I would love to hear your feedback
  3. I've just published my film/cinema review of Disney's BIG HERO 6 and I also talk about Kingdom Hearts too in reference to Kingdom Hearts III! Hope you enjoy! You can see the review below or on my website via the link below. What do you think of the review? Any good? Fair? Comments are most welcome below, and on my website too. BIG HERO 6 REVIEW andrew-hankinson.co.uk/film/bighero6/ Hi-ho, Andrew the Hank here with yet another spectacular film review! Sorry for the delay; it’s been a month since I’ve seen the film! Busy, busy, busy with BA, Dominos, etc. So without further delay lets gets on with it; THE FOLLOWING CONTENT CONTAINS SCENES OF STRONG SPOILERS! The 54th Walt Disney animation, BIG HERO 6! Hiro is a boy genius who doesn’t utilise his potential until his brother Tadashi introduces him to his ‘nerd’ school, his friends (Fred, Wasabi, Honey-Lemon and Go-go) and his latest creation; an inflatable health care robot called Baymax. Hiro is inspired and when he attempts to be accepted by the school, tragedy befalls and Tadashi dies in a fire at the school. Hiro discovers the fire wasn’t accidental as initially thought and teams up with Baymax and Tadashi’s friends to track down and capture the culprit. After using the same qualities found in all Disney films (family members dead/in deep distress, heroic sacrifices, humorous sidekicks, merchandising) and the same life lessons (having friends is good, love conquers, believe in yourself, keep moving forward), Big Hero 6 has become another Disney classic and even won the best animated film at the Oscars this year. For this film it was the Saltcoats Premier Cinema again with my aunt and papa (yes, that’s what I call my granddad). We went for the 11:30 showing and the short film started exactly at that time, when we came in. Forgot the adverts were before the showing time; should have remembered after seeing Guardians of the Galaxy here. Anyway we came in as it started so grabbed the first seats we could find at the front in the centre. The seats were good, the picture quality was great and the sound was ok; it wasn’t louder than Odeon, but it was acceptable. I realised half way through the film that I didn’t see if my papa had his hearing aids in or on, so there was a possibility he couldn’t hear the film; he tends to stick them in and use them more as earplugs than hearing aids. It turns out he didn’t have them in, but it was loud enough for him to hear. So yes as soon as we got into the cinema a short film called “Feast” was played before Big Hero 6; it is through the point-of-view of a gluttonous dog who watches the relationship between his owner and their girlfriend through the meals they share. I thought it was good (it won the award for best short film at the Oscars this year as well) but I wouldn’t say it was my favourite; Paperman is still my favourite short film at the moment. I liked the short’s use of colour with the unhealthy food and with the green coloured food representing the girlfriend, but felt it had similar uses of connotations as Paperman. There is so much popularity with superhero films in recent years, and Disney creating a feature length animation with Marvel inspiration was a great idea. San Fransokoyo is brilliant and beautiful, combining the American superhero culture and the Japanese origins of the original Big Hero 6. It has the layout, hills, tram system and Golden Gate bridge of San Francisco with Japanese aesthetics to it (modern buildings, streets and neon lights; and traditional buildings, gardens and cherry blossom trees); it essentially looks like a futuristic version of San Francisco. The scene with Hiro and Baymax flying around the city was brilliant, but I feel that way of showing off the location and animation was nicked from How To Train Your Dragon. We wanted to see the Stan Lee clip after the credits but decided not to wait till the very end since no one else was there apart from the cleaner. I managed to find it on YouTube though (imagine it won’t be there for long) and thought it was great. Stan Lee’s caricature was brilliantly done and was a great addition; just wish we stayed to see it. I KNEW Krei wasn’t the villain! It was a twist within a twist for me; once the main characters start suspecting someone, you know immediately it won’t be them (this is Scooby Doo basics), but I was thinking the guy behind the mask was going to be Tadashi. In the end I was still surprised, but I was like Hiro and couldn’t get over Tadashi’s death; maybe I just watch too many Marvel films (except Spider-man films – everyone dies in them). And why was Baymax’s sacrifice so emotional?! Even while I was watching it I was thinking he’s a robot and Hiro could easily create another, yet I thought it was sad. Maybe it was the “I will always be with you” moment. The final scene/pose with all six of them was pretty epic too…but kinda nicked off the final scene from How To Train Your Dragon again. Overall I think Big Hero 6 is a great Disney animation and can be titled a classic unlike other Disney films; eh–Black Cauldron–hem! But here’s the big question: do I think it’s better than Frozen? It’s hard to say which is better because the films are two different styles/ genres of Disney animations; typical split into Disney’s take on classical fairy tales and original modern style stories. Both are brilliant in their own rights and can be liked by all ages and genders, but I would say Frozen is probably more popular because girly girls who love princesses will buy (or at least torment their parents endlessly until they buy) the tons of merchandising like dolls, toys, dresses and sing alongs. Whereas Big Hero 6 isn’t as musical; it’s more action packed and probably more for wee boys who imagine and aspire to be heroes and Marvel/Disney geeks like me. It’s slightly sexist, but true – let it go! The next in line with Disney animations is Zootropolis (Zootopia in America) set to release on 4th of March, 2016, about a modern city filled with animal inhabitants, and Lt. Judy Hopp (a rabbit) trying to prove herself in the police force by investigating and cracking a case; …strange but interesting. Apart from that, the next animated film related to Disney is Pixar’s Inside Out (releasing on 24th of July 2015). I am intrigued by the idea (personified emotions in people’s heads), but have no idea how Pixar will use it. I feel it would have more benefit as a short film, but I trust Pixar to do a good job as they haven’t done wrong with their films yet (with very slight exceptions for Cars 2 and Brave). I remember questioning Up when the teaser trailer first came out, but now it’s up there as one of the most popular Pixar, if not animated, films of all time. Will there be a sequel to Big Hero 6? There is a lot the Disney animators could do with this concept and I would love to see the characters and their world again (maybe other famous cities with Japanese aesthetics about them), but I feel like Disney and Marvel are already rolling in the money with their superhero films, and should maybe let DC Comics take the floor for a while. Big Hero 6 is absolutely fine on its own, and if they were to make a sequel it should be worth it and not just for cash. The two directors (Don Hall and Chris Williams) are still recovering from their hard work on this film and haven’t talked about a sequel, but in Don mentioned, “we love these characters, and the thought of working with them again some day definitely has its appeal.” Fist bump – balalalala! In my last review I talked about video games (specifically Children of Men’s connection to The Last of Us) and I feel it’s appropriate in this review to include the video game franchise, Kingdom Hearts. A video game franchise that combines the characters from Square Enix games like Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You, and the characters and worlds of Disney films like Lion King, Nightmare Before Christmas, Beauty and the Beast, Pirates of the Caribbean and Tron. There is much speculation as to what worlds/characters will feature in the next game in the series, Kingdom Hearts 3, with the possible inclusions of Wreck-it Ralph, Frozen, or even the Pixar, Star Wars, or Avenger films, but I would like to talk about Big Hero 6 as a valid candidate. Big Hero 6 I think would be brilliant, not just for the modern and varied characters, enticing storyline or its beautiful visual appearance, but I think the exploration/side missions could be great in San Fransokyo! After completing the world’s main storyline, you could pair up with different members of Big Hero 6 and do heroic work through the streets of the city. To date none of the 3D Disney animation (except Chicken Little’s character as a summon) have featured in Kingdom Hearts, so will be interesting to see how they adapt to the game’s look. The two remastered games of Kingdom Hearts (1.5 HD ReMIX and 2.5 HD ReMIX) are available to buy for PlayStation 3. Kingdom Hearts 3 has been highly anticipated for many years and there still isn’t a release date, but I reckon it will release during the first half of 2017 (my opinion, not fact!). Well that’s it for another review! Big Hero 6 was another triumph and has merited the title of “Classic Disney animation” for it’s beautiful visuals, interesting and action-packed storyline, great characters, and it’s typical Disney lessons. Feast was good, but hasn’t become my favourite short film. Kingdom Hearts is a great video game franchise; give it a try. And the Premier Cinema was fine; sound, seats and picture quality was good. Before I go, I shall leave a clue for my next review: there are no strings on me! And on that bomb-shell, I hope you are satisfied with your care. 4. Prologue - Alphabets "A is the letter of beginning. Z is the letter of the end. These alphabets are the symbol of words for the people like us in the world that uses to describe ourselves; our look, our personalities, and of course....our name. Without it,it could be nothing for us. That Letter was a bridge that leads to who we are. However, there was a tale where people obtain only of their name and a letter of their own, were trying to find an answer of the letter's true existence and their hidden personifications within those letters of themselves. All for their answers of their existence. These people who seek letters were known as Nominas. These Nominas are able to perform a power that came from those Letters itself, making them a supernatural being. As that power of the Letters was the key to awaken the Nomina's hidden selves,it is the Letters that will unravel it's deeper truths. Thus, there will be a conflict of the Nominas where the waging war will be the personification's naught. And for that, I would like to tell you this tale in the next time we meet. Farewell..." 6. SO I GOTTA WRITE A CHILDREN'S STORY FOR A TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS ASSOCIATION STATE COMPETITION. AND THIS IS ALL I'VE GOT. IS THERE ANY WHY YOU GUYS CAN HELP ME MAKE IT BETTER? I've gotta make sure children understand it. Also can you guys try to point out my mistakes? Communication story Main character- Megan, a deaf girl. She cannot hear, and was born like that. She is 8 years old and uses different ways to communicate with her friends, and grandparents. Age Aimed- Aimed towards children in grades 3-5th ~~~~~~ This is Megan. She's eight years old, and is deaf. Deaf means that she can't hear. So how does she communicate with people? Communication is a big word for talking with others. You may be able to talk with people at school, but Megan can't hear people she is talking to. Even though Megan is deaf, she can still speak, and the people speaking to her have to use Sign Language. Sign Language is a language of the lands, and if you want to talk to Megan, you have to talk with her with your hands. Megan has other ways to talk to people with her Grandparents over the phone. When she wants to call her papa, she uses her cautioned telephone. Usually when you use a telephone, you hear what the other person is saying, but Megan's telephone shows what the other person is saying on a screen that she can read. Even though Megan may not be able to hear, she can still live normally with a little bit of help. She can watch TV with the words at the bottom, and can email people as well. Megan is just like you and me, so treat her well, and try to learn sign language so nobody can be left out!
