Kingdom Hearts: Destiny Deoxys (Changes)
GarfieldBuilder posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - GeneralKingdom Hearts: Destiny Deoxys is undergoing a massive change. The world list now goes like this: Linblum: This world, based on Final Fantasy 9, is the hub world. The Keyblade Academy area of Linblum is exclusive to the game. Fox's Forest: The tutorial level based on The Fox and the Hound. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear from Inside Out are lost in this world. Riley's Mind: This world is based on Inside Out. Tiana and Naveen from The Princess and the Frog are lost in this world Royal Bayou: This world is based on The Princess and the Frog. Lilo and Stitch/Experiment 626 from Lilo & Stitch are lost in this world. Experiment's Paradise: This world is based on Lilo & Stitch. Empire of Llamas: This world is based on The Emperor's New Groove. Jack Skelington from The Nightmare Before Christmas came to this to invite them to a new world. Halloween Bastion: This world has a special "What-If" scenario in which Jack Skelington visited Radiant Garden after being fully aware of other worlds such as Dwarf Woodlands and Olympus Coliseum via a great phenomenon in which all people from different worlds become lost in each other's worlds when King Deoxys was born. Jack showed the citizens of Radiant Garden Halloween Town's version of Christmas, thus turning the castle of the world into Halloween Bastion. A piece of the ticket for the Keyblade Wielder's Library is located in the world. Mowgli from The Jungle Book is lost in this world, too. Jungle of Rhythm: This world is based on The Jungle Book. Alice from Alice in Wonderland is lost in this world. Wonderland: This world is based on Alice in Wonderland. Kingdom Hearts: Destiny Deoxys
GarfieldBuilder posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - GeneralKingdom Hearts: Destiny Deoxys is my idea of a fan game to be created in Unity. It has a card-based battle system introduced in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. The worlds include the returning worlds Olympus (based on Hercules), the Dark World, and Castle of Dreams (Cinderella). New worlds include Pachederm Circus (Dumbo), Halloween Bastion, which was Radiant Garden as it looked when Jack Skellington (visiting from Halloween Town) prepped the world after residents of other worlds discover other worlds besides their own, Metroville (The Incredibles), Casa Madrigal (Encanto), Gracey Manor (The Haunted Mansion), Cherry Tree Lane (Mary Poppins), Prydain (The Black Cauldron), Camelot (The Sword in the Stone), Atlantis (Atlantis: The Lost Empire) Sleepy Hollow (The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad), The Boiling Isles (The Owl House), Sherwood Forest (Robin Hood), Ant Island (A Bug's Life), Storybrook (Once Upon A Time), and Galaxy of Adventure (Treasure Planet). The main character is King Deoxys, Gosalyn, and Max Goof.
KH4 - Onward Prequel Idea
Hoshiko Hikari posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - GeneralSo I finally watched Onward for the first time the other day and (as I do with any new Disney film these days) immediately started wondering how it might fit into Kingdom Hearts. Feel free to disagree with me but I'm not sure having an Onward world follow the events of the film is the best way to go because either Sora, Donald and Goofy will get in the way of Ian and Barley's brotherly bonding time or they'll end up spending most of the time chasing after Ian and Barley from behind, possibly taking Mrs Lightfoot's place by teaming up with The Manticore, which could end up feeling like a rehash of their time in Arendelle culminating in a battle with the cursed dragon that will be a lot like the Darkubes boss battle from San Fransokyo. Whilst the above ideas could still work if executed well, I think it would be a lot more interesting and original if an Onward world was set before the events of the film as a prequel story. Kind of like how the San Fransokyo world works as a sequel to Big Hero 6 offering closure on the original Baymax. Here's my idea: When Ian meets someone who knew his father, they tell Ian that his father was a bold and confident person, but his mother says that his father wasn't always like that, however doesn't exactly say how he changed. We also know that his father came into possession of a wizard's staff but we never find out how he got it or how he learned to use it. Was it just a family heirloom or did he find it? These mysteries provide the perfect opportunity for Sora, Donald and Goofy to become part of the story. What if the trio landed in Onward's world when Mr Lightfoot was a self-conscious teenager and end up going on an adventure with him where he not only learns to believe in himself thanks to Sora's encouragement but also learns magic from Donald? Not only will this allow Sora and co. to play a meaningful part in a Disney story, rather than being third-wheels or replacing other characters, but it will also allow us to get to know Mr Lightfoot more which would then give more weight to the story of Onward itself. With Disney being a lot more involved in Kingdom Hearts now than they used to be, and with the San Fransokyo, Toy Box and Monstropolis worlds already featuring original stories designed to work as canon to the films they are based on, I think this could be a real possibility. Let me know what you think!
