  1. Would you like to see other Square Enix characters in future Kingdom Hearts games? If so, who? Edit: For anyone who DARES to say they wouldn't put characters who use guns in Kingdom Hearts, LOOK AT CLAYTON. He had a shotgun and it shot bullets. Edit #2: The pirates of Port Royal had guns!
  2. Probably been asked before, but I'm genuinely interested to see everyone's responses. Are there any characters you like from FF that you thought they should've included?

  4. I've been thinking about a topic that has Been coming up in the KH community lately, that has to do with the game mechanics of KH3. We've all complained or thought how "slow" BBS and 3D has felt gameplay wise. What I mean is the lag in combos and dodges that you experience. What I'm getting at is I hope that KH3 won't be another broken game that you can just spam 1 OG move and dodge over and over again. KH2 have you a variety and a strategy to gaming. And I am scared that with the same team the worked on those handheld games, namely Osaka, will do the same to the next big installment. Bring the Tokyo Team back! We know they can make great KH games.
  5. Throughout the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 eras, Square had a fairly consistent structure called the Product Development Division System. The head of divisions would leave at times, but despite this and even when they merged with Enix the structure stayed mostly the same. I've detailed below the structure throughout the PlayStation & PlayStation 2 eras. Public details on the structure with the PlayStation 3 era is pretty bare with the introduction of the 1st Production Department in 2007 and some divisions folding and the emergence of mobile but I've done my best to detail them until the end of 2009 as well. For the current structure including projects from 2010 onwards, please see here. 6. My list for any Square Enix Ports in the future whether it be a FFXV port, or a KH3 port *Resolution past 1080p at least up to 4K *Unlocked Framerate seriously I absolutely hate it when my FPS is locked at 30FPS playable, but I still don't like it. *Texture configuration you know the basic Low-High-Ultra settings * Anti-Aliasing options you know FXAA, MSAA , MSAA x(whatever) * Good SLI Scaling a three way SLI/CrossFire shouldn't be getting less FPS than a two way CrossFire/SLI of the same card. *DirectX12/Vulkan Support What is your guys lists

  8. As some of you may be aware, Square Enix is using visual motion capture to use in making the characters of FINAL FANTASY XV not only feel more alive, but personal. Square recently released a pdf of the presentation used at CEDEC 2015. It contains a ton of information on the visual works motion capture. You can find the pdf here, however note it is in Japanese primarily. Credit here
  9. The vinyl is a limited edition release of the FINAL FANTASY VIII Original Soundtrack. Only 2,000 copies with the serial code will be given away in the UK. It's going for 49,99 pounds. You can pre-order it here. Credit here
  10. With all the hype building up with Kingdom Hearts III, I believe KH3 will be the biggest one in the series. One thing though that interests me is how much more Disney is involved with KH3 than the previous titles. At E3, when they announced Tangled; Roy Conli stated that there is an amazing collaboration with Disney and Square Enix, while Greg Coleman stated that they're working with the best animated story tellers and the best game developers in the world to put it out. It got me thinking, after KH3 is released, do you think Kingdom Hearts will be more involved with Disney? (not game-wise) Maybe Kingdom Hearts in Disneyland or Disneyworld or probably a Kingdom Hearts Movie!(hey, one can dream) Anyhow, what do you think? Does it seem Disney is more involved with KH3 than in previous games? Post your comments, thanks for reading!
  11. FFXV Active Time Report at PAX Prime finished, but what did it bring us? Tabata has yet again stated that FFXV is releasing in 2016. The exact release date is set to be announced in March of 2016. We saw gorgeous new concept art. This Leviathan will be female BTW. ^^ This plays a major role in the story, as it depicts Luna fleeing from an invaded city. We saw a new driving trailer. FFXV's twitter account went active. Overall, it was an amazing ATR! The hype is real!
