  1. How the live action worlds should look seems to be a very controversial subject. There are two main groups: the people who want them to adjust the look of the movies to make them slightly more cartoony and fit in better, and then the people who think that they should make them as realistic as possible and as close to how they actually look in the films as possible. I, personally, am a part of the second group. I absolutely loved seeing Sora and the rest of the cartoony cast in live action settings. I think it's very interesting and pleasing to look at and just the whole idea of it in general is amazing to me. I'd absolutely love to see Sora and the gang exploring the various live action planets of Star Wars or the live action settings of Asgard or Narnia, while fighting alongside live action characters. Many people seem to think it doesn't make much sense to have live action movies in KH, but I think it makes complete sense. Every world is different and has different settings and different people. Some, with different styles, such as Halloween Town, and I think the concept of live action movies as worlds fits in with that theme perfectly. When you first arrive at Port Royal, Sora even mentions that this world looks strange, which I think is awesome. I dunno, I just love the idea of a contrast of art styles, while many other people seem to disagree. What are your thoughts and opinions on this?
  2. Although I think Kingdom Hearts should stay Disney only, I still think it's a interesting topic to talk about. If I had to choose one it would be anime. What anime you ask? Well I know this is probably stupid and you might hate me for this but I think Sword art online would work well in Kingdom Hearts! I could kind of see it being like Olympus coliseum from Kingdom Hearts 1, with the floors and stuff. I could see it being really fun! What do you think?
  3. I'll be explaining the various kinds of enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe, how they're created, what happens when they die, and what their goals are. If you feel you are very familiar with the details and lore behind these enemies, then this post is not for you. Over a long time playing the Kingdom Hearts games, I've notice many people left confused about these enemies, whether it be in real life, or online, so I'm making this post to hopefully clear up that confusion. Enjoy! (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here.) What are Heartless? Heartless are the main and first enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. Most of them are ink black in color and only act on instinct. They can be seen in various of the many worlds and realms in the universe of Kingdom Hearts. The stronger your heart is with the darkness, the more powerful your Heartless you produce will be. There are two types of Heartless: Pureblood Heartless and Emblem Heartless. What goal do Heartless try to achieve? Heartless mainly attempt to find and devour hearts, whether it be the heart of people, or the hearts of worlds. When they devour the heart of a person, then that person becomes a Heartless as well. Heartless, along with other beings strong with dark powers, are able to use portals called Corridors of Darkness. This portals allow them to travel from world to world and from realm to realm. It is dangerous for just anyone to use these portals however, because it is exposing you to direct darkness and it could affect your heart. That is why Heartless mostly use them since they are beings of straight darkness. How are Pureblood Heartless created? Pureblood Heartless were the first types of Heartless to exist. Pureblood Heartless are also known as natural Heartless, since they exist from natural causes. There are two ways a Pureblood Heartless can be created. The first way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created, is when someone succumbs to the darkness in their heart. Once this happens, the darkness inside their heart will devour their heart, then that darkness becomes a Pureblood Heartless. The second way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created is simply by drawing parts of the darkness out of your heart. Only beings that are strong with the darkness are able to do this, such as Xehanort. For example, in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Xehanort was able to create Neoshadow Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Similarly, Riku in the first Kingdom Hearts, was able to create an AntiSora Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Pureblood Heartless are simply darkness of the heart, made flesh. When a heart is unlocked or succumbs to the darkness, the darkness within comes out and becomes a Pureblood Heartless, and devours the heart while it's at it. When a Pureblood Heartless devours someone else's heart, then the darkness within that person's heart will come out and become a Pureblood Heartless as well. When Heartless devour the heart of a world, that world falls to darkness, meaning it ends up in the Realm of Darkness. How are Emblem Heartless created? Emblem Heartless were originally created by a machine made by Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise. This machine reproduced the process in which Pureblood Heartless are created. This means that this machine was able to produce artificial Heartless by making hearts be consumed by darkness. Emblem Heartless are essentially darkness that has a trapped heart inside, unlike Pureblood Heartless which are essentially darkness that have devoured the heart and become one with it. Emblem Heartless can also be created when an Emblem Heartless consumes someone else's heart, just like how Pureblood Heartless are created when a Pureblood Heartless consumes someone else's heart. What happens when Heartless are destroyed? When you destroy a Pureblood Heartless, the heart within them isn't visibly/physically released, but it is definitely freed. The freed heart will eventually end up turning back into a Heartless. When a Pureblood Heartless is destroyed by a Keyblade, then it's freed for good. It goes into a sort of limbo state and waits for the corresponding Nobody to be destroyed so that it can combine back with the body and recomplete the original person. If the person has no corresponding Nobody, then all you have to do to recomplete them is destroy their Heartless (with a Keyblade) since their body is already waiting in the limbo state. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed, the corrupted heart that's freed will end up turning back into a Heartless, just like the Pureblood Heartless. Except the hearts are visibly freed. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed by a Keyblade, the heart is freed for good and goes into the aforementioned limbo state and waits for the Nobody counterpart to be destroyed, just like the Pureblood Heartless. If there is no Nobody counterpart, then all you need to do to recomplete the original person is to destroy the Heartless with a Keyblade. Them being destroyed by a Keyblade also allows Organization XIII to be able to collect the hearts before they get a chance to recomplete. What are Nobodies? Nobodies were the second enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. They are mainly white in color, and they lack hearts. Many Nobodies also use Corridors of Darkness as well. Since they have no hearts, Corridors of Darkness are a huge convenience for them since they can use them without being affected. What goal do Nobodies try and achieve? Nobodies do not have a direct goal. Unlike Heartless, Nobodies have a sense of self, so they are basically free to do what they please. Most of them however, work together to achieve the one thing they truly want: their hearts. Since Nobodies have no hearts, they do not have emotions or feelings. They do however remember what it was like to have emotions and feelings. How are Nobodies created? When somebody loses their heart and become a Heartless, their body and soul fade away and wait for its Heartless counterpart to be destroyed by a Keyblade so the original person can be recompleted. If you had a particularly strong heart however, then your soul will continue living on inside of your body, therefore making your body live on as well. This is what a Nobody is. The stronger your heart was, the more humanoid and the more like you, your Nobody looks. People with slightly weaker hearts, become less and less human looking and take the form of creature type beings that somewhat resemble Heartless, other than the color differences. Organization XIII, a group of powerful Nobodies, are able to convert other powerful Nobodies into lesser, creature-type Nobodies, such as Dusks, as well, presumably using a machine to do so. What happens when Nobodies are destroyed? If a Nobody is destroyed, then it fades away. When someone's Nobody and corresponding Heartless are both destroyed, then that original person will return as a complete being, with heart, body, and soul all intact. (The Heartless needs to be destroyed by a Keyblade). If somebody didn't have a strong enough heart to produce a Nobody, then simply destroying their Heartless with a Keyblade will make them return since their body and soul, the things that would have created a Nobody, have already been destroyed. When you return as a complete being, you have all of your memories from when you were a Nobody as well as your old memories. You do not remember your time as a Heartless though. Other Information Nobodies are actually able to regrow hearts of their own. It is currently unknown what the specifics of this are and what the exact process is. Nobodies have the memories of when they were people. What are Unversed? Unversed are beings created by extremely strong negative emotions. They spawn from Vanitas and his emotions particularly, presumably because there is no other being with negative emotions as strong as his since he is a being of pure darkness. The negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical form, which is what Unversed are. Their goal is to do whatever Vanitas orders them to do, and when they are destroyed, their negativity flows right back into Vanitas. What are Dream Eaters? Dream Eaters are beings that exist and are born in the Realm of Sleep. They can also be created artificially. They are the Realm of Sleep's own personal way of darkness taking form as creatures. They are also the physical embodiments of dreams. They consume dreams. There are two types of Dream Eaters: Spirits and Nightmares. Spirits eat bad dreams, while Nightmares eat good dreams and plant bad ones. When they are destroyed, they seem to simply vanish, but Dream Eaters essentially work the same way dreams do since they are the physical embodiments of dreams, so all you'd have to do to get a Dream Eater to return after being destroyed is to dream it up again. That would be pretty difficult though since you can't really control what you dream about. Sora and Riku used fragments they collected from Nightmare Dream Eaters to artificially create their own Spirit Dream Eaters. The Master of Masters artificially created Spirit Chirithy Dream Eaters as well, probably using the same method as Sora and Riku. That is what we know so far about all the enemy types in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Now, I will explain various characters' involvements with these enemy types and how they relate to them. Sora In the first Kingdom Hearts, Sora stabbed himself in the heart with the Keyblade of Heart. This unlocked his heart, therefore making the darkness in his heart come out and become a Pureblood Heartless. When Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, he had Kairi and Ventus' hearts inside of him. This also created Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Roxas is a special Nobody since he was created by a unique circumstance. Since Sora had Ventus' heart inside of him, Ventus' heart went with his body and soul (Roxas) and went inside of Roxas. Kairi's heart returned to her body and she was recompleted. Since Kairi is a Princess of Heart, she has special light abilities. Since this is the case, she was able to purify Sora's Heartless and bring him back to his human form. Sora was able to return back to his human form without the need and use of his body or soul, which is an extremely unique circumstance. He had technically become a