  1. Seen people talk about the inclusion of Wreck it Ralph in the game, but only as a summon because getting the license to use the video game characters that appear in the movie would be too hard. My problem with this is that the video game characters that appear in the movie have no relevance to the plot at all they are just cameos, and can be taken out easily. The movie takes place mostly in sugar Rush. Game central Station could be included, but I don't feel like it's an area that would seem too odd not being full of people. The train station in twilight town is not packed, but it didn't feel too strange, and the emptiness of worlds is one of the things that really bothers me although this mostly only happens with the Disney worlds.
  2. "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny, but in ourselves." ~ William Shakespeare Once, many years ago, there was a star. Yes, just one. For a long time, it was the only star in the heavens, beloved and adored by many. Unbeknownst by its observers, the star belonged to a grand witch, one who had great and mysterious powers. She cared for the star, for it was as unique as herself. One day, however, the star disappeared. The world below, which had admired the star for years, searched frantically to recover it. All seemed lost, and the witch had returned to the world below to live out her days as an outcast. However, a small boy discovered the star, and cared for it himself. When the time came that he was to die, he made a wish that the star would once again return to the sky, and give birth to many more. The star heard the boy's plea, and it came to pass that the skies would glow with many stars. The First Star, as it came to be known, returned to the sky. The witch, witnessing the star rise up from the earth, rejoiced. At least, until many more stars became apparent. The witch left again for the skies, searching for her star, never to find it amongst the many identical ones. She cursed the earth for losing her star, and the people became ill. The stars heard the anguish below, and granted a cure amongst the people. Droplets were born, granting those who found them temporary health, for as long as 48 hours. However, it would seem that the star of old has once again fallen unto the earth below. A small village took notice, each citizen racing for a wish of their own. That is where our story begins. Take your place as the hero of your own story. Would you wish for fame? Glory? Money? Health? Looks? What should you wish for? Not only must you keep yourself alive in a harsh environment that depends on the power of Droplets to survive, but you must also beware the witch! Her search for her star has resumed once more, and she is also on her way to recover what she deems to be her property! Defend yourself from the Witch, other players, harsh environments, and even wild creatures! Be prepared to come up with some battle skills. --- This RP takes place in a Renaissance-Era Village known as Alaby [Al-ah-bee], which is quite run down, to say the least. We begin the RP the day before the night of the Starfall. Poor folk take up most of the population, who suffer from the wrath of the town Tax Collector, who... well, collects tax for the king. The downtrodden town lights up when the star becomes known among them, and the race begins to better their lives, one way or the other! You may also form alliances with other players, if you so wish. This RP was inspired by the Animaniacs movie "Wakko's Wish." Thanks to Aqua7KH for giving me some suggestions! -Droplets- There are two kinds of Droplets to be found. Blue Droplets Blue Droplets are collected to keep the Villagers healthy and alive - without them, the villagers are sure to die in a matter of hours! Be sure to look out for these and collect as many as you can. You can collect a number of them and preserve them for later use. BUT BEWARE! You're not the only villager who needs Droplets to survive. Everyone does! So if you find a Droplet, be sure to nab it first! These droplets don't disappear. After you use its power, it stops glowing, and shrinks down for your convenience. Gold Droplets Now, Gold Droplets are EXTREMELY special. When collected, these Droplets are absorbed, and can temporarily empower your character! You may get visions of the past, or of the future. You may also receive temporary speed, improved jumping skills, heightened senses, etc. (The power up you get will be determined with a random generator.) If you're worried about this RP being too fast for you, no worries needed! I promise that it'll be a good mixture of intensity and slow moments. While the main goal is make a wish, there will be random halts, so you can have fun moments. RULES! KH13 rules apply. Keep this PG-13 Maximum of THREE characters per person! No killing characters or critically injuring them without permission. (NOTE: You CAN kill characters that you yourself control, however. You can also kill NPC's or Situational characters) No controlling other characters without permission. Please have readable posts. Romance is permitted! CHARACTER SHEET! Name: Age: Gender: Appearance: Occupation: (Optional) Personality: Bio: Battle Skills: My sheet! Any questions/comments/concerns? Don't be afraid to sign up and ask!
