As many of you have noticed, young Xehanort and Young Eraqus look the same age in KH III's trailer, yet in Birth by Sleep, Xehanort looks much older than Eraqus, so what is the meaning of this you ask? Let's start off with Xehanort himself. He is fully immersed into the darkness. Now, think of it this way, he looks the same age as Eraqus in the trailer, but after many years, they became much older, and Xehanort was much older and determined to find a new host body to take over using the power of darkness. Xehanort is much older BECAUSE of the darkness. The darkness makes you age faster, but it only builds up over a long period of time, so that is why Xehanort is older than Eraqus in BbS. Now since it takes a long time to make a difference in someone's age with darkness, this is why Riku doesn't look older than he should be in KH2. He has only had darkness in him for a few years. So it's natural that he looks the proper age for the time in KH2. If none of this makes sense to you, ask me any questions you have with this. This is only a theory, so I'm not sure if this is the real reason.

In Another Side, Another Story - Deep Dive, the one time we see Roxas's eye, it's yellow. In DDD, Young Xehanort said something about Roxas being a worthy candidate for a Xehanort vessel before becoming too aware of himself. This leads me to think that Roxas was beginning to become a Xehanort, like with Saix and Xigbar. If Roxas did become a vessel for Xehanort...Sora wouldn't have woken up, and Xehanort wouldn't have anyone to stand in his way.

I've been thinking. In the first game we had a full party, three characters, Sora Donald and Goofy for the final battle. In CoM, while they where cards, we could still call in them for help. In KH2 we only had two characters, Sora and Riku. In 3D, even though there where no proper party members, Sora still had help from his Sprits. Do you think that in the final battle of KH3 Sora will have to fight Xehanort completely alone with no A.I. controlled party members to help? By "Final battle" I mean the very last form Xehanort takes in the series of end-game boss battles. So, you think Sora will have to rely solely on thinks he can do himself, without party member assistance? I know Kingdom Hearts is all about the "Power of Friendship" but his friends don't physically have to be with Sora to empower him and, if done right, it could be more meaningful if he can rely on them without them present.

The Foretellers Keyblade and Seekers Of Darkness
Guest posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
After I seen that all of the Foretellers keychains emblems have the eye of darkness, this made me wonder, are certain Seekers Of Darkness going to be wielding these Keyblade, or, are the Foretellers themselves going to be part of the Seekers Of Darkness? Wielded by Marluxia's somebody/Xion? Wielded by Braig/Xigabar? Wielded by Luxord's somebody? Wielded by Isa/Saix? Wielded by Terranort?- 3 replies

I've been lurking around this website and I decided it was finally time to create an account. Now, the one thing that completely baffles me is the fact that no Kingdom Hearts fan has mentioned about Adult Master Xehanort. Not Terranort (as he is Xehanort in Terra's body), but Xehanort himself as an adult. What was his impact upon the Kingdom Hearts universe? what was he able to do to set the motion of the plot? We've seen the impact of the youthful and elderly Xehanort but what about the middle aged man in between? Is Tetsuya Nomura making Ansem The Seeker Of Darkness Adult Xehanort or is he so integral for KH3 that they have to keep him secret for now?

(This theory is about Master Xehanort, which I will be simply stating as Xehanort.) My theory is that prior to Xehanort having the same master as Eraqus, he had another master who was originally a vessel of the 6th foreteller. Perhaps Xehanort's original master had passed the keyblade to him forcefully and erased his memory but leaving some hints of the keyblade he passed on. After that, Xehanort would be found by Eraqus's master and they would train together. Maybe Xehanort's original master will be the antagonist of the next saga? Evidence is that Xehanort wonders what happened during the keyblade war and will cause another just to see what would happen.

