  1. Man... I had totally forgot about this place after almost 8-9 years since I last logged in. I remember it use to be booming with all kinds of posts years ago. I guess it died down a bunch since then. 1.) Introduction and Explanation Anywho, for those who don't know me. I'm the crazy guy that attempted, Raged hard, raged some more, almost lost my sanity, completed, and proved to everyone on gamefaqs over 8-9ish years ago that it's 100% possible, and legit to be able to complete BOTH (Well... Now 3 is added as well, so more than 2)(NAMELY 2.5, and reasons will be listed next) Kingdom Hearts games at Level 1 Proud Mode for KH1.5(which, if you DIDN'T know, because of the way the mechanics work, Proud mode is actually the harder difficulty for a Level 1 run in KH1.5 instead of Critical because you ALWAYS do chip damage in Proud. Critical is actually a little easier because Sora can do more damage in that difficulty) and Critical Mode(2.5 + 3), but not just complete them at Level 1; (that's been done by a handful of people. However, everybody that has completed the Lvl 1 run always labels their run "complete" Yet, they all stopped at SILVER Crown.) But, I decided, and wanted to take it all a step further, and be the standout of them all. As well as debunking the most ridiculous, yet shockingly widespread belief beyond the masses: the before thought "Impossible" Holy Grail of Kingdom Heart challenges: Completing Level 1 critical mode... AS WELL as obtaining 100% completion in the Jiminy Journal, including completion of EVERY Mushroom XIII challenges, and actually having the GOLD Crown! Which was considered literally impossible. (Yeah, I know. Insane, isn't it?) 2.) The False Rumor And The Mission To Prove The World Wrong To actually 100% the Jiminy Journal, and Obtain Gold Crown in 2.5 which involves the Mushroom XIII challenges. Everybody, and their momma back then swore, and pushed the notion of "You can't complete atleast 1 or 2 of the mushroom challenges (most notably, Agrabah mushroom, Twilight Town, and Port Royal mushroom, respectively) without leveling up, it's totally impossible" As well as the old fable of "It's impossible to get Ultima Weapon in 1.5 at Level 1 because you don't get lucky strike abilities to grind synthesis materials without leveling" etc. Nah, it's all do-able. A huge pain in the ass? Yes. Definitely. But, achievable. 3.) Hype Yourself Up/Believe In Your Ability Like myself before attempting, I'm sure most people would just shake their head, and say to themselves "nope. Never. Cant do it" I was that guy. Then one day, I told myself "Hey... they put the option to void any EXP gain.. I'm gonna try it.. Let's see what happens, and how it goes at level 1. I mean, it can't be IMPOSSIBLE; They obviously added it as a feature for a reason." 4.) The Beginning of Doubt Of course, I begin. I start treading along, beginning my journey into my first attempt into a Kingdom Hearts game without leveling up. Everything goes smoothly, up until you start getting demolished left, and right every second, and the bosses annihilate you in a single hit. Making you re-evaluate, and question your ability, and if you can do it. 5.) Opening Your Perception/Total Realization The KH series, AND the series' difficulty as a whole; drastically, and dramatically changed for me once my eyes opened, and I seen the blatant "slap you in the face" obvious, and stopped trying to play Kingdom Hearts like an Action/Adventure RPG like a normal/casual playthrough would basically literally be. Instead, gaining the Square Enix perspective, and knowing their past; made me realize that it's supposed to actually be played like, (and get ready for a mind blown moment) a friggin' Turn Based RPG... Honestly, I think once you guys get this realization, and mindset in your head like I did while you're playing through; every one of you, and I mean EVERYONE of you guys, no matter how "gud" you ARE or AREN'T at the Kingdom Hearts games in a casual, normal playthrough. You can be absolute dirt at the (falsely assumed random, seemingly "unpredictable", ever-constant flow of combat) but start trying to take a slightly different approach/('s) towards the way you actually play games like this, and even open up your mind, and perceive, and acknowledge the gameplay in a different way altogether than what you, and probably, most people normally would have absolutely no idea or even fathom that there's more to, and many more ways to go into a Kingdom Hearts game than the basic, "normal" DmC-esque style combat that we all experience/('d) and most of us, are even conditioned to. 6.) Breaking Old Habits/Adopting New Ones However, once you change the perception/habits you have of the game already, and change the rules ever so slightly, and subtly to merely change towards a playstyle that of the old-school, traditional turn based views, and start planning strategies, and changing your playstyle around a "turn-based rpg mindset" instead of our pre-conditioned, already accustomed, and comfortable free flow combat that most of us are already "comfortable" with or use to. 7.) Acknowledge Game Mechanics/Learn Everything Any of you guys without a doubt in my mind would be able to Level 1 the game as it then becomes almost trivially easy once you decide to perceive KH in just a slightly different way (Turn Based instead of Free Combat) and start to play in an entirely different way accordingly (Having a turn based view/play style really helps not only by helping you learn to better/more accurately time your attacks, guards, dodge rolls, reflects, and etc. But, also makes you a lot more aware, and attentive as you're going to be learning to take it slow, and not rush battles, but to stay on your toes, closely watch for any, even if very subtle visual clues: motions with an enemy's hands, AND their body language. As well as listening for any audio clues or catch phrases; these are everything you are looking for to expect, and anticipate the next move of your opponent. Get a hit in when you can, and defend all the counter attacks that will be delivered back afterwards. Learn the timing to perfect guard; it's going to be the key to your survival, and the timing of each attack you learn never changes. So you don't have to ever expect or assume that a certain attack is ever going to be slower/faster than when previously used. You finally learn the timing for perfect guarding an attack, and you'll always be able to perfect guard it, as it will never be change the rate of speed. 