Hey guys, I have been wanting to set up a KH13 tournament in celebration of the upcoming Sun and Moon hyptrain bitches. Before I set the actual tournament, I wanted to see if this is something people would actually be interested in doing. Obviously,the more people we have the better the quality of the tournament. If we get enough people, I also think it would be fun to set up a draft style tournament. So consider this an interest check/sign up thread. Just post below whether or not you're interested, and if you want to enter the tournament. I'll keep an eye on this thread for the next four days. Entry format Name: Timezone: Casual or Competitve: Favorite Pokemon: Draft format or Standard Battle Format: Also please follow the topic to stay up to date. Edit: To clear up some confusion draft league format is a lot friendlier style of tournament. Basically what happens is all participants will draft pokemon from each tier (3 OU mons,3 UU mons, 3 RU mons, 3 NU mons) at the beginning of the tournament. The Pokemon you pick will be yours for the duration of the tournament to be used in any combination, you want during each battle. Depending on the number of participants,everyone will battle each other at least once and the best four records go to the playoffs. This style of battling is a lot friendlier for casuals as you will know what to prep for instead of going in blind. Edit 2: I'll add a list of the competitors who have confirmed as we go. I wanted to make this topic as a way for us to share our favorite Epic KH13 moments. Do you have a short or long Epic story you remember and never want to forget? Please, share it with us here! I actually have one Epic moment I never want to forget. It's about me, Yuya Sakaki, and Ana Yazamaki. I can't recall the exact date, but I remember how it went. (And Yuya, if there was something I missed, maybe you can help me out with this. ) It was that one night, Ana posted a status update... At first, I was confused by what she was trying to say, but then I got a message from Yuya saying she had passed away. I said to him, "No, she isn't going to die!" He was ready to accept the fact she was not coming back... But I kept telling him, "She isn't dead... She is stronger than that...!" It was certainly a lot of stress and panic for Yuya, and I felt awful for almost yelling at him. Then, I believe it was the next morning when I noticed that Ana was online again, even after the incident the previous night. It was truly a miracle! Yuya was so relieved when he got to talk to her that day. So... there. I have to say that that was my Epic moment on KH13, if not Yuya's. What Epic moments did you guys have on KH13? Rock on!

It seems like this is becoming normal for us now, . Thanks to our fabulous news translator, Catherine Mueller, we were the only ones to provide translations to a very 'sudden' Nomura interview with Dengeki PlayStation. With that said, our article on the 1.5/2.5/2.8 cover artwork message toward KH3 got looks from IGN, and they gave us a shout for the translations. Wonder when we'll get a wiki page of our own. Haha.

