  1. EDIT: According to Wikipedia it was rated TV-MA "due to some instances of profanity, crude humor and adult situations". Apparently, Axis Powers Hetalia is rated TV-MA. When I tried to watch it from the FUNimation channel on YouTube, this is what I got: "'Hetalia: Axis Powers - Hetalia: Axis Powers (SUB) - 1 - Episode 1' The video you have requested has been rated "TV-MA" and may not be appropriate for younger audiences You are currently ineligible to view this content, please click "Back" and select another video." ...
  2. I know that this subject is a bit broad but this basically covers any moment which you consider your favorite out of any TV series and animated series etc. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=zPBhTD-vmgU I finished watching Attack on Titan recently, it is the first anime I have properly sat down and watched and this moment really stuck out to me, the whole that no one died in vain and the symbolism of the light shining through the gate as it gets sealed just really stuck with me, many of the reasons of why I (and many others) love this show. What are yours? I haven't vastly covered anything since there are many shows which have moments which I love, but this one has stuck with me more recently.
  3. So I was watching American Dad and one of the episodes ends with the main character walking into a room(filled with cast members i think), sneaking up on an unknown character and hugging him From what I've found out he was either a friend of one of the animators and worked in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police or a cast member who was supposed to star as a character in the episode(possibly both?). He was killed when a hit and run driver smashed into his cruiser. ;~;
  4. So for any Sherlock fans you would know what happened at the end of season 2. If you haven't seen it then go watch it and if you don't go watch it then this will contain spoilers. A while ago one of my friends and I discussed what could've happened with Sherlock's fall. Naturally we all thought he was dead, but we also should've known that this is Sherlock and somehow he will survive. So here are the theories my friend and I came up with: -Soft concrete was used -He used a drug that stops your heart for a certain amount of time Any other theories or anything you want to add on to these theories?
  5. Note: Please don't discuss anime (Asian/Japanese cartoons). I'll start us off ^_^. I've started watching Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, I just finished S01E06: The Hunted.

  8. "Sonic the Hedgehog, the iconic video game character who has brought his trademark speed and attitude to four TV series and more than 70 video games, is returning to television in his first-ever CG animated series in the fall 2014. The action packed comedy series aimed at children 6-11 will debut first on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and on CANAL J and GULLI in France, with a global rollout to follow. The initial order of 52 eleven-minute episodes is co-produced by SEGA of America Inc. and Genao Productions. Sonic Boom is a character-driven comedy that leaves a trail of robot wreckage in its smoldering wake. The series centers on Sonic, his best friend and sidekick, Tails, their never-ending search for adventure, and their battles with Sonic’s arch-nemesis, Dr. Eggman. Rounding out the ensemble are fan favorites Knuckles and Amy Rose, plus a rogue’s gallery of enemies—some familiar to Sonic fans and some brand-new. Evan Baily, Donna Friedman Meir, and Jane McGregor, Executive Producers for SEGA, packaged the series, bringing together SEGA, Cartoon Network, and Genao Productions. Sandrine Nguyen and Boris Hertzog, Executive Producers for Genao, assembled a world-class lineup of partners in France, including broadcasters GULLI and CANAL J, Lagardere Entertainment Rights and Lagardère Active TV Licensing & New Business. Baily, Meir and Nguyen developed the series, and Hertzog and McGregor structured the financing and negotiated all the deals. Baily (formerly EVP of Production and Creative Affairs for Classic Media) and Co-Executive Producer Bill Freiberger (The Simpsons, Drawn Together) are showrunners. Takashi Iizuka, the head of Sonic Team and driving creative force behind the Sonic games, is overseeing the series to ensure that it’s true to the Sonic characters and universe." _ _ _ _ "#SEGA ANNOUNCES NEW ANIMATED SERIES BASED ON ICONIC BLUE HEDGEHOG – SONIC BOOM (Working Title) – COMING IN FALL 2014 First CG-Animated Sonic the Hedgehog Series, A Co-Production with Genao Productions, Set To Premiere on Cartoon Network in the U.S. and on CANAL J and GULLI in France We will keep you updated on this as more is announced." I was shocked about this more than Kingdom Hearts III O.o
  9. I really am a fanatic by the walking dead and i want to know if someone like it to. My favourite character is Daryl Dixon
  10. Its like a british version of the office, except its more of a dark comedy and is much more emotional. its really one of my favorite shows. its a Netflix exclusive
  11. I'm not sure how many other people here liked this series, but Xiaolin Showdown was an older show that ended a few years ago. It's by far one of my favorite cartoons ever, if not my favorite. They're making a sequel series called Xiaolin Chronicles (Airing August 26th on Disney ), which I'm excited for. So, I made this thread to discuss the series! So, as a first discussion question, who's your favorite character? Mine's Jack Spicer, definitely.
