  1. Alright so, I think I've solved some of the main mysteries regarding the series around the world of union cross but I'm no expert so if I missed anything or you could add to the discussion that would be great, but I really think I'm on to something here So, what we know so far, the world of Union Cross is a virtual replica of the world of Chi which is the actual story of the events that led to the keyblade war of old then after the world perished and was reborn the the data of what happened was used in creating a virtual copy which would be used to study that history and how to prevent that scenario from happening. After the events of the war take place in Union Cross we start meeting new characters that weren't present in the original Chi, the first one we want to focus on is Ventus, for obvious reasons, we know he comes from a time that's definitely after the keyblade war, after the worlds were reborn and separated so how is he back? another charater we meet is Lauriam the original Marluxia(and just now we were introduced to Erlena who later becomes Larxene) what's important about Lauriam is that he looks noticeably younger than Marluxia (we know people may change a bit when they become nobodies but nothing as drastic as aging 10 years) so I believe Lauriam is the key to connecting Ventus to this era, we have just been looking at it backwards. It is not that Ven traveled back in time, but the world of Union Cross was created much much later, specifically around the Birth By Sleep Era, there is a lot of evidence that leads me to believe this is the case like This would place Lauriam in the correct age range (he was probably born around the same time as Isa & Lea, whose younger selves we met during BBS) Ventus is shown in his BBS clothes except missing one thing, his should pauldron which he uses to summon his armor, but! there is one instance during Birth By Sleep where he was seen wearing no pauldron, during his time training with Master Xehanort to extract his darkness before his heart is fractured and falls in a coma This takes place during a flashback and there is an unespecified amount of time that takes place during the gap between Ventus' heart being fractued and his arrival to the land of departure, it was shown that Xehanort was ready to give up on Ven waking up and took him to destiny islands to die I propose that during that gap Ven was used to experiment and research the new virtual world that was developed, but who created that world? Xehanort in an attempt to unlock the secrets of the past? No, he has never been shown to be know about creating that sort of thing, but we know of another character who has done just that, recreate worlds in the datascape and transport people there without them even knowing it I believe Ansem the Wise created the world of Union Cross, true he has never been shown talking about the keyblade war but I think he is more connected to the past than we know, first of all, he is ansem the WISE, king of radiant garden, so it would make sense for a wise king to know about the events of the past that regular people ignore, even Kairi's grandma knew a bit about how the world ended and was reborn so it is confirmed that knowledge of the old world reached radiant garden at least in some form So, Ansem the Wise managed to get a hold of Ven's body for a while, scanned him and added him to the world, maybe he thought that as a keyblade weilder his heart would help his simulated world be more accurate Here's where I must say I DO NOT CLAIM TO KNOW HOW ANSEM THE WISE GOT A HOLD OF VENTUS, maybe Xehanort, having his own desire to know about the past allowed the experiment to take place and after he Ventus could no longer be useful, that's when he took him to destiny islands (Xehanort would obviously have to hide his identity since when Ansem find the amnesiac Terra-nort and hears his name he does not react to it, and it would make sense, Xehanort wouldn't like others, like Eraqus, discover what he was doing) Earlier I said Ansem the Wise (ATW) may know more about the world before the keyblade war than he lets on and that there is something else that connects him to the past, something that I noticed long ago but couldn't find a solid reason for it to exist in such detail During Kingdom Hearts we not only learn about ATW's knowledge of creating virtual worlds and encoding real world objects into data, we learn that the old mansion in twilight town serves as his hideout/research lab but if we explore the place and pay attention to it's surroundings we can find something peculiar, all around the mansions we see iconography of something very important, we see images and sculptures of unicorns adorning the whole placethe unicorn being the symbol of one of the foretellers in chi/union cross So what if ATW in his research over the years found this information and tried to learn more about this old world (maybe he believed Ira as the Leader would be the one who held the answers so he aligned himself with his union) Skipping over a bit, during the new cutscene added to Re:Coded we see Maleficent talk about the similarities to between the datascape and the tome of prophecies and a few weeks ago we discovered that the Maleficent in UC is not a virtual character but the true maleficent, whose heart traveled back in time after being defeated in KH1 and is trying to change her fate, but instead of traveling to her true past she was (somehow) trapped in a virtual past by a hooded character refering to himself only as "darkness", since they don't want her interfering with the future and the plans they have, this had led many to believe this "darkness" to be Xehanort since he knows about time travel and has big plans in store, but I don't think that's the case, I believe, again this darkness is our man, Ansem the Wise, he also has been conducting research all this time and would want an uncontrolled outside force to interfere with it, and taking care of the easy one, the figure calls himself "Darkness", what other name has Ansem given himself? DiZ: DARKNESS in Zero So Ansem as the administrator of this virtual world would have no problem in controlling anyone inside his world/software this would help his research to continue on. And I believe this research, this knowledge of the past studied to prevent a future disaster is the very same research that has been alluded by him all these games, the very same research that he hid inside Sora while he was asleep, the knowledge to finding yourself or your lost friends in your hour of need Back to Maleficent, we know she traveled back in time and I stated how the world of UC was created around the time of BBS, but we don't really know how long it lasted so it could be that, maleficent traveled back to the time of BBS trying to undo her defeat during that game, but was trapped in a virtual world by Ansem and during the time she spent there the other events of BBS took place and then the betrayl by Xehanort and the other apprentices, when ATW was betrayed and sent to the realm of darkness that's when Maleficent, without Ansem eye on her, was able to escape and return to the real world, to the time of KH2 So in conclusion Ansem the wise wanted to know more about the keyblade war in order to prevent it and protect all worlds, using the knowledge he gathered over the years he created a virtual simulation of that era (probably thanks to Xehanort's own plans) added Ventus in an effort to enhance the world by adding a true keyblade weilder, Lauriam and Erlena were also added (we could think of them as a sort of Beta testers), they might've lost their hearts at the end of the simulation in whatever way that happens, at the same time Maleficent is trapped in the virtual world by Ansem to prevent her from changing history, the simulation continues, Xehanort takes Ventus back to destiny islands and the events of the games take place from BBS to KH2 by this time ATW has been sent to the realm of darkness and returned as DiZ, maleficent escapes the datascape (because UC is just another datascape, that's why the world of the journal in Re:Coded seems familiary to her) and Ansem after experiencing all he has, and gaining all that knowledge over the years, takes his data and places it inside a sleeping Sora, hoping that somehow the experiences of the past help save the future PHEW.... so that's it. I know some parts are out of order but im writting all this from ideas I had on my head and giving it structure as I go on, I hope you found in interesting and bring forth your own ideas about what you think I got right or not so right Thans for reading! May your heart be your guiding key
  2. So if I were to rate kingdom hearts 3 in a scale of 1-10, I’d have to give it a solid 9. Here’s what I would improve on.
