This is a very minor worry, but at the same time, it still worries me. From what we've seen so far in the Kingdom Hearts III trailers, the Attraction Flow rides' names don't seem to be set in stone yet. For example, the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters are called "Shooting Ride" and the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is called "Big Magic Mountain." My worry is that these might not just be placeholder names. I'm assuming that these are placeholder names, but what if they aren't? How would you all feel if these weren't the placeholder names and what they are actually going to be called? What's your opinion on this? I personally would be very upset. I absolutely love the Disney Parks and the attractions there, and I always thought incorporating the Disney Parks into Kingdom Hearts would be an interesting idea, so I was very excited when I first saw these attractions in the trailers. I hope that these aren't just placeholder names. I hope they actually get the rights to use their actual names. The Big Magic Mountain should be called "Big Thunder Mountain Railroad", the Shooting Ride should be called "Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters", the tea cups should be called "Mad Tea Party." This also brings me to side note. What Disney Park attraction is the Pirate Ship from? There are many different ships in the Disney Parks. Off the top of my head, the two of them that I can think of are Sailing Ship Columbia and Captain Hook's Pirate Ship. It's called Pirate Ship in the KH trailers, so I'm assuming it's Captain Hook's Pirate Ship, so I hope it's actually called "Captain Hook's Pirate Ship" in-game. Anyways, I know it's a minor thing, but I would actually be very upset if they didn't get the rights to use the attractions' actual names from the Disney Parks.
Kingdom Hearts came to be by combining two great franchises together: Disney and Final Fantasy. This formula was strange and many thought it would not work. Today, 14 years later, this franchise goes on strong as one of Square Enix's most successful franchises. On this site, we all obviously talk about it and the story of this franchise. Not only that, but second in amount of conversation is Final Fantasy. After that, other video games and media are talked about. Sports and real life news events are not so commonly spoken about. What I am rather stumped is how Kingdom Hearts's other half, Disney, is not spoken about as much if at all. I mean, yes there are films mentioned here and there, but what makes Disney is the theme parks and stuff related to the parks and the original cartoons. These make up the Disney half of Kingdom Hearts. I have once posted in December Disney Christmas Music played in the parks, particularly Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, and it was like I did it for attention; no one responded. Then, I once posted about Shanghai Disney opening in June and only one person noticed and commented. This actually worries me because as great as Kingdom Hearts is, I fear that if we don't talk about the true Disney and remind ourselves about what defines true Disney, our perception of it will be altered and we will forget. It was all started by a mouse, not a boy with a key shaped sword. I want us to incorporate into the conversation more Disney Parks and stuff related to the parks so we never forget that it was all started by a mouse. What do you all think about this?
