  1. So, as the thread title would suggest, this a short poem of mine. The inspiration for this is something that happened not too long ago. At least one person is sure to get it, and one other person might get it. The rest of you feel free to guess. Two travelers wander a labyrinth, wander of their own free will. A maze of many twists, and of many turns, A labyrinth whose twists and turns always lead back to the beginning. A maze made of anger and despair, A labyrinth of worry and frustration, All centered around one, and only one. The travelers are both troubled, in their own way, They are both worried, also in their own way, And their worry, and their frustration converge on that one, that single one. So the two continue in their walk, looking for a way to get to that one, But a way they do not find, no matter how long they look. They despair, but they press onward, knowing it is only a matter of time. Once more they go around the maze, when suddenly, a way appears. This way a simple one, and the only. They both know the way, and rejoice it is now open, They both go, go into the hole leading to that one, that only one. And that one's words are those which relieves the two. And that relief causes the labyrinth to fall around them, crumbling until nothing is left. And then those two, now three travelers, wander around the maze of life, which does have an exit. And that's it! I... have no idea if it is really a poem, per say, but that's what I'm going with!
  2. Hello everyone! I've decided to take my chances and get some feedback on my Star Wars story that I've rarely let out of the confines of my Documents folder. ^^; It can also be found on Fanfiction.net if you look hard enough though! This story takes place years after Return of the Jedi. None of the characters you'll see are exactly mine...but the ideas are unique in what I'm planning to do...at least I hope they are! I've plucked the characters from the Expanded Universe and am putting them to good use. So enjoy! *************************************** Jedi are the guardians of peace in the galaxy. Jedi use their powers to defend and to protect. Jedi respect all life, in any form. Jedi serve others rather than ruling over them, for the good of the galaxy. Jedi seek to improve themselves through knowledge and training. - The Jedi Code as taught by Grand Master Luke Skywalker Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. The Force shall free me. - The Sith Code as taught by Darth Bane “I can’t leave you here I’ve got to save you!” “You already have Luke. You were right about me, tell your sister you were right.” - Luke Skywalker and the redeemed Anakin Skywalker ___________________________ A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…. Star Wars The Rise of Darth Krayt Since the defeat of the Empire and the forging of a New Republic, Luke Skywalker has established himself as the Grand Master of the New Jedi Order. A Jedi Praxeum (Jedi academy) has been built on Yavin IV, and Jedi Headquarters have stood on Coruscant along with the New Republic capitol for years. In these peaceful times, the Jedi have been allowed to thrive. But Grand Master Luke’s senses have not been dulled by this peace. He has made sure to keep the younglings and Jedi council on their toes. Luke Skywalker has become a doomsayer among the members of the New Republic and some of the Jedi Council, but as the citizens of the galaxy have grown far too comfortable in these peaceful days, a new threat far more powerful than any they have encountered before is about to make its presence known... Prologue: Luke sat on a cushion in his chambers on Coruscant, meditating; he was frustrated at the Senate for not believing him about his what they called “feelings of impending doom”. That was when he heard an all too familiar voice calling him, he had already sensed the presence before, but hadn’t in a long time. This time it sounded distant and strained, as if the speaker was talking through a cheap comlink that needed repairs. “Ben? I can barely hear-“ That was when Luke opened his eyes, as saw the ghost of Ben Kenobi standing in front of him. He appeared as he had first appeared to him on Hoth, a fading image, not clear as he was on Dagobah or Endor. “Ben, what’s happened? Why haven’t I heard from you in so long?” Obi-Wan smiled sadly, “I’m sorry Luke. It’s been hard to communicate with you. I’m afraid this is going to be the last time we’ll see each other for quite some time.” “You mean, you’re going to completely become one with the force?” Luke asked quietly. “I do my friend, I just wanted to tell you a few things before I go. I wanted to tell you that I am so proud of how far you’ve come; you’ve done more than enough to ensure the future of the jedi and the republic in the galaxy. But I know there is that growing evil on your mind, I’ve sensed it too, as have Master Yoda and your father, who will both still be around to guide you. Speaking of which here they are to bid me farewell.” Ben turned, fading still, and saw the ghostly images of Anakin Skywalker and Master Yoda, who no longer needed a cane. “Time it is already?” Yoda said with wide eyes. “We’re going to miss you my friend. We’ll follow you eventually.” Anakin said Yoda nodded, “Council Master Skywalker will we. Until time for us to depart as well, it is.” Anakin smiled, “Although he hardly needs it seeing as how well he’s been doing. But take it from me son, every Jedi needs good advice and council at least every once in awhile.” “Thanks everyone, especially to you Ben, for putting me on this path. Thank you for everything.” Luke said wiping away a small tear. Obi-Wan Kenobi smiled kindly, “You have my thanks as well. I’m more grateful to you than I think you know. Always remember, the force will be with you, always.” At that point a blinding white light shone from Kenobi’s body, it enveloped the room, and just like that it and Obi-Wan Kenobi, the man who set Luke Skywalker on the path of the Jedi and the force so long ago, was gone. Luke walked over to the balcony overlooking the city and leaned on the banister. “I guess now I truly am alone now that Ben’s gone and everyone but impressionable younglings think I’m some sort of gloomy gus since the Empire is gone, no offense you two.” His father and the small pointy eared Yoda came to either side of him, “Never alone you are, know we cannot take Obi-Wan’s place as your mentor and friend do we. But there we are if need us do you.” Luke looked up from Yoda to his deceased father’s face, who nodded to him. “I agree with Master Yoda, we do not intend to take Master Kenobi’s place in your heart. But we will always be here until it is time for us to join him in the force. We will provide you with as much guidance and support as we possibly can my son.” “Thank you both, but I still can’t shake the feeling that there is something terrible just waiting for a chance to reveal itself. Heh, maybe I’m getting paranoid and peace doesn’t suit me.” “Right you are to feel this way Luke, foolish is he whose senses become dulled in peaceful times.” “Ours were dulled to a threat right in front of us during a time of war.” Anakin mentioned sadly, referring to Palpatine’s treachery during The Clone Wars. “So what do you both think? “ Luke asked as he gazed at the city lights of Coruscant. “Oh we’ve sensed it too, so did Obi-Wan. Though it is clouded, the threat is definitely there but none of us, even you, can see past this….this..” Anakin tried to find the right words. “Veil, that’s how I described it to the senate, that its almost like there’s a veil covering the threat and when I try to reach out with the force the veil gets thicker and foggier, almost as if someone is purposely preventing me from seeing something. Yoda grunted in agreement, “Using the force to cloud our vision, someone most certainly is.” (End Prologue)
  3. DISCLAIMER: The author of this article knows nothing about the overall story of Dragonball Z, just the names of major characters and the concept of the Dragonballs. 4. Hi guys, it's time I finally put this out, for the past two days, I've been writing a folio piece for my English class. It's taken me about 3 hours to write, so I hope you guys enjoy it. This is the story of how I found football... The biggest sport in the world, the beautiful game and the game of nations, all associated with the legendary game we know as football. Football has been a part of my life for a long time, it has been there for me, it has delighted me however it has also saddened me too. I had once thought of football as nothing but a game of chance, like a game of cat and mouse but through the years, these thoughts have slowly diminished, with new feelings taking their place. When I was younger, I was told to support Rangers FC, I had no choice in the matter as all of my immediate family were all supporters of Rangers. I never took anything to do with football, it was never a part of my life. This was until March of 2005 when my dad had found a pair of tickets to a Rangers FC V Heart of Midlothian game at Tynecastle Stadium. My initial feelings had wondered why he bought these tickets. He told me that he had enough of my anti-social lifestyle and that I was ruining my life. That I needed a hobby that didn't involve a T.V. Again, I had no choice whether or not I could go. I was very anxious about my trip to Tynecastle, I never knew what to expect but what I was greeted with was astounding. Thousands upon thousands of fans, chanting and cheering, the atmosphere was electric. Upon entering the stands of the stadium, I was welcomed by a cold breeze and a sight like no other, a stadium packed full of fans from all over Scotland coming to support these two teams for what turned out to be a fantastic yet controversial game which ended in a 2-1 win to Rangers. This was a day that changed my life for the better, showing me that football had meaning, had a reason, that it wasn't just a game of chance or cat and mouse, but that it was a game of passion. After this match, it turned into a major turning point in my life that affected me physically, emotionally and psychologically. I started to play football, which led to many great things as ridding of my anti-social lifestyle and gaining me friends that I had never once had due to my anti-social lifestyle. When I started playing football, I had very versatile roles sprawling over all areas of the pitch. I wasn't very good when I started so I was always told to go as a goalkeeper so as I wasn't to get in the way of things, it upset me at first, thinking I was just plain useless and terrible but now looking back, as a goalkeeper in the present day, I couldn't be more grateful of their decision to put me in goals. I had been to 4 or 5 football matches for Rangers but none had the kind of stature that the Old Firm derby held. Ever since the first game I attended in 2005 at Tynecastle Stadium, I had always dreamed of going to an Old Firm derby, often regarded as one of the greatest derbies in football history, Rangers V Celtic. My chance had finally come in October of 2007 when I was given tickets to an Old Firm derby. When I was given these tickets, my eyes flooded with tears of joy. Upon arriving at Ibrox Park, I could sense the tension writhing among the two sets of fans. My dad had always told me of the animosity and emotion that this derby held, that there were riots and fights entangled in the midst of all the tension. Upon entering the stands, a sea of symphonic chants echoed in my ear as both sets of fans battled against each other for supremacy, my heart was racing and my head was buzzing with anticipation in the hope for a great game that I would never forget which it turned out to be when Rangers cruised to a 3-0 smashing of Celtic. The game left me overjoyed and satisfied. I still regard it as the best birthday present I've ever had. However. I haven't always supported Rangers as in 2009 I started supporting the great Manchester United. When I started supporting Man. United, I was given the stereotypical name of a "Glory Hunter," a fan who goes for teams who do nothing but win. I had never went to a Man. United game for a very long time due to financial constraints until January of 2013 when I was astonished by a surprising gesture when my family bought me tickets to an F.A Cup match between Man. United and Fulham. The journey was tiring and costly, but it was well worth it when my eyes were gifted with the sight of tens of thousands of fans moving around the streets outside of The Theater of Dreams, Old Trafford. When I went into the stands, I was on the top tier of the Sir Matt Busby Way or The East Stand. Despite it only being a cup match, the atmosphere was just as good as the Old Firm derby. The match was exciting as Man. United bet Fulham to an easy 4-1 win. The trip took 8 hours in total by driving up and down from Scotland to England and back again which left me knackered in the morning but happy that I finally got the opportunity after 4 long years of wait. Over the past nine years, I have accepted football into my life and it has welcomed me with open arms into it's fold. I now don't think of football as a game of chance, I think of it as a game of life or death. This is how I found football... I hoped you enjoyed