Eraqus is Sora's Grandfather
Guest posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
This may seem like another out of the blue fan-fiction but by the time that I'm done with this, you may actually consider this canon... let me explain a couple points to consider. [1] Sora is the primary character for Kingdom Hearts and Eraqus is a tribute to Square Enix (just like Yen Sid is a tribute to Disney), surely, there can be a strong connection with that coincidence alone. [2] They're both residents of Destiny Island. That may seem like nothing at first until you realise that Young Eraqus is just as careless and optimistic as Sora proven with his conversation with Xehanort when he seemed like he didn't know what Xehanort was on about. [3] Why did Sora have Eraqus Keyblade stranded on Destiny Islands? It was originally given to Aqua. Aqua wouldn't just drop the keyblade of her master let alone leave it at Destiny Islands. That seems illogical especially when you consider that she's currently trapped in the realm of darkness. Of course, I can state more reasons as to why I believe Eraqus is Sora's grandfather but there's not really much else to pull form at the moment until more information about the plot regarding Eraqus comes by...- 16 replies

Right, so we know that there are gonna be 13 Darkness vs 7 Lights. And those 13 Darknesses are gonna be full of Xehanorts. So it's probably Gonna look something like this: Darkness 1. Old (reassembled) Xehanort 2. Xemnas 3. Ansem SoD 4. Apprenticenort 5. Terranort 6. Isa 7. Braig 8. ??? 9. ??? 10. ??? 11. ??? 12. ??? 13. ??? VS Light 1. Sora (Main Character) 2. ??? 3. ??? 4. ??? 5. ??? 6. ??? 7. ??? So, what if all the lights are Sora(s)? In which case: Light 1. Sora 2. Roxas 3. Ventus 4. Kairi 5. Namine 6. Xion 7. ??? Now, in this case, I have 3 possible answers. The first is Vanitas, but that would be extremly unlikely, IMO, as he's a pure being of Darkness. Data Sora would likewise be unlikely. The second answer I came up with is that ALL of the people Sora came into contact with would be the 7th, which would be really corny and unlikely but come on, we all love that corny stuff! We're KH fans afterall! And the third, also unlikely, but significantly cooler, is that Sora and Xehanort are both part of the Light and the Darkness! What that would mean is that Sora's heart and Xehanort's heart would have to have already come into contact unknowingly and that Sora is already a Xehanort vessel. Now, I don't have any evidence to support this (maybe he stuck a piece into Vanitas just in case, but forgot about him after Ven defeated him? IDK), but it'd be really cool wouldn't it? Plus, it'd give even more narrative weight to their fight (i.e. their fight would literally count twice as much as the other L vs D fights would). And it'd make it 6 vs. 12! In other words: 1. Old (reassembled) Xehanort 2. Xemnas 3. Ansem SoD 4. Apprenticenort 5. Terranort 6. Isa 7. Braig 8. ??? 9. ??? 10. ??? 11. ??? 12. ??? 13. Sora (harboring part of Xehanort's heart) VS Light 1. Sora 2. Roxas 3. Ventus 4. Kairi 5. Namine 6. Xion 7. Xehanort (part of Sora) Just a theory I though was really cool.

(Contains Spoilers) Hello Fellow Keyblade wielders! I have a theory to tell you all today. The info I'm about to share has no photage by me at the moment, if requested, I shall record my explanation including examples. Most of us have played kh2 correct? And most have played it on kh2.5? So I'm sure some of us are aware of the 2.5 exclusive cutscene just before the demyx battle in hallow bastion.(Spoiler) The cutscene with the mysterious figure going up to ansems CPU and inserting a disk then typing "Another" and commences on typing a list of names, words etc. Then he proceeds downstairs where he strolls along a long slope into a hallway where he enters a room with aquas armour and keyblade and says "its been a long time friend" *or something like that*. Well I'm here explain my point of view, I think when he or she *you never know* was typing the list of names or words etc., the names were XEHANORT, AQUA, VENTUS, TERRA, ANSEM and XEMNAS, the names fit perfectly so I don't really know...I was just curious to see what you guys think. Let me know and share your ideas!

