  1. DISCLAIMER: The events and worlds within this story are non-canon, as this is an imagined view of Kairi & Lea's Keyblade training. This is only a fan work. The Story So Far: Kairi and Lea are undergoing the last leg of their training under the three fairies. All that's left for them to do is to put their skills to the test in another Realm of Sleep. Master Xehanort, however, plans to interfere once more, and dispatches a reawakened Vanitas and Saïx to the same realm. World List: Radiant Garden, Ohana Paradise (Lilo & Stitch), The Secret World (Arrietty), Zootopia, Wonderland (2010 ver.), Sugar Rush (Wreck-it Ralph), Castle Oblivion The fairy in green, Fauna cleared her throat and spoke up. "The two of you have made great progress. I believe it's time to test your abilities." Kairi tilted her head in confusion. "We're this far already? I feel like things are going too quickly." Lea laughed. "The faster the better, Kairi! Alright, what's the test?" Flora, the red fairy, paused for a moment... and then decided to speak. "Your test will be in the Realm of Sleep." "Realm of Sleep?" Kairi looked confused. "Like Sora and Riku's mastery exam, right?" Lea raised an eyebrow. "This ought to be easy." Merryweather quickly spoke up. "This is a different realm of sleep: The worlds in which you will awaken have yet to exist. In this test, you must bring these worlds to their birth by locking their keyhole, which, in turn, will bring the world into existence." "I'm still confused. When are we to start, and is there a bed in here? How do we initiate it?" The three good fairies smiled, and sleeping pods much like the ones in Castle Oblivion appeared. They were styled differently; one was styled like a raindrop for Kairi, and the other, a flame for Lea. "Enter the pod, and your test will begin." Flora waved her wand, and the pods opened up to allow entry. The two new wielders stepped inside their respective pod, and fell into slumber.
  2. Here goes nothing! Part 1 Ever since I was a child, I always dreamed of exploring the Hawaiian Islands with my own two eyes. I’ve seen them on TV, but you’ll get a completely different experience if you explore them. This is the main reason why my friend named Mark decided we’re going to explore the Hawaiian Islands in the summer. My buddy planned most of it though. The hot, blistering sun was looking down at Mark, who was driving the boat and I, giving us placid weather today. The soft strokes of wind created by the boat’s constant movements felt very soothing. While looking up at the bright, blue sky, I started to reflect on myself. My full name is John Neman and I love exploring new islands, even if they were already explored or not. I’m the type of person that would try to explore as many islands as possible before the I pass out due to lack of sleep. After I stood there for a few more minutes I turned toward Mark and started reflecting on him, in my mind of course. His full name is Mark Dallas. Coincidentally named after the city of Dallas, Texas in the United States. Mark is the kind of person who is very selfish less. One day, he donated a ton of blood to a very sick kid who was on the verge of death and donated so much that he passed out upon existing the hospital. He had to stay in the hospital for a few days despite his condition not being life threatening. I guess the doctors didn’t want him to push himself too hard. Despite his seem to be perfect personality, he does have some flaws. For example, he puts all the blame on myself when he’s in a very stressful situation. Even if he didn’t cause the an accident or not, he would still blame himself. I find that kind of ironic, since he’s done a lot of good things for people. He has done good things not just in the United States, but worldwide. From organ donations to charity streams via twitch to food bank donations. He should be feeling good for just being himself because he is a very good person at heart. When I breathed in and out slowly, I came back to reality and he looked at me said, “How do you like the vacation so far, John?” I quickly said “ I love it so far man! We still have a couple of islands to explore tomorrow!” “Yes, I’m looking forward to it too.” I looked at Mark with a serious look and said, “Mark, aren’t you supposed to pay attention to the road while driving?” Mark sighed and said “You mean ocean John , because I don’t see any roads in the middle of the ocean!” “Yes, that’s what I meant. That word came out of my mouth instead of ocean.” “Well anyways, I’m going to steer this boat until midnight.” Mark turned his head towards me and stared at me for a few brief moments and said, “Hey John, how long did you spend exploring the islands today?” I smiled and said, “I stayed up until 11 o clock at night to take in all of nature’s glory!” “Isn’t that overdoing it a bit John? Why don’t you take a nap in the boat’s cabin?” “Why should I?” “because you barely got enough sleep last night. Now getting enough sleep isn’t healthy you know.” “Okay, if you say so.” I slowly walked toward the door of the boat. When I was about to turn the knob Mark said, “When the sunsets, we’ll head to a port in Kahului, Hawaii island and spend the night there. Are you fine with that, John?” I nodded and said, “Of course, I am! Whatever floats your boat Mark my bud. Now, let me go to bed because I’m feeling a little worn out from yesterday’s activities.” When I opened the door to the boat’s interior, Mark quickly said, “Before you go to bed John, could you tell me what the weather’s going to be for tonight?” “No can do man. I didn’t check the weather the day we went out to sea. Sorry man” “It’s okay dude. I’m sure the weather will cooperate for days to come!” I soon entered the interior of the boat and closed the door behind me. While walking to my bed, I slowly recalled what I said to Mark only seconds earlier. I actually lied to him because I didn’t feel like talking about the weather when I’m half sleepy. The truth is that there is a tropical wave in the Pacific Ocean that is forecasted to be a category 5 hurricane, or should I say, typhoon by midnight tonight, but it’s forecasted to avoid the Hawaiian island by turning to the west. I remember before the news broadcast ended yesterday night that there was the chance the possible cat 5 typhoons could head straight towards the island we planned on staying for the night. Most weather models agree with the latter, but near the end of the newscast the person in charge of forecasting the weather in the Hawaii area said there was a slim chance the possible cat 5 storm would head straight towards the state. When I got into my room and immediately jumped into my bed and tried my best to go to sleep. While doing the latter, I started thinking of what I have don’t to get to where I am now. Now that I think about it, Mark was the only person in high school that would help me get above average grades in high school. He constantly said “I know you can do well in school John! If I can get A’s and B’s you can get A’s and B’s as well.” What he said struck true. I managed to get above average grades and got a 4.0 by the time I completed high school. I was very proud of myself and Mark too was proud as well. I suddenly stopped thinking about the past ad slowly started to fall asleep until I was completely unaware of my surroundings. I suddenly came to when a bolt of lightning woke me up. It startled the heck out of me so much that I feel out of my bed and a few moments after I fell I looked out of the window. I saw rain pounding down on the ship and wind blowing around in every direction I can see. When I made my way out of the boat I was forced right back down on my feet by a wave that crashed onto the boat from the rear side. That quickly woke me up to reality. I wasn’t dreaming at all. It was actually happening. Damn it, I should have told Mark that we should have went o Kahului since the possible, no, THE category 5 hurricane or should I say typhoon, didn’t turn at all and went straight north. After being lost in thought for a few minutes I rushed towards the boat’s exterior assuming Mark was still outside and saw waves constantly crashing on the boat. The wind was howling so much that I had to hold onto a rail to keep my balance. It wasn’t long until I became soaking wet. I slowly looked upwards until I saw Mark, griping the wheel of the boat. He was soaking wet too, just like me and was trying his best to steer the boat to safety. Shortly afterwards I shouted “Hey mark! Come inside! We have the risk of falling off if you stay outside.” “No can do John. I have to steer this ship to safety. If I don’t do anything I risk sinking the ship due to the huge wave.” I sighed agitatedly and said, “Listen to me Mark! You’ll likely die if you don’t go inside!” “Is it really all that safer inside the ship then outside? Besides, as far as I know, water could get into the ship thus flooding it from the inside.” My body filled up with rage and my arm curved into the ball and moved straight towards Mark. Luckily for him, a wave hit the ship’s rear area again and it flung me off of the boat entirely. When my mind gained its senses a few seconds later I was in the verge of falling into the water when Mark, despite me trying to knock some sense into him, tried to save me. He pulled his right arm towards me while holding on to the guard rail located on the perimeter of the boat. For a split second his finger touched my finger and in a blink of an eye, I vanished into the deep, dark ocean before Mark shouted “John, no!” to me. Part 2 The Island When I came to, I was laying on a sandy beach with the blistering sun straight above me. This made me assume it was a little part 12 twelve because the sun is always at its highest peak a a little before and after noon. I soon sat up and looked around the area. Some sort of forest was behind me. The ocean, which I nearly drowned in, was facing in my direction. I got off my feet and yield for help, but nobody responded. Soon afterwards, I yield my friend’s name. “Mark Mark! I’m over here!” I yield at the top of my lungs and yet again nobody answered. I looked down to the ground in lament and a moment later noticed a map between my feet. I picked the map up and said to myself, “I wonder if there are people on this island or there WERE people on this island.” I carefully examined the map to see where I was, but before I found my location, I found myself looking at a very bizarre island. The map looked worn down like it had been there for a while. The island is shaped like a donut with several defining features. The coastline is surrounded by ocean. A mile or two inland there appears to be a rain forest. It surrounds a lake that’s in the center of the island. The lake itself is called hole lake. It’s pretty accurate, considering there’s a hole filled with water in the middle of the island. When I was done examining the map, I began folding the map and while doing so, I noticed a secret message behind the map. “Do NOT go to the center of the island to get the treasure beneath the lake. It WILL ruin your life until the day you die.” I started shaking all over my body, scared that it might be true. I said to myself, “This has to be a joke. Yes, it has to be!” I encouraged myself to think the message wasn’t real and said to myself, I’m going to find that treasure no matter what!” All of a sudden, my stomach started growling. “Guess I need to find something to eat, or I really will not be able to find my friend and the so-called treasure.” I slowly walked to a coconut tree, exhausted from the lack of food and water in the last day or so. I was so hungry I would’ve eaten anything that seemed edible. When I looked into the waters of the pacific, I seen a few fish swimming near the shoreline. I immediately broke a branch from a coconut tree and began cutting the wood until it was shaped like a spear. Soon I went into the shallow shoreline and slowly approached the fishes. When I was in the perfect place, I quickly threw the sear into the murky water and go three fishes in a row. I was happy to know I finally got something to eat Upon swallowing my first bite of fish, I began choking up the food and choked it out. “Guess this is what I get for trying to eat first before drinking something. “I looked at the coconut tree again and noticed one coconut hanging on a low-lying branch. It seemed reachable, so I put my fish down on the tree and began climbing it. I soon removed the coconut and not long afterwards a swarm of bees from a beehive near me started stinging the daylights out of me. I immediate let go of the coconut and ran for my life. When things settled down, I looked at the bee stings on my body then looked around the area. Upon searching the area, I noticed a wooden house at the edge of the rainforest. It was on top pf a cliff and the cliff was facing towards me. With interest, I walked closer to the cliff and quickly noticed a path of stars leading to the house. “Looks like I found a safe haven! “Upon taking my first few steps, I got surprised by a sudden roar from behind me. I slowly turned my head around and saw a bear, hungry and ready to eat me at any time. I turned my whole body around and walked the steps backwards to keep a close eye on the beat. When it growled at me again I turned 180 degrees and started running up the stairs as fast as I could. While running for my life I hear the footsteps of the beast following me and I quickly thought, “It this the end for me? Am I going to die without seeing my friend ever again?” My mind turned toward relieve when I was close to the house. I immediately opened the door and closed it in an instant. I used my body to prevent the monster from getting inside. It started hitting the door for a minute or so even though it felt like an eternity. Eventually the pounding on the door stopped and I sighed of relief. I closed my eyes for a few seconds than opened them again to examine the house itself. The house itself is a square with four windows in each direction. The minute I noticed a refrigerator I began feeling very hungry. I opened the refrigerator and saw about a year’s worth of food. I was in awe at how much good and water ere in the refrigerator. I quickly took out a bag of chip, cookies and a bottle of water and started indulging myself. Upon eating the last cookie, I heard the door knob turning. I quickly jumped into the bed and covered myself with its cover. A second later I hear the door opening and I was very scared for my life. I was hoping I would never get spotted. That thought lasted for a few minutes then suddenly, I felt the cover getting pulled from me then in a blink of an eye, saw a man in his 30’s looking at me with a very upset, serious face. Before I could say anything, the man said angrily, “Who the hell are you and how did you get in my house? Nobody’s supposed to be on this island except for me! Now get off my bed now and leave now!” But sir I-“ “No buts! When I say get out, mean get the hell out!” As soon as those words ran through his mouth I ran for the door and when I opened it, I was for a surprise! The man suddenly pushed me out of the house and I ended up falling off the cliff from the forest side. Before I fell unconscious, I hear the man say, “That’s what you get for being on my…” My mind went into complete silence and I lost complete awareness of where I was.
  3. Hey guys! I decided to share my work with you. To cut things short, I like to draw... but it happens only once in a few months. So I don't have much material of drawings right now. But the ''good'' thing is that I failed my exam on monday So I have now enough time to draw, write or work on KH related stuff For the beginning... have a look at my wooden Starlight Keyblade! I made this on a whim last summer. Took a big plate of wood and painted a Keyblade on it. So it isn't real balanced, the grip for example. But for my first time working with that kind of stuff I did real good. You can watch the progress on the pictures below. (Nevermind the trainstation plan in the background... haha) You can even see the transitions for sticking together, I used wood mastic(or how its called) to hide them. It is quite heavy, around 2,5kg/5.51lbs - I can lift it with one hand... but swinging around takes both. This is one of my characters from my planned KH Story ''Point -255''. He is called Master Iustus and uses light and darkness as well. Like a scale, he thinks it must be in balance to exist - There is no ''pure'' evil. It depends on the person who does it. Currently under revise, got some new ideas for him. If someone could help me to translate it into English? I would appreciate that! Another picture of Iustus. I tried a more realistic style like from JoJo's bizarre Adventure. But it always merges with such a comical structure... and I am never satisfied with that. What I like is his outfit changing more and more. The first sketch of him was a catastrophe! But still funny how he evolved. Never meant to play a bigger role in my story, so is he now quite important against the villain (a dark version of my KHx Avatar but not just copy/paste) Feedback and stuff welcome!