  12. Business Division 1 Motomu Toriyama's project - Either FFVII Remake or an unannounced title. 13. Square Enix is no longer publishing Call of Duty in Japan. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia will instead be publishing it, like they have been for Destiny. As a result, there will not be Xbox One or Xbox 360 versions released in Japan this year. It is unclear if Square Enix's partnership with Activison is over or not.
  14. They have so much coming up at PAX Prime, especially the Final Fantasy XV ATR. If you guys like to see the list, here it is http://na.square-enix.com/us/blog/pax-prime-2015-line
  15. Seriously, FFIX is one THE BEST entries in the FF series. So why is it so forgotten? Final Fantasy's I-VII have all seen remakes or ports of some kind. FFVIII was ported to PC and it's main character made multiple appearances in the Kingdom Hearts series. FFX has got a sequel (and might get another soon) and been ported twice. FFXI has appeared on multiple platforms and has an enormous lifespan. FFXII has a sequel and is likely for an HD remaster soon. FFXIII is the first FF series to get a trilogy and has already been ported to PC. FFXIV has got an expansion pack and regular updates. ... But what about that other one? What has FFIX gotten? Vivi made a VERY brief appearance in KH2 and that's about it. It made cameo appearances, but so did every other game, which leaves IX as the official most forgotten FF ever... I really want a PS4 remake, or AT LEAST a PC/PS4 remaster.
  16. So now that Kingdom Hearts has officially crossed over into the Disney Infinity universe (which is actually the first time the series has crossed over into another third party video game console), with Disney Infinity 3.0 having a special Keyblade weapon to unlock after 100% everything, including all figures bought from DI1.0 - DI3.0 and maxing them to their levels, and having a Power Disc (a disc that helps upgrade your character's costume or abilities; in this case, costume) where you can change Mickey's regular form into his Kingdom Hearts outfit, we might have a chance at seeing more things in store with Disney Infinity focused on the Kingdom Hearts franchise. One interesting thing to note about, is that the previous Disney Infinity games put small, detailed teasers that would be focused on the next theme of the series. Disney Infinity 1.0 and 2.0 teased with items from the Star Wars series through the Ultimate Unlock system, having to 100% everything to be able to access them. 1.0 had the Lightsaber weapon, and 2.0 had a Star Wars ship you can be able to ride around. Today we found out that the next Ultimate Unlock item is the Keyblade from the Kingdom Hearts series. With that said, this meant Square-Enix and Disney Infinity had previous discussions on how to implement something from the Kingdom Hearts series into the game's universe. Could this mean bigger plans for the future of the Disney Infinity cross over with Kingdom Hearts? With just this teaser, we might be able to see Kingdom Hearts again in the future with Disney Infinity. What's even more to think about, is having a Disney Infinity game entirely focusing on the Kingdom Hearts franchise this time. This means we might get all of the Kingdom Hearts figures, including Sora, Riku, Kairi, Ven, Terra, Aqua, Organization members, Xehanort, etc., Play Sets based on each game of the series (Play sets are pieces you place on the Disney Infinity base to access story-like mode with cutscenes, bosses and missions to complete) for example: one play set focusing on Kingdom Hearts 1, another with Kingdom Hearts 2, one with Birth By Sleep and so forth. Power Discs that could give you different keyblades from various Kingdom Hearts games (Decisive Pumpkin, Kingdom D, etc) and other Kingdom Hearts outfits like Donald's and (possibly Goofy's) costume. And much more. It also seems that Disney Infinity loves coming out with more games when big events are going on, example: Disney Infinity 2.0 came out when Avengers was still hot, and Disney Infinity 3.0 is coming out with the new Star Wars episode on the horizon, Disney Infinity 4.0 could come out when KH3 is near it's release, and might even have a Play Set focused on Kingdom Hearts 3! What do you think? If this were to happen, what specifically would you buy, and what wouldn't you get? What would you love to see enter Disney Infinity 4.0 based from the Kingdom Hearts series?