  5. There were six people gathered around the table. Five of them, Lea, her husband Demyx, MasterXemnas, Weedanort, and Aaron, were waiting to hear what the sixth was going to say. The sixth, a lawyer by the name of Nortanort, spoke out, "As the executor of Mr. Chiuchiarelli's estate, I have been empowered to read Mr. Chiuchiarelli's last will and testament.""Well get on with it! The bar's open soon," Weedanort drunkenly exclaimed.Lea sobbed out, "Oh poor dear Daniel," and sobbed even more.Demyx tried to console her with, "Oh, there there, Lea," but it didn't really work as she was still sobbing."How predictably boring," MasterXemnas said."I never worked for a kinder man," said Aaron."If we all seated, I shall start the reading," Nortanort said, even though he knew everyone was seated. Weedanort chuckled for reasons only his drunken mind would understand."I, Daniel Chiuchiarelli, being of sound mind and body," Nortanort started to read out, but was interrupted by Weedanort."Ha, that's a laugh." said he, laughing."Do here by divide up my considerable estate as follows: To my overly emotional sister, Lea."Here Lea cut in, with an extra loud sob. "Lea, darling, he's talking about us," Demyx said, trying, once more, to comfort her."Oh," said Lea, immediately stopping her sobbing.Nortanort resumed, "Who grubbed with her husband Demyx, grubbed for everything they could get from me, and cried crocodile tears when they needed sympathy."Lea made a confused sound, then listened to what she would get"To Lea, I leave: A boot to the head," Nortanort continued, pointing at Lea."What?" Lea asked, just before a boot appeared out of nowhere, and hit her in the head. "Ow," She exclaimed in pain."Lea, are you ok?" Demyx asked, concerned."And another boot to her wimpy husband Demyx!" Nortanort added, pointing at Demyx. He was having a bit too much fun watching people get hit in the head with a boot."Ow!" Demyx exclaimed. Weedanort laughed at his pain."This is an outrage!" said Lea, sounding angry."But still," continued Nortanort, "You are still my sister. You have both admired my Rolls Royce, and since I no longer need it.""Oh dear Daniel!" Lea said, anticipating a new car. This, to her, cleared up the effrontery of being hit in the head with a boot."I bequeath: Another boot to the head!" Nortanort added, still sounding happy."What?" Lea asked, just before being hit in the head again, with an ow right after it.Weedanort laughed again, clearly enjoying their pain."And one more for the wimp," Nortanort continued. As Demyx was hit in the head, he wondered just how much longer this was going to last, then went ow."Next, to my alcoholic brother, Weedanort," Nortanort started."Hey, I don't want no boot to the head!" interrupted Weedanort.Nortanort resumed, "To dear Weedanort, who has never worked a day in his drunken life.""I'm covering up my head," said Weedanort, doing so, with the mug he had been holding the whole time."I leave my wine cellar, and three crates of my finest whiskey," Nortanort continued."Really?" asked Weedanort, thinking it was too good to be true."And a boot to the head," Nortanort resumed, as one was promptly delivered to Weedanort. "And another for Lea and the wimp!" he added, then watched as the boots flew through the air. "Next, to my know-it-all nephew MasterXemnas," he started to say.MasterXemnas cut in, "This is so predictable.""A boot to the head," Nortanort finished, then watched the boot hit him with no small degree of smugness."I knew it," MasterXemnas said, after getting up from the impact of the boot.Nortanort added, after MasterXemnas had gotten up, "And one for Lea and the wimp," then watched the boots hit their intended targets. "This takes care of family obligations," said Nortanort, still reading from the will, "And now to Mister Aaron.""Oh, I don't want nothing, heh," Aaron nervously said, expecting the worst."Who took care of me faithfully these many, many, years, who cared, made me laugh, brought me tea," Nortanort continued, before another interruption."Oh, I didn't mind," Aaron said, feeling relieved."To Mister Aaron, I bequeath: A boot to the head," Nortanort said. The boot hit Aaron, who was taken aback from the impact of it."And one for Lea and the wimp," Nortanort added, smiling as he heard their exclamations of pain. They couldn't be seen anymore, as they had decided it was safer on the floor."And to my cat Shana, I leave," Nortanort continued, sounding as if he was almost done, "my entire, vast... boot to the head." Nothing was seen, but they could all hear the sound of a large thunk, and the cat screaming. Fortunately the cat was ok, but it didn't appreciate being hit by a boot."And finally, to my lawyer who has helped me with this will, I leave, not a boot to the head, but a rabid... Tasmanian... Devil.. to be placed in his trousers?!" exclaimed Nortanort, shortly before it was done. Through his gasps of pain, Nortanort continued, "And I leave my entire estate of ten million dollars to the people of KHInsider so they can afford to go somewhere decent!" Nortanort finished, having finally extracted the rabid Tasmanian Devil from his trousers."That's it?!" exclaimed the rest of the people around the table, with a "That's disgraceful" from Weedanort. Even Lea, and Demyx were shocked, after they finally got up."One last thing for everyone," Nortanort said, sounding scared at the prospect of what would come next."Cover your heads everybody," Weedanort said, figuring what would come next."I leave everyone a lifetime supply of ice cream," Nortanort said, being happy it wasn't a boot to the head."Ice cream? That's all?" was the question everyone was asking, expect from Aaron. He asked, tentatively, "Well... what flavor is it?""Boot to the head!" Nortanort finished off, finally. He started to laugh as the boots flew through the air, even if he was hit by one or two.

  8. It was just a normal day in Nibelheim when the incident occurred. It all started when Cloud decided to show his pet marmoset, which he had won in a duel with Gilgamesh, to his roommate, Sephiroth. Gilgamesh had never explained why he offered a marmoset as a prize, but Cloud didn’t care, as he had always wanted a pet marmoset. Cloud ran through the town, yelling, “Hey Sephy! Come check out my new pet!” Sephiroth, however, was busy experimenting with soup recipes. His mother had given him the task of recreating the recipe for Black Materia Soup, a recipe which had been lost to time. When Sephiroth heard Cloud, he replied, “Cloud, you numbskull! I’m busy with my soup experiments for Mother! I need to have them finished before she returns from Mt. Nibel! Can’t it wait?” “Wait? Of course it can’t wait! I need to show you this!” shouted Cloud from outside their house, feeling slightly angry at Sephiroth. “I mean seriously, what is it with this guy and his mother? It’s like a weird obsession.” he thought to himself. “I said, I’m busy!” shouted Sephiroth from the kitchen. “Right! That’s it! I’m coming in!” Cloud exclaimed. Sephiroth muttered to himself, “Doesn’t he know that when I’m busy, I shouldn’t be interrupted? I know he looks up to me, and wants to impress me, but still.” His mumblings were promptly interrupted by a cry from outside of, “Sephy, help!” Upon hearing that, Sephiroth ran outside, knocking over one of his previous soup experiments, Fire Materia Chilli, without noticing. Once outside, he saw Cloud lying on the ground, not far from the door. He also saw a skateboard, upside down, with the wheels spinning. “Can you tell me what happened?” he asked. “Of course.” Cloud groaned, clutching his knee in pain, “You see, it seems that someone left a skateboard outside our door. As I was running up to the house, I didn’t notice it. I suspect Zack left it there, but I may be wrong. Anyway, I tripped over the skateboard, and injured my knee. I think it’s broken. Would you mind taking me to the hospital?” “Your stupidity astounds me at times, Cloud.” Sephiroth exclaimed, after hearing the story, “It’s clear all you did was graze your knee. It can’t be broken. I mean come on, you landed on grass.” “What a friend you are! You could at the very least show some sympathy for me!” Cloud shouted, feeling hurt by Sephiroths’ words. As the two of them continued to bicker, the Fire Materia Chilli oozed across the table, leaving a burning wake behind. The intense heat of the chilli caused the table to alight. The flames from the table jumped over to the rest of the kitchen, and then spread throughout the house. Once the flames had engulfed the house, they jumped to the neighboring houses. Somehow, both Sephiorth and Cloud didn’t notice the giant fire behind them as they were so engrossed in their argument. Finally, Sephiroth stopped for a few moments and heard several sounds, “Do you hear that? What could it be?” he asked. “A sound?” Cloud pondered, as he stopped to listen, “Oh, that sound. I just thought it was some form of flying cat.” “A flying-? You know what, never mind. Knowing you, I don’t want to know.” Sephiroth grumbled. He then turned around and saw what was left of Nibelheim. After that, he turned back around to Cloud, and yelled, “You idiot! Do you see what you’ve caused me to do?! All of Nibelheim is on fire, just because you couldn’t wait to show me, what ever it is!” He stormed off, towards Mt. Nibel, to find his mother. Cloud, feeling a bit shocked by Sephiroths’ words, decided to chase him. He had taken it upon himself to go on an epic quest to show Sephiroth his pet marmoset, which he had named, “Aerith.”What happened next has yet to be recorded.
  9. Hey guys, i just had an idea for a writing method i'll use when i come up with an idea for stories First, i will write a short-and-sweet synopsis of what the story will actually be about Then i will write a rough draft ''script'' that is in the style of a movie trailer and it would include pivotal scenes that i'm intending to have in the story and it will give a clear idea what the tone of the story would be. and then next i would try to add more scenes and flesh out the characters and story What do you guys think?