Here's some more alternate looking characters from Kingdom Hearts. 'Marluxia & Zeromus Fusion' ~ I had this idea when I first saw Zeromus in Final Fantasy XII. During this time, Marluxia was one of my favorite villains, so it's only natural for some fans to make some twists with the character. 'Xemnas & Maleficent Fusion' ~ It was a wild idea, BUT I DID IT! 'Saix's New Form' ~ What if Saix made a copy of Sora's DNA and mixed it with his? These drawings were also done in 2006.
© Kingdom Hearts is licensed by Disney and Square-Enix while Final Fantasy is ONLY licensed by Square-Enix.

The series really enjoys the idea of a trio when it comes to KH original characters, except when it comes to eraqus and xehanort. As we've seen in BBS, the land of departure has three thrones too, assumingly, go along with the theme of light, twilight, and darkness representing a character's alignment. Xehanort and eraqus are pretty much the bad version of kairi and riku, eraqus, trying, to embody pure light, thinking light is the only way, and xehanort thinking that light should give way to darkness so that darkness caan stand on equal ground(this reasoning doesnt make him neutral) ,...but what about twilight/neutral. If we are still going with the idea of the inverted version of the original trio, then sora, who is good neutral, should have an inverted version aswell. Could the third apprentice be true neutral and that they do not care one way or the other what happens between the realm of the light and the realm of darkness, it would explain why we have never seen them before nor why they haven't been mentioned before. Thoughts?

Ok so I was thinking about this while at work and wanted to know if you guys thought this was valid, but why couldn't xehanort just continue to turn himself into a heartless and nobody as soon as they get destroyed and he gets put back together. Now I don't know how 1 person can control a heartless and nobody of themselves at the same time but if he can control either of them then he can avoid aging. This would eliminate the need for a vessel and also make him immortal since if you destroy him he comes back only to repeat the process. What do you guys think? Another thing I'd like to add is that I never understood why xehanort went through all the trouble of finding a vessel only to go around and turn himself into a heartless/nobody, especially when he returns to his ORIGINAL form terra free after his heartless/nobody gets destroyed. Thoughts?

Now, Flaming lea has already provided evidence debunking this theory, namely that Nomura specifically said this wasn't the case but I felt this theory was too good to share, even if it is wrong. What’s the meaning behind the several puzzling images in Terra’s chapter where we cross over into his mind?"Firstly, when he hears the name of the masked boy from Master Xehanort at the mysterious wasteland, and we see an image of Aqua and Ventus defeated, that’s a hint of the future. On Destiny Islands, when he makes Riku his successor, he has a special view of him and catches a glimpse of his future. However, this isn’t to say that Terra has the ability to see the future—it was a directive nuance intended to portray the future connection between Terra and Riku." -BbS UltimaniaSo while replaying BbS, I remembered that there are hints toward Terra having some kind of precognitive power, the ability to see glimpses of the future.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=C2OiE3T9lX4As seen heart Terra seems to get a vision of the events at Keyblade Graveyard.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=mncdm144uUUHere it appears that he gets another glimpse of the future. Now for Xehanort.https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BYzaeOQ7ayMAs seen here young Xehanort says that even though he'll forget his journey through time, these events will lead him down the destined path, after all, CoM, KHII, Days, Re;coded and 3D all show that memories never really disappear completely. So, while Terra may not have precognition, what if Xehanort has some form of pseudo-precognition in which his memories of this travels through time occasionally surface, giving him glimpses of the future that seem like visions? This would explain how he's been able to plan for every possible contingency. Add in the Book of Prophecy, and it's no wonder he's always been one step ahead. But if that's the case, this may be how he finally fails once and for all. Young Xehanort said "It is the future that lies beyond my sight" His visions only lead up to the climax of 3D, meaning in KH III, Master Xehanort won't be able to rely on them and so he won't be able to form any more back-up plans. Unless he gets/has the Book of Prophecy, he can't see the future anymore.