  7. I would like to write a story including some members from KH13. It might be silly so I was wanting to ask permission from some people if they would mind me using them in the story, I wanted to make it so the majority of my friends could see it, so I could just update if I have a plot idea without having to track that particular person down to ask them. If you wouldn't mind to be in the story reply to this with a Yes, I do not mind. If you would not want to be included in this story reply to this with a No, I do not wish to be in your story! To mods, I'm not sure if I put this in the right section. But please understand this was meant for the site to see.
  8. Hey. Just thought I'd start posting about my film reviews here since I'm gradually going into game reviews, and will hopefully be including Kingdom Hearts in my next film review which I'll hopefully get done in the next few weeks! Also because there may be film fanatics out like myself and may be interested. Anyway I've just published my film/cinema review of Alfonso Cuarón's CHILDREN OF MEN and I also talk a lot about Naughty Dog's THE LAST OF US video game too as there is quite a big link between the film and the game! Hope you enjoy! You can see the review on my website via the link below: http://andrew-hankinson.co.uk/film/children-of-men/ I also have a whole selection of other reviews below if you're interested as well: The LEGO Movie Captain America: The Winter Soldier The Amazing Spiderman 2 Maleficent Guardians of the Galaxy Doctor Who – Deep Breath What We Did On Our Holiday It’s A Wonderful Life Kingsman: The Secret Service Children of Men

  10. A young man, semi-handsome with brunette hair is walking the streets of New York. Then all of a sudden he hears a police siren and sees a group of people surrounding something, he tries to run towards them, unfortunately it is his uncle (Ben Parker). When Peter Parker is near him, Uncle Ben whispers something into his ear. A feeling of rage overwhelmes him as he runs from the crowd and puts on his Spidey costume. Cut to an abandoned building as a criminal (his face is covered in shadow) is panicked that he can't escape the cops. The criminal hears a creak, and then sees Spider-Man being very angry-like and is close to beating him to a pulp. SPIDER-MAN: ''WHO ARE YOU? WHY DID YOU SHOOT HIM?'' The criminal reveals his face to be none other than Peter Parker himself CRIMINAL: ''Wouldn't you like to know?'' He laughs in a clichéd evil laugh as a black gooey-thing surrounds Peter Parker This is all just a PTSD-induced dream Now for the real tone of the movie Peter Parker has been Spider-Man for a couple of months, he picks up a newspaper that has just entered the mail-lounge-thingy. The paper headline says ''MASKED MENACE SPIDER-MAN CONTINUES HIS CRUSADE, by J JONAH JAMESON'' ''PICTURE COURTESY OF PETER PARKER'' Peter Parker is in a not-so-shiny looking apartment where he is eating a 5-dollar sandwich for breakfast. Telephone: ''RING'' It's a message by J Jonah Jameson: ''You're late, Parker! Bring in new pictures of Spider-Man or you're fired!'' Peter: ''Typical'' Another message, it's Mary Jane Watson: ''You awake, tiger?'' Peter smiles thinking ''Well, life isn't all bad.'' Peter gets off his chair and as he leaves his apartment, the camera cuts to his closet where his iconic red and blue Spidey costume is. LOGO: Spider-Man
  11. This is basically an idea i have for a series of Power Rangers fanfics, on this topic i'll mention the title and the intended tone MAGES OF THE FOREST (Mystic Force/Magiranger) - Merlin, but set in modern times SPACE PATROL DELTA (SPD/Dekaranger) - Agents of SHIELD LIGHTSPEED RESCUE (Lightapeed Rescue/GoGoV) - Thunderbirds meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer What do u guys think?
  12. VARIETY, APPROACH & TONE What i like about the recent MARVEL movies/TV Shows, is that none of them feels like a carbon copy of the other. One day you might get a political/conspiracy thriller in the form of a spy story (CAPTAIN AMERICA: Winter Soldier) and the other you might get a space-opera swashbuckling action-comedy (GUARDIANS) Even though there is one guy who comes up with all these ideas (Kevin Fiege) he allows his directors and scriptwriters to bring in their own vision on board. FLAWED CHARACTERS None of these characters are perfect, even though they have all these cool powers (a hi-tech armor, a hammer that manipulates lightning etc) they still have the flaws that any normal person would have. Tony Stark is a billionaire with a vast intelligence, and yet he is still distracted by the pleasures of alcohol and sex Thor, he is just Thor, the god of thunder from Norse mythology the power to manipulate the weather via Mjolnir (or myuh-myuh). And yet he is an arrogant jerk with a big ego. SYMPATHETIC VILLAINS Loki was lied to his entire life about being a son of Asgard and when you find out that he is actually a Frost Giant all along you understand why he is all pissed off. And, from what i've heard about Ultron in the upcoming Avengers sequel he is going to have that same quality of character development. HUMOR & DIALOGUE You can't have a good story without some good dialogue and humor. IT INTRODUCED ME TO JOSS WHEDON Nuff Said
  13. PHASE ONE (Street Level) To start with, and to easily introduce people to my universe, i'll start street level. Daredevil VS Punisher: Crime and Punishment - Spring 2015 ''Blinded by a chemical as a kid, Matt Murdock is a lawyer-by-day, and vigilante-by-night who defends his hometown from crime boss The Kingpin'' Sensational Spider-Man - Summer 2015 ''Orphaned as a young boy, Peter Benjamin Parker is bitten by a genetically altered Spider and has to learn the hard way that 'With great power comes great responsibility' '' These are the stories i have in mind so far, i'll update it
  14. I accept the part of me that's always in conflict. I embrace my temptations, without allowing them to control my actions. A person who is pure at heart and always innocent has never experienced the world as it is. A person who has never had a scar has never had pain in her life. What do u guys think? I've heard of a thing called a DnD allignment chart, and i was wondering where I would be placed within it.
  15. Hey there everyone, how's it going? Well then, I'm going to post a poem here, since I haven't done so in a while. This poem is inspired by a scene in Re:Coded, where Roxas teaches Sora the meaning of hurt. And, well, it's also inspired by my emotions. Hope you all enjoy! Hurt The heart is a mysterious thing, something we cannot comprehend. A part of us that guides our emotions, even to the bitter end. While the heart can be filled with joy, it can also be filled with hurt. A pain that reaches inside you, which is the worst. Pain, sorrow, sadness, suffering. Why do we go through such things? Could it be that this is some sort of test? Is it a game that challenges us to discover what's next? The hurt inside can cause searing pain. Making us feel barren and plain. We wander the world with this lingering feeling, wondering if it has any meaning. To find is to lose, and to lose is to find. Are emotions what you want to lose? Or is it love that you want to find? Whatever the case, it is up for you to choose. Cast aside your hurt, and forget that the pain was there. You don't need to remember, it's only fair. Or will you keep the hurt and let it gnaw at your heart? Carrying it with you will just make you want it to stop. What is love? What is suffering? What is the meaning of such things? If you choose the hurt, then know one fact. It's something simple, elementary, at that. Learn to accept the hurt, and it'll make you stronger. Meanwhile, I shall rest, until my heart is ready to awaken again... ------------------------ So yeah, that was the poem! I hope you all found it to your enjoyment!
