  1. Morning all, After going over the previous trailers for KH3, one of the most recurring themes is the triumph of darkness and the struggle of light. Not only do we see this through the continuous reveals of Xehanort's SoDs, but also through the lack of formation of the GoLs. As of our current knowledge we know that Sora, Riku, Mickey, Lea and Kairi will participate in an initial battle against our base groups of enemies. However, that only leaves us at five members. I do not believe this to be a coincidence. Rather crucially the fates of four potential members have been deliberately shown to be fragile. Aqua is under Xehanort's influence, Ven appears to be compromised by Vanitas, Lingering Will is still trying to reclaim his body and the mystery of Roxas continues. Whilst on the Box Art, we have not seen either Xion or Namine, which still leaves their fate unknown- if anything has changed at all thus far regarding them. Add to the mix potentially Riku Replica- who again unlike Data Riku does not seem to be under Xehanort's influence, we now have a missing seven GoLs of light. Again I do not believe this to be a coincidence. The overall theme is about resolution and our seven missing GoLs still have unresolved fates, thus I believe limiting them from being part of the main GoLs going into the Final Battle. Instead, I think the fated battle will happen, but during the initial stages the final two members will become clear. The initial two members from the trailers appear to suggest Terra or at least the Lingering Will and potentially Roxas, due to the fact we can match the background during his reveal matching the same as the one in the Xbox Trailer with Xehanort and his cronies standing on top. However, we do not know the outcome of the Lingering Will's battle nor do we know Roxas's fate- he could well be under Xehanort's influence. We need to see what the final trailers have in store for us and then go over the previous material again.
  2. (This is a part of my "Explained" series of posts. To view my "Time Travel Explained" post, click here, to view my "Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters Explained" post, click here, to view my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post, click here, and to view my "The Braig/Xigbar Situation Explained" post, click here.) To start this off, I will first have to explain the differences between all of the "χ" titles of Kingdom Hearts games: Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] was a Japanese-only browser game that is now discontinued. So, in order to experience this title, you can watch all of the story-related cutscenes translated to English in the YouTube playlist here. You can also watch a full English translated playthrough in the YouTube playlist here. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ was the name of an iOS and Android smartphone game before it got rebranded to "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]." Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is essentially a rebranding of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ. You don't have to get Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, because by getting Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross], you are getting Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, since it's a part of the title. They renamed the app to "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]" to help promote the "season two" of the game, which is titled "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]." Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover is a movie included in the Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue HD collection for the PlayStation 4. Yes, Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, and Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] are all different titles. They are not remakes or remasters of each other. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] is a rebranding of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, as well as the name of the "season two" of the game. Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover is a movie that tells some of the story of Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], but through the perspective of different characters. These things makes all of these separate Kingdom Hearts titles. It's sort of difficult to explain how Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]without spoiling things, so here's an explanation that's light on spoilers and one that's heavy on spoilers: Spoiler-light explanation: Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], because at the end of the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], something happened to the characters which causes them to go through their entire journey again, except without the finale (the Keyblade War). Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is you playing as the character from the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] going through their entire journey again, except without the finale. So, as you can see, Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ sort of acts as a mobile port of the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], as well as a sequel to it. The "season two" of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, called "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]" continues the game from after the characters have completed going through their entire journey a second time. Spoiler-heavy explanation: A part of Ava's role given to her by The Master of Masters is to divide the Dandelions into five different Unions with their own Union leaders, just like how the Foretellers were the Union leaders of five different Unions. The five Dandelion Union Leaders are Ephemer, Skuld, Ventus, Brain, and Strelitzia. Marluxia's original self, Lauriam, has killed Strelitzia, took her copy of the Dandelion Union Leader rule book, and then took her spot among the Dandelion Union Leaders. They are to go into the Unchained realm (the realm of sleep) in order to prepare for the world after and to forget their moments of tragedy (their memories of the Keyblade War). To make this happen, the Chirithys owned by the Dandelions will bring their owners into the Unchained realm (they're Dream Eaters, so they can do this) and they have to lie to the Dandelions and say that the Keyblade War was just a dream and they can't tell them they're in the Unchained realm. This is all to make them forget their moments of tragedy because those memories won't be needed in the world after, according to The Master of Masters. The only people who know about these lies that they have to tell the Dandelions are the Dandelion Union Leaders, Ava, The Master of Masters, and the Chirithys. Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ is a sequel to the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] that takes place in the Unchained realm. During the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], the Dandelions (as well as the soon to be Dandelion Union Leaders) went into the Unchained realm. The Dandelion Union Leaders then left the Unchained realm and came back to the real world after the Keyblade War ended, while the rest of the Dandelions stayed in the Unchained realm. The Player survived the Keyblade War, and Ephemer and Skuld decided to make the Player a late Dandelion. The Player's Chirithy took the Player to the Unchained realm and had them forget what happened. Now, this is when Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ begins. There, in the Unchained realm, the Player and all the Dandelions are repeating their entire journey from the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] over again in order to have them forget the Keyblade War and make it seem like it was just a dream. They're within their own dreams, just like how Sora was within his own dreams near the end of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance. Now, in the "season two" of Kingdom Hearts Unchained χ, called "Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross]," the Player and the Dandelions have finally caught up with and gone through their entire journey from the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] over again (except without the Keyblade War). The Player has begun getting flashbacks from the Keyblade War. They think it's just from a dream though. The group of Dandelion Union Leaders go from the Keyblade Graveyard back to Daybreak Town and decide to celebrate by providing new Spirits for the Dandelions. Ephemer goes with Skuld and Ventus to collect the necessary ingredients, while Brain and Lauriam stay behind in order to prepare. Soon after, a Chirithy approaches the Player and, using some of Player's Chirithy's fur, creates a "pet" Spirit for them. In the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], the Foretellers used the Book of Prophecies to conjure up illusions/projections of worlds of the future. These are the Disney worlds in the game. In these projected worlds, the Keyblade wielders are to destroy Heartless (which are also conjured up projections from the future) in order to gather Lux (light) from the future. In the original Kingdom Hearts χ[chi], all of the Disney worlds that the characters go to, all of the Disney characters that the characters meet, and all of the Heartless (except for Darklings) are just illusions/projections conjured up by the Book of Prophecies. Since The Master of Masters and Luxu both disappeared and the Foretellers (presumably) died in the Keyblade War, there is no one to conjure up the illusory worlds of the future any more. So, The Master of Masters created data versions of the worlds in advance. The worlds that the Dandelions are going to in the Unchained realm are these data worlds. Maleficent was stabbed by the Keyblade of Heart by Riku in the first Kingdom Hearts. This gave her the ability to time travel. So, she time traveled to the past in order to try and rewrite history and make it so she wasn't defeated. She time traveled to after the Keyblade War and ended up in the data version of Enchanted Dominion. A data version of herself exists there, so she was able to time travel there. She was unaware that it was a data world until a shadowy figure calling himself "Darkness" pointed it out to her. He explained that The Master of Masters knew she was going to do this, and prepared the data version of Enchanted Dominion to trap her in in advance, so that she would not be in the real world. He does not want her in the real world since she possesses memories and knowledge of the future. "Darkness" then explains to her that she needs to return to her own time. If you would like to know how time travel works and how Maleficent was able to time travel since she was stabbed by a Keyblade, you can check out my "Time Travel Explained" post here. And if you would like to know more about the Unchained realm (the realm of sleep), you can check out my "The Realm of Sleep Explained" post here. Here's a simple step-by-step of what you should do to experience the entire "χ" story: 1.) Watch the story-related cutscenes for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi] translated to English. You can watch them in the YouTube playlist here. You can also watch a full English translated playthrough in the YouTube playlist here. 2.) Watch the Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover movie that's included in Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. If you've already seen it, then watch it again since it will now make a lot more sense after watching the story-related cutscenes for Kingdom Hearts χ[chi]. 3.) Watch the first cutscene in Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage- Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue. This cutscene with Luxu takes place after Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover. If you've already seen it, then take a look at it again since it will make a lot more sense now. 4.) Download Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] for iOS or Android. 5.) Play Kingdom Hearts Union χ[Cross] for iOS or Android. If you don't want to play it, then you can just watch the cutscenes. It's very repetitive and long, so I understand if you don't want to play it, but I recommend giving it a shot. If you don't like it and decide to just watch the story-related cutscenes, then you can watch them in the YouTube playlist here. The game is still ongoing, so I will update that playlist whenever new story-related cutscenes come out. And that's it!