  3. As we all know so far, the members of the true organization are: Xehanort Ansem seeker of darkness. Xemnas. Young xehanort. Marluxia. Vanitas. Larxene. Xigbar. Vexen. Demyx. Luxord. Data Riku or repliku. And Xion. So, I believe that there is at least 1 person that will change sides, obviously the majority wants it to be Xion, but I believe that she is a 2.0 version of Xion created by vexen, with no emotions, so she is out of the picture, The person I believe that will change sides and help Sora is non other than Young xehanort, from the last trailer, we saw that he gives him advice on who to go after by telling him "find the hearts joined to yours" and warning him that his rash way of using his power will be his Downfall, further more in the opening cinematic we see a slightly younger version of him with dark gray eyes watching over a purple Myst that resembles Darkness, indicating that he had been possessed by it, I don't really know how he will change his course of actions, but my gut tells me that he will be the one to change sides. If anyone has an other person in mind comment here and let's discuss 😉
  4. Hello all, This week has been incredible for KH3, not only do we have a concrete release date, but two world confirmations, a lot of plot content and the return of my favourite character- Luxord. However, I'm writing today about Riku Replica. In particular, what context will he have in KH3. From the get go. I do not believe that Replica will be a Member of the Darknesses. Yes, people can point out that the eyes could be later corrected as Marluxia's were to show he has been norted, but my idea runs a bit deeper than that. There seems to be an emphasis on 'helping' someone in need. Sora seems determined to help Roxas become his own person, Mickey was trying to help Aqua (that went well..) and whilst this is speculation I cannot see Lea abandoning Isa either. Now going back to Replica, we have a similar situation to Roxas where both characters were determined to be individuals and their main connections ( Sora and Riku) accept this and do not seem them as fakes or a nobody. Carrying on, in the D23 trailer, Riku leaves his broken Way to the Dawn keyblade for 'his other me' which was proven to be Replica. My concept is that Replica will mirror Riku's journey from the dark to the light or at least attempt to. Riku as a character can control his darkness and has reached masterhood. Hence, why I believe he will gain his new keyblade after initially being defeated by Dark Aqua. However, I believe Riku will discover a manner to help Replica in the Realm of Darkness and that's why his old Keyblade is left behind. This is because Replica will be starting his own 'Way to Dawn' and I think not only will we see a keyblade break in the game, but also mend. What would be the point of this? We've seen countless characters go from being Denizens of the Darkness to the light, however I do believe there are two potential aspects important to the story. Firstly, as mentioned above there is the theme of helping others in need and Riku's connection to Replica is no different, also look at the latest trailer- Riku does not seem alarmed to see Replica, but on the contrary seems happy. Secondly, and I admit this is my more radical possibility, but could Replica be needed for the final battle? If we believe Aqua has been norted, then I believe that Ven has been compromised. Terra's position is still unknown- so leaves the lights needing numbers. Not only does Roxas' return become plot relevant, but so does Riku Replica. Replica could very easily decide to help Riku in the final battle and potentially, we could have a scene where Replica sacrifices himself for Riku too. Either way, I do not believe Replica will be 'bad' as such and I think he will play an emotional bond in Riku's arc. I hope you all enjoyed E3 and are well!