walking, talking heart, until Roxas returned to him. Another thing to mention is how Sora's Heartless had a sense of self. When you willingly give in to the darkness and become a Heartless, then your Heartless will have a sense of self. Roxas Roxas is the Nobody of Sora. He took on the appearance of Ventus since he has Ventus' heart inside of him. Roxas has since returned back to Sora, and Sora is complete again. Roxas lacks his memory from when he was Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Kairi Kairi is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, so she doesn't have any darkness within her heart whatsoever. Since this is the case, when her heart left her body, no Heartless was created. Her heart took refuge within Sora and was later returned to her body when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart and she was recompleted. Since she is a Princess of Heart and couldn't produce a Heartless, no Nobody was created either. Her body did not fade away since she had a strong heart, but it did not turn into a Nobody either since she had no darkness within her heart to turn into a Heartless, so her body stayed in a sort of comatose state until her heart returned to her. Like I stated before, she could not produce a Nobody since there was no darkness within her heart to produce a Heartless. But, when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, Kairi's heart was released, which then created a Nobody of Kairi since Sora did have darkness within his heart. Naminé Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi that was created by Sora instead of Kairi, as explained above. Since she was not created by a body or soul, she technically doesn't exist and shouldn't exist, but she does anyway. It is an extremely unique and special circumstance. Since she was created by such a unique circumstance and has a unique bond with Sora since she was created by him instead of Kairi, she is able to manipulate Sora's memories and the people's memories who are close to him. She has since returned to Kairi and Kairi is a complete person again. As stated above, Roxas has no memories of his time as Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Naminé lacks her memory of her time as Kairi for this same reason. Naminé doesn't have her memory of her time as Kairi because Kairi never even had a Heartless to begin with. Terra-Xehanort Terra-Xehanort, also known as Apprentice Xehanort, is Terra's body taken over by Xehanort and is being used as a host body for Xehanort. He worked as an apprentice under the scientist, Ansem the Wise, so he can get close to the technology and resources that he has. He tested on different people and their hearts to see what affects different tests had. All of his tests ended in the people's hearts collapsing. He locked these people up in cells in a dungeon and since their hearts were collapsing, the darkness within them came out and consumed their hearts and became Pureblood Heartless. Heartless were very rare before these experiments occurred. He then created another test. He put alive people and dead people in the cell with these Heartless. The Heartless went for the alive people, because they had hearts. This caused the Heartless to increase in numbers. Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise, then created a machine. This machine was the machine stated earlier that artificially created Heartless, known as Emblem Heartless. Later, Terra-Xehanort turned most of the apprentices into Pureblood Heartless by stabbing them all with his Keyblade. He also succumbed to the darkness and became a Pureblood Heartless himself. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is the Heartless of Terra-Xehanort. He was created when the Robed Figure let himself be consumed by the darkness in his heart, therefore becoming a Heartless. That is what Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is. He had a sense of self, just like Sora's Heartless did, because he willingly became a Heartless. He is one of the only people to retain a human appearance after becoming a Heartless. He has since been destroyed by Sora. Scar Scar gave into the darkness in his heart, which caused the darkness within his heart to come out, consume his heart, then turn into a Pureblood Heartless. Scar retained his regular appearance, much like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He also had a sense of self, because he willingly became a Heartless. After Scar's Heartless was defeated, a strange and unique phenomenon occurred. Beings known as The Ghosts of Scar were formed from the lingering darkness of Scar. It is unknown why or how this exactly happened, and it is unknown if these "ghosts" would be classified as Heartless or not, but they were able to merge together to create an Emblem Heartless known as a Groundshaker, which is an even stranger phenomenon that has no current explanation. Xemnas Xemnas is the Nobody of Terra-Xehanort, created when Terra-Xehanort succumbed to the darkness and became a Heartless. Xemnas has since been destroyed by Sora. Since both Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody have been destroyed, Xehanort has returned as a complete person. Vanitas Vanitas is the darkness from inside of Ventus, taken humanoid form. Ventus was used by Xehanort to try and fulfill his plan of recreating the χ-blade. To recreate the χ-blade, two beings, one of pure light, and one of pure darkness, need to clash. So, Xehanort extracted the darkness side of Ventus' heart from within Ventus and it took a physical, humanoid form, known as Vanitas. Since Vanitas is a being of complete darkness, without a single bit of light within him, he produces extremely strong negative emotions. These negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical forms, known as Unversed. Riku In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Riku is considered to be a Dream Eater, because he has the ability to dive into Sora's dreams, and defeat the bad dreams, just like a Spirit Dream Eater would. That's it! I hope this was able to help anyone who was puzzled or somewhat confused with any of the enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below.