  10. Hi everyone! Welcome to the first installment of a new story. This is a collaboration between me and Amber Cole, Soul Reapers in training. This is our first time working together on a story, so be patient with us. A special thanks to Amber for originally starting this as an RP with me, and then making it grow. Cheers, and have fun reading! BANKAI! A note from the authors: Every you see a new edit to the post, such as edit 1, 2, 3, ect......that means a new episode has been added. So please scroll down, and enjoy episode 3! Bleach: A Tale Of Ice Cream And Hollows BY Alicia Maddox and Amber Cole Episode 1 The breeze streamed through the trees and lifted the petals of the flowers in a spritely dance. Cherry blossoms filled the area with a sweet scent and fell to the ground like pink snow. Alicia and Amber were out for a shopping trip in Karakura Town with the Soul Reaper, Ichigo, in tow. Alicia and Amber were both exchange students from the USA, but they had another secret. The only other people who knew about it were the Soul Society and Ichigo-and his two younger sisters. They were both Soul Reapers and the high spiritual activity happening in Karakura Town forced them to come here. Old Man Yama (head captain of the Soul Society) said they needed to gain strength. Alicia had known what her Bankai was for a while, but Amber had just learned hers and was still struggling with the pronunciation and remembering it’s name. “We should totally play a prank, or do something to Ichi!” Amber smirked at Alicia. Ichigo glared over at the two scheming girls with boredom. The Soul Society told him to keep an eye on the two girls that were going to be staying in an apartment down the street. Needless to say, he was still a little frustrated about it; especially when Alicia and Amber spoke English to each other. “Like what? We totally should!” Alicia laughed at the idea of it. “He’s forced to watch us anyways, so it will make it all the more fun!” Alicia and Amber giggled. “Okay……….we should challenge him to a dual. Him against the two of us, and we can provoke him and that ego of his. It will be easy! Anndd,” Amber waved her finger in the air, “ if we win he has to take both of us out somewhere!” “Let’s do it! He’s going to freak when he sees my Bankai…….if he even sees it that is.” Alicia grinned and turned around towards Ichi. Ichigo stopped and looked up. “Now what do you want?” He sighed. The two schemers smiled at each other. “We want to make a bet with you Kurosaki-sempai.” Said Alicia. Ichi raised an eyebrow. “Oh really? And just what kind of a bet would that be?” “A dual. Me and Amber against you. And only you.” Ichigo started. “What?! What kind of a bet is that! That’s not even fair. Two against one? Do you even know what your strategy will be?” Ichigo shook his head and crossed his arms, marveling at the stupidity of these two Americans. “And besides, There’s no way I’m fighting two inexperienced young ladies. What kind of a guy do you think I am?” He closed his eyes and turned away, preparing to continue walking. The two schemers snickered at him. “We expected you to say that Sempai.” Said Amber. “Or should I say……….chicken?” Ichigo spun around. “What!? Chicken? Why are you calling me that for?” Alicia walked up beside Amber. “Aw come on Amber. Let’s face it. Kurosaki-chicken is just afraid he’ll get his ass kicked by a couple of “inexperienced” foreign girls. It’s not worth it.” Alicia winked. Ichigo, by this time, was getting indigent. “Now hold on! I’m not afraid of you two. You think you can kick my ass? Well I’ll kick yours so hard you won’t be able to sit for a week!” At this, the two Americans laughed. “I wonder what your Bankai looks like.” Alicia rubbed her chin. Amber smirked. “Probably not much. I wouldn’t expect a lot from a substitute.” Now Ichigo was getting mad. He stormed up to them and bent down to eye level, right in their faces. “Hey! I’ll have you know, my Bankai is huge! It could wipe out half this town if I wanted to.” Unfazed, Amber went on. “Are you sure you want to stand by that statement. After all, you know what they about Soul Reapers and big Bankais.” That did it. Ichigo turned bright red and stepped back from the two. He raised a quivering finger in front of them. “Alright you two brats!” He said through clenched teeth. “If you really want a dual, then you’re gonna get one. Now name your terms.” “The terms are-“ said Alicia stepping up to them, “If you win, then you can brag to all your friends that you took on two highly skilled foreigners and beat them all over Karakura Town with one arm tied behind your back. But if we win, then you have to take the both of us out on a date. And we decide where to go. Deal?” Ichigo looked shocked. “A……a d-date? With you two?” “CHICKEN!” Alicia and Amber shouted together. Ichigo raised his hands to quite them. “Alright, ok! It’s a deal.” The two girls high fived each other. “YES!” Alicia and Amber pulled out two small objects that looked like Pez dispensers. “Over the teeth, and through the gums, look out Chappy, here it comes.” Said Alicia and popped a small green pill into her mouth. Amber did the same. And just like that, they left their bodies and were to be found in the spirit realm in their Soul Reaper form. Ichi took from his pocket the substitute badge that was given him and held it up to his chest. His soul left his body and he joined Amber and Alicia in the spirit realm. “Ok, so who want’s to go first.” Said Ichi. “I will” Alicia stepped forward. “alright then. Prepare to get your ass kicked.” Ichi took to the sky. Alicia followed after him. Amber stayed safely on the ground, knowing what was about to happen. Alicia gathered speed and overtook Ichi. They came to a stop high over the town. The sky was clear and blue. The sun was low in the sky, but it hadn’t begun to set yet. Alicia turned in the air to face him. “Now prepare Ichigo! You’ve seen nothing like this before.” Ichi smirked. “Yeah right. Show me what you got.” Alicia reached to her right and slowly pulled out her Zanpakuto. It was a standard weapon, but the sheath was a deep green and the hilt’s wrappings were green also. The pommel of the sword was in the likeness of a golden dragon. She held the Zanpakuto sideways, with the blade facing her opponent. Alicia then slowly moved her sword evenly across her from right to left, keeping a steady speed. “Raise your head over the horizon. Now Roar, RYU CHIKARA!!” At once, the edges of the sword burst into bright green flames. “Ugh…….” Ichigo shielded his eyes from the brightness. The flames grew bigger and longer. They quickly began to take shape in front of him. Down below, Amber observed the light show, grinning to herself. Up above, the flames began to solidify into a recognizable form. Ichigo gasped at what he saw. A huge, bright green dragon was floating before him. It had no wings, as was typical for a Japanese dragon. It’s main body was a bright, acid green and the under belly was of a lighter shade, with a tinge of yellow. It had spikes starting from the back of it’s head, down it’s back, and to the tip of it’s tail, ending it a sharp, lethal barb. It's head was covered in a thick, dark green mane of feathers, and it’s large round eyes were golden. Ichigo watched in awe as the dragon coiled it’s long snake-like body around Alicia. It raised it’s head high over hers. Ichi snapped out of it. “BANK-“ he began to shout, but the dragon had already opened it’s mouth as if it were roaring. But no sound came from it. Instead, what Ichigo saw was what looked like heat waves coming from it’s mouth and heading straight for him. Ichigo didn’t have time to react. He was hit with the first wave. “Ugh! What is this…….?” He clutched his head. Another wave hit him. “I…..I can’t see……..” Then Ichigo lost all consciousness upon the third wave and plummeted to the earth below. “Well that didn’t take long.” Amber said to herself. The dragon disappeared and Alicia sheathed her sword. She then followed Ichi back down. Ichigo hit the asphalt with a tremendous crash, leaving a shallow crater in the road. Alicia landed beside him. Amber walked over to Ichi and poked him in the head. “What did you do to him?” Alicia looked at the knocked out teen. “My Bankai has the ability to produce subsonic waves that momentarily disrupt the electrical brain waves in it’s target. Thus, causing my opponent to blackout for a few minutes. He’ll wake up soon enough. At that moment, the slumbering substitute began to stir. He groaned, and opened one eye. “What……..what the hell was that?” He grunted, as he sat up, rubbing his head. Alicia and Amber explained it to him. Ichi stood up and brushed himself off. He then turned to Alicia, a sheepish grin on his face. “Well, I must admit. I’m impressed. I’ve never heard of a Bankai that could do that sort of thing. Very well, you guys win.” Alicia and Amber both cheered. “So were would you like to go?” He said. Alicia and Amber looked at each other. They smiled. Amber grabbed Ichi’s left arm, and Alicia grabbed his right. They began to walk down the street. “Uh, guys?” Said Ichigo. “Guys……where are we going?..........Guys? Hey! Episode 2 The girls hurriedly pulled him over to a park where a small ice cream stand had been set up. “We want one of those.” Amber said, pointing, “And pronto!” Ichigo glared. “All you want is ice cream? Why didn’t you say so in the first place.” He started to walk over to the cart. “That’s not all, we want the big sundaes!” Alicia shouted after him. Ichi hunched his shoulders even more. He couldn’t wait for these two to go home. Why did they have to be such a pain in the ass? Weren’t they supposed to be helping the Hollow problem? All they were doing, was being a nuisance and causing trouble. Ichigo waited in line behind a mother and her screaming child. This was going to be a long school year. Ichigo glanced back at the two giggling girls, who kept looking up at him every so often, phones in hand. What were they up to now? “Excuse sir, what would you like?” A smiling woman in the ice cream cart asked. Ichi looked at the flavor board. What would be cheap, but big enough to be considered a sundae? He knew Amber liked anything with chocolate, or strawberry. She wouldn’t shut up about his name for a week after she arrived here. He also knew that Alicia liked mint-chocolate chip and coffee flavors. He didn’t see any prices on the ice cream, so it couldn’t be too bad. “I’ll take two sundaes. One with strawberry and chocolate, and the other with coffee and mint-chocolate chip.” He began to get out his wallet. His sister, Yuzu, was going to be all over him about how he didn’t get her any ice cream, he thought to himself. Ichi smirked. “Great! I’ll go make that for you.” Said the woman. “It will be 2,500 yen.” She gave a smile, and a small giggle. “WHAT!” Ichigo stared at the lady. “2,500 yen! That’s insane! What is it? Magic or something?!” Ichigo dug around in his wallet looking for some more yen. Amber and Alicia walked up with an amused expression their faces. “Here, I’ll buy my treat.” Alicia smacked down some money on the counter and winked at Amber. Ichi stared at them both, then clenched his teeth. “You can pay us back later Ichi.” Alicia said, licking her ice cream. Ichigo glared at the ground. “Yeah, what kind of a guy makes the girl pay for the date.” Amber sighed. “You really are a hopeless case Ichi.” “Hey! I don’t have to pay you back for anything. And we’re not on a date!” Ichigo shouted after them as they walked back down the street. Ichi noticed that people were starting to snigger. He ran off after them. “You have your damn ice cream now, so why can’t we just be over with this and go back home? I’m tired of having to babysit you guys. And besides, you two are old enough to take care of yourselves!” Ichigo ranted. Amber stopped and spun around. “Well like it or not, you lost a bet because you were too weak so now you have to go where we want to until the debt has been repaid!” Amber retorted. Ichigo and Amber stared each other down for a moment before Ichi sighed and turned away. “Fine. What are you two wanting to do now?” He said, with annoyance and boredom in his voice. He ran a hand through his messy orange-red hair. Alicia and Amber chatted quietly for a while. Then Amber turned to Ichigo. “The sun is about to set. We should all go to the park and watch it! RACE YA!” Amber gave a thumbs up before flash stepping toward the playground. Alicia turned back toward Ichigo with a smile. “C’me on! We can’t let her win can we?” Alicia grabbed Ichi’s hand and pulled him after her. “Finally! Something I’m good at.” Ichi laughed as he ran alongside her. By this time, Amber had already gotten way ahead of them. She was no longer in their sights. “I think she might beat us!” Alicia huffed, as she and Ichi sped toward the local park. But just then, they stopped dead in their tracks. A sudden, powerful wave of spirit pressure hit the two like a brick wall. It oppressive, and full of malice. Almost at the same time, a loud piercing scream shattered the twilight. Alicia stared at Ichigo with a horrified look on her face. “Do you think?” Ichigo nodded in response to Alicia’s question. “Then let’s go!” Ichigo and Alicia took off once more, now going faster than before, as more screams echoed through the streets. After what seemed like an eternity, they came at last to Karakura’s playground. It was a wide area, with a small field at one end and trees bordering the playground. On the other end was the play area, with monkey bars, a swing set, a jungle gym, and tires. When Ichi, and Alicia arrived there, their eyes quickly turned to the field not far off. What they saw shocked them. A Hollow nearly as big as the field it was in stood before