  3. Synopsis: Age 788. Trunks, the son of Bulma and Vegeta, defeated the Androids created by Dr. Gero and restored peace to his world in the “Alternate Timeline”. However, due to him and Bulma using their Time Machines to alter both their timeline and the “Original Timeline”, the home of Son Goku, they are visited by the Supreme Kai of Time, who informed him that they had committed a serious crime. To make up for his misdeeds, the Supreme Kai of Time asked that Trunks become her assistant in protecting time. He humbly accepted, bidding farewell to his mother and traveling forward in time to the Supreme Kai of Time’s resident at the Time Nest, where all of time is governed. Age 850. Now… a new threat has emerged. Trunks and the Supreme Kai of Time have detected that a strong, dangerous entity is corrupting history, warping certain events and causing disarray. The Supreme Kai of Time decided that to combat this threat, Trunks would need to gather a team of warriors from the distant future: The Time Patrol. Using the Dragon Balls, Trunks wishes to the Eternal Dragon, Shenron, to bring him these warriors… The heroes will embark on a journey with the very state of DragonBall history on the line. Rules: Posts may only contain at least PG-13 content, but also not be too dark or obscene. This includes swearing, sexual content, blood and gore. God-modding is strictly prohibited for every player and will result in an instant ban if noticed; this can be either classified as overpowering the enemies/other players in combat unfairly or using seemingly unfair abilities such as telekinesis, telepathy, one-hit kill attacks, e.t.c. Don't fight or converse off-topic with other players in the role-play. Take it to PM or the sign-ups/discussion thread. Please only join this RP if you’re going to be as active as possible. If something important comes up, I understand, but let me know either through PM or by posting in the sign-ups/discussion thread, and if you’re gone for too long, I’ll have to erase your character from the story. 4. The Max Headroom broadcast signal intrusion was a television signal hijacking that occurred in Chicago, Illinois, United States on the evening of November 22, 1987. It is an example of what is known in the television business as broadcast signal intrusion. The intruder was successful in interrupting two broadcast television stations within the course of three hours. Neither the hijacker nor any known accomplices have ever been found, caught or identified, which leaves the incident unsolved. During Chicago Bears highlights in the sports report of WGN-TV's The Nine O'Clock News, the screen went black for 15 seconds, then returned with a person wearing a Max Headroom mask, moving around in front of moving corrugated metal, imitating the appearances made by the real Max Headroom. There was no audio except for a droning buzz. After 20 seconds, the highjacking was cut short by WGN engineers switching the frequency to another transmitter. The sports anchor,Dan Roan, was bemused by the incident, saying, "Well,if you're wondering what's happened, so am I.",followed by failing to continue on with the sports news. Later the same night, around 11:15 p.m. Central Time, during a broadcast of the Doctor Who serial "Horror of Fang Rock", PBS member station WTTW (channel 11)'s signal was hijacked by the same person that was broadcast during the WGN-TV hijack, this time with distorted and crackling audio, the Max imposter began mentioning WGN pundit, Chuck Swirsky, saying he is better than him. The man started to moan, scream and laugh. He continued to laugh and utter various random and unrelated phrases, including New Coke's advertising slogan "Catch the Wave" while holding a Pepsi can (Max Headroom was a Coca-Cola spokesperson at the time), then tossing the can down, leaning towards the camera and giving the finger wearing a rubber extension over his middle finger, although it was hard to see the gesture. He then retrieved the Pepsi can, and sang "Your love is fading", before removing the rubber extension, then began humming the theme song to Clutch Cargo, pausing to say "I still see the X", which referred to the final episode of the series, before resuming humming again. He then began to moan painfully, exclaiming about his piles (a reference to Preparation H), to which an indistinguishable flatulence sound was heard. He then stated that he had "made a giant masterpiece for all the greatest world newspaper nerds" (the WGN call letters used by the Chicago television station as well as its sister radio station are an abbreviation for "World's Greatest Newspaper", in reference to the flagship newspaper of their corporate parent, the Tribune Company's Chicago Tribune). He then held up a glove and said, "My brother is wearing the other one," and he put the glove on, commenting that it was "dirty" and that "it's like you got foot prints on it!" He then threw the glove down in disgust. The picture suddenly cut over to a shot of the man's lower torso. His buttocks were partly exposed, and he was holding the now-removed mask up to the camera (with the rubber extension now placed in the mouth of the mask), howling, "They're coming to get me!" An unidentified accomplice wearing a French maid outfit said to him, "Bend over, b***h!" The accomplice then started to spank the man with a flyswatter as the man screamed loudly to "make it stop." The high jacking lasted for 90 seconds before blacking out and returning to the Doctor Who episode. WTTW, which maintained its transmitter atop the Sears Tower, found that its engineers were unable to stop the hijacker, due to the high microwave signals that the hijacker was using, as well as the fact that there were no engineers on duty at the Sears Tower at the time of the hijacking. According to station spokesman Anders Yocom, technicians monitoring the transmission "attempted to take corrective measures, but couldn't." "By the time our people began looking into what was going on, it was over," he told the Chicago Tribune. WTTW was able to find copies of the hijacker's telecast with the help of Doctor Who fans who had been taping the show. WTTW and WGN-TV joined HBO (which had a similar incident occur 19 months earlier) as victims of broadcast signal intrusion. The Max Headroom incident made national headlines and was reported on the CBS Evening News the next day. WTTW received numerous phone calls from viewers who wondered what was occurring for the duration of the station being targeted. Not long after the incident, WMAQ-TV humorously inserted clips of the hijacking into a newscast during Mark Giangreco's sports highlights. "A lot of people thought it was real – the pirate cutting into our broadcast. We got all kinds of calls about it," said Giangreco. To this day,it still remains as the most remembered television highjacking. And briefly,on September 9th, 2010, a clip of the second Max Headroom incident appeared during a highjacking of Cartoon Network. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sM7Q1WiepoQ

  6. Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well, I have had this thought since this morning, and well, since the new year is coming around, I wanted to ask you all for your opinion on what I'm about to discuss, so here's what I'm thinking. The Kingdom Hearts series is an amazing and wonderful series, as we all know, and well, there's tons of things that are ripe for discussion, and I want to create a Youtube channel where I discuss upon said topics, and I'd also make videos of bosses, Keyblades, abilities, story moments, characters and other aspects of the series that are my favorites, and well, that's the general consensus. So then, if I were to make said Youtube channel, would you all be willing to subscribe? It'd be awesome and it would mean a lot to me! Anyways, as I said, this is still just a concept in my head, I just wanted to ask you all for your opinion. So then, what do you think? Should I go through with making a Youtube Channel that's all about Kingdom Hearts?