8.) Truth of Developer's 100% Intended Game Design And The Public's Blindness So yes. After stating this, and the way certain mechanics work. Know it or not, even believe it or not. Even though it does EVERYTHING to make you "think" it's an action RPG. Which is semi-true, and fully the case to the masses. It was fully meant, and intended as a Turn Based RPG, and I'm going to open your eyes, and convince you. 9.) How The Kingdom Hearts Series Hides It's True Intended Design, and Disguises Itself As An Action RPG Any casual player gets the action RPG style in a normal playthrough. Just as every first time, 2nd time, etc. player always does. Nothing about the gameplay comes off as "turn based". And is more than often considered the polar opposite of a Turn Based game. Which, was presented this way to appeal to a wider audience such as younger aged, Disney lovers who didn't grow up with RPGs, or just jumped into the game world. As leveling makes it where you literally never have to learn or even use guard, reflect or parry the counters you receive if you really never even wanted to. As taking damage is hardly worrisome, or trivial, and easily tended to with a Cure, and Potions. You can even just carelessly attack, and attack anytime you want. Even if it isn't the best time, and you take a hit. You can still beat the game, and everything in it regardless. - No Turn Based Elements seen/felt whatsoever 10.) Awakening Into Reality/Acknowledging The Hidden Truth: Turn-Based Gameplay In comparison, Level 1: Any hit you take can 1 shot you. If you get caught in a combo attack, you WILL die. There's no possible way to constantly spam attacks, and tank hits. You gotta learn how to properly utilize things that you probably hardly, if ever even used: Guard, Reflect, Dodge Roll, Aerial Recovery, etc. and to learn timing. All this coupled along with the Revenge Counter mechanic (Which, I will explain in more detail below) is how it becomes a Turn Based game; as there is only a certain amount of attacks you can deliver before the enemy counters. - Turn Based RPG 11.) Notice The Signs/Process Everything/Uncover The Veil The first mentioned; is the game probably 90% or more of the masses experience, and perceive. People just don't see the alternative, and it's funny because I just seen a thread on another forum where the OP literally posted "I absolutely love Kingdom Hearts, because it's not just another cliche Turn Based RPG. I despise them." That was almost laughable, and cringe to read, and goes to show just how many people can overlook major things that are hidden in plain sight. However, if one is to attempt a Level 1 run, and play Kingdom Hearts the true way the developers intended; fact is, it's nothing more than a regular Square-Enix FF style "TURN BASED RPG" with complete movement, and control of character at all times. 12.) The Main Mechanics And Physics: The Enemy's "Revenge Counter" Seriously, when you get down into the physics, mechanics, and all the equations that go into every single boss fight, you begin to see it. Just ONE example is this: You're in the middle of a fight, let's say with Data Roxas; just for an example. Soon as the battle begins, and you gain control of Sora, you need to cast a reflect to counter Roxas' Keyblade Spin. After the successful reflect you are granted a small window where you're allowed to attack, and land up to (and let's just say for instance in this example, maybe 3-4 hits) 3-4 hits on Roxas before he is scripted to automatically counter attack. These counter attacks are termed "Revenge Counter" or just simply "RC" abbreviated. if you ever see the term in guides or posts, or in future research, but didn't know what it meant. 13.1) Explaining "Revenge Counters" And "Revenge Values"/Looping Bosses And Minimizing Danger Ah, Revenge Counter. The key to winning, and main mechanic of a level 1 run tbh. Every enemy has always been scripted to counter attack after a few hits, and this was so everybody at level 100 with Sora couldn't just endlessly wail on an opponent non-stop, and make it even easier than what it already was to begin with. Now, once you actually learn about, and study the revenge counter mechanic, and how each enemy works; you actually can use it 100% in your favor in completing, hell, I'd even go so far as to say even almost cheesing a Lvl 1 crit run. As in, learn to read the small signals before attacks. Nothing is unpredictable. There's ALWAYS a signal/warning. Learn how many hits you can throw before they counter attack Sora. 13.2) Deeper Breakdown Of "Revenge" Mechanics/Examples Of "Baiting" Attacks These hits, the attacks, the number, whatever you're most comfortable calling it; for future reference or research of your own are termed "Revenge Values" or simply "RV" if abbreviated. After you learn how many hits you can land (the number of hits it takes to bait an RC is the opponent's RV) learn the timing to guard the counter attack/(s) after, and retaliating in the enemy's small, brief recovery window. All you do is, count your hits, after you land that 4th hit (or whatever number of hits the current boss' Revenge Counter activates) you need to automatically hit guard so you can negate his RC, and guard his other 2-3 hits he dishes out before leaving another open window to land another 3-4 hits on him. It's literally rinse, and repeat: Attack 3-4 times to force or "bait" the enemy to counter attack-> Guard incoming revenge counter attacks from the enemy -> Throw another 3-4 strikes to hit his Revenge Value again to force another auto-counter. And it's just repeat steps over again. Essentially, what you're trying to do is put an enemy into a neverending loop that you can fully predict. You will see evidence of this in every fight in every video I'm going to post below. You pay attention, and you'll notice that I'll always hit an X amount of times (factor of X is the actual RV. Determined differently with each enemy. Could be 6 hits, like Marluxia's RV. Could be only 4 hits like Roxas' RV) but I ALWAYS land no more, and (hopefully) no less than the exact number of attacks needed to bait them into a RC, and guard it. 14.) Always Land The Exact Revenge Values. No More Any attempt to, or if you accidentally deliver an extra attack that is higher than the actual RV, you might as well retry; because you're not going to be guarding that counter, get caught in a combo you can't escape, and face the 1 hit death. Just follow those simple steps, and it then repeats the pattern if you're doing it correctly, and won't be unpredictable. What you're really trying to do is just try to keep everything in a never-ending loop so any unpredictability, and danger is eliminated. 15.) Explanation of "I-Frames" and How To Use Them For An Advantage Also, another biggie is learning I-Frames. Or, "Invincibility Frames" meaning the tiny few frames where Sora is invincible for instance: when you use a Drive Form, there are a few brief seconds of frames where you will not take any damage in the middle of using a form. Or using a skill like Donald's Duck Flare, and using it to your advantage, as you will see me do a bunch against Lingering Will at Level 1 to avoid being skill/attack/item locked, whip locked, and to stay safe during his DM or "Desperation Move" (Every boss has a DM which is expressed by the screen going dark, and the boss does their "finisher" per se.) 16.) The Biggest Slept On/Underestimated Skills In The Game: Reflect/ra/ga And Guard To probably over 90% of the KH community that sleeps on, and probably have never once used the spell Reflect-Reflectga. You have no idea just how busted, how necessary it is, and how brokenly powerful that spell is. Especially in a Level 1 run. It's pretty much an absolute MUST in it to do any real damage at that level. Not only that, but if you're not a master or not use to timing your guard precisely yet, Reflect/ga is an alternative that is safe, and don't need to be facing any particular direction to guard anything. Only downside to spamming reflect constantly instead of mixing up guards, and reflects is that if you don't rely on using guard, and spam reflect instead; you're going to be struggling to keep, and have MP when you want/need it. 17.) Short Summary/Review Of Everything So Far/Convinced Yet? Convinced yet? Literally. Turn-Based RPG. Except think of each of your 3-4 chain attacks as a "turn" and you know that as soon as you land your 4th keyblade hit, your turn is over, and it's automatically going to be the opponent's "turn", and since you're expecting this, and know this, you block perfectly in time with his counter attacks, and learn their pattern. The key is to try to just keep it in a constant, simple, loop-ish kinda fight. Making sure to force the counter attack yourself so you know precisely when to guard; rather than having to randomly guess/pray when their next attack is going to be, and if you're going to be able to read it quick enough. 