  12. With Power Rangers 20th Anniversary being this year, I decided to make this thread to appreciate it's long running season, but not only that I also wanted to give credit to where the true source of Power Ranger came from. For those that don't know, Power Rangers was adapted from Japan super hero show called Super Sentai which is the counter-part for Power Rangers. Not only has Japan made Super Sentai, but another suited hero show is also famous in Japan called, Kamen Rider. While Power Rangers/Super Sentai feature heavily on spandex/big robots, Kamen Riders are a more oriented motorcycle motif with more armor on their suits as opposed to spandex from Sentai/Power Rangers, and both series have crosses over multiple times. Japan has already celebrated their 35th anniversary of Super Sentai and is currently on their 37th season as we speak, while Kamen Rider celebrated it's 10th Heisei Rider Series 3years ago. Many may not know this, but Kamen Rider was adapted to America twice, Masked rider(1990s), and Kamen Rider Dragon Knigh(2009). Masked rider was once cross over with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers once, but since Kamen Rider hasn't been a huge success they stopped adapting it over here state side. Super Sentai Kamen Rider Power Rangers
  13. In World War 2 a nationalized Germany (Nazis) began to conquer the rest of Europe in an effort to make the rest of Europe concede to allegedly superior culture and genetics. In The Last Airbender, Firelord Sozin starts the hundred years war because he believes the whole world would benefit from being entirely Fire Nation, the same way Hitler believed Europe would be better off if everything and everyone was German. Throughout WW2 the Nazi's begin to commit mass genocide against the Jewish population. In The Last Airbender, The Fire Nation completely wipe out every single Air Nomad apart from out titular protagonist. The Nazi's also had technological superiority throughout the war, especially in tanks and aircraft design. The Fire Nation were the first to use tanks and build airships for combat. The Nazi's tried winning the war through the creation of a Wunderwaffe, or Wonder Weapon. Designs ranged from advanced rockets to massive guns the size of buildings, all hilariously impractical. The Fire Nation tries similar ideas as well, such as building a giant drill to get through the inpenetrable walls of Ba-Sing Sei. The Nazi's are ultimately defeated when the three major powers at the time, the US, England, and the Soviet Union (along with the help of smaller countries and resistance fighters of course) all team up to put Hitler in his place. The Fire Nation is only defeated when the Avatar assembles a team consisting of the Water Tribe, Earth Kingdom, and even members of the Fire Nation, as well as himself representing the Air Nomads. Now lets go onto Avatar: The Legend of Korra The antagonist of Season 1 are a radical group known as The Equalist. Lead by their leader Amon, who can take away people's bending, they strive to create a truly equal society. This clearly draws from the Bolshevik Revolution and all of the other major communist revolutions that took place during the Cold War. Most Equalist supporters not only come from non-benders but from the working class. Many of them work in factories and other labor jobs. In the real world, most supporters of communism stem from this same class. A major slogan in communism being, "The workers will rise!". In the end of Season 1, Amon is defeated primarily because he is exposed to be a waterbender, a blood bender to be specific. This contradicts himself and immediately causes his support to wane. A major problem with communism was that "Some people were more equal than others". While Russian peasants and laborers toiled in barely livable conditions, Stalin and other Soviet leaders lived in absolute luxery. Amon wanted to rid the world of benders when he himself was a bender. In both cases, people caught on to these inequalities and realized the failure of communism or equalism in The Legend of Korra. Yet the connection to the Cold War doesn't end there. While it's too early to say anything definitive, Season 2 of The Legend of Korra is centered around the Nothern Watertribe trying to unify with the Southern Watertribe, by force if necessary. The Southern Watertribe is willing to resist. And so, we have the same situation between North and South Korea.