  5. [sign-ups for anyone still interested!] Chapter 1: Deja Vu “Are we really at the point where we’re sending out a doctor to the front lines?” - Lieutenant Jacob Snider, Field Commander of the Warriors of Light. Disney Castle, General Quarters “This is General Jason Schindler, Leader of what remains of the Warriors of Light, signing out for what may be the last time.” With a click and a sigh, Schindler ended his personal diary to an electronic recorder that was in his hand. A red light blinked three times on the small handheld instrument before going dark, signalling the instrument’s offline status. Not a moment too soon, the war weary leader heard a knock on the bedroom door. “General?” the muffled voice informed, “You’re needed in the throne room.” “I’ll be there, Snider.” He coolly replied back. Looking out beyond his rather cozy and luxurious bedroom through the ornate window, the general couldn’t help but feel conflicted at the sight of the azure blue sky. It looked comforting, but he knew better; beyond the sea of tranquil blue was a hostile place, and the thought of the ever encroaching darkness only made his heart sink just a little more. His anxiousness was reinforced as he witnessed a squadron of aircraft fly past, marking the end of one watch shift and the beginning of the next. It’s as if… I felt this way before? Shaking off the oddly negative feelings, Schindler took a deep breath and parted the doors that isolated him from the cruel reality that he now faces. I wonder what His Majesty has in mind to turn this tide of war? Disney Castle, Courtyard The large passenger doors of the angular transport ship hissed open as the craft made a gentle touchdown in the rather beautiful garden. The warm, bright sunlight flooded the compartment, illuminating the valuable cargo inside: People. But not just any people. No, this transport was special. Within the metallic walls of the ship were the finest that the Warriors of Light still have. They had stayed back at the front lines, fighting tooth and nail to buy their comrades the time they needed to evacuate the desperate civilians off the falling worlds of Traverse Town and Radiant Garden. These people witnessed the atrocities of the darkness first hand; some were powerless to stop innocent lives being taken away in front of their eyes, others were simply too late. Whether the sights had affected these people remained to be seen, but it was clear that many would never be the same after the traumatic events that had transpired within the past three days. It is here that we find Lieutenant Mors, Lieutenant Armis, Keyblade Wielders Rei and Reiner, and Technician “Niner” skirting the edge of the passenger compartment. Behind them were a platoon of soldiers. Every single one of them had a blank expression; none bothered talking to each other during their transit from the fallen worlds to the safe haven of the castle. The engines quieted into an a low, idling drone. A tall, well built man in what looked to be like keyblade armor approached the ship. His short, blonde hair glowed in the sunlight as the short blue cape that was attached to his left armored pauldron fluttered in the downdraft of the ship. “Welcome to the Castle!” the man saluted to the newcomers. His piercing green eyes were quietly assessing the veterans, checking for the tell-tale signs of lingering distress. “There are specific individuals here that command has taken interest in. If there is a Captain O’Malley, Lieutenant Mors, Lieutenant Armis, Keybladers Rei de Wynter and Reiner Anthem in this transport, please proceed towards the briefing room immediately. It’s down the hall over there, directly across the door that leads into the throne room.” "O'Malley is MIA, sir." One of the soldiers responded. "W-... What?" "You... weren't updated, sir?" The man balled his fists, but kept a straight demeanor. "No. I was not informed. Thank you for the information, soldier." Disney Castle, Infirmary “More wounded incoming!” A royal nurse announced to the staff that was currently on shift, “everyone to stations!” Amidst the chaos of triage and preparing the area for new patients, it is here that we find Alexiei Valkire in his natural habitat. Gurneys started coming through the double doors that isolated the room from curious eyes. As the initial patients rolled in, the staff jumped into action. It was just another average day after all, and most of the nurses and doctors have gotten enough on site training since the war began to start specializing in certain types of wounds. “7 burn patients!” “2 frosties with 1 criti-” "Set them over here! I need 4 bags of-" “ICU we got a thunder patient!” “Can we really save her like this?” “4 slashed. 2 critical, 1 mortal and 1 minor.” “Damned heartless…” As the doctors and nurses scurried about, a member of the elite guards entered the facility. Carefully staying out of the way of the medical staff, he made a beeline to Alexiei and tapped him on the shoulder when the time seemed appropriate. “Alexiei Valkire?” the man asked, “I apologize for interrupting, but you are needed in the throne room immediately, by order of command.”
  6. I have a theory of what's in the box that the Master of Masters was dragging. I think it might be the 13 pieces of darkness of the shattered χ-blade. The χ-blade shattered into 20 pieces: 13 of darkness and 7 of light. We know that it broke into 7 pieces of light in order to protect the hearts of the Seven Princesses of Heart, but we don't know exactly what that means. Especially considering the Seven Princesses of Heart weren't alive way back then. But maybe it means that the χ-blade shattered into 7 pieces of light which would then become the Seven Princess of Heart's hearts in the future? Also, we were never told what happened to the 13 pieces of darkness. If a heart of pure darkness and a heart of pure light clash, then the χ-blade is recreated, but it is unstable. In DDD, it is revealed that Xehanort plans on capturing the Seven Princesses again so that they can clash with the 13 Seekers of Darkness to recreate the χ-blade. But, how can this be? The 13 Seekers of Darkness don't have hearts of pure darkness, so how would them clashing with the pure-hearted princesses recreate the χ-blade? I think I might know the answer. I believe that Xehanort wants to find that case that the Master of Masters has or maybe he already has it. If the 13 pieces of darkness from the shattered χ-blade are in that case, then Xehanort can take them and put them into each of the 13 Seekers of Darkness' hearts to turn them into hearts of pure darkness. Then, he can clash with the Princesses of Heart to recreate the χ-blade, but this time, a much more stable one. It'd actually pretty much be the original χ-blade because it'd be created from the original shattered pieces. So yeah, what do you think of this theory? Anything I could add to it?

So...what if Sora wasn't saved in Dream Drop Distance? This is my idea of what would have happened. Hope you all like it!