On October 9th, 2008, KH13.com was officially created. Today marks 8 years since the creation of KH13, and we'd like to celebrate that with a refresher on the history of KH13 and how it became to be one of the best Kingdom Hearts fansites for news and media. KH13.com originally started in 2008 by KH13 Webmaster DChiuch, with the help of Co-Webmaster Aaron. The website started out as a simple project between friends, however, soon became a full-fledged website for Kingdom Hearts news, media and discussion. At the time, high quality videos and media were hard to come by, so KH13 initially established itself by providing high quality trailer and cutscene downloads. The name "KH13" was eventually settled on in a brainstorming session, after it was discovered that KH1.com through KH12.com were all taken – it seemed fitting that the first available domain would match up with Organization XIII. Around this time, KH13.com began to report Kingdom Hearts news, with the first article on Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. In January, 2009, KH13 decided to do the first major redesign, which was then released on January 14th, 2009. You can check out the design below. (Looks weird today, doesn't it?) The design that is currently in use today is the 3rd iteration of KH13. Skipping ahead to 2011, KH13 had become more well known, allowing us to start sending representatives to E3 as part of the press. sqexgal (now from SQEX.INFO) was our first representative, and former KH13 News Team member Oishii, Kingdom Hearts community veteran @Churroz and KH13 staff member Toominator have all been part of the experience since. One important feature that has been prominent throughout KH13 is our gallery & video archives. Former KH13 Archives Team Leader and News Team member Sora96 has brought the video archives and gallery to what it is today, featuring over 25,000 images and hundreds of videos from the Kingdom Hearts series. Thanks also goes to Everglow, our partner, for recording thousands of cutscenes and playthrough videos for KH13's archives. Our wide selection of videos and images has brought in many visitors for KH13. As 8 years have passed, there have been many individuals who have helped bring KH13.com to what it is today. We'd like to thank the current team leaders of the KH13 staff, which are HarLea Quinn, Toominator, soraspromise, & AndrewHankinson. Aside from the team leaders, we'd also like to thank the current and past team members who have contributed to KH13.com such as (Past) Sora96, (Past) Lu Xun, and many, many more. We'd like to also give the most important thanks of all: to all of you, our readers and the Kingdom Hearts community. Thanks to everyone here on KH13 for sticking with us for these 8 years. We hope to be around for many more, and to continue to provide the latest Kingdom Hearts news and media. That creature just is a waste of room for a more awesome character (like Sora). -Bayonneta (Smash). Mostly for show, she really only has one combo (IN MY OPINION!). -Cars with loud engines. Sorry bud, but nobody cares about the customized engine in the Mustang GT that you most likely borrowed from your dad. -Terra (KH). If you've heard HMK's rant about him, you'll know. If you love to cosplay, or have a friend who loves to show off their cosplay, then feature them in our gallery! (With the proper permission, of course). If you upload high quality cosplays to our gallery, it has a huge chance of being featured on KH13's social media pages, which is our community Tumblr page & KH13 Community Twitter feed! Our wonderful Social Media Team will be on the lookout for the best cosplays, so be sure to upload your favorites! We prefer that all cosplays uploaded are related to the Kingdom Hearts series. Hey everyone. It's sad to say, but as of September 2016 I am stepping down as News Team Leader for KH13. I was recently hired as an 8th grade math teacher and my life is about to get a million times more hectic. Therefore, I will not have the time of day to lead this wonderful News Team. That said, I still plan to stay on the team and help out when I can, but my role will be a lot less involved. Thank you all so much for your support during my time as News Team Leader.

Hello, ladies and gentlemen! This is our first, and possibly final, KH13 Dance! I, SteVentus, will be your awesome host AND DJ. In the next four days, (Tuesday thru Friday) I will be hosting a single song each of the four days, each of which we shall adapt to the song for that day. So don't continue a dance from a song on a previous day just yet! Whether you're going in solo or you have a, quote on quote, "Date", you'll be able to Dance today, and Thursday. And the "Slow Dances" will be on Wednesday and Friday. This probably sounds silly, since it's never been done before most likely, but what if KH13 had a Dance? What I mean by a dance, I'm meaning the kinds of dances that are held at school, to be precise Middle School and High School. Where you could talk to your friends and dance with someone you like. Now to answer those obvious questions you may have: "But that doesn't make sense. You can't actually 'dance' online." True, you can't literally dance online. However, there are certain ways of expressing your dancing over the internet. But I think we should stay away from video recordings of ourselves dancing alone. But in all seriousness, maybe one way we could have this dance is through a Roleplay! But we'll see. "What's a 15-to-16 year old doing wanting to dance on the web instead of dancing at his real school dance?" Well, to be honest, I can't go to my school's dances. Because my family couldn't afford it. Plus, I'm sort of shy about talking to random people face-to-face like that. "Well, good luck with that!" I can't do this alone anymore. This is why I wanted to ask you people if you could help me arrange something like this. I really want to enjoy dancing, and I'm pretty good in real life, though with nobody wanting to see my dancing, it's kind of hard to find a motivation to dance. (This even applies with my drawing and schoolwork!) So, there... I felt like I wanted to bring up this idea. And hopefully, it will be an interesting thing for some of you as well. Rock on!
