  1. I want to create a discussion on which Disney Worlds we may expect to see in the Realm of thhe "Unreality" for the next Kingdom Hearts game after Melody of Memory. As of the Game, Melody of Memory Ansem the Wise mentioned that there are three realms in their realm that they can travel to where many of the KH worlds are explored throughout the series: The Realm of Light (where the majority of the Disney worlds and original worlds like Destiny Islands and Radiant Garden reside) The Realm of Darkness (Where the Realm of Darkness and where worlds that were destroyed by the Heartless end up in) The Realms Between (Where Twilight Town, Traverse Town, Land of Departure/Castle Oblivion and The Mysterious Tower reside) He also mentions the worlds of: Memories Dreams/The Realm of Sleep (Where many of the Disney Worlds that didn't return to the Realm of Light following Ansem Seeker of Darkness' defeat from Sora in the first game appear and also the Final World) Data/Datascapes (Consists of Data worlds from Jiminy Journal or the Book of Prophecies, The Tron worlds (Space Paranoids and the Grid) and Game Central Station (Wreck-It Ralph from Union χ) The Other Side/"Unreality" (The City of Quadratum) - The realm outside of their own reality The world of Game Central Station is one of the obvious Disney worlds to appear in the world of Quadratum (Unreality) likely retelling the events of Ralph Breaks the Internet given that the first film was already covered in Union χ. As of now, were not exactly sure what's going to be the main setting for world exploration in the next KH game it could be the "Unreality" (that Riku is going in), the Realm of Sleep from Dream Drop Distance or the Realm of Light (as Kairi is doing her Mark of Mastery training with Aqua). Other than Wreck-It Ralph, I also could see The Pixar worlds of Coco and Soul along with possibly Treasure Planet, Atlantis: The Lost Empire and the worlds based on the live-action remakes/reimaginings (e.g. Alice in Wonderland 2010, Maleficent, Mulan 2019, etc.) being possible Disney worlds found in "Unreality" for the next game, it just comes down to how Nomura and his team decide on which Disney and Pixar films they would choose as worlds for the next game, the environment the world can offer and how the world based on the film fits in the game in terms of story and themes cause they like to cherry pick certain Disney worlds. But what do you guys think?
  2. I want to address a couple of things regarding the Wreck-It Ralph world in Union χ real quick: So the Wreck-It Ralph world (Game Central Station, Niceland, Cy-Bug Sector, Sugar Rush) when it was introduced in April 2019 according to Brain, isn't a data world projection from the past or future from the Book of Prophecies nor is it a world linked to the distant future, as the story events of the world are currently happening right now in the current timeline of Union χ, but why this past? Now if the Emblem Heartless didn't existed during the time of χ/Union χ and are merely projections from the Book of Prophecies in the various data Disney worlds, how come they appeared in the Wreck-it Ralph world if that world itself didn't came directly from the Book of Prophecies? Following the world's conclusion Union χ sometime soon in 2021, what's going to become of the world in the next KH game(s) coming up and whether or not they are going to retell the events of the film again in a future game, an original storyline or just jump to Ralph Breaks the Internet instead? One possibility they could do is: The idea is far-fetched, and I highly doubt it's ever going to happen when compared to Space Paranoids/The Grid, but it's something that is worth considering Sora never encountered Ralph aside from having him as a Link summon in KH3. Am I the only one who thinks that Wreck-It Ralph should've been used in Kingdom Hearts III instead of Union χ? I mean I actually longed for the film to appear since the film came out when KH3 entered development, plus I always considered that world and film as a successor to the Tron worlds from past KH games and would've worked well as a sub-world within Twilight Town at the Old Mansion, and I feel that Dark Riku would've worked better as the antagonist for Wreck-It Ralph than Big Hero 6 especially his mentioning of "Heart out of Data" which I'm going to be honest I don't even recall the original Big Hero 6 movie talk about "Data" when compared to the Tron films (original and Legacy) and Wreck-It Ralph which seems to have more mentioning of Data than Big Hero 6. It wouldn't surprise me if Wreck-it Ralph was actually one of the worlds Nomura and his team has chosen during the development of KH3 but was scrapped very late in production when they heard that Disney was doing a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph (Ralph Breaks the Internet), which is why he ended up as a link summon in the final game, and why Wreck-It Ralph became the Union χ world.