I made this and I'm not really sure what else to do with it, so I guess I'll just post it here. It's a KH story about an original character I made up called Ziemia (Polish for earth, trying to keep up that trend) and her apprenticeship. Set pre-BBS. I originally meant for it to be longer but I decided I'd leave it hanging here. The context of the story should imply their fates. Hope you like it. ----- Ziemia sat quietly reading in her chair while her Master studied at the desk opposite her. While Ziemia filled her head with loosely fictional stories passed down through generations, her Master worked hard at unravelling the truth from the long-forgotten past. Ziemia highly admired that about her Master. He was so knowledgeable already, but he’d stop at nothing to learn even more. Meanwhile, all she ever did was drink in tales and fables even though there was still so much to learn. She didn’t mind that too much. She was still learning a lot from her Master every day and as long as she enjoyed her novels, did it matter that they weren’t real? Anyway, Ziemia found that she could learn a lot about herself by absorbing the views and thoughts of her authors and their characters and assessing them. Sometimes she did this with her Master, although that was hard to do since he didn’t see much point in them. Still, Ziemia was learning about herself through books and about the worlds around her through her Master. She was content. Yet as much as she tried to convince herself of that, she envied her Master too much to avoid comparing herself to him. His criticisms of her cut deep and her flaws were so apparent in their training against his perfections. She didn’t wholly like her Master and she certainly didn’t agree with him all the time, yet still she longed to have his power, his wisdom and above all his confidence. Whatever her differences with him were, there was nobody she respected more. Ziemia turned the page, almost at the end of her chapter. Most of the books she read were based on accounts of the heroes and villains of the Keyblade War, sometimes by surviving participants and other times by observant witnesses. They often weren’t accurate accounts (and when they were, her Master would take more interest), but Ziemia was only interested in the characterisations and stories. She loved it when one story portrayed light as the ultimate force against darkness, while another displayed darkness as the greatest power a warrior could ever wield and both would have convincing ideals behind it. Between both sides, Ziemia felt like she was learning more about light, darkness and the war than she ever did in her lessons. Her Master was quick to remind her that experience was the most valuable way to learn, but encouraged her to keep an open mind about light and darkness. Master and pupil had spent many sessions discussing the advantages and disadvantages of both light and darkness. To her Master’s disappointment, Ziemia was unwilling to utilise the darkness in her heart more than she was comfortable with. She’d never push it to be more than a dark corner of power she could weaponise in controlled bursts, afraid to try and unleash it any further. “Light and darkness are a balance,” her Master would say. “Unless you learn to balance the darkness in your heart with your light, how do you expect to reach your full potential?” “Forgive me Master,” she had replied once. “But if I’m not careful, the darkness will consume me. Many past warriors fell to their own power because they thought they were above it. Who’s to say I won’t corrupt myself? Someone could even use my own darkness against me!” “You think so?” Her Master stroked his chin, which was lately growing a small beard. “Darkness is difficult to master, yes. But once you accomplish that task, you need not ever fear it again. And you’ll never master it as long as you fear it.” “Of course, Master. But I need time. Under your tutelage, I know I’ll get there one day… It’s just not today.” “Ziemia…” He turned his head in thought for a moment. “There are times when people must take risks in order to proceed. Safety will not help you learn anything.” Yes, but it might help me live longer, Ziemia thought to herself but didn’t retort. She knew her Master was referring to her armour, which she still wore when they travelled through the lanes. Her Master was familiar enough with darkness to travel without it but she didn’t have faith that she’d cope that well. She hesitated before she next responded. “So have you mastered your darkness already, Master?” She felt nervous about the question but the old man smiled and answered easily. “Yes. But it’s not something I accomplished by cowering from it, Ziemia. You’ll understand one day.” “Of course,” she replied as she bowed. “Thank you, Master Xehanort.” *** Ziemia finished her chapter and put the book down. Her favourite character had just been killed. She always needed time to think when that happened. He’d trusted the wrong person and lost everything right when it counted. It was a dramatic, sudden and unfair end to such a worthy person. Sometimes life and death were equally cruel, but at the end of the day it was always their decisions that brought them to their close. Nobody was more at fault than their own selves. Ziemia wondered what legacy she’d leave behind; what lessons would her life set an example for teaching? She had no doubt her Master would leave greater ones, but she still hoped to match him in some way. He encouraged her to follow him in everything, but she wanted to be known for her own accomplishments and her own dreams. Characters that lived and died as somebody else’s number two were never respected and hardly loved. Besides, she knew from books that following too strictly in the footsteps of another was dangerous. If you follow the wrong person, their failures become yours. Indeed, Ziemia sometimes wondered if she was following the right person. Her Master’s knowledge