  3. So I've been running my girlfriend through KH from beginning to end, and we just finished BBS in its entirety. And ive been mulling over my favorite ongoing wuotes from KH as a whole and the one that I've always loved is "destiny is never left to chance." Honestly, I could have sworn it was used more than once or twicd. But the only instance I've been able to find is MX saying it during the climax in Dream Drop Distance. Is there any other times it's actually said? I always wished it was as notable a quote as "may your heart be your guiding key." Halp?
  4. Hello again! It's been awhile, anyway after replaying the series again and reflecting on the trailers, my biggest question now is regarding the concept of light and is it strong enough to withstand the darkness? From the start of the series ( I'll start chronologically here with the Chi series), light has been viewed in a positive light and as both players and our characters we tend to favour the light and it is seen as worthwhile of protecting. In philosophical terms, the light represents peace, tolerance and I'd say justice. Whereas the forces of darkness are seen to bring ruin, destruction and misery to others. Throughoutnthe series, light always triumphs. Whether this is merely stopping the disney villains succeeding in their plans or the overall game with the organisation being defeated. The closest the darkness has been to winning is during BBS with the fate of the Ven, Aqua and Terra, but even then the darkness did not win as X blade was destroyed and Xehanort did not win outright. In relation to KH3, I think it's high time the light was challenged and perhaps even defeated ( temporaily as I'll explain). Whilst we can theorise that the seven guardians of light will be established and will probably win the new Keyblade War, I think the darkness should challenge the light like never before. I want one of either Maleficient and Pete or Xehanort to be successful. I'll explain how and why each scenario could work and how light would be challenged. Let's start off with the obvious scenario and that's Xehanort. The darkness could challenge light in numerous ways, either act as a barrier to prevent the lights forming and require a change of tactics ( say one of the suspected lights cannot be saved in time for the war or despite Merlin's best efforts, Lea or Kairi isn't ready) then the darkness would have the upperhand, maybe prompting Sora to take extreme measures to bring Roxas back? Another way the Xehanort scenario could work would be that Xehanort' wins and the lights are defeated. My biggest fear would be an imbalance and I would not advocate this. However, let's say the X blade is formed and briefly darkness is in control, how would light retaliate? We don't need to necessarily kill any of the lights of to have a ' dark' story, but if the war tilts towards the darkness, then in the finale of the game, we could see how light responds to facing defeat and make the victory seem hard won and justified. Maleficent would be my preferred choice to tilt things towards the darkness. We know she's looking for the box and I'm banking on her finding it. The rest of this scenario depends on what is inside the box... I don't think it will be the fragments of the X blade as that would be too obvious and it wouldn't make sense why Xehanort didn't try and find it througout his master hood. I'm leaning towards it either being related to the Book of Prophecies or something unexpected ( perhaps the MoMs heart?) thus when Malefiecient finds it the contents will be a surprise and present a new threat to the light. We know she isn't actively aiming to get in Sora's way, which is why having her be successful is preferred. She would present Sora with a new challenge and one which must be dealt with, consider it another arc in the game. This would be a diversion from the battle with Xehanort and would be unexpected to both sides. It would be highly unlikely Xehanort had precautions in place for such an event and the light would be forced to act rashly to prevent her succeeding. Also from a plot perspective, this could be how the series continues, let's say the box opens and darkness consumes a world and during a heated battle a single heart escapes somewhere, alluding towards someone or Maleficient summons future characters to our world and one escapes and awaits their own destiny.... Either way, the concept of light needs to be challenged and darkness needs to have momentum. If the light wins easily, then the threat of darkness is diminished. we know the game will be darker, and people will suspect deaths, but I feel as if darkness is handled well then light can be challenged without death. In my opinion we need to see light close to expiring, we need to see those on the side of light make rash decesions and feel hopeless, likewise we need to see darkness in it's glory, if we're going with a reason for light to win, have darknes become overconfident and cause it's own defeat. To conclude, the series has expanded from having the light triumph relatively easily, it's high time the concept of darkness provided a true challenge and one that should have an element of success.