About 2 weeks ago I made a video about some Halloween/Spookier worlds that could potentially work in Kingdom Hearts. Not everyone is going to agree since I not only talk about animated films but also TV Shows and Live Action films. But please enjoy anyway! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USQLz1P8afQ&ab_channel=CacklingPumpkins
KH RP Interest Check/Idea
Autophobia posted a topic in Roleplayingso, i want to start a kh rp with someone/multiple people but it wouldn't exactly have a plot..we would just kind of wing it, i guess. it would take place during kh ii/358/2 days. would anyone be interested? i would more than likely be Roxas. hopefully you'll be able to put up with my angsty, angry blonde baby.
Back when I was still fairly new to the site, I used to do threads about world ideas that I personally thought would be a bad fit for Kingdom Hearts III and Kingdom Hearts in general. It was also around the time where I did this thing where I would basically abuse the font options and really dress up whatever I was saying, but I've grown out of that. But anyways, I was thinking about bringing that back (the threads, not the other thing) in order to comment on more recent ideas for worlds as well as some already confirmed for the game, but then I decided I should just clarify exactly what I believe and why I believe as it applies to new worlds in general just so that it's easier to understand my overall mentality when discussing this subject. So let me attempt to make this as simple as I can: the only real criteria I have for a new world is that it feels like a natural pick for the universe that is Kingdom Hearts. In turn, for that to happen, it has feel unnatural as well. Confused yet? I'll continue: A good idea for a world, in my opinion, is that is has to have a a fish-out-of-water scenario that correlates with the idea that Sora (or whoever the protagonist is really) is experiencing something that he would never experience on his home world, or any other world for that matter, and more importantly one that defies normal standards and presents the player with a sense of mysticism and fairy tale-esque spectacle, which can qualify for pretty much any world that's already been used in Kingdom Hearts because they all follow this standard. Every world is set in fantasy, and even if its based in the real world, it's counteracted with enough fantasy (such as a supernatural aid or by being set in a different time period with a unique culture) to make it work all the same. That's why I would be absolutely appalled if Zootopia or something similar to that would be used as a world because it misses the point entirely. There's no mysticism or spectacle in a property like that. Yeah, everybody's a talking animal but that idea in general isn't all that great on its own for one thing, and even then, it's still too close to real life. Anything too close to real life in general gets an automatic "NO" from me, but I'm sure I've made that obvious by this point. Now, I know what you're thinking: does that mean I'm against Big Hero 6 too? Well, no actually, I'm not. I do have my worries as it is still very close to real life and there could be ways of taking that too far in terms of how it's presented but as long as its done gracefully, I won't have a problem with it. Hopefully I've gotten the idea across because I really didn't want to write blocks of text when I can just try to make things easier to digest.
Ideas to make KH13 more "interesting"
Enix posted a topic in General DiscussionI have some ideas to make KH13 more "interesting" for users on here. Hopefully my ideas for this site come true. Here's the ideas. Ranks and Medals Depending on the number of posts, the users will have a certain rank. These ranks will change when a user number of posts increase. For example, a user who is a rank of a darkside(Who have posts number of 30) can increase into dream eater by having over 100 posts. There's also exclusive ranks that only belongs to moderators, news team, webmasters, and contest winners. It will probably look this on the forums. Also about the specials rank for contest winners, those ranks are temporary. They'll move to a different contest winner of the monthly event. Here's some ideas for these special and normal ranks: Creeper- No matter how many posts you have, this ranks is with you until moderators decided you learned your lesson. (Only obtained after getting 3 temporary bans) Shadow- The first rank you obtain on here. 0-30 posts. Flood- Second rank. 30-70 posts. Meow Wow- third rank. 70-100 posts. Special ranks: Moogle writer- Only obtained by being the fanfic writer of the month. The mods have to decide who made the best fanfic of the month You guys can think of rest of the ranks. Medals, you get for doing certain things. Like having over 200 posts or something like getting a like from a moderator. You guys can think up rest of the medals. So, what you guys think? Can this happen in the next update?
