  1. I was wondering why the cloud is required to play the kingdom hearts HD collections when they can easily be played on the base ps4 and Xbox one. So I was checking out the storage on the ps4 and they take up a lot of Gigabytes. KH 1.5 + 2.5 requires 61 GB KH 2.8 requires 30 GB KH3 requires 49 GB A total of 140 GB. I have a Switch. But without a microchip, I’m limited to at least 25 GB. Even if you were to get a microchip, you’d have to get the one that barely contains 1.5+2.5 or 3. So I thought of a solution, though it is not the best idea. How about porting the games as standalone. Have the games separate. Kingdom Hearts Final Mix for example can be purchased by itself from the eshop. The movies like 358, recoded, and back cover can be downloaded for free. I don’t know the solution for KH3, but I guess a graphics downgrade and a stable 30fps might do. What do you think? It can allow an audience from Australia to play the games without requiring constant internet, and everyone can keep the games permanently without ever losing them.
  2. The official Kingdom Hearts Twitter account has announced that the PC ports of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 and Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue have been patched with numerous fixes to reported issues. The team also stated that they will continue listening to feedback regarding the ports of these titles. The patch notes for Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5, as noted on Square Enix Japan's Support website, are listed below: Version 1.0.0.8 Patch Update Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when a video recording or streaming app (likely primarily referring to Stream Labs OBS) was used. Fixed a problem where the sound volume would revert back to the default settings when skipping events in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix. Fixed a bug in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix where if a character takes damage during a specific action in Hollow Bastion, the character would not be controlled unless if they were attacked again. Fixed a bug in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix where the volume of the sound effects would increase if a magic attack was performed multiple times in quick succession. Fixed a bug in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Final Mix where the game would crash if the controller was disconnected while playing the mini-game "Rumble Racing." The patch notes for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, as noted on Square Enix Japan Support's website, are listed below: Version 1.0.0.5 Patch Update Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when a video recording or streaming app (likely primarily referring to Stream Labs OBS) was used. Fixed a bug in Dream Drop Distance HD where the Nightmares in Chernabog's fight would not disappear as they should. Thanks to our team's Ryuji for translating these patch notes. If you missed it, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5's PC port received a patch earlier this Summer, making these patches the second, albeit firstly conjoined effort to make the PC ports as qualitative as possible. Are you thrilled by these updates, and if you have not purchased these ports yet, are these fixes encouraging you to do so? Let us know in the comments below!

  4. So with the release of the new screenshots and renders from famitsu, I decided to compare the renders of Mickey and Aqua to their Ps2 era models, to see how they look overall and to see a side by side comparison. Upon comparing them I have to say that my appreciation for the kingdom shader has gone up even more, due to the fact that they look like the character designs from the last generation but with major improvements of course and how the models actually look like they could've been from a Disney animated film. Anyways, seeing these new renders makes even more excited for the game's release in January.
  5. Since there's nothing else I can do except trying to mix audio (since my voice hasn't completely recovered yet to sing a song) Actually, this is my first time doing this, so maybe the result is not good enough. I try to collaborate Simple and Clean + Hikari -Ray of Hope Mix- (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 HD Final Chapter Prologue) into a music, here's the result. Hope you like it, KH13.com residence PS : For better listening experience, I recommend you to use Headphone / Earphone while listening to this. Update : I decline my decision about making the longer version, since last night I uploaded it at youtube, youtube gave me copyright strikes.
