first critical playthrough experience of a Kingdom Hearts game. What was yours?

How many of you actually LIKE playing as Terra and don't find it a chore and/or prefer playing as Ven or Aqua?? Terra is my absolute favorite character to play as and I hate seeing people complaining about him. It makes me sad.

What's the highest total boost you've had during a command board game, and on which board did it happen? For me, the highest total boost was 77% on the Secret Board.

Remember that this does NOT work for the original BBS. Only BBSFM either on PSP or in 2.5 HD ReMIX So there's a secret to getting loads of medals really quickly in BBSFM. So first off, you need to have the following things unlocked: The Monstro Mirage Arena Mission the Rhythm Mixer Command Style and the Pixie Petal Keyblade. Having a high magic stat doesn't hurt as well. So equip Pixie Petal and make sure your deck looks like this: Mega Flare [LVL. 6] Mine Shield [LVL. 4] Mine Shield [LVL. 4] Mine Shield [LVL. 4] Mine Shield [LVL. 4] Mine Shield [LVL. 4] Mine Shield [LVL. 4] Curaga/Cura/Cure [LVL. 4] (just in case) Mine Squares will work as well, but they aren't as efficient. Use Mega Flare right away when you have control of the character. This should take out all the Unversed from the first wave. You should be immediately taken outside to Monstro. You should already be in the Firestorm Command Style. Monstro should be to your left. Knock the first barrel (the one on the main island) towards him, then Air Slide over to the closest island and knock the barrel on that one towards him too. He should now be stunned. Air Slide over to Monstro and land on his tongue. Start spamming Mine Shields until you achieve the Rhythm Mixer Command Style, and then slash away at him. Keep going, using more Mine Shields if so desired, until you can use the finisher for Rhythm Mixer. Use it, and finish Monstro off. You can typically do this in under a minute if everything goes as planned (my personal record is fifty four seconds), thus you'll get extra medals for having finished it in under seven minutes. So, in total, you'll achieve over seven hundred medals every time you do the mission. If you mess up and Monstro still has a little bit of health left, immediately Air Slide over to the main island and use a Mine Shield. Monstro likes to flop on and slam his tail on that island and if you can set up some mines there he should be damaged by them. If your Mega Flare isn't taking out all the Unversed in the first wave, check and make sure you have Pixie Petal equipped. If you do and it's still not working, you're not a high enough level. Continue on with the main story until you feel like you're a high enough level to try again. If you've finished the main story and are still having trouble, let me know and I'll tell you the easiest way to level up for all three characters. So yeah that's all I've got. It got me to 9,999 medals in no time at all, so not only do you get an Arena Level Up for that, but you also can buy a whole bunch of stuff at the Medal Shop!

I have to say, I am baffled at the sheer amount of detail in these games. Especially Birth by Sleep. I want you guys' opinions; did you prefer Birth by Sleep or Kingdom Hearts II? I preferred Birth by Sleep because of the battle system and how difficult the game was. KH2 has a fairer combat system, but I look more for difficulty rather than fairness in my games. And holy shit, that mysterious figure was beast. I loved it, despite the rages. And also, the story. It again, had me in tears because honestly the game just had a great little story to tell. The downfall of three friends, it almost reminds me of one of Shakespeare's old tragedies. I love how events were planned for, and though there are many retcons, there are also many planned reveals that people confuse for retcons. I'm also not downplaying KH2 because it was great, it's just after transcending my childhood bias, I still love it. For example, KH2 had many little subtle allusions to BBS and its characters, yet there are still people who say the entirety of BBS was random bullshit. ;-; I honestly prefer BBS, because of the varied gameplay, interesting story, insane difficulty, and Goddamn that moment when you kill an insanely difficult boss, and you let out a whoop of joy because you can breathe easy for the time being. I love it. c:

After all of the events that lead up to KH3, reexaming the past to study the future events has always fascinated me. Especially when it comes to the story of BBS. I came too realize that although the the three heroes manage to stop Xehanort creating the X-Blade, all of them payed a terrible price for their actions and over all effect on the Xehanort Saga. For those who don't know what a pyrrhic victory is, it is a victory where the costs of achieving said victory was so devastating that is dismisses or hollows out the prospect of satisfaction from the win. Over the course of playing all the character stories and the final episode, the stories of all three of them seem to fall in line with the definition. Ventus: heart was split and formed his dark counterpart Vanitas, after the power of dues ex Mach---- I mean Sora's heart ( pun on nomura logic) his heart is resorted and becomes full of light. Then is coup up in the land of departure for a couple years in order to built back strength in order to eventually fight with Vanitas. They do merge and fought inside the heart of Ventus/Vanitas until Ventus wins but his hear t becomes severely damaged, leaving him in a cosmatos state u till his heart is repaired by staying within Sora for 10+ years. Terra: goal of Keyblade master and power obsession catches Master Xehanort attention. His fear of Darkness that lurks inside of him is exploited throughout his journey. Not helping that he accidentally helps some villians and is constantly wronged for trying to do the right thing ( I blame this "trusting idiot" persona on BBS's writing), eventually is played against Eraqus on trump up fear mongering and lies, played a part in his demise, although he defats Xehanort in combat, he gets his body stolen and his lingering Will resided in the Keyblade Graveyard for 11 years until Sora encounters and faces off in combat. Aqua: despite her well deserved Master status, it causes a rift between Terra and Ventus for different reasons. Mostly played clean up for Terra's or Vetnus's Screw ups. Faced of against both friends at the clash as both were possessed by forces of Darknesses. Her fate becomes somewhat of a short term gain long term loss. Because her saving Terranort ( when Terra was about to break free of Xehanort's control) indirectly caused the invasion of the Heartless, Crearion of Organization 13 and the nobodies, and the Heartless and Nobody of Terranort causing trouble with Sora and his friends. A bit of a slippery slope yes, but not nessecarly a false dilemma. Master Xehanort said it best " the broken boy who failed to be the blade, the misguided master who sacrificed herself for a friend, and the feckless youth who became my new vessel". Despite there victoies, the costs of achieving them were too high and led to the unfortunate implications leader down the series.

So I've been doing the secret bosses and other optional stuff... however, Mysterious Figure.... WHY SQUARE ENIX!? This boss is so unfair because he likes to kill you when you haven't got a chance to heal(*Cough*Clones*Cough*) and that you have to mash Square all the time. If anyone has any tips on this boss can you help me? And yes, I'm trying the Thunder Surge Strat(Also, I'm around lvl 30-ish, I'm using Void Gear, and I'm trying this as Aqua first).

I was just thinking about something, I'm not sure if it's been explained or not before, but why does the X-Blade have two Kingdom Keys crossing? And another thing, it's said that all the normal Keyblades were man-made and passed down, made to kinda be like the original X-Blade. So what if Sora has (one of) the oldest Keyblade(s), too? I just re-watched the new Re:Coded cutscene that was in 2.5 to be sure, because I knew it says something about Xehanort having "the most ancient" of Keyblades (and it does), so Sora can't actually have the oldest... Maybe someone took "forging Keyblades in the likeness of the X-Blade" too literally and copied a design on it? Or maybe there's something deeper about it that we (I) don't know yet, but whatever.

Hey guys, i'm bringing this topic due to the content of the leading Kingdom Hearts games and what i see what is about to happen in Kingdom Hearts 3. According to several websites and LORE, in the first Kingdom Hearts game, Sora is 14 years old. And after the events of Kingdom hearts 1 and Chain of Memories, Sora turns 15 in Kingdom hearts 2. Now in the kingdom hearts series, we get no clue of Sora's parents or his life after age 4 in Birth By Sleep or before untill age 4 in Kingdom Hearts 1 when he is 14. In Kingdom Hearts 2, Sora has explaimed on many different occasions his true colors... In which i mean his more aggresive side. for example, in Kingdom hearts 2 when sora back talks Hades and calls him a "Low Life", i think Sora had his point made then and there saying Hades was nothing more than...Nothing. He also shows what we may call " Being Salty" when he first meets the organization in Hallow Bastion on the first visit in Kingdom hearts2. He covers up for the things he doesn't understand with childish come backs. And since in Kingdom hearts 1 the game was fresh and new, the story with all of the other titles was still a blur and giving kingdom hearts 1 a Disney and a Square Enix final fantasy appeal, but through out the games, the story gets darker and darker which makes the game lose its Disney appeal. Now that Sora as we can assume is going to be 16 when Kingdom Hearts 3 is out and as I have also heard is the its the last of the Xehanort saga and in which we can expect the return of Ventus, Aqua, and Terra. See now, we can also assume that Ventus was also 15 or 14 in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Slep and 10 years had passed between khbbs and Kingdom hearts1, so Ventus will be 24 or 25 and aqua and Terra will be maybe 26 or 27. I can see less Disney and more Square Enix when it comes to story-line and development I wont be surprised if there is more stronger language and the violence become more at hand... This is all of my opinion on what i see the future production of Kingdom hearts. I would love to see what all you guys think of this speculation. please share your ideas