them. It had a body like a gorilla’s and a tale like a possum. It’s thick, stumpy legs ended in camel-like hooves, and it’s skeletal head looked like an ape’s with thick ram horns curling on either side of it’s head. From the deeps of it’s empty sockets stared two sinister points of light. It’s muscular arms reached to the grond, and it’s hands were nothing more than three thick, sharp claws. It was covered from neck to tale in grayish-green scales. There was a huge gaping hole in the middle of it’s belly, and in one of it’s clawed hands, was Amber. It was squeezing her tightly. “AMBER!” Alicia screamed, dropping her ice cream. “Oh no!” Ichigo shouted in horror. Amber looked beaten. Blood was pooling underneath where the Hollow held her, mixing with the sundae she dropped trying to defend herself. “Amber, use your Bankai!” Alicia shouted to her, as she herself pulled out her Zanpakuto. Amber struggled as more blood trickled to the ground. “I……..I can’t remember how to pronounce it! And I feel so weak……..I don’t know why…..” Amber grunted. “NOOOOO!” Alicia screamed again, and charged toward the Hollow. Ichigo drew his sword and flash stepped in front of Alicia. “Wait! This Hollow is too big for you to take on alone. And it seems like it can drain a person’s spirit energy. Can you feel it?” He looked at the Hollow. Alicia checked herself. “Yeah, you’re right. I can feel a decrease in my strength. But what about Amber? We can’t leave her!” Alicia looked helplessly at Amber. Amber clenched her fist and weakly swung at the Hollow’s face. It hit with a weak thump. The Hollow laughed. “Come at me fools! Let me show you my true power!” It roared in a deep gravelly voice. Alicia gritted her teeth. “Ichigo, how do we beat this thing? I’ve never fought one this big, or powerful before.” Alicia glanced between Ichi and the Hollow. Ichigo smirked, with a confident look on his face. “Who needs a plan. All we gotta do is win right?” Ichigo turned to look at Alicia. “Back me up with some Kido, and since I have more experience, I’ll do the close combat.” Alicia nodded and readied herself. All these long hours of learning Kido would finally pay off. “Hang on! I’m coming to get you!” He swung his sword. “BANKAI!” he roared. Amber, still struggling, but just as determined as ever, glared down at him, trying to get an arm free from the Hollow’s grip. “I don’t need your help, bastard. I can do it. I know I can! Just let me try………Stars rain like the falling snow……ummmm…..ack!” The Hollow laughed at her attempt. “Pathetic Shinigami can’t even remember her own sword’s name!” “Hey bastard! Look at your attacker!” Ichigo spat and chaged toward the Hollow while Alicia bombarded it with Kido. “Hado 31. Shakkaho!” Alicia yelled, holding her left arm up and palm facing toward the Hollow’s face. A ball of red light shot from her hand. It hit it square in the eyes. The Hollow wailed and dropped Amber to the ground. It now turned all of it’s attention to the two attackers. “You punks!” The monster yelled. Ichigo launched himself from the ground with his sword held over his head. “YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!” He screamed and brought his sword swiftly down toward the Hollow’s face, but the brute blocked it, forcing Ichigo to retreat into the air just above it. Alicia ran closer to the monster. “Shakkaho!” She yelled again and fired a red ball of flame at it’s chest this time. It struck home, sending the Hollow backward and leaving it’s softer underside exposed. Ichigo did not hesitate; he zoomed back down, and, knowing the beast’s hide would still be tough, shouted, “GETSUGA TENSHO!” A bright blue-white wave of energy was flung from his blade and cut through the Hollow. Mortally wounded, it clutched it’s belly in pain. Ichigo came down hard on the monster with his blade. He sliced through it’s scull and down it’s full length. The Hollow gave a great roar, and disintegrated. I higo landed on the ground and sheathed his sword. Amber started to sit up as Alicia ran to her. “Are….are you ok? Are you hurt?” Alicia helped Amber up and dusted her off. Amber winced and clutched her ribs, her robes were stained with blood. “I…I think it broke a few of my ribs….” Amber managed to say. Alicia put Amber’s arm over her shoulders. “Let’s get you home and I’ll heal you.” She looked at Ichi. He was examining the place where the Hollow had been. His eyes were focused on the ground and his forehead was furrowed. “Ichigo, let’s go home.” Alicia called. Ichi looked up. “right.” He said. Walked back to the others and helped Alicia with Amber. “Are you ok, Amber?” He said quietly. “I’ll be ok once we get home.” She reassured him. Ichigo still looked troubled. Alicia glanced at him. “I know what you’re thinking. There was something not right about that Hollow. It was too big, and it’s spiritual pressure felt off somehow. “Ichigo looked back at the playground. “I just hope there aren’t any more of those in town….” They walked back to Alicia’s apartment, which was not far from Ichigo’s own home. When got in, Alicia took Amber to the couch and healed her. “Well, that was eventful.” Alicia smiled after she was done. Amber didn’t say anything. She just stared at her hands. “Ah, don’t beat yourself up about it, Amber. Learning the ins and outs of your Zanpakuto take time. You’ll get the hang of it eventually.” Ichigo smiled at her and winked. Amber smiled at him a little. Ichigo stretched and turned to look out a window. “In the meantime, we need to think about food. I’m hungry.” “Well, we could have sushi for a change.” Alicia stood up. “The only problem is, I don’t know how to fix it. But Amber here does. She’s a pro!” Amber blushed a little. “Oh I’m not THAT good. But we’ll have to go to my apartment, if we all want sushi.” “Then let’s go!” Ichigo opened the door and lead the two girls out. Just as they were walking across the street, Alicia piped up. “By the way, you still owe us Ichi” Ichigo stopped in the middle of the street. “What do you mean I still owe you? You got your ice cream didn’t you?” Amber smiled. “Well, not really. We never really got a chance to eat it because of that Hollow. So you still owe us a date.” She winked at him, Alicia giggled. Ichigo, on the other hand, was in histerics. “Now wait just a damn minute! I just saved your asses, doesn’t that count for SOMETHING! Hey! Come back here, I’m not done yet!” Ichigo chased the now laughing girls across the street and into the next apartment complex, while two dark figures watched from a window above. Episode 3 Ichigo stopped suddenly and looked around. He had sensed other spiritual presser close by, but then it had vanished as soon as Ichi took notice of it. He shook his head. It was probably another Soul Reaper passing close by. He resumed following the girls to the apartments. They, of course, had out run Ichigo by this time and were now inside. “Hey, wait up!” He called, but he knew it was pointless, though, he did hear faint giggling and a door slam shut somewhere above him. Ichi smiled to himself. Amber and Alicia were a pain, but a good one. Though he would never admit it out loud, the two Yankees were starting to grow on him a bit. Ichi climbed the steps of the apartment slowly, trying to remember which one was Amber’s. He finally came to what he thought was the right door and knocked. “Hello? It’s me…..” The door was unlocked, so Ichi let himself in. He stepped into a short hallway with a flight of steps directly to the right. To the left was a doorway leading into the living room. Alicia was seated on a low couch in front of a TV. An anime show was on. Ichi quickly caught a flash of roses and a lot of pink as a group of boys dressed in light blue danced across the screen. Amber poked her head out of the kitchen with a knife in her hand. It was then that the smell of cooking food hit Ichigo in the face. He breathed in slowly, then exhaled. Now he was hungry. “So now you decide to use your manners!” Amber laughed and pointed at him with her knife. Ichi tensed a little. “We knew it was you at the door. And if it wasn’t, Alicia could have totally kicked your butt!” Alicia laughed and looked around at him. “Just like how I handed your ass to you in that duel.” Alicia and Amber high-fived. Ichigo rolled his eyes and plopped down next to Alicia on the couch. “So what kind of sushi are we having?” He asked as Amber brought out a tea tray for him and Alicia. He took a sip from his cup. “I was thinking about a salmon roll, or maybe spicy tuna! Those are really good and I can make some edamame to go with it.” Amber started rambling off more choices to him and Alicia as she walked back into the kitchen. “Yeah, that sounds good!” Alicia called after her friend. Things turned quiet, as Alicia and Ichigo became absorbed in the anime show; the sounds of food being prepared provided background noise. Just then, a new noise made itself known. Outside the apartment door, the soft, but distinct sound of footsteps were heard. Ichigo paid in no mind as he thought it was just other apartment inhabitants walking down the stairs outside. But then, he felt that same spiritual pressure again. Stronger this time. Ichigo quickly stood up; Alicia looked around at the door and Amber walked out of the kitchen. Do you guys…feel that?” Alicia asked. Just then, the door burst open in a plume of purple smoke. Alicia and Amber rushed toward the smoke with a battle scream. “Guys, wait!” Ichigo tried to stop them, but couldn’t move quickly enough. Ready for action, the two girls started swinging, or throwing whatever they had in hand. A tight grip took hold of their arms, but it wasn’t a monster; the dying smoke revealed a tall man in a dark green tunic and a low brimmed, green and white stripped hat that shadowed most of the features of his face, standing before them. He had the girls by their wrists in each hand and a lazy, devilish smirk was on his face. “Well, nice to meet you two at last. I’ve heard some promising things from the Soul Society about you.” His voice came in a relaxed, laid back drawl. “And judging by your fears response to my presence, I’d say I won’t be disappointed.” He looked up at Ichigo. “I take it you haven’t told them about me yet, Ichigo. I’m disappointed in you.” He released them. Alicia and Amber rubbed their wrists. “You look a lot like those surfer guys from where I live. And what the hell are you doing in my house? Haven’t you heard of privacy?” Amber interjected. The strange man stared down at her and casually raised his hands in mock surrender. “Hey, I came here because I heard someone say there was going to be sushi and Yoruichi…..” He motioned down and Amber and Alicia saw at his heels, a cat as black as the night outside. It’s big golden eyes peered up at them. “..and I have some news I think concerns you all. From what I understand, you were attacked correct? He looked at Amber. Alicia cleared her throat and spoke up. “Exactly who are you anyway?” “Oh! My apologies. The name is Kisuke. Kisuke Urahara.” Kisuke gave a formal bow. “Now that the formalities are out of the way, shall we discuss the issue at hand over some sushi.” An unfamiliar voice spoke. Alicia and Amber looked around, but no one else was in the room with them. “Down here.” Came the voice again, this time a little annoyed. They looked down. The cat looked back at them. It blinked. Sudden realization dawned on the two girls. Alicia gasped, Amber shrieked and jumped back behind Ichigo, clutching his shoulders. “IT…….IT TALKED! THAT CAT TALKED!!” The cat sniffed. “You humans are all the same. I always get the same response.” Yoruichi’s tail twitched. Ichigo sighed and pried Amber’s hands off his shoulder. Alicia, who was momentarily stunned by this new revelation, finally regained her powers of speech. She squealed and ran over to the cat. “My dreams have finally come true!” She picked up the cat and spun around, holding it close to her face. The cat gave an angry yowl, unsheathed it’s claws, and pricked Alicia on the nose. “Owww!” she dropped the indignant beast. Yoruichi sniffed and glared at her. “I am not just some common house cat. I am a human being too.” The feline bounded over to the couch and in a bright flash of light, transformed. There, in the middle of the room, stood a beautiful woman. She was lithely built, but muscular, like her cat form. Her skin was dark, and her short hair was a deep purple. Her large eyes kept their golden hue, and………….she was stark naked. Alicia and Amber shrieked. Ichigo quickly turned away, his face turning a bright red. “Damn it, put some clothes on!” Kisuke smirked. He reached into his robes and pulled out a small white fan. With a quick turn of his wrist the fan opened. He hid his smile behind it. Out of everyone in the room, Kisuke seemed creepily nonchalant about the fact that a naked young woman just materialized out of thin air. Yoruichi turned to Ichigo. She smirked. “Aw, you know you like it.” She winked, and Alicia and Amber started to laugh. Ichi’s face got redder. “It’s not funny!” He said through gritted teeth. Amber snickered, and grabbed a robe from a hanger next to the door. She threw it to Yoruichi. “Thank you” She said and put it on. “It’s safe to look now.” Alicia laughed and sat back down on the couch. Yoruichi sat next to her. Amber went back in the kitchen to finish the food while Ichigo and Kisuke took their seats at some bean bag chairs on the floor. Anticipation written all over her face, Alicia leaned toward Kisuke. “So tell us, do you know anything about that strange Hollow we fought.” Amber appeared with more tea and the sushi. “Dig in!” Amber plopped down on the floor next to Alicia. Kisuke folded and ufolded his hands before that lazy smile of his appeared on his face.