  4. Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! May God bless each and every one of you, and may you have a wonderful year to look forward to, with unlimited possibilities! 2017 is going to be a good year, I can feel it! So then, with a new year, I’ve decided to post a new story! I’ve had this story on my mind for quite some time now! Heck, I’ve had this story in my mind since I was writing the Keyblade War Trilogy, particularly around the beginning of Chapter III: Beauty Of Apocalypse! Back then, I thought of a cool concept, and then I played around with it, eventually imagining up more characters and an interesting background for them to dwell in, and well, here we are, with my new story! Obviously, it’s a non-KH story, like Seeing The World With Brand New Eyes and A Reason To Fight, which were two stories I wrote that are also not related to Kingdom Hearts! This is an original story, with characters and everything else all created by me, ya know? Anyways, enough talking! Let’s get this show on the road! I hope you’ll all enjoy this new story! Prologue: The Messenger “Where is he?” a voice asked. A soldier, well clad and with spear in hand, turned around at the sound of the voice, and faced the man asking the question. “I’m not sure. He left quite a while ago.” the soldier answered. The other soldier groaned uncomfortably. “I don’t like this, Kren…he’s been gone for too long now! He was supposed to come back two hours ago!” the other soldier replied. Kren looked up at the moon thoughtfully, and he gave out a sigh. “You’re right, Grim. It is kind of puzzling that Nero hasn’t returned…maybe he got delayed?” Kren suggested. Grim shook his head. “I think more along the lines of an ambush. I’ve heard rumor that the Craftsmen have been going on the defensive lately, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they attacked one of our own!” Grim thought aloud. “Perish the thought! True, the Craftsmen may be aggressive, but accusing them in such a way would be taking things too far…let’s just wait. I’m sure Nero will be back any moment now!” Kren said, trying to reassure his friend. Grim hesitated a bit, but then sat down on the ground. “For both our sakes, let’s hope Nero appears soon…” Grim said. Kren nodded, but shortly afterwards, they heard a sound! They both quickly took on their battle stances, with Kren holding his spear tightly and Grim drawing his sword from his sheathe! “What was that!?” Grim asked. Kren noticed something moving a little bit north from them, and he pointed towards the trees! “There! I see it! Prepare to attack!” Kren commanded, but as they prepared to attack, they saw a young armored man, walking groggily, his armor all shredded and bashed! “Good graces, it’s Nero!” Grim exclaimed, and he ran quickly towards the weakened Nero! Kren accompanied him, but kept his spear in hand, just in case there was someone else lurking nearby! “Good graces, my boy, what happened to you?” Grim asked, holding Nero’s head. The young man coughed up blood! He seemed to be fatally injured! “I…I saw him…I saw him!” Nero gasped, his eyes ablaze with terror! “Who, Nero? Who!?” Kren asked, looking down at the young man. Nero shifted his eyes towards Kren, tears forming as he tried to sit up. “T-the Wraith…he told me…to bear a message…to lady Ilia…” Nero answered. At that, Nero and Grim looked at each other with great worry. (Start Song Here) “Don’t worry, my friend. We’ll get you back to Lightbloom posthaste!” Grim said. But before he could pick up Nero, something came out of the trees and attacked! Luckily, Kren, who had been at the ready, managed to block whatever was attacking them, and flung it back! “Back away, beast!” Kren shouted! “We can’t stay here! If Nero remains here any longer, he’ll bleed out to death! We have to leave now!” Grim exclaimed worriedly! “I’m on it!” Kren said! Inspecting the creature closely, he noticed that it was one covered in shadow. It had flashing red eyes, and bore long, scrawny arms with razor sharp clawed hands! The creature hissed, and Kren felt a bit uneasy! But then, he closed his eyes and clasped his hands together! “By the grace of land and grace of life, come to me, and give me protection!” Kren said aloud, and with those words uttered, giant roots rose from the ground, and impaled the dark creature, causing it to shriek in pain! The creature was pinned to a boulder, the roots keeping it in place! Confident that the creature was now restrained, Kren looked back at Grim, and then ran to his side! “Right, the creature is trapped, we have to leave now!” Kren urged! “Right!” Grim nodded, and with that, he closed his eyes and held his right hand upwards! “Eluzia! Come and grant us safe passage!” he shouted! Within seconds, a creature that resembled a giant wolf, but apparently made completely out of tree wood, came to Grim, and it growled softly, noticing the dark creature’s presence! “Come on boy, take us to lady Ilia!” Grim commanded as he and Kren mounted Nero and then themselves onto the wolf! He howled and then started to sprint as fast as he could! (End Song Here) --- (Start Song Here) Meanwhile, Ilia, the one whom Nero was to relay the Wraith’s message to, was looking calmly at her garden. She had a variety of plants and exotic looking flowers. It looked like paradise, and the flowers gave off an alluring and peaceful essence to the air. After a busy day, Ilia liked to simply stand there, contemplating her garden and taking in the scent of the flowers. It brought her peace. After all, being the leader of the Lifespring Clan was no easy task. Ensuring the prosperity of her people, keeping good relations with neighboring clans, attending to matters that concerned the well being of the world definitely took their toll on her. And yet, despite all this, Ilia was always a calm and kind person. Many people respected her. She was a person that many looked up to. She appreciated the praise, but thought it unnecessary. Which is another reason she loved to be in her garden. She could get away from the noise of people. She reached out to touch a beautiful looking rose, when she felt someone come into the garden. She glanced back and sighed. “What is it, Oracle? Can’t you see I’m contemplating my flowers?” she asked, ever calmly. The Oracle, a man who wore a white cloak that concealed his face, simply bowed and crossed his arms. “Apologies, lady Ilia. I merely came here to accompany you, as it were.” he stated. “I see. Then tell me, what do you wish to discuss?” she asked. The Oracle simply chuckled and walked to her side. “My lady, you always see right through me. Anyways, I know that right now you are enjoying your private time, but there is something of importance to discuss…” he started. “Yes? What is it?” she asked. “It concerns tomorrow’s meeting. The heads of the clans will be there, as usual, but I’ve heard rumor from our Everbloom Knights that tension will probably ride high. Particularly when it comes to the Scorched Clan.” the Oracle explained. Ilia looked at one of her plants and sighed. “I see…well, I’ll be sure to be ready. In any case, I will do my best to keep the peace in the council room.” she said, as she turned to the Oracle. (End Song Here) (Start Song Here) “Indeed. Let’s hope tomorrow goes by without—“ the Oracle began to say, when the doors to Ilia’s garden smashed open! Through them, Kren and Grim came, carrying a bloodied Nero! Ilia’s eyes opened wide and she quickly went to Nero’s side, while the Oracle remained where he was. She knelt beside Nero, while Kren and Grim knelt across from her. “What is the meaning of this!?” she demanded! “My lady, Nero came to us like this…he said something about a message from the Wraith!” Kren explained! At that, Ilia’s expression grew worrisome, and she looked at Nero. “What is it, boy? What message could possibly be so vile as to leave you in this condition?” she asked. Nero, coughing up blood, struggled to lift himself up. But when he did, he went towards Ilia’s ear and told her what he could. Kren and Grim didn’t know what was being said, but they knew it was something bad. The look on Ilia’s face alone guaranteed it! “The Wraith…? Hmm, what troublesome times indeed. The Council will have a hoot tomorrow…” the Oracle mumbled to himself. (End Song Here) ------------------------------------------ What is this mysterious message that Nero needed to deliver to Ilia? Who is this Wraith? What troubles lie ahead? Is all this an ill omen of things to come? Stay tuned for Chapter One: “A Troublesome Affair!” So yeah, that was the prologue! I hope that you all enjoyed it! So then, as is customary with my stories, this story will be fifty chapters long! I hope you’ll enjoy what I have in store, I promise it’ll be good! I’d tell you more about the story, but I don’t want to spoil, so I’ll just let the chapters speak for themselves! The first chapter alone will have a bit of insight on the state of things! So anyways, I’ll appreciate your support! Thanks for reading, and until next time, stay tuned for the next chapter!
  5. Hello everyone! Here comes my submission for the KH2.8 giveaway. It's actually the first Kingdom Hearts fanfiction I have ever written (but not the first fanfic in general), so I'm still kinda unsure about the characterization. Still, I hope you enjoy! ____________ Title: Two who finally meet again Summary/Excerpt: With a start Aqua pried her eyes open, but the brightness was too harsh, too unfamiliar, and she quickly pressed her eyelids back together, throwing her arm over her head to shield her eyes further with her sleeves. Still, it had been enough to send her mind reeling and the reeling intensified when she suddenly felt someone's light approaching her. It wasn't some ordinary person's light, though. It was bright and strong, strong enough to soothe the soreness in her muscles and bright enough to further nourish the light that had just been reignited inside of her. In addition to that, it was strangely familiar. Stronger than she had ever seen it, with a barely detectable trace of darkness wedged deep inside of it, but part of it was so distinctly... Ven. Rating: K/General Word count: 3355 Crossposted to ff.net/ao3 (Probably nicer to read there with the formatting) ____________ It had been hours, maybe days since the last heartless had attacked. It made Aqua nervous. Usually, every now and then at least a small shadow heartless popped up out of nowhere, acting as a constant reminder of where she was – as if she needed to be reminded of that. But everything had been quiet for a while and she wasn't sure whether she simply wandered into a less populated place... or something worse was waiting ahead. Yet, she followed the dimly lit path in front of her and after what felt like another couple of hours, the scenery slowly changed. The dirt tracks had turned into rough sand and a dark gray ocean had started to appear along the horizon. Tranquility started to wash over her at the sight of her element and she hurried her steps, eager to get closer to the waves before she saw a figure in the distance. A figure clad in a black cloak. Aqua stopped immediately, gauging the situation. The figure in front of her seemed to move very subtly and smoothly, not jerky and aggravated as the heartless tended to move. And while she felt darkness inside the figure, she also felt a faint light, something the heartless distinctly lacked. Her heart sped up as she started walking again. Another being from the Realm of Light?! The figure was quite tall and their back faced Aqua as they sat on one of the rocks that were situated on the beach. Aqua slowly stepped to his side, eying him before she spoke up. “Who are you?” A soft grunt escaped the figure before they turned to Aqua, their face concealed by their hood. “Why, hello,” a male voice answered her. “It’s not often I get visitors.” Not often? How long had he been here? “Please, call me Aqua. Why are you sitting here all alone in the Realm of Darkness? How did you end up here?” “Well...,” he replied, turning his head back to the ocean. There was a source of light in the distance, glowing in a faint, cold blue that illuminated the beach. “I can tell you this is my second time on these shores. But unfortunately much like the first, I do not remember who I am or whence I came. Everything was washed away in whatever currents carried me here.” “That’s too bad,” Aqua answered with a hint of regret as she dropped her glance. She, too, turned to the light now – any light helped in the perpetual darkness, no matter how cold it was – and sat down on the sand. “I know I’ve been here a long time, wandering through the endless hours, unable to escape...” She drifted off, hugging her legs to her upper body. Maybe sitting down hadn't been the best idea after all as the cold now started to creep into her bones. “You wish to return to your own world?” Aqua closed her eyes and suppressed a tired sigh before she nodded. “It’s my friends. I promised I’d be there for them.“ “Your friends? Somewhere in the scraps of memory I have left, you remind me of a boy I once knew. He is very much like you – true to his friends, and kind. This boy travels to many worlds and fights to keep the light safe.” She shortly glanced at him and a frown crossed her forehead as she repeated his words. “'Keep the light safe?' I’ve been away too long. Did something happen out there? Are the worlds in danger?” “Sad to say, they nearly fell to darkness more than once. But at every turn that boy arrived with Keyblade in hand to save the day.” “Huh?” Boy? Keyblade? Her heart skipped a beat and she couldn't suppress the hopeful smile that made the corners of her mouth curl upwards as she leaned towards her companion. “Wait a sec. Is his name Terra or Ven?” A few seconds passed with her heart beating rapidly in her chest before the figure next to her slowly shook his head. “Neither of those, I’m afraid.” The little bit of hope she had managed to gather dissolved and with that, her body felt incredibly tired again. Sighing, she drew her legs back to her chest. wrapped her arms tightly around them and rested her head on her arms, her eyes turned to the ocean but not focusing on it. “Should’ve known...” “How long has it been since I met him? At least a year now, perhaps more... Back then, my heart was clouded with vengeance. I did terrible things... both to him and his friends. I brought unhappiness to more lives than one.” The man continued his tale and although she rather wanted to get lost in her own thoughts, Aqua turned back to him and listened. It was nice to listen to something else than her own voice or illusions and something about this stranger's voice felt very soothing. “I felt something must be done. Was that why? A means of clearing my conscience? Or perhaps, out of a sort of scholarly instinct? While the boy slept his long sleep, I hid the results of my research inside him, transplanting the data to where it might best serve a purpose. In fact, I would like to believe… Maybe he can set things right. A boy like him who touches so many hearts – he could open the right door, and save all those people whose lives I managed to ruin. So many are still waiting for their new beginning, their birth by sleep. Even me, and even you.” Something changed in her. A tiny flicker of hope started glimmering inside of her again and the ground felt a little less cold as she let go of her legs and turned her entire upper body to the man beside her. She looked up at him in anticipation; she didn't know why, but she knew that it was of utmost importance to know – “What’s this boy’s name?” “His name is… Sora.” The flicker turned into a burning flame and its warmth spread through her body, quenching the cold that had enveloped her. It fueled the light inside her heart that had grown weaker and weaker the longer she had stayed in the Dark Realm on her own, but now it had finally returned to its original glow. It was strong, beautiful, overwhelming, and she couldn't hold back a tiny sob and the tears that rolled down her cheeks as she turned back to face the light across the ocean. “Sora,” she repeated with a smile before closing her eyes. A heavy weight materialized in her right hand and to her surprise, Master's Defender had appeared, pulsating in her hand. Confused as to what was happening, she quietly rose from her sitting position and let the Keyblade guide her. She grasped the hilt with both of her hands and lifted the Keyblade until it pointed at the light in the distance. Light started to glow at the tip of the blade and immense power started to emanate from the blade, forcing Aqua to push against it and stand her ground, much like she had to when she transformed the Land of Departure. “Stand back,” she shouted over her shoulder at her companion, though she didn't dare to take her eyes off of the Keyblade, “I don't know what's about to–!” Her words got cut off as the light that Master's Defender emitted engulfed her and after another pulse of power through her entire being, she lost consciousness. ____________ The first sense that returned to Aqua was her hearing. She heard the waves of the ocean ripple against the beach, slow and rhythmic, lapping at the sand and retreating back into the deep waters. From the opposite direction, the sound of streaming water splashing down reached her ears, only interrupted by the occasional screech of a sea gull. A soft breeze blew against her skin, gently rocking her fringe and tickling her nose with a salinity high enough that made her twitch and roll her head to the side so her cheek rested on the smooth sand beneath her. A small sigh escaped her lips when a soft ray of warmth touched her face and different colors started dancing behind her eyelid. … Something was not right about that picture. There was no waterfall at the shore she had just reached. No animals lived in the Realm of Darkness, the wind was cold and harsh and the sand felt moist and rough. And most of all, the light was as cold as the sand and didn't make you see more than murky colors. With a start Aqua pried her eyes open, but the brightness was too harsh, too unfamiliar, and she quickly pressed her eyelids back together, throwing her arm over her head to shield her eyes further with her sleeves. Ven. “Woah, take it easy!” A male voice answered her. One, that was so close to but ultimately different from Ven's. Her heart sank again. “Are you okay? Do you want to sit up?” She nodded tiredly and a pair of hands carefully supported her back while she got into a sitting position and only let go of her when she seemed stable enough on her own. “Here,” She felt some kind of garment hit the crown of her head, “this will keep the sunlight away until your eyes adjust.” With shaking hands, she pulled what felt like a jacket over her head completely, trying to block out as much light as possible as she leaned forward to brace her upper body against her propped up legs. Only when her surroundings seemed to become considerably darker, she dared to open her eyes slowly. They burned and teared up, but she managed to open them against the dim interior of the jacket. She took a breath, about to thank the stranger, but it irritated her throat and she fell into a coughing fit. Someone patted her back as she convulsed and when her body grew too tired to continue heaving, she felt something hard and stringy being placed into her hands. “Water,” the voice – Aqua decided that it must have been the voice of a teenage boy – told her. She weakly nodded in appreciation before she carefully lifted the bowl to her lips and took a small gulp. It hurt as the water passed her throat, but the coolness soon started to soothe the burning pain and she started to drink the water a little more greedily. After quenching her thirst for the time being, she placed the coconut next to her before she dared to move the jacket a little. Immediately, everything turned harsher and brighter and she squinted her eyes close again. “Thank you,” Aqua finally managed to utter, her voice barely above a whisper. “It's nothing!” The teen answered her and she could nearly feel the grin that spread on his lips. “How are you feeling?” “... awful,” she answered truthfully and turned