So after the travesty that was my first topic, I decided to make this one. So, at the end of his...interesting playthrough of Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Darksydephil said that he was going to play Birth by Sleep sometime in the future. I can only wonder how he's going to ruin BBS, since he originally called it supplementary material,and that it wasn't important to the story because it wasn't numbered. Anyway, how do you think he's going to ruin Birth by Sleep, since he ruined the first two games?

Having just heard about the death of Leonard Nimoy, all I can say is that he lived long and prospered.This year has seen the deaths of both Chikao Ōtsuka and Leonard Nimoy, and while Master Xehanort may not have been one of the greatest people in the world, these two men who provided his voice sure were. After watching so many YouTube videos about the series, reading many of the threads here on the site, and learning about the story of Chi and AAAAAAALL of the theories out there, I have come to one conclusion: I am utterly lost when it comes to the KH lore now. Like stupidly lost. Like, I'm playing a game whose story is just slapping me in the face every second while I like it. By asking the following questions, I know I'm probably gonna get the classic, "why start a new thread, all the answers are ______" ; " so and so already answered ______________" ; "here's the link to find out ___________ and __________" etc. But at least for my sake and love of the series,I guess I'd like to have once single page to get CLEAR and maybe DEFINITIVE answers to the mind boggle I have right now. Here goes: 1. In KH1, Sora could only WIELD the keyblade because of Ven's presence in his heart. I know that Sora never got his OWN k'blade, but by the end of the game, the k'blade CHOSE him over Riku due to Riku's entanglement with darkness even though it was initially Riku's keyblade. True or False? (if true, then sora won't lose the keyblade that chose him even if Ven's heart leaves him in KH3?) 2. KH1: When Sora releases his heart to release Kairi's with the Keyblade of People's Hearts, his Nobody Roxas is formed. Right? Right. But does Ven's heart get transferred into Roxas or does it stick around with Sora all the time? Just want to make sure... This also reminds me of something I read on this site: 2b. Since Roxas=Sora's Nobody and Nobody= Body left behind by Heartless, I read somewhere on here that after the events of KH1 and all through out CoM until Roxas merges with Sora in KHII, Sora is theoretically a "walking heart" since Roxas has his "left behind body" until the end of Roxas' story? Or does Sora recoup his body as seen in KH1 and Roxas... also keeps his body...? Does that have any merit or am i really just out of my mind?? 3. Roxas dual wields because of Sora and Ven, or because of Sora and Xion? And Sora can dual wield because of Ven and because he got the synch blade ability from Roxas after merging, right? 4. I played DDD when it first came out and im fuzzy on the story as of now: So Roxas and Xion grew their own heart after a while and there's a possibility of them coming back as their own people person in KH3? 5. ... If 4 is true.. does that mean that Sora, as of the end of DDD, is housing 3 hearts: Ven, Roxas, and Xion? Or does the fact that Xion is at this point a forgotten memory made from memories disqualify her from ultimately coming back? (Which, incidentally, leads me to another question: IF Roxas & Xion grew a heart, then that means Axel did too. If Lea is back due to his HL/NB being destroyed.. does that mean that Lea would then house Axel's new grown heart in him? or does the new heart thing not apply to his happenstance and is still just one heart?) Too many questions. Gonna go lie down now.

So, on a more serious note than before, how did Scrooge get to Radiant Garden in KHBBS? It's a question that's been bugging me for quite a while.

Well, I always start KH games in beginner mode in order to obtain 100% completion (or as close to it as possible) and then I move on to critical in order to unlock any secret stuff. That's what I did in 2.5 too but I somehow managed to unlock the secret episode in beginner without playing critical. I just finished all of the 3 stories and I was level grinding with Terra and when I saved it said that I unlocked it! I searched everywhere on how to unlock it in beginner mode but everyone says it's impossible!! Does anyone have any idea on how I did it? Because I haven't!!!