  11. The hidden secret of the mountain On a beautiful sunny day one destiny islands, Sora, a boy who lives on the islands, wonders what the mountain, in the center of the main island has something hidden inside of it. So he runs to his friend’s house, which is next door to Sora’s house and looks unto a window which hasn’t been shut off from the light of the sun. At that same moment riku, Sora’s friend woke up from his bed that sunny morning and when he saw his friend’s face on the window he panicked and fell on the floor near his bed. Sora started laughing and said, “Sorry for waking you up this early in the morning Riku. I need to talk to you about something.” “What is it about Sora?” “I won’t tell you until you open the window and let me in.” “Fine” Riku said followed by a sigh. “Now can you tell me what you’re trying to say?” “Yes, it’s about the mountain in the center of the island. I wonder if there is something cool in there.” “I highly doubt that a mountain would have a secret mountain pass for us to get in. Even if there is a way to get in the mountain, I will not be accompanying you there.” Riku said “Why not Riku?” “Because I don’t want to get in trouble if my parents find out that I was on a mountain.” “Forget about your parents now riku. I remember that you said that your parents are going to go to the beach that is not far from here. They said they are going to stay there for about three hours, which is enough time to go to the mountain and back and fast enough.” “alright then.” Riku said with a smile on his face. “What about your parents Sora?” Well, they decided that they are going to my grandmother’s house on the other side of the island for about 3 days and trust me that I can handle myself when I’m not in the house, so I should be fine as well.” “hmm, okay then let’s go to the mountain top in about ten minutes okay Sora?” “That’s fine by me.” Sora said with a smile on his face.” 30 minutes later the boys meet back on a road that is in the direction of the mountain they looked at each other at the same time and Sora said “Are you ready for this Riku?” “You know I am.” They walked in a very slow paste to the mountain in front of them, observing the trees the moved in the tropical wind and the birds singing in the gorgeous morning. They followed the road as though it is the yellow brick road. While in the middle of the wilderness Sora looked in the sky and seen ominous clouds moving in their direction. Um, Riku I think a storm is coming our way.” “I noticed Sora.” Riku said calmly “Did you bring an umbrella, Sora? “Nope.” Sora said looking down at the ground. “Great. Follow me Sora.” Riku said. Sora followed Riku to a umbrella tree and got under it. While standing under the tree Sora said “I should have brought an umbrella. This wouldn’t have happened if I brought one.” Don’t worry about it Sora.” Riku said to Sora looking at him in the eyes. “The past is the past and there’s nothing we can do about it.” The rain stopped a few minutes later and the boys continued on their journey to the mountain. When they got really close to the mountain there is a pile of stairs that they saw on the mountain. The stairs looked really old and worn out. It looked as though the stairs where made out of very old wood which wasn’t a surprise for Sora and Riku for they live on an island on which houses where mostly made out of wood. Riku looked at the stairs closely and said, “Well it looks to dangerous to go up those very old steps so let’s go back.” Sora then said “No. I am not going to go back after all the trouble to get here Riku.” Riku then shouted at the top of his lungs “Well fine then! If you want to get yourself killed for something that is way to dangerous to do, then I’m fine with that! I’m going to go home now Sora!.” Riku turned around and walked in the direction of the town. Sora looked down and then looked up suddenly as if he is determined to go up the mountain. He took is first step on the stairs carefully. When he felt as though the stairs are safe to walk on he walked normally up the stairs until he reached the sight of a very old chest which is at the very end up the staircase. Sora jumped for joy and smiled when he realized that his goal was finally accomplished. Sora opened the chest and in it he found 2 wooden swords. Sora looked at both of them carefully and then walked to the direction of the town. When Sora got to the town he saw Riku standing near where his parents are standing. He walked up to them and heard Riku’s mother say “You are in so much trouble young man. You are grounded for one month!” Riku looked down and said “I’m sorry mom.” “I forgive you son, just don’t do that again. Your punishment will start tomorrow morning.” “Okay mom.” Riku said when Riku’s parents were of Sora’s view he walked up to Riku and said, “I dare you to battle me for the winner will get 50 munny.” “What does the loser get?” Riku said “The loser will get nothing.” Okay then Sora I’ll battle you, but it’s only because I won’t be able to go outside for a month.” Sora smiled and said “Get ready Riku. The two fought each other as though they forgot what had happened earlier in the day. While they are fighting the sun was covered by the mountain top and shade of the mountain fell over the boys. When the sun’s light was just barely covering the surface of the island the stopped fighting and Sora said “That was fun Riku.” “I agree Sora. That was fun” then sora said “We should do this everyday so we can be better fighters.” “yeah we should. I’m going home now Sora. Good bye Sora. See you in a month.” Okay Riku. See ya. When they were about 30 feet away from each other they smiled at each other at the same time and both waved back. Sora then said to himself “Man, this is why I am friends with him.” Sora looked up in the darkening skies and saw two stars in the sky that are connected, which made him smile again.
  12. Here is a formula i came up with for when writing stories n act 1 of the story i would introduce the characters and the world my characters live in. In act 2 i would give my audience time to warm up to the characters and get to know them (aka character development) And finally in act 3 i would end the story with an epic, and dramatic action sequence that will wrap up the story What do you guys think?

The unrest had spiraled into a full out war, and our heroes had started their defense of the worlds by finding the root of this threat and exterminating it once and for all. During these days of war and strife, Ventus struggled with his inner darkness, Terra came back from exile, and many other allies entered the fold, using their powers to turn the tide of the war in their favor. Ventus had found a boy named Kyle as Radiant Garden was nearing it’s destruction, and he decided to take care of him. Legions of Heartless and Nobodies had relentlessly attacked our heroes, but Dexeres had gained control of the Nobodies, and so had won them over as allies. Soon after, in a battle against a traitor, Ventus unleashed Vanitas, and to his surprise, Vanitas turned to their side, and the Unversed also became allies. As everyone kept fighting off the hordes of enemies, the mysterious cloaked enemies made their purpose and intentions utterly clear: to dominate all worlds and extinguish all opposition. After many struggles, our heroes reached the enemy’s stronghold, and one by one, they defeated their foes. Many sacrifices were made, and many of our valiant heroes were brought to their limit. Kyle had discovered the power of the Dark Light, and many villains of old had returned to spell doom for everyone. But with determination and with the unwavering resolve to fight, Sora and his friends, along with a powerful artifact called the Atarax Meteor Shard, defeated Dark Orion once and for all, finally bringing a long sought for peace. After this great war, three months of peace followed, but soon after Riku noticed that something was wrong. He knew that things were not completely as they seemed. And now, three years later, we shall see the events that unfold... (End Song Here) Prologue: Keyblade (Start Song Here) Three years have passed since Sora and his friends saved the worlds from Dark Orion’s wrath. The night is calm and peaceful, with a gentle and soothing breeze coming from the west, and the stars shine brightly, perhaps brighter than they have ever been in a long time. Dawn quietly gazes upon the stars, as if counting them, and she smiles and sighs and looks to her right, where there resides a fortress, a fortress she calls home. She wishes nothing more than to just escape from there. It’s not out of hate or despair, not even about disappearing. She just wants to meet Riku. It’s such a simple wish, she thinks to herself. Why then, would the elder not allow her to see him? But that’s something she already knew the answer to, and no matter how hard or how much she could try to convince the elder otherwise, his answer would remain the same. As she thought of this, her resolve and will were slowly fading away, as her dream of being able to meet Riku would never be realized. And with that, she heads towards the fortress. (End Song Here) Upon arriving, she notices that the fortress is oddly quiet. Perhaps a little bit too quiet, she thought. But then she pays it no mind, and instead she goes towards her room. As she walks along the beautifully crafted stone hallways, she can’t help but feel a sudden tinge up her spine, as if something had frozen her from behind. She looked back and saw no one behind her. She thought this rather odd, and so she picked up the pace, hoping to head over to her room quickly, where she knew she could be safe. Suddenly she felt the strange tinge again, and this time, when she looked back, she saw something, or rather, the shadow of something that just passed before her eyes. Now she knew that she wasn’t alone. She cautiously took a few steps back and she looked to both sides, at her right noticing that the stone hallway had become pitch black, and on her left, she noticed that everything seemed normal. Something definitely wasn’t right, and she didn’t like one bit of it. (Start Song Here) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fk0dZbpc8qU Breathing in slowly and relaxing her muscles, Dawn remains calm and collected, despite feeling the tinge on her spine yet again. Then, when she shifts her eyes to her right, she notices that a Neoshadow charges towards her, and she barely dodges it’s attack. The Neoshadow tumbles on the floor and is dazed, and Dawn is completely surprised. “Heartless? Here in the fortress? How can this be? This is supposed to be a sanctuary, where no darkness can enter!”, she thinks to herself, now fearing the worst for the elder and the others, but then she quickly shakes her head. “No, they can’t be dead. They can take on these creatures, it would take more than these things to take them down.” She then regains her focus and notices that the Neoshadow goes towards her again, and this time, she falls to the ground and closes her eyes, ready to receive the final blow. (End Song Here) But as she opens her eyes, she notices that the Neoshadow dissipates before her, and then she’s even more surprised to see that she’s wielding a Keyblade! She gasps and drops it on the ground, and then she looks around, making sure that no one watched the events that just took place. She then looks at the Keyblade and admires it’s design. The hilt is a smooth silver color, while the handlebars are scarlet red and bronze. She then looks at the blade, noticing the smooth curves and sharp edges on either side. She also notices a type of scripture on the blade, in a language she doesn’t understand. Then she notices that at the top of the blade, the smooth curves coalesce into a bronze crown. She suddenly feels uneasy, and then she quickly runs to her room and slams the door shut, and she puts the Keyblade on her bed, uncertain of what to do. “Impossible. How is it that I’ve come to wield a Keyblade?” ,she says to herself. Then she remembered the teachings of the elder, and she remembered these specific words: “Only those with a strong heart that doesn’t waver in the face of adversity can be deemed worthy of wielding a Keyblade.” She then looks at the Keyblade in her bed, and she thinks to herself: “Is my heart really strong enough?” She then thinks of Riku, and she feels a sudden surge of determination. “Riku, you are my strength, you make me feel strong! You’re the reason I can wield the Keyblade!” With that, the Keyblade disappears in a blinding flash of light and then it rematerializes in her hand, and she looks at it, amazed, and already she feels the blade as a part of herself. “I’ll call you, Flaming Crown.” ,she says to herself while admiring her Keyblade. Then she hears a knock on her door, and she gasps and quickly dematerializes her Keyblade and quickly makes her way to her bed. “Come in!” ,she says. When the door opens, she sees that it’s none other than the Elder. He smiles a reassuring smile and then closes the door and sits in a chair near her bed. Dawn smiled appreciatively and she sat on her bed and she put her hands together. “Hello Elder. To what do I owe this visit?” The Elder leaned back on the chair and he smiled. “Well, I came to check on you, for I sensed that you were quite agitated.” He then took a second and is smile faded away into a serious and questionable face. “Dawn, what happened to you? You look very pale…” Realizing his suspicions, Dawn tries her best to improvise and the pretends to cough. “Oh, my apologies Elder, I was out on the porch enjoying the night breeze, and I seemed to have caught a cold.” The Elder kept glancing at her, and then he stood up and started walking towards the door. “Well, at least your safe, and that’s what matters. If you need anything, come to me, or if I am not available, seek the other members of the counsel.” Dawn nodded and she bowed her head down in respect. “Yes, of course. Thank