  1. So I was thinking, we all saw that Master Xehanort was reassembled in 3D and the one question on everyone mind was, why Master Xehanort? Why not Apprentice Xehanort? And I have a theory: What if when Ansem and Xemnas where defeated, Terra and Xehanort's hearts where somehow separated and each returned to their original bodies, restoring both Master Xehanort and Terra in the present day? The problem with this of course is the lack of proof that Master Xehanort's original body ever became a Nobody. There are those ominous quotes about "many roads" and "something left behind" that may allude to an, as of yet unknown, Nobody of Master Xehanrt's though even if such an entity exists it has yet to be discovered, much less defeated, rendering complete restoration impossible. But if this where the case it would mean that Terra is already out there somewhere, searching for answers as to what happened to Ven and Aqua (as it is unlikely he remembers anything from his time under Xehanort's thrall) So, there you have it, a baseless theory with no supporting evidence and a ton of holes. Have fun tearing it apart. P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. It just seems lie KH3 woudl be the only game significantly affected by this theory.
  2. With Chikao Ōtsuka gone and Leonard Nimoy hospitalized, both voice actors for Master Xehanort will have to be replaced. Now since i know the voice acting auditions take time to do it will be a while before we get a confirmed new voice actor for Xehanort. now i have thought about this a lot and think that it may postpone Nomura's Intended release date for the game, I have a Speculation that the Game may be released Late 2016 early 2017. I think this mainly because of the voice acting auditions, these take from hours to days to weeks to months the be completed. And if it comes to that Japans release date will be pushed back farther and farther. Now for North America we have the luxury of having the voice actor - Leonard Nimoy - still around but hospitalized, if his conditions get any worse and he, and lets hope not, dies we would have to replace him but it may take even longer to produce the game. tell me what you guys think. do you think it will be postponed, pushed back, or stopped?
  3. Every time I hear the word dream and with this revelation of chirithy, I suddenly remember of sora's first words in the series. "I've been having these weird thoughts lately" "like is any of this for real or not"
  4. I mean, let's look at this from this point of view. Frozen was a unbelievably large commercial success, it was loved by children and adults alike all around the world, it has been translated into many languages, and it features a song so catchy and iconic, that the entire world kept singing it inside their heads for a while. Its plot is interesting and fascinating, and features a message so new to Disney movies that no other has had it in the past. There are many interesting and diverse characters, both protagonists and antagonists, such as Elsa and Anna, or Hans and the Duke of Weselton. So, how will all that apply to Kingdom Hearts III? To begin with, given its success, Disney will be wanting to feature it in the game, if Nomura is not already on his knees begging for them to let him use it. A Frozen-based world will appeal to all audiences, young children who are being introduced to the series and adults or teenagers who have been fans since its release in 2002. "Let It Go" is so great it could be converted into a beautiful background track, along with "For the First Time in Forever". The plot is flexible and could fit in a single world while being altered to include Sora and the gang, features a message no other world has taught Sora so far, (i.e. Love does not only come from a partner) all while exploring the diverse landscape of Arendelle, from its seaside plains to the snowy mountains and so on. Another key element of a successful world is its character roster. The heroes of Frozen are mainly four: - Elsa, the Ice Queen. Who can imagine a Frozen themed world, where elsa is not a party member. Her powerful ice attacks could put heartless to shame, featurring advanced Blizzard spells like Deep Freeze or Ice Barrage. A useful ally nonetheless, but also an important character, undergoing serious self-discovery issues. Through her, Sora can be taught the importance of accepting yourself. - Anna of Arendelle An important character undoubtedly, she could serve as a cheerful introduction to the world, meeting Sora in the mountain and asking for help in order to reach her sister and save her homeland. Not much useful battle-wise, except for something like a protect quest, where you have to protect her from the Heartless while climbing the mountain, total downer. -Olaf Who doesn't love Olaf? This cute, cuddly, goofy supporting character is the perfect comic relief for this world. Innocent, yet protective of his friends. -Kristoff Not much to say about Kristoff, only that he would appear as a supporting character. So you can see that Frozen seems like an interesting pick so far for KHIII. What one could debate about is how they will fit fighting in this setting. The answer to that is simple. Greed. You all know it, one of the seven deadly sins, it is what our two villains represent, Hans and the Duke of Weselton. The greed in their hearts gave birth to darkness, and in turn allowed them to summon the Heartless, hence, Sora is needed to see through to their destruction. Another boss battle could be Marshmallow, outside Elsa's castle, either with him being possesed by Heartless, or simply denying Sora access to the castle during his first visit. I'm not sure if anyone needs more proof that Frozen is a mandatory option for KHIII, however, there is one thing that could cripple all of Frozen's possibilities... TURNING IT INTO A MUSICAL WORLD LIKE ATLANTICA FROM KHII!!! I actually loved atlantica from KHII, however Frozen is a world so versatile it could be anything.... Just let it be anything but that.

