  1. Here's King Mickey arriving in The World That Never Was in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Here's the Replica for Roxas being sent to the Keyblade Graveyard by Ienzo, Even, Ansem the Wise, etc. in Kingdom Hearts III. (Which Roxas' heart comes out of Sora and then goes into the moment it arrives.) It's the exact same method of travel/arriving at a world. They have the same animation of a sparkle in the sky and then a beam of light coming down from where the sparkle was, transporting a person or object to a world.

    DDD - Meow Wow

Omg guys look it's Bumbleb- I mean, Meow Wow. It's Meow Wow guys. Figured I'd try drawing every Spirit from "Kingdom Hearts 3D/Dream Drop Distance" so here's the first. Meow doesn't have paw pads and that hurts on a personal level.

  6. Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is a sequel to Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and originally released on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan (March 29, 2012), Europe (July 20, 2012), Australia (July 26, 2012) and North America (July 31, 2012).
  7. After days of grinding, I finally have the platinum trophy for KHDDD!
  8. So today I learned something new. It's impossible to beat Young Xehanort at Level 1 without specific Dream Eaters using Spirit Roar on you, which is a purely lucked based ability. Yeah you read that right. IMPOSSIBLE. Why even bother putting a challenge restriction mechanic into your game when you clearly haven't even tested it.... The fact that you have to rely on a specific move in the game (that's based on luck no less) to help you beat a REQUIRED STORY BOSS under a given game mechanic is the stupidest game design decision I've ever seen.
  9. So with the release of the new screenshots and renders from famitsu, I decided to compare the renders of Mickey and Aqua to their Ps2 era models, to see how they look overall and to see a side by side comparison. Upon comparing them I have to say that my appreciation for the kingdom shader has gone up even more, due to the fact that they look like the character designs from the last generation but with major improvements of course and how the models actually look like they could've been from a Disney animated film. Anyways, seeing these new renders makes even more excited for the game's release in January.
  10. I'm one of THOSE people. Yeah, you know, the one that everyone hates and calls a pointless pessimist and hates your negativity, and your criticism, etc etc etc I just can't be optimistic for KH3. Am I excited for it? I suppose, but will I think it will be an incredible, mindblowing, "best KH game" yet? Absolutely not. I have my reasons for being pessimistic. Firstly is because I've always been sort of a pessimist; for example, I would expect an F on a test and get a C back and feel not as bad; opposedly, those who expect an A and get a C back feel awful. Secondly is because of the usual "Osaka Team" ramble, which I'm sure most people are aware by now. Even after seeing 0.2 gameplay, closer analyzing lead me to realize some very bad signs in the gameplay, which, if it carries over to KH3, can potentially...suck. Thirdly is because I think DDD ruined the story beyond repair, and not even KH3 will be able to fix it. Time Travel...what were you thinking Nomura? I hate when people go like "Oh wow, KH3 is going to be perfect just because it's KH3" because you don't know that. Using the fact that "it's KH3" to justify the game is good is ridiculous. This is also the crap that leads to massive, complete disappointment if the game comes out and it's glitchy, unbalanced, and sucks. Now can I justify that it will suck? No, I can't. However, I think it won't be as good as people say it will be. I also think it won't live up to its hype. Then, I get told, "if you aren't 'excited' for KH3, you're not a true KH fan." So why should I even bother being a fan then, if that requirement is needed to be a "true fan"? To absolutely love every game Square makes even if it is plagued with issues and glitchiness? I'm not optimistic about the game because of the signs Osaka Team has shown. I'm not going to be optimistic. So stop trying to make me an optimist, because I'm not. That doesn't mean I hate KH at all; it just means I want to see my favorite game series do better than it recently has. I fell in love with KH1 and KH2, but it's pretty much been downhill from there. So hopefully, you can see where my pessimism comes from. I get told after the 0.2 gameplay released, "Look at that! There's no way KH3 will suck now, the gameplay is incredible!" Once again, a completely blatant and ridiculous claim. A few minutes of 0.2 gameplay will show you nothing about the insight of KH3. It will not "prove" the game is good. People who say 0.2 gameplay is amazing is looking at the surface again. It's literally BBS all over again. People loved BBS at first, but recently, it's been getting a bit more attention to the issues it had. Why did people love BBS so much at first? Because it was flashy and fun to play around with the combat. It