18.) Opening Up Your Mindset/Perception/Planning Strategies Toward The Hidden Turn-Based Gameplay Is Key This was the biggest, and most obvious "eye-opening" realization that helped me tremendously once I started looking at it as a Turn Based game. Respectfully like most of Square Enix's works prior. Which, I believe if most people started having that mindset of playing it like it's turn-based, just about everyone that truly wanted to would be able to complete the level 1 challenge a lot easier than ever initially thought. Literally every boss has their own respectful number of attacks they can receive before being scripted to auto-counter attack. Don't matter who you're facing. Don't care if it's a regular ol' Heartless, and Nobody, or if it's the friggin' One-Winged Angel, Sephiroth or the "Seemingly impossible, even at Level 100" Lingering Will himself... They all can be read, and baited into an auto-counter. All of them. 19.) Outro/Final Messages/My Video Proof If anyone is interested in watching a few of my Level 1 Crit 2.5 Organization fights for entertainment or maybe to study for your own future level 1 run, I'm going to be posting links to them below. I just wish like hell that I had a good camera back then... I'm so sorry, and apologize from the bottom of my soul about the quality, but... It's literally all I had. My crap phone camera, and setting it up to point directly at my TV while I'm actually playing live in the moment, as you can probably tell by the noise of all the button mashing but, at that time, all I was worried about was having proof so all the board back then stopped saying that I was a liar, and showing that I actually did it... Recorded most of the highlight battles anyway Level 1 Crit Run .vs Sephiroth - https://youtu.be/GtBcldOxgIg Level 1 Crit Run .vs Marluxia - https://youtu.be/mDz2O8CZxFo Level 1 Crit Run .vs Larxene (THIS BITCH RIGHT HERE...) - https://youtu.be/nf684D52Mwc Level 1 Crit Run .vs Axel (w/ Restrictions) - https://youtu.be/vztQYNIeT4U Level 1 Crit Run .vs Lexaeus (No Damage) - https://youtu.be/ad58PWJmt80 Level 1 Crit Run .vs Roxas (w/ Restrictions) - https://youtu.be/TTaMJpxxxJM Level 1 Crit Run .vs Lingering Will + Silver Crown (Evidence of me using I-Frames to my advantage, and how you can utilize it) - https://youtu.be/dTm215sIhmI Obtaining Crown From All Data Battles Lvl 1 - https://youtu.be/IydQ7qub5-w Obtaining The Elusive and "Impossible" Gold Crown Lvl 1 Proof - https://youtu.be/YdbUuJd5JM8 Then the creme de la creme. 100% Jiminy Journal At Level 1 Proof - https://youtu.be/I0d1_Ec_UdY Bonus: My proof of getting Ultima Weapon on Level 1 PROUD Mode (Ultra Difficult) in KH 1.5 (Was hilariously, also considered impossible at first) - https://youtu.be/ye2ZsgQWI_Y 20.) Final Words Of Encouragement/Faith In You All Hope others may find help, and for others, even courage to attempt this challenge. If anyone is interested in trying it, and maybe have questions, I'd be more than happy to help out in any way that I possibly can, and any feedback, comments, questions, and anything is welcome, and wanted. Thanks guys! Like I said earlier, don't ever doubt yourself in anything. If myself, of all people can beat every KH game at Level 1; then I KNOW for a FACT anybody at all can. I promise you. As for the brave souls that will be attempting this seemingly impossible task anytime in the upcoming future, I leave you all with 1 final, and important message: "May Your Heart, Be Your Guiding Key"

  4. [Start: Right after Elsa leaves the scene] SORA: [Looking at the icicles blocking him.] Wow, those are some thick icicles. LARXENE: [Off-Screen] Now, don’t you know when to respect a lady’s space, young man? SORA: Well, given that it’s rare to see a story relevant girl around in this series, not as much as I should. Larxene: [Still Off-Screen] [-.-] What? SORA: Kind of a consequence for being in a title by Square and Disney – there’s way too many men around that you don’t remember how to interact with girls. Larxene appears behind Sora and his unimportant minions. Sora and his unimportant minions turn around to face her. LARXENE: Alright, I will give you that one. It’s no wonder why fanfiction can sometimes be sausage fests. SORA: Ah-ha! Let’s move on to the Organization stuff then. Is that alright, miss…? LARXENE: It’s Larxene, and thank you for the courtesy this time. For the basic point: we can’t let you be around Elsa for a while, so I need to keep you busy. SORA: How about we talk about why you are in the Organization? I mean, you are the second member I met whom I don’t recognize. LARXENE: Castle Oblivion, kid. You wouldn’t remember me due to Naminé’s repair job. [Sora makes an “ah” to that.] This catch up is quick and decent, but I really must keep you from Elsa a little longer. So…I’m going to use my electricity on those icicles to make a needless filler detour fortress. Ta! Larxene begins the formation. SORA: Wait Larxene! Sora pulls out the Pride Heartbinder. SORA: Do you know what this is? Larxene’s eyes went wide. LARXENE: Aw crap! When do you get that? SORA: The Monsters Inc. world: Monstropolis! Oddly enough, fire-fighting rewards you with Fire-type summons. CAPTION: Key evidence is Ifrit of Final Fantasy and Belias of Final Fantsay XII. SORA: Now, I’m going to use this to stop your fortress plan, skipping utterly needless filler to an already filler world! COME FORTH, FIRE SIMBA!!! SHOW THIS LADY WHY KING’S FLARE IS THE MOST USEFUL AND OVERPOWERED OF ALL THE LINKS!!!* [Simba is summoned, and Sora ends up on Simba’s back] SIMBA: ROAR!! [TRANSLATION: FIRE EXPLOSION!!!] The ice blocks were melted by Simba’s appearance. Larxene wasn’t pleased. LARXENE: That’s not fair! We’re supposed to be part of a cliché JRPG story: the good guys aren’t meant to get past the villain’s traps that easily! SORA: Ha-ha! What’s the matter? Did the cold air go and turn hot on you? LARXENE: ……… Larxene could only stare at him with a miffed face. SIMBA: Rowr. [TRANSLATION: That joke was lame. Even for you, Sora.] SORA: Well, excuse me, critics! At least we won’t have to go through useless filler now. LARXENE: Urg… This whole scene was a waste of time… I’m outta here! See ya at the top and on a frozen lake! Larxene brings up a dark corridor to exit through. SORA: See ya later! LARXENE: (to herself) Seriously, though. I should have just been a boss battle here. SORA: Now onward, Simba! Onward to Els-ahh!!! Simba’s time was up and thus, Simba disappeared. Sora falls to the ground, which was now covered in mushy snow. Face first. It’s “yuk” and “ouch” at the same time. END Author’s notes: Due to my time in the real game’s ice fortress, Simba indeed won the title of best Link. This was an example of a possible abridged or parody of Kingdom Hearts III (and basically post-Kingdom Hearts III) I had in mind for a while. Sorry that the jokes didn’t work. I apparently have little to no skill in joke writing.