  6. Thanks to the newest KHUX Quests, we now know that you do not need to have prior knowledge about KHX in order to understand KHUX, because they are starting to put flashbacks of KHX in the game, and some of them are even playable. For those who don't know, KHUX is actually technically a sequel to KHX. At the end of KHX, the Player got brought to the Unchained realm and has to relive their entire journey of KHX once again, except without the moments of tragedy (the Keyblade War). This happens to all of the Dandelions. The entirety of KHUX has been the Player reliving their journey from KHX, which means it's a sequel. Since this is the case, I, along with many other people, were worried that this would mean that you would have to have prior knowledge about KHX in order to understand KHUX, which would be completely unreasonable for the average KH fan who's already struggling to understand the lore. But, since they are putting flashbacks to what happened before, KHX is no longer needed! It would probably help to have prior knowledge about KHX since I doubt the flashbacks will show absolutely everything that happened, but for the most part, all you have to do in order to understand the X story is to play KHUX and watch X Back Cover!
  7. We know that after the Keyblade War happened and after Kingdom Hearts was lost to darkness, the World was recreated and reborn. Before the Keyblade War in the Age of Fairy Tales, the World was one massive piece of land. We do not know if it was an infinite flat piece of land or if it was just a massive planet or something, but we do know that it was very different than how the World is now. After the Keyblade War, something caused the World to be recreated into a World comprised of many smaller worlds/planets. One of the biggest questions I have always wondered about KH is "What caused the World to be reborn?" I've always thought of different scenarios and answers that would make sense. The one that I always assumed was probably the correct answer was that the Keyblade War was so destructive that it split the World/massive planet into many smaller worlds/planets. But, I now have realized the true answer. I was rereading the Xehanort's Report and I came across a bit of info that I'm guessing went under many people's noses. The part I'm talking about is this: "And when Kingdom Hearts is complete, it is said the one who opens its door will bring about the creation of the Next World. Such a feat is above any human. Or, to put it a different way: whoever opens that door will be reborn as something far greater than human." It suddenly hit me when I read this. I've always assumed that no one was able to unlock Kingdom Hearts way back in the Age of Fairy Tales and the Keyblade War just simply caused it to fade away. But no, that's not the case. Someone was able to unlock Kingdom Hearts way back in the Age of Fairy Tales after the Keyblade War. Someone unlocked Kingdom Hearts and was reborn into something far greater than human and created the Next World. The Next World is the world that people are currently living in now. The Next World is the world that is comprised of many smaller worlds. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think I've seen a single person come to this realization yet. "How could we have been so blind?!" as King Mickey would say. Or maybe I'm just dumb and everyone has realized this already. This theory brings up many questions: Who unlocked Kingdom Hearts? Whoever they are basically became a god. Where is this godlike entity now? How does this connect with the Dandelions? I've always been a huge critic of the theory that some characters might be reincarnations of characters from the Age of Fairy Tales since it doesn't really have much evidence, but this could maybe mean that a character we know might be this godlike entity that was reborn. What do you think about all of this? What do you think this theory implies? How do you think this theory connects to everything? Any details I'm missing? EDIT: Another thing to note is that in the same Report, Xehanort states "To this day, no one has ever managed to open the door to Kingdom Hearts", but maybe he just doesn't know that it was unlocked way back then? Maybe this theory is completely incorrect, but it seems to fit so perfectly. How else would the World have been recreated into one with many smaller worlds? This theory makes way too much sense in my opinion to not be at least somewhat true.
