  2. Post your theories below about who you think it the traitor and why, and I will edit this post to include them. Theories that I've thought of: There is no traitor, it was all just a set-up by the Master of Masters. The Master of Masters is the traitor, because he set them all up (this one is sort of just another way to interpret the first theory). They're all the traitor, because they all turned against each other at some point (just another way to interpret the first theory). Luxu is the traitor, because the Lost Page talks about an inevitable betrayal by "the one who bears the sigil" and Luxu is the only one with an "x" in his name (presumably. The Master of Masters' name might be "X Super", so he could be a candidate for the traitor as well.) Saix/Isa is the traitor. Who ever said the Book of Prophecies was talking about an inevitable betrayal in the age of fairy tales? Maybe it was talking about a betrayal in the future (present-day)? All of the Seekers of Darkness "bear the sigil", but the person I can most likely see betraying Xehanort is Saix/Isa. Aced is the traitor. "The one who bears the sigil" could be a bear pun, because Aced has a bear mask. This one seems silly, but the Master of Masters is very silly sometimes, so who knows. The Player is the traitor, because we are told by the Master of Masters that if there's a Nightmare Chirithy, it belongs to the traitor. The only person we know to have a Nightmare Chirithy is the Player. (It could've just been a part of the Master of Masters manipulating them and setting them up though of course).
  3. Kingdom Hearts X (Chi) and SALIGIA: the Key to an Allegory By Jesus C. Deytiquez Disclaimer: The following (except those validated or founded facts in the Kingdom Hearts series) are my own speculations based with research and knowledge. And sorry for the grammatical errors if there is/are. Reincarnation Theory I know that there is a theory spreading among the fans of Kingdom Hearts like me that proposes the idea that the foretellers and their master, the Master of Masters, will die and then be reincarnated into the several characters that we are very familiar with (e.g. Sora being the reincarnation of Gula). I really cannot say that I am one hundred percent certain with the accuracy of what I will be going to show in this article, but, maybe, just maybe, my speculations will help my fellow fans to reconsider or rethink the aforementioned theory. My Story I am a writer and I like reading and writing allegories, or stories that hide deeper meanings in them through symbolism or imagery, with the goal (although somewhat paradoxical) that by masking such meanings, the meanings will be understood by the reader in a way that a normal presentation cannot do. I like the allegories of C.S. Lewis, Dante Alighieri, John Bunyan, and other Christian writers; they all utilize their character’s name and personality to present several ideas to their reader. One common thing also about them is that they always introduce to their readers the seven deadly sins, namely, pride, avarice, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth by creating characters of their own, based on the sins with related names and suitable personalities—the seven antagonists in the anime Full Metal Alchemist will be the contemporary example of this allegorical style. And these characters representing the seven deadly sins will be the characters that the protagonist will need to encounter and overcome during his or her journey. And I, moved by the beauty of their stories and that particular style, tried to write my own. My Research, Discovery, the Seven Deadly Sins, and the Master of Masters’ Name During my attempt to create my own allegory, of course, I also done some further research to aid me in my endeavor. Ex nihilo nihil fit. From nothing comes nothing. I need to receive first before I can give. Then I discovered along the way that the seven deadly sins, when translated to Latin, will have these names: Superbia, Avaritia, Luxuria, Invidia, Gula, Ira, and Acedia (SALIGIA). By the time I discovered this, mysteriously, I also discovered that there is an android game of my all-time-favorite game, Kingdom Hearts, which is Kingdom Hearts X (Chi) or which now called as Kingdom Hearts Union Cross. (This happened way back late 2016.) I hastily installed the app, and you can imagine my surprise when I learned the name of the foretellers who were the leaders of the five unions. The five foretellers possess names from the seven deadly sins! Master Ava is avaritia. Master Invi is invidia. Master Aced is acedia, and so forth. In other words, the Master of Master’s name, which is still unrevealed last time I checked, is almost sure to be Superbia or some shortened version of that Latin word for pride. I know that it is really fitting for the Master of Masters’ name to be a name for pride because, according to the Christian faith from which the concept of the seven deadly sins originated, pride is the father or master of all remaining deadly sins. Furthermore, all other sins still have some love for others in them or they really on other persons to exist (e.g. you can get mad or be wrathful to a person because you still have, no matter how imperfect or perverted, some care or love for that person, you can envy a person because you perceive him to be better than you etc.). But pride only focuses on itself. Remember the keyblades of the foretellers. All have hearts in them except for the keyblade of the Master of Masters. In support of this, remember how the Master of Masters seemed to be apathetic to what is to befall. But, you might, of course, object that that particular keyblade will be passed on later to Luxu