    Half Norted

We probably need to get used with this sad possibility
  6. Given that we'll be getting more KHIII news this year, maybe even a trailer, and we will all be hyped I felt I should do a Public Service Announcement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=4Twe410Qk-wRemember these gems?https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=kdZAOtcuvBcRemember how excited they made us?https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=9GSlOGzQqrsRemember how almost none of this material made it into the games unaltered, if at all?https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=l4AQnzLDFnkMy point is, whatever we see, take it with a grain of salt. For your sanity.
  7. So, I just replayed the final battle of KH II and looking at the part where a ton of Dusks appear and are dispatched by Sora and Riku (I doubt they just appeared, only to spontaneously vanish) and I got to thinking. That would be an awesome fight. So in KH III I hope we get a "Battle of 1,000 Heartless" type battle, only with ten times as many Nobodies as there where Heartless. Or better yet, 100,000 enemies made up of Heartless and Nobodies (and maybe even Unversed and Nightmare Dream Eaters if Vanitas comes back and the RoS is opened) That would be epic.
  8. I was thinking, maybe it could be good for Nomura to think about adding a day and night feature in every world you go to in Kingdom Hearts III. The reasons for this is because I feel like it may be good to see how the worlds actually are like with this kind of feature, like if they are adding Twilight Town to Kingdom Hearts III or maybe Radiant Garden I wouldn't mind seeing them in night time or whatever. Also maybe there could be certain things that can happen at different parts of the day, like maybe at night Heartless become a lot more apparent in certain areas of the game and they might be a little tougher to fight or probably drop better items. In the afternoon times they probably start to appear less that they do at night but would rarely drop good items and then in the morning they would appear as they would in normal games. I guess it might not be such a good idea for some people but I think it would be a little nice to see something like this. What do you guys think?
  9. Since I have been thinking of Frozen in Kingdom Hearts III, I was wondering if Josh Gad could voice Olaf in Kingdom Hearts III.
  10. The aim of this thread is fairly simple as I'm sure you're all intelligent enough to understand. Sure you can contribute. You wanna turn it into a game? Sure, why not. Go crazy. okay here we go I'll start off a few, feel free to criticise/agree or comment on or with me at any time. DO: Give Sora and co. new outfits - man id kill to see Riku in Keyblade Armour, or anybody for that matter. DONT: Make dumb Disney worlds for Sora to go to just for filler - make sure it's fairly well integrated into the story, also make sure it doesn't look out of place EG Pirates of the Caribbean in KHII. DO: Pay Utada all the money she wants - I wanna hear a NEW song from her. She has amazing talent and as good as they are I'm starting to grow tired of a Sanctuary and Simple n Clean remixes. DONT: Bring back characters just to appease fans - If they're gone, they're gone. I realise there's a lot of big fans of characters out there but bringing certain people back when there is no addition to the story is just bad and hurts the story so DONT. Although if I don't see Demyx's true human form I will organise protests. DO: Let us play with multiple characters - If the characters aren't dead; I'm afraid I must insist you must give us every opportunity to fanboy/girl until their times comes. I mean besides Sora isn't even that cool;). Plus it'd add a nice new dimension to the story, it doesn't have to be whole storylines with them; just switch characters when they have an important scene coming EG A Boss battle. DONT: Give people keyblades just for the sake of it - SPOILER FROM HERE: Giving Lea a Keyblade was like so dumb like wtf Chakrams were what made him cool I mean how cud u do diss squeenix D: Discuss. And feel free to add!