  8. Hello again! It's been awhile, anyway after replaying the series again and reflecting on the trailers, my biggest question now is regarding the concept of light and is it strong enough to withstand the darkness? From the start of the series ( I'll start chronologically here with the Chi series), light has been viewed in a positive light and as both players and our characters we tend to favour the light and it is seen as worthwhile of protecting. In philosophical terms, the light represents peace, tolerance and I'd say justice. Whereas the forces of darkness are seen to bring ruin, destruction and misery to others. Throughoutnthe series, light always triumphs. Whether this is merely stopping the disney villains succeeding in their plans or the overall game with the organisation being defeated. The closest the darkness has been to winning is during BBS with the fate of the Ven, Aqua and Terra, but even then the darkness did not win as X blade was destroyed and Xehanort did not win outright. In relation to KH3, I think it's high time the light was challenged and perhaps even defeated ( temporaily as I'll explain). Whilst we can theorise that the seven guardians of light will be established and will probably win the new Keyblade War, I think the darkness should challenge the light like never before. I want one of either Maleficient and Pete or Xehanort to be successful. I'll explain how and why each scenario could work and how light would be challenged. Let's start off with the obvious scenario and that's Xehanort. The darkness could challenge light in numerous ways, either act as a barrier to prevent the lights forming and require a change of tactics ( say one of the suspected lights cannot be saved in time for the war or despite Merlin's best efforts, Lea or Kairi isn't ready) then the darkness would have the upperhand, maybe prompting Sora to take extreme measures to bring Roxas back? Another way the Xehanort scenario could work would be that Xehanort' wins and the lights are defeated. My biggest fear would be an imbalance and I would not advocate this. However, let's say the X blade is formed and briefly darkness is in control, how would light retaliate? We don't need to necessarily kill any of the lights of to have a ' dark' story, but if the war tilts towards the darkness, then in the finale of the game, we could see how light responds to facing defeat and make the victory seem hard won and justified. Maleficent would be my preferred choice to tilt things towards the darkness. We know she's looking for the box and I'm banking on her finding it. The rest of this scenario depends on what is inside the box... I don't think it will be the fragments of the X blade as that would be too obvious and it wouldn't make sense why Xehanort didn't try and find it througout his master hood. I'm leaning towards it either being related to the Book of Prophecies or something unexpected ( perhaps the MoMs heart?) thus when Malefiecient finds it the contents will be a surprise and present a new threat to the light. We know she isn't actively aiming to get in Sora's way, which is why having her be successful is preferred. She would present Sora with a new challenge and one which must be dealt with, consider it another arc in the game. This would be a diversion from the battle with Xehanort and would be unexpected to both sides. It would be highly unlikely Xehanort had precautions in place for such an event and the light would be forced to act rashly to prevent her succeeding. Also from a plot perspective, this could be how the series continues, let's say the box opens and darkness consumes a world and during a heated battle a single heart escapes somewhere, alluding towards someone or Maleficient summons future characters to our world and one escapes and awaits their own destiny.... Either way, the concept of light needs to be challenged and darkness needs to have momentum. If the light wins easily, then the threat of darkness is diminished. we know the game will be darker, and people will suspect deaths, but I feel as if darkness is handled well then light can be challenged without death. In my opinion we need to see light close to expiring, we need to see those on the side of light make rash decesions and feel hopeless, likewise we need to see darkness in it's glory, if we're going with a reason for light to win, have darknes become overconfident and cause it's own defeat. To conclude, the series has expanded from having the light triumph relatively easily, it's high time the concept of darkness provided a true challenge and one that should have an element of success.

  10. So, a crack theory occured to me the other day. It's very very crack-y and doesn't make a lot of sense, but I thought it was an interesting thought nonetheless. We know from Birth by Sleep that the X-blade can be forged through a high intensity clash of two opposite poles of pure light and pure darkness. Note that when we saw Ventus-Vanitas fused in BBS, it was heavily implied (and I believe even outright stated by Xehanort), that they literally WERE the X-Blade. When Ventus defeats Vanitas and rips apart both of their hearts, the X-blade is destroyed. This hints towards the X-blade being a sentient entity, or at least having the potential to be one. a combination of two hearts of equal and opposite light and darkness. With this in mind, what if we assume that the same could be said for the original X-blade? That the original X-blade from the Age of Fairytales was also a sentient entity, potentially formed from a high intensity clash of two hearts of pure light and pure darkness? And that the sentient entity succeeded in it's completion? If this is the case, then is there a faint possibility that this entity could be a certain sassy Master of Masters? The master of masters acts bizarrely neutral in the face of something incredibly dreadful like the Keyblade war - could this be due to his heart being a perfect balance of pure light and darkness? And he has unexplained, supernatural powers of precognition involving the "blue eye" engraved into No Name's blade (and possibly the blue eyes found on the keychains and in the blade of other Keyblades + soul eater). Keyblades were originally created in the image of the original X-blade - what if the keyblades were created from the Master of Master in his own image? The box the MoM gives Luxu at the end of back cover has a symbol with seven spikes on it's inner walls and 13 spikes upon it's outer walls, and has the words "XSuper" on it. There are many theories on what this could mean: The MoM's nobody is in there, the X-blade is in there, ya boy Ventus is sleeping in there, etc. etc., and I do think that the X-blade is indeed inside, but I also think that there could be a bit more meaning to the name on the box than meets the eye. "'χ'... A most ancient letter. Some say 'kye,' but the meaning is the same. Death... A letter that spells endings. —Master Xehanort It is heavily implied from the names of the 6 other foretellers, along with the word enscribed upon the box, that the MoM's name derives from the seventh deadly sin superbia (pride). If X is taken for it's original meaning - death, or endings - then "XSuper" might mean "The death of pride". The Master of Masters has destroyed himself, shattering his heart into 20 pieces and then locking them away inside of the box. As for the rendition of him who speak with the foretellers.... a ghostly projection? I mean, it's happened before in Kingdom Hearts. Especially when a character harbours the heart of another inside them. After talking about avoiding the conflict for the entirety of the storyline of X up to the keyblade war, Master Ava enters into the conflict and, if the player is a member of another union, fights them. When the player asks her why she has changed tune about the war, she simply says "There are some secrets no-one should ever know". Maybe she found out something about the nature of the Master or the X-blade, or (crack theory overdrive), the splintered pieces of the X-blade that must return to their father the master of masters fullmetal alchemist style to all get inside the box or somethi I don't know I'm just gonna stop this insanity train here. Also slightly related mini crack theory: A key-shaped weapon forged by man during the age of fairy tales. Any other origins have yet to be revealed. - DDD glossary on Keyblades. Of all the keyblades in existence, Master Xehanort's is the most ancient. - Young Xehanort. What if Master Xehanort's keyblade was not man-made? What if it existed before the hypothetical forging of the original X-Blade? If the original X-blade, potentially the Master of Masters, was created through some high impact light-darkness collision, what if this Keyblade was wielded by some ancient force of evil, who then clashed with another ancient force of light? So yeah tl;dr, Vanitas + Ventus = X blade, therefore maybe original X blade = someone + someone = the Master of Masters. That's it that's the theory you can go home now.