looked cool. It's the same thing with 0.2. The graphics are pretty incredible in comparison to the previous KH games. The spells and attacks all look super awesome, and even physical combos seem a bit better than the ones in BBS and DDD. That doesn't prove anything though. You might get a super overpowered attack that completely negates everything else you have in the game. There might be glitchiness, freezes, crashes. There might be horrible boss AI that is designed after horrible in-game mechanics. You don't know any of this yet, so assuming 0.2 proves KH3 will be incredible is such a ludicrous claim that I can't possible comprehend how these people are reasoning this behind their heads. So what if KH3 comes out inevitably, and it's an actual good game? People will probably yell at my face, tell me that "you were wrong and a dumbass for having low expectations." They can say what they want. I'll be stoked obviously; I still want KH3 to do well. That being said, if it does turn out to be a bad game, none of us are benefiting from this. However, I'll have this extra cushion that I've prepared in my mind, that tells me, you knew this was gonna happen. You shouldn't ever expect so much. KH3 is overhyped. People are in love with it even though we've seen little to nothing of it. I don't see much glimmer of hope. I have no reason to be optimistic. Insult me, call me names, exclude me, hate me; do whatever you want. However, you will never change my opinion on this subject, so stop trying.
  11. So, my friend Truthkey/Keytotruth suggested that I should post this information here - Earlier today, I was messing around with KHDDD and stumbled onto an unused map: https://youtu.be/vWyCL3sdXqA?t=10409 This map has the area code "tp". [For your reference, all maps in the Kingdom Hearts games have area codes like "hb" for the Hollow Bastion world, "tt" for the Twilight Town world, "di" for the Destiny Islands world - I'm sure you get the idea by now.] After investigating the boats and ships used in previous Kingdom Hearts games, it seems that this model is not similar to any of them. This ship has never been used in a Kingdom Hearts game before. Further investigation into Disney movies revealed that this map closely resembles the ship from the movie "Treasure Planet". There are 11 rooms in this "tp" world, unfortunately however all of the other rooms have been replaced with the following placeholder map: https://youtu.be/vWyCL3sdXqA?t=10743 We have come to the conclusion that it is very likely that there was a treasure planet world planned for KH3D but was scrapped very early in development.
  12. As in least favorite to favorite KH games. I wouldn't count the HD Remasters as separate games, even though they do have a few more bugs in comparison to the original, they're basically the same thing. For me personally, it would go something like this: 1. Dream Drop Distance - stupidly complex story, repetitive gameplay, bad balancing, bad AI, disappointing set up to KH3 2. 358/2 Days - had high expectations but story turned out to be repetitive day-by-day event of 3 characters instead of entire Org XIII. Also gameplay was clunky. 3. BBS - similar to DDD but slightly better, and story was acceptable. It still has its gameplay issues like DDD though. 4. Re:Coded - only KH game imo to have made the Command Deck system correctly, but story was boring and insignificant. Also the autoscroller stages were boring. 5. CoM/ReCoM - I liked the card system, story was well done, but the room system got repetitive after a few floors. Love the addition of Reverse Rebirth though. 6. KH1 - the purest KH game, simple and raw gameplay, excellent story+incorporation of Disney. 7. KH2 - the best gameplay in the series, decent story, super fun and replayable I don't have unchained X in there because it's a mobile game, and I played it for about a month before I got the entire gimmick down and stopped playing. I don't know, something about it just doesn't make it seem like an actual Kingdom Hearts game and I just sorta drifted away from it. Also curious cuz my opinion is kind of unpopular. I guarantee some people are ready to flame me right now for putting BBS below ReCoded, but I have my reasons. It'd be cool to see all of your opinions though
  13. So I watched a pretty old video by joshscorcher on "Top 10 Worst KH Bosses" and it was a pretty bad list imo; his explanations were subpar and felt more like complaints and salt from being unable to beat a boss (quote from the video "I HATE how [Demyx] keeps pelting me with attacks that I CAN'T COUNTER!"), and it really that informative. However it did get me thinking; KH has a bunch of awesome bosses (I'm looking at you, Mr. Zebra Xemnas), but it also had its fair share of bad bosses (as to be expected from every game series). So yah, here's my list (from least worst to worst worst). 