  5. Okay so I just noticed this the other day while I was playing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD Remix collection. Each Absent Silhouette is placed in a specific location for a specific reason. Here are the reasons for their locations: -Marluxia Is placed in the beast's room near his flower because Marluxia's element is flowers. -Larxene is placed on Isla de Muerta in the Pirates of the Caribbean world, because similar to a pirate, she is a traitor to Organization 13 -Lexaeus is placed in the Sandlot where the struggle battles are held to determine who is the strongest person in Twilight town similar to how Lexaues is the physically strongest Organization member. -Zexion is placed in the Underworld because he mostly resides in the basement of castle oblivion and uses dark magic and the power of illusions to fight. Now the reason for this thread is I cannot figure out why Vexen is placed in the peddlers shop in Agrabah and I haven't found the answer on google. I was wondering if anyone knew why or would like to discuss why. Also I'd love to discuss the other absent Silhouette locations to see if anyone else noticed this.
  6. Well as many of you guys probably heard, Shanelle Gray (official voice actress of Larxene in KH: ReCOM) has recently confirmed her involvement in the newest entry in the series Kingdom Hearts III. Instagram user @sobpar sent a direct message to the actress asking about her possible return as Larxene in KHIII to what Shanelle Gray responded with a simple "Yes", thus confirming the appearance of the character in some form in the long awaited video game. While no confirmation has been made through Square Enix or Tetsuya Nomura themselves, it's recommended to take the news with a grain of salt until actual confirmation from the producers is made, still the chances of this being real are way high. What are your thoughts about this news? Did you want Larxene back? How do you think she will be portrayed? Share your opinions and comments below and don't forget to smile back!

  8. Long time series fan & like many I found COM to be a frustrating game but I think most people including myself spent more time being frustrated by the game then paying attention to its characters. I was on a different forum posting this theory & even made a youtube video about it but everytime I post it anywhere it gets pulled. Either its that far left field or I am on to something? So here it goes. Castle Oblivion, I am going to break down each major player there & their purpose behind their real plans. Most everyone there is not there for the reasons you think. Vexen is my favorite of the Organization (I do not care for much of them)& thats how I begun to dig into this game. Lets start easy, Sora. Sora is simply lead their by Marluxia falling the events of the very first game & has mostly no major role to play other than being used by every other character for different plans. Riku. Riku ends up here after being lost in the darkness & is looking for the King, Sora, & some way to fight his darkness. Again simple. From here on out things get kinda messy so try to stay with me. Xemnas is frustrated with these 6 members so he sends them off to Castle Oblivion under the notion that this is a mission to dwell in the castle for the time being. Hes frustrated with them because they are either failing him or getting in the way of his true plans. I will explain. Marluxia is a traitor but is not the lead turncoat, but co-leader. We will get back to this. Vexen has been only showing interest in his studies & is no longer a loyal member of the team but instead only wanting to serve his research & doing so even when instructed not to. Vexen at this point has become more in the way because of this. He only remains a member out of fear of leaving. So in the end Vexen is killed because he learns of Marluxias "plan" to use Sora. So Marluxia wanting Vexen to find out nothing more of his real plans has Axel kill him but this not pleasing to Marluxia as he views Vexen as someone who could be won over to his real plan. Thus Vexen meets his end. Lexaeus is another that simply met his end trying to be loyal. I believe he was sent to Castle Oblivion because Xemnas viewed him loyal to Zexion alone. My proof. Lexaeus states that he is aware that he has no idea of any ones real goals but he says Zexion is the only one he can trust. Because Alaeus knew Ienzo as a child so he felt he must protect him & could trust him alone. Lexaeus states this in a report in one of the games, either 358/2 days or com. Lexaeus' death was part of only Xemnas' plan. As Ansem is the one who ended him because they needed Riku alive & knew Lexaeus was loyal to Zexion & if something would happen to him then Lexaeus would be ablaze in anger. And Xemnas needed something to happen to Zexion. So Lexaeus had to go. Zexion, I will come out & say it, I believe Ienzo is Blaine & but lost his memory during time travel much like Terra/Xehanort did when he suffered a large amount of damage at the end of BBS. I believe because of his loss of memory he carried on with life with the other scientists until they all became nobodies & only then did he regain his memory but by that time it was too he had already lost his heart, it was too late he needed a heart. Whats up with the age then? Ven & Blaine are teens in Unchained but are both different ages in BBS because the time travel messed with their ages. Ven appears at the start of the game as a baby when Xehanort found him & Ienzo appears as a child. In com Zexion figures out the plans of all the players. I believe he was sent there there because him & Marluxia figured out Xemnas' plan, Saix & Axels plan, & maybe even Xigbars plan. I believe they both joined the Organization because they both had lost their heart & at first believed that Xemnas really was trying to get all of the hearts back for the XIII but it was not until after they figured out all the players at work here that they chose to turn but was discovered so they were sent to Castle Oblivion on different floors as a way of making sure they could not make much progress in turning on the Organization. Zexion never intened or wanted Lexaeus or Vexen to die but once Vexen found out all that was going on Zxeion seemed to know Vexen would be felled. Lexaeus on the other hand seemed to surprise Zexion that he had passed. Most likely because Lexaeus had won the fight had it not been for Ansem. Zexion & Marluxia were clearly not pleased with the deaths of their team. Marluxia was sent their for the same reasons as Zexion but I believe it is all but confirmed that he is Lauriam in Unchained. Which both him & Blaine are in the