  1. Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura recently spoke with the Game Informer staff following the D23 Expo 2017. While discussing the Gummi Ship in Kingdom Hearts III, Nomura also discussed various different aspects about the new Toy Story world that had been revealed for the game. He explained more details on the world and what he hopes to achieve with it. Nomura called the movie Toy Story "iconic" as it has made a strong mark on the world of CG. He says that he's longed for Toy Story to be in the Kingdom Hearts series ever since Kingdom Hearts II, and that he feels Sora coming face to face with Buzz and Woody in his toy form is something he's excited for and have always imagined in his head. You can check out a quote by Nomura below: He also stated that Toy Story's inclusion process was different than other Kingdom Hearts worlds. Most of the time, the world follows the plot of the movie it's based off of, and Sora and company are pitted right into that adventure. But, Pixar requested that they wanted the Toy Story world for Kingdom Hearts III to have an entirely new story that's not based off of any existing film. View a quote by Nomura below: Nomura also noted that his team and him considered all the movies in the Toy Story series and decided that the plot of the Toy Story world in Kingdom Hearts III will take place some time after Toy Story 2. He also mentioned that he worked very close with Pixar to get their approval on the new story and that there were many rounds of review. Check out a quote by Nomura below: What you can expect from the new Galaxy Toys location was explained by Nomura as well. He says Galaxy Toys will be the primary stage of the Toy Story world where a lot of the action will take place. Nomura also mentions that there'll be multiple floors and each section will have its own personality. He says the narrative in this world is searching for Andy, who's gone missing, and finding out what Organization XIII is doing in the world. A quote by Nomura can be viewed below: Nomura was hesitant on saying how many hours it would take to complete this world, because your time can vary depending on how you navigate it. It was also mentioned by Nomura that instead of there being many smaller worlds, they are allocating a lot of their resources into making rich gameplay in individual worlds so the player doesn't just breeze through it. He also used the example of the Gigas mechs shown in the trailer to show how the team is putting fun extra things into the worlds. Check out the quote below: After seeing Nomura perk up while discussing the mechs, the Game Informer interviewer asked what inspired them. He replied saying that he wanted to show that nothing's impossible now with the new hardware specs. They couldn't have Sora riding different things before, but now they can. He ended it off by saying that they will be releasing more info as it becomes available. View the full Nomura quote below: Click here to view the article

  8. Reviewing the trailers, Ive noticed that Keyblades have 1 to 2 keyblade transformations(or none at all) and they usually have an Attraction Flow to it, not to mention it seems they also have their own distinct Shotlocks. Im starting to believe tht your other party members are there strictly for aesthetic and to make you feel cool when you charge into battle with 4 party members lmao. Sora is so OP and weve only seen trailers. Anyway.. Star Keyblade: Double Arrowguns Magic Launcher -------- Either the teacup or Pirate Ship attraction flow. (unless one of them is for the Kingdom Key) Hercules Keyblade: Countershield ---------------- Pegasus Run attraction flow Toy Story keyblade: Drill Punch Hyper Hammer --------------- Buzz Lightyear ride attraction flow With this in mind, how many more Keyblades do you think we may get, AND how do you think Attraction Flows are activated. Idk if the Kingdom Key itself has any other Forms but its Drive Form IS Second Form, so keep that in mind.
  9. As I watched the latest trailer, and I'm sure everyone has noticed this by now if not already noted by Nomura, and I finally realized that Sora doesn't have an initial drive launch. There isn't even a gauge for the drives. The gauge is for shotlock commands. Sora's forms are linked to the Keyblade he uses. Kingdom Key has the Second Form transformation. The new Toy Story Keyblade has the Drill Punch transformation and Sora gains a new Form in that mode. Sora's clothing and abilities change based on the Keyblade transformations. This is big in the sense that it shows maturity in combat and better control of forms that he can easily use them within his combos.

During the final Kingdom Hearts Orchestra - World Tour - in Osaka, Japan, Kingdom Hearts series director Tetsuya Nomura stated that they raised expectations high for the new Kingdom Hearts III information and news being revealed at D23 2017. He makes sure to note that it will be "normal" Kingdom Hearts III news, and he would like people to spread this word instead of raising the bar in order to not cause any trouble.