  11. In KH, if you ever look in the Journal/Reports or play with subtitles on, you'd know that "realm of darkness", "realm of light", "realm between", and "realm of sleep" are never capitalized, which always led me to believe that those are not the official names of the realms. That's just what all the characters call them. But, in 0.2BBS, the realm of darkness is called "Dark World", which I'm assuming is it's official name. Yen Sid, Aqua, Mickey, etc. still call it "realm of darkness", but in Reports in the game and marketing for the game and stuff, they call it "Dark World", so it definitely seems to be its official name. And in KHX, we learn about a realm called "Unchained". In Back Cover, we learn that this realm is made of "dreams", which obviously means its the realm of sleep. So, the realm of darkness' official name is "Dark World" and the realm of sleep's official name is "Unchained". What do you think the official names for the realm of light and the realm between are? "Light World" and "Between World"? lol
  12. In the region of Tamara, there is a group of shady people that saw everyone as inferior to them, and they wanted to spread their believed superiority around the region. They formed an alliance called Team Yami, whose goal is to find a way to use the power of Primal Pokémon to inflict fear into the people of the Tamara region until civilians submit to them. Seeing this, the Tamara League Champion, Jynn, creates an alliance of strong Pokémon Trainers called Team Valor, in hopes to rebel against Team Yami and drive them out of the region. This is a reboot and continuation to the original RP Rules - All KH13 RP rules apply here. - There should be NO legendary Pokémon in ANY character's party WHATSOEVER. We want to be fair to all the other players (this is the Pokémon equivalent to god modding). - NO DIVINE ENTITIES! This is a Pokémon RP, so there is absolutely no reason for a god to be in this RP. - It is not mandatory, but you are allowed play as a NON LEDGENDARY Pokémon like you would a human character, but you must create a character sheet. The Pokémon must either talk, or use telepathy, but that ability must come natural to that Pokémon. I would ask if you could please not play as a Pokémon that somebody else is RP'ing as, however you can have the same Pokémon in your party as an NPC. I will only allow five playable Pokémon. Once the quota is reached, all future requests to play as a Pokémon will be rejected. - No controlling other people's characters without permission, including NPC Pokémon. - I will allow romance, but please keep it PG-13. - Mega Evolution is allowed, but do not abuse its power and claiming a one-shot (I have seen this in other Pokémon RP's, and I do not want that to happen). - DO NOT DOMINATE THE PLOT! Nobody is superior to everyone else. - Not so much a rule, but I would appreciate it if everyone would post at least once every week and a half so everyone can keep up with the story. If you don't think you can do this, please let me know, so we can figure out what to do with your character. - If you have lost interest in the RP and you're interacting with another player and they need to wait for you to make a post, please, Please, PLEASE let me know! If you don't, not only are you not participating in the RP, but you are also holding back someone who probably WANTS to participate. And if you are that player who is stuck in an interaction with someone else who hasn't posted in a week and a half, PLEASE let me know so I can talk to the other player! - To show you have read these rules, please post your favorite Pokémon below your character sheet. Trainer Character Sheet I'll add my characters. Name: Jynn Venas Age: 20 Team/Occupation: Team Valor Appearance: Stands at 5'8" and weighs 160 lbs. A few years later, a group of shady people began to create an alliance called Team Yami, whose goal is to find out how to control Primal Pokémon, and use them to inflict fear in civilians until they submit to the team's rule. In response, Jynn started to recruit strong Pokémon trainers around the region to repel Team Yami. Personality: Friendly but sometimes strict around others, extremely observant, careful, suave, clever, intelligent, docile when he's not in battle. Bio: Utopia was hatched by Jynn's parents when Jynn himself was first born. Utopia and Jynn grew up together and developed a very strong bond. As he was growing up, he learned to speak English, and learned it at the same rate as Jynn did. When they first set out on their adventure, they overcame many challenges to get to the Tamara Pokémon League. Jynn and Utopia's strong bond proved too much for the Champion, and was quickly defeated. Now with the looming threat of Team Yami, Utopia and Jynn both run Team Valor. Utopia is a very strong and intelligent Lucario, and he has been known to train Jynn's Pokémon, and has gained vast knowledge about moves and types during Jynn's first adventure. Extra info: Utopia's bond with Jynn is so strong, he is immune to all PokéBalls. Favorite Pokémon: Lucario
  13. For my 3rd and 4th entries, I would like to add all of these in. This will be my last entries for the giveaway. Paintings Abstract? I hope paintings are ok for this. For my 3rd entry I wanted to add these paintings in. These paintings are suppose to be Abstract paintings. But you guys might may think they're not. I did these paintings back when I was in community college. Kingdom Hearts was really in my mind. One of them I wanted to do my take on Darkness. The other, all I remember is, figuring out what to paint that doesn't symbolize anything. Then Axel's quote regarding the sun sets red came into my mind. Drawing For my 4th and last entry I wanted to add this drawing in. I got a side case of "Drawer's block" when drawing this picture. At first I wanted to do just my take on the "Devil's Wave" regarding these Shadows. Then Mickey and Aqua came into my mind. So I attempted to draw both of them in, since they were fighting some shadows together. My only wish is I wanted to add more Shadows in. But since Christmas is really close by, I had to cut it short.