and then to Xehanort. Yes, it was passed on later to several persons, but such objection can be answered easily through analysis of the personalities of the successors and the sins themselves. Lust can easily become more like its father when it is, ultimately, already about satisfying the pleasure of the self alone. And, remember also how Xehanort used Terra and his friends for his own “selfish” reason. The Seven Lights or Virtues Now we will return to the reincarnation theory. I think that if there are seven deadly sins or vices, then there will be also seven virtues that the Christian faith also enumerated, namely, Humility or Humilitas, Charity or Caritas, Chastity or Castitas, Kindness or Humanitas, Temperance or Temperantia, Patience or Patientia, and Diligence or Industria. I believe that these virtues, being contrary to them, are what the foretellers lacked or even repelled respectively, and such lacking and repulsion of those virtues became the reason for their own downfall (I can still remember a clip showing Ira lacking patience during the crisis, being wrath). Sora, Kairi, Riku, Ventus, Aqua, and Terra are the six of those seven virtues or guardians of the light while King Mickey will be the leader. And you can see, dear reader, how very suitable it is for King Mickey to be Humilitas because a mouse is commonly seen as lowly or humble. In other words, the two leaders of warring factions are King Mickey and Superbia. Humility and Pride. Thirteen Seekers of Darkness and Twelve Seekers of Light But of course there are also a dark group called the Thirteen Seekers of Darkness, and currently such group only has six members namely Master Xehanort, Young Xehanort, Terra-Xehanort (heartless), Terra-Xehanort (nobody), Xigbar, and Saïx. How can such a group be completed? One very probable answer is: by adding the fallen seven deadly sins or foretellers. Thus, maybe, just maybe, the foretellers did not really die and got reincarnated to become our seven guardians of the light just as what the reincarnation theory says, but only became fallens and just wandered somewhere and somehow, only to be gathered by the liar and schemer, Superbia to join his student (probably), Xehanort, for a later battle against the denizens of the light. If the aforementioned is true, then the seven guardians of the lights are clearly outnumbered. But let us also remember that thirteen, which is considered as an evil number, also have a positive counterpart: number twelve. Remember that in the Judeo-Christian tradition, the number twelve, along with one, three, five, and seven, is a number for perfection. Furthermore, the Catholic tradition listed twelve fruits of the Holy Spirit: Charity, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Generosity, Gentleness, Faithfulness, Modesty, Self-Control, and Chastity. Christ, on the other hand, enumerated thirteen things on Mark 7:21-22 that defile and arise in the heart: wicked thoughts; acts of immorality, of theft, of murder, of adultery, of greed, of maliciousness, deceit, immoderate conduct, an Evil Eye (remember the eye in the keyblade of the Master of Master’s?), blasphemy, arrogance, and lack of good sense.1 Therefore, there must really be twelve seekers of light! Now, aside from Master Yen Sid, Lea is an additional keyblade wielder in the series, and there is also an official video showing Xion and Roxas joining the fight with Sora and his pals. If they really are the additional four seekers, then there are already eleven seekers of light. I wonder who will complete the group? Maybe one or several of the characters in KHUX will be the one(s) to complete the missing spot/s or replace any or even all of the probable four: Ephemer, Strelitzia, Skuld, our character in KHUX, Blaine (though very unlikely and suspicious), and Lauriam (also very unlikely and suspicious). Though still outnumbered by one it is better than only seven, and let us recall also that in the Christian faith, it is the disadvantaged or the weak or the poor that emerges at the end. In Short… Here are the two theories I harbor for the mystery introduced by the age of the foretellers and the Master of Master’s: Superbia or the Master of Masters is the ultimate villain and Invi was the traitor. What is Invi’s mask? A snake. We all know that in Judeo-Christian faith, it is out of envy that Cain betrayed and killed his brother, Abel. Does this mean Invi, a snake, is the one who betrayed them? It is kind of obvious. But the again, is there really any traitor? As what I have said earlier, the devil (known as the father of all lies and as pride which is the father of all sins) is symbolized in Kingdom Hearts, in my own opinion, as the Master of Masters. He might just have lied to all in order for them to kill one another to try to form Kingdom Hearts or the X-blade at the expense of their souls or hearts. He might have just instructed Ava to save some special keyblade wielders or dandelions in order for them to be his backup guinea pigs in case the keyblade war failed to bring his selfish desire fruition; of course, erasing their memories, as what he ordered to Ava, will be very helpful and safe for his plan if ever. (Remember the connection of Ventus as a Dandelion in KHUX and as a boy with no memories in Birth by Sleep.) Kingdom Hearts as a Christian Allegory Now, as an extra, let us ponder on this question: is Kingdom Hearts a Christian allegory? Before I say my opinion about the key or the main theme of Kingdom Hearts series, I would like to warn the reader that if he or she does not like religious matters or hate them, especially those concerning Christianity, he or she is free to read some other article. Now, for those who still