Before people say the obvious that Twilight Town and Destiny Islands can't be located in the same world due to one being in the realm of light and the other in the realm inbetween, hear me out- whilst this is unlikely there is a possibility this might have some truth. I'll split this Into 2 sections- firstly the worlds as a whole; secondly in terms of character relations and links to to symbolism. 1) let's start of with Destiny Islands- in a playable function we only play on what I will dub the ' small Island' where we have the mysterious cave etc. However that is not the only section of the island in fact we have a ' main island' where we know they have housing; an education system and a sort of governance hinted at when Kairi is said to be staying at the Mayor's house. Politics aside this is where things start to come into place, outside of the village area we see a mountain/volcano in the distance. Moving on to Twilight Town; again we only see a snip bit of the overall world and from the clock tower we see a huge viewpoint of the town ( including areas of the town we haven't seen; a vast woodland area) and the return of a mountain. Now here's the semi interesting part, if you observe the cutscenes where the mountain is visible from both Destiny Islands and Twilight Town you'll notice they are parallel to each other- meaning that if it is the same mountain then it would make sense it being the same due to how it is viewed from either world). Before people think this is a geography lesson bare with me a little bit longer please 2) Destiny Islands as people know is the home world of SRK and even Master Xehanort; I'm specifically focusing on Sora here in relation to the symbolism element. If you take Sora as the symbol of light and thus dub the islands as the 'light' then let's consider Twilight Town. The birthplace of Roxas and Sora's nobody, where there is light there is always a shadow cast so it makes sense for worlds follow suit. Back to the mountain ( sorry) if you understand the concept that the symbolism between the world's could relate to Sora's heart, then consider the Mountain to be Sora's heart ( well symbolically) in that case like Roxas resides on other side of Sora's heart, then Twilight Town resides on the other side of the Islands. Also you would then have a constant connection between Sora and the worlds he shares a connection with. In the case of Destiny Islands and the light ( Riku and Kairi) and in the case of twilight town ( Roxas; Xion and Namine). Another add on is Sora's translation as ' Sky', now it might well be plausible that both worlds share the same ' sky' ( symbolic to Sora's heart) and instead of being separate worlds might be one of the same.

Here are my predictions for what certain hallucinations might say to whomever he/she is most connected too. "As much as I like to see this idiot crush you three idiots, I can't let that happen! I'm inside of you! I don't know why yet. The thing is, if you go, I go." Vanitas to Sora. If he, Donald, and Goofy run into Pete before a boss fight. "I should advice you not to tell HER about me. If you think she could be an ally, you're wrong. She'll electrocute us if she knows that I'm inside of you. She really hates me." Namine to Kairi. If she runs into Larxene's original self. That blonde Nobody was in an "extremely foul mood" over Namine leaving the room she and Axel were in. Heck, she probably doesn't know that Namine joined with Kairi yet. "I really like this kid's backstory. He even tried to punish some guy that done him wrong. You really need to step up Sora." Vanitas to Sora. We all remember what Hiro did after learning Yokai's true identity. "If you're starting to consider thinking that your trust in Lea is misplaced, you're just letting HIS words get to you." Roxas to Sora. If Vanitas keeps bringing up the fact that Axel got Kairi kidnapped in the first place. Actions speak louder than words after all. "If you're starting to think that your trust in Lea is misplaced, you're agreeing with me." Vanitas to Sora. In response to above. "You have been improving since your time in the Realm of Sleep. Remember how you fully didn't learn about me until Riku told you? No offense, but I asked myself if you not catching on was someone's idea of a joke." Roxas to Sora. If it comes to character development. "This King Candy is capable of changing memories. He better not do it to change personalities, I know how that works." Namine to Kairi. If the world of Wreck-It Ralph appears in the game. And if Kairi was present when Ralph interrogated Sour Bill. That's all I can think of.

Ok so unfortunately we only know a handful of what the 13 Darknesses consist of. and it's assumed at the end of DDD that at least 12 of them are set I stone. Aside from trying to figure out what the rest of them are, why is Xehanort looking for a certain 13th? Why doesn't he just go to another point in time and fine another him in the past? Is he trying to shorten the possibilities of a stronger team for the lights? Just who exactly do you think is next in line after sora to be important enough to Xehanort to call him/her his number 13?