  14. Master Xehanort Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Xemnas Young Xehanort Xigbar (Wields Unicornis Keyblade) Saix (Wields Anguis Keyblade) Luxord (Wields Leopardos Keyblade) Marluxia (Wields Vulpeus Keyblade) Terranort (Wields Ursus Keyblade) Ephemera Skuld Vanitas Xion (Wields End of Pain Keyblade) I suppose there’s inevitable questions in the way I have ordered the Seeker of Darkness. So, I’ll do my best to try and answer them. 1) Why do some of the Seekers have Foreteller keyblades? Surely they’d have keyblades of their own? Yes, that is a possibility, however, hear me out, the Keyblades of the Foretellers have the Eye of Darkness. Aside the foretellers, Xehanort and people who have closely worked with him or his incarnation (Vanitas/Riku) are only other characters with Keyblades that have the eye of Darkness. My theory is that Xehanort provides these Seekers with their respected Keyblades by using the Eye of Darkness to summon the Foreteller keyblades to them using his ancient Keyblade. After all, it is the initial reason why Braig joined Xehanort’s cause. He wanted a Keyblade of his own. And as far as Vanitas goes, he probably switched his Keyblade as the Foreteller Keyblade is inevitably stronger than the Keyblade that he currently posses. 2) Why is Marluxia in the list? To be a vessel for Xehanort, you don’t have to be willing to Xehanort’s cause to be a vessel. Sora was going to be a Seeker of Darkness at the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D before he was saved. In the Keyblade Graveyard, Terra tried to stop Master Xehanort from using his body as a vessel by deflecting it with his armour, but, it was too late. Plus, in recent interviews, Nomura has hinted that Marluxia is dabbling in The Kingdom of Coronia (as hinted by the nobodies that reside there). Nomura has also said in interviews that the Disney worlds are more linked to the overall narrative of Kingdom Hearts as opposed to being secluded to the movie's narrative. Maybe he's hunting down the King and Queen of Coronia because they have valuable information or has an interest in Rapunzel's healing powers (I digress, let me go back to my initial topic). 3) Why is Ephemera and Skuld members? They never existed during Xehanort's time? Well, there’s one of two hypothetical scenarios in which Ephemera and Skuld could end up being a seeker. Scenario 1 would be that these three may be simulations that enter the real world. In Re: Coded, Data Sora grew a heart when Donald and Goofy tried to protect him from Pete in digital Hollow Bastion. In Kingdom Hearts II, we see heartless invading Radiant Garden that came from Space Paranoids: proving that transference from the digital world to the real world is possible. Scenario 2 is that a version of Xehanort existed during the time of Kingdom Hearts X (presumably delving into the Unchained realm) and somehow transferred his heart to them in order to transform them into Seekers. 4) Why is Xion the final member? isn't she resting in Sora's heart? Yes, she is. However, my theory with Xion is that, during 358/2 Days, when Xemnas was modifying an unconscious Xion, Xemnas placed a fraction of his into her (hence Xion providing the message to tell Roxas to stop Xemnas gaining hearts before she fades). But then that begs the question, why is Sora not norted if Xion is resting in her? Simple: because only Xion mind and heart is in Sora, Xion's body was never a definitive body to begin with: she was a literal puppet. Riku sees Xion's body as Sora and Xigbar sees Xion's body as Ventus. Her synthetic body was the only element of her that never belonged to Sora. Her mind and heart were extensions of Sora's: her body was artificially created from Xion's mind and heart.
  15. There could be many ways for us to defeat Xehanort in Kingdom Hearts 3, so how do you think that we'll defeat him? Do you think we will destroy him for good? Or not? How do you think he'll be defeated specifically?
  16. Will be / is. I would love to know what you all think about Awakening, Light, and the previews of Darkness that we have gotten so far!
  17. I'll be explaining the various kinds of enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe, how they're created, what happens when they die, and what their goals are. If you feel you are very familiar with the details and lore behind these enemies, then this post is not for you. Over a long time playing the Kingdom Hearts games, I've notice many people left confused about these enemies, whether it be in real life, or online, so I'm making this post to hopefully clear up that confusion. Enjoy! (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here.) What are Heartless? Heartless are the main and first enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. Most of them are ink black in color and only act on instinct. They can be seen in various of the many worlds and realms in the universe of Kingdom Hearts. The stronger your heart is with the darkness, the more powerful your Heartless you produce will be. There are two types of Heartless: Pureblood Heartless and Emblem Heartless. What goal do Heartless try to achieve? Heartless mainly attempt to find and devour hearts, whether it be the heart of people, or the hearts of worlds. When they devour the heart of a person, then that person becomes a Heartless as well. Heartless, along with other beings strong with dark powers, are able to use portals called Corridors of Darkness. This portals allow them to travel from world to world and from realm to realm. It is dangerous for just anyone to use these portals however, because it is exposing you to direct darkness and it could affect your heart. That is why Heartless mostly use them since they are beings of straight darkness. How are Pureblood Heartless created? Pureblood Heartless were the first types of Heartless to exist. Pureblood Heartless are also known as natural Heartless, since they exist from natural causes. There are two ways a Pureblood Heartless can be created. The first way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created, is when someone succumbs to the darkness in their heart. Once this happens, the darkness inside their heart will devour their heart, then that darkness becomes a Pureblood Heartless. The second way that a Pureblood Heartless can be created is simply by drawing parts of the darkness out of your heart. Only beings that are strong with the darkness are able to do this, such as Xehanort. For example, in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, Xehanort was able to create Neoshadow Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Similarly, Riku in the first Kingdom Hearts, was able to create an AntiSora Heartless simply by drawing out the darkness in his heart. Pureblood Heartless are simply darkness of the heart, made flesh. When a heart is unlocked or succumbs to the darkness, the darkness within comes out and becomes a Pureblood Heartless, and devours the heart while it's at