same faction which I believe Lauriam & Blaine staged the death of another member to get Lauriam in. Why did he not appear in BBS then? Because he was placed in a different world after the time travel & spent the time during BBS looking for Blaine. And it was not until they both lost their heart that they found each other. So when Zexion & Marluxia were found out they realized they would need a plan which worked out perfectly because they wanted to find Ventus to wake him which is locked in a room somewhere in Castle Oblivion. I believe they leaked that Marluxia was the head of the turncoats because they needed to be sent their to carry out their plan. Which was to lure Sora to the Castle & use Namine to wake Ven who is connected to Soras heart. Its unclear Zexion & Marluxias true motives but clearly they either need Ven so they are free from the Organizations hand or for some other reason but they clearly need Ven. Axel I believe was ordered to kill all of the ones stationed at Castle Oblivion, how he did it I believe he came up with it on the fly. Vexen was clearly a goner once he found out what everyone was up to. Axel avoided Lexaeus & Zexion until Lexaeus had passed because Axel knew Lexaeus would defeat him & protect Zexion. Axel knew letting Namine go would make Larxene go after her which of course crossed her path with Sora for the last time. And Axel seemed to believe he was going to have to kill Marluxia himself until Sora came in & did the job for him. Axel then waited & used Riku Replica to strangle a weaken Zexion until he faded. Which leaves Larxene. I believe once Zexion & Marluxia leaked Marluxia turning in order that they were sent to Castle Oblivion they knew they would need a way to leak it so they had Marluxia ask Larxene who feels disrespected by Xemnas & the above members to join which allowed Xigbar to overhear this & inform Xemnas. Which we know Xigbar listens to conversations based on a scene in 2 remix with Zexion which Zexion states that he knows whats in the chamber of repose & Xigbar suggests that Zexion knows of the place where the other friend is, since we know Aquas armor is in the chamber of repose then the other friend must be Ven who we know was locked away at Castle Oblivion. wrapping up the entire theory in neat bow. This seems mostly inferred from closer inspection but I admit I did have to connect a few dots but I feel most of this is likely. Thoughts?

will my babes ever return in kingdom hearts 3? i miss them.....

  10. Yeah, it's a lazy edit, but I have a feeling that she'll look like this. After all, Axel lost his markings when he reverted back as Lea, so who's to say that Larxene's somebody can't have a visual change of her own? So, what's everybody's thoughts?
  11. So obviously, we haven't met the original personas of the non-RG Org13 members. Do you think we'll meet them again in KHIII? Will they be in separate worlds, or the same one? Are they from a world we've been to before? Will they be antagonists or allies? What would their aims be? How would they react to seeing Sora again? Would they still be able to use their powers? And obviously, what could their names be? I have so many questions about this group, and I really hope we get answers to these during KHIII. I'd personally love to see them in their normal outfits, out of their cloaks. What about you guys?

  14. After noticing that Marluxia's nobodies are in the Kingdom of Coronia: this made wonder about a potential though... Marluxia's Nobodies: Tangled World (common theme of flowers) Vexen's Nobodies: Frozen's World (common theme of ice) Larxene's Nobodies: Big Hero 6 World (common theme of electricity/technology) Zexion's Nobodies: The Princess and the Frog World (common theme of Magic/Voodo) Lexeaus' Nobodies: Atlantis World (common theme of Earth)
  15. Did you know.. the voice actor of Larxene in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (Shanelle Gray) does the Wendy commercials you see on TV? It's a very interesting (and funny) fact!
  16. Hey Everyone I am back and I made another video on how to defeat Larxene The Absent Silhouette in KH2FinalMix. If you need help on defeating her just click on the link and it will take you to my video on my Youtube Channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Htp0JOm1cvQ
  17. Hello Kh13.com! My name is Aaron! I am entering this topic fpr the chance to win the new localized volume four manga of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. For my story I want to let each and every one of you know this is my first tome doing this, I have never really written a fan-fiction of my own before. I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to read this, and I respect everyone's opinions on this, whether or not they are negative or positive. This story will be an attempt to portray the story of Larxene (who I interpret as Arlene) and Marluxia (using the interpretation of the name Lumaria) when they were human while also incorporating characters from certain Final Fantasy games such as "Final Fantasy X" and "Final Fantasy XIII". A Salty yet Sweet Truth By Aaron Reynolds Prior to the events of "Birth by Sleep", in the Radiant Garden castle of which Ansem The Wise resides, Even is put in charge of caring for young Ienzo who can barely form a sentence due to loss. It is in those feelings of loss that he attracts certain unwanted attention to the castle grounds. Aeleus and Dilan try to resolve the matter by defeating many unversed but to no avail as they seem to keep coming back. Ansem summons Even to discuss the matter at hand. Master Ansem: Even! May I speak with you? Even: Why yes Master! How may I be of assistance? Master Ansem: It has been two weeks since Ienzo has joined us. I fear we may never discover his origins, nor the locations of his dear parents. In time he may begin to wonder why he is here, I would like to make him a welcome member of our community, however I cannot find a suitable way of making him feel as if he were at home. *Ienzo peeks through the door* Even: It is certainly one thing to care for the boy after all this time, however might I imply that we cannot keep pretending to be his surrogate parents nor can we properly bring him up in our studies! The boy still refuses to learn! Master Ansem: Then perhaps it is time for a different approach, one that excludes homework. *Ienzo tilts his head towards Ansem* Even: What might that be Master Ansem? Master Ansem: I will take the boy to the square, a bit of time out of the castle might do him some good. We may not be capable of teaching him, however we can show him we are at least decent people. Even: As you wish Master, now if you'lI