  16. Hey, everyone! I'm grateful for the time you've taken to read this, so I'll make this introductory statement as brief as possible. Let's start with an explanation. My inspiration for this story came from none other than our very own Master Eraqus, whose story, "The Extreme Purifier"(Link), has been floating around the forums for quite some time. After hearing about his own inspiration for his story, a theory video by HMK and Skyward Wing(Link), I thought that it would be fun to pen my own take on the concept of an Extreme Purifier. So over the past few days I've been working on this brief prologue, and I've posted it here to get some outside opinions. I hope you'd be willing to take the time to post your thoughts, but please, do not say the story is perfect as it is. Oh, and just a heads up, some of this could be considered not safe for kids. Nothing graphic, but it definitely isn't Disney levels of innocence. Key: ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ “The arrogance of the human mind is to believe that we understand anything. The humility of the human mind is to understand that we know nothing, but must strive to know all.” ~Nameless Report, Entry 9 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Out of nothing, I awoke. At one moment, there was only darkness around me, but in the next my senses returned like lighting. Pain and irritation shot down my limbs; my vision blurred as the dark veil obscuring my eyes was torn, revealing a harsh world of blinding light. I could barely move, forced to wait and struggle like an infant as my worthless limbs refused to obey me. Something wet stung my face. Tears, perhaps tied to the uneasiness that brewed within my chest. I could recall nothing. No sorrow, no bliss that would awaken such a stirring in my soul. I knew immediately that something was terribly, horribly wrong. The cotton deafness in my ears peeled away, as a barrage of dull noise assaulted me. I could feel something through the cold floor below, something shaking and reverberating. I feared what it was, but why I could not say. I struggled to my feet, my arms and legs burning with the strain. My head swam with a myriad of thoughts as I struggled to take in everything at once. And it was only then that I noticed the dull quakes were growing more frequent. Standing prostrate as I could manage, I peered around the room. Everything was white as snow, at least, all that I could see. I stumbled forward, my impaired vision forcing me to feel my way through the white void. My legs buckled, sending me stumbling forwards, yet I managed to catch myself upon a large cold object. I blinked away the wetness in my eyes, and focused upon my sight as hard as I was able. Slowly, a riveted surface came into view before me, and its definition rang a familiar tone in my mind. “A pillar.” I muttered to myself. Suddenly, the rest of my senses started to come flooding back. My vision sharpened, my ears stiffened, and my hands clenched shut. A choking breath caught in my throat as I was briefly overwhelmed, yet I managed to fight it off. Now at least partially lucid, I finally managed to take a full view of the room in which I found myself. Everything looked as though it had been white-washed, from the floors to the aforementioned pillars, an almost countless number of which adorned the large halls. They climbed high into the space above my head, disappearing into heights which my eyes could not reach. The room truly was massive; I could see very little beyond the spires that jutted up from the floor around me. After getting my bearings, I once again took notice of the monotonous quaking still resounding all around me. With little else to occupy myself with, I resolved to find the source of whatever the strange sound was, and hopefully some kind of clue that would shed light on where I was. I took a few careful steps, the dull reverberations almost throwing me off balance at certain points. Using the pillars to support myself, I proceeded through the seemingly endless room, towards what I thought may be the source of the incessant noise. Luckily, it seemed like my guesses were paying off, as I could sense the quakes growing louder as I continued on. Methodically gauging the distance to each thump, I slowly began working my way towards the epicenter. As I approached, I noticed that the pillars around me began to diverge and become less clustered in their arrangement. By observing the patterns in the pillars, I made a guess that they were gradually opening up to a large and expansive area. After a few more moments of careful treading, the Pillars began to disappear completely from my field of vision, becoming too distant for my eyes to follow. I found myself in a vast expanse of white, a place almost devoid of being, save for one lone structure. Not too far ahead, I noticed a large and extravagant marble throne, upon which stood a tall, fair woman. She possessed long and golden hair that flowed down her sprawling white robes, and wore an ornate mask that obscured her eyes. Kneeling before the woman was a haggard man, gasping for air and struggling to keep himself upright. In his hand he held a large key, which he used to support himself as he tried to stand. With some effort he found his footing, and immediately charged forward with a deafening yell. He braced the key with both of his hands, and in a single swing brought his full momentum crashing towards the woman, who merely stood, unfazed. I watched in confusion as the man’s strike was stopped short in the middle of the air, and as he was thrown back like a rag doll. Yet, despite seemingly striking nothing, the contact of the man’s attack reverberated through the chamber in an ear-splitting clang, almost as if he had struck an iron wall. The peal was so unbearable, that I was forced to cover my ears in an attempt to keep out the horrible noise. Following the man’s strike, a deft rumble shook the foundation at my feet, nearly rocking me to the ground. After the shock-wave had passed, I looked up and slowly began to remove my hands from my ears. The man, despite being tossed aside, quickly found his footing, and proceeded to leap forward for a second strike. I preemptively moved to cover my ears once more, as again the man’s attack merely bounced off an invisible wall, and another agonizing metal screech rang through the air. I looked up. The man who had been attacking knelt again before the woman, struggling to catch his breath. Suddenly, as if from nothingness, a voice sounded all around me, invading my mind and sending a shiver down my spine. I couldn’t even put into words how it felt; indescribably soothing, yet somehow terrifying, malicious and shrill all at once. Slowly, the voice began to form words from thin air, and those words began to weave into piercing thoughts. From the emptiness, it spoke. “Why do you fight, knowing what you know? Why do you resist that which must come to pass? You have seen the end… and it is soon. In time all will be complete and you will be revealed for what you truly are; pitiful worms mewling for the promise of a long-dead salvation. And you will fight and bicker and destroy for that which destroys you, and I will watch as this pitiful world is reborn into a land of promise and jubilation. You will be remembered as nothing more than a villain who fought this very salvation I sought for you, if you are fortunate enough to be remembered at all. So I ask again, why do you fight?” All was quiet. A terrible sense of dread filled my heart, something darker than anything I could possibly imagine was taking place. My eyes darted around the room, as I struggled to stifle my shivering body. Where had the voice come from? The man had done nothing, and the woman’s mouth had yet to move. Was there someone else here? Suddenly, the silence was broken by something almost foreign to me at this point, the sound of another person’s voice. The man rose to his feet, and addressed the woman directly. “What’s become of you?” He said softly. “You were once so full of hope, so full of joy. Your smile brought comfort to all; you could mend a broken soul and patch a shattered heart. You sought to make the world a better place… not to burn it down and start a new one!” The man threw his arm to the side in anger. “You’ve changed.” He muttered bitterly. “You’re no savior, you’re a monster.” The man raised his weapon and braced himself. “And you need to be stopped.” He finished. The woman showed no signs of emotion, no change in expression that would show the man’s words impacted her at all, if they were even meant for her in the first place. Once again, a cold chill racked my body, as the voice returned to speak once more. “Your words mean nothing, and your actions, even less. You know that you cannot defeat me, not now. There remain only two… and soon they will both receive their just rewards. As for the one who fights alongside you…” the voice stopped, and with it, my heart. A bitter wind blew by as I was assaulted with an indescribable sense of dread. “My dear!” The voice echoed. “Why, I didn’t see you there!” The woman turned towards me, her expression terribly lifeless as her concealed eyes shook my soul with their invisible glare. Suddenly, the man turned to face me, shocked and terrified. “Raid!” He called out, as he lunged for me with blinding speed. Almost faster than my eyes could follow, a large white spear appeared in the woman’s hands, and in the time it took for me to draw in another haggard breath, she had sent it flying towards my heart. Time froze, and it felt like everything would hang forever more in motionless terror. But in a split second that felt like an eternity, time began again. I looked up to see the man standing before me, his soft face and warm blue eyes meeting my terrified gaze. A large white spear-head stained in blood jutted from his chest. Struggling to speak, he muttered the words, “Run.” I was unable to think. Unable to breath. All I could do was turn and flee as fast as I could. The pillars surrounding the area began to shake uncontrollably, as a horrible scream ripped through the vast chamber. From within the pealing shriek, the voice from before called out in a shrill echo: “No! You will not escape me again!” I ran as fast as I could, not daring a second to look back. The pillars began to collapse around me, as darkness slowly started to encroach upon my vision. I felt my legs grow weak, and the air grow heavy. I felt countless arms reaching for me, desperately trying to pull me into the abyss. I felt pain and terror the likes of which I could have never even imagined. And then, everything faded to black. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
  17. VERSE ONE Who am I? Well, how nice of you to ask I am called by many names Some people call me Loki, God of Mischief Others call me Hades, Lord of the Underworld But, commonly I am known as Lucifer, the fallen angel I was true beauty. I was an assassin for those who claimed their name as ruler-of-all. Until my boss cast me out of heaven, for questioning his actions, total prick I tell you Now I live as a mere commoner, stripped of my power and have no reason to fight for my purpose But now that I have found you, someone who pities me, I’m not sure if I should welcome you as a friend or loathe you as an enemy. I shall let fate decide that