it. When a Pureblood Heartless devours someone else's heart, then the darkness within that person's heart will come out and become a Pureblood Heartless as well. When Heartless devour the heart of a world, that world falls to darkness, meaning it ends up in the Realm of Darkness. How are Emblem Heartless created? Emblem Heartless were originally created by a machine made by Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise. This machine reproduced the process in which Pureblood Heartless are created. This means that this machine was able to produce artificial Heartless by making hearts be consumed by darkness. Emblem Heartless are essentially darkness that has a trapped heart inside, unlike Pureblood Heartless which are essentially darkness that have devoured the heart and become one with it. Emblem Heartless can also be created when an Emblem Heartless consumes someone else's heart, just like how Pureblood Heartless are created when a Pureblood Heartless consumes someone else's heart. What happens when Heartless are destroyed? When you destroy a Pureblood Heartless, the heart within them isn't visibly/physically released, but it is definitely freed. The freed heart will eventually end up turning back into a Heartless. When a Pureblood Heartless is destroyed by a Keyblade, then it's freed for good. It goes into a sort of limbo state and waits for the corresponding Nobody to be destroyed so that it can combine back with the body and recomplete the original person. If the person has no corresponding Nobody, then all you have to do to recomplete them is destroy their Heartless (with a Keyblade) since their body is already waiting in the limbo state. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed, the corrupted heart that's freed will end up turning back into a Heartless, just like the Pureblood Heartless. Except the hearts are visibly freed. When Emblem Heartless are destroyed by a Keyblade, the heart is freed for good and goes into the aforementioned limbo state and waits for the Nobody counterpart to be destroyed, just like the Pureblood Heartless. If there is no Nobody counterpart, then all you need to do to recomplete the original person is to destroy the Heartless with a Keyblade. Them being destroyed by a Keyblade also allows Organization XIII to be able to collect the hearts before they get a chance to recomplete. What are Nobodies? Nobodies were the second enemy type introduced in the Kingdom Hearts series. They are mainly white in color, and they lack hearts. Many Nobodies also use Corridors of Darkness as well. Since they have no hearts, Corridors of Darkness are a huge convenience for them since they can use them without being affected. What goal do Nobodies try and achieve? Nobodies do not have a direct goal. Unlike Heartless, Nobodies have a sense of self, so they are basically free to do what they please. Most of them however, work together to achieve the one thing they truly want: their hearts. Since Nobodies have no hearts, they do not have emotions or feelings. They do however remember what it was like to have emotions and feelings. How are Nobodies created? When somebody loses their heart and become a Heartless, their body and soul fade away and wait for its Heartless counterpart to be destroyed by a Keyblade so the original person can be recompleted. If you had a particularly strong heart however, then your soul will continue living on inside of your body, therefore making your body live on as well. This is what a Nobody is. The stronger your heart was, the more humanoid and the more like you, your Nobody looks. People with slightly weaker hearts, become less and less human looking and take the form of creature type beings that somewhat resemble Heartless, other than the color differences. Organization XIII, a group of powerful Nobodies, are able to convert other powerful Nobodies into lesser, creature-type Nobodies, such as Dusks, as well, presumably using a machine to do so. What happens when Nobodies are destroyed? If a Nobody is destroyed, then it fades away. When someone's Nobody and corresponding Heartless are both destroyed, then that original person will return as a complete being, with heart, body, and soul all intact. (The Heartless needs to be destroyed by a Keyblade). If somebody didn't have a strong enough heart to produce a Nobody, then simply destroying their Heartless with a Keyblade will make them return since their body and soul, the things that would have created a Nobody, have already been destroyed. When you return as a complete being, you have all of your memories from when you were a Nobody as well as your old memories. You do not remember your time as a Heartless though. Other Information Nobodies are actually able to regrow hearts of their own. It is currently unknown what the specifics of this are and what the exact process is. Nobodies have the memories of when they were people. What are Unversed? Unversed are beings created by extremely strong negative emotions. They spawn from Vanitas and his emotions particularly, presumably because there is no other being with negative emotions as strong as his since he is a being of pure darkness. The negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical form, which is what Unversed are. Their goal is to do whatever Vanitas orders them to do, and when they are destroyed, their negativity flows right back into Vanitas. What are Dream Eaters? Dream Eaters are beings that exist and are born in the Realm of Sleep. They can also be created artificially. They are the Realm of Sleep's own personal way of darkness taking form as creatures. They are also the physical embodiments of dreams. They consume dreams. There are two types of Dream Eaters: Spirits and Nightmares. Spirits eat bad dreams, while Nightmares eat good dreams and plant bad ones. When they are destroyed, they seem to simply vanish, but Dream Eaters essentially work the same way dreams do since they are the physical embodiments of dreams, so all you'd have to do to get a Dream Eater to return after being destroyed is to dream it up again. That would be pretty difficult though since you can't really control what you dream about. Sora and Riku used fragments they collected from Nightmare Dream Eaters to artificially create their own Spirit Dream Eaters. The Master of Masters artificially created Spirit Chirithy Dream Eaters as well, probably using the same method as Sora and Riku. That is what we know so far about all the enemy types in the Kingdom Hearts universe. Now, I will explain various characters' involvements with these enemy types and how they relate to them. Sora In the first Kingdom Hearts, Sora stabbed himself in the heart with the Keyblade of Heart. This unlocked his heart, therefore making the darkness in his heart come out and become a Pureblood Heartless. When Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, he had Kairi and Ventus' hearts inside of him. This also created Sora's Nobody, Roxas. Roxas is a special