willed to accompany me up until the end, I will say that, in my own opinion, Kingdom Hearts’ theme, the very key that connects all worlds in it, is ultimately, very Christian. Of course, the stained glasses are very much related to Christianity, but these particular beauty in the game are only one part (that started it all) of the many things that convinced me to believe and propose such opinion. Consider one of the most crucial points in Kingdom Hearts: Sora’s sacrifice. Like Christ, he sacrificed his life for his beloved. He, in a sense died, in order for Kairi to live. Sora is a Christ-like figure in the Kingdom Hearts. He is the one to mend all the hurting. And since we talked about Sora’s sacrifice and remembered how he became a heartless and a nobody, we might as well talk about the keyblade, the heartless and the nobodies. There are three forces in the world of Kingdom Hearts: the keyblade, the heartless, and the nobodies (as what Roxas drawing shown us in KHII). I believe that the keyblade symbolizes the goodness of God; the heartless symbolizes the people who were consumed by the sin in their hearts; the nobodies are those who are in between or those who are in a state very akin with being in limbo. Of course the people in Kingdom Heart’s world will also symbolize normal human beings like us, and we can all chose which side we will be: the keyblade’s or in God’s side where we will experience everlasting joy in the end, or the forever darkness or hell or eternal suffering because of unappeasable or unquenchable hunger or thirst caused by the hole in one’s chest, or in limbo where we will be in a state of not really suffering nor joyful. In the end it is the keyblade or the goodness or grace of God that will save us from both of the latter and undesirable ends. In support of the aforementioned, normal people like wielders in the Kingdom Hearts world can feel all kind of emotions, the heartless only the unappeasable hunger or thirst to fill the hole in their chest, and the nobodies does not really feel anything. (Special and good nobodies like Roxas might be considered as those who are in purgatory, or a place in hell where souls suffer for a while to become cleansed and later on be in heaven or become “truly real”.) Consider the possessors of the keyblade with no heart: the Master of Masters, Luxu, and Xehanort. They symbolize the demonic side. Aside from the facts or premises already stated earlier, consider this: the sign of the devil looks like what? A goat’s head. What animal did Christ use as a symbol for those who rejected Him until the end? Goat. What animal design does that particular keyblade that the Master of Masters, Luxu, and Xehanort possess/ed? A goat’s head. Since we are on the subject, I think the masks or animal representations of the foretellers are also very fitting for them. A bear hibernates thus can be considered as lazy. A unicorn, as described in mythologies, have a short-temper and can fly into a very bloodthirsty rage, and thus can be considered wrathful. A fox is considered as cunning. A snake, a traitor. A jaguar, a hasty and deadly animal. Trinity is also always being subtly emphasized in KH. Sora, Kairi, and Riku. Ventus, Aqua, and Terra. Roxas, Xion, and Axel. Hayner, Pence, and Olette. The keyblade, heartless, and nobodies. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy—speaking of Mickey, Mickey Mouse’s head is (this one added as a kind of a joke) composed of three circles. The wielder, the keyblade, and the spirit. The wielder can be seen as the Father. The keyblade can be seen as the instrument for salvation or the Son. The Chirity is the guide or the Holy Spirit. Chi is for cross right? Which can mean Christian. Chirity sounds like a mix of the words Chi, trinity and spirit, right? So, the introduction of the Chirity might be pointing to us the symbolism of the Holy Trinity which is the very cornerstone of Christianity, through the interconnection of the wielder, the keyblade, and the spirit. Of course, the Master of Masters may have also lied that he was the one who created them (the chirities). And of course there is the reverse side too. There are the corrupt wielders, the keyblades of darkness, and the nightmare chirities. There is the devil, evil persons or his angels, and the spirit of the antichrist. The devil, as what many saints describe him, likes to turn good and beautiful things into evil and ugly things. For an example look at the reversed cross. The true cross is where the justice and mercy of God kissed, for the salvation of humankind, and the original reversed cross is a sign of St. Peter’s martyrdom and love for Christ. Yet look at the symbol of the antichrist: a reversed cross. And also look at the hour of Christ’s death or the hour of divine mercy which is considered as three in the afternoon, then remember what is always considered to be the most ungodly hour or the devil’s hour (as popularized by the enemy’s agenda I am sure of it): three in the morning. And there is also the black coat that characters use to safely pass through the corridor of darkness and resist its corruption. Veteran readers of Christian mysticism and theology will be quickly triggered by the mention of these two—especially those who read St. John of the Cross, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, and St. Teresa of Calcutta; they all have written about that dark night of the soul where there is a darkness that will engulf the soul and enable her (the soul) to pass through a path, unnoticed, and finally meet her Beloved, who is God. The corridor of darkness might be a symbol for a path of suffering or spiritual dryness that the saints usually goes through, and