1. Data Xigbar (KH2) - Honestly just a not very well designed fight in general. His bullets are so fast that it is pretty much impossible to react to them, unless you 100% understand his every pattern. Even then, you'll most likely have to spam Reflect to survive. It has redeeming qualities though; it's still a doable fight, and it's nowhere near as unfair as some of the later bosses you'll see on this list. 2. Ursula 2 (KH1) - There is lightning everywhere, and they strike down insanely rapidly. You can at most get off two hits of your combo before having to move to avoid the lightning. Her other attacks are avoidable, but the main downfall of this fight was the lightning. Using a finisher would only result in finisher lag, where you cannot move in that instant and forces you to get hit by the lightning. It's honestly just a horribly designed fight overall. 3. Chernabog (DDD) - Underwhelming and kind of pathetic. I remember in KH1 when we fought Chernabog; it was difficult fight, but hell yeah it was intense and epic. This...does a lot less. Awesome, convert an awesome intense fight to a drop mission. 4. Ruler of the Sky (Days) - Once again, this was just another boring fight; debatably the most boring in the entire game. This fight can take an absurd amount of time, and once over, you really don't feel any feelings of accomplishment. It's not even a hard fight; just tedious since the majority of the fight is just you chasing after him. 5. Phantom (KH1) - This fight, like Ruler of the Sky, is boring and tedious. What's with flying bosses having bad design? You can only use a specific attack on Phantom at a certain time: Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Attack. Phantom has a bunch of health, and the fight overall just takes a long time. You'll once again be flying around for the most part and Curing when you get hit. Also, you have to cast Stop periodically on the Clock Tower to prevent him from casting Doom on your party members, which will remove them from the battle forever. Boring, long, and tedious. But at least we aren't at the frustrating ones yet. 6. Young Xehanort (DDD) - Speaking of frustrating bosses, here's one for you. Imagine all the issues with DDD, regarding boss stun, difficulty spikes, unfair AI; roll them all together, and you get this. YX is relentless, and barely has openings. Even when you do attack him, you'll just end up getting obliterated by him randomly retaliating out of your combo. Welp, time to stick to spamming Balloon to win again. I don't even have a grudge against his time reverse thing at the end; in fact, I thought that was pretty cool. However, the fact that the fight empahsizes on the problems in DDD really just makes me hate it. 7. Armor of the Master (BBS) - Can't be stunned, once again. It's a long and boring fight. Sure, his attacks are flashy, but when you realized that all of them can be dodged by mashing Square as Aqua and Ven, the fight really doesn't do much else. Once again, use Surges! Because that's how you beat every single optional boss in BBS. 8. No Heart (BBS) - You cannot stun him. His attacks are brutal. The only way to win is to Dodge like hell, use Surges, get hit, run away, Cure, repeat. The fight also took FOREVER on the PSP version; luckily, Square nerfed him on the PS3 version. But that still doesn't make it any better. 9. All Vanitas Fights (BBS) - Vanitas is the epitome of bad boss design. He, like many others in BBS and DDD, cannot get stunned (and if he does, he teleports out before you can hit him again). He is the most inconsistent boss in the series; he does whatever he wants, whenever he wants, quite literally breaking the game's rules. Finally stunned him with a possible opening? Nope, teleport. Finally got two hits on him and is about to use a finisher? Nope, break out in the middle of your combo and teleport behind you, hitting you. The fight isn't hard once you get used to it; just don't use finishers. That's right, the way to win that fight is literally to attack once, roll away, and slowly chip away at his health forever and ever. A boss that is frustrating and tedious is one thing; however, a boss that breaks its own set of rules that the game has set up is a completely new level of bad design. What were you thinking Square? 10. Mysterious Figure (BBS) - As Aqua and Ven, this fight is almost pathetic once you know how to beat him. Mash Square until your thumb breaks, and Surges in his openings. As Terra, you hope and pray to the KH RNG Gods that they don't let you die. The issue with this fight rests in the intention. Square quite literally programmed the fight to act after the most broken mechanics in the entire series that is found in BBS. You spam Aqua and Ven's invincible dodges to win, you spam the OP command Thunder Surge, and everything else, including Terra and his crappy slide, is completely, utterly, useless. What a great fight. Vanitas broke its own rules, but Mysterious Figure literally breaks its own rules in order to force the player to also break the game's "intended rules" to win. Unbelievable; I can't believe people actually designed this garbage. And yeah, I got pretty brutal with the last few ones there, but my point still stands; they were bad fights. Anyways, I'd like to see all of your opinion so yay discussion!