excuse me I will return to my research for now. Master Ansem: The Replica program I presume? Even: Precisely Master! Master Ansem: I shall leave you to it. *Ienzo comes out from the door and joins Ansem* Master Ansem: Why good afternoon young master! shall we be off? *Ienzo nods his head as he holds Ansem's hand". Meanwhile in Twilight Town a struggle tournament is being held, everyone is attending as it is close to the end of summer vacation for many students. Even the NORA gang (a small group of juvenile youngsters) showed up to see their leader Snow stand up to the challenge. Yuj: Hey Snow! Are you gonna be at the the struggle tournament later? Snow: You better believe it! Lebreau: I heard so many people signed up for it, but why? Snow: It's a dream come true that's why! Everyone gets these special orbs, the point of the game is to knock all the orbs out of the other person's pockets and grab them before they hit you back! It's as simple as that! Absolutely no rules! Gadot: Well there ARE some rules. Apparently you gotta have to have more orbs than the person you're fighting. Otherwise you lose no matter what. Lebreau: I really don't see the point in it all, I mean what is so fun about hitting each other with a bat all day? Maqui: Well like Snow said there really aren't that many restrictions on how to win. In any case it'll be fun to watch! Snow: Yeah you said it Maqui! Now where is she.... Lebreau: You talking about Light? Snow: Hey don't go saying her name out loud! *all of the sudden he hears a girl speaking from behind him* Lightning: What's wrong Snow? You afraid I might challenge you to a duel? Snow: W-what? No way! I would never challenge you Light! Lightning: I'll tell you what, if I win in the tournament you'll have to buy us all ice cream! Snow: That's- Lightning: Deal? Snow: Fine! But if I win, that Ice cream is on you! *Meanwhile in the crowd a little girl pops up from behind Yuj and Gadot* Serah: Hey Snow! Snow! Yuj: Oh hey Serah! Sorry but I think the tournaments about to begin. Serah: I missed him? Yuj: Afraid so. *Suddenly the crowd sees the first two combatants* Announcer: Snow, the leader of the Nora kids, versus Bartz, a boy so talented he can copy any moves his opponents make! Snow: Let's make this quick! Bartz: Let's do it! *As the two are fighting, throwing attack after attack toward one another, Serah shouts from the audience* Serah: Look at Snow! He's just so awesome! Gadot: The other guy sure is fast though. Maqui: I think it's cause he keeps copying Snows moves. *Bartz runs past Snow about to swing his bat at him from behind, then surprisingly Snow back flips and strikes Bartz from behind* Announcer: And the match is over! Bartz: Aw man! Snow: That was fun! Bartz: THAT WAS FUN! (Mimicing Snow) Hey we should do that again sometime! *Bartz leaves the stage* Snow: Heh, funny guy. Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, the next opponent is Lightning! Childhood friend of Snow, she is fast and does not give up so easily! Serah: Sis? I didn't know you joined the tournament! *Looking over at Snow then looking toward at Serah Lightning winks* Lightning: Alright Snow time to make good on that promise! Snow: Time to make good on yours too Light! *The two get locked in an intense battle, having fun, channeling eachother's energy, and striking nimbly at each other while trying to take the orbs* Yuj: Go Snow! Gadot: You got this Snow! Serah: I'm not even sure who to cheer for! I hope whoever wins get's to win the tournament! *Snow jumps over and grabs one of Lightning's orbs then accidentally falls over dropping on of his orbs* *As the match is about to end Lightning runs over and takes out his bat in a speedy motion, then just as Snow get's up, she zips past him knocking all his red orbs in the air. Snow looks over at Lightning in a state of shock, and falls to the ground on his back.* Lightning: That wasn't too bad of a fight! Snow: Well, a promise is a promise. Lightning: On the bright side, Snow. Looks like you got a fan out of all this. *Snow looks at Serah jumping ecstatically shouting his name!* Serah: You did great Snow! You really gave it your all! You too sis! *The two friends smiled at each other as Lightning helped Snow back on his feet* Announcer: We have a new challenger today. Everyone give it up for Lumaria! A boy who came her all the way from Radiant Garden! Snow: A boy from another world? Lightning: this should be interesting. *Everyone watches as the mysterious pink haired youth battles his way through the remaining two opponents in order to reach Lightning* Lightning: I have to say I like the you fight. Lumaria: ... Lightning: Not much for talk huh? Well here goes! *The struggle match commences and the two are giving it all their energy. Lumaria is no ordinary boy, but he seems to posses a powerful strategy, he makes it so Lightning can't attack him, blocking all her moves* Lightning: Argh! How can he move like that? Lumaria: Take this! *Lightning flinches and the. Loses and orb* Lightning: Can't be serious! Lumaria: This ones for you Arlene! *He charges at full speed at Lightning* Lightning: Aaargh! *She blocks his move and takes back her orb* Lightning: Where did you learn to move like that? Lumaria: It doesn't matter, I was gonna win that trophy for Arlene. Lightning: Oh. I see. *Lumaria walks off the stage depressed* Announcer: Aaaand last but certainty not least! Everyone please welcome the Struggle Champion! Jecht! Jecht: Well, looks like someone finally got up to the challenge. Lightning: I hope you know sir, I don't intend to lose! Jecht: I can understand, but you should know, I'm the best! *Another intense fight lights up the stage and all are amazed at the quick but shocking outcome* Lightning: Take ths! Jecht: Sorry kid! *Jecht swings his bat around and does a backflip, then throws his bat at Lightning as if it were a ball. Startled Lightning falls on her side dropping all her orbs and the match is over* Lightning: How could I- How did I- Jecht: It's called luck kid, and it looks like you just ran out. See you forgot one thing: I'm the best! Lightning: Ugh..... Jecht: Don't go cryng or anything, it is just a game. Here. *Jecht helps her up* Jecht: The important thing is not to battle with your strength alone but also with your heart. If you got a strong enough heart, you don't need to go and bash everything in your path you see, you just gotta believe in your inner strength. Lightning: Thank you sir. *Lightning rejoins the others and her sister and they all go out to the Station to have Ice Cream. A little yellow marble rolls over to Lumaria. He examines it and takes it with him* Maqui: I hear there's this new flavor