  4. For KH3, would you want the Gummi Missions to be replaced by an open-world Ocean Between where you can freely fly the Gummi Ship through the Ocean Between to the Worlds while fighting Gummi Heartless and Nobodies along the way? I'm all for this idea completely. I wouldn't want it to be too huge and I'd want the distance between worlds to be about as long as it takes to complete a Gummi Mission from KH2. Gummi Missions are things that many casual KH fans and hardcore KH fans complain about, so I think this would be a great way to turn Gummi Missions into something amazing. It would also be cool to see what the Ocean Between truly looks like canonically since it's sort of hard to tell what it looks like as a whole from the few Gummi Missions there have been in the past. It would also be neat to see what the transition between going from the Realm of Light to the Realm Between looks like and see how the scenery changes. It would be so cool in my opinion to be able to freely pilot the Gummi Ship and customize it more than ever before and adventure through the Ocean Between while coming across hoards of enemies and maybe even getting to be able to land the Gummi Ship on meteors, asteroids, and various other structures and getting out of the Gummi Ship to fight Heartless and Nobodies on them. I also want to mention that I think the warp option should definitely still stay. If you don't want to fly to world to world after you did it once, you shouldn't have to. What are your thoughts on this?
  5. Ok I basically made this to ask about preferences on the stories for the worlds. I would like to know if people would rather the worlds follow the stories of their respective movies with no relevance to the plot similar to the later games or if they would want the worlds to have their own unique stories with slight references to scenes from the movies, and have the worlds actually have importance to the plot overall. I'm not sure if BH6 is going to be relevant to the plot, but I do know that it is going to have it's own story.
  6. I enjoy revisiting worlds. It adds on to the story and gives the world a good difficulty spike that makes it feel worth it to come back. It is especially nice if I liked the world.
  7. Pretty straightforward game right here: Fill in the blank, and think of a phrase that represents the world’s worst example of whatever you put in. And then suggest an example for the next person. Here are some examples of my own: “Next Door Neighbor” ‘Hey, just bought a new stereo. Hope you like Katy Perry.’ “Doctor’s Visit” ‘Fair warning, this needle is, like, seven inches.’ “Thing To Say/Do At A Funeral” ‘May I see the body? I’d like to squeeze her tits one last time.’ Now you try.
  8. Seen people talk about the inclusion of Wreck it Ralph in the game, but only as a summon because getting the license to use the video game characters that appear in the movie would be too hard. My problem with this is that the video game characters that appear in the movie have no relevance to the plot at all they are just cameos, and can be taken out easily. The movie takes place mostly in sugar Rush. Game central Station could be included, but I don't feel like it's an area that would seem too odd not being full of people. The train station in twilight town is not packed, but it didn't feel too strange, and the emptiness of worlds is one of the things that really bothers me although this mostly only happens with the Disney worlds.
