I spent the last week working on y own rendition of "Dearly Beloved" for a fan-made KH3 soundtrack. I changed up some chords, added new melodies. I tied in some themes from other works of mine for my KH3 soundtrack. I tried to give the opening a darker feel to it then the previous versions. So I finished KH3D HD and I realized something: At the end of KH3D, every seeker of darkness that has been brought to the present (Young Xehanort included) returns to his own time and forgets everything that happened during his time travel. So YX went back to Destiny Islands. But how is he supposed to gather the 13 darknesses in KH3? He gathered them once at the end of 3D. I guess he kept his power to travel through time but he can’t remember anything regarding the future and the whole time travel and therefore don’t know about his power and his task to gather them once again. So how will the 13 darknesses be present in KH3? Am I missing something or don’t we have an answer for this question yet?- 16 replies

In KH1, we fought the Rock Titan and the Ice Titan, and in BBS, we fought a fake copy of the Ice Titan called Ice Colossus. I'm really hoping that KH3 follows the story of the Disney movies more and we actually fight all of the villains from each movie in each world. In KH3 trailers, we've seen that the Rock Titan has returned. Do you think the Ice Titan will return as well, and do you think we'll fight all of the other Titans while we're at it? It'd be so amazing to see all of the Titans taking over Olympus and we have to take them down. It'd be nice to hear the Titans actually talking this time around too. And it'd be neat to have their actual names be in the Journal this time instead of just "Rock Titan" and "Ice Titan". Having separate boss fights for Lythos, Hydros, Pyros, Stratos, and Cyclops would be absolutely fantastic in my opinion. What do you think? Or do you think that'd maybe be too many boss fights for a single world? In my opinion, there's no such thing as "too many boss fights" lol Oh, and also, if we take down all of the Titans from the movie in KH3, then in a future KH game after KH3, we can move on and fight the Titans from the Hercules TV show.- 14 replies

I've been going through some rather hard times right now. I've been quite depressed. I feel alone in the darkness without a light to guide me. As if my life is going nowhere and I have no purpose. I wish I had a purpose like Sora... I wrote this piece called "The Key to Return Hearts". It has a double meaning. It represents my suffering, along with those who have suffered in the KH series. Such as, Xion, Aqua, Roxas, Ventas, Terra. It also represents Sora's destiny to save them. Can he also save me? Can my heart be returned? Please enjoy. Music Composed by Mark Messer (me)- 5 replies

I used some pulsation synths to go along with the orchestra instruments because I noticed it's something Yoko likes to do with some of her newer battle themes. The piano solo was a nod to Desire for all that is Lost from KH2s OST.

A battle theme I tried to compose in Yoko Shimomura's style while adding my own twist. It's similar to "Go for It!" from the original KH soundtrack with the instrumentation but has a different melody.

Hey Guys, I'm a amateur Photography with a special love for Kingdom Hearts. In anticipation for the impending release I started a series I called Sora Saturday. Every Saturday I do a new Photo of Sora! And its been a blast, even went so Far as to take him to Disney. My youtube channel is expanding as well, to more Kingdom Hearts theme videos. I really want Sora, Donald, Goof, and any other party member we have in KH3 to talk to each other during gameplay like the characters do in Final Fantasy XV. It would be hilarious to hear Sora and Donald constantly bickering with each other. Imagine if Sora even got upset with Donald if he doesn't heal him or something like that. It would flesh out the characters a whole lot more and make them feel like actual people who you can get to know and relate to along your massive journey.