was unrivalled, but his methods and ideals were highly unorthodox. She was unlikely to find a better Master anywhere else, but perhaps she should be more concerned about finding a good Master than a great one. For all his criticisms of her cowardice, she’d already taken a big risk in her life by siding with him and following in his footsteps. The pupils and teachers of her old school had been unnerved by him, but she decided to give him a chance and asked to become his apprentice. In some ways, she was glad that she did. She’d learned so much more since leaving her home and she’d never really fit in with the others anyway. There were times that she missed someone that she’d been close to, but still she’d always felt like an outcast. A friend that was never needed and rarely missed. Not that she’d come to Xehanort seeking companionship, but perhaps that was for the best. She didn’t know how to work well with people and so she was probably better off alone. All the same, Ziemia couldn’t figure her Master out. She’d lately been reading books that took time to write about character motivations: what these people were after, why they were after it, how far they’d go to get it and why they failed to achieve it. Sometimes she tried to apply this to her Master. What was he hoping to get out of all this learning? And why did he never feel the need to teach all of this history, even to her? If she didn’t understand where her Master was going, how could she claim to understand why she was following him? Master Xehanort stood up from the scrolls he was reading, a slight air of frustration around him. For some time now, they’d been spending their days travelling to whatever storehouses of records or banks of knowledge they could find. All to learn about the Keyblade War, which Xehanort appeared to already know inside-out. The more Ziemia thought about it, the more she wondered what the point was. Each time, Xehanort would absorb another vault of words, only to leave in disappointment or annoyance and repeat the process. Only now did Ziemia realise that he must be looking for something but whatever it was, he wasn’t finding it. “Ziemia, we’re leaving.” It was all he needed to say. Ziemia rose obediently, packing her book into her bag as she did so. Together, they headed out the door and into the open air, where Master Xehanort summoned his keyblade to open a gateway. Ziemia couldn’t resist a glance back at the little hut they’d just left. It seemed to have some kind of historical significance to Xehanort but even so, he had no real need of it. It was a cosy place though; the closest thing the two of them had to a home. They moved around so much, Ziemia didn’t consider anywhere a home anymore, but they stopped at this little place more frequently than others, usually just as a rest stop where the two of them would catch up on some reading. Ziemia was growing fond of it. It made her miss having a real home. Part of her even longed for a real friend, despite how much she tried to dismiss that gap in her heart. She turned back to her Master, who was waiting by the gateway. He looked at her with the anticipation of disappointment that he typically did while he waited for her to equip her armour. Ziemia was already reaching for her shoulder guard, about to summon it, when she hesitated. Maybe it was her latest reflections, maybe she was still sore from the loss in her book or maybe she was just sick and tired of never knowing what to do. Ziemia didn’t know for sure, nor did she really care. All that concerned her in that moment was stepping up and making a difference in her life. She wanted to grow beyond her Master’s shadow, to evolve as a keyblade warrior and as a person. It was a sudden spontaneous urge, a flash of desire, an impulse that meant the difference between order and chaos, light and darkness or life and death. It didn’t last, but neither did it refuse to leave a mark. Ziemia felt caught in a gravitational pull while she held on for dear life. She was struggling with the logic and sense of knowing her limits while respecting the dangers and the imbalance and ego within her that was pushing to defy her limits and make a difference in her life. She found herself at war with herself and no amount of inspirational words from the people she’d read about could put it right. There were too many factors and too many opposing sides to bring her to peace. She looked at the only real factor present, raising her eyes to meet those of Xehanort, looking to see what his reaction was. Her hand was frozen, hovering inches away from her shoulder guard; her hesitation was extremely obvious. Xehanort could see it and from the look he was giving her, Ziemia thought he looked intrigued yet doubtful. He raised an eyebrow at her, giving her the barest of smirks, as though daring her to make a move, not once saying a word, simply watching to see what she would decide. Ziemia was torn, but looking at Xehanort’s face made her lose focus. She could already see his face falling when she hit her pad; she could picture him shaking his head in shame as she passed through the portal wearing the protective gear that he loathed so much. She’d put up with his gripes at her reluctance for so long that in that moment, her annoyance took hold. She made her decision and lowered her hand. Master Xehanort’s slight smirk became a wide grin as Ziemia spurned her armour and stepped forward to travel without it. Even so, he never raised his brow, as though he were taunting her even now. As Ziemia came to a stop in front of him, staring at him with resolve, he still said nothing. He merely nodded his approval and stepped into the lanes between. Ziemia held back for a couple of seconds; one last hesitation of nerves forcing her to ask herself what she was doing. But there was no going back now. Even if she wasn’t ready, she had to make this choice. Ziemia summoned her keyblade and stepped into the darkness.