  14. The bad Nothing was really too wrong about this episode other than some things were kind of mashed into the episode, they would be on about the northern tribe trying to fix what the southern tribe did wrong, then they would go onto scenes that were not even part of the story. Mako was also really not a big part of the show but that's not too bad. Another thing again in this show was it was predictable. I knew Korras uncle was leading up to do terrible things, and I believe he wants to be just like Ozai. He told Korra that it is her job to make sure that war does not happen, something Roku could not do as avatar and Aang had to save the world. The good Korra finally asked for forgiveness to her father, I saw that coming too but not in this episode. Broiling still makes the show funny. This isn't really all that good but Aang favored Tenzin, which you should expect that since the airbenders were extinct. More notes Their was no romance in this episode which is good, Korra needs to prepare for the civil war that's going on. Not a lot went on in this episode, but what can you expect from a really early episode after the premeire. I give this show 6.7/10 +Still has humor +Korra looks like she's getting ready to take responsibility. +Korra isn't blowing up in Mako -Mashed scenes -Predictable again -really slow episode
  15. So I gave the last episode some thought and formed a theory. Feel free to disagree or add something, and be wary that it's filled with spoilers, so read ahead at your own risk.In the beginning flash-forward, Walt is seen with an M60 and taking the ricin from his house, which is noteably deserted and "Heisenberg" is spray painted on the wall, with kids skateboarding in his pool in the backyard. Now, given the events of the last episode (Hank and Gomez's deaths), it's clear that Walt will want revenge for what they've done, and he joins up with the DEA to capture (or kill, given his loadout) Jack's crack squad of drug dealers and hitmen. Jesse is now a cook slave, with salt in his already deep wound with the image of Andrea and Brock at the far end of the cooking lab. Jesse's death is promised after he's done cooking for them, and with severe consequences if he doesn't. Now, Jesse isn't able to replicate the Heisenberg formula to their liking, so they call on the real deal, and with a hefty sum of his money returned as a payment. They don't kill Jesse *yet* since they know full well Heisenberg either works with Jesse, or not at all. Walt slips the ricin into Jack's food or drink, frees Jesse, and in the distraction of Jack's death, Walt either goes to retrieve his M60 or escape with Jesse, depending on what the DEA told him to do. There was another theory at the beginning episodes where Walt is shown wearing a wire, which would add a little weight to the "capture" deal. Walt discusses cooking with them, and eventually progresses to small-talk about their profession or past hits. The DEA acts based on this evidence and captures Jack's squad, and is met with assault fire as a greeting. The DEA is decimated as well as Jack's squad, but since there is less of Jack's squad then there is the DEA, they probably won't kill too many. Now that addition is a bit of a stretch, I know, since it goes off of things we know little about. But in the event that Jesse isn't killed after the cook or Walt frees him, Jesse comes full circle and is in the predicament that Walt was in. He has to secure Andrea and Brock's future, by once again, cooking meth. I would really love an ending like this because it's the one thing you least think would happen to Jesse.Anyways, take this how you will, and if you just spoiled yourself, not my fault, I warned you.

  20. On this day, 20 years ago, on August 23rd 1993. The very first episode of Power Rangers aired for the first time, and changed children's televison forever!
  21. Is annoying? I mean I know he finds Spongebob annoying, but him getting annoyed kinda annoys me. Does anyone else feel that way or do you feel sorry for him?
  22. It was confirmed at Comic Con 2013 that one of the Griffins will be killed off for good and replaced with a new character in the upcoming season. So, who do you guys will get killed off? First off, i think we can rule off Brian, Meg, and Peter. Why you ask? Well, here's why: If Brian died, this would probably make Stewie be pissed to no end, and he might end up finally going through with his world domination plan, and it would probably end up the way it did in the "Stewie kills Lois and Lois kills Stewie" episodes. If Meg died, POSSIBLY, the family would fall apart. As shown in one of the episodes from 2 seasons ago, when Meg called the Griffins out on them insulting her all the time, it was shown that they need someone to lay insults too, in order to keep stability within the family. So if she died, they'd either shift the insults to someone else, or fall apart. So there's a chance she could die, and it'd turn out alright. If Peter dies, the Series would be alot less funny. Peter is the MAJOR CAUSE of most of the plots in the episodes due to his Mental retardation causing him to make stupid decisions. Im pretty sure he FOR SURE is safe, and will not get killed. We can definitely rule Peter out for good, since he is one of the major contributors to making the episodes funny. Aside from that, i think that Chris will die. There's really not much for him to do anymore, all he really does is crack a masturbation joke every now and then, but otherwise he's been overused. Or Meg, since she's just there for taking the crap her family gives her, but im leaning more towards Chris dying.
  23. This show is awesome. Having a rough day? Just watch South Park. Haha. Funny Stuff! I AM PROFESSOR CHAOS! >D
  24. I made this topic to discuss about the upcoming season of Arrow!! Are you excited about it?? I know I am!!