  9. Basically I'm wondering if anyone thinks there are any other Disney villains besides Maleficent, and Pete that seem like they would fit traveling to other worlds. I'll just two right now Personally my choices would be Dr. Facilier because I think a con man traveling around worlds tricking people int deals would work really well, and I think he could be a lot more convincing than Pete. Though I know a lot more people would rather have the princess and the frog as a world, but I'm not really a fan of transformation worlds. I'm also a huge fan of Dr. Facilier, and wouldn't want to restrict him. Next I would put the Beagle boys up as Pete's minions That second one isn't really an actual villain, but three characters, and they have have showed up already in Dream drop Distance in the Country of the Musketeers world in Dream drop distance working for peteso I could see it happening again. Dr. Facilier though is unlikely
  10. In anticipation for the upcoming D23 I've been going a few of the old details and reached an interesting dilemma; should new worlds follow the traditional formula of following the world's film events with the inclusion of Sora and co to the plot or as was revealed by Roy Conli at the last D23 have a new world world with a post film plot? Looking at what worlds people are hoping for further raises the question, since we know some film's plot would fit into the KH Jigsaw perfectly such as Traeasure Planet/Frozen etc the list goes on. However I personally wouldn't be against more post film worlds. It would allow some worlds where Xehanort's reason to interfere would be cloudy to understand and it would make the worlds more unique too. That saying, I feel we should have a fusion of both formulas in order to truly mix up the worlds
  11. In KH1 I really enjoyed the Trinity marks and all the other little puzzles, and extra things like the shrinking potion in Wonderland that made me feel invested as part of the world by giving me multiple ways to get around, and it also required backtracking. I'm just wondering if anyone else would like to see a return of this.
  12. I was just wondering if anyone else was interested in world specific enemies, and by that I don't mean heartless that are themed around that world, but something specific to it. In Pirates of the caribbean we have the pirates, and in sleeping beauty Maleficent has her minions that were in the movie. In land of dragons it was a disappointment because we didn't face the Hun army but just a group of heartless, and I'm wanting some enemies that go along with their movies or the theme at least. Bandits, thugs, and other simple enemy character types.
  13. I've recently watched Inside Out, it was such a good movie! The story was great. It got me thinking though, the movie heavily deals with emotions and memories, which Kingdom Hearts could really use. I mean, there IS a Kingdom Hearts game that's about memories (Kingdom Hearts Chain Of MEMORIES). After googling some thoughts on this subject, I got an idea of what the story could be. In the midst of the battle between good in evil in Kingdom hearts III, Sora gets so caught up in focusing to end the war that his character starts to change for the worse. (Assuming that Vanitas comes back alive) Sora gets in a battle with Vanitas; however, because Sora's change in character, Vanitas wins the battle and, using magic, isolates Sora somehow in Riley's mind. When Sora wakes up he finds himself in the HQ. The five emotions later find out that Sora is not an emotion, although he looks somewhat like one (I wrote this just because I don't want Sora to be in human form in Riley's mind; In my opinion, I think that will look weird). Joy, being the happy person she is, gives Sora a tour of the area. Looking at Riley's memories with her friends and families, Sora realizes the mistakes he's done and tries to go back to the real world, but than things start to get bad. In the real world, Vanitas starts to feed negative thoughts too Riley; therefore, causing the Unversed to appear in Riley's mind taking away the core memories. After retrieving all the core memories, Sora's keyblade lights up enabling him to return to the real world. Well, that was my idea of Inside Out being in Kingdom Hearts III. What are your thoughts? Thanks for reading!
  14. As everyone knows after completeing worlds KH games, you would usually be rewarded with a Keyblade that contains certain powers/abilities. Not to mention a distinct look of a Keyblade from a specific world that reflects that specific world somehow. Though only 3 worlds have been confirmed for KH3, I was wondering your guy's ideas for the new Keyblades in KH3. Post some Keyblade Ideas, with different powers or transformation ideas! Upload some pictures of what you think could work in the game and would look great if Sora were to use it in battle! Get inspiration from the Disney films you love and incorperate a unique Keyblade that would be worth unlocking after completing that world! I don't know if there's a thread on this already so sorry if there is!
  15. We need your vote! Go here: http://doodle.com/2b59izbtscf84wnv and let us know what Worlds you want to see in KH3! Over the many years of kingdom hearts games we have seen many Disney worlds come to life; but alas there are many more than have previously been shown. We would like to know what Disney worlds (from a movie) you would like to see in Kingdom Hearts 3!