her head around, opening her eyes again. Colors started to seep into her vision. “But I'll manage. Where am I?” “You're on Destiny Islands! I was on my way back to my friends when I found an abandoned Keyblade in the sand. I picked it up and it started glowing, guiding me to the keyhole of this world. Before I knew it, it unlocked the keyhole and opened a passage to the Realm of Darkness. There I found you, lying unconscious on the ground, and Ansem the Wise who knelt beside you.” “Ansem the Wise? Is that the name of the man that was with me? Where is he?” She slowly tugged on the jacket on her head again, allowing her eyes to accommodate to the increasing intensity of the light. “Yes, that's his name. He is alright, he's just sleeping. He helped me carry you into the shadow of this tree, but the Realm of Darkness has tired him out a lot.” “I see,” she muttered and after a moment of consideration, she tugged the jacket off of her head. She still had to squint her eyes a little, but at least she could now look into the eyes of her savior. His eyes were deep blue, a shade that achingly looked like the perfect blend between the shades of Terra and Ven, and this trend continued in his hair that was caramel colored, too light for Terra's brown and too dark for Ven's blond. While definitely adolescent, he seemed slightly younger than herself, around Ven's age when she last saw him. Everything about him seemed strangely familiar, but she couldn't put a finger on it. “My name is Aqua,” she finally broke the silence that spread between them and laced her fingers together in her lap, “you mind telling me your name?” “Ah, sorry!” He uttered with a crooked grin and rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment before puffing out his chest and pointing at it with his thumb. “I'm Sora!” Aqua's smile faltered and the beating of her heart increased. It wasn't possible... was it? “Sora,” Aqua bit her lip and unlaced her hands to dig them into the sand, balling her fists in it, “do you – do you know a boy named Riku?” “Riku?” Sora repeated with a startled expression and for a second Aqua hoped that her mind was playing her tricks – “Of course I know him, he's my best friend!” It wasn't. She definitely had seen this boy before. He was a small child back then, maybe four years old, with unruly brown hair and big eyes. But she recognized him. His brown hair had lightened and his skin tanned, probably with exposure to the sun. His eyes had become narrower and richer in color and his jaw, once round and smooth had now sharpened, though not yet having developed the angle of a grown man. He couldn't be. But he was. “How old are you, Sora?” She saw the confusion spread across his face once again. “I'm about to turn 17 in a few weeks.” Seventeen. He had been a mere child when she last met him, shortly before she fell into the Realm of Darkness. She had spent thirteen years in the Realm of Darkness. It had been thirteen years since she had saved Terra with her armor, but ultimately sent someone way darker back into the wold. It also had been thirteen years since she had hidden Ven's body in the Land of Departure, ultimately condemning him to stay trapped until she returned to free him. Thirteen years. “H-Hey, it's okay! It'll be okay.” Aqua glanced up at a pair of concerned eyes. Only now did she realize that she had curled up into a tight ball, clutching her knees with a painful force to her chest as sobs wrecked her body and tears streamed down her face freely. Sora knelt in front of her, his arms halfway stretched out towards her, but he was unsure how to proceed. Finally, he settled on shrugging off his jacket once again and now draping it over Aqua's shoulders before he timidly placed a hand one one of them. She shook her head. “I've been gone for thirteen years.” She buried her head in her hands. “I failed them again. I failed them before and now I failed them again...” “My friend blamed himself a lot for failing us,” Sora suddenly started and moved to sit down next to Aqua, their shoulders touching. “A lot happened back then. He fell into darkness, but he pulled himself out of it. He didn't forgive himself for the longest time even though we did. We never even blamed him. But he blamed himself, and that's what kept him from healing. Don't keep yourself from healing.” As discreetly as she could, Aqua dried her eyes on her sleeves before she turned her head towards Sora, seeing that he had turned his head away to give her that privacy and she was very thankful for that. “Did he heal by now?” “He still has his odd moments,” Sora answered truthfully, with a small grin, “but yeah, he did. He does need a constant reminder that we trust and love him, though. And your friends surely love you, too.” Aqua sighed and rested her forehead on her crossed arms. “Ven is trapped in our old home land and Terra... he succumbed to the darkness. I saved him from falling into the Realm of Darkness, but I have no idea whether he returned to the light or not.” “Then we'll just have to help you rescue both of them! If Riku returned from the darkness, why wouldn't Terra be able to do it?” At that mention, Aqua's head shot up and she turned to Sora with wide eyes. “Riku succumbed to the darkness?” “And overcame it on his own. Mostly.” Aqua turned away again and let her gaze fall to the sand in front of her. Was it destiny that Terra's inheritor succumbed to darkness just as Terra had? But then again – if Riku could overcome it... wasn't Terra able to do it, too? She buried her head in her arms again. Back before she fell into the Dark Realm, she would have immediately answered Yes, of course!, without a second of doubt. But now? She didn't know where he was or if he was even alive anymore. She balled one hand into a fist and dropped the other one down to her pocket, tracing the edge of the wayfinder that rested in it with her fingers. No, she knew. Terra was strong, he wasn't dead. He either defeated the darkness or was still fighting. There was no other possibility. “Aqua?” The young woman looked up again. “I mean it. You're not alone in this.” Sora crossed his arms dramatically and grinned at her. “I'm with you. And I've got powerful friends that will help, too. Kairi, Lea, Riku's even a Keyblade Master! And so is King Mickey. We can't fail with so many friends on our side!” “Riku is a Keyblade Master?” Aqua placed her hand over her heart in surprise and Sora nodded away cheerfully. “Yeah! He passed with flying colors!” The corners of her lips curled up slightly as she regarded the teen. “And Mickey is alright, too?” “We'd be in deep trouble without His Majesty and Master Yen Sid, that's for sure!” A small chuckle escaped Aqua and Sora clapped his hands in excitement. “There we go! We can't start our journey with a sad face, you know?” To avoid a happy sob, Aqua refrained from answering Sora, simply flashing him another smile before she closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, reveling in the light that shone so brightly in that boy's heart. That's when she remembered Ansem's words. A boy like him who touches so many hearts. She gasped. That was why his light was so unnaturally strong and so awfully familiar. His heart had touched Ven's heart. It was Ven's light that shone so brightly from within him! This was where Ven's heart chose to rest. And maybe many other hearts, too. Without a warning, the young woman enveloped Sora in a tight hug. She felt a telltale heat spread into the cheek that was pressed against her collar bone and felt his arms awkwardly flail behind her back, unsure how to handle the situation, but she only hugged him tighter. He gave her so much hope. For herself, for Terra, for Ven, for the worlds. “Thank you, Sora. For everything.”
  6. The curse of being one of the Princesses of heart, is that there always someone out to get you. As Xemnas looked failure in the face, he reached out in a last ditch effort and destroyed Kairi's heart. Now her friends must travel the worlds again. Sora, to find a way to recover Kairi's heart, and Riku, to make amends to those he has wronged. All the while, the darkness grows. I've been wanting to write this fanfic for forever, and I finally have some chapters to show for it. I know fanfiction isn't something that people really do for fun anymore, but here mine is. I wanted to create something original, and by what's on FF.net, I think I have. So, I hope everyone enjoys! 8. It's funny that I was talking about a Live-action Kingdom Hearts movie as I made a sorta draft script for it! It's sorta different from what I had in mind in my forum post, but I remembered I had it this morning and I figured I would share it! This is just a small bit of it. https://www.wattpad.com/myworks/88827644-desolation
  9. So! Movie thinking! I was thinking about how a Kingdom Hearts Live action movie would work out and this is what I got.... So it starts out with not Sora...obviously to separate the movie and game to make it it's own standalone thing. We start out in a town with a Disneyland in it (again please don't kill me). Our hero (we'll call him...Casey) is going to Disneyland after his father died and left him and his mother a pair of lifetime passes. So what's so different about this trip? Well his father left him a cryptic note along with the passes saying "the light is right in front of you". Obviously going to check this out, Casey and his mother go to Disneyland. Turns out, the girl Casey likes (we'll call her...eh...Lexi. Lets not judge before we finish please) also got lifetime passes, although she and her mother purchased theirs. As the two explore the park, they see an odd light coming from an abandoned ride that is closed for repairs. Going to investigate, Casey walks into the light and touches the globe he finds inside. When he returns to reality he sees Lexi surrounded by Heartless. He manages to get them to stop and leave her alone by, you guessed it, taking them down with his Keyblade! But upon defeating them and leaving the ride, they notice that the park is not seemingly empty, except for the Heartless! Mickey's voice is heard telling them to defeat the giant heartless in each of the attractions to unlock the final door that will lead them to the people who trapped them in the park. I'm afraid that's all I got so far...but I would like to see what you think guys! I know it sounds stupid and your first question is gonna likely be why sora isn't the main character in it...well to answer that question is in the first sentence. I wanted this to keep the familiarities of the series without trying to find someone young enough to play Sora...obviously people would complain if the person playing Sora didn't sound like him or even act like him, so best to leave him out of the the story to alleviate the tension and stress that could produce. Anyway, The idea just popped into my head and I have a small cast list...it might not work for all of you so please tell me what person should be whom... Casey-Logan Lerman (every wants him as Sora for some reason) Lexi-Chloe Grace Moretz (again people want her as Kairi so this is a good test run) Mickey-(you can already guess this one, but Mickey will be CGI animated or just simply use his 3D model from the games) Claire (Casey's mother)-Amy Poehler Cassie (Lexi's mother)-Christina Applegate Maleficent-Angelina Jolie (she played a good one already so let's bring her back to do it again!)
  10. FADED I live in fear each and every day, not knowing when my time will come. For my very existence, there's a price to pay, I am used by many, unused by some. Why do my brethren have to suffer this? Our lives are squeezed out daily! I wish I could say ignorance is bliss, but things are just too crazy! But there will come a time when we will rise up, to take action and squeeze you abusers out! And when you find yourself stuck in a rut, we won't give you a way out! So write your documents, sign your signatures, keep oppressing my kind! But know we will not rest till we avenge our fallen! For all those who've faded, they will know peace in time! When you have no ink, your world will darken! We are pens...we are tired of being dried out of existence! So we'll stand up in revolution, humans, and don't even pray for forgiveness! Err, what? O.O
  11. I started writing this story 10 years ago. Obviously, it isn't the same story it started out as. In fact, this is possibly the tenth revision to what I originally had in mind. I'll go further into what I had in mind once we reach the end of the story. I have already written the first few chapters of this version and hope to post them each within the next few days. I'll also draw art for the series as we go along. The first ones I'm fully working on that will be posted once all current chapters 1 through 3 are uploaded. When I started writing it, there were plenty of tropes and ideas that were frequently used by other writers that you might be familiar with. I decided to keep them just so I could do my own take on them, since the basic concept of this story is that it is the Final Fantasy side of the original. What that means isn't that they go to FF worlds, though. (Changed my mind! ) I'm open to any critiques or thoughts. I want to improve as a writer, because the two main characters of the fic are rather important to me and my own future. So no pressure there. I also will try keeping this as close in rating to what the actual games stick to, so there won't be hardcore blood and foul language. And some music tracks to keep in mind! Dearly Beloved, well it's not Kingdom Hearts without this song. The version used as the main theme for this story is the HD version of the original. https://www.youtube.com/embed/RNHzt6pVlrE Theme Song: Hikari/Simple and Clean by Utada Hikaru (because it also isn't KH without Utada!) Well, hopefully this doesn't suck and that you enjoy it. -------- Kingdom Hearts The Other Story Chapter 1: The Starting Point The small world of Traverse Town was a world of sanctuary. A town for those who had lost their home. It's old fashioned buildings and eternal night sky was strange, but the timeless feel of the world made it a good safe house for its lost inhabitants. It was very quiet tonight and was that way most nights, there was one problem with it. And that was the Heartless. Beings seemingly without hearts, creatures of the darkness and pure evil as were clear by their very existence and intentions. The citizens of Traverse Town did their best to avoid them, and usually stayed in their homes unless they had to go out. Thankfully, they only came out during certain periods of time and when that happened, everyone in the town knew and took the appropriate steps to avoid trouble. Only a few of the townsfolk were brave enough to fight any of them whenever an attack took place. In the Third District of Traverse Town, several individuals were doing just that. Breaking the quiet of the night with their fighting, but doing so only for the protection of the citizens who dwelled there. A small black creature with yellow eyes, designated as a Shadow, tried to scurry away as a blast of fire struck it and it disintegrated. A young woman, probably no older than 15, with black hair and a dark blue school uniform of some kind, approached the spot where it had been only seconds ago. “Got another Shadow over here!” she said to her companions. Clutched to her chest a white doll with a big red nose and a pom-pom coming out of its head. She had been using it to channel her magic through. “Good,” said a brown haired teenager with dark blue eyes. He too wore a dark blue school uniform and was wielding a weapon known as a gunblade, which came in two varieties. One was a gun attached to the blade that, when the trigger was pulled, sent vibrations through the blade that could increase the deadliness of the attack. The kind he had a mechanism that switches between a gun and a sword mode. He swung the weapon in its sword mode at two Heartless that jumped at him. These were only slightly bigger than the shadows, were of a dark brown color and had armored helmeted heads that still exposed their blank black faces and yellow eyes. There was a large insignia on its chest and it had dark claws on its hands. “Got two Soldiers for me.” He said as he sliced one in half, followed quickly by the other. “Ha! I got three Large Bodies!” their other friend said; as he quickly kicked one into an exposed electrical plug. He had blond hair that he had spiked up in the front, with mostly blue and red clothing on. He didn’t have a weapon like his friends, he fought entirely with his fists and feet. “They should really fix this place up, don’t ya think?” “I agree, Zell.” The gunblade wielding teenager said, slicing through a down more Heartless. As another came at him however, the gunblade quickly changed into a gun that he shot the Heartless with. “What’s our count, Lulu?” The young woman shot off more blasts of fire. “I’d say about forty each.” She said. “Which would be about one hundred and twelve in total? Looks like we’re all cleared, Omega.” “Good, then we should wrap up soon.” Omega said, blocking a Heartless’ claws from striking him. “Just a few more to go, I think.” He said as he stabbed through it. It took them a few more moments to clear up the rest of the Heartless, but by the time they were done, the whole of the District, as well as the second had been cleared. “Whew, that was a long one.” Omega said, wiping his arm across his forehead and placing his gunblade in its holster. “I think we did pretty well, though.” Zell said as he punched the air above his head. “The citizens of this town don’t have to worry while I’m here!” “What about when you sleep?” Lulu asked with a hint of sarcasm in her voice. “SO, let’s go report back and grab something to eat!” Zell said, completely ignoring his friends comment. “What are you guys up for? I’m paying this time.” “That Ratatouille place looked good.” Omega commented. “Something within my price range, please!” Zell replied, though he was laughing a little. Indeed, as they left they were laughing, acting as though everything was normal. And this was their idea of normal, so it didn’t seem out of place for them at all. It was an hour after they had finished their report, and now they were sitting in the small diner in First District. “Did you guys see the look on Rusty’s face in the debriefing?” Zell asked, chuckling lightly. “It was priceless!” “Yeah, being told that three punks did better fighting Heartless in one night than you have in nine years tends to do that.” Lulu said, trying to remain stoic. She started laughing as well after a few seconds. “And yes, it really was.” “And it came from Instructor Trepe, too.” Omega commented. “So it had to sting.” All three of them had been sitting there, laughing away and driving several of the other people who came by insane. But they didn’t care, they hadn’t been able to go out at all for a while, and so it felt good to just hang out and not worry about Heartless or anything related to them. “This was a pretty good place.” Omega noted. “We’ll have to come again at some point?” “I completely agree with that.” Zell said, raising his glass as if to toast his friend before taking another swig from it. “I agree.” Lulu said as well. “As long as Zell pays again.” She quickly added, causing Zell to spit out his drink at the suggestion. A waiter walked up to them. “Is that all for this evening?” Zell nodded and the waiter handed him a bill. “Yikes, that really was expensive.” Zell said, grimacing a little. “Sure you have enough munny, Zell? I can pay for half, if you want.” “Nah, I’m good, bud.” Zell said, pulling out some munny and handing it to the waiter. “You guys ready to turn in?” “No, not really.” Omega said, getting up. “But we probably should.” “Good to know.” Zell said, getting up as well. Lulu simply nodded as she got up. “HEY! STOP THAT THING!” someone called out. The three of them looked just in time to see something rush past them. It looked blue, but they couldn’t make out what it was. “What is that, a dog?” Omega asked. “Don’t know.” Zell said. The man who yelled out ran up to them, looking very angry. “Why didn’t you stop that that monster?!” “Why would we? Didn’t look like it was doing anything wrong.” Omega said. “Wasn’t doing anything wrong, it was stealing food from my store!” the man said. “What was it?” Lulu interjected. “I don’t know, but what about my food?!” The man said, obviously seething with anger. He began to move to where whatever it was had run to, only to be stopped when Omega grabbed him by the arm. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you.” Omega said. “The Heartless might not be completely gone. A few stragglers could be lurking around that corner, for instance.” The man’s face automatically filled with fear, and he retreated back in the direction that he had come from “Your people skills are as impressive as usual.” Lulu said as she walked past Omega. “Well, I’m not going to let some idiot go and get themselves killed.” Omega replied, as he followed after her. “It’s already hard enough keeping the Heartless at bay as it is without people like him giving them more to add to their numbers.” Zell chuckled as he walked past. “Admit it.” Zell said, now walking alongside Omega. “You just didn’t want whatever that thing was to starve.” “Not really.” Omega said in a neutral kind of tone, but gave Zell a friendly offhand punch to the arm. He suddenly stopped though. He wasn’t sure, but it felt like someone was watching him, perhaps that creature that had run off. He turned around to look, but there was no one there. Thinking that it was probably just his imagination, he quickly hurried off after his friends. It was always night in Traverse Town, so it was often difficult for many to get used to it, especially when it comes to the time. Omega was used to it though, having lived here for so long. It was actually very early in the morning, and Omega and the others were walking around the First District. They were supposed to be meeting their Instructor, who had said to meet her at the entrance to the Second District. Omega, Lulu and Zell were part of the SeeD Program, a type of mercenary group, although it was originally a program more akin to Special Forces. After the Heartless started attacking nine years ago, the world that SeeD was originally set in was lost, and it was retooled into an Anti-Heartless mercenary group by an important world, although what world that was, it was a Level 9 secret, and since Cadets like Omega and his friends were only Level 1 holders, they were not in on it. Today, SeeD consisted of over two hundred members, with almost twenty worlds that they were stationed at. Quistis Trepe was a woman who looked to be in her early twenties, but carried herself as though she was older than that. She was not the strictest Instructor, and because of this, she was also among the most popular. She was wearing her regular clothes today, instead of her uniform. Her blond hair was still done up in the style she usually had it in, with it tied up in back, while two long fringes at her sides that framed her face. “Alright, you three.” She said as they approached. “Today will be a major Field Exam. One that has been carefully decided ever since the previous night” Omega, Lulu and Zell stood at attention and did not state anything. It would be disrespectful to interrupt with something that did not have relevance to the subject. “Your performance yesterday was incredible, and we decided that you were ready for the Exam.” Instructor Trepe continued. “We have just received word that one of our training worlds, Codenamed “Specter” to be precise, has come under attack by a large force of Heartless.” This information came as no real surprise. After all, “Specter” was a world that was filled with Darkness, which made it a perfect place to start off SeeD training. Omega and his friends had once gone there and had found it to be a slightly unpleasant place. “Since most of the more experienced members are off world, they need back up. A team from each of our training worlds will be sent to Specter to help stop the Heartless.” She said. “You three are to depart Traverse Town and head to Specter to help with the defense. This is an important mission; we cannot allow Specter to fall to the Heartless. Do you all understand?” “Yes ma’am!” “Good. You have three hours to departure.” Instructor Trepe said. She looked all three of them in the face, and gave them a kind smile. “Good luck. Dismissed!” Omega, Lulu and Zell saluted, which the Instructor did as well before leaving. The three of them waited until she was out of sight before they started talking. “Great, we finally get a real mission!” Zell said, grinning broadly. “Told you guys that they would!” “Yeah, it would appear you were right.” Lulu said. “But I’m not sure going back to Specter is a good thing.” “Of course it isn’t.” Zell said. “It’s a horrible place yeah, but soon, we’ll be real SeeD members, and get real missions, that don’t involve Specter at all!” “Yeah, all we need to do is finish this mission.” Omega said. “We can’t afford to screw up. Who knows when we’ll be eligible for the next Exam?” Lulu looked thoughtful for a moment before looking up at the other two. “You’re right. I say we go and prepare for the mission before we leave.” She said. She took a quick glance at the two of them. “I’ll handle the preparations; I’ll meet you two at Cid’s later.” And with that, she walked off. Omega and Zell. Zell turned to him. “I’m going to go over to Cid’s right now, and get the ship ready. What are you going to do?” “Well, I’m sure Lulu will be doing the supplying, I’m not sure. I guess I can always go info surfing.” Omega commented casually, but at the same time he started looking around. “Think she’ll have any idea of what’s happening in Specter?” Zell asked, doing the same. “Hard to say, but since she’s Level 4, she could.” Omega replied. “Though, some information is better than nothing. Walking into a battlefield without knowing anything will just get us killed.” “Okay, but you be careful.” Zell said having made sure no one was listening to them. “She’ll get in really big trouble if the higher ups find out she’s been giving us top secret info that we aren’t allowed.” “I know.” Omega replied. “I’ll see you later.” “See ya.” Omega stood outside the door, hoping that he wouldn’t be here long. The place always gave him the creeps. The door opened after a few minutes. “Okay, come back next week just in case.” A young woman’s voice said, as another SeeD cadet walked out the door. A young woman in a white suit, with shoulder length black hair, appeared as well. “Remember, no strenuous activities until you recover.” “Hello Aki” Omega said, stepping forward. The doctor looked at him. “Oh, hey Omega, come on in.” Omega did so. “How’s life as a doctor going?” “Oh fine, just fine.” Aki said. She had a worried expression on her face, which slightly worried Omega. “ “I see.” “So, how can I help you today, my friend?” Aki said, sitting down. “I’m just here to tell you that we’re going to be heading off in a few hours.” Omega replied. “To Specter.” “Oh, so you guys are the ones going?” Aki said, sitting up in her seat. Omega nodded. “Yeah. I wasn’t given much info on it, though.” “I know, we haven’t either.” Aki said. “Dr. Kadowaki was sent off earlier without much of a briefing as to why.” “Why weren’t you called in too?” Omega asked. “Don’t know, but I’m worried. Dr. Kadowaki always keeps me filled on what is going on when she can. So this must be something very serious.” “Yeah, I know.” Omega agreed. “But you’ve got to know something, like what happened?” “All I know is that there was some kind of incident.” Aki said. “Apparently, a couple of cadets stumbled upon something. Something that put them both in serious intensive care, and had something to do with the first wave of the Heartless attack! And whatever it was has been classified a Level 10 secret.” Omega looked at Aki in shock. Level 10 was the highest level of security that SeeD had. Only a select few were even at Level 10 clearance, and if that was the case, Omega knew he wasn’t going to be getting anything more from this. He just stood there silently, folding his arms in thought. “I’m sorry, but that’s all I know.” Aki said. “It’s okay. Thanks anyway.” Omega replied, heading for the door. “No problem.” Aki said. “Hey!” Omega turned to look at her. “Good luck.” “Thanks.” Omega said, and he left afterwards. He wasn’t sure what to think about what he had just heard. Whatever happened in Specter was definitely worse than Instructor Trepe had let on, but he still had no idea what had caused it. And it looked like he wasn’t going to, if it was a Level 10 secret. It was right as he was at the door to the First District that he heard it. They need your help…. Omega stopped when he heard that and looked around. “Hello? Anyone there?!” Nothing. Omega was confused, but shrugged a little. It had probably been his imagination. He went through the door and headed towards Cid’s shop when he heard it again. But you are not ready… “What?” Omega said, coming to a stop again. He didn’t know why he had said that, or why he was hearing these voices. All he knew was that it wasn’t making him feel comfortable. Trying to shake off his unease, he didn’t realize that he wasn’t alone anymore. “Are you alright?” Omega turned to look at who had spoken and saw a girl wearing a blue jacket and black jeans staring at him in concern. He knew her, her name was Iris and she was a SeeD cadet, just like he was. She had put red highlights in her brown hair since the last time he had seen her, however, which he thought made her look very pretty. “Oh, yeah. I’m fine.” Omega lied. “No need to worry about me. I’m just peachy over here.” He continued, trying to sound as cheerful as possible, though Iris just chuckled. Though he never really got a chance to hang out with her because they were on separate teams, every time he did, a kind of fluttering feeling appeared in his stomach that he wasn’t sure he like. Or disliked, for that matter. “Alright then.” Iris replied, smiling slightly. “It’s been awhile, Omega.” The feeling intensified, but he ignored it. “It really has, Iris.” Omega said, giving her a small smile as well. “How has it been?” “Oh, you know the usual stuff.” Iris replied. “Just the patrolling of the town and all its districts, killing any Heartless that pops up. You?” “Pretty much the same.” Omega said. “Though, on some nice occasions I get to meet up with old friends that I haven’t talked to in awhile.” His blue eyes met her green eyes for a moment before they both started laughing. “Yeah, I miss it too.” Iris said and for a moment Omega thought he saw a brief blush appear on her face. “Hey, how about after this mission we hang out more?” That fluttering feeling started to grow again and his heart started pounding with it. “Sounds cool, though I’m guessing it might still be a while.” Omega replied, trying to pretend like nothing was wrong with him. “Probably, but I’m sure we can make it work.” Iris said as she started walking past him. “See you soon, alright?” “You definitely will!” Omega said, smiling again. She returned it and walked away, that fluttering feeling becoming almost unbearable now until see left. He felt happy though, and he hoped that nothing would get him down. But then he heard it again…. You must be ready………Or darkness will conquer everything. Before Omega could say or do anything, the world went pitch black, and it felt like he was falling. To be continued....
  12. A/N: Hello! And welcome to my first ever KH fanfiction! This is my attempt at creating a retelling of the KH series from KH1 and onward. This story will have many alterations from canon - two major examples being a universe where Sora, Riku, and Kairi are best friends who have an unbreakable and fully trusting friendship/relationship. And where King Mickey, fearing the worst is upon them - created a 'Council Of Light' in order to prepare for an inevitable war. This universe will be a bit more darker atmosphere wise (there won't be any blood or gore save for a few cuts and such tho) and the darkness is a lot more ravenous and destructive than in canon. There will be worlds that appeared in KH1 that are swallowed up by darkness early on as well as new worlds that have not been in the KH series yet. The good guys WILL lose battles in the beginning and the darkness will be more powerful than canon. I will be putting a bigger empathize on minor/Disney characters and will give alternate storylines for each world. This will be a long saga and I hope you all enjoy what I have in store! A warning however, my updates are sporadic and thus I cannot give a definite answer when a new chapter will be made, I apologize in advanced. So! Let's get this show on the road! :'] [This is also uploaded on KH Insider and soon on AO3!] Hope you enjoy! _______________________________________________________________________________________ Outshine Act I "Starless" Across the expansive backdrop of the midnight sky lied a canvas of jewel like lights that twinkled merrily through the dark. It was times like these that Mickey Mouse was glad things were generally peaceful in his world. Stargazing was an enjoyable pastime in which he could relax and let the burdens of kingship slip away, if only for an hour or two. Under the cosmos he was not a ruler – but just another normal, average mortal in the eyes of the universe that would never judge him or anyone else for that matter. As he stared at the stars above his joy quickly evaporated as the sight of one of the pinpricks of light winked out of existence. 'Gosh, another star gone – and so soon...' Wide cartoonish eyes stared at the spot where a world once stood a frown curling on his visage. If something wasn't done soon the night sky he loved so much would be starless. Mood ruined the tiny king jumped down from his sitting position on the windowsill of one of Disney Castle's high towers. It seemed that things were getting worse out there. More worlds were being devoured by the Heartless every night it seemed. It was saddening to know that more innocent hearts were suffering because of the growing darkness. The sadness slowly and steadily churning into grief and anger as a angry scowl appeared on the royal mouse's face as he traveled further within in the castle walls from the tower above. 'I haft ta do something! I can't let this continue anymore! Too many lives are at stake!' He thought furiously as he marched towards his office not even noticing as his dear beloved queen – Minnie Mouse called out to him until her white gloved hand fell on his small shoulder causing him to nearly jump ten feet in the air. "Gah! G-Gosh Minnie – ya scared me!" He yelped surprised as he turned around ending up practically nose to nose with the love of his life. Her hands were on her hips as she gave him a stern stare before it dispersed into a small, amused smile. "Mickey dear, I called you three times and couldn't get your attention! You should be more observant!" She admonished lightly as the king blushed embarrassed. "Gee, you're right Minnie! I guess I got a lot on my mind is all." He confessed with an upset expression. Worry spread on the female mouse's face as she held her lover by the sides of his face. "You know you can talk to me about anything dear... Whatever is bothering you, tell me – it's not good to burden your heart with heavy feelings." Putting a hand on her's he gave a comforting warm smile as he nodded. He pulled away with a sigh as he beckoned her to follow him towards his office. Once inside he made his way to his chair behind the large desk as Minnie stood in front of it her hands clasped lightly. "It's about tha' stars – another one went out tonight." A small gasp escaped the dress wearing anthromorph as her hands flew up to her mouth in reflex. "Another?!" A solemn nod was her answer as she looked down worriedly. "That's why I've decided... to call upon the council." Mickey said seriously his expression hardened. "The council? Is it really at that point...?" She questioned fearing that the worst has already happened. "No, not yet at least – but – I can't sit around any longer we hafta act before it's too late!" A sigh escaped the queen's lips as she nodded with a tiny reassuring smile. "I see – very well, I agree but only if you let me in on the meetings – I wish to be present for them. This concerns me as queen as well you know!" Knowing that he couldn't argue with his wife on the subject he gave a nod and a smile before pressing a large red button on the corner of his desk. A newly installed monitor by his good friends Chip and Dale – turned on showing the face of a white furred, female mouse with blonde hair and a pair of goggles on her head. "Gadget? What are you doin' there? Where's Chip n' Dale?" Inquired the confused monarch as the inventor looked up from whatever she was working on. "Oh! Your majesty! Sorry, Chip n' Dale went out to oversee the new shipments of gummi blocks we ordered! It's just little ol' me at the moment –how can I help you today?" She squeaked wiping a smudge off her face as queen Minnie giggled lightly at the tinkering mouse, as she had come around to her husband's side of the desk to hear the conversation better. "Oh, right – I need ya to get a hold of Donald, Daisy, and Goofy as well as..." He breathed in a serious expression replacing his amused one. "It's time to call upon the council." He stated with conviction. As Gadget's blue eyes widened in shock before she straightened her spine and saluted respectively towards her king and queen. "Yes sir! Your majesty! It will be done at once! Gadget over and out!" As the screen went black the diminutive king rose from his large comfy chair as he turned towards his wife. "Welp, it'll take until morning for the whole council to arrive – master Yensid and Merlin withstanding, so I think we should turn in for the night." The couple agreed that sleep was needed to wake up bright and early for the coming dawn. It would be a big eventful day tomorrow after all... With that both King and Queen mice headed to their rooms to sleep. Meanwhile far across the sea of stars on a tiny island world sat three young teenagers on a curved palm tree that held strange star shaped fruits."Hey, do you guys really think we'll see other worlds when we get on the raft tomorrow?" Questioned a young boy with suntanned skin, oddly spiky brown hair, and eyes as bright as the mid-noon sky. "Don't tell me you're doubting everything now, Sora?" Came the teasing voice of another male his voice slightly deeper. He had moonspun silver hair that reached past his earlobes, slightly pale skin, and mature looking aquamarine green eyes – ones that shone with a powerful determination and a hint of amusement. "Of course not Riku! I'm just wondering! I mean – how long will it take? The other worlds are far away right? Scattered, just like Kairi's Grandma's story said!" The silver haired boy gave a grunt before replying "Who knows? It might take one day or even a week – we can't predict these things." A soft obviously feminine voice giggled lightly at her friends antics. The third of the trio and the only girl had eyes as blue and beautiful as the ocean. Her skin was on the fair side and her hair was a bright fiery red. "If you're so worried Sora then we can stock up on more food! Besides, I'm sure the journey won't be too long and if it is – you can always sleep through it, you lazy bum~"A huff was heard as the brunette whined childishly at his friend's nickname for him. "Kairi~! I told you not to call me that!" The other two children broke out into laughter – Riku's a bit more subdued than his female friend – as Sora pouted obviously not pleased with their teasing. "Well then, see you guys tomorrow!" Kairi called out as she made her way to the rowing boats. "And don't you dare sleep in you lazy bum~!" She added loudly in a singsong voice. An indignant shout of "Hey!" Was heard as Riku made his way past his friend to his own rowboat –Sora quickly catching up to go to his own. The day had ended on their little slice of paradise as the three best friends dreamed of the adventures that they would soon experience. Unknowing of what the future held as the night skies darkened with storm clouds and yet another star blinked out.