Honestly, Roxas should have been the main character of KH2. Why? Let me explain. In KH1, Sora was fine in the first game, he has a purpose and goes off to save his friends and remove heartless to save worlds. The plot was excellent for the first title, and characters plots were fine. Sora was a bit cheesy, but he's fine. And then we get to KH2, we get a new main character, Roxas, much more realistic with his interaction with other characters. (So much, that I highly prefer the KH2 friend group than Sora-Riku-Kairi) Roxas then starts getting some weird memory experiences. At this point, I started to think the game is going to be much different than the campy and cheesy feel of KH1, the plot felt more similar to a Final Fantasy game, using many of the same story telling techniques (the confusing one's, good or bad, are at least a step up from KH1). As you get to know Roxas more as well as the Organization XIII who keeps on following him, I actually develop an interest, a genuine interest that I never felt once with Sora. As we reach the climax of the virutal Twilight town scene, I was expecting Roxas to go out and explore the worlds, find out who he truly is, find Xemnas.. do something. But the game trolls me, completely halting the plot at that moment and switching to Sora. I was unhappy. Roxas had a purpose in the plot, he had a motive to explore and they switch us to Sora, who now has no purpose or motive other than "kill more heartless and nobodies" which completely and utterly contradicts the first game and only lower's anything he did in the first game to mere uselessness. So Nomura decided to exchange a good character with and interesting motive with great antagonist, with a purposeless rehash of the last game to make 70% of KH2 feel like empty prancing over disney worlds? wtf

Kingdom Hearts 2 introduced Nobodies. Shells created from the most strongest of hearts. Every nobody has a heartless and longs to have a heart to feel re-complete again (in which their heart is contained by a heartless). That all changed when Kingdom Hearts 3D attacked! Xemnas stated that "Nobodies eventually grow a heart of their own over time!". So, in technicality, the definition of a nobody has changed slightly. So, I need clarification, what exactly is a nobody supposed to be post Kingdom Hearts 3D?

Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, a few days ago, I started making this drawing, which I called "Another Side." Take a looksie! I finished up the drawing two days ago, and I liked how it turned out! As you can see, the raindrops leave little splashes when they hit the ground and the puddles, and when Roxas walks, you can see the ripples form around his feet. Overall, I liked how this drawing turned out! I hope you all enjoy it!

KH3D A Little Detail I Noticed in DDD Intro.
Master Eraqus posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - General
So I decided to watch the intro of Dream Drop Distance just for fun but I decided to slow down the video at the end (the part where it shows the final battle between Xehanort and the Guardians of Light) and I noticed that Roxas at the end is wielding both Oblivion and Oathkeeper. You can definitely see Oblivion in his right hand but can't actually see Oatkeeper, except for its keychain. It's nothing really important or anything special. Just thought it'd be interesting to show. Here's the pic: -
In the cutscene where Sora gains most of Roxas' memories, I've been thinking recently. Is that just an illusion of Sora's dreams, or is that Roxas' consciousness? I said most of his memories, because of what happened in 358/2 Days.

After going through Tales From The Borderlands (at its 3rd episode right now) and Batman: Arkham Knight, a thought occurred to me. Could Sora and/or Kairi have one of those spirits where only they can see? For examples, 1) back in the first game, a projection of Kairi appeared when you first enter Merlin's house. 2) I'm sure that one of the KH3D cutscenes at TWTNW counts. Even though Roxas was only a "dream illusion". 3) We all remember that part in The City of Bells where Young Xehanort appeared to Sora, telling him that he made his heart a prison. Then Vanitas showed up next to YX and both of them mentioned that Sora is not the prisoner. The point is, Namnie and/or Roxas might appear as illusions that only their respective other halves can see. And so will Ven to Sora maybe. They might recount experiences that was never mentioned, and never saw happen. For better understanding, look up TV Tropes on Spirit Advisor.