  3. I know the discussion is through the main chat of Melody of Memory and this thread is predictable, but I want to create this thread on the worlds that will appear in the game, Melody of Memory. From what we know the game will have 47 worlds (31 Disney worlds and 16 original worlds) Confirmed: Disney: Wonderland Agrabah Olympus Coliseum Monstro Atlantica Halloween Town Neverland The Land of Dragons Beast's Castle Pride Lands Enchanted Dominion Disney Town Deep Space Country of the Musketeers Toy Box Arendelle Original Worlds: Destiny Islands Traverse Town Hollow Bastion End of the World Radiant Garden Keyblade Graveyard Castle Oblivion Twilight Town Mysterious Tower The World that Never Was Dive to the Heart Realm of Darkness/Dark World (0.2 BBS Destiny Islands section so far) Land of Departure The Final World So far 30 worlds confirmed and 17 remain so here are my likely obvious expectations for the remaining worlds:
  4. I'll start 1. Toy Story 2. Hercules 3. Monster's Inc 4. Big Hero Six 5. Winnie the Pooh (yes and I'll explain) 6. Tangled 7. Frozen 8. Pirates of the Caribbean (an unpopular opinion but again I'll explain) Looking at my list I think I'm looking forward to the worlds that have original stories to them then one's that follow their respective movies and ones from my childhood cause I'm biased. Of course, these are just the ones I am looking forward to the most, the ones I end up liking the most might be completely different. I was thinking of adding original worlds but I might wait till later to add those since 1. We have not seen much of them and 2. there's no (offical) list so here are some explanations: Toy Story I look forward to the most cause it was a long time coming to include into the franchise, it's part of my childhood, and it has an original story. We have probably seen the most of this world due to demos and it looks really fun and I can't wait to see what crazy KH related story they have planned for it. And the dev team seem really excited for their Pixar titles. Hercules is a weird one to include so high on my list, since it's the most used Disney world and, like others, want to see new worlds, but it's used a lot for a reason. It's the only one of two tradionally animated movies to have a world in KH3 sadly and it's again part of my childhood. I don't know exactly what the story is gonna be like but it seems to be original. Monster's Inc's not one of my favorite Pixar movies, but I still have heavy nostalgia for it. Again, it has an original story for it, Vanitas will be there, it's one of the few Disney world's that will probably have a somewhat interesting Disney villian boss fight. It just looks really fun to me. Big Hero Six we have sadly not seen much of this world, but we knew about it for a long time. Again it has an original story and dark Baymax sounds amazing. The world's design is one of the best. Plus either Repliku or Data Riku will be there, which will probably cause some drama. Winnie the Pooh I.... don't particularly have an exact reason for it being higher then some of the others, but I think some of the main reasons is because 1. another 2d film and I really like the look of it (nobody listen to the people who say the 2d films would not look as good). And I just have a soft spot for Pooh . But I do wish that since they included this they should of had another Disney world to make it 9. Tangled is not one of my favorite Disney movies. I don't necessarily hate it by any means but whenever I think about the most recent Disney films I always forget about it cause I find it really underwelming. And I really don't understand why some fans find it underrated but I'm not hear to talk about that. Let's just say I have some feelings. But at the same time the world looks absolutely gorgious and Marluxia is there and it fits perfectly with him. Even though I don't particularly understand why he is an organization member. And I enjoy Gothel. Frozen was extremely obvious and again I have a lukeworm reaction of the movie. Though I'm not gonna go into detail here cause it's been overly loved and overly hated for the past like five years so now I just have a "it's OK" reaction to it. It was sadly kinda ruined for KH3 even before it was announced. Basically I have the same feelings about it as I do for Tangled. But the big downside to this is not fighting with any character other than sometimes Marshmellow. Like I understand for story purposes but come on. One of the big plus sides is Larxine. Even though again I don't understand why she is in the organization. The world still looks gorgious though. POTC I'm sorry, even though the graphics look stunning for this world, it still has an uncanniness that every live action property has in this franchise. It does indeed look better here than in KH2, but seeing an anime boy with a cartoon duck and dog thing is super weird to see with a live action person. Like I understand some people's appeal for it but I dunno I find it kinda....cringy? Plus, I have not seen the third pirates since I did not like the second pirates so I just kind of stopped watching them. Maybe I would like it, maybe I would not but ehh been kinda over pirates for awhile. Davy Jones might be a fun boss though. Again, these are just the ones that I think I will like the most. My actual favorites might be completly different. I probably over explained myself, expecally with the ones I'm least looking forward to, but it was fun. What are the ones you guys are most looking forward too?