the black coat is the night that will embrace the saint’s soul in order for her to be safely united with the Beloved. But in the end, there is also a hint of Manichaeism or Dualism in KH; Riku’s statement in KH II that light and darkness are eternal pretty much sums up those two beliefs. But of course, maybe he was just fooled by the earlier speech of Xehanort (nobody). But whether KH really endorse the aforementioned two or not, it will not change the fact that the good must be prior to evil and the two are not coeternal with one another; evil is just a perversion the good just as a spoiled food is an edible meal before as what C.S. Lewis once said.2 It is the desire to be powerful and own exclusively the light that made the Master of Masters be like who he is (Xehanort too!). It is because of the desire to be equal to God that Lucifer became a fallen angel. The foolish gods and goddesses of the myth that fought for the possession of the apple of self did not know that it is by sharing that a soul or two is blessed.3 Again it is pride or selfishness that introduced darkness into KH’s world and ours. It is only by Humility or love that the light will return much brighter than before. Ending Remarks There are many other premises and theories that I can include but this article of mine is already too long. Perhaps I will enumerate them in a future article. I am currently busy so I guess I will write that one in a distant future. Let’s meet again somewhere, sometime, and somehow! _________ 1. Elliot, J. (2016). Beware the Evil Eye (Vol. 3). 4. I'm cross posting this from another forum since I'd love to start a big discussion if I might be onto something. I've posted this on a facebook community page before. Buuuuut posting on it requires approval from mods, and they seem really slow... and, well, I am the curious type of person you see.. anyways. In that very personaly touching moment, where Ephemer and the Union X crew decided to come for Sora's aid, Sora recieves the power of Union X.Okay now.. listen. I am trying my best to follow this story the best I can. I may or may not have forgotten details. I am happy if it gets debunked as much as I would be if I may be on to something... I am just curious. Is it by any chance possible that this power, Union X, is the power of all our collected "Lux" before the great keyblade war?If this is the case, what does it mean? The light of the past?If that fight was the reason why we had to gather Lux..If that's the reason we had to give all our lifes for the greater good.. what does it mean in the grand scheme? What's the plan here?Who would've wanted and knew, that the fight against that Heartless Tornado might probably been just a teensy weensy too hard to handle?Who could've had the knowledge to plan something this brutal and heartless in advance, yet somehow change the future for a greater good? This guy must know something that I don't and it drives me nuts.We are to believe that not hundrets but thousands of thousands of Keyblade Wielders, children nonetheless, fought a war between themselves, slain and freed the hearts of their beloved bretheren, so they could take all the Lux they've gathered into a different age to assist in an event that would've perhaps CHANGED everything. And that's what I just don't like about it. The part about change. I've seen this before. I've seen this with Maleficent. And someone just keeps appearing on my radar who just doesn't seem to like it when things might start to change or go differently then nature intended.Maleficent tried it. Went back to the past to finally win against Prince Phillip. And it failed. Even with her knowledge of events going to happen. It stopped her.I don't even know who it is or even what. "Darkness" that Maleficent was having a chat with. The same one who I think told Maleficent about the Black Box in the first place.I really have no clue. Maleficent is a whole 'nother story anyways. But that's probably not the only reason for the keyblade war. As if.For what we know and they've told us, the keyblade war may just be the central point of where people started their journeys into the dream world. Went and hid themselves on the other side until it is safe again to come out.Like everyone even had their own little jobs they had to do.Not only the foretellers but also every single one who joined the Dandelions. There were five more who were chosen to lead the Unions after the war.We know that. Also there was that accident with Strelitzia, who we later found out was the sister of Marlu- Lauriam. But that doesn't matter either. What matters is that Ventus somehow stole Strelitzias place of being one of the chosen leaders after the war. Involuntary might I add. He just.. leaked through. Literally nobody invited him. That's for sure. There was a mention of betrayal once in the book of prophecy and some talk about a.. virus was it?Well what the heck does that mean now? Maybe Ventus knows more than he lets on.Maybe he is just another vessel inside many, many vessels. He might just be the very virus they were talking about.Or just the vessel who's delivering it.And no overreaction but why has noone ever told me how handsome Xig... Luxu is?!No homo handsome but def I'd vibe with that guy all day handsome.Like, he has a face that I would tell my deepest fears to.Eyes which tell stories of ages long forgotten. And a smile that just melts my oh so jolly heart. There is so much this could branch out into and yet so less there is available.Who knows but not the genius who started this all? And no. I was not talking about the Master of Masters.I was talking about Tetsuya Nomura. What ever the case. My curiosity will soon be rewarded. Either way.