  8. This is where I admit firstly, be careful what you wish for, ages ago I said I would like to learn about character backgrounds etc and then the Chi secret ending happened and Nomura's new artwork. Now I like Ventus and I do want to see how he is woken up. However, by potentially making him originate from the Chi era, we might as well slam our heads against a wall. I'll leave it to others to discuss whether Ven is a Dandelion or due to being in a comatose state is a ' sleeping vessel'. However, if Ven does originate from the Chi era then my biggest potential issue is that Time Travel can have even more of an importance. In order to time travel you need to have a version of yourself back in that time period, for many this was reassuring as this excluded Sora from being able to travel years in the past to participate in the first keyblade war etc. Now, if Ven is from that era then it becomes plausible that he at least will be able to travel back to his original era. I have nothing against referencing Chi characters in KH3, but if Nomura chose to go down this path, it would only complicate matters even more. I mean, events are fixed in history, so nothing major could be changed, but it would feel a cheap cop out If this route was used in KH3 IT just makes back cover a lot more interesting
  9. They literally gave us armor to prepare... holy crap, are we going to get missions in the future where they take place DURING the Keyblade War?? Leopardos, prepare yourselves ;_;
  10. I was curious and I wanted to look up on Google Images and see what I get if I searched for "keyblade war". I found my way to this. This is someone's favorites on Deviantart and I must say, some of the artwork of the Keyblade War is cool, but also startling and probably a little horrifying. Take a look here: http://animebella009.deviantart.com/favourites/60257501/keyblade-war
  11. I was reminiscing about last year's E3 trailer and was thinking about interesting topics to talk about ( I did consider a post about the different geographical areas of the game- yet I don't think many would care about a post about mountains; rivers and fields etc) and decided to argue my case on why we should play as Young Xehanort in the introduction; from a plot perspective and necessity. Starting with the most important and obvious reason: 1) we actually don't know a lot about his backstory- we know he got off the Islands ( somehow), we know he becomes a keyblade wielder ( somehow), we know he is trained by a master who loves the story about the lost masters ( cough foretellers) ( also someone). Yet whilst we know about Old Man Xehanort and his current ambitions. We do not know: how Xehanort became a keyblade wielders; how he later obtains the keyblade we are accustomed to him wearing; how and why he became obsessed with the keyblade war ( by this I mean was it his master's charisma/Xehanort being power hungry/Altruistic intentions etc); what worlds he attended to in his youth; the list actually goes on. Whilst we could learn this from playing as Eraqus; I'd argue playing as Xehanort will allow us to explore the character on a much needed personal level. If we fully understand the character then we can either have more intentions to defeat him or feel for him when he is defeated. 2) playing as the ' good guy's' is getting dull- yes; I know we will take control of Sora who is undoubtedly a hero; but I mean for a change; albeit a small one . It would be fun to play as a bad guy for once; who knows we might even be able to dab into darker areas from a gameplay perspective too? 3) gives us a valid reason to return to Dive To The Heart- I'd be willing to wager this section of the game returns; I mean it enables us to choose between the Sword/Shield/Staff ( always the shield) which determines the abilities we gain through levelling up; however Sora; Roxas and Ven have been there and yes I'm aware there are multiple other characters who could go there; enabling the player to essentially choose Young Xehanort's path is way too tempting. Not only does it allow us a legit reason to return: but also helps us connect to Xehanort too. If we choose his path; then technically we have set the course for what will eventually play in the KH games thus far; which I feel would be a neat touch. 