  16. Took a while to make, but here is a list of the many properties owned by either Disney or Square Enix that have yet to be made into a world. Not saying all these should be worlds, but some have some interesting elements that the series could use in the future (summons, boss battles, etc.) Also, not all these are probable but I decided to put everything noteworthy on the table 'cause who knows what might happen in the future: The Reluctant Dragon (short)DumboBambiIchabod Crane (short)Lady and the Tramp101 DalmatiansThe Sword in the StoneThe Jungle BookThe AristocatsRobin HoodThe RescuersThe Fox and the HoundThe Black CauldronThe Great Mouse DetectiveOliver & CompanyPocahontasThe Emperor's New GrooveAtlantis: The Lost EmpireTreasure PlanetBrother BearTeacher's PetHome on the RangeThe Princess and the FrogDinosaurChicken LittleThe WildMeet the RobinsonsBoltTangledWreck-It RalphFrozenBig Hero 6Song of the SouthTreasure Island20,000 Leagues Under the SeaOld YellerMary PoppinsHoney, I Shrunk the KidsThe Mighty DucksThe Santa ClauseFlubberThe Country BearsThe Haunted MansionNational TreasureSky HighEnchantedRace to Witch MountainThe Sorcerer's ApprenticeJohn CarterThe Lone RangerMaleficentThe WuzzlesAdventures of the Gummi BearsDarkwing DuckThe Mighty DucksBonkersGargoylesDougRecessThe Proud FamilyTeamo SupremoStanleyKim PossiblePuccaDave the BarbarianBrandy & Mr. WhiskersSuper Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!American Dragon: Jake LongThe Buzz on MaggieLittle EinsteinsYin Yang Yo!The ReplacementsHandy MannyPhineas and FerbFish HooksGravity FallsToy StoryA Bug's LifeMonsters, Inc.Finding NemoThe IncrediblesCarsPlanesRatatouilleWALL-EUpBraveMarvelStar WarsIndiana JonesLabyrinthMonkey IslandGrim FandagoThe MuppetsBear in the Big Blue HouseHerbie, the Love BugWho Framed Roger RabbitKilala PrincessSpectrobesEpic MickeyDragon QuestChrono Trigger Tomb RaiderHitmanDeus ExThief Full Metal Alchemist*** Soul Eater*** ***Thanks to REOrulz for pointing out these missing propeties
  17. I've had this thought floating in my mind for a good while after watching the Disney classic, 'Mary Poppins'. Out of all of the live-action Disney flicks that could get their shining moment in KH, I personally think 'Mary Poppins' would be a good addition for one reason; Being a good and fun musical world. I think it'd be fitting for Sora, Donald, and Goofy in particular. Now, I am sure that most of you remember the infamous Atlantica musical world back in KHII. People either liked it, hated it, or had mixed feelings about it. I'm in the boat that was mixed, but one thing was for certain; KHII Atlantica should've been an optional world to complete. That's my hope if a 'Mary Poppins' world is possible. If you do happen to complete it, the player could get a specialised keyblade or magic spell for their efforts. I'm saving my ideas for a YouTube video I'm working on, so I want to hear your ideas for a scenario and gameplay of this world. Go on, shoot.
  18. Now, I know what you’re probably thinking: “Pandy? Really? Another post??” But have no worries, kids! I’ll make this inquiry as snappy as possible. (No promises, though…..) Okay, so here’s the thing: we all know that according to the legend told by Kairi’s grandmother, all of the Worlds were once connected, and everyone lived happily in the Light, right? But, uh...one question… How did that work? Imagine: an entire world filled with unbelievable diversity...human beings with unexplained accents conversing with talking lions of the Savanna on a daily basis….. Would it be offensive to have a pet, considering the fact that your neighbor might be a talking mouse or duck? Are there such things as nations? Was Mulan’s world once just a random Great Wall 10 miles from Twilight Town? What about rulers and kings? How much territory did the Disney Kingdom cover? How much territory did the Ansem’s Kingdom cover? When things started getting bad, did the kingdom of Cinderella’s World ever threaten to rage war against the Empire of Mulan’s World?? Did the mer-people get a say in any of this? Sometimes people die in Kingdom Hearts, but apparently they can come back….did that work for ALL people back then? Did some people just die normally and go to heaven? Prayer has been mentioned a few times in this series, and in De la Cloches you have Frollo quoting the Bible, so is there a Jesus? And if so, does that mean people in this universe can go to Hell? And if that’s the case, which hell do they go to?? Auron went to Hades’ Hell, so would a really really bad person like Xehanort go to Chernabog’s Hell? Granted that might be a little worse, considering you’d have enormous demon sitting on you for all eternity, but that’s besides the point. I still firmly believe that people get reincarnated in the KH universe, but would it work for everyone, or just for the people it pertains to? Also, How did/ do genetics work? Ancestry? Are there actual nationalities, or are you identified solely by which town you came from? Example: “Ah! A pleasure to meet you, my dear. Where are you from? "Oh, I’m from Radiant Garden! " "Really now? Has your family always lived there?" “Well, we actually migrated from Nebelheim, but our friends from the lovely city of Shibuya were able to help us acquire citizenship! My uncle was a fisherman in Neverland, but was sadly eaten by Monstro. It’s been a struggle, but ….I think we are finally moving on!” “Ah, I see! And what would explain your British accent? Was there ever a point in your life that you lived in Great Britain?” “Great Britain?? What’s a Great Britain?? It’s natural