Nobody since he was created by a unique circumstance. Since Sora had Ventus' heart inside of him, Ventus' heart went with his body and soul (Roxas) and went inside of Roxas. Kairi's heart returned to her body and she was recompleted. Since Kairi is a Princess of Heart, she has special light abilities. Since this is the case, she was able to purify Sora's Heartless and bring him back to his human form. Sora was able to return back to his human form without the need and use of his body or soul, which is an extremely unique circumstance. He had technically become a walking, talking heart, until Roxas returned to him. Another thing to mention is how Sora's Heartless had a sense of self. When you willingly give in to the darkness and become a Heartless, then your Heartless will have a sense of self. Roxas Roxas is the Nobody of Sora. He took on the appearance of Ventus since he has Ventus' heart inside of him. Roxas has since returned back to Sora, and Sora is complete again. Roxas lacks his memory from when he was Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Kairi Kairi is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, so she doesn't have any darkness within her heart whatsoever. Since this is the case, when her heart left her body, no Heartless was created. Her heart took refuge within Sora and was later returned to her body when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart and she was recompleted. Since she is a Princess of Heart and couldn't produce a Heartless, no Nobody was created either. Her body did not fade away since she had a strong heart, but it did not turn into a Nobody either since she had no darkness within her heart to turn into a Heartless, so her body stayed in a sort of comatose state until her heart returned to her. Like I stated before, she could not produce a Nobody since there was no darkness within her heart to produce a Heartless. But, when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade of Heart, Kairi's heart was released, which then created a Nobody of Kairi since Sora did have darkness within his heart. Naminé Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi that was created by Sora instead of Kairi, as explained above. Since she was not created by a body or soul, she technically doesn't exist and shouldn't exist, but she does anyway. It is an extremely unique and special circumstance. Since she was created by such a unique circumstance and has a unique bond with Sora since she was created by him instead of Kairi, she is able to manipulate Sora's memories and the people's memories who are close to him. She has since returned to Kairi and Kairi is a complete person again. As stated above, Roxas has no memories of his time as Sora because Sora's time as a Heartless was so short. Naminé lacks her memory of her time as Kairi for this same reason. Naminé doesn't have her memory of her time as Kairi because Kairi never even had a Heartless to begin with. Terra-Xehanort Terra-Xehanort, also known as Apprentice Xehanort, is Terra's body taken over by Xehanort and is being used as a host body for Xehanort. He worked as an apprentice under the scientist, Ansem the Wise, so he can get close to the technology and resources that he has. He tested on different people and their hearts to see what affects different tests had. All of his tests ended in the people's hearts collapsing. He locked these people up in cells in a dungeon and since their hearts were collapsing, the darkness within them came out and consumed their hearts and became Pureblood Heartless. Heartless were very rare before these experiments occurred. He then created another test. He put alive people and dead people in the cell with these Heartless. The Heartless went for the alive people, because they had hearts. This caused the Heartless to increase in numbers. Apprentice Xehanort, along with the other apprentices of Ansem the Wise, then created a machine. This machine was the machine stated earlier that artificially created Heartless, known as Emblem Heartless. Later, Terra-Xehanort turned most of the apprentices into Pureblood Heartless by stabbing them all with his Keyblade. He also succumbed to the darkness and became a Pureblood Heartless himself. Ansem, Seeker of Darkness Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is the Heartless of Terra-Xehanort. He was created when the Robed Figure let himself be consumed by the darkness in his heart, therefore becoming a Heartless. That is what Ansem, Seeker of Darkness is. He had a sense of self, just like Sora's Heartless did, because he willingly became a Heartless. He is one of the only people to retain a human appearance after becoming a Heartless. He has since been destroyed by Sora. Scar Scar gave into the darkness in his heart, which caused the darkness within his heart to come out, consume his heart, then turn into a Pureblood Heartless. Scar retained his regular appearance, much like Ansem, Seeker of Darkness. He also had a sense of self, because he willingly became a Heartless. After Scar's Heartless was defeated, a strange and unique phenomenon occurred. Beings known as The Ghosts of Scar were formed from the lingering darkness of Scar. It is unknown why or how this exactly happened, and it is unknown if these "ghosts" would be classified as Heartless or not, but they were able to merge together to create an Emblem Heartless known as a Groundshaker, which is an even stranger phenomenon that has no current explanation. Xemnas Xemnas is the Nobody of Terra-Xehanort, created when Terra-Xehanort succumbed to the darkness and became a Heartless. Xemnas has since been destroyed by Sora. Since both Xehanort's Heartless and Nobody have been destroyed, Xehanort has returned as a complete person. Vanitas Vanitas is the darkness from inside of Ventus, taken humanoid form. Ventus was used by Xehanort to try and fulfill his plan of recreating the χ-blade. To recreate the χ-blade, two beings, one of pure light, and one of pure darkness, need to clash. So, Xehanort extracted the darkness side of Ventus' heart from within Ventus and it took a physical, humanoid form, known as Vanitas. Since Vanitas is a being of complete darkness, without a single bit of light within him, he produces extremely strong negative emotions. These negative emotions are so strong, that they take physical forms, known as Unversed. Riku In Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, Riku is considered to be a Dream Eater, because he has the ability to dive into Sora's dreams, and defeat the bad dreams, just like a Spirit Dream Eater would. That's it! I hope this was able to help anyone who was puzzled or somewhat confused with any of the enemies in the Kingdom Hearts universe Feel free to ask any questions in the comments below.
  18. Replaying Kingdom Hearts 1 Final Mix. Having a random thought here. Since when did pots and barrels have hearts to take? I know, the chest monster is a RPG staple, but in this universe it doesn't make sense.