they got at the ice cream shop. Snow: What's it called? Maqui: Well according to the menu it's from Radient Garden; Sea-Salt Ice Cream, I think it's called. Lebreau: Hey guys I think someone's following us. Snow: Sea Salt? Who would buy something like that? Hey wasn't that guy also from Radiant Garden? Lebreau: Guys! He's right behind us! Lumaria: It's a good flavor! You should try it for yourself! *Behind the NORA gang is Lumaria* Lumaria: I would. Me and my friend Arlene always picked that flavor. Lightning: You again? Lumaria: Sorry for how I acted earlier. Lightning: No I get it, you have a lot on your mind. Who is Arlene? Lumaria: Well she was a friend of mine, but father said I couldn't be friends with her anymore. I tried to reason with him but, he said if I showed I really cared about her enough I would need proof. Which is why I entered the tournament, to win the trophy and prove I was good enough. Snow: That's kinda harsh. Hey wait you said you were from Radiant Garden right? Lumaria: Uh-huh Snow: how did you get here? *Meanwhile back at Radiant Garden* Master Ansem: You see Ienzo we live in a mysterious and wonderful world. There is a theory based on an ancient tale told by many of the towns people. Once the worlds were all connected safely guarded by the light, then one day darkness shrouded the mind of those wanting the great light, and so their actions brought upon the destruction of the world and broke it apart. However each piece of the world remained intact thanks to the ever glowing light in the hearts of children. *Ienzo quietly listens to what the Wise sage has to say* Master Ansem: Ah here we are. Moogle: Can I help you good sir? Kupo? Master Ansem: Two Sea Salt Ice Cream sticks please! Moogle: Coming right up Kupo! *Ansem the Wise hands Ienzo a stick and as the two walk back to the castle, Ienzo lets out a small but noticeable smirk, the two would be as teacher and student from here on* Moogle: Oh! Another customer! What can I get for you miss? Arlene: Hee-hee *Arlenes scurries away* Moogle: Kupo? *The moogle turns around to see his shop filled with ignited fireworks. Each going off at the same time. Sparks fly everywhere startling the poor moogle* Moogle: Hey that wasn't nice kupo! Where are your manners kupo!? Kids these days kupo.... *Meanwhile back at Twilight Town* Snow: So you're saying you used a portal to get here? Lumaria: Yes! A glowing dark one! I see them more often lately because a masked boy keeps leaving them open. They say monsters can be heard from inside sometimes. Snow: Really?! So who is this masked boy? Serah: I'm sorry to hear about your father, it would stink if I couldn't spend time with Snow anymore. Lightning: Believe me that would be a dream come true. Serah: Hey! *Everyone starts laughing* Yuj: Well let's go look for this portal! You gotta get home somehow! Lumaria: Right. My dad is probably wondering where I am at the moment. Snow: Let's get you home Lumaria! Alright team NORA, lets move! Lumaria: Thanks Snow! You can call me Luma for short. Snow: Alright then, Luma it is! You can count on us to find the portal! *And so the team restlessly searched everywhere for this portal but to no avail. The portal would not be found so easily, but just then a mysterious masked boy steps out into to open streets* Masked boy: This world looks like it could use some excitement. *Unversed start flowing from a portal left open from the masked boy* Lightning: Snow look! Lumaria: There it is! Snow: Wait a second... Look out there are monsters coming out of that thing! Serah: Eek. Get em Lightning! Lightning: Serah stay back! *The unversed start scanning the area and suddenly notice the stress within Lumaria. As they are about to strike a strong yell can be heard from over the buiding* Jecht: Arrgh! Get going! Lightning: You? Jecht: I'll deal with the pip-squeaks you just get that kid out of here! Rrragh! *Jecht faces all the unversed by himself. Allowing the NORA kids yo get away. At the portal-* Lightning: Are you sure you'll be alright? Lumaria: Yeah I'll be fine. I didn't realize it at the time but. I noticed. You have really nice hair. Lightning: *blushing*. Yeah so? Lumaria: I didn't think I'd have to leave so soon, but I just wanted to say thank you all, your all my new friends! Lightning: Be careful in there. No more crazy stunts. Snow: Although I admire that try not to get careless. Yuj: Look who's talking? Lumaria: Alright, I'll see you again someday! I hope. *Lumaria steps through, waving good-bye to his new friends, and runs till he sees the portal to Radiant Garden. The darkness starts to chase him, but Lumaria escapes and falls on his back* Lumaria: Oh my head. Arlene: Your back! Your back! Your back! Lumaria: Whoa! Don't do that to me! Arlene: Did you get the trophy? The struggle thingy? Lumaria: No Arlene. I didn't get anything. Arlene: You idiot! How could you! Now I don't have anyone to play with anymore! Lumaria: It's okay Arlene, I did get something. Alrene: What is it? Lumaria I think it's a piece of that trophy they always give away. It must have dropped and I picked it up. Here you can have it. It reminded me of you. Arlene: You're not gonna talk to your father? Lumaria: I am, but instead of giving him something I think he'll understand if I just told him the truth. Arlene: Okay, whatever you say! *Arlene skips over to the moogle shop and sees nobody there anymore. Meanwhile the moogle is hiding behind the counter* Moogle: That girl is trouble Kupo! *Back at Lumaria's house, he talks to his father, and instead of scolding him his father gives him a "wild rose".* Lumaria: what am I gonna do with this? Lumaria's father: Friendship is more than an object. Sometimes you need it to grow over time. Just remember this rose whenever you are facing a hard decision. You have a strong heart son. Strong enough to someday run your own castle like the the great Ansem the Wise. While I don't quite like that friend of yours I can't stop you from wanting to be with her, just be careful you two. Lumaria: Okay *back outside* Arlene: what did he say? Lumaria: We can still hang out Arlene: You really are an idiot for going through all that just to talk to me! Lumaria: Why thank you, at least you got someone to talk to, with an attitude like yours someone has to keep you in check. Arlene: Heheh. Someday we'll have a castle just like that one right? Lumaria: Yeah someday. Arlene: I don't care if no one likes me, I just don't want to be alone! Lumaria: Then you should stop being mean to them. It's not that no one likes you. Arlene: You sound just like them! Shut up! *Arlene runs off* Lumaria: Wait Arlene! *Back in Twilight Town Snow, Lightning, Serah