Man, it's been too long since I posted an Rp... This is a 1x1 Rp, so only me and Star may post here. That being said, I'm not going to stop you guys from reading, so enjoy. (Not that I could stop anyone from reading anyway ) Plot Before humanity came to be, there was a war. It was a war so great that it almost destroyed the universe. A war between the heavens and the dwellers of the underworld. The war ended swiftly and abruptly when a third party began to intervene. This third party was made up of beings known as the Nephilim. The Nephilim were incredible beings, capable of devouring the souls of the dammed as well as those who lived in the heavens above, all in order to gain further power. These creatures were the offspring of Angel’s who had mated with demons, something that sounded disturbing to both sides. Recognising that the balance has been broken, both heaven and hell formed a temporary and unbelievable truce to defeat the Nephilim. Slowly but surely, the Nephilim were exterminated from the universe. Now, having reached the end of their conditions, both forces were preparing to wage war once again, but their respectful leaders halted there advances after still feeling the presence of one remaining Nephilim that had gone unaccounted for. From that day on, Lucifer himself was charged with finding and eliminating this remaining Nephilim and until then, the war between heaven and hell would remain at a standstill. Now, with the human race becoming the intelligent and adaptive species that it is today, we have all become very comfortable with our lives. Too comfortable. For whenever you think you see something out of the corner of your eye, or you think you see something that’s not really there, it makes you wonder. Are we really alone on this planet? Unbeknownst to 99% of humanity, demons walk the Earth in human form, still searching for the final Nephilim from the days of old. Slowly, the demons have taken over this world’s freedom, all in search of a remnant of a forgotten past. And the only things that are capable of fighting back against the demonic spawn are the Witches. The Witches are the rare 1% of the female population that are not only capable of seeing the demons true selves as they roam the Earth, but are also the only ones who are capable of fighting back against them using the elemental attributes that is granted to them by the heavens. There are some rare instances where males are capable of seeing the demons, but none of them can use magic. Therefore, these individuals become Hunters, trained in using holy weapons and relics in order to support the Witches. However, no matter how strong a Witch or Hunter might become, they do not have the power to permanently erase a demon. Therefore, demons are only sent back to hell where they must recover their strength before eventually returning to Earth. The Witches and Hunters fight a losing battle, but still hold hope for the prophesy that was brought before them. The prophecy foretold of a young man who would become the first and strongest male mage in the world, capable of destroying the demons from hell once and for all. But, this prophesy remains unfinished, with its ending left in mystery. Now, in a time where the one the prophecy spoke of is needed more than ever, the young Witches and Hunters attend an academy in order to train them into humanities hope, and it is here where everything will begin. Believing that he is a human, Koyomi is bored with the human race and seeks some way to satisfy the urge to make his life more interesting. Bio: Akane is the adopted older sister of Koyomi. Ever since she was young, she has trained to become a Witch and follow in the foot steps of her mother. Graduating "The Academy" at the age of 15, Akane was regarded as a highly exceptional Witch, equaling those who were double her age in both skill and knowledge. Now at the age of 22, she fights against Demons almost every day in order to push back the forces of hell while keeping the whole ordeal a secret from Koyomi. Recognising his genius, Akane views Koyomi with great respect, but wishes for him to do something with his life instead of wasting it in the house. She, like every other Witch and Hunter, fights the demons and waits for the arrival of the legendary mage.