A Warner Bros. Kingdom Hearts?
GothicSlenderman posted a topic in Kingdom Hearts - GeneralWhat if there was a Kingdom Hearts game/story but instead of Final Fantasy and Disney it used ___ & Warner Bros. Something that wouldn't effect the original timeline (so it would have to use new characters) and a new story based on the idea of KH. Many people seem to argue that WB doesn't have as many memorable characters/series as Disney, but I think that's not true. It's like Saying Playstation and Xbox series aren't as recognizable as Nintendo characters. While they have been in the business longer and have a more popular face (Disney - Mickey Mouse/ Nintendo - Mario) Warner Bros. still has enough to fill an entire sagas worth of KH like stories. Warner Bros. has many famous series & characters like the Looney Toons, Animaniacs & Cats don't dance. BUT they also own HBO (Game of Thrones), Cartoon Network (Choose your poison - Ed, Edd n' Eddy, Adventure Time, Steven Universe), Hanna-Barbera (Scooby-Doo/Flinstones), Adult Swim (Aqua Teen Hunger Force), New Line Cinemas (Friday the 13th & Nightmare on Elm Street), WB Games (Mortal Kombat & Lollipop Chainsaw), DC Universe (Superman & Batman) and a few others as well! Let's not forget they have the film rights to other properties such as Harry Potter, Death Note and even Five Nights at Freddy's. Now as you could easily tell, WB has a split amount of family and adult content so in my idea I'd say this Warner Bros. Kingdom Hearts should be dark yet still appropriate for a younger audience. Like Rated T in gaming or PG-13 in film. Something in the middle so you can easily expect characters like Bugs bunny but also wouldn't mind seeing the likes of Freddy Krueger in the story. So what do you think? Do you think it could work?
Epic Batman/Metal Gear Rising Crossover
HeyMouseSayCheese posted a topic in Random & Forum GamesSeriously, could no one at DC Google the words "blade wolf" to see if anyone had used that idea already?
I did enjoy the Land Of Dragons in KH2 in fact that is the only game where we visited Mulan but how about to see The Land Of Dragons as a returning world in KH3. Give me your idea or plot to why you would want to see this world to reappear and would you like to see new areas and characters in the world. I don't know if I would want the world to focus on Mulan 2 however I don't have any problem if that the version it would get. Maybe they should go with an original story for a new visit in this world. My Idea Sora, Donald and Goofy lands in Mulan's village that was never shown in KH2 and there they run into Mushu who they share a happy reunion with. Sora asks Mushu if he's seen Mulan. Mushu responds that Mulan is in the emperor's palace. Sora, Donald and Goofy runs to the palace only to be stopped by Yao, Ling and Chien Po who doesn't recognize them at first until Sora reminds Yao about that he was the guy he punched a long time ago (a funny memory from KH2). They let Sora and the gang enter the palace where they find Mulan with the emperor. As They are about to speak with Mulan Shang comes from their back telling them that Mulan is busy on a very important mission by the emperor. As Mulan is about to leave she notices Sora and the gang and is happy to see them. Sora curiously asks what the important mission is. However Mulan says it's important it remains a secret and leaves the palace with Shang. Sora and the gang signs themselves up on the mission and goes after Mulan and Shang. As for the rest of this story Sora, Mulan, Shang, Donald, Goofy and Mushu sets out to the northern mountains where they are supposed to find an ancient diamond that holds the power to reveal the future. This is where Master Xehanort's evil plan comes in so he can steal the diamond and find out about the future and how he can change it. That's pretty much what I came up with as an original idea for The Land Of Dragons to return What's your idea