  7. "We won't be intimidated by criminal threats!" Since there's no real thread on here just to talk about Toonami for the sake of Toonami in general... well, here we are. For those of you who aren't in the know, I'll give you a brief summary of Toonami, because believe me, the history is long and vast: Toonami started off as a animated programming block on Cartoon Network, showcasing a multitude of action cartoons like Johnny Quest, ThunderCats, and Voltron. Eventually, it morphed into what its more commonly known as today: a block of "east meets west animation": American action cartoons, like it showed in the past and with new editions like Superfriends and Beast Wars; Transformers, but also showcasing English dubbed, action-oriented anime as well. Toonami has helped piqued interest in many current fans of anime, action or just in general, here in the West. Some of the classic anime Toonami showcased include DragonBall Z, Sailor Moon, Cardcaptors, G Gundam, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ruroni Kenshin, and many, many more. The block ran consecutively from 1997-2008, showcasing an entire channel's worth of cartoons and anime, various format, theme, and bumper design changes with the fictional robot host TOM, and some movies, special airings, contests, events, online video services such as Toonami Reactor and Toonami Jetstream, and general quality entertainment thrown into the mix during. Sadly, the block was cancelled in 2008, with Jetstream, its latest streaming service ending a year later, and wouldn't see light on television for four years... that is, until one night, on April Fools 2012, Adult Swim, Cartoon Network's regular nightly block that plays adult theme cartoons and television shows, pulled a stunt where they re-aired various programs from Toonami, along with the bumpers, visuals, and TOM from its third incarnation, one of its more well known themes. This sparked the interest of all Toonami fans to bring back the block for real. Fortunately, this was exactly what Adult Swim had in mind. One month later, after gaining massive support from fans through Twitter, Adult Swim re-launched Toonami once more on May 26. Since then, it has been airing consecutively just like it did in its first eleven year run, without skipping a beat, and it seems to be gaining its original stride from all those years ago, slowly but surely, airing shows both old and new. I am one of those anime fans that Toonami help built. My favorite anime of all time, I first watched on Toonami. Heck, I used to be one of those people who didn't even understand anime at all, and yet, my interest was piqued, and eventually, that interest would help me grow into the anime fan I am today. Some of my own personal favorites from Toonami include DragonBall Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Ruroni Kenshin, Naruto, Zatch Bell, Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, and Hamtaro of all things. Toonami also gave me my first taste of a anime film, that being Spirited Away. I admit, I didn't actually watch too many action cartoons on Toonami at all. In retrospect, it wasn't that the block did have any I was interested in, its just that I was already watching some of them on the regular Cartoon Network. lol So now that I've spilled all my guts, I can finally give you guys a chance to say something. lol (That "brief summary wasn't brief at all...) What are your Toonami memories? What shows did you watch? How are you enjoying Toonami's current run? And if you want to make up your own "dream schedule" as well, that's cool too. I'd make one myself but quite frankly, I think I've said enough in this post and I'm more curious to see what you guys come up with first. lol
  8. I'm kinda torn with my opinion, I think it's unlikely, like most, but at the same time I wouldn't put it past the realm of possibility. Square put heaps of DLC outfits in FFXIII-2 and LR. Plus, all these outfits in chi, It's meant to be you're own character so it could mean nothing, and that's what I thought, but the addition of bravely default outfits got me thinking. Maybe we will have some customisation in KH3? Maybe crossover outfits like chi and FF? The whole idea is fanservice, to make your favorite wear an outfit/armour set you like the most. I think this is great, because if someone doesn't like the default stuff, they can just change it. I see no problem with this, in western RPGs it's very normal to change the armor/clothing of your character, in ''Dragon Age'' you can change your party's armour/clothes as well. So why is it, that when the idea of having it done in a JRPG like KH is brought up, people are against the idea? In any case, how possible do think it is that we will see this in KH3?
  9. So, I'm kinda disappointed. Only Sora, Donald, and Goofy have Brand-New renders released. Not that I'm unhappy with that, but, everyone else has the same old ones, just slightly (and I mean slightly, I compared them, it is the exact same renders from years ago) photoshopped. :l Did this happen with 1.5? I thought we got everyone's at the same time then, What's taking them so long for something little like putting them in a new pose? I've been wanting to make graphics with them; It's probably why I'm frustrated.