  5. So just watched some videos on xigbar and I watched a part where he talks to zexion. Zexion states that xigbar is supposed to be recruiting new members. Xigbar says I just got one new one name mar or something. This is implying that xigbar and has recruited marluxia. Now this makes so much sense as how these people were brought into the future as we know xigbar is also the numbers of the are the last of the group. Just like big boi nort nort just put a little of his juices in them and they now can travel in time to their xigbar time period. This could explain the as well. Now with Ventus and sub X I believe this process was done the same and I also think he willing went back to give sub x to ansem. My reasoning for this is because he wants ansem to learn all about the heart and replicas so he can use them for the return of Mom or something of this sort. I’m almost certain that xigbar brought Ventus to the future as he looks at xion and sees Ventus. From what I remember xigbar never fought or seen Ventus like this. So maybe Ventus put up a fight before luxu aids in the corruption of daybreak being this virus. Or he tries to protect marluxia from being taken while larxene is in the mix. This could possibly give ven a motive to time travel. Points that I don’t yet know or need help with. Why does Ventus have darkness? How does Ventus get to the future as he’s the only real confirmed Union. Is this darkness because of the the corruption or brain/virus? Does brain get possessed by luxu or becomes the apprentice of luxu? If my theory holds true why does he need the new union leader?? Last thing a food for thought completely off subject. It’s never stated in the end game what this new game is going to be. Notice the chess pieces, cool we get it foretellers with the master of master makes 7 nothing special. Other side we have sora. Well what if it’s sora and the new union leaders. That would give us 6 and I’m keeping the 7 vs 13 as it’s how kh works (even though it’s 7 L and 13 D I have a theory for this too). Alright we now have 7 light because I’m adding marlys sister. Next the ancient org so that’s now 10. My last 3 are kairi Riku and Mickey by default making 13. Now I think that this will tie in with everything as a bridge game. Siax and the sea salt trio are finding sub X (skuld if true). Marly and the ancient org are trying to get his sister back. Ventus terra and aqua look for ephemer. Riku looks for sora. Sora looks for kairi (if she’s not back) then sora riku and kairi look for Brian (if not evil) if evil I think he’ll be replaced with a new original character. If this does happen it will clear up a lot of story behind each person and the event to come. Anyways tell me what you think and I’m extremely excited to hear.
  6. So I have a crazy theory... but it is a really really really long one. I hope you guys will enjoy this, because I put a lot of effort in this one. My English is not that super, but I did the best I can to translate it from Dutch (I'm from the Netherlands) to English. So if there is something you don't understand, please ask and I will do my best to help you. Anyways, grap a cup of coffee or tea or something else to drink, because you'll have some reading to do, haha. But I think you're gonna like this one. Enjoy! So, I've played KH 2.8 and after that I had some KH3 vibes. So I re-watched the KH3 E3 2015 trailer and I've noticed something. In the trailer we see a young version of Xehanort. In one of the shots we can see his face and there is something odd with his eyes. The eyes of Xehanort are more brownlike then yellow, but there is also a yellow glow in his eyes. Some people think this means that Xehanort is turning more and more to the darkness. But I think that’s not the case. I think there is more than meets the eye (see what I did there, haha). I think that Luxu has something to do with the eyes of Xehanort. Let me explain why… Let’s start with the Xehanort footage of the KH3 E3 2015 trailer. This is the way how young Xehanort looks in this footage: His eyes are not full yellow like we know from the other versions of Xehanort. But if we look closer, we can see a yellow glow around the brown color. Most of you guys knows that when Xehanort place his heart into a new vessel, the vessel’s eyes will turn yellow (and in some cases they even get pointy ears). We can see this happen with people like Terra and Braig, who become a version or part of Xehanort. The yellow eyes means that Xehanort is 1.) a part of somebodies heart (like Braig) or 2.) has taken control of the whole body of his new vessel (like Terra). So if KHfans sees yellow eyes with someone, they think that this person is maybe a vessel of Xehanort. But what if the whole yellow eye thing is not originally a Xehanort thing. My thought is that Luxu is the one with natural yellow eyes and his heart is a part of Xehanort’s body. Which means that Xehanort is a vessel of Luxu. Just look at the image of the E3 2015 young Xehanort again. It seems that Xehanort’s eyes were originally brownlike. If Luxu’s eyes are indeed yellow and his heart (or a piece of it) resides with Xehanort’s body, then it could explain the yellow glow in his eyes. Little by little is Luxu’s heart infiltrating