  19. Main char defeats Heartless in Traverse Town and befriends Leon and Cid. Then returns to Daybreak Town and is told by Unicornoius to head for Twilight Town. Upon arriving he encounters a Darkside and is joined by an unknown key blade wielder who helps him kill the Darkside. However main char is the only one who is able to collect the Lux. This person who helped him wears a long black coat and his face covered by the coat’s hood. As main char says his thanks the unknown person runs off. Main char attempts to follow him but the person strikes back with their keyblade. The person says for him to stay out of his way. I only helped you for my own needs not for you. Then the person jumps up into the air and does a series of wall jumps onto a roof and then proceeds to run. The point of view changes to this unknown person right before he saw the main char fighting the Darkside. He says to himself that he’ll join the fight to see this keyblade warrior’s strength. Then after the Darkside is killed the person runs and hears the Main char follow closely behind. With an annoyed sigh he swings his key towards the main char. Then tells him that I only helped you for my own needs, not for you. Then he jumps up onto a roof and proceeds to run away. As he is a good distance from the main char he slows down and stops to rest. Then he removes his hood to reveal a young man’s face with Gray short hair with a red scarf aaround his neck and yellow eyes. Then a few large bodies appear he easily defeats them with a Thunderaga spell. Then he speaks aloud to himself. So the chosen wielder has come. The time for the Keyblade War is soon to come to us. Then he opens a Dark Corridor and walks inside. The Main char is in the sandlot fighting a bunch of Heartless. Afterwards a boy comes up to him. He introduces himself as Pence. The main char tells him his name. Pence says those Monsters have been appearing all over lately, Pence asks the main char if he wants to explore the towns 7wonders to see if they have anything to do with the arrival of the monsters. Main char agrees, then their first stop is the Old Haunted Mansion. Pence says no one knows how long it’s been around and this huge gate prevents people from getting in. There’s a huge lock on the gate. Main char lifts his Keyblade and a light shines from it and he opens the lock. Pence is shocked at this. They go inside to explore. Once inside they are met with the person in the black coat only this one seems to be different. He speaks and Main char can tell he has a different voice then the last person he encountered. The man in the black coat asks if the main char is really fighting for what’s right by collecting the Lux. And if the Fortellers are really the ‘’good guys’’. Pence has no idea what is going on but he speaks up saying that he trusts the main char. Main char looks straight at the hooded figure and says that yes I am sure that collecting Lux is what we ought be doing. And the Fortellers are the right side to be fighting for. And that if you black coated people are against the Light then I’ll be forced to fight against you. This sparks a laugh from the hooded figure. Only if you knew the truth. Then he summons a keyblade and proceeds to fight the main char. Pence screams and runs out of the building to avoid being hit. Main char can barely keep up with the man’s attacks. Then a scream echoes out into the air. Main char notices that one of the man’s hands has been cut off. The one holding the keyblade. He hears a snicker and looks beside the man to see another black hooded figure holding a knife covered in blood. You! The first hooded man shouts. The one holding the knife speaks. Main char can tell by the voice that it’s the first hooded figure he encountered. You were going to kill the keyblade wielder. That would be treason. Then the man missing a hand says, Treason my ass. I know who you are and what you are. I won’t die here! I’ll pass on this information to the leader. Then the knife wielding person speaks, No you won’t. You’re going to die here and the reason for your death was treason. That will be the story. Now good bye and rot in the Realm of Darkness! Then he throws down the knife and summons his keyblade and stabs the other hooded man right through the heart. All the Main char can do is stare in shock. The man falls dead. Now the other hooded figure turns to Main char. Main char flinches and tenses his body for a fight. Don’t worry im not going to kill you. You know of the Tome right? Well im sure your Fortellers didn’t tell you the whole story. There’s a lot more written in it than the telling of the Darkness. Just go on collecting Lux and fight the darkness. And with that the figure opened a dark corridor and went inside. Pence peeked in to see if it was safe but Main char was already leaving the building. What happened in there? Pence asked the main char. Nothing you have to worry about. I’ll go report to Unicornoius, He has to hear about this. The main char says. Then he tells Pence that next time they can hang out longer. And with that Main char leaves for Daybreak Town. Once in Daybreak Town he finds other keyblade warriors such as himself fighting Heartless that have appeared in the middle of town. He helps them defeat the Heartless and they all collect Lux. A Foreteller walks up to them. It’s Unicornoius. Why have you returned so early? He asks the main char. The main char tells him everything that happened in Twilight Town. As he finishes his story Unicornoius takes a long look at the main char as if to decide if he’s telling the truth or not. Then he says for the main char to give him the Lux. The main char summons his keyblade and touches it with Unicornoius Keyblade and all the Lux the main char collected is transferred to Unicornoius. Then Unicornoius tells the main char to relax for the rest of the day and report to him tomorrow morning. The main char decides to head go hang out with his friends, other keyblade warriors. He finds them in the outskirts of Daybreak Town. What are you guys doing? He asks. One person speaks up and says, that their waiting for Lemuria to return but it’s been hours since she was supposed to come back. Main char asks where she went to. The same person replies that she was sent to the world Beasts Castle. Main char thanks his best friend and then asks why no one left to go after her. His friend says the Fortellers said not to. And any who dare to disobey orders will be given punishment. Why won’t they let us go save a friend? The Main char thought. Then the point of view changes to the young man in the black coat this time he’s in a white room with one other black hooded figure. The young man has his hood down. And he spoke to the other person. So you see I had to kill him or else he would have killed the Chosen Keyblade wielder. The hooded person spoke he had a deep voice, so he died in treason. I see. And our guest is soon to arrive. Just then a dark corridor opened and the Foreteller Ursus walked out. Heh what are you doing here #3. The young man said. Ursus spoke, I was ordered by the Leader to kill one of Unicornious Warriors. Then the young man said, Of course you would. Who was it? The young man asked. Lemuria, the hooded man said. He needed her dead as she was close to finding the truth of the Foretellers. He added. ‘’ And I have another thing to report. Unicornious is questioning our reason to not go find his pupil. He has been questioning where our true loyalties lie. Ursus said. The hooded man then said the young man, Number 13 lead the chosen key blade wielder away from his home world of Daybreak. He needs more Lux for us to achieve our goals. I got it. And tell our beloved leader why #11 is dead. We don’t want him knowing the truth. The young man chuckled. Then opened a dark corridor and went inside. Ursus spoke; we need to add #8 Shin to our plans. Otherwise we won’t have enough members to overthrow. Then the hooded man said, I agree with you, Xehanort. A slight grin formed on Ursus face. The main char is talking with others about what could be taking Lumaira so long. Then a black hooded figure appears in front of the main char. Wha! He cried out loud everyone around him jumped up. Hello. The hooded person said. It was the young man the main char met in Twilight Town. What you want. The main char said. You know this guy? A person said to the main char. I met him in Twilight Town. He’s not on our side I know that much. The main char said. Look, look I know your praobly all worried about Lumaira right? The young man said. The main char gulps, and then says, where is she and what happened to her. Oh she’s alright. Just come to Beasts Castle. She’ll be waiting for you there. Follow me. He says then opens up a dark corridor and walks inside. Damnit, the main char says then runs in after him. They come out into the Ball Room of Beasts Castle. On the middle of the floor lies a body covered in blood. Main char runs up to the body. He can tell its Lumaira. Then he snaps and turns around. The young hooded man began laughing. He kept trying to talk but he couldn’t with the laughing. Y-You killed her! The main char screamed. The young man wiped a tear from his face that was caused form the laughing. Yeah, I did it. You wanna kill me don’t you? Go ahead chosen keyblade warrior. But I could snap you like a twig. But the Leader wouldn’t be too happy with that. And we don’t have enough strength to kill him yet. He snaps his fingers and a bunch of Heartless appear. Go collect the Lux build it up to prevent the darkness from covering the world! I hate you so much! The main char shouted. You should share some of that hate with these Heartless. Kill them! The young man shouted and the Heartless rushed towards the main char. He summoned his keyblade

"Sor..." "Sora." ******************************************** CYCLE 1 "Sora!" "Huh..whu...?!" He sat up quickly, wiping the drool off his face and trying to look alert, the teacher glaring. "Try to stay awake for once, Mr. Konoha: I'd hate to see you flunk this term." She said, managing to look both sympathetic and also slightly bird-like in old fashioned pinc-nez glasses with a gold chain. "Yes, Mrs. Kettlewell." He muttered, defeated. Riku smirked, and Sora made a rude hand motion at him, making him snicker. Kairi was too busy doodling on her notebook to notice any of this, and sora poked her side to get her to pay attention: good artist or not, she wasn't getting anywhere if she flunked high school. After the droning class and pile of homework ("First 7 chapter's of Verne's Journey to The Center of The Earth BY TOMORROW, and an essay of the use of male and female roles and sterotypes portrayed in the novel by Monday"), sora gladly left school, dragging his heels through the dirt on his way home. Riku ran up to him, smacking his back. "Hey, dweeb. What's up with you falling asleep in class like a geek?" A good kick to the shins from a non-too-pleased Sora shut him up. "I'm not sleeping well, okay? Just shut up..." "Hey, fine.." Riku backed off, looking at him strangely. "Whatever, man." Kairi trailed her way lazily, never one to hurry. "Hi, boys." She said, knowing full well she was flirting her rear off. Riku grinned like a idiot, but sora didn't give her a passing glance, shouldering his backpack as he headed on. "I'll see you later, okay?" "Fine.. on TT later tonight, then?" "Yeah, sure." Riku gave a small wave, and caught up to Kairi, his lame excuse for flirting apparent even from that distance, as Sora headed home. He didn't sleep well..he'd been having weird dreams..weird thoughts lately.. They kept him up for hours, with visions of places he didn't know: a town under a huge ruined castle, a watery cave of old artifacts, a cold castle of dark stone and echoing roars.. nothing he knew. He sighed, and headed home.
  22. “Aqua never understood why Terra liked the game so much. She especially never understood why she was so bad at it.” Checkmate All was quiet in the library. As it well should be, Aqua thought to herself, for a non-quiet library is an abomination to the senses. Aqua sat at a rather large table lain out amidst the countless scores of book-shelves, a small tome in her hands and a glazed look in her eyes. Yes, again, all was quiet. As it well should be. “Aqua.” It was taking a lot of effort to ignore him nowadays, but she was getting good at it. “Aqua.” Maybe not good enough. “Aqua!” Aqua sighed. Listlessly, she turned her spectacled eyes to the side and spoke audibly. “Yes, what is it, Terra?” She asked, trying her best to sound annoyed. Aqua didn’t know much of what she expected in return from her famously stubborn companion. Another question, perhaps? Some kind of biting or sarcastic remark? Perhaps even, if she dared herself fortunate, a healthy round of witty banter? Instead, all she received was a loud thump as Terra’s crestfallen image fell before her on the table. He turned to look at her, his eyes lidded and lax. “I’m bored.” Oh dear. Now this simply wouldn’t do at all. Aqua’s expression shifted to one of odd disgust coupled with something almost akin to pity. Fortunately, she managed to compose herself, and after masking her change in demeanor with a brief sigh, Aqua quickly found her way back to her callous ways. Feigning apathy, Aqua turned her gaze back towards her book and replied, “You’re in a library, Terra. Read a book.” Terra made some kind of noise, a mix between a sigh and some kind of long drawn out grunt, as he stood prostrate once more. He reached his arms outwards, motioning to the numerous shelves of books that surrounded them. “Aqua, I’ve lived here my entire life!” He said quite loudly. “I’ve read all these books. Seriously, you think the master would update his collection after 20 years, but NO!” Terra slumped over in defeat, but still managed to keep his head high. Aqua was trying her best to look uninterested, even though it was getting exceedingly difficult. “Have you ever thought about, oh, I don’t know, re-reading them?” She said, still refusing to turn from her book that she stopped reading quite a while ago. Terra turned towards her, a look of disdain on his face. “Aqua, I’m not like you. I’m not crazy enough to read through foreign Keyblade War erotica 7 times and actually enjoy it.” He finished with a slight smile on his face. “H-hey!” Aqua said, an octave higher than before. In a single motion, she stood and turned towards Terra, her cheeks red and her eyes furious. “Now you listen to me! ‘Passions of the Star Fruit’ is an underrated masterpiece, infinitely better than that primordial drivel you fill your Neanderthal brain with!” Terra’s smile grew wider at her words, as he stood up straight. “So, your tastes are a little more sophisticated, huh? Perhaps even… hierarchical…?” Aqua’s heart and face both began to fall as she slowly came to realize what Terra was building towards. “No.” She said suddenly. Terra’s unbearably cocky grin grew even wider. “One game. That’s all I want!” Aqua’s stare turned deadly, as she hissed out her response, “Not. On your. LIFE.” Terra’s smile fell somewhat, but it was too late to dissuade him. He had his heart set on one thing now. The game of kings. “Chess.” He said. “One game, winner gets the library all to themselves, and all the quiet that comes with it.” Aqua covered her ears in defiance; she wouldn’t let his words poison her resolve. “No!” She exclaimed as she turned to run out the door. “Never! NEVER!!!” On her mad dash out of the library, Aqua could have sworn she saw Ven passing by, a look of utter confusion on his face. But she couldn’t afford to stop and explain. All she could do was hold out faith that one day he would understand. And that he would never play Chess with Terra so long as he lived. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Aqua was good at a lot of things. She was good at chores. She was good at magic. She was good at reading and writing, and she fancied herself a competent critic. She could make wonders in the kitchen, and the things she could do with a deck of cards would boggle the mind of even the most accomplished illusionists. Terra was good at none of those things. But it’s not like that mattered much, Terra never really wanted to be good at anything like that. All he ever wanted to do was fight, which is why Aqua never understood why he loved Chess so much. Aqua wasn’t good at Chess. It was actually kind of shocking, really. Chess is more a game about outwitting your opponent than just plowing through them, which is why she should be good at it. But no, for some unfathomable reason, Aqua was absolutely awful when it came to the so-called game of kings. Perhaps it was some kind of cosmic mishap that occurred as she was being put together within her mother’s womb, Aqua didn’t know. But all that mattered to her was that she was utterly helpless when playing on a chess board. Terra, on the other hand, was a natural. It made no sense, and to be honest, it was actually kind of scary sometimes. No one could beat him. Not Ven, not the Master, not even people from other worlds. And least of all, especially not Aqua. It infuriated her to no end, and Terra knew this. It was something that she would never be able to change, something besides fighting that Terra was better at than her! Every time Aqua would do something incredible, or reach some kind of milestone, it didn’t matter. Because no matter what she did, Terra was always better at Chess than her. And no amount of accomplishments would ever change that. Learned how to summon fairies? Terra’s still better at Chess. Finished writing a novel? Terra’s still better at Chess. Learned Mega-Flare? Terra’s still better at Chess. Defeated a time traveling abomination of nature? Actually, Terra did that too, so it doesn’t really count, but you get the idea. And so, here she was. Hiding in a storage closet like a frightened little girl, the very notion of a simple game striking fear into her soul. “Aqua.” Terra’s voice sounded from outside. Aqua stilled her breathing, trying to trick herself into thinking that made her harder to find. “Aqua, I know you’re in there.” His voice sounded once again, but she wasn’t listening. She still had her hands to her ears. “Aqua, the Master taught us how to sense each-other’s auras years ago. You know that hiding is pointless.” He said, his voice muffled by the wall between them. Of course, Aqua knew that. But that didn’t mean that she was ready to accept it. “Aqua, please. Just one game, and I promise I’ll leave you alone.” Aqua pouted. He said please. His voice resounded one last time. “Please.” She sighed. He said it again. Carefully, she moved to unlock the door to her little hidey-hole. It opened to reveal Terra standing at the entrance, looking a little sad, but still expecting an answer. Aqua looked at him, her face tinted with small hints of worry and reluctance. “One game, on one condition.” She said. Terra’s eyes lit up. “Anything.” Aqua’s eyes narrowed in response as she grabbed his throat and pulled him in close. “Never. Again.” ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Aqua begrudgingly took her seat at the table. Terra had already set up the game in the library, figures. He knew she would crack. Terra sat opposite Aqua, his cocky grin now out in full force. He rubbed his hands together excitedly as he gazed out over the chess board and said, “Alright, let’s get this show on the road.” Aqua rolled her eyes. The amount of joy he was taking in this was rather sickening. Terra looked over at Aqua, his smile turning into a sly grin. “Ladies first.” He said, as he motioned for her to proceed. Aqua scoffed. “How courteous of you.” She said. Aqua turned her attention back towards the board, and began to absentmindedly stroke her chin in deep thought. Don’t misunderstand; she hated the game, but if this was really going to be the last time she played with Terra, she wanted to give it everything she had. After a few pensive moments, Aqua moved one of her pieces forwards. She was hoping to lead Terra into a trap too obvious for him to see, so that she could claim some of his more important pieces. Aqua may have been bad at the game, but she knew Terra’s style. He would try to win with as many casualties as possible, just to add insult to injury. Terra’s sly grin returned as control shifted to his side. “My turn.” He said maliciously. In a single motion, he moved one of his pawns to f3, a first move that almost always set the flow of the game in the opponents favor. Aqua almost jumped. The move was mad, even for Terra’s standards. She turned to look at him, and practically yelled, “Are you crazy?” Terra’s only response was to sit back, confidently, with that ever-present grin still etched on his face. “Your move.” Aqua’s eyes narrowed. Okay, so that’s how he wants to play. What followed was too much for any single person to recall. In what can only be described as a flurry of Chess bound fury, Aqua and Terra exchanged move for move on a second by second basis. For every piece that Aqua lost, Terra would go out of his way to make sure he lost two in exchange. And yet, somehow, Aqua still found herself on the losing end of things at every step of the way. In a matter of moments, the game-board had been whittled down to a sparse few pieces, and any outside observer would have immediately called it a stalemate. But Aqua knew better, Terra would never allow for something so menial. It was always part of the plan But then, the tempo shifted. Terra stopped, and his eyes grew wide. He paused for several moments, as he surveyed the aftermath of his endurance match with Aqua. Stunned, he looked up and spoke clearly. “Wow, Aqua. You might actually win this time.” Aqua’s eyes widened in response, as she too looked down upon the game-board. Sure enough, Terra had been locked into a desperate position. With only a pawn and two rooks left in addition to the king, his case seemed hopeless. Aqua couldn’t believe it. She was almost too afraid to believe it. As the utter crushing weight of the situation finally began to dawn upon her, the corners of Aqua’s mouth began to contort into a demented and toothy grin. “You’re right.” She muttered. “You’re right!” She said again, almost trying to convince herself even further. She looked up at Terra, whose expression was slowly growing increasingly distressed. His eyes darted back and forth across the game board, his mind desperately trying to find an impossible solution to an impossible situation. And Aqua was loving every moment. So, this is what the legendary Terra looked like when he was desperate. Delicious. Terra had said nothing, and he honestly didn’t need to. His face belied his dying confidence, and the slow realization of just how dire the situation really was. It truly looked like he would fold at any moment. Now, all that remained was the final move. Relishing the moment, Aqua leaned over the table, her slightly disjointed expression filling Terra’s haggard vision. It was time for the final blow. “Terra.” She mockingly jabbed. “It’s your move.” And just when it seemed like the entire world was about to stand still, fate decided to intervene. Of course it did. It always did. “TERRA! AQUA!” The Master’s voice resounded from outside. Terra’s hypnotized gaze on the Chess board broke as he turned towards where the voice sounded. Aqua’s crooked smile disappeared as she also turned in sort, her face red with burning fury. “WHAT!?” Aqua snapped in frustration. She really didn’t care what the Master thought of her right now, she could apologize when she was lucid. If the Master was surprised at Aqua’s tone, he certainly didn’t sound like it. “I need your help! I think Ventus is trying to fly on his Keyblade!” Aqua sighed, venting her inner rage as she started to calm down. “Master, I’m sure that you can handle –“ “He’s about to jump off the main plaza!” Aqua and Terra immediately turned to meet each-other’s gaze, their expressions shifting to a sour mix of worry and a strange kind of look that said, “not again”. “VEN!!!” They yelled simultaneously, as the two proceeded to high-tail it out the library and towards the front of the castle. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Aqua sighed as she placed a gentle hand upon her forehead, trying to quell the headache her young friend’s antics had brought. For hindsight, she replayed what he said in her mind, something along the lines of “Don’t worry! If I can’t fly, I’ll just come back up and try again!” Aqua sighed once more, although she had to give Ven credit. He could certainly make a very compelling argument for jumping to his demise. However, now that he was firmly planted in the study hall with an intimidating round of physics lectures ahead of him, Aqua could finally get back to her game with Terra. Turning into the library, Aqua was hardly surprised to see Terra waiting for her, pensively looking over the Chess board once again. He had left the scene a little earlier than Aqua, since Ven specifically demanded that she stay and tell him how old she was when she learned how to fly the Keyblade (she was sixteen, by the way. She beat Terra by a year.) Aqua wasn’t worried about Terra being alone with the board, however; she knew that he would never cheat at a game that meant so much to him. Aqua let a cocky grin adorn her features as she moved to sit back down. “You can look all you want, Terra, but sooner or later you’ll have to face the facts.” She said, her cockiness reaching the levels of Terra in his prime. “The simple truth is, you’ve finally los-” “Ah!” Terra finally said, as he made a quick motion with his Rook, capturing Aqua’s king in a single, devastating motion. “Child’s play.” He said confidently, as he crossed his arms in victory. “Checkmate, Kiro.” Aqua froze. She didn’t hear that. He was lying. What, one final jab to try and crush her spirit? Pathetic, simple! You’ll have to try harder than that, Terra. She looked down. Her king was gone. It made sense. No, this wasn’t happening. It just wasn’t. Aqua simply REFUSES to let it happen. Oh no. No, no, no, no. It was happening. It was. And Aqua couldn’t change it. She couldn’t change anything. She felt like a little girl again. Helpless, frail. She hated feeling that way. How could he do this? How could he make her feel this way? No, this was her fault. She made her feel like this. It was her fault. It was all her fault. That was just about the breaking point. Aqua could handle a lot of things. She could handle Amnesia, just fine. She didn’t need a majority of that part of her life, anyhow. She could handle the possibility of never having a boyfriend, because hey, that just gave her more time for her books. She could even handle one of her only friends almost getting himself killed, though that was pushing it. But this? Losing to Terra in Chess, even one more time? She simply couldn’t take it. And to top it all off, he used her nickname. How dare he. Aqua’s right eyebrow began to twitch rapidly, as her eyes started darting back and forth. She began to swing her arms sporadically, as her mind slowly began to fade into unfathomable pain and rage. All Terra could do was look on in concern and slight confusion. “Uhm, Aqua?” Suddenly, she turned to look at him, and yelled out something quite unexpected. “Swong.” It didn’t make much sense, of course. And Aqua never really found out why she said it, but everyone seemed to agree that it fit the moment. In a single, jerky motion, Aqua lept from her chair and out of the library. She sprinted down the halls while continuing to swing her arms wildly, as she began to laugh like a maniac. Terra got out of his chair, and looked back at her as she gallivanted off. “Does this mean you’re not open to a rematch?” He yelled after her. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Aqua ran out of the Castle and through the main plaza, passing Ven and the Master on her way out. Needless to say, Eraqus was confused, and Ven was terrified. “Stay here, Ventus.” Eraqus said, as he began to follow Aqua, perplexed. Terra immediately followed out of the building, and quickly took notice of Ventus. “Ven!” He called out, as he stopped and knelt before him. “Hey, did Aqua happen to pass by here?” He asked. Ven’s only response was a confused, “Uhm…” Terra looked up in a start, as a large pillar of flame erupted from the sparring grounds. He looked back at Ven and said, “Thanks, Ven, I’ll be back in a bit. Trust me; this doesn’t happen as often as you’d think.” He patted Ven on the shoulder, and then proceeded to run off towards Aqua. Eraqus stood before the large tornado of fire that had appeared not too far ahead of him, completely at a loss. “Aqua?” He spoke out, “Are you alright?” In response, Aqua’s voice sounded from within the tornado. “OF COURSE I AM, MASTER! WHY WOULD YOU EVEN ASK SUCH A THING??? I JUST HAVE TO SHOOT A COUPLE THOUSAND FIREBALLS AT THESE STUPID FLOATING METAL RINGS!