  1. Just another week until we stop playing games just to see more games being announced. …Love it!
  2. Development on a new Nintendo Switch game has been teased by Takashi Tokita, the director of the legendary RPG Chrono Trigger and various other Square games. He posted a picture of a Switch on Twitter with the text "Top secret mission starts!" as a caption. He's also worked on games such as I Am Setsuna and the GameBoy Advance remakes of Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI. Source
  3. Greetings and salutations, fellow dwellers of the 'Net and math enthusiasts alike. Long ago I made a thread regarding Square Enix Variables (the link is http://kh13.com/forum/topic/95774-math-using-square-enix-variables/ ) which dealt with simultaneous equations involving our favourite (well, sort of (well, it mostly depends on which generation you are in)) Square Enix characters and the ultimate answer to what Square Enix equates mathematically. Yes, I know, it sounds grisly and horrifying, but the only cure for the evil of algebra problems is figuring out said algebra problems out and giving them a good, solid boot to the head. Henceforth, I bequeath to you a new set of equations! I hope you will enjoy the challenge, and give the math a headache rather than it give you one. To the first person who solves this I will give the world's largest Internet cookie (I hope that catches your eye, Cookiesaki) and toss in a billion Internets on the side. ======================= Bartz + 2 * Tidus = 0 Bartz2 + Tidus3 = 5 Bartz / Tidus = Ventus 100 * Tidus - 5 * Lightning = 55 Dalton = 5 - Bartz - Ventus 4 * Ventus + 12 + Bartz2 = 8 Enix = Bartz + Tidus + Dalton + Lightning + Ventus Enix2 = ? Find Barts, Tidus, Lightning, Dalton, Enix, Ventus, and Enix2. Hint 1: All characters are whole numbers, or integers (for example, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, et cetera) Hint 2: Try to combine "Bartz + 2 * Tidus = 0" and "Bartz / Tidus = Ventus" to find Ventus. Hint 3: The cubic root of a negative number is negative, and the cubic root of a positive number is positive. If all else fails, I will give you a listing regarding answers in small text and spoilers. No cheating unless you are stuck, comrades.
  4. Throughout the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 eras, Square had a fairly consistent structure called the Product Development Division System. The head of divisions would leave at times, but despite this and even when they merged with Enix the structure stayed mostly the same. I've detailed below the structure throughout the PlayStation & PlayStation 2 eras. Public details on the structure with the PlayStation 3 era is pretty bare with the introduction of the 1st Production Department in 2007 and some divisions folding and the emergence of mobile but I've done my best to detail them until the end of 2009 as well. For the current structure including projects from 2010 onwards, please see here. 5. Eraqus is supposed to be Square backwards, like Yen Sid is Disney. However, don't let it fool you. Although Eraqus backwards is Suqare, it was intentionally Square. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
  6. Now as we've all probably guessed, KH3 Info and such will most likely be displayed at D23, with a small possibility of an E3 appearance as well along with Unchained Key. We're all praying to whatever gods we know of for the latter to happen as well as D23. However, a thought just occurred to me after watching the video by TheGamersJoint (Don't mind the Thumbnail. ) below....what if Square screws us over? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk2sg8p40_E As we all know, during the 2.5 Launch Event, the attendees were shown a KH3 Trailer behind closed doors which showed many things off that to this day we have not seen or even know about aside from some descriptions given by people who saw it and a drawing. Also, in D23 2013, the KH3 Trailer we've all seen wasn't shown immediately after D23. It was shown at least a few days or weeks afterwards and gained public attention a while after that. So, what's to stop Square from holding their cards close to their chest this time? Hell, at D23, they could do it again and perhaps just...not show it to any of us. The game itself, last we heard. was in a Pre-Alpha Stage. There's not much to go on from there, especially since we've been given absolutely ZERO information that would suggest otherwise, such as a release date/window, actual gameplay footage, screenshots, Artwork etc. This kind of thing would push it into Alpha at most. But nope, closed door viewing. I'm not saying however that it absolutely will happen, I'm just saying that it is a viable possibility. Do you agree or disagree? Discuss below. Thank you for reading.
  7. I'm kinda torn with my opinion, I think it's unlikely, like most, but at the same time I wouldn't put it past the realm of possibility. Square put heaps of DLC outfits in FFXIII-2 and LR. Plus, all these outfits in chi, It's meant to be you're own character so it could mean nothing, and that's what I thought, but the addition of bravely default outfits got me thinking. Maybe we will have some customisation in KH3? Maybe crossover outfits like chi and FF? The whole idea is fanservice, to make your favorite wear an outfit/armour set you like the most. I think this is great, because if someone doesn't like the default stuff, they can just change it. I see no problem with this, in western RPGs it's very normal to change the armor/clothing of your character, in ''Dragon Age'' you can change your party's armour/clothes as well. So why is it, that when the idea of having it done in a JRPG like KH is brought up, people are against the idea? In any case, how possible do think it is that we will see this in KH3?