Xehanort’s body/heart until Xehanort is a full vessel. But what about the time we see young Xehanort in dream drop distance? This young Xehanort has already yellow eyes, so what’s up with that? I think this has something to do with the time travel aspect we’ve been introduced by in the KH 3ds game. The young version of Xehanort (the version before he disappeared from Destiny Islands to see the outside worlds) had an encounter with Ansem the Seeker of Darkness. Ansem told this version of Xehanort his future and his role during the dream drop distance period. This version of Xehanort has not yet wield the Keyblade of used some (dark)powers (I assume). So I think, in order to fulfill his role in dream drop distance, Ansem gave a piece of his heart to this version of Xehanort. I think it is because of this that young Xehanort could use the power that he uses during the dream drop distance events. Remember, Ansem is in his robeform during his conversation with the young Xehanort, which means that he was nothing else but a heart. And we saw in KH1 that he can give his heart to another person, like when he did this with Riku. The young Xehanort truly accept the piece of hart in his body and thus the yellow eyes appear (because Ansem’s heart is has a bit of Luxu’s heart in it if this theory is right). But after the events of dream drop distance young Xehanort goes back to his own time at Destiny Islands and loses his yellow eyes. Why? Because of the rules of time travel. In a conversation with Sora in the 3ds game, young Xehanort reveals that time travel has his own rules. If your time of time traveling is up, you return to your own time and you will not remember what happened during your travelling. A second rule is that things that are destined to happen will happen. So when young Xehanort returns to his timeline, he went back to Destiny Islands and did forget about his adventure of the 3ds game. He also loses his yellow eyes because his powers he used in the 3ds game are gone (not entirely gone because it will be connected with him deep down in his heart). This is because Xehanort’s destiny. His destiny is to travel to outside worlds, to become a Keyblademaster and…. to be used as a vessel for Luxu. That’s the moment he is destined to get the yellow eyes. When young Xehanort leaves Destiny Islands and is going to train with a young Eraqus, their training will be given by their Keyblademaster. And that Keyblademaster will be Luxu. Not the Luxu we know of the KHX game though. No, I think that the master of Xehanort and Eraqus is a vessel for Luxu’s heart. I think that Luxu has trained many Keybladewielders and used some of his pupils to transfer his heart to. That way he can never die of old age. Finally he chose Xehanort to transfer his heart (or a part of it) to. That would explain the way the eyes of Xehanort look in the E3 trailer. We have never seen Luxu face, so it is possible that his eyes are yellow. Why would Luxu wants to keep transferring his heart into a new and younger vessel you say? I think the reason for that is because of what the Master of Masters told Luxu in KHX Backcover. The Master of Masters told Luxu that Luxu’s assignment includes passing the Keyblade “No Name” to a pupil that Luxu is going to train. So then the pupil will later on pass on “No Name” to his future pupil, and this pupil to his and then the next etc. etc.. That way the Master of Masters can look into the future while he is in the time of the past (age of Fairytales). Another assignment of Luxu from the Master of Masters is that Luxu must hide a mysterious box. Luxu himself may never open the box. So Luxu got curious and ask the Master of Masters what’s in the box. We fans don’t know what’s in the box, but Luxu does. After the master whispers in Luxu’s ear what’s in the box, Luxu freaks out and ask “Why?” The Master of Masters simply answers with, “You’ll see” or in Japanese “Surprise”. I think that Luxu was very unsatisfied with the answer he was given. He really wanted to know “Why”. But even so, Luxu follows his masters orders as we can see in KHX, or does he… What if Luxu was so curious about the box that he needed to know what will happen with the box when the new Keybladewar (the one that probably will happen in KH3) breaks out. The Master of Masters told him “You’ll see” but he knew that he probably would die before the box will be used. To cheat death Luxu uses his pupils to transfer his heart into a younger body, so he can live on. This action would also be fitting with his name. Luxu’s name is a short version from the word “Luxuria” which is a Latin word. Luxuria refers to one of the 7 deadly sins (like with the names of the Foretellers). Luxuria means “lust” in English. As you guys may already know, “lust” means a passionate need to fulfill certain needs. In Luxu’s case, the need to know what the box will do during the new Keybladewar. This need is so big that he would cheat death to find the answer. But after a while of transferring his heart in other bodies Luxu noticed that there is no Keybladewar in the making. So when he transfers his heart into Xehanort’s body, he is done with waiting and will take actions. The needs to know are too big for Luxu and is planning to begin the