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!” Immediately following Aqua’s words, several balls of flame emerged from within the tornado and relentlessly struck the training equipment nearby. Fortunately, it was indestructible. It was then that Terra arrived on the scene. Stopping besides his master, he was forced to shield his eyes from the burning air and blinding light of Aqua’s fire. “She’s really going at it, huh?” Eraqus nodded in response. Terra turned towards the Master, and said, “Should we do anything?” Eraqus shook his head. “She… just needs some time.” He said. Terra looked back towards the giant pillar of flame burning before him, and the maniacal laughter that continued to sound within. Yeah, that was probably a good idea. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ It took Aqua a good half hour to burn herself out. Honestly, if she could have, she would have gone on for days. But fortunately enough for her companions, she had a finite magic pool. Now, she lay upon a large circle of scorched grass, staring up at the sky. Tinted orange by the setting sun, it probably helped contribute to her growing sense of peace. Terra’s face entered her vision. Well, it was nice while it lasted. He looked surprisingly relaxed, given what had just happened. But then again, so did Aqua. “Hey.” He said. Aqua’s expression remained placid. “Hey.” She replied. Terra sighed, as he took a seat beside her. “You scared the life out of Ven, you know.” Aqua stayed motionless. “Sorry. I’ll apologize to him when we get back to the castle.” Terra nodded. “You better.” A long moment of silence followed, as both sat calmly before the sunset. Suddenly, Terra broke the stagnant pause. “I cheated.” Aqua’s eyes widened, as she finally sat up. She turned to look at Terra, and asked incredulously, “What?” Terra sighed once more. He turned to look at her. “I cheated. I moved before we left… and again when we got back. We skipped your last turn, so you would have won.” Aqua’s stare was piercing, almost empty. Terra could tell that she was still processing what he said. Finally, she managed a smile. “Thank you, Ara.” With that, she stood, brushed herself off, and walked away. Terra turned to watch her leave, and blinked. It was rare for them to use each-other’s nicknames, but that was probably the last thing on his mind. “Thank you…?” He said, to no-one in particular. Still a little surprised, Terra turned away and sighed. For a while, he sat quietly, mewling over the day’s events. If nothing else, it certainly turned out a bit more exciting than he thought it would at first. Maybe that was good enough.
  23. ~Author's Notes~ Here's the reboot to my story. I rewrote quite a lot, but story is pretty much the same. I couldn't find my old post. Probably, erased it at some point. I've written 4 chapters so far, so those might go up early, but generally, I'll be updating every 15th and 30th of each month. Enjoy! (: Chapter 1: Bad Luck "I don't understand. My dad says all women look for is confidence. Where did I go wrong?" Jaune stood in his bathroom, ruffling around his blond hair, in front of the mirror, wondering what had happened through the first few days that could have led to this one possible outcome. He was sure he did everything right. All he needed was confidence, right? Wrong. Jaune was hideously in the wrong, but who was going to correct him? His sloth of a friend, Ren? No way, Ren was just as oblivious and thick headed as he was. Although Jaune and Ren's personalities were definitely not the same and in fact, completely and utterly different, they somehow got along just fine. Why? Because there was one obvious fact, one crucial detail that they both shared. They were guys and that was that. The two friends actually shared many traits with each other, such as inexperience and social awkwardness. But this had no importance to the black haired boy as much as it did to Jaune. He never thought of romance or love interests, but even if he did, Nora was already head over heels for him. There was no need to worry. Jaune on the other hand, well, he was a hopeless case. Applying his limited knowledge to his romantic issues, the blond's take on the problem was to try and woo every girl. Suffice to say, it didn’t happen that way. One is bound to say yes to me, he thought. He didn't take into account just how horrible he was at communicating to the opposite sex. The scraggly haired boy only found himself mistaken every step of the way. Doing some idiotic thing each time, somehow losing the trust of almost all the women he knew in his school, Beacon Academy, or at least the ones he cared about. In three days flat. Jaune walked out of the bathroom; his hair a mess, his eyes bloodshot, and his mind cluttered with useless thoughts. Even exiting the bathroom, there was trouble. He slipped on some leftover soap and water on the floor and slammed his right hand onto the wall. Ouch. He paced through the hallway very quickly, pocketing his minimally injured hand. The blond made sure to keep an eye out for any female that might want to kill him. And as soon as he made it to his dorm room, he quickly opened and locked the door, finding comfort in an empty room. "How do I fix this?" he shrieked in a girly voice, falling down on his bed. "Why does it have to be me?" he questioned, his words slightly muffled by the pillow. Before he could relax in his temporary tranquility, he heard the sound of the oak door opening. Thinking it might be Pyrrha, the last one he had angered, he jumped off his mattress cat-like and burrowed underneath his bed. The scraggly haired boy smacked his left arm on one of the legs trying to fit in. Not the most graceful person. The blond let out deep sighs uncontrollably, hearing the door come to a full close. Now he knew he had to be silent for sure, breathing fast short breaths to minimize volume. What came next all depended on how good he could handle the situation, and by that, he obviously planned to hide until the opportunity came for him to seek comfort once again in the safe haven of his own bed. The springs in one of the four mattresses in the room squeaked, very silently. After confirming that the one and only person that could have made the sound was his good friend, Ren, he came out. And once again, Jaune drew the short end of the stick. He was greeted by an angry redhead, sitting on the only other male's bed. Pyrrha sat there, cross legged and clearly waiting for Jaune to stand up straight. Her brows furrowed and hands crossed as if she was ready to scold an eight year old child. Jaune knew in this case, he was going to receive something worse than the said child. He did as expected and stood straight. "H-Hi Pyrrha!" he reluctantly let out, rubbing the back of his hair. "Jaune, I'm worried about you. Why did you run off like that?" she interrogated the boy as she also stood up to talk to him. The blond was caught off guard. Her tone sounded as if she cared about him, which was just as surprising as everything else that occurred earlier that week. The week he somehow made enemies with almost everyone of the opposite sex. The situation only made him more tensed, knowing that Pyrrha was directly inside his personal bubble. Standing only about a foot from him, she was in the make out range, not that Jaune believed it would ever happen like that. After a good ten seconds of staring at his beautiful roommate's eyes and a flood of thoughts clouding his judgment, Jaune began to breathe heavily once again. "H-Hold on…" Jaune began, struggling to say a sentence without breathing profusely, "...there!" he finished his sentence, right before falling back onto his bed. As luck would have it, Jaune had the worst one. Falling backwards, allowed his head to make contact with the hard book on his own bed and hurting him quite a bit...if he was conscious to feel it. The situation was too much for Jaune. He had fainted. The tall redhead picked up the book. Chemistry. "Jaune…" a girl with black hair and red tips gently nudged the blond. Jaune slowly came to as he saw another friend of his, Ruby. She was the first one to make some sort of effort to get to know him and he appreciated it quite a lot. She had an interesting sense of style...well everyone in Beacon Academy did. She wore a combination of dark colors with red and it somehow worked for her. "Jaune!" she repeated, this time shoving him, maybe a little too hard. The blond fell off the bed and onto the floor. Wasn't he just put into the nurse's office because he had bumped his head? "R-Ruby!" he yelled out in response to plummeting to the ground. Ruby ran around the bed, quickly realizing what she had done. She offered her hand, but the awkward lad slowly stood up, patting himself off. If anything looked worse than the fall he just experienced, it was him trying to play the situation off. "Pyrrha said you fainted," Ruby uttered, her eyes solemn. That was right. He went to the nurse because he was stuck in a very appealing situation. Too appealing for him, that was. "I-I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier. I blamed you for Weiss getting mad at me." Was she really apologizing to him? As far as he remembered, it was truly his fault why the white haired girl was angered by Ruby. Should he mention it? "Noooo…problem!" he hesitantly answered, changing his demeanor to a perkier one. "Thanks for visiting, Ruby!" "Of course!" she quickly responded to the sound of her name. "You were my first friend here at Beacon and it was just a big misunderstanding!" the black haired girl desperately continued, "Let me make it up to you!" Ruby looked at Jaune, embellishing her signature puppy dog eyes at him. Did she always know how to do such a thing, the blond had wondered. Regardless, he was reassured that he had gained one of his friends back and by how Pyrrha acted earlier, he was sure he would be forgiven with the right words and admitting to his wrongdoings. Things were looking up for the young boy. "S-Sure! But you really didn't do anything wron-" "Nonsense! I'm treating you to lunch! Let's go!" Ruby insisted, locking her arms with his and dragging him out of the office. "H-Hey! He shouldn't be up yet!" the front desk receptionist inquired. It was too late. Ruby had zoomed out with the boy to the front grounds of the school in a flash. She was pretty fast for a teenaged girl, like she had superpowers, but that could never be true. The red tipped girl led the way to the front of the school where they spotted the rest of Ruby's roommates. They stood in a group; Yang, Weiss and Blake. For some odd reason, whenever Ruby wasn't there, Weiss was much more calm and less ill tempered. Did Ruby really do something so bad to make Weiss's blood boil when she was around? And if she did, what did she do? Jaune prepared for the worse, even trying to break off of Ruby's strong hold on his arm. She was also so strong, what was with this girl? Jaune was always left befuddled when he dealt with these girls and walking to a trio that were all obviously mad at him, didn't make things any better. Ruby and Jaune continued towards their friends, stopping at the sound of Weiss's loud voice. She was apparently telling Yang and Blake quite the story and boy, did the two come right in time to hear the best part. "I-I-It's not like I like Jaune or anything," Weiss defended, rubbing her left elbow with her right hand. "But…" Weiss paused. Blake, who was currently reading a book as she half-listened to the group, looked up, noticing a strange silence uncommon in their ranks. Yang stood there, dazzled at all of Weiss's story, waiting for her to finish what she had assumed to be her last sentence. "But you like him," Yang finished for her, unable to contain anymore of her excitement. Ruby and Jaune stood near a tree, close enough to hear the rest of the conversation. After listening to the first part, Ruby decided to stop right then and there before they were spotted. She was also curious to hear what the white haired girl had to say. Weiss simply shook her head. "But you do…" Blake said in a hushed tone. After a while of denying, Weiss was eventually forced to nod her head instead, her face red. Ruby, knowing the context of the situation, also grew red. In fact, she might have been worse. Jaune stood next to her, not really understanding the full gravity of the situation. "Who does Weiss like?" Jaune obliviously asked. The black haired girl, currently locked arms with Jaune stared at the boy, their eyes converging with each other. Not knowing what to tell him, Ruby pulled him to Weiss and tapped her a couple times. The white haired princess turned around, greeted by a lovely surprise. "He. You. Date," Ruby said in the most caveman of way. "I go get milk now," she robotically finished, also walking away like a mechanized object.