and the others are all seen sitting together enjoying the new Sea-Salt Ice Cream flavor. Lea and Isa also enjoy a sea-salt back in Radiant Garden. In a flash of events ten years pass and Ansem the Wise is betrayed by his six apprentices. Lumaria is recruited into the Orginization as a Nobody who had held on to his body thanks to the strength in his heart, he had forgotten what it was like to be human and in all that time forgot that he had fought so hard for Arlene. Marluxia had recommended that Arlene be recruited as well as a sort of instinct to hold on to his memories. Though the organization had thought of Arlene as erratic and not fit for the task, Marluxia had insisted that the strength in her heart had grown strong as the loneliness she felt darkened her heart and allowed her to become a powerful Nobody. After that number XII Larxene had been recruited. Meanwhile Zexion recalled a time he was close to Ansem and in remembering how Xehanort overthrew him, that lead him to join Marluxia in his scheme to overthrow the organization and gain the power of the keyblade wielder. In Twilight Town Lightning and her friends all went their separate ways and over the years as darkness descended. Lightning found her way into Traverse Town where she searched for her sister, instead she found a girl named Lumina who used to the power of darkness to summon her there. As for the NORA gang they dispersed as Snow went instead to Hollow Bastion to find Serah and still searches for her there. As for Jecht, he had long past left his son Tidus to embark on a journey from which he would never return, and he accepted the darkness within his heart and became a monster. The tradition of eating the Sea-Salt Ice cream would pass on to Hayner, Pence, and Olette, the soon Roxas, Axel and Xion, and Sora, Riku and Kairi. Now we are at the present. *Sometime after defeating Xemnas, in the months before Sora and Riku got the letter from King Mickey. Sora, Riku and Kairi purchase a batch of fresh sea-salt Ice Cream. As the sun is setting on the Destiny Isles, Sora reminisces about the good times he had in twilight town as Roxas, not even curious as to how he has these memories. He doesn't quite remember then fully but he can feel that he has tasted this ice cream and sat in the the setting sun with two of his best friends.* Sora: Hey Riku. Riku: Yeah? Sora: You said you met Roxas right? Riku: That's right. Sora: What was he like? Riku: Well for one thing, he liked Sea-Salt Ice Cream. Sora: C'mon! You were the only one of us who actually met him in person! You had to have known something about him! Riku: Well. He always seemed concerned about this girl. Sora: What girl? Namine? Kairi: It wouldn't surprise me, those two looked pretty close. Riku: No it wasn't quite Namine he was concerned about.... Weird it's like no matter how much I try I can't remember or see what they looked like. I just know, besides Axel, there was someone who Roxas really liked. Sora: A girl who Roxas really liked. *Sora looked at his Ice Cream for a moment, and in a flash of memory he saw a girl with black hair who looked like Kairi, but only for a second.* Kairi: Sora? Are you alright? Where did you go? Sora: Huh? No, I was just thinking about something. Riku: And? Sora: Well lately I've been having these weird dreams. I keep seeing Namine in them. It's like she's trying to tell me something. But I can't think of it. Riku: Maybe you just need rest. Kairi: Yeah you've been thinking a lot lately. Sora: I guess I have. *meanwhile in Sora's heart* Roxas: I hope he gets the message soon. I really do. I hate to seem him this way, so confused. Ven's heart: Don't worry I have a feeling a feeling you'll get to show him, soon, in his dreams. Roxas: What if he doesn't understand? Ven's heart: He will, someday he will. *Flash back to Twilight town during the days Roxas was with the organization.* Roxas: Hey you guys! Have you seen any heartless around here? Yuj: .... Gadot: ...... Lebreau: ..... Maqui: ....what's a heartless? Roxas: Oh y'know.... A creature created from the darkness, right Marluxia? *Marluxia enters* Marluxia: Correct Roxas. And with the aid of that keyblade of yours, you are able to defeat those heartless and in doing so release their hearts. A truly remarkable weapon. Roxas: Um yeah, so that's why I ask. Gadot: There haven't been such things here, not that we know of anyway. Marluxia: Roxas, we must continue onward- *Marluxia stopped and stares for a moment at the NORA members, recalling a time he had been helped by them.* Marluxia: You all should be wary of the darkness, it consumes even the strongest of hearts. *With that Roxas and Marluxia left the scene* *Back to Sora* Sora: Why do I remember that now? Riku: Hey Sora! Tidus and Wakka want to spar, you want in? Sora: Umm I'll catch up with you guys. Riku: .... (That's so unlike him, usually he's as upbeat as ever. Ever since he found out Roxas was inside him he's changed). Riku: Hey Sora! Sora! (I guess he left). *Later that night* Sora: Another dream about him.... Riku: Sora! I'm glad I found you. What are you doing out here so late? Sora: I keep seeing Roxas in my dreams. Do you think he had the same dreams about me? Riku: I'm pretty sure he did, but they never did him any good, he kept chasing them wanting to find answers, and all he found was more questions. Sora: I still wish I had more time to talk with him. I still had something I wanted to say to him. Riku: Remember what I told you when we were kids? You might need to look deep inside your heart. You'll get to someday, just wait. Sora: Yeah. Maybe in my dreams.... Riku: Maybe. Sora: Sorry for worrying you guys. Riku: Ah it's fine as long as your still you. Sora: light and darkness. Riku: huh? Sora: it's like the ice cream we had earlier, salty yet sweet. Riku: Yeah. Exactly. The two heroes looked upon the ocean at night, unprepared for what awaited them next. Later on in the realm of sleep. "Riku......" "Riku..........." "So much to do....." "So little time". Riku: What? "Chosen wielder of the keyblade, step fourth and choose your destiny" Riku: I don't understand! "Nor need you...." "Ask yourself Riku...." "Are you worthy of wielding that which had been passed down to you?" Riku: The keyblade? "Walking the path of darkness has changed you....." "You must now awaken the light deep with yourself". "You must become a Keyblade Master". Riku: But how? How will I know if I'm worthy? "Remember...." "You hold the most powerful weapon of all". *And so the next day Sora, Riku and Kairi would receive word from the king himself. It was time for yet another adventure.* I hope you enjoyed this story! Thank you for reading!