you very much Elder, I appreciate it.” With that, the Elder left her room, and she sighed of relief. This was too close of a call, and if she hadn’t had such sharp hearing skills, she might not have had a chance to dematerialize her Keyblade. She remained seated in her bed, and then she extended her arm forward, and her Keyblade materialized in her hand again. She was dumbstruck that she could wield such a power, but she still had many answers that were gnawing at her mind. “I need to consult this with the one person I trust the most…Valgard.” She immediately reinforced her decision, for Valgard was the one person she could trust in the counsel. It wasn’t that the others had evil intentions, but she never felt comfortable around them, not even around the Elder. And so, she quietly snuck out of her room and then she headed towards the library, where she knew that Valgard would be. As she walked towards the library, she noticed that the cold breeze had suddenly stopped, and now everything felt less eerie and more peaceful. She could hear faint sounds of blades clashing, no doubt other members of the counsel honing their skills in the courtyard. She took advantage of this and headed ever faster towards the library, and as she entered, she saw Valgard perched at the very top of a giant stockpile of books, where he was carefully analyzing one. Dawn smiled and she put her hands behind her back. “Hello there Valgard, and good evening.” Valgard marked the page of the book so he could read it later, and then he closed it, and he gracefully landed towards Dawn, and he smiled warmly, his silvery hair complimenting his silver eyes and fair skin. “Well good evening Dawn. I didn’t expect you to be here at these hours of the night. But then again, you’ve never been one to follow the rules. Come, have a seat. What can I help you with?” Dawn sighs in relief and then she sits and she breathes in and out slowly. “Well, here goes.” She extends her arm and her Keyblade materializes in her hand, causing Valgard to drop his jaw in amazement. “A Keyblade!?” --------------------------------------- As Dawn discovers the power of the Keyblade, what guidance does she seek from Valgard? What did the appearance of that Neoshadow mean? Dawn hopes to find the answers by speaking to her beloved friend Valgard. 14. The Diary of Alexander the Great Entry #1; July 9th, 98 AG Dad got me this weird book yesterday for my 12th birthday. At first I thought he was joking when he gave it to me, because mom’s always the one who reads me stories, and dad knows I hate reading myself. He told me it wasn’t for reading, but writing stuff in. I didn’t really get it. I probably wouldn’t have guessed it was for that if he hadn’t told me, because I don’t really like stuff that’s boring. And opening up a book full of blank pages is about as boring as it gets around here. I told mom to write the stuff for me or whatever I was supposed to do, but she just laughed at me and said I didn’t get the rules of the game. Mom was wrong probably. If this was a game it would have pictures or pieces. But she kept saying that the point was for me to write in the book myself. That’s where I started thinking this was a joke again. Games are supposed to be fun. Writing isn’t fun. At least I don’t think so. Everyone else kept giggling at me so I guess they were having fun but I just felt like the whole thing was stupid. Mom said that if I just start writing random stuff it would be easier. Well, she was right, but that doesn’t make this any less dumb. Entry #2; July 14th, 98 AG Sis caught me not writing and told mom! She’s so annoying sometimes. Looks like I have to actually do this anyway. After dad found out he sat me down and got about as serious as he can get. He said that this was supposed to build character or something and that I would have to keep at it to see any results. He then gave me a whole bunch of rules that just make this thing more painful. To make things easier I’m just gonna write them all here so I don’t forget them and get dad on my case again. 1. Write more than 100 words every day 2. Mention something that happened to you that day 3. Make sure you label the date for every day The journal already comes with dates premade and stuff so I don’t need to worry about the last one. It’s the other two that are going to be just really stupid. Right now I’m just hoping that after I use up the whole book writing that mom and dad are just going to give this all up. Entry #3 July 15th, 98 AG Nothing happened. Dad left for a while to go shop. Mom stayed home like always. Dad came home with a new book. Mom read it to me and the baby. Sis didn’t come because she said she was getting too old for that. She just wants to make me mad cause I’m older than her. Still don’t know why I’m supposed to even be doing this. Maybe I’ll find out tomorrow. Entry #4 July 16th, 98 AG I didn’t find out today. Mom had to leave for the first time in a while for business. Dad stayed home and worked the factory. Me and Sis had to take care of the baby, but dad helped a lot. The baby cried a lot because mom was gone. I’m starting to think she just shouldn’t leave. Mom didn’t come back when it got dark so sis was starting to worry. I got kind of scared too. Dad said she was fine and just working late. I hope he’s right. Entry #5 July 17th, 98 AG Mom’s still not home. Too bored to write. Dad’s busy so it’s not like he cares. Entry #6 July 26th, 98 AG Mom came home today! She was really tired when she got here but I was just happy to see her. I think Sis and the baby were even happier though, but ther girls so maybe it has something to do with that? Uncle was with mom when she came home, which was awesome! Everyone was really happy to see him too because we didn’t even know he was coming. Even dad was happy to see him! Mom was acting really weird though. She asked me if I was studying while she was gone even though I told her it was summer. She looked really confused and then smiled saying that of course it was. She said she just lost track of the time. I don’t care what happened. I’m just glad things are back to normal. Entry #7 July 27th, 98 AG Today was kinda weird. Not bad but just weird. Uncle was the only person me and my sisters saw most of the day. Mom and Dad were both gone since pretty much this morning. I saw them a little bit when I woke up but I don’t know if I was just sleepy or something. When me and Sis asked Uncle where they were he said that they were out spending time with each-other which was weird cause they usually didn’t do that stuff. Sis was kind of angry because she wanted to spend time with mom after her being gone so long but I guess she kind of got it. Most of today was just kind of boring. Mom and Dad came home really late. Sis and the baby fell asleep waiting for them but I was still awake. Mom just hugged me and said thank you but said I really needed to go to sleep. I did, but after I got in bed mom and dad tucked me in, which they usually don’t do together. Mom read me my favorite story while dad was there helping with sound effects and everything. It was actually really funny, and I liked it a lot! After a while I closed my eyes and just started listening to the sounds. Mom and dad must have thought I was sleeping but they kept going anyways. After they were done they said goodnight and left. I opened my eyes before they went away, and I saw them hugging in the hallway light. Mom looked really sad for some reason. Entry #8 July 28th, 98 AG Uncle left today, said he had some stuff to take care of. I get it, Uncle doesn’t usually stay very long because he’s a LOT busier than mom or dad, but it was still sad to see him go. I can say that today was probably a bad day. Well, maybe not bad but just annoying. Mom’s finally back to normal, but she wanted to spend the whole day in town for some reason. She also just wanted to take me and Sis with her and go shopping while Dad stayed home with the baby. Sis was really happy about this, but I didn’t get why I had to come. They spent most of the day just trying out clothes and giggling at each-other. I started to feel like I was just there to give them someone to laugh at. I didn’t feel very good about that. Things got a lot better after a while though. There was a fair in town and mom took us to ride a lot of the rides, which was cool cause we usually don’t do that stuff. Sis beat me in the strength testing thing, which she bragged about all day. I didn’t care though, everyone knows she’s always been crazy strong. The best part was when we got cotton candy, which I LIKE. A lot. Mom never gets it for us though, which I always thought was really unfair. But today was special, I guess. I don’t know why, maybe I have a secret birthday no one tells me about? After that we went home, and dad was there with the baby. Things were pretty much the same after that, it’s just the day started off really weird. Sis looked like she had so much fun though. I guess that’s all that mattered today. Entry #9 July 29th, 98 AG Today was one of the best days ever. Mom decided she wanted to go out again but she took me and the baby this time while dad stayed home with Sis. I guess I really shouldn’t call her baby anymore, she’s only like two years younger than Sis and she can talk and stuff. Think it’s just one of those habit things. Mom said we were going on a picnic in the white forest, which the baby got really happy about, and so did I. We really liked the white forest, all kinds of forests! It was really cool in the winter when there was snow everywhere, even though mom said it was too dangerous to go out there alone. Me and the baby still did sometimes. Mom was always there to find us after all. Mom made our favorite sandwiches, but they tasted even better when we were out in the forest, the baby even said so. After that we played tag, which I was really bad at. Mom and the baby are so fast it was totally unfair, so I was always it. But I didn’t mind, because I always liked chasing people. After that we all played jump-rope for a bit, which I was actually really good at. Not sure if I should be happy or not. Mom said we could use some firewood, so the baby and I made a game over who could get the most. I got the bigger sticks cause I could carry more, but she got a lot of smaller ones cause she was really fast in picking them up. After we were done mom brought us to town real quick to get us some ice-cream, which we ate while we went back to the forest. We ended up eating it all before we got back, which mom was kind of worked up about. She said we were supposed to eat them in front of the sunset, but she just laughed it off when she realized that she ate hers too without really knowing. The sunset was awesome… no, that might not be enough to say how good it was. I usually don’t use girly words like beautiful or pretty or amazing, but I would use them to say what that sunset looked like. Mom read me and the baby our favorite book while we both sat in her arms in front of the sunset. I don’t care what happens tomorrow. This was one of the best days ever and nothing’s going to change that. I’m just glad I wrote it here so I can remember everything that happened. Maybe that’s what this was all about after all. *The next hundred or so pages are nigh illegible. Most are completely torn or flat out removed to the point where they aren’t even recognizable. A spare few words are still preserved in very rare places. Most of the time stamps have been destroyed, so it’s impossible to tell which entries occurred where, but a few words that can still be distinguished from the mess of destroyed paper are: “…left again…” “...guy with white hair sho…” “…ing to go to the forest agai…” “… baby still hasn’t wok…up…” “… gone.”* *There is a single entry that has been perfectly preserved. It takes place roughly two months from the last entry, given the page gap between the two. The time stamp has been torn away, but its estimated date is reliable enough. This is the last entry written in the journal.* Entry #?, est. October 14th, 00 AG It hurts too much to write. I’m sick of this. I’m sick of everything. I hate the baby. I hate Sis. I hate dad. I hate mom. I hate everything. *What little remains of the journal is blank.*