  17. Shortly following the premiere at Gamescom, the footage of the Rise of the Tomb Raider demo has been uploaded to YouTube. The demo begins with a cutscene of Lara Croft being driven through a rugged terrain by a hired driver before their jeep is over taken by a militia aircraft. After narrowly escaping, the rest of the demo features Lara wandering through several different environments that showcase many of the situations that you may encounter within the game while also giving you a few snippets of plot information. Rise of the Tomb Raider is scheduled to be released on the Xbox One & Xbox 360 November 10th of this year for North America, November 12th for Australia, and November 13th for Europe. Rise of the Tomb Raider will also be released for Windows in early 2016 and for PlayStation 4 in late 2016.
  18. The official Twitch channel on Twitch has listed the official streaming schedule for E3 2015. With the schedule shown on the channel, it shows that the Square Enix E3 Conference will last for an hour, and that various others sessions of Square Enix content will be livestreamed later on. Also, it's been confirmed that Square Enix's conference will feature Japanese games. Square Enix content will appear on twitch.tv/Twitch at the following times (all listed in USA PDT): Update: Square Enix have uploaded an , teasing the content of their main conference and for the rest of E3. Many titles already confirmed to appear are listed, and the video teases that many more titles will be kept a secret until their conference. Square Enix have also announced that the full E3 2015 streaming schedule on Square Enix Presents will be revealed at 11:30am (USA PDT) on the first day of E3, Tuesday June 16 – 30 minutes after their conference has ended. 19. Square Enix has announced their E3 2015 press conference will run for one hour, 10-11AM PT.
  20. Here's the all the ones I think should be: Soul Reaver 2 Blood Omen 2 Legacy of Kain: Defiance Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness Project: Snowblind Urban Chaos: Riot Response
  21. The following is all the Square Enix titles that are certain to appear, likely to appear, with a good chance to appear and also the titles with little chance or no chance at all. The beauty of this year is these titles could appear in a variety of ways: Microsoft's press conference, Sony's press conference, Nintendo's live stream, Square Enix's press conference, at Square Enix's booth or simply online. The titles certain to appear: Rise of the Tomb Raider Just Cause 3 Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness Hitman 6 Dragon Quest Heroes Life is Strange The titles likely to appear: Motomu Toriyama's new title Mobius Final Fantasy Final Fantasy Explorers Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ Bravely Second Kingdom Hearts III The titles with a good chance to appear: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 & 2.5 ReMIX for PS4 Kingdom Hearts 3D HD Remaster Theatrhythm Dragon Quest Final Fantasy XII HD Remaster The titles with a slim chance to appear: Lightning Saga for PlayStation 4 & Xbox One Final Fantasy VIII PS4 port Hitman: Absolution - Definitive Edition Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Definitive Edition Final Fantasy Agito/Final Fantasy Agito+ SaGa (2015) Dissidia Final Fantasy Final Fantasy VII G-Bike Dragon Quest X Dragon Quest XI Dragon Quest 3DS titles Final Fantasy Legends: Crystal of Space-Time A new Mana game Chaos Rings III: Prequel Trilogy Final Fantasy Portal App Triad Wars Nosgoth The titles with little or no chance of appearing: Theatrhythm Kingdom Hearts Rampage Land Rankers Final Fantasy XI: Rhapsodies of Vana’diel Final Fantasy Grandmasters Final Fantasy XI Mobile School of Ragnarok Rise of Mana Holy Dungeon Final Fantasy III PS4 port Final Fantasy V PC port Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius Bravely Archive: D’s Report Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- & The 3rd Birthday HD remasters Final Fantasy 3DS port Final Fantasy II 3DS port Additional note: They could release the trailers for the PS4 port of Final Fantasy VII and the PC port of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII during E3 but they could also easily release them before E3 which is why I have decided not to list them.
  22. Eidos Interactive co-published a little game called Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. And unless something expired, Square Enix could well hold publishing rights to it.