  24. I was a bit bored, so I decided to write something based off the Vita game I've been playing, called Freedom Wars. Here you go. --- I am Silvia "Justice" Kuroi. I am a Sinner. My hand lifted off of the blue screen in my room, the screen that encompassed an entire wall of my room, known as the Window on Liberty. Past the several icons and menus that were still there, as the screen could detect my presence, I could see my face. Soft cheeks with a hint of rosiness to them, a small nose and thin lips for a girl, with sharp eyes and thin eyebrows. My pupils were fairly slit-like, with a grey color. Thin half-rim glasses sat over my eyes. My hair was black, with red highlights, and done in a pony-tail with swirly bangs cupping my face. My clothes, as the massive Window on Liberty, showed, was the simply Type-88 Military Gear. A green denim jacket with a red camisole underneath, with a thick black skirt, gloves, and high boots that went up to my thighs. The Window on Liberty was my access to much of the information given to me by my Panopticon (my home nation), with information such as special missions and even the current rankings of the different Panopticons around the world. My home, New York, was number five. I let out a sigh and glanced around my room. The best description for it was white. Glowing white tiles on the floor, a clean white bed, and grey-white walls that were relatively clean--a stark difference between the lower levels of the Cell Pavilion. It had the constant smell of concrete and disinfectant, which at times was enough to make me cough and sneeze. These levels were divided up by ranks, called CODEs. I was CODE Five out of Eight, meaning I was high on the social ladder. Eight was the highest possible rank, while One was the lowest. One meant you were nothing but scum, the worst kind of sinner. That was my life. I was a sinner from birth. Our world had so few precious resources left, and so anything and everything that was a drain on that was considered bad. Even people. We became sinners, punished for our drain on resources and sentenced to a penalty of a million years. The only way to prove our worth was to work the million years off. Even at CODE 5 I still have 941,757 years to go. You would even gain more years by breaking the billions of laws the Panopticons had set up to keep us in line. And they always knew if you did. Even in my personal room, my cell, I had two cameras watching me at all times. This didn't count my Accessory of course. Standing at attention in front of the only door stood a tall man with an absent and deadpan face. His eyes were a threatening red with tiny pupils. Plastered on his forehead was the black eye symbol of the overseer, the person who watched us all. My accessory wore a red beret with black spiky hair with red highlights--a matching choice I had made. My accessory wore the standard uniform for his kind--a tan trench coat with black boots and gloves. My accessory was not human. A cyborg built as the ultimate camera and guardian. He would safeguard me in combat (even as a drain on resources, the Panopticons considered sinners resources as well) and always keep a close eye on me. The Accessory noticed my gaze and spoke: "Your current sentence is 941,757 years. Please continue to contribute." That was part of my life as well. Contributing to the "Greater Good" in an effort to not only achieve freedom, but to retrieve resources for my home as well. The only way to do that was the special missions (which were called voluntary, but we all knew we were forced to do them) that contained these resources. "Hello Sinner!" Came a high voice from my Window on Liberty. I glanced in that direction to see Percy Propa, the cartoon bear that was the mascot of my home. "Your home thanks you for your continued contributions! But that nasty Agarthan Panopticon is still attacking us! Please do your part! For the Greater Good!" With that, he disappeared and I noticed a new mission had appeared on the Window: "Mission CT5-3 "Illumination." Each and every mission held a special code name, such as Carnage or Firefly. This one was called Illumination, where it was necessary to destroy a special Biped Abductor. I nodded and accepted the mission immediately. From here my Accessory would take me to the special flying craft to send me to my destination. I elected to bring some of my comrades along, Mattias, Uwe, and Beatrice. "Awe man," Mattias whined the moment he boarded the craft, "I was to stop by the Fueling Station too! This shaz is boring! Fight this abductor! Beat these sinners....man, I could go for a break!" "Shut your trap," Uwe snapped, "We have our mission and we have to do it. Don't forget that it's your home that is even letting you even visit the Warren. If the Hourai won we wouldn't have anywhere to eat that ice cream." "Uwe is right," I said, "We have to do this....for the Greater Good." "Yeah yeah yeah...doesn't make it any less boring," Mattias mumbled shaking is head and rubbing his hair. Beatrice, who up until now had been sitting quiet, spoke up, "Well, we can always stop by afterwards, Mattias. Besides, I need to see Julien anyways." Mattias shrugged. He was a fairly short boy with caramel-colored skin and bright red hair. He was feisty and likely the most brash out of all of us. Uwe was a large, broad-shouldered man with thick arms and dark skin. He was the oldest out of all of us, who had a lot more experience on the battlefield. Beatrice was smaller, with pale skin and golden hair. She was quiet, and a lot more empathetic than Mattias was. Each one of us had our own Accessory, which made for a team of six in total. My Accessory turned to me and quickly spoke, "We will be arriving shortly. Please prepare yourself." Accessories never spoke or acknowledged another Sinner unless approached directly. They only served to watch and aid a single Sinner only. "You here that, we're almost there. Saddle up." Uwe said, glancing at the other two. Beatrice and Mattias had a nervous edge to them. These higher CODE missions meant harder enemies and fights. We were in for something new. We all suddenly jerked to the right as the craft stopped and began to lower and settle. The massive doors slid open, letting the light and dust fly in. The sun was already setting, and through the opening, I could see where we were: a massive abandoned part of the city. We all piled out and watched as the craft lifted off. It would only return if we were to win this or lose. I pulled out my weapon--an EZ Schwarzfalke II. It was a light blade that acted as a chainsaw as well. My Accessory lifted up its bulky AAW-M2; a powerful rocket launcher. The others pulled out their respective weapons and we ran through the dilapidated ruins. Years and years ago some great war was held, and much of the world was turned to ruin. Sections like these were littered about New York. Nothing but dust and echoes, with crushed structures and the barely standing skeletons of buildings from long ago. "We've got Sinners!" Uwe shouted, hefting his launcher and firing off a round. The Agarthan sinners, decked in matching black sinners, seemed to come right out of the ruined woodwork as they quickly swarmed us. "Bug off!" Mattias hollered, gunning the sinners down as we all heard the worst kind of sound when you were in battle: The guttural scream of an Abductor. We could see it down the road. A towering, skeletal beast. Every step it took made the ground shake. They were terrifying monsters whose sole purpose was to capture resources and decimate everything else. This one was bipedal, which meant it had a fairly humanoid frame. Worse though was that it was Cold-Resistant--its body had a blue tiny and shiny blue crystals covered its body. "Silvia!" Beatrice told me, "Let us go distract the Abductor!" "We will stay here!" Uwe added to that, "Both of you go!" I nodded to him and Beatrice and I legged it to the Abductor. The monster seemed to notice our approach and it lifted its metallic head. We heard the charging of a beam, and the two of us expertly dove to the side as the ground exploded. This was the worst kind of Abductor. The ones capable of firing beams from their heads. While Beatrice and I were capable of dodging the explosion, her accessory wasn't so lucky. The beam hit it head on and went flying backwards. "Keep going!" I shouted at Beatrice. We couldn't afford the moment to go and retrieve the Accessory. They were durable enough, and going back only meant time for the Abductor to fire off another attack. "Abductor in sight. Engaging Combat Protocol. Request cooperation in Abductor destruction." My Accessory told me, halting its own progress to fire off a round from its rocket launcher. The slug hit the Abductor head on and gave me time to point out my Thorn. All Sinners were equipped with thorns. These prickly weapons were like grappling hooks and had the main purpose of allowing us to get up close and personal with these giant bastards. My arm jerked as the white thorn shot out and hit the junction between the Abductor's shoulder and its right arm. I pulled hard, launching my body up and into the air as the distance closed rapidly between us. My body stopped hard as I was now clinging to the Abductor itself. Now came the hard part. Taking it down. I quickly brought my blade around and brought it crashing down upon the junction. The chainsaw whirred to life as I began to tear through armor and bone. This was one of the many tactics in taking down these things: tearing them down bit by bit until there was nothing left. I had made it barely a portion of the way when the abductor swung its other arm and hit Beatrice dead on. She screamed, her body flying into the side of a building. I didn't see her get up, and I knew she was done for. Her Accessory was only now making its way to us, which meant there wouldn't be time to get her unless I stopped my progress. I hopped off of the Abductor and ran over to where I had seen Beatrice go--when I heard that dreaded sound of a beam being charged. The explosion caught my back, sending me flying a few feet. I toppled and tumbled over, struggling to get back up. "Damn," I hissed, finally halting. I could barely get up, which meant my own Accessory would have to help. I saw him halt his firing and switch to recovery as he ran over to me, but like how I was taken down, the Abductor fired off a beam and my Accessory was downed as well. "Critical damage sustained....emergency shutdown enacted...requesting recovery.." My Accessory said, its body essentially lifeless (although there was barely any life to begin with). Shit. Half of our squad was