  11. Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well then, in the hype for Kingdom Hearts III, all of us have been cooking up what possible worlds could make their way into the game, and I've come to a theory on a world I'd think would fit very well with Kingdom Hearts III, and that would be Todayland.(From Meet The Robinsons.) Here, I shall explain why. As I'm sure you all know, this film has an emphasis on time travel, and as we all know, the Kingdom Hearts series has most recently dealt with time travel, and I'd figure that this connection could make a world based on this film work very well. Lewis wants to see her Mom, since he never had the chance to see her, hence him being an orphan. Wilbur offers to help him if he accompanies him into the future to do him a favor. Okay, that's the basic premise. Sora and the gang would go to the future and interact with the Robinsons, and then they'd investigate to see if any Heartless or Nobodies are around. As for the "Bowler Hat Guy" that is the villain of the film, Vanitas,(assuming he is one of the thirteen darknesses.) could persuade him into joining forces with him, promising to help him plot his revenge. And so, the Unversed gather around due to the Bowler Hat Guy's negative emotions of revenge. And well, he and Vanitas could work together for a certain extent until Vanitas decides to abandon him, and that's when the boss battle would ensue, where Doris, the Bowler Hat Guy's hat, sprouts its robotic arms and tries to attack you, its powers boosted by the negativity of the Unversed. After the battle, Lewis would say that he'll never invent Doris, hence, Doris ceases to exist, and Sora and the gang move on to the next world. So yeah, I think this could be well implemented, and it could fit into the story very well, since there will no doubt be time travel involved in Kingdom Hearts III! So, what are your thoughts on this everyone?
  12. Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well then, as we all clearly know, we are desperately hyped for Kingdom Hearts III, and the obvious question in our minds is when the game will release? While some people say that it'll be next year and others say it'll be in 2016, I think that Kingdom Hearts III will end up coming to us in 2017. Here I shall explain my reasons. (If I made a topic out of this before, then I apologize, but I don't remember making a topic about this, I just remember posting in other topics relating to the release date of the game.) Now then, here I shall state my three reasons as to why I think the game will come out in 2017: Reason Number One: Now then, as we all know, we've been waiting for Kingdom Hearts III ever since we finished Kingdom Hearts II back in 2006, so that's a total of 8 years, but remember that we were waiting for a third game, but the game in and of itself wasn't announced way back then like Final Fantasy Versus XIII was. (Now known as Final Fantasy XV.) The game was officially announced last year, so in truth, we've only been waiting a year for this game, because now is when we officially know of its existence. I mean sure, we all speculated that a III would eventually arrive, and heck, I thought Birth By Sleep was Kingdom Hearts III at one point, but that wasn't the case, as it was revealed to be a prequel to the series. And well, 8 years since 2006, we've gotten all these amazing games that connect with the main story, and we've got the ReMixes, which are basically our hype devices for Kingdom Hearts III! Reason Number Two: I personally think that the game will take a four year development cycle. Think about it. The gap between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II is by four years. (2002-2006) For this reason, I believe that Kingdom Hearts III will come out in 2017, since it was announced last year. (Hence the development cycle would be from 2013-2017.) And when it comes to it, it makes sense, since Kingdom Hearts III is undoubtedly one of the many projects Nomura's involved in that will keep him busy until 2019. With that in mind, I think this is what will happen. We'll get a decent amount of news next year, a lot more news and advertisements in 2016, and 2017 will basically be the year when Square goes all out in blowing our hype meters to the limit. Reason Number Three: If all of you stop and think, take into account that 2017 will be the 15th Anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series, and what better way to commemorate 15 years of this amazing franchise than releasing Kingdom Hearts III? This final reason, I believe, is my most concrete of the reasons listed here, and well, I strongly think that Kingdom Hearts III will come out in 2017. But Nomura said that we'd get one Kingdom Hearts game a year, so what will Square Enix release in the meantime, you ask? Well, that's simple. Next year we're most probably going to get a Remaster of some sort, be it of the whole game or just the cutscenes of Dream Drop Distance, and I'm guessing that Nomura would try to incorporate something concerning Kingdom Hearts X in 2016 that will allow more fans to experience it, or something like that. So yeah, that's my theory of Kingdom Hearts III's release date. I'm one of the people who thinks that Square should take their time making this game. I want to play a masterpiece, not a rushed product, so please Square, make sure to release the game in 2017 and not a year later! So then, what do you all think? Does my theory make sense? I realize there may be some flaws in my theory, but hell, that's why I posted it here, so that we can all debate on the release date! So then, debate away!
  13. Now a lot of people seem to think that the only important thing in Coded/Re:Coded was the last scene, the one with Mickey and Data Sora taking to Data Namine. But can we be sure of that? What if Nomura decides to make the Datascape imperative to the plot of KH III? What if he decides the Data beings can somehow find a way into the physical worlds? It already seems that Malificent thinks she can get to Kingdom Hearts through the Datascape, what if Nomura has Xehanort get a similar idea? All I'm saying is, with the limited info we have on KH III right now, we don't really know how important Re:Coded will or will not end up being. Also, I haven't watch the cut scenes yet, no spoilers unless they're in tags okay? I want to be surprised. I'm not mini-modding, just making a personal request.
