Graphic Artists needed! All candidates MUST: Have graphic design experience and/or education. You'll be required to make us a complete year's set of Images for event posts such as cast and crew birthdays and game release anniversaries. Be creative. All images must clearly and accurately reflect the event they're celebrating and be eye-catching. It's also important to take the initiative to give the art new and refreshing updates here and there. Have a flexible schedule to be able to both manage the images and work regularly with the team on daily tasks as the images will, for the most part, be a one-time job. Be knowledgeable. You must be familiar with the cast/crew of the games and the other events as it will be your job to update the cast/crew birthday list either to add new voice actors, remove inaccurate speculations or change an image from 'happy birthday' to 'in memory of' when someone passes away. Hey guys! We are now looking to hire a few new moderators to help keep the forum safe, productive, and bot free! What do Moderators do? There are a list of things Moderators do! Fill out Reports. Reports are made when there are posting violations, bots, issues with fellow members, and other such things. We remove bad posts/offensive remarks/fights/bad threads When you see a shitstorm we are there to save the day! We handle member issues and fights. We correct double posting, move threads to proper places, and enforce other posting rules. What are we looking for? Someone who knows and always follows the posting rules. Someone with great people skills that can mediate issues and help other members get along. When you see a shitstorm you can see it going two ways. One way is everyone is joining in and going for the ride, or the second way where people are upset, saddened, and hurt/offended. We moderators don't want this. Different members in different time zones to cover everything. Someone who can remain unbiased and can properly discern issues fairly. Someone who can be responsible and reliable and is not joining strictly just for funsies. We need you to be active! Someone that sets a great example for other fellow members to follow. Someone that fellow members can talk to if they are upset, hurt, angry, or need a shoulder to lean on. This job can be very fun but also requires work and patience and a lot of great people skills. If you are not very social and patient this is not the job for you. This position is not for everyone. We are basically the government/police of the site here to serve all our fellow members fairly and justly so everyone can enjoy a peaceful, friendly, and fun community. In the beginning of KH2 we are given two chances to pick a weapon of our choice. The first time, with the struggle bats, I chose the hand guarded struggle bat(defense+1). Great. Then, I come to Roxas' dive to heart and am given a choice between a Shield, Sword, and Wand. Shield for protection, Sword for might/strength(im blanking on the term that was used), and Wand for wisdom and intellect. The guides I have looked at say that choosing one of these gives an advantage or plus in defense, strength, or magic. Others say it's what decides the order of abilities we learn as we level up(I don't doubt that). However, when I chose the shield and got the power of the guardian (um, YES please), I checked my stats and they went from (stats as of after I chose the hand guarded struggle bat-defense+1) strength 5, magic 6, defense 3; to Strength 5, Magic 7, Defense 3. Can anyone explain why my magic went up if I chose the shield that grants the guardian/defense level up/strategy, without leveling up(after choosing Roxas is still only level 1) Granted, perhaps I remembered my stats wrong. Either way my question is relevant all the same. I hate to fret about stats and such, but I chose Critical Mode...I want to make sure that choosing the same "genre" weapon doesn't either not give us a possible boost that we might get if we chose say Hand guard(+1 defense) and then Sword(+1 strength). Moderators take care of the site. They are basically like security for the site. They help keep it safe and friendly environment for all members no matter what. What do Moderators do? We can either take down posts or threads that are double posting, or we can delve into personal conflicts and make everything right again. Don't worry, you are never in this alone! One way everyone is either enjoying it and going for a ride, or the second way where people are sad and hurt. We moderators don't want people sad so say "NO" to shitstorms no matter what it is. Another way to contribute to your community. Yes there are news teams which are a great way to contribute to make this site what is meant to be, a fansite with Kingdom Hearts news and archives. But don't you want to also involved into the community? All these friends and people you see everyday where you can help them and make them happier and enjoy this site? That is one of the best reasons to become a moderator, you want people to be joyful and happy. Now not to burst your bubble, but not everyone can become a moderator. However, this may be the few chances you'll get to become one so mind as well try. We are looking for those who are able to complete the tasks above, as well as represent our site in the best way possible, being unbiased and being active. Once you become a moderator, I will explain to you much more on how you should act in certain situations. Lets say, he dislikes the game entirely, and he keeps bringing up his hatred against this game. Adam, another member, gets fed up and starts arguing with Mario on why he is hating on this game. What would you do? 2) On the forums, Mario is speaking about his opinion on a game. Lets say, he dislikes the game entirely, and he keeps bringing up his hatred against this game every chance he can get. Adam, another member, sees it happening and reports Mario and in his report he stated, "Mario is really getting on my nerves and is constantly bringing up his hatred on this game". What would you do? 3) On the forums, Mario is speaking about his opinion on a game. Lets say, he dislikes the game entirely, and he keeps bringing up his hatred against this game. He discusses the games flaws while giving little to no regard for the game's strengths. Adam, another member, tries to discuss with Mario about the game in each thread Mario brings it up in. They discuss on what makes the game good and what makes it bad. Another member, Allison, reported both Mario and Adam saying, "These two are arguing on this thread about 'Worst Games of 2014'." What would you do? --------------------------------------------- There obviously more I can come up with, but I don't want to overwhelm you. Take your time with this application. I may ask more questions just in case. If you feel this is too complicated or too hard, then feel free to try these situations. You can fill out both applications if you want, but if you find the first one too difficult but still want a chance then try this one instead. I am excited to announce that Everglow has joined the Archives Team. Everglow is of course our partner, and has already provided us with so much starting with a complete playthrough of KH3D's English version along with every cutscene all in HD 720p. Since then he's recorded complete playthroughs of the Japanese and English versions of HD 1.5 ReMIX along with every single cutscene in stunning 1080p. He also helped us finish off our KH2FM cutscene archive and is now working on our BbSFM playthrough. In the near future he'll be recording playthroughs of HD 2.5 ReMIX's Japanese and English versions along with every single cutscene in stunning 1080p.