  5. Good morning, afternoon and evening everyone! How are you doing today? We have seen many awesome revelations these latest months regarding Kingdom Hearts III trailers + news and man aren't they all just lovely and exciting! And what is more exciting that we are getting closer to KHIII on every single day! Which is why I am putting my hopes for one of the "uncommon worlds" that many people think that they shouldn't return in Kingdom Hearts III. It is nothing other than the awesome desert-themed world, Agrabah: "Agrabah! Again?!" Yes my dear friends Agrabah one more time for many reasons: Even though it has been repeatedly appearing in most of KH games, the world comes on different redesigned locations with different puzzles, especially within the Cave of Wonders, and to be honest, I enjoyed every version of it: > KHI brought the platforming designs of the city with the Cave of Wonders having the waterway puzzle which was really interesting to solve. > KHII brought a more opened designs of the city while making the Cave of Wonders more action ish with less puzzles compared to other versions, but more interestingly, it added the city ruins that added a whole new level of action to this world. Flying with the carpet and avoiding the sandstorms, tracing Jafar's clone and fighting different Heartless was so much fun to experience. > KH 358/2 Days returned with more platforms within the new entrance of the Cave of Wonders through the city, and it added an enjoyable boss fight against Pete, after spying over him within the city > KH Coded brought more action, puzzles and some run and gun elements that made the Cave of Wonders to look fresh and interesting to explore and to be honest, even though we have experienced the city of Agrabah, Cave of Wonders, and the Sand Ruins, we are yet to experience the Sultan's palace and we haven't even seen the Sultan himself even though he was referred to back in Kingdom Hearts II. Additionally, we are yet to see the beloved tiger of Jasmine's, Rajah within the palace and also we are yet to see Aladdin himself wearing the prince outfit. Adding to that, even though we have traveled through the desert to see the Sand Ruins and the Cave of Wonders, we haven't TRULY explored the deserts of Agrabah itself. If we were to experience the events of King of Thieves, it would give us the advantage of experiencing and exploring more within the deep desert and the hideout of the thieves while also exploring the Sultan's Palace as new locations instead of having the Cave of Wonders once again. Speaking of the hideout, the movie included a place called the Challenge Arena, in which Aladdin fought one of the strongest thieves and it would be interesting to fight in such arena and get more tournaments by the thieves similar to the routine of getting tournaments from Olympus Coliseum but only this time it would be different and freshly interesting. The thieves can add different type of challenges along with adding Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed to the list. I honestly see much more potentials within the world of Agrabah that are yet to be used, and being able to explore the desert while freely controlling the Carpet similar to Baymax from Big Hero 6, it would give us much more places and locations to view and see. Besides, Kingdom Hearts III is yet to have a desert-themed Disney world so far and adding Agrabah one more time for the events of the third movie similar to how the first two movies were for KHI and KHII would be logical and would add more variety to the list of worlds of KHIII. Some would find Keyblade Graveyard to be a replacement, but to be honest, I find Keyblade Graveyard to be more of a dry ish ground with mountain-themed locations rather than being a sandy desert-themed world and I don't personally see it as a replacement whatsoever. So in summary, the strongest potentials that we could freshly have in Agrabah for Kingdom Hearts III are: - Exploring the Sultan's Palace (Having Sultan and Rajah as new characters) (giving more puzzles and platforms within the palace) - Freely controlling the Carpet and exploring the deep desert - Exploring the hideout of thieves - Fighting the thieves as enemies and having Agrabah guards as NPC/ guest allies - Having more party members with Genie, Abu and Iago joining the list along with Aladdin - Enjoying more NPCs within the city of Agrabah and making it more lively than ever before - Getting routinely tournaments from the Challenge Arena within the thieves hideout - Getting side missions from the citizens of Agrabah - Seeing all of the above with the Unreal Engine 4/ Kingdom Shader, who wouldn't wanna see that XD So I hope I am not the only one seeing such potentials of this awesome world. Sorry for taking that long, but I just wanted to be one of the few voices that are still demanding for Agrabah at least one final time. What do you guys think? Sultan's Palace Thieves Hideout Challenge Arena
  6. Is the toy story world the only world in which Sora's appearance in it is canon? If not then is it the same with Big Hero 6 because we all know it's going to be a sequel of the movie?
  7. Announced Hercules(returning)Tangled(Flower World) Big Hero 6(Superhero world) Toy Story(Play Time world) Predicted Snow World - Frozen Jungle World - Jungle Book Space World - Treasure Planet Underwater World - Atlantis Anthropomorfic World - Zootopia, not sure (or Robin Hood) Monster World - Monsters Inc
  8. http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/disney/images/9/97/Oz_Poster.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20121115193613 This is a magical live action world that is just asking itself to be in Kingdom Hearts 3. Emerald City alone would look so beautiful!
  9. After the introduction of Julius (who was from the Disney short: Runaway Brain before Pocahontas began), it made me wonder as to what Disney shorts, characters or even worlds could be introduced in Kingdom Hearts 3. To brush people's Disney history, here's the recent ones we have. The Ballad Of Nessie (2011 Winnie The Pooh Short) Tangled Ever After (Beauty And The Beast 3D Short) Paperman (Wreck-It Ralph Short) Get A Horse (C'mon, do I really need to say where this is from? ) Feast (Big Hero 6 Short) Frozen Fever (Cinderella Live Adaptation Short) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBXglWUfn7Q So, which Disney short do you see being incorporated into Kingdom Hearts 3? I personally see "Get A Horse" being a reason for Timeless River to return to the game. That short looks like the perfect Pete boss battle.
  10. For Riku and King Mickey's story, Would Riku and King Mickey go to Disney worlds (like Sora, Donald and Goofy), and then, look for previous Keyblade wielders (Terra, Ventus and Aqua)?