  14. Hello everyone. Shulk here, once again to help make the worlds better places for us all. I've already talked to you about the subject of a Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts III, and while the Moogle population has thrived since then, I've noticed another problem... One that has become much more menacing at this point in time. "When will Kingdom Hearts III be released?" "When will we see a release date?" "Will Kingdom Hearts III be released in 2015?" These are questions I've seen asked often. Of course, this is a subject that many Kingdom Hearts fans have on their mind. However, while I'm sure we all want to dive into the next adventure with Sora and friends, this question isn't as naive as it might seem. In fact, it has rather sinister results. You see, this question carries a certain desire to it. A longing desire. This desire manifests into negative feelings. Feelings of frustration that we haven't gotten to play the game yet. These negative feelings all merge together, and create... These. Yes. When people ask about the release date for the game so often, their desire eventually feeds the creation of the Unversed. Slowly but surely, we are introducing these creatures back into the worlds. They might not seem to have effects in our world, but in others, they are wreaking havoc. So, what do we do about this? It's simple: Be patient. I know that it's hard to wait. However, if we can all quietly wait for a release date, we can avoid the birth of these horrible, ravenous creatures. Please, help protect the worlds. Be patient and wait for Kingdom Hearts III. We don't want to rush Nomura with the game. We want it to be the best it can be. The game will be released eventually: We can't change when we can play it. All we can do is wait for it. Thank you for this time. This is Shulk, signing out. (Also, thanks to Reyn for finding the music selection this time around. His contribution will surely make the people of the worlds live better lives. Marth also gave me suggestions, so he is a life saver as well.)
  15. (Please don't debunk this just because it's part of Marvel or the date it comes out) Even though the movie didn't come yet, let us give our thoughts about it being in KH3 just from the trailers: how it'll fit with the story, the gameplay, party members, etc. So, as for party members, I think having duo party member of Baymax & Hiro would be cool as they seem inseparable in the trailers. As for the summon for the world, I was thinking, every time you use that summon, it brings a random hero from Big Hero 6. If the is no world for BH6, just have the two as a summon. As for story, maybe a version of Xehanort is disguised as a super-villain and is working with the BH6 villain and the two of them caught the other members of BH6. For Keyblade Transformations, have Sora's Keyblade turn into giant gauntlets, kinda like the Hulk's fist toys, and it gives Sora a huge boost in strength but low magic. Sora can get the ability Glide from this world. So what do you think? How do you think BH6 will work IF it was in KH3?
  16. Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well then, today I saw the film Big Hero 6, and I have to say that it was a truly amazing film, and I loved it to bits! Disney deserves a pat on the back for crafting such an amazing story! I can safely say that this film will truly be a joy to those who haven't seen it yet. Now then, after seeing this film, I really think it would fit well into Kingdom Hearts III, and I'll explain why, but to make sure that I don't spoil anyone about important facts of the movie, I shall provide a spoiler tag. So yeah, I really think that this film would make a great addition to Kingdom Hearts III! The characters and plot are awesome, and the locale of San Fransokyo is perfect, since it's a fictional locale. And Baymax is the most lovable, huggable, plushable, adorable robot you'll ever meet! He'd make an awesome party member, and plus, he could end up being a summon! So then, for those who have seen this film, do you think it'd fit well into Kingdom Hearts III?
  17. If Tangled is in Kingdom Hearts III...there is a good chance Zachary Levi will reprise his role as Flynn Rider. Why? Zachary Levi is self confessed gamer and did voice work for Square Enix's Tomb Raider in 2013.
  18. Well I don't know if its really answered but, to me in my opinion Xion will return in kh3. I know some say that she can't return due to the fact, everyone forgot about her, it will mess up sora's memories, she was only there to fit in a plot hole etc etc. But for me i think she will return from the "key to return hearts", maybe she had a replica heart or something? Like she said before, even if she will be forgotten the memories of what she did will always be there. Maybe the reports of the organization are still there, sure they said the memories of her are forgotten on their minds, but what about the reports? Sorry for not really able to explain to much about it been a while since I wrote a theory . What do you guys think?
  19. On one of the earlier posts, I had an idea. We all know Riku used the seven princesses of heart to forge the Keyblade to People's Hearts which was the black/red keyblade shown in KH1. What if he gathered enough materials and with the help of the Moogles, forged a brand new keyblade just like it. He would use this keyblade to unlock Sora's heart without turning him into a Heartless, and free all the souls imprisoned within him. Ventus, Roxas, Xion ect would become their own physical persons in the process. The keyblade could be forged using light instead of darkness. Since Riku is now a Keyblade Master, he would now have that ability. I would give the keyblade a name: "Liberation". (It's a better title than Keyblade to People's Hearts, IMO) What do you guys think?