  14. As you all know, the music for the "main campaigns" in Kingdom Hearts 2.5 and 1.5 had remastered music. (By main, I mean Kingdom Hearts II FM and Kingdom Hearts FM). Could the songs within Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance HD be remastered? Yoko Shimomura's work was excellent in the original, but I would like to hear the songs on a bigger scale.
  15. I actually don't see many discussions regarding gameplay mechanics of KH3 in comparison to the massive amount of story theories and speculations, so I figured, to spice things up a little, I'm gonna ask all of y'all a question that I've been wondering about for a while now. What type of Level 1 playthrough do you want for KH3? (Under the assumption that KH3 will have the option for you to play through at level 1) That sounds really vague, but I'll clarify now: In KH1FMHD and KHBBSHD, level 1 in those games came with strange properties. The ability "EXP Zero" basically gave you boosts so that you wouldn't be ridiculously weak and deal chip damage by end-game. Simply put; they buffed certain aspects of your attacks, and in KH1, puts a damage cap on enemies so that they can't kill you in one hit even if you're fighting against a battle level 99 enemy. For example, fighting Sephiroth in KH1 would most definitely kill you in one hit at level 1; however with EXP Zero equipped, you can survive up to 3 hits from him (or something like that). Meanwhile in KH2FM, there was damage scaling. This meant that the damage you deal is automatically scaled to the battle level of the world. If you were level 1, but in a battle level 99 area, you would be dealing the minimum damage you can deal in a battle level 99 area, which is probably around level 50 damage normally or so. Basically what this means is that you would be dealing the same damage at Level 1 as Level 49 in this area, because your damage is automatically scaled up. This applies to all other areas; basically, it prevents chip damage. However this scale only applies to Strength and Magic, so you are just as vulnerable in terms of Defense, meaning enemies late game will kill you in 1 hit. Personally I thought the 2FM system was genius, as it prevented the game from being super tedious and boring, but also provided an exciting and difficult challenge. It didn't only apply to level 1 either; for example, if you were, say, 20 levels underleved in an area, you wouldn't be dealing chip damage; your damage would instead be scaled up according to the battle level of the area. Chip damage was a thing in BBS (psp) at level 1; they didn't have damage scaling, so you would be doing absolutely nothing to enemies at Level 1, making the game almost impossible in some areas. They fixed this in BBSHD by adding hidden properties to EXP Zero, but I personally liked the KH2 system better; no hidden properties of the ability, but instead, hidden game mechanics to make the game better designed around a low level/level 1 playthrough. So I'd love to see the 2FM damage scaling system back in KH3. What about you guys?