for half of our citizens to speak this way. You can’t blame genetics! I got this accent from my mother’s side.” “Ah! Very good, very good…” You see what I mean? We know that Europe and China exist, due to the presence of Peter Pan and Mulan’s worlds, but what about other countries and provinces? Did they not exist, or did they exist, but alongside the other various worlds? Where would alien Worlds fit into the mix? (Such as the ones located in Deep Space/ Stitches realm?) And if each star is really another World, then where are the real stars? Are there such thing as real stars? Does each World have it’s own sun? How about galaxy? Also, a part of what country would Destiny Islands be considered? Radiant Garden? Twilight Town? Are they their own provinces? And which was the preferred method of travel? Did most people drive automobiles, ride animals, or other methods? (such as transformed Keyblades) How about education? And speaking of which, how would education work now? Do Math and Business studies include the economics of Munny? What about when all the Worlds were one, did they use Munny, or some other form of currency? Does Science class include the basics of cloning, and how to properly create life from the memories of a human being? Is there an English class? Japaneses class? What’s the basic language now? What was the basic language when the Worlds were one? Was there a universal language? And one more thing: Destiny Islands is a tiny world. If there is very rarely newcomers and such...wouldn’t that create a deficiency of citizens who AREN’T related? Imagine….about 50 of the same folks living on a single island…...there has GOT to be some crossing of family ties going on here. Is it too far-fetched to say that Riku and Sora are distant cousins? And if so, wouldn’t Kairi have an even greater purpose, considering she’s from a completely different place, and would NOT risk upsetting the gene pool, or contribute to the inbreeding? Just some things I was curious about. Feel free to share your thoughts!
  19. Here be possible KH3 Spoilers. You have been warned. For everyone else, enjoy. Hi everyone, how's it going? So, in light of the new KH3 footage that was shown at the 2.5 launch on Monday, I started thinking, in regards to the new Heartless shown, could we guess as to what new worlds might be featured in the upcoming game? Well, its worth a shot so here goes. Lets start with the heartless that stood out to me the most. There was a heartless described in the footage as being some kind of archer with a bow and arrow on its back/holding them. Of course, we don't know what it really looks like yet, but we have yet to come across a heartless type like this. Now, it is a common fact that the heartless of all the previous games have more or less been reflective of the world they are found in. There's the ghost and mummy heartless in Halloween Town, Sea creature heartless in Atlantica, African type creatures in The Savannah, and so on. So what worlds could this archer heartless belong to? There are only a few worlds I can think of that would have an archer type heartless; Robin Hood, Pocahontas, The Sword in the Stone (?) and Brave. I think, out of the four, TSITS is the most unlikely simply because we already have characters from that world already in the games. Namely Merlin. Also, I would think that a heartless from that world would be based more around magic than any carnal weapon like a bow and arrow. But then again, you never know. ^.^Next is Brave. This might be more likely since Merida's bow is one of the movie's icons. But again, like TSITS, I would expect a heartless from that world to be more centered on magic since one of the main motifs of that movie is magic. The last two worlds are Robin Hood and Pocahontas. These two have an equal chance of being the most likely world to harbor an archer heartless. The main weapon of choice for everyone in Robin Hood are bows and arrows and they are, like Brave icons of that world. The same with Pocahontas. Especially since the arrow is used as an allegory for fate/destiny in the movie's plot. Now lets move on to the gladiator/knight heartless. Judging from the descriptions of these particular heartless, there is little doubt these guys might very well belong to the Olympus Colosseum. Except for one strange feature........bull horn helmets? Those aren't exactly iconic of ancient Greece or Rome. When I think of bull horn helmets, I think of Vikings and Medieval knights. Only three worlds come to mind that could feature heartless like these; Brave, TSITS and Sleeping Beauty. I'll leave you guys to speculate on that one.The last two are the heartless with angel wings, and the firey blue heartless. The winged heartless sounds a little like one we've seen before, the angel star heartless. But this one is described as a soldier heartless with wings. The other one is said to look like a blue rhapsody with blue flames around it. For these last two, your guess is as good as mine. it could be these are just variations of the ones we've seen before and not really specific to any world in general. They could be hybrids, or they could even belong to a world/worlds not related to Disney........maybe a FF world? *Crosses fingers* Anyway, so that's my theory on the new heartless. What do you guys think?Edit: Since we now have a more accurate description of the heartless seen in the new trailer, it looks like the horned heartless resemble the mythical Minotaurs. This falls more in line with a Greek/Roman based world. So these heartless might very well belong to the Olympus Colosseum.