Not really sure what the spoiler policy on BBS is as it's been out for some time but spoilers below. So I just played Birth by Sleep Final Mix on 2.5 and Ventus' visit to Radiant Garden gave me some questions. How does Even know that Ven's heart is pure light? The only people who know this before TVA go on their journeys are Master Xehanort and Eraqus. So with that in mind, wouldn't Even have to be told this information by one of those two? And if Master Xehanort did share that with the apprentices, that just opens up more questions.

Just a little question, which I kinda know the answer to already, but just out of curiosity did Master Xehanort make Terra a Master? I'm replaying BbS and after defeating Braig, Terra and Xehanort have a conversation in which Xehanort says how Terra should have been the one given the Mark of Mastery, then finally refers to Terra as a Master. Did Xehanort officiate Terra with the title of Master? I'm assuming as a Master himself, he can confer the title... Or (more likely) was he just playing games with Terra, saying it in a way that's like "do what I say and that is what you'll be"? Just curious.

Soranort's Personality
SolsticeBas posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts III & Kingdom Hearts III Re Mind
What would Soranort's personality be like? I've been reading some fanfics and fan portrayals about him, and one that kinda touched my heart was a portrayal from a Tumbr user called Rxcusant; http://rxcusant.tumblr.com/ He's basically portrayed in her RPs like; he's turned into the 13th Xehanort Vessel but there's still some Sora left in him, cause of that he's deeply conflicted about what to feel and he just doesn't know what to do anymore. He sides with Xehanort and his vessels only because they're all he has left; his friends are beyond his reach, he can't run away for Kairi and Riku and all of them or Xehanort will pull him back, so he just resigned to his fate. He's not Sora like we know him; his personality became darker, colder and he has sociopathic tendencies (cause of Xehanort's fragment in him ofc) but under that layer of darkness, he's completely broken inside and he just doesn't know what to do anymore. He just wants to return to his friends and be done with all of this but he can't. Basically, kind of like Terra-Xehanort; Sora's strength of heart and Ventus inside him are fighting Xehanort's influence all the time. How would YOU guys think Soranort would be portrayed if Lea didn't save Sora in time? (Happy Holidays btw!)- 12 replies

Does that mean he's just as evil as Xehanort? Or does he mean he likes Xehanort as a character but the translator mistranslated it? I can't understand that line in that interview and I feel kinda confused and odd about it. Sorry if I'm missing something. I like Nomura as a director so no offense intended ;-) Just asking.