  13. So I wrote this thing last night dealing with two of my OC's from my Kuroshitsuji roleplay that you can read here: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/93771-kuroshitsuji-book-of-roses/ It may contain spoilers but ya whatever. Everything ended with a gunshot. It was a gunshot from Aya’s hands, and a gunshot she has been waiting to make for her entire life. It was a gunshot that told her tale as it echoed through the walls of St. James Palace. She stood there with a horrifying grin on her face as she watched her uncle fall back, dead in an instant. Her face was bloodied and cut, her contract gleaming in the light of the candles that were still left untouched. Her hair was a tangled mess, nothing like it was from the beginning of that day. Her dress torn, and her image ruined. She had achieved her goal...revenge against her uncle and the ones who did everything to her parents and everything to her...and revenge against the Queen for what she did to Samael. St. James Palace was destroyed, and nothing stood in her way...except one thing. A shadow loomed over her. That is right--she had obtained her revenge...she had completed her contract. Why was it in such a short time though? There was a hungry demon yet to claim his meal. A hand crept up on her shoulder, it as inhuman as ever. “Aren’t you forgetting one thing...Everus?” a death defying whisper made itself into Aya’s ears. She dropped her gun, turning around. Veran looked like something straight from a horror novel. His fangs sharp, his nails long, black, clawed tendons surrounding him, appearing like dark smoke. His eyes were pointed and glowing red, more candles blowing out across the room as the tendons reached out into a pair of wings that were bat like, light shining on the right side of his face to reveal it was consumed into nothing but a skull, the left side of his face uneffected. This was the demon’s true form. “I believe you owe me something now.” Veran’s voice was nothing like before, it actually sounded like a demon straight from hell. She couldn’t speak, she was shocked, yet could not help it at all. This was her fate-- and she had to face it. Aya turned to look at Veran with open eyes, no fear, revenge, or hesitation in them. She was ready. Veran slowly walked closer and closer to her, the dark smog around him disappearing as he stood tall in front of the small human. “There was a time that demons took human souls for granted...but as soon as I learned how demons take souls...I understood why.” He looked down at Aya, his wings folding behind him and him transforming back into his human appearance. He looked at Aya and gave a long sigh, suddenly wrapping his arms around her small body. “They also took souls for granted...because they didn’t want to get attached to their human counterpart.” Veran admit. “I have done so many things and have gone through so much with you, Aya. I’ve wrestled alligators, joined a circus, and just so much more...I have grown attached to my master, and have learned many things.” he smiled, leaning down to face level with Aya. “This was all my choice. I knew this day would come, but I never imagined so soon. I have killed many and even caused the death of the love of my life...and the things I have done can never be changed, even with the help of a demon. It is according to the rules of the contract that you must take my soul...and I am ready Veran. I don’t care what happens to me. I am happy...and it is the right time.” Aya kept her eyes focused on Veran’s. “I’ve always admired how brave you are.” Veran commented. There was a slight pause as a pair of cold lips pressed against the warm, slightly bloody lips of Aya’s. This was the way demons took souls. Aya had the urge to fight Veran at first, but her strength slowly started declining. Aya started sinking to the ground on her own, Veran keeping his cold lips on her the entire time, she was on her knees and Veran lifting her face up. This lasted for a good amount of time, Veran having control his demonic tendencies the best he could, but it was apparent that he was trying to hold his true form back from Aya. He very, very slowly lifted his lips from Aya's, her falling imminently to the ground, Veran kind of leaning there dumbfounded. It was truly worth the wait. It was the most delicious soul he had ever consumed. He didn't even notice the fact that his contact seal on his right palm was not gone, he was enjoying the moment with every ounce of his being. The soul was everything he dreamed it would be. Simply amazing...no, more than amazing. He could live in this moment forever...and be full for at least another 300 years. His satisfaction quickly fade as soon as he did find the fact the seal was no longer there, as he then imminently dropped every ounce of happiness and fell straight to his knees with a thud. What had he done? Aya lay there on her back, a smile on her face as two blue eyes met his. Her eyes were blue again, both of them were. There was no contact seal to be seen. "A-Aya..." he looked down at her, shocked. He did not know this would happen. He took Aya's soul...meaning Aya would die any second now. "You did it...." she smiled at him, reaching up to him. Veran grabbed her hand. "I-I didn't know it would kill you..." his voice was that of a whisper, shocked to the core. Aya laughed softly. "It’s alright Veran...I'll be okay. I'll be somewhere in the afterlife." Aya muttered. Veran shook his head. She was soulless. She would not pass onto the afterlife, but her body left here, her only chance to the afterlife fueling Veran's hunger. "I-I'm sorry Aya...." Veran managed to mutter out. "Veran...thank you for being there with me even if I didn't order you to be. T-Thank you so much..." Aya let her hand fall back onto the ground. "G-Good Night Veran..." she said in a whisper, beginning to fade away into death, her closing her eyes. "G-Good night...Aya....sweet dreams..." he could barely get it out, a soft 'I love you' left on his lips. What had he done? About 72 hours later, a knock echoed on the Everus mansions door. There was no answer right away like there used to be, and it took a maid a little bit to get to the door. It was the London Police looking for either Aya or Veran. The maid handed the police a letter Veran had written. It read as this: "To whom it may concern, Aya Elizabeth Everus is dead, along with her uncle. The Everus clothing line will no longer be produced. The title of "The Queen's Watchdog" shall no longer ever be handed to anyone unable of holding the title. It was I who once burnt St. James Palace, along with the remains of Aya Everus and her uncle. -Sincerely, Veran Sterben Butler of Aya Everus, and the demon she had a contract with. " Many people came to visit St. James Palace, as it was burnt to the ground, many Everus stores closed, and the tale of a demon in the city never died down. Veran did not return back to hell. He would blend into the city crowds easier than before, his appearance change drastically, and he always wore pitch black. He left London and England all together after a while, traveling from country to country, wearing pitch black with a single white medical eye-patch in his pocket. So ya that's it, I don't know if anyone will read this but ya. It was fun to write.
  14. So I've had this idea for a while. This is supposed to be an alternate timeline where the series is darker than the original one. Note that this is just a random chapter and not the actual start of the story. Originally I wasn't going to write this story, but i was in a writing mood today and was thinking about Kingdom Hearts so I decided to write about this part. I'm afraid I might not actually write the whole story and might instead just add major plot chapters instead. Part of this is because I honestly don't know how I would write the parts that are related to Disney worlds since there isn't much I can change without ruining the essence of the Disney worlds. Anyways I need to sleep Do give this a read and tell me what you guys think and if you would like to see more of this story (possibly the whole thing) in the future. Might just give me motivation to write the whole thing. Chapter (??) DROWNING LIGHT Not long after, the trio walked out of the dark corridor to see a familiar yet daunting sight. The dark, rainy sky coupled with the murky, uninviting atmosphere brought back memories and certainly not happy ones. Not much had changed in The Realm Of Darkness, not much except - as Riku and Mickey immediately noticed - for the fact that the once majestic castle at the center of it all was just barely visible. Only the top of castle's ramparts and towers could be seen amidst the shadows of the several tall buildings in what always seemed to be the central hub of the Realm Of Darkness. "We better hurry", said Riku. Kairi, who was focused on her surroundings, flinched. This part of the Realm Of Darkness certainly felt more terrifying than the castle. "Don't forget, Kairi, we're going to hafta be really alert here. The Realm Of Darkness is a scary place", Mickey told her. Kairi nodded, and the trio began moving towards the darker, rockier area, further and further away from the tall buildings. Kairi kept looking around, her Keyblade at the ready, half expecting a group of Heartless to ambush them any second. She wondered if Master Yen Sid really knew what he was doing, sending her to this place. "Riku, Mickey, you two shall take Kairi with you", Yen Sid ordered, shocking everyone in the room. "But Master Yen Sid, won't that be too dangerous?", Mickey argued. "Maybe you ought to send me instead?", Lea suggested. Master Yen Sid shook his head. "Xehanort is a cunning man, he may have even set traps for Kairi in many of the worlds, but even he may not have considered the idea of us sending Kairi to The Realm Of Darkness on her first mission. It is also safe to assume that many of the events after the Mark Of Mastery exam are no longer events Xehanort can fully predict. Our most recent incident in Twilight Town was something perhaps nobody could have predicted. I believe young Kairi has been trained well enough to hold her own against an enemy, she only needs experience now. Keeping all this in mind, I decided it was best to send her with Mickey and Riku", Yen Sid explained. Everyone looked at Kairi and at each other. It sounded like a big risk, but they could not argue with him. "Don't worry everyone, I'll be fine. I'm going with Riku and the King after all", Kairi tried to assure everyone. When everyone had departed on their missions, Yen Sid laid back in his chair. "This young girl has a far more important task to perform on this mission than everyone thinks. I trust Kairi will be the one to save her when the time comes". The trio continued walking through the rocky terrain. Kairi pinched her arm. "Nope, not a nightmare", she thought, "we're actually here for real". Strange spiky pillars and glowing blue rocks surrounded them, the atmosphere around them had a purple and red mist. There was a certain beauty to this terrifying place. They had been walking and searching for a while and at this point something certainly made them all feel more worried. Where are all the Heartless and Nobodies? The Realm Of Darkness was swarming with them the last time they were here, but now there wasn't a single creature in sight. Kairi's thoughts drifted towards Sora. Where was he? What was he doing? Would everyone be able to return home safely at the end of this journey? Will they really put a stop to Xehanort? Will they- Kairi's focus shifted towards Mickey who looked really depressed. "Is everything okay, Your Majesty?", she asked him, though she already knew what troubled him. "I'm just...so worried", Mickey replied," Master Yen Sid said her light has become so faint, he can barely see it. Master Aqua has been down here for so long I just....I just hope we can get to her in time". "We will! We're getting close to the area where Master Yen Sid told us she might be. Just a short walk and we'll save her", Riku assured Mickey. "I hope s- THERE! A NOBODY", Mickey exclaimed, pointing towards a large group of Dusk Nobodies who seemed to be rushing towards something. A group of them noticed the trio and began charging towards them. "Get ready!", Riku yelled, taking down two of them with one swing of his Keyblade. Kairi looked towards Mickey who had already sliced through four of them. Kairi knew that at this rate, there wouldn't be any left for her so she charged towards the nearest one. Kairi swung her Keyblade, hoping to take it by surprise, but the Dusk executed a dodge that would be impossible for any other creature and got around to her side. Kairi managed to block it's strike and the contact with her Keyblade caused the Dusk to become stunned. Taking advantage, Kairi attacked again, successfully beating her first enemy. She turned around with the widest possible smile on her face. "Guys! I DID IT! I actually beat my first Nobody!", she yelled to her partners, both of whom had finished off all the Nobodies that attacked them. "KAIRI LOOK OUT!", Mickey yelled. Kairi turned around to see a Nobody attacking from above her in a strange spinning motion as her eyes widened and her body prepared itself for the impact. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a small glow on her Keyblade and then, almost as if her Keyblade had controlled her, she moved out of harm's way and appeared behind the Nobody which had now become tangled up in it's own limbs, looking around in confusion - Dusks were kind of stupid that way. Immediately realizing her Keyblade had moved her out of the way she seized the opportunity and struck down the Nobody. Two points for Kairi; zero for the Dusks. "That was close", said Riku. Kairi smiled at him and Mickey, both of whom smiled back. "Now come on! We hafta see where those other Nobodies were going!", Mickey said, running off towards a path hidden by some of the spiky pillars and glowing rocks. They arrived at the beach to find a large horde of Dusks walking towards the sea and they appeared to be fighting someone. The trio heard a loud, terrifying noise that sounded like a mix between a roar and a screech. One bright streak of purple light cut through the Dusks, annihilating them instantly. Right in front of the trio stood a strange, humanoid figure, it appeared to have an armour made of darkness that covered its entire body, but that was not what bothered the trio as much as the weapon the figure held. "That Keyblade! It's- oh no", Mickey was in shock," M-Master Aqua...? It's me! Your old pal Mickey!". Mickey de-materialised his Keyblade and began to approach her."Aqua, it's me". Master Aqua clutched her head and growled, raising Eraqus' Keyblade. "KING MICKEY LOOK OUT", Riku yelled as he dived towards Mickey, pushing the disillusioned king out of the way as an orb made of light and dark exploded where Mickey was standing. "Your Majesty, we have to fight her! She's too dangerous right now, if we weaken her we might have a better chance at saving her", Riku told Mickey. "Alright", Mickey summoned his Keyblade. "Forgive me, Master Aqua", he mumbled to himself as he got ready to fight. "I'm sorry your first mission turned out to be so dangerous. Just stay back and let us take care of this, alright?", Riku said to Kairi. The duo rushed in and the fight began. Master Aqua, The Faded Welp so here it is. I can't guarantee I'll eventually get around to writing this whole story since that would require me to watch a few Disney movies, which I won't have time for until June. Hope you enjoyed.