4) playing as young Eraqus wouldn't answer all the questions- this links to my first point; yes it would be cool to play as Eraqus; however we'd still be none the wiser to a lot of answers; which wouldn't help the plot. Therefore I'd have nothing against having cutscenes exclusive to Eraqus; but I feel as mentioned above; playing as Young Xehanort would be excellent to providing needed answers. 5) the chess scene is the start of the game- I'm anticipating the response that people will want either exclusive Sora Intro/ Kairi in training etc. However we know for a fact this is the start: so it wouldn't make sense to show this then have someone else such as Kairi playable in the intro. I fully support the concept for having the Intro during this timeline rather than currently as I feel we'll gain more out of it story wise. Also how random would it be to have inevitable sentences which only Nomura fully understands; a funky song followed by the chess scene then bam here's Kairi to play as. I know I for one would be seriously puzzled. So; that's a few reasons. For me the perfect Intro would be the inevitable sentences which make no sense; a funky song followed by the chess scene; then allowing us to fully explore the secrets and backstory of our main antagonist; perhaps even swaying a few people to his side?, neatly setting the scene for the game; before switching back to the Mysterious Tower and cue the game as Sora.
  12. The last story update was very, very, very Interesting and made me think think of possible scenarios of ways we could relate this to Kh3 and the upcoming Keyblade War. Firstly I'll provide a summary to serve as a hypothesis for a potential ' Heartless of the Fallen' scenario. Our Avatar encounters a new character called Skuld who appears to have come from the same faction as our missing friend Ephemera. In her dream Ephemera told her to seek out our Avatar and also added that the End is near. We then hear a loud explosion nearby and see 2 Foretellers in full combat; this is where a group of Heartless appear and start to demand for the Lux. Prompting a fight between them and us, the Dark Chirithy then reveals they were ex keyblade wielders that gave into the darkness... Right; let me know explain my ' Heartless of the Fallen' situation ( Later becoming Seeekrs of Darkness) I believe that when a Keyblade wielders becomes a heartless then the ' Fallen wielder' maintains full consciousness and has free will to decide their actions rather than Heartless purely seeking out new hearts to capture. Although a brief defintion; I hope you get the basic drift. Now if they willingly accept darkness then I'd wager that this makes them the amongst the truly first ' Seekers of Darkness'. This is my first small tie in to KH3- I don't believe these new enemies want the Lux to simply eradicate the light; however I think like Xehanort they want the Lux to create an Equilibrium between Light and Darkness. However if one wanted to take another path and believe that our ' Seekers of Darkness' do wish to have the light themselves then we could relate this to the Keyblade War where the light was fought over and seeing as power is a key element to the fall of these wielders then this could explain their motivation. Linking directly to the Keyblade War- I believe that these wielders belong to the same faction as those of the 6th apprentice. Just because they didn't become a foreteller we have no evidence to suggest that they didn't take on apprentices of their own and I believe what we fought were the ex apprentices of the 6th apprentice and that whilst the foretellers probably did clash; I believe these seekers of darkness also contributed to the war and perhaps we'll see a shift from the Foretellers clashing to the original ' Guardians of Light' ( foretellers; our avatar and the other apprentices) vs the 6th apprentice and the seekers of darkness. Not only would this increase the importance of the 6th apprentice; but also directly relate to Kh3. I'd be willing to wager that the second keyblade war will play a similar way to the above. Also and this is the part which may seem controversial; what If either the 12 other seekers of darkness Morphed into what we saw in KH3 and that a fully norted person evolves to one of these beings? Or secondly what if during the final battle with Xehanort; he completely accepts the darkness and becomes a ' seeker of darkness' and this could act as an Almost ' God form' meaning he'd be hard to defeat and that the Lux gathered during CHI provides Sora with the strength to defeat him.