  15. Part I Entry #1, January 4th 01 AG How long has it been since I did something like this? A year, maybe? It probably just feels that way. These last few… months? Days, even… all of them have been the longest of my life. It feels like my last journal entry was a lifetime ago. Father told me that it would be healthy to write my feelings down in a journal again, even when considering what happened last time. I think he just doesn’t want me to keep everything bottled up inside. Because he’s been so strong these last few months, I’ve decided to honor his wishes. No matter how much it hurts. Every time I write down a new word I feel a burning pain inside my chest, because I’m reminded of the way things used to be. I keep telling myself that this is what’s best, but that doesn’t make the pain go away. I suppose the only thing I can do is take everything one step at a time and try not to think about it too hard. Entry # 2, January 5th 01 AG Dad said I didn’t have to leave home, but I knew he was just trying to convince himself of that. I could tell, deep inside, he knew what I felt. There’s nothing left for me there anymore. Any semblance of normalcy died away a long time ago. I’ve tried moving on, acting like everything’s the same. But it isn’t. There’s a hole there that can never be filled and I’m not going to pretend like I can live with it anymore. I don’t have anything left. Just this burning pain and a confused drive for something I can’t begin to understand. I don’t even know what I’m striving for; all I know is that I need answers. Once I accepted that, I realized it was time to become a different person. The first thing I needed to do was involve myself in my Mother’s work. Now, I never really had a passion for her profession, I merely found it admirable. But that doesn’t matter now. I don’t care what I have to go through, whether it’s heaven or hell. I will have the ending I deserve. Entry #3, January 14th 01 AG I’ve arrived at the Academy today, and thought I’d record a few details regarding what’s happened. While today was merely initiation, a slow start to get us into the swing of our new lives, I still couldn’t help but feel uneasy. If I was expecting anything from this school, it certainly wasn’t what I got. Things started off well enough. The headmaster cordially introduced himself personally to all the new students. As a side note, I couldn’t help but feel surprised at just how many people were accepted here; from what I’ve heard, this is a rather prestigious academy. The headmaster seemed a bit jarring at first, not anything like what I envisioned. His words were strange, stagnant, almost robotic. He spoke of how we all lacked initiative and drive, how we were a waste of time. From my eyes, it seemed as though he was trying to provoke us with his words, trying to give us a standard to strive for. An interesting approach, but I imagine he merely served to confuse most of the starting class. After initiation, I was shown my dormitory. While the school does not require us to live on student grounds, I was glad enough that they offered housing. Spending another day at home would have been agony. Surprisingly enough, the dormitories were co-ed. Not as if it made much difference; they were large enough to house a single student in each of their rooms. I can say I’m glad that I don’t have anyone to distract me though; I’d rather not make any friends here. And at the very least, I can write in peace. Entry #4, January 26th 01 AG Things are going rather smoothly. At least, about as much as I could ask for. My classes are basic and relatively simple enough to work through, so I can guess all of us are still in a stage where the school is attempting to ease its students into the program. Some of those students seem to be struggling, however. Not due to lack of intelligence or talent, mind you, but simply determination. Our classes, while trivial, are all consuming. I can imagine that most those who lack the discipline to work through all the material in a timely manner will drop out before next semester, because they simply don’t have the commitment to follow through. The first few weeks have been grating, there are too many childish and overly optimistic students plaguing the halls. I’m not saying those are inherently terrible qualities, but I know that with mindsets like that, they won’t last long, unless their devotion is unshakable. For me, there was obviously no question. I see a few spare people now and again who I can tell feel the same way. It’s a stark contrast; one that I hope persists. Needless to say, I feel more comfortable in the company of people more akin to myself. It’s likely that I won’t be recording my days in the journal on an annual basis, as I did before. For one, I would like to focus on my studies, and secondly, I’ll have little of significance to speak about after this. I’ll see when I can update this journal most conveniently. Until that time, I will need to attend to other matters. Entry #5, February 27th 01 AG I’ve begun contact with one of my Mother’s former co-workers. Apparently, he received word from my father regarding what I plan to spend the foreseeable future dedicated to. Put lightly, he does not approve of my decision. I’m not sure why, but he was rather adamant that this was a fool’s journey. I promptly informed him that nothing would shake my resolve at this point, yet he refused to back down himself. Our conversation ended badly, yet he did give me a number which I could use to get in touch with him if need be. I gave him my own in turn, and he promptly went on his way. The fact that he was willing to travel such a distant to see me for such an apparently mundane reason proves that he isn’t telling me something. I’m not sure what, but I’ll get the truth out of him eventually. No matter the cost. Entry #6, May 3rd 01 AG *This entry has unfortunately been restricted by the Collaboration. Due to the divulgence of sensitive personal information, it is no longer available for public browsing. Thank you for your patience and understanding.* Entry #7, May 27th 01 AG Not enough time to explain everything. The final test went fine. Need to make some modifications. Have to decide where I’ll stay for summer. Need to make a few calls. Entry #8, June 25th 01 AG After my stay at the academy, I was forced to return home. Unfortunately for me, the school I’m currently enrolled in doesn’t offer summer courses, and by extension, summer housing for students. When returned to my family, I was greeted with the same kind of desolation I anticipated. My youngest sister was still in shock, which was understandable, given what she’s been through. The middle child, my other younger sister, was more accepting of what had transpired. And as a result, she was less than kind towards me. Our father tried his best to mediate between us, but I don’t believe anything could have fixed that rift now. I made my choice when I left for the academy, and that can never be taken back. It’s hard to accept, but I figure that so long as that’s true, nothing will ever be settled between us. However, what hurt more than anything was the thought that my youngest sister would feel the same way once she came to terms with what happened. That’s why I couldn’t bear staying there any longer. Losing the bond with my first sister was hard, but we never really saw eye to eye in the first place. Losing the love of the youngest would make everything all the more agonizing; out of everyone, she may have been the one I cared for most. It hurt to see her in so much pain, but it would hurt even more to see her come to hate me as her older sister does. For that reason, I’ve resolved to never come back, at least not for the foreseeable future. Dad understood my reasoning. While he never approved of my choices either, he still supported me, despite how much pain I had caused. One of my greatest regrets walking this path is knowing that I’ll most likely never become a man like him. I remained at the house for about 2 weeks, before deciding that I had to leave. My father arranged for me to stay with my uncle during the rest of summer, and he even managed to convince him to house me for the rest of my seasons away from the school, if need be. I can’t say I’m surprised things were able to work out this way, though. My uncle is rarely ever at his home, as his job commonly demands he work in the field. I’m currently on the way to stay with him. Since this whole process is starting to feel like a waste of time, I probably won’t write anything else in this journal unless I find it absolutely necessary. Entry #9, October 26th 02 AG Roughly two nights ago, I received a call from the man described in my fifth entry. I had nearly forgotten him, and for a good reason; we haven’t spoken since. After our first meeting, I tried to contact him, but to no avail. Needless to say, to have him call me at such an unexpected time was jarring. He sounded much more relaxed than last time we met, however. It seems he’s come to terms with what I plan on doing. He offered me an ultimatum. He said that he would answer any of my questions so long as I swore to leave everything that had happened behind me and just return home. It was a tempting offer, to be sure. One I may have even agreed to had he posed it when we first met. But I’ve come too far to let things be solved so simply. I needed to find the answer for myself, because that drive was all I had to live for anymore. Once he understood this, there was a long silence. He said, with a very noticeable hint of sadness in his voice, that he was afraid I would say something like that. He finished briefly by saying that a package would be arriving for me shortly. Just earlier today, I received the package he mentioned. My Mother’s journal. He included a note saying that the journal probably wouldn’t answer any of my questions, but may help me understand why my Mother did the things she did. I’ve already read through it, and can say it neither answers my questions nor helps me to gleam any further understanding of why this has happened. But… I’m glad I have it. If nothing else, it’s for purely sentimental reasons, yet I was still happy to read through it. I feel like it’s a part of mom that I still didn’t know about, a part that I can experience one more time. I can’t help but feel like she’s here, speaking to me through this book. She doesn’t mention anyone else, so maybe this is what she intended to happen. If she did this to try and make me feel better, I suppose it worked, if only for a little bit. I’ll read through it again and see if I missed anything. Entry #10, May 30th 03 AG As of this writing, I’ve read through the journal roughly seven times. Nothing’s gained any clarity at all. I’ll have to retire it as a possible source of information. First term graduation was a couple of days ago. I managed to pass most of my classes with little relative difficulty, which shouldn’t surprise me as I’ve heard the second terms are where prospective students are truly tested. The most difficult parts of these last three years have been ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- *The preceding statements are under level 3 restriction.* I can expect more of that in the coming months. But to be frank, that’s not what worries me. This profession is a team based endeavor. Our first term is intended to prepare us singularly, so that we can ultimately fend for ourselves. The second is meant to see how we function in a team centered environment, where we are evaluated for another three years based on our performance and ultimately relegated to pre-selected units that best coincide with our personalities. I’m not going to pretend like I’m a social person. I’m not exactly shy, nor do I despise the company of others, I just don’t like getting other people involved in my life at this point. I’m not sure how things will unravel in these next few years, but I can at least say that no matter what happens it won’t tarnish my determination. At the very least, I can take solace in knowing that. After the closing ceremony, I was approached by the headmaster. Apparently, word of my journaling got around these last few years. He asked if he could have a copy to put in regulation for the higher-ups in the educational system to study, and determine ways to improve their teaching methods. Word of my habit must have been inflated, as rumors often are. I don’t believe they understand yet that this journal is likely too bare to serve them any practical use. All the same, I didn’t hesitate to accept the offer. If anyone else can benefit from my work, I’m not just going to deny them. I suppose I should be more careful with personal information like this, but they informed me that anything too implicit would be edited. Even so, I doubt that much of this journal is anything worth hiding regardless. I’ll be sending them the journal shortly after this entry, as I see little use for it much longer. If the urge strikes me, I’ll find a new one and start chronicling my life beyond this point once I arrive at my second term academy. Entry # 11, May 31st 03 AG I can’t believe they did this. It’s sickening… I know she’s been having trouble coping with what’s happened, but this isn’t the answer. I don’t care if it’s working. I have to stop this. *The remainder of the journal is empty. The Collaboration received this document roughly 2 weeks after the final entry was recorded. The student Alexander was recorded as registering in our advanced courses as planned the following semester. It is unknown what transpired following this entry.*
  16. Hello, I am new to this site and hope I am posting this is the correct section. Just recently I had an idea for a new OC and I would like everyone's opinions to help make sure I am not making a mary-sue due to the backstory I have for her. This idea is still very fresh so I apologize if I do not have enough information to help form a solid opinion. My OC is from an original world that is taken by the heartless when she is about 9 years old. While most refugees end up in Traverse Town or a second world of my own creation, this character ends up at Olympus Coliseum, more specifically the outskirts of the playable area and near Medusa's Grove. This Medusa is based off of the one from the Animated Hercules series; a benevolent, lonely young gorgon around Herc's age who just wants friends. Basically my idea was for my OC to be brought up by Medusa and otherwise live a somewhat secluded life with her. They look out for one another and develop something of a sisterly bond. Now in the animated series, Medusa is given sunglasses that prevent her from turning mortals to stone when she looks at them. Whether or not the animated series canons are in the Kingdom Hearts story I ultimately got rid of the glasses (having them broken in a battle or something along those lines). I did this because I wanted to make it an important plot point to Medusa and my OC's relationship that Medusa can not look at her. This really builds up the trust between them and prevents my character from learning or really developing certain skills (such as reading and writing which she never learned on her home world). So my concern is that, even though Medusa is a minor character and non-existent in the Kingdom Hearts universe thus far- does it make my OC a Mary-Sue to basically be brought up by her? My character has no real influence to the canon story or plot of any of the Kingdom Hearts games, she's more a less just a character who goes with the flow of things and never really interacts with any of the major characters. Please share with me your thoughts and opinions, thank you.