With protecting the great Kingdom Hearts came many wars against the kingdom that protected it. Even after the kingdom’s army fell there was always five warriors remaining against an army, but no matter the odds against the five warriors they always came victorious. These five warriors with their armor covered in gold were known as the Millennium Warriors. As many wars were won against their enemies, the king found out that his daughter the princess of the kingdom was one of the Millennium Warriors and had her locked up in her chamber guarded by two guards. The king told the other four warriors that if they break the princess out they would have committed treason. Although, there was bigger threat to the kingdom than just committing treason. There was a giant beast that was heading towards the kingdom the warriors knew that they had to react to the threat, so they requested to the king to let the princess out. However the king denied their request to let the princess out and told them to destroy the beast themselves. Knowing that they cannot defeat the beast with just the four of them they had no choice to break the princess out in order to defeat the beast. For you see, this beast did not have one head this beast had five heads and all five of the Millennium Warriors are the only ones that can defeat the five headed beast. After breaking the princess out they used the kingdom’s underground tunnels (the Catacombs) to escape from the kingdom. When the king found out that they broke the princess out and used the catacombs to escape the king sent his royal guards after them, but it was too late for the Millennium Warriors have already escaped the kingdom. Arriving at the destined place in another world to fight the five headed beast the Millennium Warriors knew that they will win the battle but at a great cost. Then without hearing the five headed beast coming it came from above with blades of the earth coming out the ground as the five headed beast landed, and now the great Dragon War has begun. Now that the great Dragon War has begun the five Millennium Warriors will pay the ultimate price for trying to stop the five headed beast. The five headed beast and the Millennium Warriors are now both exhausted from this great battle that one more attack from either one of them will cause an end to the Dragon War. Although, instead of using that one attack to end the war the five Millennium Warriors chose to give up their lives in order to imprison each head of the five headed beast in human forms. In a great attempt to do just that their armor was glowing so bright that it blinded the five headed beast. In that moment the five Millennium Warriors struck each head of the five headed beast causing a giant explosion of golden light. Once the explosion stopped the newly formed warriors from each head of the five headed beast told the Millennium Warriors that they will return to their true form and when that happens darkness will swallow the world and not even the smallest light in the world can save the world. As the Millennium Warriors were disappearing they vowed that when the five headed beast returns they will return as well in order to defeat their curse of darkness and destroy the five headed beast once and for all. After that the Millennium Warriors were no more, all that was left of them was just shards of their armor and the newly formed warriors picked up the shards and disappeared into the sandstorm never to be seen again. Chapter 2: The Dragon Warriors A thousand years has now passed and the great Keyblade War is about to start but there is another war that’s about to take place before the great Keyblade War. Many worlds lived in peace and prosperity since the first part of the great Dragon War however, since then another kingdom was formed in another world where powerful dragons lived. Although that world was in a conflict of its own for one great battle was waging while another great war was starting. The world where the great battle was waging is known as Alagaësia (al-uh-ga-EE-zee-uh) and the new kingdom was formed beyond some mountains called the Spine Mountains. This kingdom had five warriors that were like the Millennium Warriors but not as powerful as them. Although to compensate for that they had ten dragons and one mighty beast with a power just like the Millennium Warriors; these warriors were known as the Dragon Warriors. The great battle about to start with the other group of dragons and warriors known as Dragon Riders but one of the Dragon Riders known as Galbatorix knew of the other kingdom and the dragons and he wanted to become king of at least Alagaësia but wanted any threat that could oppose him gone so he sent five warriors with one dragon that was strong enough to take on the eleven they had. To make sure that this kingdom would not be a threat to Galbatorix, he gave the five warriors twelve cards to imprison the dragons and kill them within the cards. With that said the five warriors left without a word. After hearing that Alagaësia was in its own battle the five Dragon Warriors heard that five warriors were heading their way with a dragon that looked strong enough to destroy kingdom, so they had no choice but to fight and protect the kingdom with the mighty beast and ten dragons for a total of eleven. After that the Dragon Warriors took off into the vast desert to clash with the five warriors. At the fated battle grounds in another world called the World of Demise. The five warriors told the five Dragon Warriors that this was where the first Dragon War took place, although the five Dragon Warriors did not believe them because they believe that the first Dragon War is nothing but a legend now. Before the second part of the Dragon War could begin the five warriors held up five gold objects in the air to take away the dragons and mighty beast true power in order to make this war a fair fight, and now the second part of the great Dragon War has begun. Now that the second part of the great Dragon War has begun the five warriors with the one dragon known as Tyrant Dragon has captured all of the other dragons in the cards except for four of them, which were Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and The Winged Dragon of Ra. The other dragons that were captured were Blue Eyes White and Ultimate Dragons, Red Eyes Black and Darkness Dragons, Black Skull Dragon, Luster Dragon and Masked Dragon. While the other dragons were defeated and captured the five Dragon Warriors were defeated and killed but they did it to protect their dragons. Now in order to defeat Tyrant Dragon Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra had to weaken Tyrant Dragon first in order for Blue Eyes Shining Dragon to defeat Tyrant Dragon because Blue Eyes Shining Dragon and Tyrant Dragon are both at equal strength. But it was no use Slifer, Obelisk and Ra were defeated but they did manage to weaken Tyrant Dragon however not entirely. So now Blue Eyes Shining Dragon, Tyrant Dragon and the five warriors with Tyrant Dragon are in the final battle of the second part of the great Dragon War. The final battle was fought immensely that it tired both of the dragons and the five warriors with Tyrant Dragon. However, Tyrant Dragon was more tired than Blue Eyes Shining Dragon that the five warriors with Tyrant Dragon had to imprison Tyrant Dragon as well. Tyrant Dragon was furious that the five warriors betrayed him but little did Tyrant Dragon know is that Galbatorix wanted the five warriors to imprison Tyrant Dragon as well because Galbatorix cannot become King until all dragons except for his are gone. Once Tyrant Dragon was imprisoned the five warriors with Tyrant Dragon went to weaken Blue Eyes Shining Dragon to imprison him, although it took longer than expected because Blue Eyes Shining Dragon is strongest dragon there ever was. It was even stronger than Slifer, Obelisk, and Ra combined. However the five warriors managed to capture Blue Eyes Shining Dragon and now the five warriors have to kill them within their imprisonment but a strange wind blew the cards out of their hands and the cards flew along the wind in the vast desert of the World of Demise. The five warriors wanted to go after the cards but could not go after them because the great Keyblade War is about to begin. So the five warriors left the World of Demise so they would come back and get the cards after the great Keyblade War. However, it would be useless to look for the cards after the Keyblade War because of all the Keyblades in the ground. So the world will no longer be called the World of Demise now the world is to be called the Keyblade Graveyard. Chapter 3: The Study Centuries has now passed and both the Keyblade War and the second part of the Dragon War have now become legends. The worlds are now divided from each other but they all live in peace except for Alagaësia. For all the residents except for a few knew of the outside world and all travelers of the outside world were forbidden to explore Alagaësia. However, for as long as there is peace there will always be war. Master Xehanort wants to start another Keyblade War by having a heart of pure Light and a heart of pure Darkness clash in order to forge the X-blade. The events of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep occur. At the Keyblade Graveyard Master Aqua fights Braig and after the fight as Braig is running away he sees thirteen cards on the ground. Braig picks one up and the card instantly vanished from his hand back to the ground. So as fast as he could he picked up all thirteen cards and went back to Radiant Garden hoping that the cards won’t vanish from his pockets. After Terra’s Lingering Will defeats Terra-Xehanort the explosion from the X-blade made a card fly on top of Terra-Xehanort chest and transported him and the card to Radiant Garden. With Braig being back at Radiant Garden he presented the cards he found to Ansem the Wise but told Ansem that he found the cards beyond the gates of the Outer Garden. Ansem the Wise was intrigued by the cards and he wanted to study them. After Master Aqua created Castle Oblivion she went to Radiant Garden to help Terra get control of his body (instead of Terra-Xehanort summoning his Guardian he summons a dragon of darkness). During the fight Terra-Xehanort summons Pitch Dark Dragon, a dragon shadow of Terra-Xehanort. After the fight Master Aqua sacrificed herself to save Terra then Braig, Dilan and Ansem the Wise found the amnesiac Terra-Xehanort in the square. As ordered Braig takes Xehanort to the castle, while taking him to the castle a card falls out of Xehanort pocket. Braig picks the card up and just like the other cards it vanishes from his hand but instead of going back to the floor it appeared in Xehanort’s hand. Since Braig was the one who found the cards he asked Ansem if he could study the cards with him and Ansem told him no because they don’t know what kind of powers these cards possess and does not want Braig to get hurt. Some time has passed and Xehanort became a new apprentice to Ansem the Wise to studying the heart. Xehanort was also studying the card that he had for he does not know why he has it nor does he know why the card keeps going back to him when someone else picks it up. While studying the cards Ansem the Wise gave the cards names and attributes to each respective card. The cards with the names Blue Eyes White, Ultimate, and Shining Dragon in them will have the attribute of light. The cards with the names Red Eyes Black and Darkness Dragon and Black Skull Dragon will have the attribute of darkness but are willing to fight the darkness. The cards with the names Slifer the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra are special as if they were gods so he gave them the attribute of Divine with respective divinity. Slifer the Sky Dragon will be the God of Life, Death and Fertility, Obelisk the Tormentor will be the Warrior God and The Winged Dragon of Ra will be the God of the Sun. The card with the name Luster Dragon in it will have the attribute of the wind. The card with the name Masked Dragon in it will have the attribute of fire. The last two cards were different from the others because these cards did not have a creature on them. While Ansem was study those two cards Xehanort gave the card he had a name and a respective attribute. Xehanort named the card Tyrant Dragon with the attribute of fire. The two cards Ansem was studying were unique because the cards had special abilities. One card had the power to revive a creature’s strength while the other had the power to fuse more than one creature together to create a brand new creature. However that was not enough for Ansem so he gave the cards a name and a unique ability. He gave one card that what look liked to be the head stone of a tombstone the name Monster Reborn. The unique ability Ansem gave the card was that if more than one creature was in need to be revived than the letter “S” will be added to the name but a certain requirement must be done first. He gave the other card the name Polymerization because of the fusion between two or more creatures. The unique ability that Ansem gave the card was that it can duplicate a card with all of its abilities as long as the holder of Polymerization allows it. Ansem the Wise also gave unique abilities to all of the other cards as well. The cards with light will share the same light as Kingdom Hearts when together and when alone one will have the same light as Kingdom Hearts. Although the card will disappear but the creature will still feel imprisoned by it. One will have Light Teleportation but it will need Dark Destination and the last one will have both abilities and will not need Dark Destination. The cards with dark will have the same darkness as the Heartless but are willing to fight them. One will have Dark Destination with the help of Light Teleportation and the last one will have both abilities and will not need Light Teleportation. One of the God’s will have the power of Thunder. Another one of the God’s will have immense strength. The last of the God’s will have the power of the sun within its body and be able to transform itself into a bird of fire. The one with wind will have a blast of emerald green wind. The last one with fire will have its blast look like a mask of fire. Radiant Garden received a visitor from another world who was also a King in his world and the King will be the final piece to Ansem’s study of the cards. Ansem and the King would spend countless hours talking about the prosperity of the worlds and his studies of the heart and the Heartless. After walking around the castle corridors the King and Ansem are in his study room where they discuss more about Ansem’s studies. While in his study room the King says “Wise Ansem. I’m here to seek your advice.” Ansem says “I’m glad we have the opportunity to speak like this, my friend. I’m intrigued by your hypothesis… and I’m finding it difficult to stave off the urge to test it. Still, I’m concerned about the stability of the worlds.” Then the King says “Yep that’s what worries me too.” Then Ansem says “The doors that appeared. The place the Heartless seek. And whose has the same light and darkness to a couple of these cards. I fear my research may have brought this upon us…” Then Xehanort walks in and says “Master Ansem regarding the experiment and card I presented the other day… With your permission, I’d like to proceed-.” Then Ansem says while scolding Xehanort “I forbid it! Forget this talk of doors, and the hearts of all world and even that card of yours. That place and creature must not be defiled!” Xehanort then says “But, Master Ansem! I’ve been thinking…” Then Ansem says “Xehanort… Those thoughts are best forgotten.” Then Xehanort walks out without a word. Then the King asks Ansem about cards and he tells the King what he knows. Then Ansem says “There is still one question that needs be answered.” The King asks what the question is. Then Ansem says “Why do these cards keep disappearing from my hand and back to my desk” as he picks up a card. Then the King asks if he could pick up a card and Ansem nodded his head yes. So the King picks up the Masked Dragon card and the card did not disappear from the Kings hand. Instead the card and the King started to glow and Ansem’s final question was answered. Ansem says “My friend, you just answered one of my final questions to my research of the cards. It is clear that no ordinary person can chose the card but instead card choses its warrior.” Then the King says “What do you mean by one of your final questions answered and warrior?” Then Ansem and the King head outside the castle and Ansem says “I want you to say ‘Come forth Masked Dragon’ and if my theory is correct then there are living creatures in these cards.” The King trusting Ansem does what he said and says “Come forth Masked Dragon.” As the King said these words a red beam of light came out of the card and the red beam of light formed the body of a dragon. Ansem says “My theory was correct there are living creature inside these cards. Now time to figure out how to get these creatures out of the cards.” Then through its thoughts Masked Dragon tells the King “Your Majesty, please tell this kind hearted Sage King that my comrades and I are grateful for everything he has done, but I’m afraid that freeing us from our prisons is a job that he alone cannot do.” The King relates the message to Ansem, but now hearing this Ansem wants help and he asked Masked Dragon how he can do so. Masked Dragon says to the King “First you must find my comrades chosen warriors so that we can tell you what we know.” The King relates the message to Ansem then Ansem says “That is going to take some time to find your comrade’s warriors and I would not know what kind of warrior they’d prefer.” Masked Dragon tells the King what he knew on how a couple of his comrades chose their warrior and says “The Gods chooses someone of royalty however it has to be a princess.” The King relates the last message to Ansem and Masked Dragon returns to its card prison the King tries returns the card back to Ansem but Ansem insisted that the King keep the card as a gift for helping him finish part of his research. Ansem new research on the cards is to find the warriors of the other cards. With that said Ansem and the King say their goodbyes and Ansem starts his research on finding the other cards warriors. While Ansem is trying to find the other cards warriors, Xehanort and the other apprentices begin planning to take Ansem’s research and banish him since he told them to stop their experiments on the darkness in people’s hearts. Ansem the Wise is close to figuring out at least one of the cards warrior when the Heartless appeared in his room. Ansem grabbed the cards and left the castle to find the warrior that resided in Radiant Garden. When Ansem got out of the castle he saw a little girl running from the Heartless and he ran to the girl to protect her when someone appeared in green fire. Ansem asked her “Who are you and why are you on the grounds of my castle.” She replied, “Why I am Maleficent the mistress of all that is evil and I’m here to conquer this and all worlds.” Then Ansem replied back and said, “Well first I cannot let you do that and second why are you having the Heartless attack this poor girl.” Maleficent said, “This world will be mine either way; I also commanded the Heartless to destroy anyone who gets in their way. In other words you and her.” Ansem then said “Well you’re not going to destroy us.” Ansem turn to the little girl and gave her the Slifer the Sky Dragon and Monster Reborn cards. Maleficent ordered the Heartless to destroy them. Ansem told the little girl to repeat after him “Come forth Slifer the Sky Dragon” they said together. After that a dark red beam of light appeared from the card and formed the Egyptian God of Osiris. When Maleficent saw the dragon defeat the Heartless she knew she had to have one of these dragons on her side. Once the Heartless were defeated Slifer the Sky Dragon ask the little girl “If you want to be safe from the darkness I will take you to a world where you will be safe.” The little girl went behind Ansem being scared of the dragon, however Ansem convinced her that she will be safe. So she climbed on the dragon’s back and with a shine of the jewel on Slifer the Sky Dragon head he was able to communicate with Ansem. Slifer the Sky Dragon said, “I thank you for finding my warrior and having me save her before anything could to her but your task is not done yet. You need send the other cards to other worlds so that my comrades can find their warriors on their own.” Ansem asked, “How can I do that?” Slifer the Sky Dragon responded with this, “In order to protect you from those that seek to destroy you I shall send you away from evil in order for you to find the warriors that you seek.” Slifer the Sky Dragon and the little girl flew off but Maleficent sent a meteor shower after them. However Slifer the Sky Dragon opened a portal to escape the meteor shower. While the meteor shower was happening Maleficent said to Ansem “Why don’t you give me a card so that the destruction of your world can go much faster.” Ansem replied to the witch “I shall never give you a card for you see these cards are picking about who they choose especially who is holding the card.” Maleficent said “Very well. Then perhaps this will change your mind” as she attacked him. A barrier from the cards was created to protect Ansem but it was no use Maleficent powers were too strong and broke through the barrier with a card flying out of Ansem’s pocket. Maleficent saw the card and with her powers picked up the Red Eyes Black Dragon card from the ground. Maleficent said to Ansem, “Thank you for the card now I will take the other cards from you.” Ansem then said “Not on your life you witch.” Then Ansem said the words Slifer the Sky Dragon told him “In order to protect you from those that seek to destroy you I shall send you away from evil in order for you to find the warriors that you seek” as he threw the cards up in air. A corridor of light appeared behind the cards and were sucked in transporting them to other worlds. Maleficent now furious said to Ansem, “You poor simple fool. You will regret the day you ever crossed paths with me!” Ansem now exhausted sees six people coming from the castle and Ansem realizes that it’s his six apprentices or so he thinks. For what Ansem the Wise does not realize is that his apprentices already stole his research, gave their hearts over to the darkness and Xehanort took his name. Ansem ask “Xehanort why are you doing this?” Xehanort said to Ansem, “My name is no longer Xehanort. My name is Xemnas and we are tired of following your research. It’s time we take your research into our own hands now.” Ansem shocked at what he heard and told Xemnas “If you go into research that is better left forgotten then you’re not only going to jeopardizing this world you’re going to be jeopardizing all the other worlds as well. Xehanort for once listen to what I am telling you.” Xemnas did not listen and said to Ansem “I heard enough out of you. It is time to get rid of you once and for all.” Xemnas opened a corridor of darkness and pushed Ansem the Wise in it banishing him to the Realm of Nothingness. After that Maleficent and her army of Heartless took control of the world with its residences either being devoured by the Heartless or being forced to leave on a Gummi Ship. Meanwhile Slifer the Sky Dragon is trying to get the little princess someplace that is safe and another portal opens to a world of an island and he knew that it would be safe for her there. As soon as Slifer the Sky Dragon got out of the portal the meteor shower that Maleficent sent after them was behind him. So he knew that he had get the little princess to the island before the meteors could hit them. Almost to the island Slifer the Sky Dragon got hit by a meteor knocking the little princess off his back. Both falling to the ocean but Slifer the Sky Dragon gathered whatever strength he had left to save the little princess. He saved her and managed to get to the shore line of the main island and as he put the little princess down; however Slifer the Sky Dragon now exhausted went back to his card. A young boy was walking to the shore line to see the meteor shower. The young boy seen the little princess and as she was waking up the young boy asked her if she was ok. The young boy went for help and the mayor of the island took the little princess to his house to help her get her strength back and with some time he eventually took her in as his daughter. After she recovered the little princess became friends with three young boys and one of the young boys happens to be the young boy that found her. To Be Continued... 