Square Enix has released two new trailers for the English version of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, leading up to the game's upcoming release in North America and Europe on December 2 and December 5, 2014, respectively. Together, these trailers are called "Worlds Connect", and they showcase the combination of Square Enix and Disney together in the Kingdom Hearts series. You can view the new trailers below. Square Enix Europe has announced that they are offering exclusive Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX prizes for those who pre-ordered the Collector's Edition through their online store. Unfortunately, this competition is only open to those living in the United Kingdom. The prizes include an exclusive framed Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX manga storyboard, Sora & Roxas Play Arts figurines along with Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX T-shirts and jackets. To enter all you have to do is pre-order the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX Collector’s Edition from Square Enix Europe's online store and leave a comment on this Facebook post answering the following question: The competition ends December 4 at 23:59 GMT. Square Enix has posted on their official Kingdom Hearts Facebook page that they will holding a community launch event for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX on Wednesday 3, December 2014 (2 days before its release in Europe). Those who attend will be able to meet the co-director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tai Yasue and the producer of the Kingdom Hearts series, Rie Nishi in a live presentation, experience the Twilight Town balcony, jump into a Kingdom Hearts world and make your own flipbook, win exclusive prizes, get autographs, raffles...and more! Entry is free and tickets will become available to collect on Friday 21, November 2014 at 12:30pm GMT via Eventbrite. Update: It has now sold out. -

The video showcases all three titles included in the HD collection, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded whilst giving their thoughts and memories of playing the games originally. Archives Team member Everglow (the administrator of our sister website, Sora's Dream) was invited to a private event in Milan, Italy on November 7, 2014 where they allowed you try the Italian version of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX before its release on December 5, 2014. The Italian version of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX features English voicing acting with Italian text. Everglow noticed whilst watching a friend of his play the Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix portion of the HD collection at the event that Roxas has new battle quotes. Square Enix took these battle quotes straight from the Nintendo DS version of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days along with Ventus in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix. Thanks go to KH13 member TB298 for the tip. Titled “Inside the Kingdom, with Heart”, attendance to the event will be via invitation only, with tickets being distributed through select channels. Square Enix will also be hosting it during two separate time slots to allow for more fans to attend. Those who attend will be able to see "a never before seen Kingdom Hearts trailer", be able to purchase Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX early, along with Kingdom Hearts merchandise, and meet some "very special guests". Event details are below. Square Enix has promised more information next week. Update: Thanks to Social Media Team member Churro (who will be attending) we now know that the "never before seen Kingdom Hearts trailer" will in fact be the community promotional video from September. Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing the Kingdom Hearts II Limit Form Sora Play Arts Kai figure separately for the very first time on November 29, 2014 for 9,060 Yen (roughly US $80). The figure was only previously available through Square Enix's e-STORE as an add-on for purchases of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX before launch. The figure comes with the Starseeker Keyblade. You can pre-order it here. And you can view pictures of the figure below, in our gallery. -

Square Enix has made a very curious tweet on the official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account. The tweet says "We've been busy today working on a secret project", and shows a Square Enix staff member with a Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX jacket, standing outside what looks to be Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris! The full image attached to the tweet can be seen below.
