On Square Enix Boutique's pre-order page for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ has been confirmed for a release in France within a short description of Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover. Below is an English translation of what you will find on the site Thanks go to KH13 member Lady_Junky for the find.
  2. The Australian Classification Board has rated Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ "G", for everyone. This rating, which appeared on the online database on September 3, 2015, is the first indication that Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will be releasing outside of Japan and North America. An Australian release is now all but confirmed, and with that we can also assume a European release. However, it is still unclear if the game will be localised into other European languages.   3. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is now available to download in Japan via the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for iOS & Android devices respectively. You can view the app listings on both stores with the links below, with system requirements provided. Unfortunately, most users will be locked out of downloading the app from the stores directly, as the app is restricted to Japan-only. However, there are ways to get around this and you can check out our iOS guide and Android guide for installing the game outside of Japan. iOS Android Additionally, Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the Kingdom Hearts series has released a sketch to celebrate the launch of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. It features Ephemera and Chirithy. You can view it below. Lastly, here are the title screen opening movie and the tutorial opening movie for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ: Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a port of the Japan exclusive web browser game, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] for iOS & Android devices. It is a free-to-play app with optional in-app-purchases. It has been confirmed for a release in North America, unfortunately there has been no announcement at this time of when it will release in English or other languages.

In the credits for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, found under settings we have noticed Success Corporation, the developers of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] were one again contracted by Square Enix to co-develop Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ for iOS & Android. However, unlike Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] which was handled by Square Enix's Business Division 11, Square Enix's Business Division 3 were working on this title. Business Division 3 is of course the Business Division where the Kingdom Hearts team is hard at work on Kingdom Hearts III. Square Enix also has two other titles in development in BD3 with the 25th anniversary title for SaGa and World of Final Fantasy. Don't be confused though, these are different teams. Shinji Hashimoto is the corporate executive of Business Division 3.
  5. A new development communication has been posted to the Square Enix Bridge website by Kingdom Hearts series director, Tetsuya Nomura. This communication goes into detail about the types and number of quests you will see in Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, the updates they plan to make monthly, and how the story may tie into future of the Kingdom Hearts series.   6. Square Enix has revealed the app icon for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. It shows King Mickey and the playable character. They have also revealed the app will take up nearly 800 MB on your device. You can view the icon below.
  7. Services for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ are now officially online for both iOS & Android devices in Japan on the Japanese Google Play Store & Apple App Store. In order to play Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ you are required to go through some steps to get passed the region lock. Square Enix has announced Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will be released in Japan via the Apple App Store & Google Play Store for iOS & Android devices respectively on September 3, 2015 at 12PM JST. That's September 2 at 8PM PST and 11PM EST. It will be available for download from 12AM JST for iOS & Android devices on the same day but the service will not commence until 12PM JST, 12 hours later. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a port of the Japan exclusive web browser game, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] for iOS & Android devices. It is a free-to-play app with optional in-app-purchases. It has been confirmed for a release in North America.
  9. Square Enix has announced their line-up for Tokyo Game Show 2015, and among them is the upcoming iOS & Android title, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. The title will have some form of video available, most likely a launch trailer. It is currently unknown if it will be playable but it would be likely with the game scheduled to be released this month. Kingdom Hearts III is not among the line-up however.
  10. Square Enix has posted a new video on their official Twitter page for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ which shows Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ running smoothly on an iPhone 4S. The iPhone 4S is a pretty old phone, having been originally released in October 2011 which is a very good sign for those with old iOS & Android smartphones and tablets hoping to play the game.   11. The official press release Twitter account for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, run by series director Tetsuya Nomura, has revealed that the game may release next week in Japan. These clips take place in a variety of different worlds and show off the core mechanics of the games, such as conversations, medals, raid boss battles, and touch screen functions.   14. Within the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, the upcoming iOS & Android title, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ was featured. In the recent issue of Famitsu Weekly they discuss more on the game mechanics and how the game will work in terms of the battle system, and strengthening your player in the game.   15. Pre-registration for the upcoming iOS & Android game, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is now open for Japan. Those who pre-register will be treated to some special smartphone wallpapers featuring artwork of the game. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ will launch during September 2015 for Japan. Along with the announcement of opening pre-registrations, an official Twitter account was created for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ via @KHUX_PR. You can view all the smartphone wallpapers below.   16. Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the Kingdom Hearts series, has announced some new character customisation details for Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ via the game's official Twitter account. The player will have the ability to change their face, hair color, outfits and gender at any given time within the game, rather than just at the start of the game as in Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. Other details were revealed, including that the game is in its last stage of fine-tuning before services are commenced.   17. In the latest issue of Famitsu Weekly, the upcoming iOS and Android title, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ was featured. Within the issue of Famitsu Weekly, details were given about the upcoming title such as it's medals system and the Keyblade upgrade system. As you play through Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ you can make your character stronger by strengthening your medals abilities and upgrading your Keyblade. In the issue they also explain how the controls in the game are optimized for smartphones and other mobile devices as well as going into detail about Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]'s 2nd anniversary, in which the game was originally released in July 2013.