new Keybladewar himself in the name of Xehanort. And here starts the plan of Xehanort (but actually Luxu) to create 13 Seekers of Darkness. It could explain why Xehanort wants to start a Keybladewar in the previous games. His motives were mostly about curiosity of what will happen when the Keybladewar takes place. And he also has a urgent need to discover this. So if this theory is true both Luxu and Xehanort have big needs that they want to fulfill. Probably because Xehanort’s needs are actually Luxu’s needs and Luxu’s heart is in Xehanort’s body. If you don’t believe this theory, maybe some proof will help… Proof 1: We have never seen the face (at least the eyes) of the young Xehanort in his normal clothing on Destiny Islands. We only see his back. If he turns to the screen he change into other versions of Xehanort of even in versions of Riku. Why are we not aloud to see his face? Is it because his eyes are brown and not yellow? Proof 2: Luxu and Xehanort share a connection. They both wield the same Keyblade (“No Name”). If you rewatch the KH3 E3 trailer of 2015 with this theory in mind, you will (I hope, haha) notice that the things Xehanort said have a deeper meaning then we all think. For example: at the end of the trailer, when Xehanort looks up to the “No Name” Keyblade he is saying “The future has already been written”. Normally at lot of people think Xehanort is looking at the Keyblade at this moment because he knows that the “No Name” Keyblade is an ancient Keyblade from the age of Fairytales. But if Xehanort is actually Luxu, then it gets a different meaning. While saying “The future has already been written” and looking at the same time at the Keyblade, it could also be because Luxu knows that the gazing eye of this Keyblade is the reason that the future has already been written. And then the last sentence of the young Xehanort…. this honestly freaks me out while watching this with this theory’s glasses. When the young Eraqus response to the young Xehanort with “You’ll might be surprised”, then the last sentence of young Xehanort gets a whole other feeling for us. Xehanort reacts to it with “Oh, I hope so”. And while saying that, we see his full face with the strange brownlike with yellow glowing eyes. With this theory, the “Oh, I hope so” and the shot of his eyes could be referring to the whole “wanting to know what the box will do during the new Keybladewar”. Xehanort who is actually Luxu hopes to be surprised and his reaction is not only a reaction to Eraqus but also to what the Master of Masters told Luxu (You know… the “You’ll see” or even in Japanese “Surprise”). If this theory is going to be right then it could also answers another unanswered question we have had during the KHseries. With this I mean the unanswered question of who the traitor is in KHX. With this theory the answer is an easy one to give. The traitor would be Luxu. Luxu gets his assignment from the Master of Masters to never open the mysterious box. After waiting for a long time in hopes to see what will happen if the box will be opened during the Keybladewar but it isn’t happening, Luxu is making his own plans as Xehanort to get his needs fulfill. With these actions he is betraying the Master of Masters assignment and thus the Master of Masters will. After seeing a Nightmare Chirithy during the events of KHX, the Foretellers think that the traitor is someone in their group in their timelime. But it was never really clear when the traitor would do a treasonous act. It was never been stated that the traitor would do a treasonous act in the age of Fairytales. It could also take place in a future time… like the current timeline of the KHseries. If Luxu is the real traitor, then the description of the traitor would make more sense too. “The one who bears the sigil” is the line that describes the traitor. “The Sigil” could be referring to the “Recusant’s Sigil” as was explained in dream drop distance. The “Recusant’s Sigil” has the looks of a “X”. And which of the KHX characters has a “X” in their name? Luxu of course. But can a “X” in a name be counted as a “Recusant’s Sigil”? I think we may assume it. Xemnas uses “X” sigils all the time as a kind of trademark of Organization 13 names. The Master of Masters never wrote down in the Book of Prophecy when the traitor would do his treasonous acts, so I think it is possible that the whole traitor thing is referring to the time when Luxu is doing his plan as Xehanort. The Master of Masters could have seen these treasonous acts through the gazing eye on the “No Name” Keyblade, because Luxu still has that Keyblade. The reason why the Master of Masters is vague about the whole traitor thing is because he need the things to happen the way they are happing in the games to fulfill his own plans (whatever that may be…). So guy, what do you think? Do you think Luxu is the actually great bad instead of Xehanort? Is Xehanort a vessel of Luxu? Is Luxu the real traitor? And do you think (if this theory would be right) that the Master of Masters did know this all along and this is all part of his great plan? I see a big possibility for this theory to be an actually thing in the games. But please, tell me what you think of this. Let the discussion start.
