  3. From Siliconera "Atlus teased a new Radiant Historia game earlier tonight, and this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine reveals it as Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology, a full remake of the original game with new scenario on 3DS. No furhter information was revealed other than Perfect Chronology being a full remake of the Nintendo DS RPG on 3DS. Additional details including a game overview and new elements for the remake will be revealed in the magazine. Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology releases in Japan on June 29, 2017 for Nintendo 3DS." ... if this doesn't interest you about the game, I'll tell you what will, Yoko Shimomura! She's composed the entire soundtrack for the game. Go support this remake once it releases! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICvr93Bz1S4
  4. A more classical and symphonic version of my "Keyblade Master" theme for Kingdom Hearts 3. I wanted to add more gravity to the piece. Less of a midi sound and more real of a sound like from 1.5 + 2.5. I also borrowed themes from my other KH pieces, like xehanorts theme and incorporated it into this new piece. Enjoy! If you're a fan of my compositions and arrangements, then please give a thumbs up and subscribe on YT for more!
  5. So, I think we can all agree here that the OST's of Kingdom Hearts as a whole is at least good right? Among these tracks there are character themes; music tracks that represent the characters with the same name and manifests them into music. So I want to ask you guys, which is your favourite and why?
  6. Hey everyone. The Symphonic Fantasies concert in London is coming up on the 6th of October (3 weeks today!). It will have orchestrated music from Square Enix titles such as Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross. Definitely worth getting a ticket to see if you live in the UK! Click here for available tickets and prices! Anyway, I writing to say as well as this concert there will also be a pre-conert talk with Yoko Shimomura; the brilliant composer behind the majority of the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack and the upcoming Final Fantasy XV! She will be discussing her influences through the years as well as answer some of the audience’s questions. As I will be attending the concert and this pre-talk, I’m writing here to get some suggestions/ideas of questions to ask Yoko Shimomura, if I can get the opportunity to! I know there are obvious questions that relate to a certain upcoming title (don’t even need to mention it here on KH13!), but I’m looking for good questions about her career and work she’s done already. If a question is subtle and not too obvious about a future title (…) I could maybe use that. Anyway message your ideas and thoughts below!
  7. https://soundcloud.com/kinode/vector-to-the-heavens-musique-pour-la-tristesse-de-xion After almost 4 months of working on this arrangement, and having just 3 days to learn the Cello part, me and my friends played it last night! I was very impressed with the support from the audience (we had a standing ovation!) and was pleasantly surprised that the school actually recorded the audio in high quality. So here's the recording, hope you guys enjoy it!
  8. The 2016 Classic FM Hall of Fame is reaching the end and once again Yoko Shimomura's amazing work in Kingdom Hearts has reached 31st place with 'March Caprice for Piano and Orchestra' from the first Kingdom Hearts game! Last year, the main theme, or Hikari 光 (Simple and Clean) Orchestral Instrumental Version, ranked at 30th place, so this year it did go down by one place but it is still amazing that Kingdom Hearts managed to stay so high in the rankings! 'The Other Promise' was also available to vote for, but unfortunately didn't make it into the final 300. There are a few other compositions though that did make it in the top 300 and also featured in Kingdom Hearts series: 'He's a Pirate' ranked at 264th (featured in Kingdom Hearts II) 'A Night on the Bare Mountain' ranked at 223rd (featured in Kingdom Hearts I & Dream Drop Distance) 'Nutcracker' ranked 61st (featured in Dream Drop Distance) 'Symphony No.6 in F major Op.68' ranked at 8th (featured in Dream Drop Distance) What do you think of Kingdom Hearts' place in the top 300? A good place for it to be or do you think it should have been better? Leave your comments below and show your appreciation for Yoko Shimomura's magnificent work throughout the franchise!

  19. Hey there everyone, how's it going!? Well then, as all of us can definitely agree, music is a powerful method of art in which instruments, vocals, and a vast array of rhythmical techniques are used to stimulate our ears and bring forth amazing and delightful songs which we can hear! And well, music being so amazing and all, some of my favorite types of music are found in video games, especially in Kingdom Hearts! I believe that Yoko Shimomura's work is godly, and she's just breathtaking! She truly has skills that are legendary! And so, with her beautiful music in mind, there's one particular song that is so amazing, epic, beautiful, yet sad at the same time, and it's a song I can't get out of my mind! It is Vector To The Heavens, BUT, a very specific version of the song! Listen below! The Memoria rendition of this song is probably the best there is! The sad tragedy of Xion can be palpably felt with each second the song passes! If the normal rendition of the song was amazing, then the Memoria version just turned it into something surreal! I seriously hope that this version of Vector To The Heavens gets used in Kingdom Hearts III, because I guarantee it would be a hair raising, tear jerking experience to hear this song play when Xion returns! :') Anyways, what do you all think of this version of Vector To The Heavens?