A six inch PVC figurine of Sora from Kingdom Hearts III will be available June 17th, 2017 for the Japanese audience. A number of Sora's poses from the game can be recreated, according to the official Square Enix e-Store for Japan the model attempts to replicate the in-game CG. Along with Sora and his new Keyblade (name unknown as of this article), the Bring Arts features the Two Shot Blasters (unofficial name), a replacement face and six replacement hands. The figurine is priced at $61, £48 or €57 including tax and can be purchased here, however AmiAmi has listed the figurine at a price of $45, £36 or €42. Please be sure to double check AmiAmi for any extra costs such as shipping. You can view the Bring Arts Sora below. UPDATE: The Kingdom Hearts III Sora Bring Arts figure is now available for pre-order on the North American Square Enix store. I've been thinking a lot about how Ventus is going to be woken up from his slumber, mostly for fan fiction reasons, but today I stumbled upon two pieces of information that kind of made it click for me. I'm not a big theorist, so I apologize if there are some huge flaws in my thoughts. What if Ventus's heart can only be freed from Sora with Xehanort's Keyblade? The idea came to me when I read DDD's glossary on the Keyblade. It says Adding to that, I re-read Nomura's 2.8 interview which mentioned the following: So the Master of Master's “pulled” the Keyblades out from the depths of a heart? Maybe specifically the Keyblades he granted to his students? What if those 6 Keyblades are all Keyblades of Heart and the only ones that can free a person's heart because they are 'pulled from the depths of a heart'? In BBS, we see that Xehanort frees Aurora's heart and his own heart, both with his Keyblade that we know now is definitely the one the MoM gave Luxu. The only other Keyblade known to do this is the “Keyblade of Heart” that was created by the hearts of the Princesses of Heart – but this one may have been a corrupted version of a Keyblade since it missed Kairi's heart and was forcefully created from the Princesses, so it may or may not be able to be recreated to serve this purpose once again. So I've been thinking... what if Xehanort's Keyblade is the only one able to free Ventus's heart (and maybe in addition to that Roxas's, Xion's and Naminé's)? I mean, by this theory, the Keyblades of Aced, Invi, Ava, Gula and Ira could also potentially free people's hearts, but we currently only know the location of Luxu's blade so this one would be the one everyone goes after. It's just a random thought that came to me, by no means do I want to claim that this is how it's going to go down, but I thought I could share this here! -

In regard to the screenshot of a pre-order site page Kingdom Hearts III on the Nintendo NX, EB Games Australia has made two replies on Twitter confirming that the item has never been for sale on the site. You can read the two tweets below: The News Team also conducted research and we could only find one screenshot of the pre-order without a clear source. The pre-order was also not found in a cached version of the EB Games Australia site from within the past few days since the pre-order image surfaced. I've been replaying through a lot of the series and in some of the newer games they added in chests that hold maps of the area. I feel like these are completely unnecessary since most of the time you get them towards the beginning of the world and often times I don't even notice whether I have it or not so it overall just seems like we could go without the finding a large chest and getting excited only to find a map that would be more appreciated from the beginning. What do you guys think about the maps in the chests that have become common in the series? -
Hey, all. I haven't seen many people talking about this topic yet, which is the 'box' in KHXBC. Before 2.8 released in Japan, Nomura did an interview with Famitsu and talked a bit about 2.8 / KH3. In the interview, Nomura says that what is actually inside the box is a secret still, but that in Kingdom Hearts III there is someone who journeys forth in search of this mysterious box. What do you think the box is? And who do you think is the one searching for this box in KH3?

So I just beat Kingdom Hearts 0.2 today (the English version) and after viewing the secret ending, I went into the theater mode section to see what the scene was called and I was surprised to find that it was called "2.9 - The First Volume". Now, while I assumed this title was just referring to the epilogue/secret ending as a whole, it got me thinking about what if 2.9 was or is an actual thing and if so is volume 2 going to be a separate thing or is it just going to be Kingdom Hearts 3? I personally hope that it is simply referring to Kingdom Hearts 3 and not something in between, as the way the ending leaves off suggests that it is talking about KH3, especially with

Do you think the Princesses of Heart could be the Key to Return Hearts? We don't know exactly what it is, but judging by it's name, it has the ability to return someone's heart, whatever that means. This reminds me of the time in KH1 when Kairi hugged Sora's Heartless and was able to bring him back to his regular self. One could say she "returned his heart" back to normal. Nomura said she was able to do this because she has special Princess of Heart light powers. So, maybe the Princesses of Heart can be used to create some kind of Keyblade, like how their hearts were used to create the Keyblade of heart? Maybe the Keyblade of heart is the Key to Return Hearts? It never got an official name, so maybe that's it's official name? The whole thing that made the Keyblade of heart special was that it had the ability to unlock people's hearts, but later in the series, we discover that Keyblade Masters have the ability to unlock hearts, so that makes the Keyblade of heart not seem special anymore. It's sort of special because it allows people who aren't Keyblade Masters to unlock people's hearts, but that isn't really that special or impressive. So maybe the true purpose of the Keyblade of heart is that it can also return people who have succumbed to the darkness back to their original selves? Or maybe it can just "return hearts" in general, which means it can do loads of things? Like being able to make Ven's heart return to his body for example. EDIT: The Keyblade of heart is also special because it also acted as the χ-blade to Ansem, Seeker of Darkness' artificial Kingdom Hearts.