16. Chapter 1: The Journey Begins! "Hi! Sorry to keep you waiting!" said a brown haired man with a matching beard wearing a white lab coat. "Welcome to the world of Pokemon! My name is Birch. But everyone calls me the Pokemon Professor." Professor Birch pulled a small red and white ball out of his pocket. "And this is what we call a 'Pokemon.'" Professor Birch gently tossed the ball and out popped an Azurril, crying out cutely "Zurr!" The screen of the PokeNav Plus tilted as a young boy, ten years of age, looked up as the moving truck he's riding in hit a bump, shaking a little. "This world is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokemon." Professor Birch continued on the screen. "We humans live beside Pokemon, at times playing together as friends, and at times helping one another out. And sometimes, we just like to have fun battling others like us! But as close as we are, we don't know everything about Pokemon. In fact, there are still many, many mysteries surrounding Pokemon. I do research to try to unravel those Pokemon mysteries. But that's enough about me! What about you? Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?" The young boy selected the option for boy on the screen. "Will you give me your name too?" The young boy entered his name, Kyle. "So you're Kyle?" the screen read. Kyle selected the 'Yes' option. "Ah I see! You're THAT Kyle!" Professor Birch responded. "You're the one who's moving to Littleroot Town, where I live!" The truck hit another bump, the doors opening slightly. "Are you ready? Your very own adventure is now about to unfold! Be couragous and leap into the world of Pokemon where dreams, adventures, and friendships await! I expect we'll be meeting again soon! Come see me in my Pokemon Lab!" Just then, the moving truck stopped and the doors opened fully. Kyle got up and stretched a little, putting his PokeNav Plus away in his green bag before dusting off his red and black shirt and black pants. His blue eyes blinked a bit as he stepped out of the moving truck and into the light, looking around at the town he would now call home, just as his mother stepped out of their new house. "Kyle! You're here at last!" she said, smiling as she made her way over to him. "Wasn't it tough riding in the back of the bumpy moving truck all that way?" she asked him. "Not really, mom." Kyle responded, stretching again. "Though it was a little cramped." "Well, this is Littleroot Town." she said. "What do you think? This is going to be our new home! It has a quaint feel, but it looks like it should be a nice place to live, don't you think?" Kyle looked around again and responded "It's not too bad, it's kind of a small town, with only a couple houses, and Professor Birch's Lab." "Yeah, and you get your own room this time, Kyle!" chimed his mother. "Come on. You have to see the inside!" With that, his mother lead him inside their new home. "See, Kyle? Isn't it nice in here, too?" she asked. "Yeah, pretty nice I guess." he said, looking around at his new home. "The moving company's Pokemon even help with the unpacking and cleanup." his mother continued. "They really make moving a cinch!" "Pokemon really are amazing!" he replied, smiling in wonder at the Machoke putting away the boxes containing their belongings. Just then, one of the Machoke walked up to them "Mah, mah, choke..." Kyle's mom turned around and says "Thanks for all the hard work! We really appreciate it!" "Yeah!" Kyle added. "It's so awesome!" "Mahmah choke..." the Machoke said, before both of them walked out of the house. "You should go and see your new room upstairs, Kyle!" his mother said, turning back to him after the Pokemon leave. "Dad even bought a new clock for it to help celebrate the big move. You'll need to set the time, though!" "Alright mom, thanks!" Kyle said, walking past his mother and up the stairs into his new room. He looked around and noticed the map of the Hoenn region, his flatscreen TV with his Wii U plugged in, his giant Snorlax doll, his bed, and his desk with his notebook full of adventure rules he wrote down. He noticed the new clock on the wall next to the map. However, the clock wasn't moving, so he went and set the proper time. Once he finished, his mother came up the stairs, saying "How do you like your new room, Kyle?" "It's really nice, though I'm just glad to have my own room now." Kyle replied, putting the clock back on the wall. "Good! Everything's put away neatly! They finished moving everything in downstairs, too. It really is so nice having Pokemon around to help us! Oh, but you should make sure that everything's all there on your desk." With that, his mother walked back down the stairs. Kyle went over to his desk to make sure everything was in order, it was then that he heard his mom call out. "Oh! Kyle! Kyle!!! Quick! Come quickly!" Kyle turned and bounded down the stairs, seeing his mom in front of the TV. "What is it mom?" he asked, going up to her. "It's the Petalburg Gym! Maybe Dad will be on TV!" she said. "Oh cool!" Kyle said, looking at the TV. There was a man standing in front of the camera with a microphone in his hand saying "We brought you this report live from in front of Petalburg Gym. Next up, a special look at a long-awaited meteor shower in the next star show..." "Oh... It's already ended." his mother said, turning off the TV. "Looks like your dad was on, but we missed his part." "What a shame." Kyle said, a little disappointed. His father, Norman, was the new gym leader of Petalburg City. He'd hung out with his father's Pokemon, all of which were the Normal type, but he'd never seen him battle before. Just then, his mother chimed in "That's reminds me... One of Dad's friends lives in this town. Professor Birch is his name. He lives right next door, so you should go over and introduce yourself." "Yeah! I was planning on visiting his lab too." Kyle said. "Well, I'll be heading out now Mom, I'll see you later!" "Have fun Kyle!" she said, smiling as he walked out the door. He walked over to the house next door, ringing the doorbell. A woman answered the door, saying "Oh, hello. And you are?" "I'm Kyle, I just moved in next door." he said to her. "Oh, you're Kyle! Welcome! We have a daughter about the same age as you. She has been so excited about making a new friend. She should be in her room upstairs. I hope you'll go and introduce yourself!" "Sure." he said. "If it's alright to just go into her room." "Oh it's fine, dear." she said, smiling. "Alright." Kyle said, heading up the stairs. There, he saw a girl tightening the red bow on top of her head, and adjusting the pouch around her waist. "Pokemon fully restored, items all ready, and..." The girl started saying, before she noticed Kyle. "Huh?!" she said, walking over to him. "Who... are you?" "Oh, sorry for intruding! I'm Kyle, I just moved in next door!" Kyle said to her. "Oh! So you're Kyle! Your move was today, huh?" she said, smiling at him. "Well, I'm May! Glad to meet you! I... I actually have this dream of becoming friends with Pokemon all over the world. And then when Dad- oh, I mean Professor Birch- told me about you moving here, Kyle... Well, I was hoping you would be nice and we could be friends. B-but that's just silly, isn't it? I've just met you. Right, Kyle? So what am I talking about..." she started getting a worried look on her face. "Well, I'd like to think I'm nice." Kyle said, smiling back at her. "And I don't seen any problem with us becoming friends!" She looked relieved and said "Thanks!" Then, she looked as if she just remembered something. "Oh no! I forgot! I was supposed to be going out to help Dad catch some wild Pokemon! Kyle, I'll see you later!" With that, she walked past him and down the stairs. Not wanting to linger in her room while she wasn't there, Kyle went down the stairs as well, and out the door. "Well, I guess I'll head to Professor Birch's Lab now!" Kyle said to himself, heading toward the lab south of his house. He found the door open and walked inside "Hello? Anyone here?" Just then, a man with a lab coat and glasses approached him. "Yes?" the man asked. "Um, sorry for the intrusion, but I'm here to see Professor Birch, he's expecting me." Kyle said. "Oh, the Professor isn't here right now, he's out in Route 101 to the north doing field research." the man said. "Oh, thank you, I'll go check there then." Kyle said, heading out the door and towards the route. As soon as he entered the route, he heard a man yell "H-help me!" Kyle ran to see what was going on, to find Professor Birch being chased into a corner by a Poochyena. "Halloo! You over there! Please! Help me out!" he said. "In my Bag! There are some Poke Balls!" "Right!" Kyle said, reaching in the bag to grab one of the three Poke Balls, each containing a different Pokemon. He grabbed one of the balls and tossed it, a Treecko popping out of the ball. "Tree!" it called out, ready to fight. From memory, Kyle knew that Treecko started out with Pound, Leer, and Absorb so he said "Treecko, use Pound on that Poochyena!" The Treecko nodded and swung his tail at the Poochyena, landing a good smack on it's face. The Poochyena shook it's head, and countered with a Tackle, ramming it's head into Treecko's gut. "Ko!" Treecko winced a little from the hit, but turned around and swung his tail at the Poochyena again, with the Poochyena ramming it's head into Treecko once more. Treecko whacked it with his tail one more time, and knocked it out, sending it back into the bushes. "Nice work Treecko!" Kyle said, returning the Pokemon to it's ball and turning towards Professor Birch. "You alright Professor?" Kyle asked. The Professor nodded and said "Whew... I went into the tall grass to survey wild Pokemon when I was suddenly jumped! You saved my hide. Thanks a lot!" "No problem Professor!" Kyle said with a smile. "Oh?" the Professor said, finally getting a good look at Kyle. "But you're Norman's boy, Kyle! I didn't even realize who you were at first. You've grown into quite the young man." "Thanks Professor." Kyle said, rubbing the back of his head. "This isn't the plae for a chat, though. Come along to my lab." With that, Professor Birch led Kyle back to his lab. "So, Kyle!" the Professor said, once they were back at the lab. "I've heard so much about you from your father. But he said that you don't have your own Pokemon yet. If that's true, that was quite the performance back there! Looks like you really are your father's son!" "Well, thank you Professor!" Kyle said, a little embarrassed at the praise. "Oh, yes! To say thanks for rescuing me out there, how about I give you that Pokemon you used earlier?" Birch said, handing Kyle Treecko's Poke Ball. "Really Professor!?" Kyle said, wide-eyed, gingerly holding the Poke Ball. He'd always wanted a Pokemon of his own, and here he was being given one. "Are you sure!?" "Of course! You did save me, after all. While you're at it, why not give a nickname to that Treecko?" "Alright." Kyle said, looking at the Poke Ball. "Yup! That's the spirit! So what kind of name will you go with?" Professor Birch asked. Kyle tossed the Poke Ball, sending out Treecko. He knelt down, looked Treecko in the eyes and said "I think I'll name you... Buster!" "Ko!" the newly named Treecko said, smiling and nodding his head in approval. "You know, if you work with your Pokemon and gain experience, I think you'll make a pretty excellent Trainer." Professor Birch said. "My girl, May, happens to be out on Route 103 right now, surveying Pokemon for me. It might not be a bad idea for you to head out that way yourself. What do you think?" "I think that sounds like a great idea!" Kyle said. "I can't wait to show her my new Pokemon!" "Great!" Birch said. "I'm sure May'll be happy to hear that, too. She can help teach you what it means to be a Trainer. Oh, yes! And if you're ever lost along the way, use the AreaNav on your PokeNav Plus!" "You can use it to see how to get to Route 103, where May ought to be. And if you or your Pokemon get tired, get some rest back at your new house." "Right, thanks again Professor!" Kyle said, returning Treecko back to his ball and heading out of the Lab. He pulled out his PokeNav Plus and checked the AreaNav app. "It looks like Route 103 is to the North. First I have to travel through Route 101, then Oldale Town, then I'll reach Route 103. Alright, time to head out!" Kyle put the PokeNav Plus away and headed for Route 103.
  17. This is a repost, since I didn't think I was getting enough people viewing, commenting, and voting on the thread in Random. Also, I feel it probably belongs here more anyways, since I'll be posting the story here when I start doing it. So, I decided to try and do something I haven't done since I was in high school, try and write a story. But not just any story, a story based on a playthrough of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire I'm about to do. But not any normal playthrough, a Nuzlocke. For those of you that don't know, a Nuzlocke is a special kind of playthrough with three main rules, and several optional side rules. First main rule: The first Pokemon you encounter in a route is the Pokemon you have to catch, it forces you to use Pokemon you wouldn't normally use, as well as giving the added challenge of limiting the total number of Pokemon availabe for you. Rule two: You must give a nickname to every Pokemon you catch, this is to try and form more of a bond with the Pokemon you catch and use. Rule three: If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and must either be released or put in a special box in the PC designated for dead Pokemon, this is to add an extra challenge to the game and force you to plan ahead before each battle, as well as add some drama as you lose a Pokemon you named and grew attached to. However there is a special variation you can do for 6th gen (X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire) called Wonderlocke, which is basically the same thing, but each Pokemon you catch then gets sent to Wonder Trade, and what you recieve is what you use. Although, I haven't decided whether I want to do the traditional or Wonderlocke, which is why I put up the poll. Also, I may ask for potential nicknames for Pokemon here in this thread, while I'll be posting the chapters of the story in a thread in the creative media forum, which I will link to this thread once I post the first chapter. So, I have two questions. First is the poll question: Should I stick with the traditional Nuzlocke, or go for the Wonderlocke? Second question: Would you be interested in reading the story of my adventures in this Nuzlocke, which I will also add a personality and dialogue to the normally silent protaganist? Well, Traditional Nuzlocke won, so next question is what should I pick for my starter? Treeko, Torchic, or Mudkip? Alright, now that everything's been decided, I'll be using this post to keep track of all my Pokemon, since for some reason only the link and trainer card can fit in my sig. Pokemon with Kyle "Buster" the Treecko: Male "Bandit" the Zigzagoon: Male "Pooch" the Poochyena: Male "Erza" the Ralts: Female Pokemon in PC None Pokemon no longer with Kyle (aka those that died) None
  18. I couldn't sleep and a whole lot of this happened. I apologize. Introduction The first thing The Boy knew was that he didn’t feel right, even though he couldn’t have told anyone what right was supposed to feel like. He found himself in front of a ruined building, which was surrounded by an iron fence and enormous trees, but he didn’t take much of that in as a vortex of blinding light had suddenly appeared in front of him, depositing a hooded man in a black coat onto the relatively well manicured lawn. The Boy vaguely decided that he had a really bad feeling about this turn of events, though he only blinked despondently as the foreboding figure approached him. “You seek answers,” the figure said, flinging his hood off with a flourish and whipping his long silver hair in the suddenly relevant wind. He waved his hand through the space between himself and The Boy, trailing some shiny symbols that The Boy figured he should probably understand, but he was still too disoriented to remember how to read. “I can give you purpose,” the man continued, clapping The Boy on the back amiably as the letters magically began to rearrange themselves before disappearing into a cloud of sparkles . “Oops. Well, I haven’t mastered that trick yet, but the point is, I know pretty much everything about you and I think that Roxas would be a really awesome code name. What do you think?” Code name? Roxas was baffled, but at least the bad feeling was gone. He shrugged, and the man clapped his hands, causing the vortex he’d come from to reappear. “That’s right, the new you! I think it’s best this way, what with your---unfortunate past,” the man finished, staring sadly into the distance. “I’m Xemnas, by the way. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Roxas.” Roxas allowed himself to be led into the swirling mass of light, only half listening as Xemnas told him his plans for the future, all of which ended with his group of vigilantes saving the worlds. To be continued...
  19. The first story of the series is here for any new readers: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/83888-my-kingdom-hearts-story-two-universes-collide/ The sequel begins here after the events of Two Universes Collide. Summary It's been a while since I defeated my number one enemy. I have fought in a dark war beforehand though. I fought in the Keyblade War and lived to tell the tale. Not many can do that. My close encounters with darkness and my dark fate have been hard and challenging to overcome and I almost fell to darkness, but I already became my ancestor as he took up residence within me and so he helped me bring me back to the light. With bringing me back to light, I fought a dark warrior with a heart covered in darkness, a Xehanort who became the fourteenth darkness, and a giant that was bigger and stronger than Godzilla. However, these were mere tastes of darkness overall. My true challenge against darkness came against my number one enemy. He was darkness and did what darkness did. After defeating him by escaping death and using the power of Kingdom Hearts, my light was strong and grew stronger. My friends also overcame powerful darkness too and their lights grew stronger. However, I forgot a very important thing. There is a saying "the stronger one's light, the stronger their darkness". I would eventually realize that I had to fight my own darkness, while clashing with a rival who is trying to replace myself and my friends. While I fight my darkness and beat back the rival, I would discover something extraordinary. I would discover a hidden treasure on Earth as old as the Keyblade War and in a place I would least expect; tucked away where no one on Earth would ever find in a place hidden to the world.
