  1. Pretty much what the title says, I want to know what your favourite bit of info was from the interview with Tetsuya Nomura was. For example, my favourite news was hearing that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be difficult or rather the battles will be pretty much a lot harder than those of Kingdom Hearts 2.
  2. Earlier, we published a translated interview summary from the Famitsu Weekly issue released on September 25, 2014, where the director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura, talked Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts III, and Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. Now, goldpanner has published a full translation of this interview, and thanks to her, it can be read below. Relevant articles - Nomura clarifies the status of "Frozen" in Kingdom Hearts III, discusses working with Disney - Nomura is investigating developments to allow more people to experience Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] - Nomura doesn't like leaving Kingdom Hearts 3D as the only title without a HD remaster - Next week's Famitsu will contain a Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX release special feature, with comments from Nomura - Tetsuya Nomura to attend New York Comic Con 2014 - Original interview summary

  4. I know I am because I know that if they put a world that I won't expect to be in kingdom hearts 3 I will enjoy it to the fullest and not complain about it even if it's a singing world . I try not to put too much negativity over something that I don't like.
  5. Within several interviews with co-director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tai Yasue, there have been strong hints that he would like to see a world in Kingdom Hearts III based around the successful Disney film, Frozen, leading to speculation that it was all but confirmed. The recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura in Famitsu Weekly, however, debunks the notion that world selection is set in stone just yet. It's worth noting that, when asked, Nomura admitted that he did enjoy Frozen and also looks forward to Disney's next feature film, Big Hero 6. In addition, the interview revealed that, in spite of no longer feeling truly limited to being "Disney-like" and moving the series into more original territory, there is still a deep appreciation for the Disney content of the games and the inspiration that they provide. He also mentions that he is excited by the appointment of John Lasseter (director of Toy Story and Cars), has been appointed as chief creative officer at Disney. The full interview is available here, with translations thanks to goldpanner.

  7. Just want to know if FFXV is going slow in production another time will Kingdom Hearts 3 be affected by it or will it keep going now that Nomura focuses on KH3. Will Kingdom Hearts 3 development be affected in that case or not?
  8. So, I was thinking over how Sora, Donald, and Goofy have been characterized throughout the Kingdom Hearts Series so far. Here's what I've come up with: Sora is naïve and somewhat careless yet still determined. Donald is stubborn and easily-irritated, yet still loyal (somewhat). Goofy is clumsy and a little absent-minded, yet still extremely loyal and smart enough to notice things Sora and Donald tend to miss (which is quite often). Assuming Sora is going to be around the age of seventeen or so in Kingdom Hearts III, how do You imagine his character will change? He did seem rather hyper at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D: DREAM, DROP, DISTANCE.... How about Donald? Will he start rolling his eyes at every random thing Sora and Goofy say? What about Goofy? Is he going to start mispronouncing words more frequently and trip over stuff more often? What do You think will happen?

  10. I find her character quite important in the series. Im really curious of how she knew the story about the keyblade war and what if she was a keyblade wielder we don't know but that would be huge. But maybe she's already gone with the fact that she was really old even back in BBS. Im really curious about her character
  11. kh3's development is just like a math problem (kh3) that toke too long to answer because they have other things to work on (ff15). If you don't understand what i'm trying to say here the analogy is saying that kh3 is taking to long to be finished because the kh team is working on ff15, which is not letting kh3 to be finished.
  12. So, follow me: The Transformation will vary depending on the keyblade; We couldn't change our equipment or abilities during battle in any of the games; There are the R2 and L2 unused buttons. Soooo, what I was thinking is: why not use the R2 and L2 buttons to change the equiped Keyblade in-battle? I mean, you are surround by Heartless and need a AoE transformation to get rid of them quickly. Then, a powerful one appears and you need a transformation that relies on single target abilities, but you're stuck with your AoE Keyblade. Thoughts!

  15. http://www.kdramastars.com/articles/35969/20140907/kingdom-hearts-3-release-date.htmThis website among others have stated that KH3 will be released on May 15th 2015, and for PS3 on top of PS4 and Xbox1. My question is about the legitimacy of these claims. Both in reference to The Release date and the old Generation release.

  17. While Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX is appearing at Tokyo Game Show 2014 with a new playable demo and trailer, Kingdom Hearts III unfortunately has now been confirmed to not appear at this year's event. Kingdom Hearts Ultimania asked a member of the Square Enix staff at the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX demo booth where Kingdom Hearts III is, they responded with "the game is still in the very early stages of development and it’ll be ready to show, when it’s ready. We have Kingdom Hearts 2.5 coming out this year, playable at the show, and that’s our focus right now’".

  23. Yesterday, we reported that Square Enix is recruiting a UI Designer for Osaka Team's Kingdom Hearts III. Today, Square Enix Japan has posted job advertisements on their career website for Technical Artists for Osaka Team's Kingdom Hearts III and another advertisement for a Network Game Programmer for a "online multiplayer game". Osaka Team's only announced title still in development is Kingdom Hearts III which is most likely a single-player game. Could this be related to the Kingdom Hearts series? Or is it more likely related to the Final Fantasy series? There's plenty of speculation that could occur here, but we'll leave that up to you guys. What do you think it could be? Thanks to our translator SkyKeybladeHero, you can read the job advertisement summaries below.