  13. So with all the hype going on for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 -Final Chapter Prologue- going on, I decided to make a mock up version of what the menu or title screen may look like for the game. I previously uploaded an image to the gallery here and now its finished and ready for viewing. Keep in mind that since there hasn't been any official artwork released yet for the collection (because well it was just announced )that all the artwork is stock or specifically created in gimp, oh and this video was created in Adobe Premiere CC 2015 for anyone who's wondering. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkrVC2Abv3c&feature=youtu.be

  15. There's this one theory I've had that's been bugging me lately, and I just had to let it out now. Now my thoughts on this are currently a mess so bare with me I've been thinking about different aspects of the Kingdom Hearts universe, one in particular which is the law that Light and Darkness co-exist. Refer back to King Mickey's words, "The worlds are made up of both light and darkness; you can't have one without the other, because darkness is half of everything." But that's not all. What I really want to address is the struggle of Light and Darkness that has been going on since the inception of the series. We all know that they must co-exist no matter what, and that means they cannot be against one another. This time I'll call upon Fairy Godmother's words to Aqua in Birth by Sleep. She pretty much says that darkness stems from light and that both elements go hand in hand, hence light cannot be used to fight the darkness, and vice-versa. With these aspects in mind I want you to think about this: Young Xehanort's words to Young Eraqus in the most recent teaser for Kingdom Hearts III, "On that land shall darkness prevail and light expire." This quote had baffled me ever since I heard it, and I thought he was referring to the first Keyblade War where Darkness did prevail. But recently, I've changed my way of thinking. Since this is set when Eraqus and Xehanort were still training, I think that perhaps this is foreshadowing the outcome of the first Keyblade War in addition to the one coming in Kingdom Hearts III. As we know, it will be a struggle between Light and Darkness, and I think that perhaps Darkness will prevail once more. I hate to say it, but the evidence points to that outcome, if nothing is done to intervene. All clashes between the Light and the Darkness have resulted in something tragic/catastrophic, have they not? The first Keyblade War caused the true Kingdom Hearts to plunge into darkness, and countless wielders lost their lives for the X-blade and the universe was reduced to nothing. What about Ventus versus Vanitas to hastily forge the X-blade? Ventus lost his heart and became comatose. Terra versus Eraqus? Eraqus supposedly dies, due to the fact that he couldn't accept Darkness existing; he saw Light as the only way. What am I trying to say here? It's that clashing Light and Darkness together results in a severe consequence. Therefore, in order to defy fate in Kingdom Hearts III, the Guardians of Light need to fight the new Organization XIII with something else, not the Light. They need some kind of alternate weapon to stop the Darkness from prevailing. What is that weapon? I do not know. This is just a speculation of mine, so no flaming. I would like to discuss this possibility with you as mature fans. Please leave your thoughts below and tell me if you think this makes sense or not. If you have any evidence that can scrap this theory, fire away But as far as I'm concerned, this is very probable. Peace!
  16. So I was thinking about everything that Xehanort said in DDD, and then it occured to me...... 7 members of Light...... 13 members of Darkness......... The 7 Lights all have Keyblades, but the 13 Darknesses do not. YET. You cannot have a Keyblade War if only half the participants have Keyblades, can you? That would be an unfair match. Master Xehanort and young Xehanort have theirs, but doesn't that mean that the others: Xigbar, Saix, Xemnas, Ansem SoD, and etc. will eventually have to have Keyblades of their own? And with that being said, will Xemnas fight with two like Roxas? That would be quite a battle wouldn't it? I know it would be strange seeing Ansem SoD with a Keyblade since he already has that large creepy thing to do the fighting for him, but is it me, or is that thing not as powerful as it used to be? At the end of DDD, Donald and Goofy crashed into him, and that was enough to make him drop Riku and Mickey. Again, it's all just speculation....but I think that if Lea/Axel could go from two Chakrams to a Keyblade, then someone like Xigbar could also go from two guns to a Keyblade. Not to mention that the way Saix holds his Claymore is very similar to the way Ventus holds his Keyblade.