  20. Many of the Disney worlds used so far have used up the source material, are about to use it up, or just don't have interesting/usable plots in their sequels. In every KH game the Disney stories were tweaked to include Heartless, Unversed, Nobodies, Org XIII, Final Fantasy characters, etc so it's not like Disney is opposed to the KH team altering Disney stories. I think they should start creating new KH original characters that belong to specific Disney worlds in order to extend the story of those worlds. These characters would look like they are apart of the World they're in and in some cases the true Disney characters would already know of them or have some sort of connection to them. This would give the opportunity for new villains and heroes of particular worlds. They don't need to do it for every world but worlds like the ones the 7 Princesses of Heart are from and ones that have frequently been used (Neverland, Halloween Town, Olympus Coliseum etc) could use new characters specifically made for them to keep things interesting. They could maybe even throw in some new characters for worlds we haven't been to yet so we that we won't know the outcome of that world's story. I don't know if Disney would allow that but it should be fine so long as the old Disney characters aren't completely overshadowed. If there is a new character in a world that is important to the main story it wouldn't immediately obvious since a lot the worlds would have new characters that aren't important to the overall story. I think doing this would be a great opportunity to keep the Disney worlds from feeling like filler and seeing as the worlds need to be more populated anyway it would go well with that. Do you guys think they should do that? What specific worlds do you think need it most? Are there any unusable Disney works that you think could become usable if the KH team put in new characters?
  21. So Kingdom Hearts X the online browser that features worlds of Agrabah, Olympus Coliseum, Dwarf Woodlands and Wonderland. But is it possible that Kingdom Hearts X could be updated and feature other worlds like Disney Castle, Pride Lands, Land of Dragons, Neverland or any other from the franchise. Cause the team have said that the game is not finished. Im just curios
  22. There are probably some worlds we don't want to see in KH3. I don't want to see any cars from pixar cars, planes and Im pretty tired of Wonderland
  23. If you could live in any Kingdom Hearts world, disney or original, where would you live and why?. I would definitely, without a doubt, live in Twilight Town as its so peaceful, the sun never sets (probably) and the struggle seems like a fun tournament. Plus the small jobs are awesome, for me at least.
  24. Are you just as tired of entering worlds who are not populated with npc's and you feel like your alone running around defeating heartless. This have been an issue since KH, COM, BBS, RC and 3D the only KH game that didn't have the issue was the Kingdom Hearts 2. For ex after entering Olympus Coliseum in BBS you enter the arena you hear a crowd cheering but there's no one there just you and the heartless not to mention the main town in Thebes. Dwarf Woodlands is a huge forest with no alive creatures maybe a bird or two but no more. Castle of Dreams everyone is going to the ball in the kingdom only there's four attendance awkward. Enchanted Dominion quickly becomes a boring world because of the lack of npc's I mean did everyone die in this world. These worlds in the original KH game that lacks of npc's Atlantica: I expected a lot more fish, mermaids and mermans Agrabah: It's a huge market only there's no one there Wonderland: Only one area populated Deep Jungle: Where was Mr Porter and Tantor Neverland: Guess Hook fired all his pirate members 3D La Cite Des Cloches: Why is this world so empty Symphony Of Sorcery: It's a really lonely world The Country Of The Musketeers: The same as SOS Pranksters Paradise: For gods sake they could have populated some donkeys the coachman and why wasn't Honest John and Gideon included as they were supposed to be. Do I really haft to continue Im really tired of empty worlds and I hope that this won't be the case for Kingdom Hearts 3 cause they could make npc's to actually join in a fight and help and as of KH2 give you clues on your mission