  16. Let me preface this before someone tries to attack me: if you don't like long rants, then you might not want to read this. This will be quite long. Also I'm gonna be directing some hate, but all of it will be supported with reasons. Once again, if you love Dream Drop Distance and will probably kill someone over hating the game, probably not your cup of tea. Aside from that though, I'd love to see if anyone agrees or disagrees with me. I'll try and keep this pleasant and not too "anger-filled" ALso in case it wasn't obvious, yes there are spoilers for DDD. Now onto the thing that I want to address: Dream Drop Distance. Another Kingdom Hearts game that isn't KH3, but hey it's something, and it can't be worse than Re:Coded....right? Wrong. In case you haven't figured it out yet, DDD is by far my least favorite KH game. From my point of view, there are little to none going for it. Its story is crap, its combat is crap, and overall game was crap. Yes, I know I am going a bit overboard. I don't hate this game by itself, but I do hate it for being part of such an amazing series. Let's go on to story first shall we? Most would agree that DDD is the most confusing KH game by far in terms of story. What bothers me most is the single element they added into it; the thing that makes everything unnecessarily complicated, creates a ton of plotholes, and is just confusing and unpleasant in general. Most of you probably know what I'm talking about. Time travel. Really Square? Unnecessary complexity if you ask me, and definitely going to confuse first time players, even if they have a solid understanding of the KH story before this. First of all, let's address this ridiculous idea. Never before EVER mentioned in any other KH game, apparently you can time travel now. Square attempted to cover up plotholes by implementing these ridiculous rules of time travel (once again, never even hinted at before this game) of how you need to have a version of yourself at your destination, and how you can only go one direction in time, and how you can't keep your memories after returning to your original time...blahblahblah. All it is to me is a load of makeup BS that Square threw in randomly to prevent plotholes. Unfortunately, like all time travel stories, plotholes are aplenty. Not gonna go into details as that would take literally forever, but if you dont believe me, look some up. There are too many plotholes in DDD to claim otherwise. In addition to the time travel idea, they have this annoying thing of how suddenly, everyone is a keyblade wielder now. The idea of a legendary thing, a chosen one...and now everyone is suddenly the "chosen one". This is like Dragon Ball Z all over again. Remember when Goku first turned into the legendary "Super Saiyan" that was only said to be in myths? And then suddenly, within 10 or so years, 7 year old kids can turn into Super Saiyans by having a small sparring match with their mothers. It degrades this "legendary" status, and makes it seem like its worth nothing. To be fair though, BBS kind of did this too which bothered me, but it was really in DDD when Lea somehow manages to magically summon a Keyblade when I just stood up, and said "F*** this I'm done". Don't get me wrong; I like Axel/Lea as a character. In fact, he's debatably my favorite character in the series. But now, you're telling me that this legendary weapon that chooses its owner, this amazing thing that we got in the original KH1 that was supposed to make Sora, the protagonist, special, is nothing but a plaything that anyone can get? There NO reason Lea should be able to wield a keyblade. I don't care what BS explanation Square pulls on this one, like "oh he has a strong heart" or "he's somehow related to ____". It's all to cover up for the obvious mistakes they've made. This makes me realize: the main character is not special for being able to wield a Keyblade. I've been playing as literally an ordinary person. He's not even a master (despite being called one several times in the original KH); simply a wielder. And that's not special because anyone can wield a keyblade nowadays. You see what I'm getting at here? DDD took something amazing, this legendary "chosen one" status, and degraded it to just a normal person's toy. I LOVED playing as Sora as a kid in KH1 and KH2. He was a hero! He was the Chosen One that can wield a legendary weapon that will instantly vanquish darkness! ...but now, it's nothing at all. Anyone can have it. And that upsets me to no end. It's pathetic, and ruins my image of Sora forever. There is nothing intriguing about the protagonist anymore, so why should I even play as him? What makes it worse is that Sora isn't even considered a master after all the feats that he's done, because apparently he's been trained in the wrong way. Let's see...Sora defeated Ansem, a powerful heartless that threatened the destruction of all worlds, defeated 13 members of powerful Nobodies that each had their own unique set of skills, and part of this included Xemnas, the most powerful nobody of all, that had literally ABSORBED the power of an artificial Kingdom Hearts created from THOUSANDS of hearts. He rode a ship through space at light speeds, defeated a giant Dragon, defeated Xemnas like 5 times, took down 1000 heartless by himself, saved the world countless times, and you're telling me he's not a master because of some stupid exam you have to take? For godsake, Aqua literally became a Keyblade master from hitting balls. I think I've ranted on enough about the story for now, since I have so much more to talk about for gameplay. Ahhh good old gameplay. Let's get the good stuff out of the way first shall we? Well, the music is nice. Not the best in the series, but still not bad. The graphics are pretty good for a 