essentially taken out, and I didn't know if Uwe or Mattias had managed to reach us yet. At least, until I heard Uwe's gruff voice. "Don't worry girl, I got yah." He told me, lifting me back up and restoring my energy with a medic pack. "We took those idiots down and saw you were in trouble! Mattias the Leo is here to help!" Mattias shouted, bearing his gun down on the Abductor and letting loose with a volley of bullets. "I will go help Beatrice," Uwe told me, "Destroy that Abductor. On the double, Sinner." I nodded and rolled over to my Accessory's side. It gave me a blank look as I jumped it back to life with a resuscitation device. The Accessory stood back up and hefted its weapon without so much as a thank you. "Functions restored. Engaging enemy." It said, turning back to the Abductor and resuming where it had left off. The Abductor let out a scream as it saw all of us. I gritted my teeth and pointed my Thorn, letting it shoot out and connect with the junction again. I flew for it, landing with a painful crash as I pulled out my blade again. The saw bore down and cut through with even more force. The Abductor seemed more distracted by Mattias and the two Accessories, as it attempted to barge through them. Even as it ran, I hung on tight and cut through the bone. I was done with the armor and was practically done with the entire arm as well. I heard a rocket go off, and watched as one my Accessory's slug hit the arm I was cutting. The arm snapped and fell off--with me along with it. I landed on the ground with an "Oof!" and rolled over. That was one arm down, which for a bipedal Abductor was a crippling thing and a serious advantage for us. Fewer parts meant fewer things the monster could do. "Booyah!" Mattias cackled, "This thing is toast!" "Silvia!" Beatrice shouted as she ran up to me, rolling around the Abductor, "Everything alright?" "Yeah," I told her with a nod, "I'll be fine." "Here." She said to me, charging her thorn up and letting it lash out and cling on to me. I felt more of my energy come back to me, and I thanked her with a smile and another nod. There were three thorn types, one of which was the healing thorn--which Beatrice used to a special mastery. Just by lashing it out could I feel my strength returning. "Thank you," I said, before dashing off. The Abductor was still a great threat to us, and its destruction would entail the completion of our mission. I readied my thorn, my eyes studying the monster. The other arm was a good target, as it could still slam that down, but my eyes went right for its head. Even without it the Abductor would still be able to move and be a very great threat, but the removal of that part would mean an even greater advantage for us. I prepared for the right moment, waiting for when the Abductor was at the right angle, and then suddenly shot my thorn outward. I cursed as it missed. Damn! The Abductor had suddenly started to storm forward, and my thorn went whizzing right past it. I was about to fire the thorn off again, but at that moment, I was suddenly hit by a barrage of bullets. More Agarthan Sinners had appeared, and they weren't happy that we took down the first wave and had been taking down their Abductor. "Hostile Sinners detected!" My Accessory announced, "Engaging enemies!" I swivelled towards them and brought out my rifle--an EZ Katze Kralle I. I squeezed the trigger and returned fire upon the Sinners. "Allow me to help!" Beatrice said, pulling out her own gun and aiding my counter assault. The Sinners didn't pose much of a match for us, though it appeared that they were a decent distraction--without Beatrice and my own assistance, Mattias and Uwe had been struggling to deal with the Abductor. "Oh no!" Beatrice shouted, running after them with her Thorn at ready, "You guys, here!" She then exclaimed the moment her Thorn was charged up enough. From the ground spotting a massive black and green thicket, with radiated with a powerful green glow. I ran forward to get close it, and when I was close enough I immediately felt the effects of the healing thicket. I pointed the barrel of my gun out and let loose a hail of bullets on the Abductor. It turned to me, seeing my own self as an enormous threat, and it readied a laser from its head. "Got you!" I exclaimed, immediately pointing my thorn and letting it fly forth and stick to the Abductor's neck. I launched into the air and slammed right onto the Abductor's torso. "Finish it off!" Uwe announced as he shot at the Abductor and managed to distract it for the time being while I scrabbled up to the monster's neck and bore my saw down upon it. While much of the Abductor was bone and grey armor, its 'nerves' were thick pulsing orange veins that ran all throughout its body. I tore through these, slicing through the nerves with ease as my allies distracted the monster. I grinned as the Abductor suddenly jerked and wobbled as I sliced the entire head clean off. That was one major nuisance done for. "And another one bites the dust!" Mattias shouted, aiming hard and assaulting the Abductor's core: its pod, which was often used for holding onto important resources...often times other people and Accessories. The pod began to crack, and soon enough the whole pod exploded open. Uwe let out a cry of victory as my three allies finished the Abductor off. It began to stand up, and I quickly hopped off before it decided I was another danger. But even then, the Abductor lasted barely any longer as its knees buckled and it finally fell backwards. It landed with an astounding crash; dust and dirt flying everywhere as the Abductor let out an unsettling scream of torture as it 'died'. "Mission complete," My Accessory said, lowering its launcher, "Contacting support craft. Contributions have been logged." "Nice job," Uwe told all of us, "Quite proud of you all," "Yeah yeah, thanks old man," Mattias told him, "Nothing but another string of successes from yours truly!" "You better shut your face before I do something even worse than a 20-year penalty to you, kid," Uwe told him off, crossing his arms. I could only shake my head. "Well done," Beatrice said, "That was...quite intense." "And it'll only get worse," I replied, "We still have three CODE ranks to go." "CODE Eight....man.." Mattias murmured, "That's gonna be hell, for sure." "Yes," I said with a nod, "But we have to reach for it. For the Greater Good."
  25. Hey guys, so I came up with this story the other day and I wrote Chapter 1 so far. Please leave a comment if you liked this chapter or not. Enjoy! This idea originally came from HMK and Skyward wing from this video, so don't tell anyone that I came up with it. Chapter 1-Preparation Spero was finally ready with his studying on the Second Keyblade War. “Just a few more weeks and I’ll finally get to do my Mark of Mastery Exam. I’ll be just like Dad.” Spero was a 16 year old boy with brown hair and very bright blue eyes. Ever since he saw his father’s mighty weapon, known none other than the Keyblade, he was inspired to be just like him; helping others, slaying monsters and look awesome with armor. He has been training under the great Master Aqua for almost seven years and he’s been waiting for this exam for his entire life. His father specifically chose her as his Master to train him, saying that she is full of hope, courage and sacrifice. He had such great friends, his best friend being Amare, who happened to be the daughter of Master Aqua. Amare had blue hair and blue eyes, but what she liked about her most was her smile. She was a very resourceful and helpful girl, much like her mother, but she was strong and a bit impatient, very similar to her father. She was very inspiring and looked up to her parents, both who fought in the second Keyblade War with Spero’s Dad against Master Xehanort and his organization. “You’d think that studying a great war that my Mum and Dad took part in would be easy,” said Spero as he was getting ready for bed. “I mean they literally fought thousands of Heartless and Nobodies!” Suddenly, Spero saw his bedroom windows fly open and watched Amare fly into his room landing with a roll. He was very happy, yet frightened to see her. “You forgot the Unversed, genius,” said Amare with a small chuckle afterwards. “Amare, what are you doing here and why did you just fly into my room, when you could have just….” He suddenly realized without finishing his question that Amare was wearing a Master’s armor, without the helmet. “Where did you get that armor? I thought Master Aqua, sorry, your mum said that we could only get armor until we passed the exam.” This?” said Amare, “I, uh, borrowed it!” “You mean you stole it?” “Ok fine. I found this hidden in your castle. Turns out it’s my mum’s old armor.” “How did you get it though? There’re guards all around the place!” “I know you’re Dad’s King of Radiant Garden, but he’s gotta hire better guards. I simply used my sleep spell on them.” “I’m glad I have you as a friend Amare,” said Spiro. “We’d make the perfect team.” Amare raised her eyebrow and asked, “Why’s your face all red?” Spiro was confused. He didn’t know what to say, he wasn’t just going to tell her right there and then. “I, um, wasn’t feeling good recently. I’ve been getting a lot of headaches.” Amare then smiled and said, “Well, you better get well soon Prince Spiro” He really got annoyed when anyone called him that. Amare started walking towards the window and before she jumped out she said, “By the way, if you’re gonna try and trick people, you’re gonna have to do better than that.” As she jumped out, she started laughing. “So much for keeping secrets,” said Spiro as he got into bed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “Tell me what you saw again,” said the commander of the army Riku. “I’m telling you! I saw him!” replied the second in command Lea. “I was scouting the woods when I thought I saw Sora with a black coat on, but as soon as he saw me, he ran away! I chased after him and when I finally got a good glimpse, I realized that it wasn’t Sora. He had black hair and golden eyes. It must have been Vanitas!” “Last we saw him,” replied Riku “was at the Keyblade Graveyard with the rest of the seekers of darkness. He ran away with a few others after Sora defeated Xehanort. After all these years he’s finally come back. Do you think he’s up to something?” “I don’t know,” answered Lea “But there must be something going on. Should we tell Sora?” “Not now. He’ll get over protective of his son. You got it memorized Lea?” “Hey, that’s my line!” Here's the link to chapter 2:http://kh13.com/forum/topic/72294-kingdom-hearts-iv-the-extreme-purifier-chapter-2/