  6. So this video talks about some of the things I see that the three HD covers have in common and what I think they could have that will connect to Kingdom Hearts 3
  7. So...I've complained. I've complained A LOT, about the way KH3 looks since the E3 2015 trailer. Honestly, I could almost say I was let down by Square after seeing the way game looked on the Unreal engine 4 compared to the way it used to look on the Luminous Engine, BUT I'm more than happy to say that my complaints were absolutely pointless. Yep, the 0.2 footage from E3 convinced me that KH3 is going to look just as good as we all want it to look. How? Well let's see! EXHIBIT A: The environments They were never a problem, but it was great to see that the environments are still looking great. The textures, the details, the lighting, EVERYTHING is just perfect. But they looked just as good in the KH3 trailers so...Nothing to complain about here. EXHIBIT B: The particle effects...and other effects x) The magic, the effect it has on the environment it...it all looks so beautiful. Visually, it couldn't get any better. Once again, that's nothing new, it always looked great EXHIBIT C: The character models That was my main issue with KH3's look. The character models. In the very first trailer we were promised the characters would look a certain way and the latest trailers didn't live up to my expectations. They said Sora would look like this: Instead, he looked like that: And then we had terrible character models for Mickey, Riku, Kairi and Yen Sid. They all looked like Barbie dolls. The latest footage for 2.8 has shown immense improvement in the character models. As you can see in this screenshot featuring Ephemera, the character's hair and clothing are a lot more detailed and textured which is great. Their skin also doesn't look as "plasticky" as the previous screenshot which removes the doll effect Strangely, in the 0.2 portion of the trailer, Aqua's model still suffers of the doll effect. Her hair and cloth are really detailed but her skin still looks like plastic. I think that's mainly because of the lighting. It looks like Square has been having a hard time with finding the right lighting for night time with the new engine and that gives the characters like Terra, Aqua, Riku and Kairi a weird look since they were all in "nightime lighting" (Mysterious Tower & Realm Of Darkness are "night themed"). But as we've seen with X Back Cover, the right lighting seems to fix every problem. EXHIBIT D: The Art Direction (See attached files) As I mentioned earlier, with the very first trailer of KH3, Square showcased some graphics and they haven't really delivered what they promised. That's not because the Unreal Engine isn't good enough but because they changed the art direction. It wasn't clear what art direction they were going for with the 2015 trailers for KH3 but, for me, the 0.2 footage we've seen made the art direction clearer and it's actually something they teased in the very first trailer. If you look at the 0.2 cutscenes from the E3 demo, you'll notice that Aqua actually looks a lot like her model from the pre-rendered cutscenes. It doesn't really show in the E3 2016 trailer but it does in the demo. Even Terra, whose model probably isn't finished since it doesn't look very detailed, looks a bit like his pre-rendered counterpart. The main difference with their pre-rendered counterparts is that they look a bit more cartoony in the game. And I think that's exactly what Square is going for. Instead of making the characters look exactly like they do in the pre-rendered cutscenes, they are trying to make them look like their pre-rendered counterparts but with a cartoonish touch to capture the Disney aspect of KH. And they've shown that in the very first trailer, when "KH3D Sora" transitioned into "KH3 Sora". This might not be a revelation to everyone, but it enlightened things for me and I know other people like me complained about the visuals for KH3 so I wanted to show everybody that there is nothing to complain about. Square just has to get the "night lighting" right and everything'll be good I'm satisfied with KH3's look. Share your thoughts
  8. So I saw a picture of the 6th Apprentice, Luxu, and saw that his Black Coat zipper is triangular. The person who was speaking to Ira, the Unicornis Foreteller, was speaking to an individual who had the triangular zipper. This implies that Ira was not speaking to the Master of Masters, but Luxu, indicating that they meet sometime before Ava, the Vulpes Foreteller. catches up with him. I'm still new to this site, so if anyone can pull the pictures from the trailer for comparison, and one from Luxu's page in the KH Wiki, I'd appreciate it. That said, we just learned something new. Go wild, people.
  9. So if you are some of the few who hasn't seen the SEP KH2.8 livestream with Tai Yasue, SE uploaded that segment for your viewing!
  10. Hey there everyone, how's it going!? So then, I'm still all happy and hyped up due to the 2.8 trailer we received a few days ago! The hype is real, people! So then, I wanted to give my thoughts on what I thought about the trailer, and I also discuss whether or not Kingdom Hearts III has a chance at appearing at E3! I, The Friendly Neighborhood Webhead, present you with my thoughts! Enjoy! So then, how about all of you? Did you enjoy the trailer? And are you expecting to see anything related to Kingdom Hearts III at E3? Let me know in the comments section below!
  11. So most of us have seen the new Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 trailer, and boy it looks AMAZING! However, at the end we noticed that it told us to look for Kingdom Hearts III announcements this winter. Do you think this mean that Kingdom Hearts III won't be at E3, or are they just saying that the release date will be revealed in winter still leaving a spot for a trailer at E3? Let me know!
  12. The scene that we saw with Aqua could be her trying to find a way to leave the Realm of Darkness after meeting Ansem the Wise and him telling her about Sora. Then Mickey & Riku enters the Realm of Darkness themselves and finds Aqua in the middle of a huge fight with Heartless & them joining her in her fight. After that, Mickey tells Aqua that they can escape & she can help them find Ven. When they find Ven & awakens him, the four of them heads to Disney Castle, go through the portal into the Keyblade Graveyard and recruit the Lingering Will to help fight Master Xehanort.