  17. Before reading the story, read the prologue first, which is the link you see here. http://kh13.com/forum/topic/18431-the-keyblade-war/ Chapter One: A deadly darkness approaches Kain and Riku storm through the castle as they defeat Heartless after Heartless. They rush to retrieve the artifact before it falls to the hands of their foes. As they keep ascending the floors of the castle, they come upon a knight fighting to stay alive. Kain: Cecil! We shall aid you! Cecil: No, stand back. It's a trap! Riku: Damn, wha-, what are these things!? Kain: Such strange creatures. I can't move! Suddenly, a hooded man appears before them coming from a dark portal. Mysterious Figure: Well, well, well. What do we have here? I expect to find poor resistance and yet I find three formidable warriors. Hmph, at least you three will suit as my puppets, commandering my creatures, the Unborn. Cecil: The Unborn!? Mysterious Figure: Yes, Unborn are creatures born out of the purest of twisted souls. These beings can destroy Heartless in the blink of an eye. Hahaha, prepare to be enslaved. All of a sudden, one of the Unborn falls instantly dead on the ground. The rest of the Unborn look around to see what is happening. Then, a quick flash of darkness kills twenty more. Kain: What was that!? Cecil: Whatever it was, it freed us. Let's finish them all off! Riku: Dark Firaga! Kain: Sky Rave! Cecil: Paladin Force! Mysterious Figure: NO! It cannot be!!! One by the one, the Unborn fall by the hands of the warriors. But more keep coming as each one falls. Voice:Let me handle this! Riku: Huh!? Who is that!? Then, out of thin air, another hooded man appears with dark aura eminating from him. Hooded Man: Dark Reaper! The hooded man is so fast that Riku, Kain and Cecil can barely see him. Hooded Man: Go, you must get the artifact. Heeding his words, the warriors rush to retrieve the artifact. Mysterious Figure: It can't be! I saw you die before my very eyes! How are you alive, Dexeres!? Dexeres: You look so surprised. The look on your face is priceless. Let's settle this. Now tell me, why is this happening? You must have broken the balance between the worlds! Mysterious Figure: Hmph. How right you are. The worlds's chains have been broken, and now my army of darkness shall destroy everything until I obtain Kingdom Hearts! Dexeres: No! I will stop you! Meanwhile, Riku, Kain and Cecil finally obtain the powerfull artifact. Kain: Wait, I sense something. Then, in the blink of an eye, a giant Unborn appears before them, blocking their exit. Cecil: We must defeat this creature. Riku: Right! The new threat has emerged, the three warriors have finally retrieved the artifact, and the mysterious figure confronts Dexeres. What will happen next? Stay tuned for Chapter Two: Escape from Baron...
  18. I wrote this based on a old man I met a long time ago. He's probably long gone now, but maybe he's happy, who knows. This old man was gay, so yes, there is a gay couple in it, so get over it. ---- “You just… No! I can’t-“ Jason stared at him, waiting for Laurence to finish his sentence. His ocean eyes, seemingly innocent, staring back longing for forgiveness. Laurence turned on his back. Usually the bed would feel heavenly, but tonight, it felt like cardboard. “You… make me really upset sometimes. Sometimes, I just want to slap you upside the face, and never speak to you again.” He finished. Jason wrapped his arms around Laurence, who quickly pushed them back. “ I don’t want… ergh, this is all so annoying.” Jason jumped to position himself the same as Laurence had. Both, lying silently on their backs, looking up at the blank drywall. “But… you also make me want to hold you and never let go.” Laurence continued his ranting. He rustled in bed until he was on his side once more, and laid his head on Jason’s chest. Closing his eyes, Laurence tried to rest. “That’s why I hate you so much. You make me so mad, but it never lasts long. In the end, I just want to be with you again. “ Laurence waited for Jason to respond. Minutes passed, and Laurence waited still. Waiting, Waiting, but nothing seems to happen, no answer to his remarks. He opened his eyes. Resting on his empty bed, Laurence shivered. He grabbed his comforter and cloaked himself in it. “I hate you…” He sobbed. “Why did you have to go?” He looked up to the glowing blue hue of his alarm clock, sitting next to an old picture frame, sullied by time and clumsiness. “Seven A.M.” he sighed, “any minute now.” The door swung open. A woman with bright red hair and dark brown eyes walked in, wearing a long white gown. “Good morning, Mr. Tate. Are you ready to put your dentures in? Breakfast is waiting.” She spoke with a light voice, seemingly mocking him. He refused to move. All he wanted to do was stare at his picture frame. The woman sighed. It seemed nothing she could do, could get this old man talking again. She placed her hand on his lower back, and raised him from the bed. As she dressed and kept him, others outside stirred with great ruckus. The woman placed Mr. Tate in his wheelchair, and turned him towards his favorite window. She looked at the weary frame and sighed. She picked it up, and placed in on the ledge for Mr. Tate. She spoke one last time before she left the room. “Happy Birthday, Jason.”----I kinda felt bad for this old man. He was never able to get over someone he had lost years back, even in his last few days. He probably struggled hard to keep him too, seeing as the laws back then wouldn't allow him to be the way he wanted. When he lost him after trying so hard to keep him, he never really felt the same, I don't think. He never told me how he died, or what had happened. Also, I changed the names obviously.
  19. So, this was written by me and a friend, with a music video in mind to go along with it. I'll put [These] to point on some things planned in the music video anyways. [Late night, London. 20. Am I literally writing this as I go so ....yeah, here it is. Have you ever been insulted, which resulted, into a polluted, world of distortion and destruction? This is my reaction to a resolution, a revolution! To seize the wars and close the doors to help the world's, boys and girls. To repent and no longer resent what we have become and what is to come. One day the end of days shall come and we'll be done. And what do you have to show for yourself, what do we have left, is this it for us? Stuck on the crust and shadowed by the rust and dust? This can't be what we stand for, and before, you just ignore, or, even not, this world will rot. I don't wish to rap about sex and drugs but real shit and hugs. We need to change and it may seem strange but i must arrange a life without strife with out a knife stuck in our back like wrecked shack, back packed to the packed back, shit whack, like a wacky tic-tak; ticky- tacky, tocky, tick- tock struck rung the clock lets rock! The end of time for such a wicked rhyme to express our crime and this time that we need to finally walk the line and begin to climb to the top of the pot and stop and pop open an op-peration to mop up the mess we made and stray from the past our fathers have made and follow me and make a new. Be the few to make your own path and end the wrath,so you do the math. What will you do? just be true, do you. Tell me what you think!

  22. A man walks through a forest, until he reaches a clearing in the middle. He finds a golden harp as tall as he is, with a golden head emblazoned upon it. As the man approaches the harp, the mouth on the head of the harp opens, and speaks, "Tell me, why have you traveled here?" The man responds, "I have wandered throughout many lands, just to find you. I have heard tales of the advice that you give. My kingdom is in trouble, so I decided I needed your council." The harp replies, "Very well. I shall give you my advice, without even hearing your problem. My advice is: The sky is green!" The man responds, "What do you mean green? The sky is clearly blue!" He says, pointing to the sky, forgetting that the harp doesn't have eyes. The harp responds, "Are you calling me a... lyre?"

  24. ( I haven't posted anything I actually freaking FINISHED, but this is already done: 13 chapters only, though, pretty straight forward plot, and not a ton of characters. Rated 17 for language, blood, action, and mild boy on boy insinuation And I'd REALLY like feedback, because I think it's pretty good, and pretty much original in plot and all. ) 1: Angel I awoke, blinking in the harsh light, my back aching from having had slept oh so wrongly on it last night. Last night.... Pretty hazy, best not to really think of it probably. I stood, stretching, then winced at the pressure on my wrist, the ace bandage only really doing so much for a shattered bone. Hey: punching the firetruck out of a guy roughly the size of The Rock'll do that, but I heal fast, faster than normal. You'll see what I mean later. I walked to the edge of the low slung cave, ducking under the entrance's overhang to watch the sun rise up over the valley below. I grinned, and stepped off the ledge, air rushing past me, as my wings unfurled, catching the air and drifting me upwards towards the new light like a comment shot into orbit. Life was good.