  7. So, I was re-watching the latest 2.8 trailer, and one thing caught my attention most out of the entire video: Luxu's voice. As soon as I heard it, I immediately knew I had heard it before, but it took me a few moments to figure it out. Now, it could always be just a huge coincidence, but my mind went to Young Eraqus in the KH3 E3 2015 trailer. So, I searched up the trailer and watched it, listening carefully. I replayed both clips from 2.8 and III and have come to the decision that the voices sound identical. So, as I said, it could all be just a coincidence, but here me out on what I have started to piece together. So, when I came to the conclusion that the two voices were the same, I started to think about the conversation Eraqus and Xehanort have while they play chess: Xehanort: "Have you heard of the ancient Keyblade War?" Eraqus: "Yeah, the MASTERS favorite story." (Now, he could be talking about his current master, but I feel like there was a deeper meaning behind him saying that). Xehanort: "So...you KNOW the Lost Masters? They're the one's who started the Keyblade War." (It almost seems like Xehanort is trying to get Eraqus to slip up and admit a potential truth. Assuming my theory would be correct). Eraqus: "Never heard of 'em." (It sounds like Eraqus is trying to play it off here, but you can tell right away that he is lying). Xehanort: "You can drop the FACADE." (It's clear that Xehanort knows something through this statement). Now, of course, Eraqus and Xehanort could have learned about the Keyblade War and the Lost Masters through there master and through ancient texts and such, but I have to wonder: Was Eraqus actually there? The voice similarity aside, it makes sense to me how he could be Luxu for this reason: Eraqus was always very adamant about making sure that darkness was completely obliterated. Now, what could have made him feel so strongly about darkness and what it does to people's hearts? Could he have seen something drastic happen in his past? Could he have witnessed the Keyblade War and what darkness did to the hearts of the people of Daybreak Town? He says at the end of the KHIII trailer (to Xehanort): "Who's to say I can't change it? And maybe light will prevail. There is more to light than meets the eye. You might be surprised." Now, why would he say something like that? How would he know so much about light? Could he have seen Kingdom Hearts emerging at the Keyblade Graveyard? Could it have been a moment like when Sora experiences the light of Kingdom Hearts at the end of the first game? And to add on top of that, Luxu (despite not becoming a foreteller), is probably a Keyblade Master. He has been seen with the Keyblade that Xehanort will one day possess. How did it get to where Eraqus and Xehanort are? Could it have been their masters? Or did Eraqus bring it into the future with him after he inherited it from his true Master? Luxu said that his job was to watch the events of the war unfold and then traverse into the future. So, could he have acquired a new identity and taken up a new apprenticeship in that future? Anyhow, i'm still brewing over my thoughts and ideas, so this is in no way a complete theory, but I thought I would toss it out there anyway. What are your guys' thoughts about this possibility? Edit: Another thing I have noticed is that the zipper on Luxu's coat has the same symbol that is seen on Eraqus's armor (As well as Aqua/Terra/Ven's).
  8. I have started work on my "Road to 2.8" November piece. Decided that this one was going to be themed around Back Cover. I was super excited about drawing the foretellers as I love their character designs. This is just a work in progress sketch for now. Just wanted to give you guys a little sneak peek! Let me know what you all think!
  9. Ventus could be a Dandelion Ventus could be the canon version of the player You know what I say to these now with the new trailer... Maybe not... I listened to Luxu's Voice and honestly I kept getting Jesse Vibes from it that or someone trying to sound like Jesse or Jesse trying to not sound too much like Roxas or Ventus. With this in mind and honestly how things seem to be playing out. 1.What if the reason Xehanort picked Ventus was because...Ventus was Luxu. 2.Luxu most likely went into The Realm of Sleep after or directly before the Keyblade War and was awoken by Xehanort with no memory of who he was. I primarily say this because while I know this is sorta meh thing. 1.The First signs of Xehanort and even his spreading are found in Ventus V.I.A. Vanitas (Braig came after I imagine) 2.Both Xehanort/Luxu/The Master of Masters Keyblade and Ventus's Keyblade share a trademark color of black 3.Because it's a Theory that might as well be discussed and is quite possible 4.Luxu seems to oddly enough care a lot about the Foretellers and seems frustrated with the events perhaps we've misjudged who he really is? Maybe his goals were different we won't know until we get the chance to watch Backcover. 5.And because of Hype. What are your ideas on this do you still think Ventus is a Dandelion or is he possibly Luxu himself.
  10. Last night I reviewed the Kingdom Hearts III E3 2015 trailer (because I was bored) and found something very interesting about the chess pieces. You know how Eraqus' pieces represent the Guardians of Light and Xehanort's pieces represent the Seekers of Darkness? Yeah, and each piece represents a character in the series. So I studied these two: (Credit to Soraalam1) So obviously because of the goat shape one of the pieces is Xehanort. But the other one... is Luxu. Think about it. Luxu was the original owner of Xehanort's keyblade. It would only make sense. Let me know what you guys think about this in the chat! I'd love to hear opinions on this, if it hasn't been covered yet