  20. Hello there , First of all, this is my first theory and english is not my mother tongue. I'm still learning english. So if there are some grammar or spelling mistakes I apologize and hope you understand what I wanted to say nevertheless. I also don't know if someone made up this theory before. It just popped up in my head and I feel like a have to share it because I haven't read this theory before. But now I'm coming to the theory! I am pretty sure the most people in this forum have watched the Opening Movie from KH 3D. I've never thought about this movie much but when I rewatched all KH Openings this morning I noticed some things I didn't give much attention before. And I think it has a connection to the seven Guardians of Light who have to defeat the 13 darknesses in KH3. In KH3D Mickey actually stated that Sora, Riku and he himself are three of the Guardians. And he also mentioned his "three missing friends" which are obviously Terra, Ventus and Aqua. So that makes six Guardians of Light. So who is the seventh Guardian? Which characters could also wield a keyblade? Kairi and Axel! But if you think more into there are more people who can wield a keyblade. For an example: Roxas! So if you now watch the KH3D Opening (here is a Link) and skip to minute 3. We see how Xehanort appears and rises up a mountain at the Keyblade Graveyard like he did in KH BBS (after that we do not see Xehanort any longer but it's clear he has to be on that mountain). Sora and Riku jumps after him. Shortly after that Terra, Ventus and Aqua appear (three members of the Guardians of Light) and also Roxas appaers. They landed at that mountain/plattform and lift up their keyblades. Ready to face Xehanort. (There are also Donald and Goofy but I not going to count them in because there are kinda always fighting with Sora and there are not keybladewielders so they couldn't be Guardians.) So Sora, Riku, Mickey, Ventus, Terra, Aqua and Roxas facing Xehanort who is the main villain which is going to be defeated in KH3. Some times ago Tetsuya Nomura said there are no coincidences in Kingdom Hearts. So why should Square Enix show Roxas with the Guardians of Light facing Xehanort if he is none of the Guardians? If there is no meaning in it? The KH3 Orchestra Trailer showed that Sora is trying to bring Roxas back. I think it's pretty sure that Sora wants to bring Roxas back because he deserves it. But maybe he also have to because Roxas is the last Guardian of Light. I can't imagen that Riku and Mickey left to find Aqua, Ventus and Terra so they can defeat the 13 Darknesses together while Sora is just like "yeah, I'm going to bring Roxas back for personal reasons which have nothing to do with the 13 Darkness that have to be beated. Bye." The KH3D Opening Movie could foreshadow the Final Fight of KH3. Like the Secret Ending of KH2 and the Opening of KH BBS itself foreshadowed the Final of KH BBS. So what do you guys think about Roxas as a Guardian of Light? Would you like to see him as a Guardian or do you prefer Kairi or Axel/Lea as the last Guardian? And if Roxas is a Guardian of Ligth will he wield Oblivion and Oathkeeper or a new mabey two new keyblades which symbolize his friendschip to Xion and Axel like Oblivion and Oathekeeper does? (In the Opening we see Roxas with a black keyblade which could be Oblivion or a complete new keyblade you can't really see that.) Please leave your thoughts and be fair and kind. Thanks __________________________________________ Here are some screenshots from the Opening Movie just in case the link doesn't work or the video is deleted.
  21. So, I had a REALLY weird dream last night. XDX This was the first KH related dream I had had in years! It was more so a nightmare actually. I don't remember much of it now, but this is what I remember. I dreamed that the new trailer had come out. And one of the new worlds revealed was actually ToonTown from Who Framed Rodger Rabbit (of all things ). But the world was not pleasant. It was actually dark and scary and there were ugly Heartless everywhere tearing up the town. I remember seeing Sora bash these guys up. Then I saw a quick flash of Sora in what looked like a super weird space-like outfit with a big orange helmet and he was in a kind of space world setting, like something you would see in Guardians of the Galaxy. And then I remember the very ending of the trailer. The logo came up, and then text appeared at the bottom reading............"Now in development" XDX