3DS game. The controls are decent enough with the circle pad pro. And Flowmotion, in my opinion, even though it kind of breaks platforming, is a pretty cool mechanic that makes movement fun, and I'm excited for it to return in KH3. I liked the big worlds, although a lot of it is a bunch of empty space...I still appreciated the feeling of exploration. Unfortunately, that's pretty much everything redeeming I have to say for gameplay. First issue: Balancing This one you've probably heard a lot. It's an issue in BBS as well, but it's way more obvious in DDD. By balancing, I mean there's one single command in this game that will be automatically the best for any situation ever, no exceptions. Whether if its a mob enemy fight or a tough giant Dream Eater boss, or a powerful "human" boss...the Balloon family will completely destroy them. There is NO boss in this game that resists Balloon, its damage output is absolutely INSANE, and its reload time+cost+how early you can get it (literally before the first boss) completely breaks the command and makes it the best in the entire game. For every single "no damage" or "speedrun" you can find of DDD, you'll see Balloon...and Balloon...and Ballooon.... What happened to the beautiful combat options from, say, KH2? What happened to your fancy combos that you can change up, your Magic, your Drives, your summons, your limits? All these combat options, all with uses for different situations, and all gone. Now, you're just spamming one command to win. It makes the game boring and un-fun. The game doesn't take skill anymore; it just takes patience and having a strong thumb to spam Balloon. Also, saying "just don't use Balloon" is a really crappy argument to make because: 1. The game literally gives it to you as an available option to attack, so there's no reason to exclude it if its the game's intention. 2. Playing the game without Balloon makes it even worse believe it or not; bosses on Level 1 Crit literally become impossible. Good game design Square. It's like they purposely made the game around spamming Balloon just to troll us. "Hey lets put in a really difficult mode, Level 1 Critical. Let's also make the game insanely hard/impossible to beat on that mode, and put in a super overpowered command so they can just spam it over and over again to win. WHOO SOUNDS FUN" Wouldn't surprise me if that was an actual thing. Second Issue: AI Complexity The bosses' AI in this game sucks. That's it. Now I know what some of you are thinking: "Oh no, he's gonna go KH2 nerd on us and bring in Revenge Value and Flinch Count and all that random computery crap." But the thing is, those were very good game design choices in KH2 that I applaud. It made fights interesting; it gave bosses openings, forced you to learn them and time to so you can attack and not get hit. You get better from experience and attempts, and gives you a feeling of satisfaction when you finally win, because you LEARNED something from that fight. Meanwhile in DDD, we have absolutely no system of Revenge, bosses just randomly retaliate. For the most part, the game goes like Balloon>run away>hope you don't get hit by a random retaliation>Balloon. And maybe a cure when necessary. There is zero skill involved, and just doesn't give you the same feeling of satisfaction like KH2 does. When you win, its more like "wow I can't believe I spent 20 minutes spamming Balloon" instead of "AWESOME I BEAT THAT FIGHT BECAUSE I LEARNED SO MUCH ABOUT THE BOSSES' PATTERNS THROUGH EXPERIENCE!" For me, this was a huge downgrade, and ABSOLUTELY inexcusable because the game before it literally had a better system in every way possible. Also, enemies don't stagger. I understand this for giant bosses, but normal enemies literally don't get staggered by your moves in DDD. It's like they're a wall, and you just attack them to inflict damage. This not only makes things super annoying, because enemies can randomly retaliate in the middle of your combos which should TECHNICALLY stun them and render them defenseless, BUT it just makes you want to use overpowered commands like Balloon even more, instead of normal attacks/other commands, since Balloon is one of the few commands that can force enemies to stagger. As if it wasn't powerful enough. I can't emphasize how annoying all these issues add up to be. The story is subpar at best with stupid concepts that feel rushed and made up at the last minute, and it's confusing and full of plot holes. The main character is nothing anymore, he's not special or the "Chosen One", just another one of those hundreds of people who can wield this weapon. The gameplay is once again below expectations, because of the unbalancing and horrid AI. The game is not fun to play at all. If I play on Beginner mode, I destroy everything too easily. If I want a challenge, I can't even get one since I'll just spam Balloon to win. If I restrict myself from spamming Balloon, I'll make the game boring and tedious. Bosses would literally take up to hours for me to beat, because my attacks deal chip damage AND doesn't stagger them. Which means the fights go like "One hit>run away and hope you don't get hit". So yeah this is probably the most I've ever typed in my life and my fingers are absolutely dead. Soooo for those of you who didn't read, I'll try and make a brief tl;dr: tl;dr: -confusing story, full of plotholes, main character has been downgraded to nothing special -gameplay is unbalanced, boring, tedious, AI is awful -a game made literally 6 years before this game is better in almost every single way (KH2), which is unacceptable. Welp I think i'm finally done, and if you do read the whole thing, I will be very impressed. Aside from that, I'll see you guys later. Let's see if we can get some interesting discussions on here.