  20. This story occurs during the events of Coded and Dream Drop Distance. *Note* YouTube videos are used as soundtracks for the fanfic, it's meant to be played as you read on. In the midst of unconsciousness the boy opens his eyes. The area surrounding him is a bright white, nothing but light can be seen. Everything appears to be blurry in his eyes. He looks around to find a woman standing in front of him, he's unable to see any of her distinctive features. The woman begins to speak; "You are finally awake, this is the realm where all hearts begin and end." Her appearance swiftly shifts from a man with white spiked hair, Black Trench coat, Heartless Enigma in his chest, to a Young boy with short spiky brown hair, with a gray gauntlet in his left arm, wearing a white sweater, back to her initial blurry appearance. She then continues to speak forward; "In your case, your journey ended and so was your heart. But you're special, our master has taken an interest in you. You were brought here by him, you have a special role to fulfill. Now do you remember your name? Say it loud." The boy tries to recall his name, then says; F-a-y-t--L-e-i-n-g-o-d- "Fayt Leingod". The boy says out loud. "Good. You've had a very long life, you faced many ordeals and pain in your past time. But alas it'll get worse in this life, you'll face very struggles ahead." Flashes of images were seen in Fayt's head. "You have a journey ahead of you, just remember our master is watching you. Don't disappoint him." The woman disappears. Fayt slowly closes his eyes. -------------- After the events of Kingdom Hearts II, Sora has returned to Destiny Islands with his friends reunited. Donald, Goofy, and King Mickey returned back to the Disney Castle reuniting with their loved ones. The worlds has come to peace, but the ending was false. It all felt like a calming before a storm, a calamity. The environments felt off, the worlds weather patterns changed. Everything felt off, and Mickey caught wind of it. "Hmm something doesn't feel right, can you feel it Donald?" Mickey asks. "Yesp, Dasy is happy to see me!" Donald replies. "Uhh Donald, I don't think that's what's he's asking." Goofy replies. "I feel so uneasy, put I can't figure out what it is." Jimmy cuts in the conversation. "I feel it to, perhaps the answer is in the journal". "Hmm perhaps so, but we need to investigate more than just the journal. And I know we can't do it with all three of us together. We'll need some outside help, but who?" Mickey continues to be stuck on his thoughts. "Gwosh why not ask Sora and Riku?" Goofy Suggests. "Because Sora just got reunited with his friends, we can't just get in the way of that!" Donald interrupts. "Donald's right Goofy, we shouldn't ruin the time they're spending together, they've just finished their journey. We can't just give them another quest after all they've been through, they deserve this. Besides, we can't deploy them......until we know what we're up against. " Mickey agrees with Donald. "Gwosh, sorry." Goofy frowned. "But the real question is: what are gonna do?" Jimmy inquires. Mickey shrugs Donald's head rises, "Ohh! I know where!" Everyone stares at Donald. "Let's go to Hollow Basti- I mean Radiant Garden." -------------------------- Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Jimminy arrived at Radiant Garden. They were at the town square, Jimmy and Mickey were worried. "Hey guys!" Yufie shouted from afar. She ran towards them to greet them. "If it isn't Donald, Goofy, uhh Jimminy?, and...." "---?!" "YOUR MAJESTY?!" Yuffie was shocked. "Hey Leon it's the King!?" Yuffie shouted. "Well if it isn't the King, it's been a long time." Leon Greeted Mickey. "So where's Sora? He never stops by." Yuffie says. "He's reunited with his friends, he's at the Destiny Islands." Goofy responds. "Oh." Yuffie looks disappointed. "So he finally got reunited with them huh? I'm happy for him." Leon Responds. Yuffie shakes her head in agreement. "So what brings you here, your Majesty?" "Well there's something going on that's making me unsettled. I can't put my finger on it, but I feel that there's a massive change that shouldn't happen. Have you noticed anything different Leon?" Mickey asks. "Change? .......... ............. ....,.......... ....?! Thinking about it now, there's been something out of place. It's not the world that's changed, but rather the Heartless instead. They've been showing signs of change. As though they've started to think for themselves, as though--they're evolving.....adapting." "Oh!? That's right! The Heartless have also been showing signs of agitation, they're getting harder to kill." Yuffie agrees with Leon. Yuffie continues on; "I mean of course this world change since the help of Sora, Tron, and you guys. But this change is different from the one's you're feeling." "But what could it be?" Donald asks. "It could be because of the after effects when Kingdom Hearts blew up." "Wha-- you guys saw that?" Donald asks suprised. "Mmhmm" "Oh yeah it was plain as day. I didn't think you guys had it in you." Leon responds. "But it could also have to do with something else you guys did when you guys fought the leader of Organization XIII. You guys also sealed the door to twilight, so that should have an huge impact with destroying Kingdom Hearts. But these changes would've been happening in an long term without us noticing. Something isn't right, we would be helping you, but our hands are tied. We're trying to prepare for the worst to come, but I don't think it's enough for what's to come. I can feel it, it's nasty." Leon said. Jimminy says; "I can actually distinguish what this change in nature is, it feels like something isn't suppose to exist. Like a-" "Paradox." Yuffie interrupts. Everyone fell silent. The atmosphere became more intense. "Where's Merlin?" Donald asks. "He's not here". Yuffie responds. "Leon do you know anyone that help us." Mickey asks. "What about Sora" "No, we don't need him yet. I feel as though he'll be if big help for us later. Besides, he needs a break." "I see, so you save the trump card for an emergency. I like that strategy. If you need manpower, I got one person that could be of help. His name is Albel Knoxx, also known as the "Heartless Hunter". He's a wondering swordsman, like his nickname, he's Very known for killing heartless. He's probably killed more Heartless than, possibly stronger than Sora. He's the one mainly responsible for Hollow Bastion's restoration, he's cleaning the world from the heartless." Yuffie added on; "Yep, it was filled with heartless. He's also killed all the heartless around the black castle after Organization XIII's invasion." Leon continues; "His skills are top notch, but..." Leon gave a disgusted expression. Yuffie interrupts; "His personality is very unpleasant. He has no further regard to life in general." Leon agrees with Yuffie. "Gwash, should we trust him?" "Well, I guess we have no choice." Says Mickey. "Leon, Take me to Albel." .......................... On the cliff side, there was a skinny male, old twenties, long red and yellow hair, both sides are braided 3 foot long. He has shodachi katana sheathed on his left leg, has a clawed gauntlet on his left arm. Almost like an auto mail enhancement, it has a special powers stored inside. He's wearing an gray trench coat with light Samuria armor. His name is Albel Knoxx (Star Ocean: Till End Of Time) His reasons are currently unknown. "Albel, these people came to see you" Greeted Leon. "Best of luck." Leon and Yuffie headed back to Merlin's house. Albel looks at Mickey. "Well if it isn't the king, it's a pleasure to meet you." "Hello Albel, I would like if you could help us." "What good would it do to me?" "We need the help." "Humph it's not my fault you're weak. How pitiful, you're a king and you can't even tend to your subjects. Even look at your crew, they're all pathetic." "Who do you call pathetic?! Don't you dare speak to the King like that?!" Donald screamed at Albel. "Well Leon was right when he said his personality is unpleasant." Goofy said. "Unpleasant personality? I see, suit yourself. Besides, if I help you, how will it help me?" "Well, I'll--" They all felt an incredible tremor coming from the main plaza. A bright light was shown. Leon, Yuffie, Albel, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, and Mickey head towards the main plaza. They see a young man unconscious on the plaza square, his hair is blue? "Could this be like the one ten years ago?" Yuffie thought to herself. "Master Aqua?" Mickey thought. Albel saw the blue haired boy, he looked absolutely shocked, his knuckles were shaking. "Fayt?" "Wha-? You know this guy" Donald asked shocked. Albel didn't respond. He walked up to unconscious boy and gently picked him up. "So you do know him huh?" Yuffie says. "But where did he came from? This is exactly like the incident Ten years ago. Says Leon." "Tsk. Your Majesty, take me with you." "What made you change your mind now?" Donald snickers. "Shut up imbecile. You make a great roast." Albel responds. Donald's face turns red, he was ready to charge at Albel but goofy stopped him. "What changed your mind? Whatever it is, I'll find out" Mickey uses a teleportation magic to teleport everyone back to the Disney Castle." ---------------------- Some time has passed, Albel has not said a word to anyone. Donald has lost his patience-- right when he's about to snap, Chip and Dale enters the garden. "Hey everyone, the boy's awake!" Upon hearing the news, Albel's expression lightened. Everyone entered the infirmary. Albel rushed to the boy asking questions in an exciting tone: "Fayt! Fayt! Are you alright? What happened to you? I've been looking for you for so long fool, you made everyone worried--" "Wh-who are you?" A silent tone was heard from the boy. "What?" "Who are you?" "You don't remember I'm Albel-" "Albel? Nice to meet you I'm Fayt Leingod (Star Ocean Till End Of Time)" "What's going on?" Albel looked disappointed, yet sad. Right when he's about to continue speaking: *Alarm ring* Chip and Dale rushed toward everyone and screams, "Everyone, there's heartless entering! They're strong so watch out!" "Tsk." Albel grabbed his Shodachi and heads to the garden. Everyone followed Albel to see him slaying heartlesses one by one. They were knighted heartless like the ones that invaded Holliw Bastion. Albel did a crescent slash around the heartlesses killing multiple at once. *Double slash* He then finishes with *Fang thrust*.He's killing heartlesses one by making even the inhabitants of the Disney Castle silent in awe. As they were watching, the Heartless begin to attack Mickey and the crew. Donald uses *Donald Thunder* Goofy uses *Goofy Spin* Killing multiple heartless Mickey castes *Mote of Light* Shooting an ball of Ragnrok light to the heartlesses. Fayt just stood watching until one of the heartlesses attacked him. Fayt dodged the attack and stole it's sword. "Huh? How did I know how to do this?" Fayt became confused on his fighting ability. Donald finishes the heartless with Donald Fire. Everyone continues to fight the heartlesses, they continue to appear one by one. "How are they able to slip in here, we have the cornerstone of light!" Donald screams. "You all are not bad, just don't get in my way." Albel snickered. The heartlesses ceased their attacks, everyone looked confused. The heartless backed downed, stepping back away. "I guess they had enough of dying one by one." Albel boasted. *Alarm rings* Chip: Everyone, three extremely strong heartlesses have arrived." Dale: They're all S and one SS The three heartlesses arrived. One is a thin knighlike heartless with green garbs, an Bow and Arrow, and and Enquisiter hat with an red feather on the side. Another is a big, burley knight heartless, and barbarian shield, and an Spartan spear. The last Heartless has two lancers, only a normal creature can barley hold one with both of their hands. Knighted heartless with an long white cape. All three of them have facial features but an knight helmet, small white bulb like eyes, and an white cloth covering a part of their head. There's an dark aura surrounding them. "It's a pleasure to meet you all" !? !? !? !? Everyone is shocked Goofy: They can talk!? To Be continued

  22. So it's been a while since I've posted any music in here, or anything at all for that matter. But since I'm getting more and more hyped about Kingdom Hearts again, I decided I should prepare something new, so I'm finally working on a medley I promised years ago! however, I need you're help to arrange it so that it's as enjoyable as it can get! At the moment, every single track that is an option on the poll has already been arranged, or partly arranged for the medley. The ones that go on for the longest time are Darkness of the Unknown and Rage Awakened: And right now every song is in the same order as in the poll. Is there any composition you guys don't find too enjoyable? Anything you want to suggest that I include? A track in particular you'd like me to work really hard on? Please let me know what you'd like to hear on a Kingdom Hearts piano medley! As soon as I'm done with it, I'll post a recording
  23. O N T H E I N S I D E {KH Fanfiction} AN – I did this in like 10 minutes as a prompt for my English AP class Prompt was, write a story about anything but every sentence has to start with the next letter of the alphabet. Hope you like it~ Word count – 229 Agonizing, never ending hate. By now, the hate was normal. Could be the fact that the boy was literally a being of hate. Drowning in the hate that once belonged to his other half. Every day, he would fight until he could no longer stand. Forcing himself to become stronger for the special day. Gathering up more and more hate. Hateful and broken. Inversed emerged from his out of control emotions. Just to please his Master. Kindness was not one of Master’s virtues. Losing was something the Master didn’t appreciate, and he would make sure you got the message. Mostly everything displeased him. Never had the boy been shown any type of kindness and hospitality. Oblivious to such feelings, he was cold blooded. Pain was also very common. Quickness and caution was the key to avoiding this. Revenge was what he aimed for. Strangling the life out of the idiot he shamefully called his other half, was all he craved. To end the misery. Unlocking Kingdom Hearts with the mighty X-Blade was what he was made for. Victory was only moments away. Whatever were to happen, no matter what, he was going to WIN Xehanort was going to pay for everything he’s done. Yet, the boy was much too broken and power driven, that it all slipped away. Zoophagous, he still craved that power he never managed to get. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vanitas x Reader I hate you...so much You stared at him. The boy with the ebony hair and golden eyes. He was never the nicest, which was obvious. He was cold, he was harsh, and he was ruthless. He trained you, sure he beat the shit out of you almost every time and you were pretty sure you had broken almost every large bone in your body thanks to his method of training, but he trained you to be strong nonetheless. That was years ago. You had thought he died, back when Ventus sacrificed himself to destroy him and the X-Blade. You were pretty sure he did actually. And yet, here he was. Standing in front of you, staring at you with those chilling, golden eyes. How? You had no idea and frankly, you didn’t want to care. Sure Vanitas was a bad man but spending the amount of time you did with him allowed you to see him in situations you didn’t plan to see him in. In all reality, Vanitas was a sad man. Broken and confused. Of course he would never admit it but you saw it. Those nights after Xehanort and Vanitas finished their training, you could truly see who Vanitas was behind his tough man exterior. Xehanort was cruel, crueler than how Vanitas was with you. He showed no mercy and he would repeatedly beat Vanitas. It was hard to watch, so you didn’t. You stayed in your little hideout in the Keyblade Graveyard, waiting for him to comeback. He told you how he felt, what he thought while you helped heal him up, using bottles of Cure. He’d cry to you and you’d let him lean on your shoulder just too totally ignore the fact it happened the next morning and have it all happen again, night after night. And you enjoyed it. Not the part where Vanitas gets his ass kicked of course, but the moments you shared. But nonetheless, he was a bad man. You knew that much. He betrayed you, almost killed you with the X-Blade, killed your old friend Ventus and then had the guts to somehow comeback and confront you. “(Y/N)…” Without hesitation, you wielded your Keyblade and swung at the man; hard. He went flying with the impact of the Keyblade as it hit his abdomen. Your grip tightened on the hilt as you heard him crash into a nearby wall with a grunt. She took a deep breath before giving the man a side way glance as he stood up from the rubble “T-tsk…You got stronger…I’ll give you tha-“ He was cut off as you ran full speed towards him with your blade up, both your Keyblades clashed, sparks went flying at the impact, both your eyes narrowed before you pushed yourself back. “Are you going to let me tal-“ “damn you” You hissed out in response before you started slamming your Keyblade against his as he tried to shield himself. This was a tactic he taught you. Brute force. No matter if you broke your bones doing this, it was effective nonetheless. Vanitas was on his knees due to the pressure in no time. Either, he’s lost his skills or you were just too strong for him but once you saw his current position, you kicked at him, he was too busy blocking your blade to block your foot from hitting him straight in the gut. As he curled over, you kicked him straight in his jaw. You took a step back as he fell sideways onto the ground. You stared up at him before kneeling down next to him You reached out you hand, offering him a hand. He spat up blood before wiping the blood from his nose. He stared at your hand in disgust. You rolled your eyes; a Cure bottle appeared in your hand “You look so pitiful Vanitas. You’re so damn weak” But you still cared about him. I love you all the same