I have recently sent to "TheGamersJoint" a message offering this theory, and here it is : Hey Cynic, I've been watching your videos for just a few days ever since KHIII's trailer came out, and you actually caught my attention with how dedicated you are to share information about the franchise. For a while, I've been thinking of something that maybe not many of thought of it this way, but hear me out. I believe that calling Roxas as Sora's nobody is a grave mistake, and this could mean many things for the future of the franchise. To start things off, I have watched your video concerning the famous question "Why does Ventus look like Roxas?", as you clarified it with the events linked with KH1 and KHBBS. However, there is still a concern with, like you said in that video, saying that Roxas IS Sora's nobody. I believe it isn't the case. Let's start with obvious basics of what has been thought to Sora : When someone gives in their heart to the world, a heartless and nobody is born from that person. An example of this is Xehanorth with Ansem and Xemnas. But let's notice something : they have nothing in common in physical appearances. We can say the same for Naminé and Kairi ; originally thought to be linked. But, it's interesting ever since KHDDD where, at the end of the game, most of Organization XIII members, after awaking from their slumber and being "restored" to people, they look the same? This nobody theory seems controversial to me. From KHBBS' information, it has been shown that Ventus has been accepted in Sora's heart to dorm in while his body sleeps after his battle against Vanitas. Like in your video where you talk about this topic, I believe it is correct to say that Ventus was released in KH1 where Sora "sacrifices" himself for everyone he held in his own heart. However, this is the key part to understand WHO we see as "Roxas" appears into Twilight Town for the first time. He appears infront of Twilight Town's mansion, speechless. Shortly, Xemnas appears out of the blue to adress "Roxas". As he introduces him to his identity, I sincerely believe that Xemnas had Xehanorth's point of view over the situation. He saw this as a new chance to take this as a vessel of darkness. Let's call, "Roxas", Ventus, as I'm positive it is actually him. Ventus then gets renamed ROXAS, a code name for SORA. It is even further obvious to me that the boy we see is Ventus with vacant memories of his true past, because of the following reasons. 1: Xion's creation. She was made out of memories purely, just like a heart is in the world of Kingdom Hearts. The distinction from both is that Xion was modelled from Sora while Ventus had a share of his own core with Sora's, which permitted him to even exist again. 2: The controversial point I stated earlier in KHDDD, where Organization XIII reborns as their identical selves physically, is noticeable with Sora and Ventus : Ventus returns to Sora without Sora changing. 3: It has been mentionned in multiple games (KH2, KH358/2 Days for example) that it's surprising to see a Keyblade wielder as a Nobody. If no other Nobody has ever been able to wield a keyblade, shouldn't this be a notice that Ventus isn't a representation of a true Nobody? Doesn't a Keyblade choose a master to reflects a sense of purity inside of themselves, like Sora shows in KH1 VS Riku? 4: If Nobodies truly cannot feel, why is it that Ventus could feel remorse for the people he loses, like Xion? 5: Isn't a coincidence that Ventus starts again a life exactly the way he was found by Xehanorth in KHBBS, how he had NO clue of who he even was? These things have been connecting in my mind for a long time. Make this into a video of what you think. Because, the point of all of this, is : If it only was Ventus, we have not truly seen who Sora's nobody is. If this is correct, KH3 might reveal the true secret behind the creation of nobodies. EDIT : Chucky the Wise And Flaming Lea Were both VERY helpful people to answer questions, check them out!

In Another Side, Another Story - Deep Dive, the one time we see Roxas's eye, it's yellow. In DDD, Young Xehanort said something about Roxas being a worthy candidate for a Xehanort vessel before becoming too aware of himself. This leads me to think that Roxas was beginning to become a Xehanort, like with Saix and Xigbar. If Roxas did become a vessel for Xehanort...Sora wouldn't have woken up, and Xehanort wouldn't have anyone to stand in his way.

A while ago, I made a thread about what Kairi and Lea's roles in KHIII might be. I decided to do the same for two of my favorite characters in the entire series who I hope play some kind of role in the next game... and Xion. But seriously, these characters are sort of irrelevant in current canon; they got cameo shots in DDD and will certainly at least appear in KHIII, but it's unclear just how relevant they will be come that time when KHIII is released sometime in, I don't know, 2019. So let's start off with this first: Roxas, Namine, and Xion's biggest bullet point for them right now is that they are connected to Sora in some way and must be "saved" by him. Roxas, even though, it's not outright stated, nor do a lot of people really bring it up, but I think he wants to have his own heart once again so that he can be with Lea and his Twilight Town friends again. Yeah, I know he sort of got all martyr-y about it in DDD, but you saw how Sora reacted too: he wants to give his Nobody a heart. So it's pretty much gonna happen. Meanwhile, Namine definitely wants Sora to full remember the bond they formed in Castle Oblivion and, in general, be Sora's friend (I honestly don't know how much of COM Sora remembers right now, it could be most of it, it could be some of it, but to me he doesn't seem like he remembers a lot, so bear with me on this claim.), and Xion wants to rekindle her bond with Roxas and Lea, obviously. Now, beyond that, what they do for the story is sort of up in the air. I mean, some people think that Roxas may become a Guardian of Light, but I highly doubt that. Xion is a little too far-fetched for me too. We could also do go the obvious route with Namine and, you know, give her a Keyblade and make her do something with that, but honestly, that scenario isn't really in my favor. One reason because, like other people, I don't think its a smart idea to start handing out Keyblades Oprah style; we have enough of those already, and another reason is because Namine is unique with her power over memories, so she should keep that uniqueness. Heck, maybe that could be used in the story somehow. I honestly don't have a concrete answer for this one. I had one for Kairi and Lea, but this one could go in a lot of different directions, but hey, that's why we have the forums. I jus want Roxas and Namine to do something (Xion, I guess...) but what do you guys think? What do you see Roxas, Namine, and Xion doing in KHIII, if they even should do anything significant at all?
