A new costume for the character Squall Leonhart will be available in Dissidia Final Fantasy NT on June 5, 2019; the outfit is the same as the one he wears in Kingdom Hearts, and his weapon, the gunblade, seems to resemble the Sleeping Lion Keyblade first introduced in Kingdom Hearts II. The Keyblade based on the Griever insignia from Final Fantasy 8. Notably recognized as Squall Leonhart's emblem seen on his attire and Gunblade.