  17. On KHDDD in Sora's story in The Grid Young Xehanorth Say's to Sora:''This World is real, Data wont dream cannot dream. you don't have any idea where you are.'' So is the Tron's world in real world or dream world? And if it's on real world why there are dream eaters? or is it because YX wants to confuse us? your opinions in here
  18. My new Youtube channel art/wallpaper that I created using mostly pieces of Kingdom Hearts artwork I've done, with the exception of Kairi up at the top which was from the KH1 artbook.

  19. I have recently sent to "TheGamersJoint" a message offering this theory, and here it is : Hey Cynic, I've been watching your videos for just a few days ever since KHIII's trailer came out, and you actually caught my attention with how dedicated you are to share information about the franchise. For a while, I've been thinking of something that maybe not many of thought of it this way, but hear me out. I believe that calling Roxas as Sora's nobody is a grave mistake, and this could mean many things for the future of the franchise. To start things off, I have watched your video concerning the famous question "Why does Ventus look like Roxas?", as you clarified it with the events linked with KH1 and KHBBS. However, there is still a concern with, like you said in that video, saying that Roxas IS Sora's nobody. I believe it isn't the case. Let's start with obvious basics of what has been thought to Sora : When someone gives in their heart to the world, a heartless and nobody is born from that person. An example of this is Xehanorth with Ansem and Xemnas. But let's notice something : they have nothing in common in physical appearances. We can say the same for Naminé and Kairi ; originally thought to be linked. But, it's interesting ever since KHDDD where, at the end of the game, most of Organization XIII members, after awaking from their slumber and being "restored" to people, they look the same? This nobody theory seems controversial to me. From KHBBS' information, it has been shown that Ventus has been accepted in Sora's heart to dorm in while his body sleeps after his battle against Vanitas. Like in your video where you talk about this topic, I believe it is correct to say that Ventus was released in KH1 where Sora "sacrifices" himself for everyone he held in his own heart. However, this is the key part to understand WHO we see as "Roxas" appears into Twilight Town for the first time. He appears infront of Twilight Town's mansion, speechless. Shortly, Xemnas appears out of the blue to adress "Roxas". As he introduces him to his identity, I sincerely believe that Xemnas had Xehanorth's point of view over the situation. He saw this as a new chance to take this as a vessel of darkness. Let's call, "Roxas", Ventus, as I'm positive it is actually him. Ventus then gets renamed ROXAS, a code name for SORA. It is even further obvious to me that the boy we see is Ventus with vacant memories of his true past, because of the following reasons. 1: Xion's creation. She was made out of memories purely, just like a heart is in the world of Kingdom Hearts. The distinction from both is that Xion was modelled from Sora while Ventus had a share of his own core with Sora's, which permitted him to even exist again. 2: The controversial point I stated earlier in KHDDD, where Organization XIII reborns as their identical selves physically, is noticeable with Sora and Ventus : Ventus returns to Sora without Sora changing. 3: It has been mentionned in multiple games (KH2, KH358/2 Days for example) that it's surprising to see a Keyblade wielder as a Nobody. If no other Nobody has ever been able to wield a keyblade, shouldn't this be a notice that Ventus isn't a representation of a true Nobody? Doesn't a Keyblade choose a master to reflects a sense of purity inside of themselves, like Sora shows in KH1 VS Riku? 4: If Nobodies truly cannot feel, why is it that Ventus could feel remorse for the people he loses, like Xion? 5: Isn't a coincidence that Ventus starts again a life exactly the way he was found by Xehanorth in KHBBS, how he had NO clue of who he even was? These things have been connecting in my mind for a long time. Make this into a video of what you think. Because, the point of all of this, is : If it only was Ventus, we have not truly seen who Sora's nobody is. If this is correct, KH3 might reveal the true secret behind the creation of nobodies. EDIT : Chucky the Wise And Flaming Lea Were both VERY helpful people to answer questions, check them out!
  20. After watching so many YouTube videos about the series, reading many of the threads here on the site, and learning about the story of Chi and AAAAAAALL of the theories out there, I have come to one conclusion: I am utterly lost when it comes to the KH lore now. Like stupidly lost. Like, I'm playing a game whose story is just slapping me in the face every second while I like it. By asking the following questions, I know I'm probably gonna get the classic, "why start a new thread, all the answers are ______" ; " so and so already answered ______________" ; "here's the link to find out ___________ and __________" etc. But at least for my sake and love of the series,I guess I'd like to have once single page to get CLEAR and maybe DEFINITIVE answers to the mind boggle I have right now. Here goes: 1. In KH1, Sora could only WIELD the keyblade because of Ven's presence in his heart. I know that Sora never got his OWN k'blade, but by the end of the game, the k'blade CHOSE him over Riku due to Riku's entanglement with darkness even though it was initially Riku's keyblade. True or False? (if true, then sora won't lose the keyblade that chose him even if Ven's heart leaves him in KH3?) 2. KH1: When Sora releases his heart to release Kairi's with the Keyblade of People's Hearts, his Nobody Roxas is formed. Right? Right. But does Ven's heart get transferred into Roxas or does it stick around with Sora all the time? Just want to make sure... This also reminds me of something I read on this site: 2b. Since Roxas=Sora's Nobody and Nobody= Body left behind by Heartless, I read somewhere on here that after the events of KH1 and all through out CoM until Roxas merges with Sora in KHII, Sora is theoretically a "walking heart" since Roxas has his "left behind body" until the end of Roxas' story? Or does Sora recoup his body as seen in KH1 and Roxas... also keeps his body...? Does that have any merit or am i really just out of my mind?? 3. Roxas dual wields because of Sora and Ven, or because of Sora and Xion? And Sora can dual wield because of Ven and because he got the synch blade ability from Roxas after merging, right? 4. I played DDD when it first came out and im fuzzy on the story as of now: So Roxas and Xion grew their own heart after a while and there's a possibility of them coming back as their own people person in KH3? 5. ... If 4 is true.. does that mean that Sora, as of the end of DDD, is housing 3 hearts: Ven, Roxas, and Xion? Or does the fact that Xion is at this point a forgotten memory made from memories disqualify her from ultimately coming back? (Which, incidentally, leads me to another question: IF Roxas & Xion grew a heart, then that means Axel did too. If Lea is back due to his HL/NB being destroyed.. does that mean that Lea would then house Axel's new grown heart in him? or does the new heart thing not apply to his happenstance and is still just one heart?) Too many questions. Gonna go lie down now.
  21. I'm playing on proud mode, and I don't know why... I just keep dying, I keep getting overwhelmed. I played and beaten KH, BBS and KHII on proud and beating the Data battles and Lingering Will, I've also played and beaten all the other games on the DS on normal. But KHDDD on proud seems to be the hardest Kingdom Hearts game. I have Second Chance and well trained dreameaters, (although I've gotten sick of petting them, I do play the balloon game and water game with them) Anyway did anyone else have this much trouble in DDD? My friends tell me to "Spam flowmotion... just spam flowmotion" but I don't want to play like that, ya know?"
